(beginning got cut off)

We never did anything wrong. And you would never have moved on so quickly if it weren't for my backstabbing half brother, you --

paloma: Oh! I guess I picked a bad time to drop by.

Chad: I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I didn't hit you, did I?

Paloma: No, you missed. But I will leave.

Chad: No, no, no, don't go, don't go. I promise I won't throw anything else at you. But I can't vouch for what kind of company I'll be.

Paloma: Is it fox and whitney?

Chad: How'd you guess? You know, I still can't get over how my best friend-turned-half brother loused up my whole life.

Jessica: Hi, whitney.

Whitney: Oh. Hey, jessica. You scared me.

Jessica: Sorry. Don't you love this new cafe? I come every week. I meet my mark customers to give them their merchandise, then we drink coffee and gossip for hours. I've made so many new friends.

Whitney: Oh, wow, that sounds like fun.

Jessica: You ok?

Whitney: Oh, yeah, absolutely. Yeah.

Jessica: If you say so. You look a little stressed out. Here. Try this, on the house. It's a healthy shots facial kit, four different veggie facials. I love facials. They're so relaxing and they're really good for your skin.

Whitney: Thank you. This is really sweet. Thanks a lot.

Jessica: And, you know, if you ever want to talk --

whitney: Hey, no, no, I'm ok, really. Thank you.

Jessica: Ok, well, I mean it, anytime.

Whitney: Ok. I got to tell fox the truth. I have to tell him I'm pregnant with chad's baby.

Fox: You sure this is all you want, a cup of tea?

Whitney: Oh, yeah, I'm positive.

Fox: Yeah?

Whitney: Thank you, yeah.

Fox: All right. I got to tell you, I still can't get over my mother tonight, you know? First, she tells me to take you out to a nice dinner, and then she talks so much that we lose the reservation.

Whitney: Oh, really, it's fine. I'm not really that hungry anyway.

Fox: So before we left, you said you had something important to tell me, something that couldn't wait, so what is it?

Pilar: You feeling better, mija?

Theresa: Much better. Mama? I'm really sorry about how upset I got about papa earlier.

Pilar: Let's not discuss your father any more this evening, ok, hmm? The important thing tonight is those babies you're carrying. I know how devastating it must be for you to risk both their lives.

Theresa: Well, that's just it, mama. I know what the church teaches, but I can't do it. I've got to save one of these babies.

Pilar: Then you're --

theresa: Yes, mama. I'm going to lose one of the babies.

Sheridan: Ready to go? You know, I still can't believe my father's change of heart. I was so sure he was going to press charges against you, especially after having your bail revoked to get you back in jail.

Katherine: Something tells me alistair's not finished with me yet.

Sheridan: You could be right. Listen, you don't think he would do anything against mr. Wheeler to get back at you, do you?

Katherine: What? Why would you say such a thing?

Sheridan: I'm sure it's nothing, but just now I tried to call luis and mr. Wheeler at the cottage and there was no answer.

Katherine: Oh, sheridan, we have to go now. They could be in danger.

Luis: What is going on between you two?

Alistair: It's no wonder you were dismissed from the police department, luis. You don't have the instincts of a cop.

Luis: The hell I don'T. You know, we both know the only reason that I lost my job is because of you!

Alistair: Well, shall we call it a night and toddle off to beddy-byes?

Martin: You know, maybe we should get going.

Luis: No, no, no, I'm not going anywhere, ok? I don't know if you forgot, but the only reason I'm out here is so that you could show me something about my father's disappearance.

Martin: The gazebo's gone, luis.

Luis: Yeah, I can see that, ok? So why'd you take it down, huh? What was so incriminating out here that you had to erase all signs of it?

Alistair: I told you, I'm doing some landscaping.

Luis: Yeah. Right. I think mr. Wheeler here knows exactly what you're hiding. Now, since you can't show me, you might as well tell me. So what is it that alistair is hiding about my father's disappearance?

