[Music plays]

Liz: Enjoy him while you can, eve. Soon that will be me in T.C.'S arms. I will destroy you.

Julian: No, you won't, liz.

Liz: Julian.

Julian: There's no way you can destroy that, no matter how hard you try. A love like theirs is too strong.

Liz: I thought you'd left.

Julian: I did, but I knew that you wouldn't walk away, you'd still keep hanging around here, waiting to cause some trouble. I came back to make sure you didn'T.

Ethan: Dr. Abel, it's gwen. She fell. She hit her head.

Dr. Abel: I knowi I know. The paramedics called me from the ambulance. Get her in cubicle two, stat, please. All right, you're going to have to wait outside here right now.

Ethan: No, I can't --

dr. Abel: No, don't argue with me. Your wife's pregnancy was precarious enough before this happened. Seconds count right now. Get the monitor --

ethan: Doctor, just tell me they're going to be all right.

Dr. Abel: We're going to do our best, but I have to be honest with you, right now things don't look good for either one of them.

Ethan: It's all my fault. It's all my fault.

Luis: Sheridan!

Hank: Luis, cool it. Antonio's right over there.

Luis: Has he called the coast guard yet?

Hank: He's doing it now.

Luis: Good. We've got to start searching for her. Whoever took this boat out tonight could have thrown her overboard.

Hank: We don't know that.

Luis: Well, we know someone took old man jackson's boat out tonight without his permission, and we know that we found a piece of cloth that could have come from sheridan's shirt.

Hank: We don't know it's hers for sure.

Luis: It's the only lead we got, all right? We got to go with it. I'll search this whole damn ocean if I have to to find sheridan.

Charlie: You lied!

Beth: Charlie, let go!

Charlie: You still like luis! You want to be with him and not me!

Beth: Charlie, charlie, listen to me.

Charlie: I am through listening, beth! No more lies. You're just like all t o others. You don't care. You never cared. You used me, and now you're going to pay for what you did to me! I'm going to kill you, bethie! You're going to die, beth, die!

Singer: I would hold the hand of the one who could lead me places and kiss the lips of the one who could sing so sweet and i would fly on the wings of the bird I knew cod d take me highest breathe in, breathe out you keep me alive you are the fire burning inside of me you are my passion for life |8ów you say the word glasses andpeople think 'stereotype'!

ethan: Oh, god, what have I done? I got to be with her. I got to tell her how sorry I am.

Chad: Ethan, don'T.

Fox: Hey.

Chad: The doctor said you need to wait out here.

Ethan: I should be with my wife, ok? It's my fault that this is happening to her, chad.

Fox: Ethan, you got to calm down, man.

Ethan: No, I could lose my baby and my wife.

Chad: No. The doctors are going to do a good job with them, all right? You'll see.

Ethan: Why didn't I just tell her the truth from the beginning? I mean, why -- why didn't I tell her that theresa was here in L.A.? This never would have happened.

Chad: Don't do this to yourself, man.

Whitney: Chad's right, ethan.

Ethan: I should have just been honest with her from the start.

Chad: Look, gwen can't get upset in her condition. All right, you knew if she found out about theresa, she'd get upset. So you're just trying to protect her.

Ethan: Yeah, and a damn lousy job of it, huh? I mean, what must she have thought when she came to the apartment complex and she saw theresa, huh? What must have she thought? And to know that she was staying in the same apartment as I was? She must have been in shock. And then discovered I was lying about theresa being here. She must havfefelt so betrayed by me.

Fox: Ethan, it's like chad said, ok, you were trying to protect her. Think about that.

Ethan: I hated keeping the truth from her, and I would have told her the truth as soon as she had the baby and she was no longer at risk. And since the doctor ordered her to stay until the baby was born, I had no reason to think that she would leave the hospital. Wait a minute -- why did she leave the hospital? She knew it was vital to stay here. Why would she have left and gone to the apartment?

Gwen: You're goi t to try and play innocent with me? I saw the two of you making out on the beach tonight live on tv.

Theresa: Oh, god.

Whitney: It's all right, theresa.

Ethan: What would have been so important that she would put herself and the baby at risk and leave the hospital?

