Passions Transcript Tuesday 6/15/04
irma: Why are you bringing me over here? I thought you were taking me out for a walk.
Liz: Well, let's just visit some more, ok? Oh, I am so happy to finally have the privilege of meeting you, aunt irma.
Irma: I'm your aunt, you say?
Liz: Yeah, I'm liz, eve's half sister.
Irma: Eve, that whore! That slut!
Liz: Yeah, that's eve.
Irma: I thought you looked familiar. Are you a whore, too?
Liz: No, no, aunt irma. I own a jazz club.
Irma: Liar! I know who you are. You're that woman that married my brother.
Liz: You think I'm ruby? No, I'm liz.
Irma: Get away from me, ruby! Go on with your heathen daughter eve!
Kay: God, please don't do this to me. Please don't make it so that I can't have any more children. Please.
Eve: Kay, I'm so sorry. But the test results do show that you won't be able to conceive again. That rod going through you that way did so much internal damage, it's a wonder that you're even alive. Try and take comfort in that.
Kay: But all I ever wanted was a house full of children, to give maria little brothers and sisters. And now that's not going to happen? My dream of having this big family will never come true.
Miguel: I'm so sorry, kay.
Kay: No, you're not, miguel! You never forgave me for getting pregnant with maria. You must be thrilled that I can't get pregnant again.
Charity: Kay must be upset. I wonder what's wrong.
Tabitha: I don't know. But I'll wager you had something do to with kay's woe.
Ivy: What am I going to do? If sam finds out how I tpepedoed his marriage by bringing david to town to pretend to be grace's first husband, he'll never forgive me. I'll lose sam again with no hope of ever getting him back. Damn that liz, being so determined to reveal eve's past with julian. If eve goes down, then she's going to take me down with her. And I would rather die than live without sam. Oh -- oh!
Sheridan: Oh, luis, it's you! I remember it's you that I love!
Luis: My god. I can't believe I'm finally hearing this after everything I did to try and get you to remember. You finally remember.
Luis: You still love me.
Sheridan: Yes, I still love you.
Luis: I love you, too. I love you with all my heart.
Hank: Antonio, no.
Antonio: You know what? You better get your hands off my wife.
Singer: I would hold the hand oththe one who could lead me places and kiss the lips of the one who could sing so sweet and i would fly on the wings of the bird I knew could take me highest breathe in, breathe out you keep me alive you are the fire burning inside of me you are my passion for life
exhausted to the extreme?
Narrator: The psychiatric pioneer, dr. Heinz lehmann, fled nazi germany in 1937. He began his career at montreal's douglas hospital.
Dr. Heinz lehmann: There was a student who went with me through the hospital. And he said do you think there will ever be a pill that we can give these people to free them from this terrible horror? Then a few months later, we had the pill.
Narrator: Dr. Lehmann was the first in north america to test new, french drugs on schizophrenics. The results were stunning. He could hardly believe it. But it was also dr. Lehmann's compassion that revolutionized psychiatric care.
Dr. Gorman hanrahan: He wanted --
Dr. Gorman hanrahan: The best for his patients. He was very caring.
Dr. Gorman hanrahan: He used to go around the hospital and hehe must shake hands 600 times a day.
[ Audience applauding ]
Dr. Heinz lehmann has an international reputation. He was at the forement of the movement that turned psychiatric hospitals into the treatment and rehabilitation centres that they are today.
[ Audience applauding ]
Narrator: A medical pioneer, dr. Lehmann brought compassion and relief to the mentally ill. He died in 1999.
Irma: How could you leave my brother?
Liz: I'm not your brother's wife, ruby. I'm your niece, liz.
Irma: Who are you trying to fool, fool?
Molly: Oh, what happened, liz? Did you say another "oopsy" to set irma off?
Irma: It's aunt irma to you! And where'd you hide my teeth?
Molly: Oh, aunt irma, they're in your mouth.
Irma: See how sneaky she is?
Molly: That is not true, aunt irma!
Irma: I'd never think to look there.
Molly: You're going to have to excuse aunt irma. She has an arterial flow problem and --
irma: That's right, tell strangers I'm incontinent. Huh.
Molly: She has moments of dementia when something upsets her, which is pretty much anything. So I'm going to take her back to her room and give her nap time pill.
Irma: That's right, knock me out and rob me blind!
Liz: No. Molly, wait. Just give us a few more minutes. You know, we were just starting to chat. She simply got me confused with my mother.
Irma: I did?