Singer: I would hold the hand of the one who could lead me places and kiss the lips of the one who could sing so sweet and i would fly on the wings of the bird I knew could take me highest breathe in, breathe out you keep me alive you are the fire burning inside of me you are my passion for life ld yourun next door

Narrator: The psychiatric pioneer, dr. Heinz lehmann, fled nazi germany in 1937. He began his career at montreal's douglas hospital.

Dr. Heinz lehmann: There was a student who went with me through the hospital. And he said do you think there will ever be a pill that we can give these people to free them from this terrible horror? Then a few months later, we had the pill.

Narrator: Dr. Lehmann was the first in north america to test new, french drugs on schizophrenics. The results were stunning. He could hardly believe it. But it was also dr. Lehmann's compassion that revolutionized psychiatric care.

Dr. Gorman hanrahan: He wanted --

Dr. Gorman hanrahan: The best for his patients. He was very caring.

Dr. Gorman hanrahan: He used to go around the hospital and he must shake hands 600 times a day.

[ Audience applauding ]

Dr. Heinz lehmann has an international reputation. He was at the forement of the movement that turned psychiatric hospitals into the treatment and rehabilitation centres that they are today.

[ Audience applauding ]

Narrator: A medical pioneer, dr. Lehmann brought compassion and relief to the mentally ill. He died in 1999.

Whitney: Well, it's about you and me, fox.

Fox: Well, good. I was actually kind of hoping you would say that.

Whitney: You know, there are some things about me that you don't know.

Fox: Yeah?

Whitney: Yeah.

Fox: I don't care.

Whitney: Excuse me?

Fox: Well, that's one of the fun things about starting a relationship, you know, getting to know the other person.

Whitney: Yeah, I understand that, but --

fox: You know, all my life I've heard people say that, you know, and honestly, I thought it was kind of stupid. But then I met you, and I got to tell you, all I want to do is spend the rest of my life, one day at a time, getting to know who whitney russell is. I'm not trying to rush you into anything.

Whitney: Well, we've already made love, so --

fox: Yeah, hey, hey. I wouldn't trade that for anything in the world. I mean, that doesn't mean that we have to rush into everything else in our relationship, you know? We can go at our own pace. But for now, I think I know everything I need to know about you. I think that you're absolutely gorgeous and you're honest. There's not a deceptive bone in your body. You're the kind of woman that I would want to spend the rest of my life with. What am I talking about? You are the woman that I want to spend the rest of my life with. You're also the woman I want to be the mother of my children.

Whitney: But --

fox: So what is this thing that you're -- this important thing that you keep bringing up that you need to tell me so bad you can't wait?

Paloma: So, there's nothing new between you and whitney?

Chad: You mean besides finding out that we're brother and sister right in the middle of planning our wedding? No, I can't think of anything. I'm sorry. Look, I'm not trying to be sarcastic with you.

Paloma: Oh, no, it's ok.

Chad: I'd just have a better shot at dealing with this revelation if the guy I thought was my best friend hadn't got down and dirty with whitney 10 minutes after we broke up.

Paloma: It wasn't 10 minutes.

Chad: Yeah, well, it felt like it. I mean, do you have any idea what it was like walking in on the two of them like that?

Paloma: It must have been awful.

Chad: Yeah. He might as well have stabbed a knife in my gut. It's not like he didn't know my whole sad story. Well, it's like I told you, you know, the reason why I came to harmony in the first place was to find my real parents.

Paloma: Yes, I know.

Chad: And I stopped thinking about that when I met whitney, fell in love with her. And then I find out that she and I share the same mother. Huh. So much for wanting to feel like a part of the family, right?

Paloma: That's how I feel, too. Now that I'm here in harmony with all of them, I don't know why I cared so much. My family says something to my face, but I know that they're feeling something else inside. For mama, luis, and theresa, I will always be the outsider. There's no place in my family for me, either.

Pilar: Theresa,

pero, no te entiendo. I thought you had already made up your mind.