Mrs. Wallace: Oh, now, come on, come on. You got to drink up. Come on, be a good boy. You got to take your formula. I hope you get to like this stuff because it's for darn sure your psycho would-be mother ain't going to be breastfeeding you. Oh, lord, lord, lord knows where your real mother, sheridan, is right now. No, no, no, come on. Come on, come on. You got to chow down, be a big boy. You know, in my day, you know, we didn't breastfeed. Oh, no. It was formula all the way, and look, everybody turned out great, huh?

[Precious blows raspberry]

Mrs. Wallace: All right, ok. Most of the kids turned out great. And then there was my bethie. She was a pisser. Oh, what a temper. Whoo! That bundle of rage. Boy, she was screaming from the minute she woke up in the morning to the minute she finally went down. You know what I used to do? I used to put a little beer in bethie's baby formula. Well, I had to shut her up. Boy, could that kid wail. You know what? It worked. It did. But don't you worry. That is never going to be happening to you, ok? No way, jose. No sirree bob. We certainly don't want to get you having a 12-step program this early, do we? That reminds me, there is a very important life lesson here for you, and I want you to listen up, so pay attention now. Come on, pay attention. Here we go. Never mix, never worry. You remember that rule, and believe me, it's going to save you a heap of trouble. Ok, now. I can see you don't want any more of this. All righty. Ok. Hold on here. Here we go. Have a little burpy poo. Ok. Ooh. Getting heavy. Oh, what is taking beth and charlie so long? I don't like this. I don't like any of it. Poor sheridan. She doesn't deserve any of this. Kidnapped by bonkers beth and wacko charlie. Kept in the basement until she gave birth to you, you sweet little one. Oh, no. And why? Why? Because beth wants luis all to herself, that's why. Oh, come on. Precious, don't worry. Beth has about as much chance of getting luis as you do. Oh, well, it's true. Wake u and smell the coffee. And of course, there's charlie. Boy, when she finds out that she has been lied to and used -- well, you mark my words, sheridan is not the only one who's going to be swimming with the fishes.

Charlie: I'm going to kill you, beth! You're going to pay for what you've done to me!

Beth: Charlie, stop! You've got to listen to me!

Charlie: Listen to what? More lies?

Beth: I'm not lying. I don't want luis. I swear it. I swear it. I only want you. I hate luis.

Charlie: What?

Beth: I hate luis, ok? He took advantage of me, and he used me.

Charlie: Used you? How?

Beth: He let me think that he loved me, that he wanted to marry me, but then he just dumped me for sheridan, a blonde, of course. I don't know how I ever let myself tru h him, trust any man, for that matter. They're all rotten.

Charlie: I could have told you that.

Beth: Charlie, I didn't know you then. I didn't have you to warn me, to look out for me, so I trusted luis.

Charlie: You just can't trust men. They're all pigs.

Beth: Yeah, well, I learned that the hard way, thanks to luis. He hurt me so much, charlie.

Charlie: Bethie, don't cry.

Beth: And vovowed that I would get back at luis by getting rid of sheridan. Let him feel how it is to have someone you love ripped away from you. I wanted him to hurt the same way he hurt me, and sheridan had to die for her part in this. They were so mean to me, charlie, and you've never been mean to me. Until now.

Charlie: Oh, bethie, you know what? I shouldn't have gone off on you like that. I just -- you know, I'm so used to people letting me down.

Beth: Yeah, but I've never let you down, not even once.

Charlie: No.

Beth: And I wouldn'T. You're thelma to my louise, remember? We're a team. And now that we have the baby, we can be a family.

Charlie: A family, yeah.

Beth: If you didn't trust me, I would just feel so terrible.

Charlie: No, no, I do. I do. I trust you, bethie.

Beth: You have no idea how much that means to me.

Charlie: Oh, bethie, you mean everything to me, so don't you worry. Now, sheridan has paid, and so will luis. No one's ever going to hurt us again.

Luis: Well, I hope I'm wrong. I hope this boat wast t used to take sheridan out to sea.

Hank: I hope so, too.

Luis: Well, if it was, I just pray that we find her in time.

Antonio: Luis?