Liz: We just need a few more minutes, and I'm sure we'll get along just fine.
Irma: You heard the nice lady. Now, leave us be! Go steal from mrs. Gruskin. Kill her for all I care! She cheated at bingo.
Molly: Now, aunt irma, if you promise to behave yourself, I will leave you here with your guest. It's a very good thing for her to see a new face. You know, usually the only other visitor she has is her niece eve.
Irma: Oh, that slut! That whore!
Molly: Oh, please, try not to set her off any more than usual. It upsets the other patients.
Liz: I'll try my best.
Irma: Why are you still here when there are people with hips to break? Go on! Shoo!
Molly: You know aunt irma tends to live in the past. And like other older people, her memories are kinder to her than her present condition. And I think if you keep that in mind, it will be helpful to you.
Liz: Thank you.
Irma: Run, woman, before I run you over!
Liz: So, you think I'm ruby, huh?
Irma: Well, of course you are. My brother called you his little gem. Ha! You caused my brother nothing but heartache -- you and that slut you call a daughter.
Liz: You mean eve?
Irma: Who else? That girl broke my heart. I used to babysit her way back when. I used to call her my little angel till she turned 18 and turned into a drugged-out whore.
Liz: Yes. That's eve to a T.
Kay: I know that you don't care if I can have more children or not. You didn't want me to have maria.
Miguel: Kay, that's not true.
Kay: Yes, it is. You hated it when I got pregnant. You tried to blame evil for making you sleep with me in the first place.
Miguel: I thought that you were charity.
Kay: Thanks for proving my point. You never wanted to be with me, much less have me have your baby. All you ever wanted was to be with charity!
Miguel: It's true, ok, that I was upset when I first found out that you were pregnant. You know, we weren't married. We weren't even dating. And we certainly weren't planning on having a child together. But once I accepted the situation for what it was and maria was born, I have been there for you and our daughter all the way.
Kay: Yeah, grudgingly.
Miguel: That's not true, and you know it.
Kay: What I know is that all you care about is your precious charity. It's because of her that you almost killed me!
Miguel: It was an accident, kay. I would never deliberately do anything to hurt you.
Eve: Kay, you knomimiguel would never hurt you.
Kay: Oh, he's hurt me more times than I can count. Always putting charity ahead of maria and me.
Miguel: I don't do that.
Kay: Yes, you do. If charity had gotten gored and was lying here, unable to have children, you would be in that chapel on your knees begging god to fix things! But because it's me who can't have kids, you don't care. In fact, you're probably relieved. You don't have to worry that evil will use you to knock me up again.
Miguel: Kay, I am not happy that you can't have any more children. I hate that this has happened to you.
Kay: Yeah, well, I hate you, miguel, and I hate charity even more!
Tabitha: I think I heard kay say she hates you. Not that I blame her. You've caused your cousin so much grief since you left your poor, charred mother in the burned-out ruins of your once happy home and came to live in harmony. Kay and miguel -- they were always so close. Best friends since childhood. They played sports together, they did homework together. Kay anmimiguel, miguel and kay. Everyone thought they'd end up together, me included. And in fact, they probably would be married by now if you hadn't come to town. In a way, it would be better if you'd died in that awful fire along with your mother. It would have saved charity and miguel a whole lot of pain.
Julian: Are you sure you're all right?
Ivy: Yes, I -- I think so. My purse got caught. I almost fell into the -- I was almost killed. Thank you for saving me, julian.
Julian: Well, I was glad that I could be of some help.
Ivy: Julian, it's me, ivy.
Julian: I know, my dear. I'd recognize that tart tone anywhere.
Ivy: I didn't meant that exactly the way it sounded.
Julian: Oh, but you're just used to me treating you with nothing but loathing and contempt.
Ivy: Yes, I am.
Julian: May I get you a latte? Perhaps you'd like a nip from my flask to soothe your nerves after almost taking the plunge.
Ivy: Well -- ok, thank you for offering, but --
julian: But what?
Ivy: Why are you being nice to me?
Julian: We were married for over 25 years. We have three children together. And believe it or not, I do care what happens to you.
Ivy: I don't believe it.
Julian: I'll be on my way.
Ivy: No, julian. No, I'm sorry, you misunderstood. What I mean is, I can't believe how much you've changed. I mean, you're almost human.
Julian: That's high praise coming from you.
Ivy: I'm sorry. I'm sorry, you're right. You're being nice, and I'm just being crabby. It's just -- my life has been a bit of a mess lately.