Theresa: I did, mama, but I changed it. See, I realized I couldn't just sit back and do nothing. I have to save the life of one of my children.

Pilar: But the church, mija --

theresa: I know what the church teaches us, mom, but if I don't do this, then both these babies die. So I have to do whatever I can. I have to take whatever chance there is to save one of my babies.

Pilar: I -- I cannot condone this, theresa.

Theresa: Mama, if you can't, I can do this alone. I just wanted you to know why I need to do this.

Pilar: I wish I could support you.

Theresa: Mama, if you can't, can you just try to understand this -- that if I don't do it, I not only lose these two babies, I lose little ethan, too, and I can't deal with that. Mama, miguel is gone, antonio is dead, and, no matter what you say, papa's not coming back. I just can't take any more loss.

Alistair: Go ahead, mr. Wheeler. Luis has asked you a question. I'd love to hear the answer myself.

Martin: You can tear down the gazebo, dig up the ground, take it all away, but that won't stop the truth from coming out.

Alistair: Yes, it will.

Martin: I still know what happened. I can divulge it.

Alistair: Go ahead. Tell someone. Tell anyone. Tell everyone. It's your future you'll be putting on the line, not mine.

Martin: You're wrong. It's both our futures. We're in this together.

Alistair: You have no proof of that. It's gone. It's disappeared. But if you still feel the need to step forward as a good citizen, feel free. Tell luis you're his father. Tell him the real reason why you left harmony. I'll enjoy sitting back and watching that information destroy both your lives.

Luis: Mr. Wheeler? Mr. Wheeler! I need you to tell me everything that you know about my father and this gazebo that was here all these years, ok? Do you hear me?

Martin: Luis --

sheridan: Oh, my goodness!

Katherine: Alistair.

Sheridan: What happened to the gazebo?

Luis: Your father claims he was doing a little re-landscaping.

Katherine: Are you all right?

Martin: Yeah, of course. I thought you'd have to spend the night in jail.

Katherine: Apparently, someone had the charges dropped against me.

Martin: You did that? Why? What made you change your mind?

Alistair: As you can see, I'm recovering quite nicely from the gunshot wound. I saw no point in pressing attempted murder charges. If indeed that's what mrs. Wheeler intended, she didn't do a very adequate job of it.

Sheridan: I don't buy your explanation, father. I've never known you to let any slight against you go unpunished, no matter how insignificant.

Alistair: You wound me to the quick, my dear. Contrary to popular opinion, your father does have a heart. I should think that mrs. Wheeler's presence here would be proof of that. I simply decided to let bygones be bygones. Let's let all that unpleasantness of the past remain behind us for all of our sakes, hmm?

Luis: Yeah.

Whitney: You don't understand. What I have to tell you -- it's important and it affects us.

Fox: Ok. Well, lay it on me. Whitney, come on, it's not like anything you're going to tell me is going to change my opinion of you. I told you I love you. I mean it. Honest to god, I mean it. I love you.

Whitney: Uh -- ok. It's just -- you know what? It has to do with what your mother -- what she was saying to me before.

Fox: Oh. Oh, you mean about her giving you the third degree about your intentions towards me? Is that what you're talking about? Don't give it another thought.

Whitney: Well, she seems so suspicious of my motives.

Fox: Well, I mean, come on, look who we're talking about here, whitney. We're talking about the former ivy crane. My mother's not exactly the poster child for good relationships, you know? I mean, I don't know, look, the way I see it, she feels guilty about all those years of neglect towards me and now she's trying to make up for it by being overprotective, that's all.

Whitney: Yeah, I understand that, but what she's saying, I mean, it makes sense. One minute, I'm about to marry chad, and then I come to find out that I can't have a future with him, and now all of a sudden I'm with you, you know? I mean, I can understand why she would be concerned.

Fox: Yeah, I mean, I guess, you know, if you weren't aware of how long I've been in love with you. But you yourself said that your feelings for me weren't -- weren't exactly new.