Luis: Hey.

Antonio: This is commander yardley from the coast guard.

Luis: Officer lopez fitzgerald, harmony P.D. I assume my brother's filled you in?

Antonio: Yeah, I filled him in on everything, how we think that sheridan's kidnapper may have taken her out on old man jackson's boat.

Comm. Yardley: I'm pretty much up to speed, except for the specific area you need searched.

Luis: Well, actually, I don't have a specific area. We need to search the whole harbor and all the outlying areas.

Comm. Yardley: I'll do what I can, but -- I've radioed two of my patrol boats, but I've got to level with you, luis. It's dark out there, and the fog is rolling in. Even with our searchlights, it'll be difficult to see anything.

Luis: Well, I understand that it's not going to be easy, but I need every boat that you've got. All right? I need the whole area gone over with a fine-tooth comb. Now, look, if sheridan's out there, then we need to find her. I'm seanna collins. There's still time to put a team together and register for mission in the mall sunday. julian: I'm not going to let you pull anything. You're not going to ruin their night together.

Liz: Have you lost your mind, julian? You're actually going to stand guard for the woman you love so she can be with another man?

Julian: That other man is her husband.

Liz: And since when has that stopped you from going after a woman you wanted? Look at them. Are you actually going to say that doesn't bother you? You really are a fool.

Julian: Eve wants her marriage to work. She wants to be with T.C. If that's what's going to make her happy, that's what I want for her. I'm not going to let you take that away.

Liz: Imagine, julian crane as a knight in shining armor.

Julian: Eve has had enough unhappiness in her life.

Liz: Julian, drop the noble act. I know better. I know who you are. You are nothing more than a selfish pig.

Julian: I've been called worse.

Liz: You've never thought about anyone but yourself.

Julian: That's not entirely true.

Liz: You're nothing more than a cad, a womanizer.

Julian: Guilty on both counts if you leave eve out of the equation.

Liz: What equation? There's only julian and what amuses him in that moment.

Julian: Not with eve. She's different.

Liz: What makes my sister different? What makes eve so damn special?

Ethan: It just doesn't make any sense. I mean, why would gwen leave the hospital? I had just brought her back here, and she was settled in for the night.

Chad: Well, did she say anything about leaving?

Ethan: No, I mean, she wasn't happy about it, but she accepted what the doctor said -- that in order for her to have a safe delivery, she was going to have to stay in bed. I mean, why -- why would she leave the hospital?

Theresa: She knew I was here, ethan.

Ethan: What did you say?

Theresa: Gwen knew I was here.

Ethan: That you were here in L.A.?

Theresa: And -- well, she also knew --

ethan: She knew -- she knew what? She knew what?

Theresa: That you and I were kissing on the beach.

Ethan: No. How could she possibly have known that? How?

Nurse: I was afraid this would happen.

Second nurse: What do you mean?

First nurse: I found the tv on in mrs. Winthrop's room. It was tuned to the same channel as that entertainment news program.

Second nurse: No. Not the one that showed her husband kissing that other woman?

First nurse: Yeah. She must have seen it.

Second nurse: Poor mrs. Winthrop. First she finds out her husband is cheating on her, and now she could loseerer baby.

[Music plays]

T.C.: Do you have any idea how much you mean to me?

Eve: I know what you mean to me, what my family and our marriage means -- everything.

T.C.: It means everything to me, too, sweetheart. I love you so much.

Eve: I love you, too.

Liz: Go ahead, julian. Tell me. Tell me what makes eve so damn special. How can you still love her? She's a drug addict. She's a drunk and a slut.

Julian: That was so long ago. She was never promiscuous. The drinking and the drugs were my fault.

Liz: How can you take the blame for what my sister did with her life?

Julian: Because I introduced her to that life.

Liz: She had choices just like everybody else. She had the choice to listen to me when I came to her for help.

Julian: She had no idea how terrible things were for you at home, liz.

Liz: That's because she didn't have time to listen to me when I tried to tell her our father was molesting me.

Julian: She said she was sorry. And she wasn't herself back then.

Liz: Go ahead, julian, make excuses for her. To hear you tell it, butter wouldn't melt in her mouth.