Julian: Join the club.
Ivy: Oh, yeah. Eve?
Julian: Uh-huh. Sam?
Sam: What's going on here?
Hank: Antonio, back off. This is a court of law.
Antonio: Well, you know what? Then I want some justice.
Luis: Well, go ahead. Because I understand. Losing sheridan -- that's punishment enough for any man.
Antonio: I'll be damned before I lose sheridan to you.
Sheridan: Antonio, stop this, all right? Violence isn't going to change how I feel about luis.
Sam: Wait a -- did I miss something? Why are you defending luis?
Luis: Sheridan remembered she loves me.
Sam: You did?
Sheridan: Just now, after the hearing, it all came back to me.
Sam: That's great, I guess.
Antonio: You know what? This is crazy. How manyimimes do we have to go through this?
Pilar: Mijo, please --
antonio: Back and forth! One minute sheridan loves me, then she loves luis. One minute sheridan loves me again, and then she loves luis!
Luis: She never stopped loving me.
Antonio: Well, you know what? All you did was confuse her after you held her captive on that island, after you kidnapped her. That's what it is.
Sheridan: No. Antonio, no, this is not your brother's fault. All right, this is mine. I know now that I love luis. I -- I always have. I never stopped. It -- it's just that I didn't remember until a few minutes ago, but I am sure this time. And I am so sorry, but I want to spend the rest of my life with luis.
sheridan: I'm sorry, antonio. I know that this must hurt you. But I remembered that I love luis, and I never stopped.
Antonio: Well, how? Why?
Sheridan: I don't know. It's like a light switch went off in my head. I had had feelings before, a sense that our being together wasn't right. But then they'd just go away. And last night after we went to bed, I could not stop thinking about luis and the love that we shared. And then today, hearing him say how much he loved me -- it just triggered something, and I remembered that I love him, too. I'm sorry, antonio. I love luis with all my heart. He's my soul mate. He always has been and he always will be.
Ivy: I'd seen a change in you. But to see you like this -- decent and caring -- I'm sorry, it's nothing short of miraculous.
Julian: Well, it's become clear to me that until quite recently, my life was an abomination. My behavior -- not just the way I treated you during our -- our marriage. What I put you through -- denying you any comfort or warmth. Throwing my affairs in your face, the rages -- the fact that you did not shoot me is a total surprise. I mean, I certainly deserved it.
Ivy: Yes. But I wasn't exactly easy to live with either.
Julian: No. No, you hated me, and for good reason. Ivy, I'm sorry. I'm sorry for the pain that I put you through.
Ivy: I believe you, julian. You've changed --
Ivy: Fundamentally and for the better. And it's because of eve, isn't it?
Julian: Well, I'll tell you, she makes me want to be a better person. She reminds me of what I used to be like before I let being a crane take over my life. I have father to thank for that. The hatred I felt toward him when he destroyed my happiness with eve -- I -- I think I took that out on you because I was too weak and pathetic to stand up to the old man.
Ivy: Well, your -- your father and my father betrayed me, as well. Forced me to marry you, cost me sam, and -- and when I learned the truth, I -- I took my anger out on you.
Julian: It's a pity it's taken us a mere quarter century to see the truth. But I have learned -- and I think you have -- that love, true love, is more important than anything else.
Ivy: The love I have for sam and the love you have for eve.
Singer: You are my passion for life
liz: You're right, aunt irma. Eve turned out to be a very bad girl.
Irma: Ruby left my brother. Broke his heart. I swear, it killed him. Ruby ought to be ashamed of herself.
Liz: Well, I'm sure ruby has regrets. But, aunt irma, I'd love to hear more about eve.
Irma: That harlot! Oh -- is it time for "days of our lives"? Jennifer's new boyfriend makes my toes curl! Ooh, that is one good-looking white man. Oh!
Liz: About eve, though. You know, I haven't seen her in such a long time. Have you?
Irma: No. She used to visit sometimes, but not anymore. She just locked me up in here and threw away the key. Selfish slut. I hate her for what she's done to me.
Liz: I hate her, too, aunt irma. I hate eve with a passion.
Eve: Kay doesn't hate you, miguel. She's just upset because she can't have any more children.
Kay: I may be barren now, but I'm not deaf. And I'm not just venting. I meant every word I said. I hateouou, miguel, and I hate charity even more. Ever since she came to this town, she's caused me nothing but grief. First, my mom. She made me give up my room for my poor, orphaned cousin. And then she just started taking her side over mine about everything, even you two being a couple. You know, forget that you said that we would have been together if you'd never met charity.