Whitney: No. No, they weren't new at all. And that's exactly what I told your mother when you left the room. I told her that they weren't new and that what I felt for you was real and that I didn't want to lose you.

Fox: Whitney, hey, listen to me when I tell you this, ok? I meant what I said before. I really do love you, ok? You're never going to lose me. Nothing in the world could make you lose me.

Whitney: You know, I want to believe you.

Fox: Well, then believe me, ok? Hey, believe me, nothing that you say or do could change my opinion of you, ever.

Paloma: At least if I had stayed in mexico, I could still pretend to myself that my family missed me and loved me.

Chad: What makes you so sure they don't? Look, I know your mother and theresa pretty well, and your brother miguel was one of my first friends in this town.

Paloma: I know they seem really nice to other people, and they would never act as if they are not happy to see me.

Chad: Yet you don't buy it?

Paloma: No. They don't care about me. They don't spend time with me to find out who I am.

Chad: Maybe you should cut them a little slack. You know, your family's going through a lot right now.

Paloma: They haven't seen me since I was a baby. You would think they would put other things aside, but --

chad: You know, maybe they would if they could. But, you know, your mother's been sick, and theresa's in the hospital now.

Paloma: There will always be something going on with them that will come before me. And that's why I came here tonight -- to say goodbye.

Chad: Goodbye?

Paloma: Yes. I'm leaving harmony for good, as soon as I can. restru cha you did with eryone. Money, money, money

singer: You are my passion for life

whitney: There are some things about me you don't know.

Fox: Yeah, well, you know, it goes both ways. Whitney, we both have a lot to figure out about each other. Take me for instance, ok? I went from being the playboy in the family to crashing at my mother's boyfriend's house, essentially overnight. I went from being next in line to inherit everything at crane industries to last in line at the unemployment office. I don't know what the hell it is I'm getting at here. I guess it's just that, look, I basically went from a have-it-all, know-it-all to your basic everyday nobody.

Whitney: I don't care about money or status, fox.

Fox: You know, that's one of the things I love about you the most.

Whitney: You want to know one of the things I love about you?

Fox: Yeah.

Whitney: Your ability to take risks, things that you've never done before. I mean, the way you open yourself up, the way you open yourself up to me, you know?

Fox: Hey. It's ok. You really do love me, don't you? You're not on the rebound from chad at all.

Whitney: Uh-uh. Listen, no matter what happens, I just want you to remember that my feelings for you are real and I wouldn't want to hurt you for anything in the world, ok?

Fox: God, I mean, you kind of make it sound like there's something that's going to come crashing down over our heads. You got to talk to me. What are you so afraid of?

Chad: You're leaving harmony? You just got here a few weeks ago.

Paloma: Just long enough to see what my life will be like if I stay.

Chad: Come on, paloma, you haven't even given harmony a chance, not to mention your family.

Paloma: What good will more time do? I've been here long enough to see how little my family cares about me. What I don't understand is, what are you doing staying here?

Chad: Well, haven't you heard? I got a bigtime job starting at crane industries.

Paloma: Which you only accepted to get revenge on fox.

Chad: Yeah, well, whatever works. Look, you know, the truth is I don't know what I'm doing here, either. There's even less here for me than there is for you.

Paloma: Do you mean that?

Chad: Yeah. You know, without whitney, you know, nothing means anything anymore.

Paloma: Then why are you still here?

Chad: Say what?

Paloma: If you're not happy in harmony, why are you staying here? You could leave, too, with me. We can leave harmony together.

Pilar: Mi nina, nobody knows how much you've lost in your short lifetime.

Theresa: Then don't make me feel worse about my decision.

Pilar: I'm not trying to, theresa, but I just -- I cannot sit here and lie to you and tell you that I agree with this decision of yours.

Theresa: Mama, I'm trying to save the life of another one of your grandchildren.

Pilar: I only hope that god sees it that way. In any case, I will be here for you.

Theresa: It's not what I want to do, mama, but it's the only thing I can do. I mean, I can't bear the loss of anyone else.

