Kay: Well, I'm glad Tabitha agreed to watch Maria tonight. I'm still a wreck over what happened at that awful nightclub.
Simone: Me, too.
Jessica: Who knew some harmless flirting would lead to a bar brawl?
Kay: And end up with Paloma in the hospital?
Ivy: I just wish Sam would call and tell us how Paloma is.
Kay: Well, I'm sure she'll be ok. I mean, Paloma's no stranger to the club scene. She said she used to go out all the time in Mexico.
Jessica: Yeah, Ivy. I mean, whoever messed with Paloma tonight must wish he hadnít.
Simone: Yeah, Paloma probably left him in worse shape than he left her.
Ivy: Oh. That is wishful thinking, and you girls know it. You heard what Sam said -- Paloma was brutally beaten, possibly raped, and left for dead. Does that sound like a girl who gave as good as she got?
Ivy: No. If Paloma thought she could handle men, men she didn't know, men who go to bars for one thing, tonight proved her tragically wrong, and if you girls don't wise up soon, you could end up just like her.
Pilar: Madre santa del cielo. I plead with you as a mother. We've lost so much time together. Please, don't take my Paloma away, not now.
Martin's voice: It's my fault Paloma didn't grow up here in Harmony with her mother and siblings. Please, god, don't let my sins cost Paloma her life. Let my baby girl survive her ordeal. Let Paloma not have been raped.
Luis: I'm going to make the scum who did this to Paloma pay if it's the last thing I do.
Sheridan: Good luck, Luis.
Luis: See you.
Father Lonigan: Katherine, you shouldn't say things would be better if you weren't here.
Katherine: But it's true, Father. All I've done since I left Alistair and he faked my death has caused everyone pain -- Pilar, Martin, my children, his children -- especially Sheridan. I've made my daughter's life a nightmare. It really would be better for everyone if I were really dead.
Father Lonigan: Katherine, I must insist you stop talking like that. Only god can decide when our time is over on this planet.
Katherine: You're right, Father. I'd never kill myself.
Katherine's voice: But death would be easier for me than what I may do to spare my loved ones any more pain.
P.A. Announcer: Nurse Dillon to cubicle one, please.
Doctor: Let's hurry, nurse. We have a car accident victim in one.
Eve: If Ethan wasn't taking care of Theresa and the baby's expenses, I don't know what she would do. Thank goodness Whitney has health insurance for herself and the baby, because a child of incest could be born with a host of medical problems. Whitney, honey, hi. I was just thinking about you and the baby.
Theresa: Where's Jane?
Ethan: Um --
Theresa: Where's the baby? Where's the nurse?
Caroline: I'm sorry, Ms. Lopez-Fitzgerald. I was only gone --
Ethan: Excuse me --
Caroline: Where's the baby?
Ethan: Where's the --
Theresa: You left our daughter alone?
Caroline: Um --
Theresa: Where is she?
Caroline: I'm sure she's around here somewhere. Just --
Theresa: Oh, my god! Wait, Ethan!
Ethan: Calm down, calm down.
Rebecca: What -- what is tacosita wailing about now?
Theresa: Our daughter is missing, Rebecca! Did you take her?
Rebecca: Oh, please. Like I would want your spawn.
Theresa: Where is she, Ethan? Where's Jane? Oh, my --
Gwen: Ashley, you and mommy are going to be so happy together, just you and me, little girl. I am taking you to a special place, to a secret place where no one is ever going to find us.
Theresa: Where is she? Where is she? We were right there, when we were signing the insurance papers with Dr. Russell, and then -- how could she just disappear like this?
Caroline: I don't know.
Ethan: Relax. We're going to find her, ok?
Sam: What the hell's going on? I could hear Theresaís voice all the way down the hall.
Theresa: Our baby, your grandchild -- she's missing!
Sam: What? How?
Ethan: We don't know.
Theresa: We were just signing those papers right there, and we came back and -- this is your fault!
Caroline: I only stepped away for a moment to help a doctor with a patient.
Theresa: You stepped away -- that's all it took for something terrible to happen to --
Ethan: Listen, we don't know that.
Caroline: Mr. Winthrop's right. Maybe another staffer came by, saw your daughter unattended --
Ethan: Yes --
Caroline: And took her to the nursery.