Miguel: But I did meet charity, kay.
Kay: Yeah. Yeah, you met her. And I had to stand by and watch while she just stole you away from me!
Charity: I've tried not to get in the way of miguel and kay, tabitha. But he won't give up on us. He keeps trying to convince me that he can be a father to maria and be with me at the same time.
Tabitha: Well, miguel's a man. They always want to have their cake and eat it, too. And here you are, making him hungry for more.
Charity: I told him last night that we wouldn't see each other anymore, tabitha.
Tabitha: Yes, for the umpteenth bloody time.
Charity: Well, I meant it that time.
Tabitha: Then what are you still doing here, charity? You said you wanted to come and see if your cousin was all right after she was almost disemboweled because of you. And, thankfully, she is on the mend. So, why are you still here? Why don't you just leave, leave, leave? Leave miguel alone!
Sheridan: I am so sorry. I never meant to hurt you or luis. I never meant for any of this to happen, but it did.
Pilar: Mijo --
pilar: Por favor, antonio,
esta bueno. There's been enough pain and turmoil already. Sheridan says she remembers her love for luis. Just accept what she says as fact and just bow out graciously.
Antonio: There you go again, defending luis.
Pilar: No. I'm just urging you to respect sheridan's wishes.
Antonio: Mama, don't sugarcoat this. You've always taken luis' side when it came to sheridan.
Pilar: If it seems that way, it's because they have been in love long before sheridan was lost at sea and had amnesia and came to fall in love with you. And everyone here knows that. Antonio, look, the kind of love that sheridan and luis share -- it goes on forever it never dies. And it kills me that you are in so much pain. But you have to accept the fact that they are in love and they always will be.
Antonio: I will never accept sheridan with luis.
Luis: I'm so happy.
Sheridan: Me, too. I'm so sorry it took me so long to remember.
Luis: I knew you'd remember sooner or later. Sooner would have been better, but it was worth the wait.
Sheridan: I just think -- I feel so bad that I've hurt poor antonio again.
Luis: Yeah, well, I know howt t feels to lose you. Rips your heart in two. Makes you crazy.
[Woody blows his nose]
Woody: Oh, man. You guys going to make a grown man cry. Look, let me be the first to -- to offer my heartfelt congratulations on the -- on the revitalization and the rekindlization of your legendary love. Did I mention that I do book deals and tv movies? You guys could be the next nick lachey and jessica simpson. For real.
Sheridan: Thanks, woody, but we don't want fame. We just want each other.
Woody: You sure? Ok, we'll do lunch. Don't worry about that. Well, wanting is not the same, you realize, as getting.
Sheridan: What do you mean?
Woody: Well, there is still one impediment to your long-term happiness. Unless a miracle is forthcoming, you, luis, are on your way to the big house for 25 years. Good afternoon... rcmp now say the body found dumped in a field east of edmonton on friday was that of a 19 year old prostitute. +++And new clues are released in the case of the woman who's body was found in a burnt dumpster in old strathcona. +++Plus - millions of canadians are still not sure who to vote for - and tonight's big english debate may help them decide.+++ We'll have those stories today on global news at five.
If they feel this about each other...
Mr. Harper should come clean.
No record the government can defend.
And the new democratic party thinks the government should do everything.
...Think what'll happen when they're in the same room. But before that, an inside look at debate strategies. It's up first. 5:30 today. Chchqq—llllyeyealalamam
ivy: Julian, who would've thought it possible, after all this time, the two of us talking about true love?
Julian: Well, the berlin wall came down. Why not the wall between us?
Ivy: Oh, when I think of what a war zone our marriage was.
Julian: Oh, the bickersons gone nuclear.
Ivy: That's for sure.
Julian: Could you believe it?
Ivy: All that time wasted, anger and hate, revenge.
Julian: Well, I'm sorry.
Ivy: Me, too. We sure didn't do our children any favors either.
Julian: I know. You take fox -- sometimes he seems likes this lost soul, looking to fill the -- the void where our love for him should've -- should've overflowed.
Ivy: I was a terrible mother to fox.
Julian: And I was a poor excuse for a father, but lately, you know, I've been trying to talk him. I've been trying to give him some sort of guidance, some sort of direction.
Ivy: Oh, good, julian. Keep it up, please, please. You're -- you're closer to fox than I am.
Julian: I just hope I'm not too late.
Ivy: Something tells me you're not.
Julian: Stay tuned, as they say.