Pilar: This won't bring back your father or antonio.

Theresa: It may bring back ethan. I mean, it will bring back little ethan.

Pilar: No. No, that's not what you meant. You still think that ethan will leave gwen and come back to you. That is what your plan is, isn't it?

Katherine: Why did he tear down the gazebo?

Martin: He's afraid of me, that's why. I brought luis out here in hope that I could explain everything to him tonight.

Katherine: You were going to tell luis that you're his father?

Martin: Yeah, and try to show him why I left the family without ever contacting them.

Katherine: Martin, I can't believe it. I was going to tell sheridan tonight that I'm her mother.

Martin: So what stopped you?

Katherine: Well, being released so quickly from jail.

Martin: Maybe it's not too late. Maybe we can still tell them tonight.

Katherine: Let's tell them together.

Sheridan: I don't understand. I mean, is my father really claiming that he took the gazebo down just to re-landscape?

Luis: That's his story.

Sheridan: Yeah, but there are acres and acres of land on this estate. Why would he tear down one of my favorite places?

Luis: I don't know. Did you know that mr. Wheeler knew my father years ago?

Sheridan: You're kidding.

Luis: No. There's something else. Apparently, my father's still alive.

Sheridan: That's amazing.

Luis: Yeah.

Sheridan: Mrs. Wheeler, she told me tonight that she actually knew my mother. She told me these incredible stories about her, things that I never knew or just forgot because I was so young.

Luis: That's great.

Sheridan: Yeah. She was every bit the saint that I remember her being -- kind, generous, gentle, just the way I've always seen her in my mind's eye.

Luis: That explains why you and I felt such a connection to the wheelers when we first them. They knew our parents.

Sheridan: Do you think this has something to do with why my father dropped the charges against mrs. Wheeler?

Luis: Maybe.

Katherine: Could we find someplace quiet or private to talk together?

Sheridan: That would be great. I can't wait to hear more about my mother.

Luis: Yeah. And you could tell me more about my father.

Sheridan: We're desperate to find out whatever we can.

Alistair: Yes, by all means, do tell. But there's no point in running off. I mean, I would love to hear all about katherine and martin myself.

After the chad fiasco last time: We've made great, great strides since 2000. That said, early voting overseas should be squeaky clean. The overseas voting is a shambles. Early voting, early irregularities. It's on "global national" with kevin newman.

Pilar: Por la amor de dios, theresa, please tell me that you are not playing with your babies' lives in order to get back together with ethan!

Theresa: Mama, I didn't mean for it to come out like that.

Pilar: When, just when -- when will you ever learn? When will it sink in that scheming and manipulating never work out, theresa? Ethan is with gwen now. He will never be with you!

Theresa: But, mama, please, if you could just listen to me --

pilar: No, theresa! No, I've heard enough!

Theresa: Please let me explain! Ok, ethan just told me that the only reason he married gwen was because she was pregnant.

Pilar: That is not news!

Theresa: I know, mama, but ethan just told me now. He said that he only married gwen because she was pregnant, and see, this changes everything.

Pilar: I don't see how. I'm warning you, theresa, do not go down this road because nothing good can possibly come from it!

Theresa: But, mama, don't you see? Ethan only married gwen because she was the mother of his child. Now, I'm pregnant with his baby.

Pilar: You are not 100% sure of that.

Theresa: No, I am, mama. I can feel it. I know at least one of these babies is mine by ethan. I'm going to have a baby by the man I have always loved.

Pilar: Or you are going to give birth to ethan and gwen's baby. And when that child is born, ethan will never leave his wife, so you get this wild, outlandish idea just right out of your head!

Alistair: Go ahead, mr. And mrs. Wheeler. Don't keep sheridan and luis in suspense about their mother and father. Tell us all what you know.

Sheridan: Please, I want to know everything. It means so much to me to, you know, sort of get to know her, even though she's been dead for so long now.