Ethan: Ok, I'm sure that's what happened.
Sam: That makes sense. Let's go check it out. Come on.
Theresa: Let's go.
Rebecca: Theresa makes such a big deal about such little things. "Oh, my baby's missing. Oh!" Honestly, Gwen, I am surprised she hasn't accused you of hiding the little brat just to scare her. Gwen? Uh -- Gwen, where are you?
Gwen: Mommy and her new baby girl on well on their way to a wonderful new life together. From now on, Ashley, it's only the best for you.
Gwen: Oh, sweetheart.
[Classical music plays]
Gwen: Ooh, Vivaldiís "Four Seasons." It's perfect.
Whitney: Look, I didn't come here to talk about my baby. I heard that Theresaís little girl was sick, and the switchboard operator wouldn't tell me what was wrong, so I came to find out in person. What are you doing out of prison anyway?
Eve: Julian posted my bail.
Whitney: Oh. Well, I should have known he'd stick up for you no matter what.
Eve: I'm innocent, Whitney. Fortunately, Julianís trying to help me prove it.
Whitney: Doesn't matter to me either way.
Eve: As for Theresaís baby, she just had an ear infection. A course of antibiotics and she'll be fine.
Whitney: Well, good. I'll check with Theresa tomorrow, and -- sorry to have bothered you.
Eve: Oh, Whitney, don't go, honey. You just got here.
Whitney: Look, I just came here to talk about Theresaís baby. That's all I wanted.
Eve: I know. I miss you. Can't you just stay for a minute and just tell me how things are going?
Whitney: Well, you're accused of three attempted murders and I'm pregnant with my half brother's baby, so I guess things are peachy.
Eve: I know the situation is very embarrassing for you and Simone. I just hope that you won't let it affect your pregnancy.
Whitney: Well, I try not to think about it.
Eve: Well, even so, it might be affecting you subconsciously.
Whitney: What does that mean?
Eve: Well, I can't help but tell that you haven't gained any weight.
Whitney: Oh. That.
Eve: What does your ob-gyn say about that?
Whitney: I'm fine. I'm fine.
Eve: Well, honey, I don't know how you could be fine, because this far along in your pregnancy you should be showing a lot more. So why does your ob-gyn say that you're not gaining weight?
Whitney: Well, I haven't been to see a doctor about my pregnancy, and I'm not going to.
Eve: Whitney! Why not, honey? You're in your second trimester. You have to be under a doctor's care.
Whitney: Well, I'm taking care of myself.
Whitney: I'm being careful.
Eve: Well, what does that mean?
Whitney: Look, this is exactly why I don't talk to you. Can you leave me alone, please?
Eve: No, Whitney, wait!
Whitney: Don't touch me.
Eve: I just want to take your pulse and your blood pressure, just to see that you're all right.
Whitney: Well, I told you I'm all right. I'm fine. Now, if you could just leave me alone, please.
Eve: No, wait. No, wait! Now, you may not want to hear this, but you are going to listen to me, because I love you and I love that baby that's inside of you!
Whitney: Get out of my way, Mom, please.
Eve: No! Don't fight me on this, Whitney. Now, I'm your mother and I'm a doctor. I have to make sure that both you and the baby are ok.
Whitney: "Ok"? I'm carrying around my half brother's child! I'm not ok! I hate that I have this freak growing inside of me.
Eve: Oh, baby --
Whitney: There's nothing you can do to fix it, ok, so just leave me alone.
Simone: We've learned our lesson, Ms. Winthrop.
Kay: We won't put ourselves in situations we can't handle with guys we don't know. Isn't that right, Jess?
Ivy: Well, I really hope you mean that. I hope you learn from Palomaís mistake so you don't end up like her.
Kay: Well, I'm sure Palomaís all right. I mean, she survived being kidnapped in Mexico. That had to be worse than what happened tonight.
[Knock on door]
Ivy: Maybe Sam forgot his key.
Ivy: Luis, officer, come on in.
Luis: We just came from seeing Paloma at the hospital.
Ivy: Oh, yeah? How is she?
Luis: Not good. She's still unconscious, and her blood pressure's all over the place.
Ivy: I am so sorry.
Kay: Yeah, we all are.
Simone: Is there anything we can do for her?
Luis: Yeah. You can answer our questions so we can find the creep who did this to Paloma.