Julian: That woman in there -- that's the real eve. Ththe one you're talking about existed for a very short period of time because of me. But once we split, she went back to who she really is and she pulled her life together.

Liz: And I'm just supposed to forget the pain that she caused just because she wasn't herself?

Julian: If you want to be angry, be angry at me because it's my doing. But it's time you accepted the fact that eve is not the monster you've made her out to be.

Liz: Well, she may have pulled her life together, but she damn near ruined mine.

Julian: That was so long ago.

Liz: Oh, and I'm just supposed to forget, right?

Julian: Eve is a good woman. She's a wonderful wife and mother, a brilliant doctor.

Liz: She's a miserable bitch who's going to get what she's got coming to her.

Julian: You're going to leave her alone, and her husband and her children. You're going to stop dwelling on the past. Stop blaming eve for everything and finally accept the fact that you and only you are responsible for your life, no one else. Stop wasting it and move on.

Ethan: How did gwen find out about us kissing on the beach? No one else knew about that. I mean, what, did you tell gwen?

Fox: No, ethan, come on. I didn't say anything. I'd never do that to gwen.

Ethan: Then how did she know?

Theresa: She saw it on tv.

Ethan: Tv?

Theresa: There was a camera crew at the beach restaurant that videotaped us kissing.

Ethan: Oh, my god.

Theresa: She saw it here at the hospital in her room.

Ethan: And that's why she -- she left and went back to the apartment.

Theresa: Yes. She knew that I was here, and she knew that we were together.

Ethan: Oh, my god. Theresa, she was upset when she saw you sitting at the pool at the apartment, right?

Theresa: Very upset.

Ethan: Why didn't you come up to the apartment and get me?

Theresa: I tried,ththan. I --

ethan: You tried?

Theresa: She wouldn't let me go. She grabbed me by my hair. She was screaming at me.

Gwen: Theresa, I knew you were down and dirty, but you have really outdone yourself this time. I cannot believe you were slinking around ethan's bedroom while we were in there. For god's sakes, we were going to make love. What were you going to do, just stand there and watch?

Theresa: All right, you're working yourself up here. Let me just get ethan, all right? Ow!

Gwen: Did you not hear what I said? You're not going anywhere near ethan now or ever again.

Theresa: I couldn't break free. And then we got into this horrible argument.

[Gwen screams]

Theresa: Oh, my god. And then --

ethan: Wait, wait. You got into an argument with her?

Theresa: Yes.

Ethan: You risked getting her more upset by arguing with her?

Theresa: Well, no, I didn't -- I didn't mean to. It just kind of -- it happened.

Ethan: Are you trying to tell me, theresa, that you were lashing out at her when she fell?

Theresa: No, I wasn'T. I was just --

ethan: Theresa, I need to know what happened, and you're going to tell me everything that happened -- everything.

Dr. Abel: Let me see a printout from the fetal monitor, please.

Nurse: Yes, doctor.

Dr. Abel: This is not good. It's not good at all.

Mrs. Wallace: What happened? What have you done to poor sheridan?

Beth: Hey. It's all been taken care of. Sheridan won't be getting in the way anymore.

Mrs. Wallace: You mean, you --

beth: Yeah, sheridan's dead and gone. We're home free.

Mrs. Wallace: Angels in heaven, my daughter is a murderess. Why, why, why couldn't you have brought her into the light before she committed these horrible atrocities?

Beth: Put a sock in it.

Mrs. Wallace: Oh, to kill this poor little baby's mother.

Beth: I'm his mother.

Mrs. Wallace: No, you are a murderess, along with that wacko charlie.

Charlie: Watch your mouth, old woman. It's been a long day. One more atrocity here or there ain't going to make a difference.

Mrs. Wallace: What did you do, barracuda? Dump sweet sheridan's body in the sea?

Beth: Yep, pretty much that's what we did. Sheridan crane is at the bottom of the ocean about to become fish food.

Mrs. Wallace: You are going to be spending the rest of your life in prison.

Beth: No, I am not. I'm not going to prison because nobody is ever going to know about this ever.