Luis: Please, mrs. Wheeler, sheridan's already suffered so many years without her mother, ok? Now, come on, this could really help her.

Alistair: Maybe you should go first, martin. I wonder what luis will say when he learns who you really are to him. But then you have no proof, have you, without the gazebo?

Katherine: Sheridan, I don't think I have anything more to say.

Sheridan: Anything would be so welcome.

Alistair: Well?

Martin: Sheridan, luis, I'm sorry, we have nothing further to tell you.

Fox: Whitney, what are you so worried about, huh? What are you afraid's going to happen if I know everything there is to know about you?

[Whitney sighs]

Whitney: You know what? After everything that's happened with my mom and chad, I don't know if I even believe in this whole unconditional love thing anymore. God, I'm scared.

Fox: Well, look, I -- whitney, you have every right to be scared, ok? With everything that's happened to you? I don't know what else to do. All I can do is sit here and just keep telling you over and over and over again that I love you, that things are going to be different with me. I'm not going anywhere, ok? I'm going to stick by you through thick and thin, good times and bad. You can count on me.

Whitney: I want to believe that so badly.

Fox: Well, then do, because I couldn't love you any more if I tried.

Whitney: I love you, too, fox.

Fox: Then I don't know what you're so worried about.

Fox: Look, I hate to break it to you, but you're never getting rid of me. Never.

Whitney's voice: I hope you mean that, fox.

Paloma: Why not leave harmony with me? We will have an adventure together.

Chad: You know, no can do. Not yet, anyway.

Paloma: Why not?

Chad: Well, because if I split now, I'll be running away, you know, and I've got some things to sort out with my life first.

Paloma: Even though it can't be with whitney?

Chad: Yeah, well, like it or not, my parents are here, and I promised julian, my father, that I would give the family business a crack. You know, and, well, who knows, maybe I'll like being a crane mogul.

Paloma: You?

Chad: Hey, come on, stranger things have happened, right?

Paloma: Well, I guess we are not as alike as I thought.

Chad: Oh, and what makes you say that?

Paloma: Because if I were you, I would leave.

Chad: No, no, no, I'm not so sure about that. In fact, I don't think you're ready to leave harmony, either, not yet. No, you think cutting and running will just save you from feeling any more hurt.

Paloma: You make me sound like such a coward.

Chad: Well, maybe we both are. That's why our instincts are to run. You know, that's what I've always done in the past.

Paloma: Then why not this time?

Chad: I don't know. I don't know. You know, maybe I've grown up. But I want to do things differently this time, and I think you feel the same way. So, paloma, no, it's not time for you to cut and run. You got way too much to resolve with your family first.

Paloma: But they don't care about --

chad: No, all I'm saying is if you leave now, you're going to take yourself and all this baggage with you. So my advice to you is to stay here and stick it out, you know, figure things out. And then if you want to go, go, good luck. But at least you'll know you gave it a decent try.

Pilar: You promise me something. You promise me that you will stop fantasizing about being with ethan ever again. He's married to gwen now, and he's going to stay married to her, especially once that baby that you are carrying is born.

Theresa: But, mama --

pilar: Theresa. Now, I know that you've been plotting to keep both babies from ethan and gwen, but at least one of these babies is their biological child, and they will fight you for custody, theresa, and they have every right to win. And, theresa, this baby will bond them even closer than they already are. Oh, god. What are you planning to do now?

Theresa: They're not going to get any closer, mama. They're not going to have a baby of their own. 60 years ago. Clark

sheridan: Wait a minute. What does he mean? You said you had so much more to tell me about my mother.

Katherine: I'm sorry, sheridan, I --

luis: Wait, what is going on here? You know, you dragged me out here not even an hour ago to drop some bombshell about my father, and, what, now you've got nothing more to say?

Alistair: That's quite a turnabout, I'd say.

Martin: I'm sorry.

Luis: You're sorry? Let me tell you something, "sorry" doesn't cut it, not from you or you! I mean, you got sheridan's hopes up about her mother. And you? Huh? All this stuff about my father, were you lying before about even knowing him?