Ivy: I'm sure the girls will help in any way they can, won't you?
Luis: So, the three of you were with Paloma earlier tonight at the club?
Kay: Yeah. We were there for a little while, and then we decided to leave. The place was really jumping, though, when we headed out.
Simone: Yeah, and once we got outside, we realized Paloma wasn't with us.
Luis: But you all started out together, right?
Luis: So why didn't you go back inside and get her?
Kay: Well, we tried, but the door was stuck or jammed.
Luis: Ok. So, did you happen to see anybody hanging around Paloma before you all decided to leave?
Kay: Like we said, the place was really crowded.
Luis: Look, if you're holding out thinking you're helping Paloma, you're not. I know how she was dressed, I know how she acted, and I know that there are certain guys who don't know the difference between flirting and foreplay. And I know there are certain guys that won't take no for an answer. Now, whoever did this to Paloma is one of those guys.
Kay: Oh, my gosh.
Jessica: Oh, poor Paloma.
Simone: Chief Bennett said she'd been assaulted, but --
Luis: And possibly raped.
Ivy: You still don't know for sure?
Luis: No. And we won't know until she regains consciousness. Now, please, if there's anything you know that can help us find the creep that did this to Paloma --
Man: Let's dance some more.
Paloma: As soon as I know my friends are ok.
Kay: Jessica's coming home with us.
Simone: Good. This really isn't who we are.
Paloma: Oh, speak for yourselves. I was having a good time dancing.
Man: You and me both.
Paloma: Espera te.
Kay: Well, I don't want to leave you here alone, and I doubt that your mom or Luis would approve.
Paloma: I don't care if they do or not, but if you're leaving, I will, too. Hasta la vista, baby.
Man: What kind of tease are you?
Man: You get me all worked up out there on the dance floor, and now you're leaving? I don't think so.
Paloma: I'll give you my number. You can call me sometime.
Man: Don't put me on hold, sweet cheeks. This is one call you're going to complete right now.
Kay: He was in his early 20 with dark brown hair and sort of hazel eyes.
Simone: Yeah, I'd say he was about 5'10" or 11 inches tall and weighed maybe 170 pounds.
Jessica: Yeah, and he had, like, a swimmer's body.
Luis: Any piercings or tattoos?
Kay: Not that I could see.
Luis: Had any of you ever seen him before?
Jessica: I did once, down on the wharf. I think he might work on a boat or something.
Simone: Oh, I just remembered something. I think I heard someone calling him Vic or Nick?
Ofc. Kirkman: These are some really good leads, ladies. Thank you.
Luis: Yes. Thank you. Now, look, I'm not going to take the time to lecture you right now, but --
Kay: We know we messed up tonight.
Simone: Yeah, Chief Bennett made that real clear.
Luis: Well, let this be a lesson to you. Be careful, ok? I'd hate to see that happen to any of you.
Ivy: I'll see you both out.
Pilar: Palomita, once you're better, mija, we'll repaint your room, ok, and you can choose any color you like. And we'll buy new linens, and mMama will -- we'll knit a blanket for you. That way every time you use it, it'll feel like -- like a warm hug from me. Oh, god, Paloma, please. I can't lose you now. Please, dear god. We have so much to look forward to. Please, my little angel.
Father Lonigan: Katherine, promise me you won't do anything foolish.
Katherine: Don't worry, Father, I wonít. My days of being stupid and impetuous are over. I know how important it is to think things through, to know what it is that you really are going to do.
Martin: Well, what are you going to do?
Katherine: I'm -- to be strong in times of trouble. Father Lonigan has been helping me to more fully understand that. Thank you, Father, so much.
Katherine's voice: And soon Sheridan will thank me, too.
Sheridan: I wonder how Palomaís doing.
Pilar: Hey, Paloma? Paloma? You're awake? Oh, my god. Doctor! Doctor, come quickly! She's awake! Paloma --
Paloma: Mama --
Pilar: I'm right here, mi nina, I'm right here. Mama's right here. Oh, my god, I don't know what I would have done if I would have lost you. I love you so much, Paloma. Oh, god.
Paloma: Tia, papi, gracias a dios que estan aqui. I was afraid I'd never see you again.