Mrs. Wallace: I wouldn't be too sure about that one, missy. Because the oceans have a way of giving up their secrets. The mysteries of the deep come up to the surface sooner or later.

Luis: All right, sectors one, eight, and nine. Then proceed south to --

hank: 160 and 161 -- they haven't been covered.

Luis: 160 and 161. Out. This is just going way too slowly, hank.

Hank: Everybody's on it. It's all coordinated.

Luis: All right, then we need more boats.

Comm. Yardley: The coast guard has every available craft in the water.

Officer: We've gone over every square inch of the bay.

Luis: All right, then push out beyond it.

Comm. Yardley: The open sea is nothing but dense fog.

Officer: We've looked everywhere we've even had minimum visibility, and we haven't seen anything.

Luis: Well, then look harder.

Comm. Yardley: My men are thorough, luis.

Luis: Well, they might have missed something.

Officer: You can see how dark it's getting out there.

Comm. Yardley: And the fog bank is closing in.

Luis: Well, that's not good enough, all right? We have to find sheridan. Every second here counts, all right?

Officer: It's too late. All that is left is to dredge the bay, and I'd be happy to start first thing in the morning.

Luis: What?

Officer: If the kidnappers dumped the victim's body at sea, she was probably already dead.

>> Tonight.... more than two years! Has how long it takes for health canada to approve new drugs.

>> There are a lot of issues that have nothing to do with science.

>> So while the process is buried under red tape, are canadians missing out on new medical treatments? On tonight's global national.

Singer: You are my passion for life

hank: Luis!

Antonio: Hey, hey, what's going on?

Comm. Yardley: Stop this immediately!

Antonio: What's up with you, luis, huh?

Hank: You got to calm down.

Comm. Yardley: You all right, lieutenant?

Officer: Yes, sir.

Comm. Yardley: What the hell is the matter with you?

Luis: You had no right saying sheridan could already be dead. Now, what the hell kind of attitude is that when we're trying to find her?

Officer: Well, I apologize. I figured since you were a cop, you might have seen cases like this before.

Luis: Yeah, well, we haven't had a case like this before.

Hank: Sheridan is his brother's wife.

Officer: I see. Like I said, I apologize.

Luis: Yeah.

Hank: You got to cooitit.

Luis: I know it. We've got to find her. All right, now, if sheridan is out there, then we have to find her.

Antonio: We are not giving up, and we can't assume anything right now. We have to operate like sheridan's still alive.

Luis: You're damn right we will.

Antonio: Until we're prov - -- until we're proven otherwise.

Luis: Which we won't be. You know what? Why don't you just give me a boat myself, all right? I'll go out there.

Comm. Yardley: Sorry, luis, I can't allow that.

Luis: Why the hell not?

Comm. Yardley: I'm calling off the search till morning.

Luis: You can'T. Listen, you can't call off the search. Commander, please. Please.

Comm. Yardley: We'll resume at first light. It's too dark.

Luis: Commander, what if you were searching for the woman you loved? Huh? Would you just stop? Would you stop because it's too dark?

Comm. Yardley: No. I'd keep searching until fofound her.

Luis: Please. Please, don't call off the search.

Comm. Yardley: Lieutenant. Continue the search.

Officer: Yes, sir.

Luis: Thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Comm. Yardley: Good luck, luis.

Luis: Thank you.

Comm. Yardley: You'll need it because I've got a bad feeling about this. I don't think this is going to turn out the way you hope it will.

Charlie: I'm going to go grab a shower.

Beth: Ok.

Charlie: I'm sorry about before, you know, doubting you.

Beth: That's ok, charlie. You already apologized

charlie: Yeah, well, you know what? I'll never doubt you again, bethie.

Beth: I'm glad.

Mrs. Wallace: So, what was that all about? Don't tell me nothing because I know better.

Beth: Charlie accused me of still having feelings for luis, and she went a little berserk.

Mrs. Wallace: A little berserk? Well, I guess that explains the red marks on your neck.

Beth: Don't worry about it, ok? Everything is under control.

Mrs. Wallace: Oh, yeah, I can see that. What are you going to do about charlie, huh? Hmm? Obviously, she's not going to be too happy when she finds out that you were using her to get to luis. And those red marks -- just a preview of what she's really going to do to you.