Martin: I didn't mean to mislead you, and I'm sure that my wife didn't mean to get your hopes up.

Sheridan: Well, this doesn't make any sense! Is it that you don't know anything about our parents or you just won't tell us?

Luis: Look, just stop lying to us, ok? Look, sheridan and I, we want to know the truth no matter what it is.

Martin: I can't help you, luis.

Luis: Why not?

Martin: Too many people would be hurt! Trust me.

Luis: Trust you? Huh. Yeah. Yeah, I don't think so, not after tonight.

Sheridan: Please, mrs. Wheeler, you said that you knew more about my mother. Now, don't keep that from me!

Katherine: Sheridan, my husband is right. We've said enough. The past needs to stay in the past.

Sheridan: No, no, see, this is not the past for me. This is my present. This is my future. My mother is all that I think about!

Luis: Forget it, sheridan.

Sheridan: Well --

luis: Just forget it. They're not going to say anything. They're just cowards. Let's go.

Katherine: I wanted -- I wanted to tell her so much.

Martin: I know, I know. So do I. You despicable monster.

Alistair: You made the right decision, martin. If sheridan and luis found out who the two of you really are, they'd hate you for the rest of their lives. They'd never forgive you for leaving them all those years ago.

Katherine: Maybe he's right, martin.

Alistair: Of course I'm right. The two of you should never have come back here. I tried to tell you, but you wouldn't heed my warnings. You should've stayed dead forever.

Fox: Oh. Oh.

Fox: It's, you know, not exactly my suite at the family mansion, but, you know, I guess it'll have to do, right?

Whitney: Yeah, I mean, wasn't that great of chief bennett to let you stay here?

Fox: Yeah. Yeah, no, you know, he's only doing it because of my mother, but I'm not complaining. Just it's kind of weird staying here, you know?

Whitney: Well, you know what? You'll get used to it.

Fox: I think maybe I will, as long as you're here with me.

Whitney: What?

Fox: Well, I don't know, just, you know, kissing you like that whenever I feel like it -- it's like a dream come true for me, you know? Remember that night in L.A. On the beach?

Whitney: Yeah.

Fox: Yeah?

Whitney: When we were dancing?

Fox: Yeah, I think about that all the time. Remember when we were dancing and then you kissed me and you said you got caught up in the moment and you thought I was chad?

Whitney: Yeah. Well, that wasn't true. I knew I was kissing you. All those times you got mixed signals from me, you weren't wrong. I was falling in love with you.

Fox: I wish I would've told you back then how I felt about you. Maybe things would've turned out differently, you know?

Whitney: How?

Fox: Well, just, I mean, if I would've told you how I felt about you, maybe I could've spared you some of that grief that you went through with chad, you know? Maybe things wouldn't have gone that far.

Whitney: Yeah. I wish that, too, more than you know.

Chad: Look, all I'm saying is, you know, maybe you should tough it out here a little while longer, give yourself a chance to find out who your family really is, how they really feel. Hey, you came here looking for something just like I did. Don't leave here without finding it.

Paloma: Maybe I'll stay.

Chad: Good.

Paloma: But not for the reason you say. I will stay because this town could use a little excitement.

Chad: All right.

Pilar: Of course ethan and gwen will become closer when their baby is born. All parents do.

Theresa: Mama, you're assuming that their baby will come into this world.

Pilar: Wait. Theresa, but you are carrying twins, and it's very likely that one of these babies is theirs.

Theresa: Mama, dr. Russell said that I could only carry one of these babies to term --

pilar: Ay, mijo.

Theresa: That the other one won't make it. Unfortunately, that's going to be the one that ethan fathered with gwen, not the one he made with me.

Luis: With any luck, we should know who the wheelers really are before sunset.

Martin: Well, maybe our wish will come true. Maybe luis will discover our true identities.

Theresa: When I have the procedure done, I need you to make sure that you save my baby with ethan.