Pilar: Paloma --
Eve: You know, honey, you don't really know if there's going to be anything wrong with your baby because you haven't been tested to know.
Whitney: Yeah, and I don't want to know, mom.
Eve: Now, Whitney, it's better for the baby if we know about any defects sooner rather than later.
Whitney: Why? I mean, I just want to know. I mean, what difference is it going to make to know ahead of time what kind of sick freak I'm going to have?
Eve: God, honey, but you don't know that!
Whitney: No, I do! Mom, I've done research on the internet. I know exactly what can be wrong with my baby, and it makes me sick.
Eve: Now, come on, you're just being overly dramatic.
Whitney: "Dramatic"? Am I being dramatic or am I being realistic? I mean, come on, because lately I've come to expect the worst, and thanks to you and your sorry past, I'm never disappointed. I'm having my first baby. You know, this is supposed to be the happiest time of my life, but instead, I keep worrying about how horrible it's going to be.
Eve: When we have the test results, we will be ready for whatever medical intervention is necessary.
Whitney: Yeah, I mean, with the genes my baby's going to have, I think we're going to need a stun gun on hand in the delivery room, don't you?
Eve: Oh, god, Whitney!
Whitney: What? Chad is the father of my baby, and you are both of our mothers, so our baby has a double dose of you in it -- an attempted murderer three times over.
Eve: I didn't try to kill Liz or Alistair or Julian or anyone. You know that.
Whitney: Like I knew you were a perfect Mom and a perfect wife? Yeah, right.
Eve: I'm sorry. I am sorry for my past. I'm sorry for trying to cover it up.
Whitney: Too little too late, Mom. Because of you and you alone, I'm pregnant with my half brother's baby.
Eve: Well, I can't change the past, Whitney, but I can try and make up for my mistakes if you will just let me help you, let Mommy help you through this. Honey, please. Please, I know that together we can solve any problems that the baby has.
Whitney: No, we canít. I'm going to have to manage this by myself because you're going to be in prison for the rest of your life.
Theresa: Ok. Do you see her? Do you see Jane?
Ethan: I don't see her.
Sam: Let's get a closer look. Hi. Excuse us.
Nurse: You people can't be in here. Only parents and staff are allowed contact with these babies.
Ethan: No --
Nurse: No, you have to leave before I call security.
Sam: Look, Harmony P.D., Chief Bennett, ok? This is my son Ethan and the mother of the baby, Theresa.
Theresa: Yes, Jane Winthrop. Have you seen her? It's our daughter. She's missing.
Nurse: This is the hospital nursery, not lost-and-found.
Ethan: Ma'am, we're aware of that.
Sam: Look, the baby was being discharged, ok? The attending nurse walked away for a moment. When she came back, the baby was gone. We thought she might have been brought in here by mistake.
Nurse: I'm sorry, chief, but there are no extra babies here.
Theresa: Well, then, where could she be?
Nurse: You could try pediatrics or the NICU.
Ethan: All right, we'll try that.
Sam: I'll call hospital security, ok, and they'll help us out. Let's go.
Theresa: All right, thank you. Let's go.
Rebecca: Gwen? Oh -- Gwennie? Where are you? Honey, honey, if you're hiding because you're embarrassed about the way you look, well, then don't be. I mean, these hospital lights are hard on everyone. Maybe she's in the ladies' room. Maybe -- where could she be? What did you do with my daughter?
Ofc. Baker: I didn't do anything.
Rebecca: Well, then, where is she?
Ofc. Baker: I don't know. When I go get a cup of coffee, she was right there.
Rebecca: Oh, my god! This is the second time you've lost her!
Ofc. Baker: Well, how was I to know she would get up and wander off? Dr. Russell said she was comatose.
Rebecca: Oh, the word is "catatonic," and obviously she isn't!
Ofc. Baker: Mrs. Crane, I'm sorry she's missing.
Rebecca: God, my baby! Oh, my poor baby! Ooh. Baby. Well -- oh -- baby -- oh, my god! Oh, I hope Gwen didn't take Theresaís baby.
["The four seasons" plays]
Gwen: Oh, Mama's baby likes classical music, doesn't she? Ashley, maybe one day when you grow up you'll play the violin or you'll study piano. Sweet girl.