Ivy: Well, good luck with fox.
Julian: Good luck with sam.
Ivy: And you with eve.
Julian: Only in my dreams, I'm afraid.
Ivy: Well, it's the same for sam and me. What is it, julian? Why is it everything we touch just --
julian: You know, I suppose it's our own fault. We were weak when we should've been strong, and we lost our loves once. Perhaps we don't deserve a second chance.
Julian: What's the problem with sam?
Ivy: Well, julian, you of all people probably would understand the lengths I went to to win him back. But to tell you about it now when it's all going to explode in my face wouldn't do any good. Not even you can get me out of the mess I've made of my life.
Julian: For what it's worth, I'm in the same position with eve. God, it's such a shame that we spent all those years fighting with each other when we should've been fighting father. If we had known what the situation truly was, perhaps we could've been allies, maybe even friends.
Ivy: You're right, julian, it is a shame. But that was then and this -- this is now. So what do you think? Is it possible? I mean, could we -- should we -- after all this time, be friends?
Sheridan: Well, I just remembered what luis and I mean to each other. He cannot go to prison now!
Woody: Yes, he can. Mm-hmm. Luis has been indicted, convicted, and condemned to serve 25 years in stir.
Sam: That was his sentence?
Woody: Regrettably and egregiously so.
Antonio: Well, you know what? Spare me the "poor luis" crap. It doesn't matter how he and sheridan feel about each other. The fact of the matter is, is that he kidnapped her and he held her against her will on that island.
Sheridan: No, he didn't, antonio!
Antonio: Yes, he did. You said he did.
Sheridan: Yeah, because you forced me to!
Sam: Whoa, whoa, wait a minute. What do you mean antonio forced you?
Sheridan: He was going to kill luis if I didn't promise to press charges against luis for my kidnapping. Hank was there. He heard the whole thing.
Sam: Hank, is that true?
Sheridan: Tell them, hank, please! I don't want luis to go to jail! I want to spend the rest of my life with him!
Before the name calling tuesday, see the game plan. Global national's inside look at debate strategies. It's up before the debate. All beginning... 5:30 tuesday.
Antonio: Luis kidnapped you, sheridan, and hank was there, and you witnessed her admitting that, didn't you, hank?
Hank: Well, yeah.
Sheridan: But you also heard antonio threaten to kill luis if I didn't press charges, right?
Hank: Right, yeah, I did.
Sam: Well, woody, you're a lawyer.
Woody: Yeah, yeah. I got business cards and all that. Yeah.
Sam: How does what hank witnessed impact luis' sentence?
Woody: Let me pause and ponder that partulular point before I render my professional opinion.
Sam: In english, woody.
Woody: Chill out. Let me think about this for a sec.
Pilar: Antonio, you know luis didn't hurt sheridan. For him to go to jail for 25 years -- that would be the greatest injustice of all.
Woody: I have concluded my consideration. And my conclusion is as follows -- with the sworn testimony of officer bennett relating to and regarding the heretofore unknown information pertaining to this matter, I believe that the court might be persuaded to vindicate, otherwise unconsecrate, and undo the due process of this unjust verdict. Yeah, I think we got a shot at overturning this.
Hank: God, I hate being in the middle of this.
Sam: Hank. Ok, you're a cop now, ok? Your first loyalty is always to the truth. Now, just tell the court what you're a witness to, and what happens after that is out of your hands.
Sheridan: Great. Let's go!
Antonio: Damn you, luis.
Sam: Hey, hey -- guards, keep an eye on these two.
Sam: You know, I'm happy for luis, but antonio has been put through a lot.
Pilar: He's devastated.
Sam: I know.
Pilar: I just hope he gives his family a chance, you know, to help him heal.
Sam: Me, too. Antonio's pretty raw right now, but in time I think he'll come around.
Pilar: Yeah. I got to tell you, seeing luis and sheridan come back together after everything -- well, that gives me hope that anything can happen.
Sam: You talking about martin?
Pilar: Yeah. I just -- you know, maybe someday, somehow, my husband will come back to me and grace to you.
Sam: No. It's not going to happen. Grace is happy in italy with david. And ivy and I are trying to rebuild our relationship.
Pilar: Are you ok with that?
Sam: Hey, life goes on. I'm just thankful that kay has pulled through this ordeal.
Pilar: Me, too.
Sam: Now I hope that kay and my children -- they find happiness in their lives.
Pilar: Well, I am certain after this last tragedy, it'll mark a turning point in the lives of kay, miguel, and charity.