Beth: Like I said, don't worry about it, ok? Everything is under control. My plan is right on schedule.

Mrs. Wallace: Oh, it is, huh?

Beth: Yeah.

Mrs. Wallace: Ooh. Haven't you forgotten one little thing?

Beth: Huh? What?

Mrs. Wallace: How do you plan on going to a hospital and giving birth to an imagina baby that you're supposedly carrying, huh? Luis thinks you're going to drop this thing any second now. How are you going to pull that off, huh? Oh, bethie.

The jig is up oh, yes, it is and you are going down the tubes.

[] Grow. Grow courage,

Julian: Did you listen to me? You're going to move on and leave eve and T.C. Alone.

Liz: Never. Eve is going to pay for what I suffered. She is going to pay for what she did to me. Her own sister and she turned her back?

Julian: Let it go.

Liz: No. I want revenge.

Julian: Revenge is very destructive. It ends up destroying the person who's seeking it.

Liz: Not this person. It'll do nothing but give me supreme satisfaction.

Julian: Move on.

Liz: Not until eve has paid in full.

Julian: That is so unfair.

Liz: Fair? Is it fair I never had a husband or a family?

Julian: But that's not eve's doing.

Liz: Yes, it is.

Julian: How?

Liz: Eve and my father betrayed me. I was never going to trust anyone again, let anyone that I cared about get close.

Julian: You need to get past this.

Liz: You know what? Just save the dr. Phil stuff. You have no idea how I feel. My drugged-up whore of a sister has a wonderful life and I get nothing? It is time for me to set things right. It is time for eve to get what she deserves. So, no, julian, I am not going to move on. I will have revenge.

Julian: You may manage to hurt eve, but in the end, the person who will be hurt the most is yourself, I guarantee it.

Eve: There is no feeling in the world like being in your arms and no place that I would rather be.

T.C.: I love you so much, sweetheart.

Eve: T.C., What's the matter?

Ethan: You were arguing with gwen when she fell?

Theresa: She was angry, ethan.

Ethan: For god's sake, theresa.

Theresa: She was saying these terrible things, and I was -- I was defeining myself.

Ethan: Well, of course she was upset. I mean, how could she not be? We're in the wrong here.

Theresa: The camera crew, it --

ethan: You're going to blame it on them?

Theresa: No, I'm not trying to blame it --

ethan: Theresa, gwen is my wife. She is having my baby, ok? I had no right kissing you on that beach or anywhere else.

Theresa: We couldn't help ourselve

ethan: That is no excuse, theresa. I despise myself for being so weak.

Theresa: Please don't say that, ethan.

Ethan: Of course she was upset. I mean, she knew I was lying abouyou. She knew I was lying about you being here in L.A.

Theresa: You thought it was best for her n t to know.

Ethan: And then -- and then she saw it on television? Looking for all the world as if we were carrying on behind her back? Of course she was upset.

Theresa: She was angry. I mean, I've never seen her this angry.

Ethan: I don't care how angry she was, theresa. You didn't have any right to fight with her. You had none.

julian: Relyly think about that, liz.

Liz: What's to think about, julian? I am going to set things straight between my sister and myself, and then I will finally have justice.

Julian: There's nothing just about this.

Liz: You know what I think, julian? You should move on with your life d d get your nose out of mine.

Julian: The one who will end up hurting the most from this is you.

Liz: Here we go again.

Julian: Revenge is not the answer. It will eat at your insides.

Liz: I will let you know if that happens, ok, julian? In fact, once I have T.C. And eve is out in the cold, which is where she belongs, you and I can sit down, and I will let you know if I'm the one who's hurting.

Julian: You're never going to end up with T.C.

Liz: Oh, yes, I am.

Julian: Look at them. That's love. What they have is the real thing.

Liz: Is it?

Julian: Look at them.

Liz: If their love is so strong, T.C. Wouldn't have kissed me the way he did. And on more than one occasion, I might add. And on some level, both eve and T.C. Know it.

Julian: You're delusional.