Gwen: Oh, Mozartís 40th. Beautiful, isn't it? You know, sweetheart, there's even a story behind it. See, Mozart was locked in the closet, and no one would let him out. But you know who locked him in the closet? It was Salieri, without a doubt. Now, why did Salieri lock Mozart in the closet? You want to know why? Because Salieri was jealous of Mozart. He was jealous that Mozart came along and took everything away from Salieri. He was jealous. He was insanely jealous of Mozart, Ashley, just like Theresa is of me.
Martin: Sweetheart, I'm so glad you're awake.
Katherine: You gave us such a scare, darling.
Martin: Especially your mother. She's been by your side ever since you've been hurt.
Paloma: It was awful, worse than when Mr. Crane had me kidnapped in Mexico.
Katherine: I'm so sorry, Paloma. But we all know you're going to recover so quickly, darling. And your family loves you so much.
Paloma: I love you, too, tia, tu y papi.
Sheridan: I'm so sorry, Pilar.
Pilar: I can't take anymore.
Sheridan: Is there anything that I can do for you?
Pilar: Oh, god. Every time I hear Paloma talk to Katherine, knowing that she cares more about her than me, her own mother, it's like a knife in my heart.
Sheridan: I'm sure that Paloma will come around soon.
Pilar: God, I pray that she does, because I don't know how much more I can take.
Martin: I'll go get the doctor.
Pilar: You're a horrible woman. Not only did you abandon your daughter, but you stole my Paloma away from me, as well as her father, my husband. May god forgive me, but may you rot in hell for what you've done to me and my family.
Simone: I still can't believe one night out turned into such a mess.
Kay: This is all your fault.
Jessica: It is not. I didn't even go out with you all.
Ivy: No, Jessica. You snuck out of here all by yourself.
Jessica: Yeah. I was on my own. Nothing would have happened if you hadn't made such a stink when you bumped into me at the club.
Kay: Well, I wouldn't have got on your case if you weren't sucking face with that disgusting old man.
Jessica: He wasn't that old and he wasn't disgusting, or I wouldn't have been kissing him. Besides, everything was fine until you insisted we leave.
Kay: So it's my fault that Paloma got hurt?
Jessica: Oh, you heard her admit it.
Kay: I did not.
Jessica: But it's true, Kay. Everything was fine until you insisted we leave, and then the guy Paloma was with got mad at her and took it out on her.
Simone: How could any man do this to a woman? Especially someone we know?
Ivy: Women are battered every day, Simone. It's just a sad fact of life.
Kay: I just don't understand. You know, I really thought that Paloma could handle guys like that, that she could take care of herself.
Ivy: Well, maybe she could, up to tonight. I hope this was a wake-up call for you girls, you know? It's like I was saying earlier, sometimes people, adults as well as children, think they're invincible and they take chances with their lives that they just shouldn't -- like me, climbing that signal tower to help Sam fix it in the middle of Hurricane Peggy. And I'm struck by lightning and I was paralyzed. Well, maybe Paloma thought she could fend for herself, and now look what's happened to her. I just hope Luis can find whoever did this to her.
Luis: So you know a guy named Vic or Nick?
Man: No, I can't say as I do.
Luis: All right.
Ofc. Kirkman: Thanks for your time.
Luis: Excuse me. You know a guy named Vic or Nick? 5'10", 11", medium build, hazel eyes?
Ofc. Kirkman: Anybody around here look like that?
Man: No, no. But I think there's a Vic that works the nets sometimes over on Captain Arnoldís trawler. Over there.
Luis: All right, all right. Thanks for your help. Hey, excuse me. Are you Captain Arnold?
Cpt. Arnold: Yeah, that's me.
Luis: All right, well, detective Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald.
Cpt. Arnold: What can I do for you?
Luis: Oh, looking for a guy named Vic?
Cpt. Arnold: Yeah, I know him. Yeah, he works the nets for me sometimes. In fact, Vic is supposed to head out with me later tonight, but he's late. Probably out drinking, as usual.
Luis: Huh. Is that right?
Cpt. Arnold: Yeah.
Luis: Well, you see him, you tell him to give us a call, all right?
Cpt. Arnold: Yeah, sure. Well, speak of the devil, here he is. Hey, Vic, these two guys want to talk to you.
Ofc. Kirkman: Hey, Harmony P.D.! Stop! Luis, what the hell! Hey, we need to keep this clean. I got it.