Miguel: Please, kay, don't blame charity.
Kay: I'll blame whoever I want! Charity took you away from me, and now she's taken away my chance to ever have more children!
Eve: Miguel, just -- just give it a rest. Her blood pressure is off the charts, ok? We don't want her any more upset than she already is because it could cause her to have a stroke, even die.
Tabitha: Well? Answer me. What are you still doing here if you and miguel are finito benito, as you claim?
Charity: Kay just sounded so upset. I wanted to make sure she was ok.
Tabitha: Hell's bells! What is it going to take to get rid of you, brat?
Liz: Don't you worry about eve, aunt irma. I will make sure she never bothers you again.
Irma: That whore, that slut!
Liz: Yes, she is.
Irma: How do you know?
Liz: You just told me.
Irma: I knew that. Who are you again?
Liz: Your friend liz.
Irma: I knew that. Hand me my pocketbook.
Irma: Hurry up! At my age, every second counts.
Irma: Now, I'm going to give you something if miss molly hasn't stolen it. She has my teeth, you know.
Liz: Yes, you told me.
Irma: Here. Take that and throw it away.
Liz: This is you with eve as a child.
Irma: Yes, I used to love that sweet little thing until she grew up to be a slut. Broke my heart. Eve broke so many hearts.
Liz: Yes, she did, aunt irma -- so many. Well, don't you worry. I'll be happy to take this off your hands. That's what friends are for. . Perfect twins trip up. Olga
miguel: Kay, I'm really happy that you're all right. We all thought that you might die.
Kay: I might as well be dead. My life is over. I'm barely more than a teenager and I can never have another child. Maria will never have a little brother or a sister.
Miguel: There's nothing wrong with being an only child. I mean, that way you can give maria all of your love and attention. You know, and one day jessica and noah will get married and they'll have lots of cousins for maria to play with.
Kay: Yeah. Everybody else gets what they want. But me? No. Nothing's gone the way that I planned. My family and I don't even get along. I have a baby out of wedlock whose father is in love with my cousin. I work at a cannery gutting fish. And now my insides have been gutted, too, so no more babies for me. I feel so alone, so totally alone.
Miguel: Kay, you're not alone.
Miguel: I'm here, kay, and I promise you I'm not going to leave your side.
Tabia:A: I hope charity keeps running -- far, far away from harmony and miguel. And then the blond menace will be a threat to the dark side no more!
Liz: Aunt irma, you poor dear -- locked in this prison for the old and sick by that nasty, evil eve.
Irma: That whore, that slut.
Liz: Yes, she is. But now that we're friends, I am not going to let her victimize you anymore. I'm going to get you out of here.
Irma: Oh, bless you, child. Oh, I wish you could've been my niece. You're such a good girl -- not like that harlot eve.
Liz's voice: Yes, I am a good rlrl -- good at finding a way to out eve without getting my hands dirty. I can't wait for aunt irma to meet T.C. And blow the whistle on my sister.
Eve: God, it's so sad that a young girl like kay can't have any more children.
Eve: Babies are so precious. I wonder where my firstborn could be. Please, god. Please let julian find our son
julian: Will wonders never cease? The woman I married for bitter or worse is asking me to be friends.
Ivy: Yes, well, in a town where houses get sucked into hell and simians drive cars, anything seems possible.
Julian: Ah, indeed.
Ivy: So what do you think, julian? Friends?
Bailiff: Guards, mr. Lopez-fitzgerald is free to go.
Luis: I am?
Woody: Score one for the woodster. Yeah!
Sheridan: Once hank told the court what led up to me pressing kidnapping charges against you and why, they let me drop the charges. So, legally, you didn't commit a crime.
Woody: And without a crime, you don't do time.
Sheridan: So that means you're free! You're free to be with me.
Pilar: Oh, thank god.
Luis: I love you. God, do I love you.
Sheridan: I love you, too.
Antonio: What? He's not going to get away with it again this time.
Hank: Antonio, don'T.
Pilar: Mijo, please. There's been enough bad blood between you and luis. Just don't cause any more trouble.
Sam: Yeah, pilar's right. Give it a rest.
Antonio: All right, fine. But you mark my word -- this isn't over, not by a long shot.
It was only confirmed at nine o'clock this morning.
It broke that morning. Next afternoon, he was there. To see it for himself. News directors judged it the best example of breaking news that aired on any network all year long. But more importantly, you knew immediately. That's the way it is with our news. It's about time.