Liz: Really? Why don't you ask eve. She saw T.C. Kissing me. She saw her husband looking for love from another woman. And I guarantee you, in time, that's going to eat her insides out. But you know what? T.C. Doesn't know that eve saw us. And he's an honest man, so he's gointoto feel obligated to come clean.

Julian: And tell her?

Liz: Julian, I love that you are actually able to be shocked by decency. Yes, T.C. Will tell eve everything, and as soon as those words are spoken, they'll never be able to forget it. That kiss is going to hang between them. And in time, it will tear them apart.

Eve: Is everything ok, honey?

T.C.: Sweetheart, we need to talk. There's something I want to tell you.

Ethan: I can't believe that you'd actually argue with gwen.

Theresa: God knows I didn't want to.

Ethan: Gwen is in the right here, heresa. We are in the wrong. I mean, what woman wouldn't be upset about seeing her husband kissing another woman? And on tv?

Theresa: I know, I know.

Ethan: Theresa, you knew how serious her condition was. You knew that if she got upset, she could lose that baby, didn't you?

Theresa: Yes.

Ethan: Yeah, and yet u u went right ahead and you kept getting her upset by arguing with her. Why didn't you come up to the apartment and just let me handle it?

Theresa: I told you, I tried but I couldn'T. She was already upset. She was in a rage. She grabbed me by my hair, ethan --

ethan: How could you allow her to get this upset, theresa? Didn't you stop and think about what it could do to her, what it could do to the baby?

Theresa: I never meant any harm to gwen or the baby, ethan.

Ethan: Then why would you fight with her, theresa? Why wouldn't you just let it go instead of letting things get as far as they did?

Dr. Abel: This is not good at all. Increase the I.V. If we don't turn this thing around immediately, she's going to lose the baby.

Mrs. Wallace: It's all going up in smoke, bethie. Your brilliant plan -- poof!

Beth: Anytime you'd like to shut your big trap, just feel free, mother.

Mrs. Wallace: That was funny. But you're never going to come up with a believable way to deliver that fake baby of yours.

Beth: Watch me.

Mrs. Wallace: You can't go to a hospital.

Beth: Damn it, mother, I told you, I'm going to say that I had the baby here.

Mrs. Wallace: You really think that luis is going to think you delivered this baby by yourself?

Beth: I will tell him that you and precious helped deliver the baby, ok? D d then once he sees the baby, he's going to be so happy and so excited, he's not even going to think about it.

Mrs. Wallace: Maybe not right away. But eventually, he's going to want you to go see a doctor. You know luis. How are you going to make a doctor believe that you gave birth to a baby? Huh? Not going to be happening, bethie. You won't be able to do that. No, no, no, no, not my wicked daughter. Luis -- he's going to put the pieces together, and he's going to finally realize that your pregnancy was a f fake all the time. Quiet, precious. Then you're going to go off to prison. Ooh. And guess what -- here is a good thought for you. If you're lucky, maybe u u and charlie will be cellmates. Oh. Something tells me she's going to insist upon that. And then this sweet, sweet little child will finally have a chance to have a normal life without you being in the picture.

Beth: Luis and I are going to give him a normal life.

Mrs. Wallace: Oh, no, bethie. You are going down.

You are going all the way down.

Luis: Play it more to the starboard bow!

Officer: Turning five degrees to port.

Second officer: Hard to starboard.

Hank: Luis, it's pitch black out there.

Antonio: Yeah, we've already had two near misses.

Sheridan's voice: Who would be trying to kill me, luis? Unless, of course, julian's up to his old tricks again.

Luis: Yeah. Look, I don't know. Sheridan, whoever burned down your cottage could have been after me, too. Cops have a lot of enemies. Look, whoever it was, I'm going to protect you, all right? Nothing or no one is going to stop us from being together.

Luis: I'll keep that promise, sheridan. I'll find you. Somehow, I'll find you. Just don't give up hope.

Ethan: What I did could have cost us our baby's life. I want to see her.

Dr. Adel: Asolutely not.

Ethan: You're forbidding me to see my own wife?

Mrs. Wallace: Who were you going to say delivered the baby?

Beth: I guess you will just have to wait and see.

Luis: Where are you, sheridan?