Luis: You're under arrest for suspicion of aggravated felony assault and resisting arrest.
Vic: I didn't do anything.
Luis: Oh, yeah? You did plenty. That girl you attacked tonight? That's my baby sister. And if the system doesn't exact justice, I will.
Eve: I have hurt you so much. I wish you would let me help you now.
Whitney: Don't make promises you can't keep, Mom. You're going to prison. You're not going to be around to help me or the baby.
Eve: Oh, Whitney --
Whitney: I'll be able to handle whatever problems my baby is born with, and I will be a better Mother than you ever were.
Eve: God, I'm so sorry that this has turned out so badly. But I still want you to take care of yourself.
Whitney: I am.
Eve: Usually I have to caution my patients not to gain too much weight during a pregnancy, and I can tell that you haven't gained any at all. Are you just not eating?
Whitney: Yes, I'm eating.
Eve: Well, not enough.
Whitney: I've had morning sickness, and -- you know, I'm just nervous and my stomach is in knots all the time.
Eve: Hey, there's medicine for that, honey. There's medicine that will make you feel more like eating.
Whitney: I don't need your advice. I'm not stupid. Leave me alone.
Eve: I didn't say that you were.
Whitney: Ok, then leave me alone. God, I know what I'm doing.
Eve: Are you deliberately not eating?
Whitney: I'm going to get out of here. This is ridiculous.
Eve: That's it, isn't it? You are. You are -- you're trying to starve yourself and this baby.
Martin: Pilar, stop attacking Katherine. She's not to blame for any of this. I am.
Pilar: Please. I blame you both. Heaven knows there's enough blame to go around. You destroyed my life. You robbed my children of a carefree childhood. You let Sheridan and Julian grieve their own mother's death, a lie that Alistair used to torture poor Sheridan into thinking that she was responsible for your death. Oh, and it didn't end there, no. Your leaving Harmony left all of us at Alistairís mercy. And Julian -- he turned to drugs and alcohol in order to numb his pain while we were left in poverty. To think that I -- I sent my Paloma away so that she could have a better life than I could give her because of you two, and now she hates me and she loves you both. I curse you. I curse you both for what you've done to me and my family!
Luis: Come on. Let's go. Got the scum who attacked Paloma.
Ofc. Kirkman: You need to back off, sir, now!
Luis: Hey, take it easy. We're doing this one by the book. You hear me? I don't want some defense lawyer getting him off on a technicality. Now, as soon as Palomaís conscious, I'll have her I.D. the bastard.
Pilar: She's awake, mijo.
Luis: Good. Is she coherent?
Luis: Even better. Come on.
Luis: Paloma? God, you're awake.
Paloma: It was awful, Luis. A man attacked me.
Luis: You think if you saw that man again you'd be able to identify him?
Luis: Ok. Just give me a second, ok?
Luis: Paloma? Is this the guy that attacked you?
Paloma: No! Stop it! Don't do this!
Vic: We're just getting started. Relax, babe. I got just what you need.
Paloma: No, let me go! Let me go!
Vic: Not a chance! You asked for it! You got it!
Paloma: No! Oh! No! No! Llevatelo, Luis! Llevatelo! Llevatelo! Llevatelo!
Ethan: Sir, sir, excuse me. Have you seen a baby with a pink hat?
Theresa: A girl? She's wearing a sleeper.
Ethan: With a white sleeper?
Theresa: Flowers on it?
Man: No, I'm sorry.
Theresa: Excuse me, miss. We're looking for our baby. She's got a pink hat on. She's got a sleeper with flowers on it. Have you seen her?
Ethan: Have you seen a baby anywhere --
Woman: No, sorry. Good luck.
Sam: Any luck?
Theresa: Chief Bennett, no.
Ethan: No, no.
Theresa: Where could she be? Where's our baby?
Rebecca: Gwen, honey? Honey, if you're playing hide-and-seek, why don't you just hopscotch over to Mommy and -- oh, excuse me, excuse me. Have you seen my daughter? You know, she's tall, blond, pretty, slashed wrists, gray prison uniform?
Candystriper: No. Sorry.
Ofc. Baker: Headquarters, this is officer baker at Harmony hospital. The prisoner we transported for attempted suicide has escaped. I repeat, Gwen Winthrop has escaped. We're searching the hospital now.
Rebecca: Well, this is all your fault! I mean, if anything happens to Gwen, you are not going to enjoy what I'm going to do to you.
Ofc. Baker: Easy, Mrs. Crane. You said I looked good in my uniform.
Rebecca: Well, yeah, but --
Ofc. Baker: Just you wait till you see me out of it.
Rebecca: Oh -- no! No, no, no, no. You just stop trying to seduce me with those broad shoulders and big hands and -- no, my daughter is missing, and you were supposed to be watching her. Oh, I -- I take it you didn't find Theresaís spawn?
Sam: No, we didn't find my granddaughter. And I'm getting worried.
Ofc. Baker: I wonder if the kid being gone has anything to do with the missing prisoner.
Sam: "Missing prisoner?"
Ethan: You mean Gwen?
Theresa: Oh, my god.
Rebecca: I'm sure it's just a coincidence that Gwen and the baby are both unaccounted for.
Sam: This is the second time you lost the prisoner.
Rebecca: No, Gwen is not lost. Look, she's just been temporarily misplaced. I mean, maybe she went to go take a nap.
Ofc. Baker: She was comatose when I went to get a cup of coffee.
Rebecca: The word is "catatonic"!
Ofc. Baker: When I came back, she was gone.
Theresa: Both Gwen and the baby are missing. She must have taken the baby.
Sam: Yeah, this is Chief Bennett. I want a perimeter set up around the hospital. No one is allowed to leave. I repeat, no one is allowed to leave.
Kay: We don't need another lecture, Ivy, ok? We know we messed up tonight and Paloma paid the price.
Ivy: Actually, I wasn't going to lecture you. I remember what it's like to be young and impetuous and to make mistakes. The trick is to learn from those mistakes.
Ivy: It's better safe than sorry. I'll be in the kitchen if you guys need me.
Kay: I hope Paloma will be all right.
Jessica: Yeah, me, too.
Simone: I still can't believe what happened to her.
Kay: Well, we will definitely never do anything stupid like this again. We could end up like Paloma or worse.
Paloma: That's the man! That's the man who attacked me!
Luis: Now, Paloma, he will never hurt you again. All right, I promise. But I need to know one more thing.
Luis: When he attacked you, did he rape you?
Eve: That's it, isn't it? Oh. You think that if you starve yourself and something happens to the baby, then that could just be the best possible ending. Then you won't have to worry about having a baby with genetic defects and you won't have the heartache of raising a sick child or the stress of having such a big secret from Chad and Fox. Oh, honey. That's it, isn't it? You're trying to get rid of this baby.
Eve: Dr. Russell. Yeah -- yeah. I'll be right down. Whitney, we're going to have to talk about this some more, but that was security, and Sam doesn't want anybody to leave the hospital, and I have to go and find out why.
Sam: I need to coordinate my people with hospital security. You, come with me.
Eve: Security said that Sam ordered no one to leave the hospital. Why?
Theresa: Gwen kidnapped my baby, Dr. Russell!
Rebecca: No, no, we don't know that for sure.
Ethan: Look, the baby turned up missing when we were signing those insurance papers, and now Gwen is missing, too.
Rebecca: Look, maybe she just took the baby for a, you know, a rest, away from all the bright lights and screaming cripples and --
Theresa: Look, no one has seen Gwen, and no one has seen my child, either!
Eve: Is this true?
Ethan: We've looked everywhere. Gwen and the baby, we can't find them.
Theresa: That psycho has our daughter! Ethan, you find her and you get Jane back!
Gwen: Everything's going to be ok, my Ashley. Mama got you away from that Theresa. I mean, that is crazy that she thought that you were her baby, Jane. Don't you worry about that. There will be no more Theresa in our lives, nope. From now on, sweetheart, it's just you and your mommy, and we're going to be so happy. We're going to go far, far away. We're going to have our own life together, and no one's ever going to find us, and we're going to be so happy.
Sam: Did he rape you or not?
Sam: Did he rape you or not?
Luis: I just can't believe this is happening.
Sheridan: It's horrible.
Theresa: I know Gwen kidnapped by baby.
Rebecca: Gwennie, what have you done?
Gwen: No one's going to be able to find us, especially Theresa.
