Passions Transcript Friday 9/5/03
Miguel: Kay, you all right?
Miguel: Be careful.
Kay: Oh, it hurts where they stapled me after the caesarian.
Miguel: I hope your fall didn't tear your incision apart.
Kay: Miguel, you know, don't worry about me. You and charity just go to the game, ok?
Miguel: No, don't worry about the game, ok? You could have killed yourself with that fall down the stairs.
Tabitha: Your auntie kay may be a civilian, but she's so intent on getting miguel for herself that she'll do anything, even so far as hurting herself and her so-called best friend. Way to go, kay.
Gwen: You can't say no. We both already told chad that you would meet him and whitney at the restaurant at the beach.
Ethan: Look, I just wanted to stay here with you tonight.
Gwen: Honey, don't argue with me. I'm so tired, and all I'm going to do is fall asleep when you leave. And besides, I will rest much easier knowing that you are out with friends having a good meal. And I read about marina in my "zagat's," and I want you to tell me if their chef is as good as they say.
Ethan: Gwen, but I don't --
gwen: But, but, but -- be gone with you, sweetheart. Call me in the morning and tell me what a wonderful time you had. Ok?
Ethan's voice: You wouldn't be saying that if you knew theresa was going to be there, too.
Chad: We're ready to go anytime. Oh, no problem, whitney. We're ready to go whenever you get here, we're going to head off to the beach.
Fox: You know something?
Fox: Just because ethan's going to be at the restaurant --
theresa: Oh, my god, it's perfect timing. I can start making him jealous by acting like I'm interested in you.
Fox: Well, what about me?
Theresa: You will get your chance with the woman that you're in love with, I promise. You'll see. We're going to use each other to win the person that we really love.
Beth: Oh! It's a musical mobile! It's so adorable. I love it, hank.
Hank: Really? I wasn't too sure when I picked it out. These baby shower deals are a first for me.
Grace: Oh, come on, hank, baby showers are always coed these days. Oh.
Eve: So, beth, luis, we don't even know if you're having a boy or a girl.
Beth: Actually, we decided we wanted to be surprised.
Mrs. Wallace: Yeah, surprise. Whoo! Excuse us for a minute. Luis is definitely going to be surprised when he finds out he's going to be a da-da to a 10-pound bag of sugar. You -- you have lost your marbles, bethie.
Beth: Ok, you leave me alone because for the first time in my life, I'm the center of attention.
Mrs. Wallace: Oh, you're going to be the center of attention, all right, for a long, long, long time when luis finds sheridan in the basement in labor I am talking headlines, front page, tabloids across the country. Have you forgotten that sheridan is down in that basement about to have her baby without any kind of medical attention? And sooner or later, everyone up here is going to hear her screaming. And not long after that, luis is going to have sheridan in his arms and you -- oh, you -- in custody.
Beth: I told you, nobody is going to find sheridan. Charlie can handle the birth of the baby, and -- and there's going to be so much noise going onp p here, nobody will be the wiser.
Sheridan: I have to get luis to hear me.
Singer: I would hold the hand of the one who could lead me places and kiss the lips of the one who could si so sweet and i would fly on the wings of the bird I knew could take me highest breathe in, breathe out u u keep me alive you are the fire burning inside of me you are my passion for life they're celebrating 20 years in edmonton - we'll take you to the old strathcona farmers market on saturdays morning edition.í This is out there on global - I'm seanna coIñ the eñÑ;
What is the role of our military? On that, canadians are deeply divided. Those here see it one way; here another way. As you'll see with this national poll. Canadian opinion: How divided are we? It's on tonight's "global national" with kevin newman.
Miguel: Can you stand up?
Kay: I think so.
Miguel: Be careful.
Kay: Ok. Ooh. Oh. Oh, my ankle.
Simone: My ankle is the one that hurts. You'd think kay could have been a little bit more original.
Kay: Ooh --
simone: Kay, what are you doing? Stop putting so much weight on me.
Kay: You should have told me you would help me get miguel earlier, simone.
Simone: I did what I thought was right.
Kay: Yeah, well, so am I.
[Kay and simone scream]
Miguel: Oh, my god.
Tabitha: Ow. That's got to hurt.
Simone: Oh, my ankle!
Tabitha: Oh, it did.
Kay: Oh, miguel, I'm rrrry to be such a nuisance. I really thought I could get up the stairs with just simone's help.
Miguel: Don't worry about it, ok? But I think we should get you to dr. Russell and have her check you out. It could be really serious if your incision has opened up again.
Kay: No, I'm fine. I would know if my staples had come out, ok?
Tabitha: Just a minute, miguel. Why don't I just take a quick look at them. I mean, I'm no doctor, but at least I'll be able to tell if any serious damage has been done.
Tabitha: Oh, well, everything looks as it should be. But I'll tell you, my dear young lady, you're a mommy now, and you have to be much more responsible and more careful.
Kay: I will be, I promise. Now, see, miguel? There's no reason for me to go to the hospital.
Miguel: I hope not. Are you ok, simone?
Tabitha: Wow. That must have hurt like the dickens.
Kay: Yeah, I'll be black and blue for days, but I think it worked. I doubt charity and miguel will be going anywhere tonight.
Simone: My ankle really hurts.
Miguel: Let me look at it.
Tabitha: You are something, kay. Once you set your mind on something, nothing will deter you.
Kay: Well, you ain't seen nothing yet.
Ethan: Are you sure you're going to be warm enough? Because I can get the nurse to get another blanket if you need it.
Gwen: Honey, I'm fine. Now, go, go.
Ethan: I just want to make sureouou have everything you need here.
Gwen: I need for you to go out and have a good time with your friends and get a good meal and not worry about me in the hospital. Honey, go on. Chad and whitney will be waiting for you at the restaurant.
Ethan: But I want to make sure you --
gwen: No, but nothing. Honey, you can have lobster risotto at marina with them, or you can stay with me and share my awful grapefruit juice and dry crackers. It's your choice -- only I'm going to make it for you and I want you to go now, please.
Ethan: All right, ok, ok, ok. But if you need anything -- I swear, if you need anything at all, I will --
gwen: I know your cell phone number by heart. Go.
Gwen: What is wrong with you? I love you that you hate leaving me so much, but I really -- I want you to go and have a good time for both of us, ok? And I'll talk to you later or in the morning.
Gwen: Ok? Have fun.
Ethan: If you only knew that you were sending me off to theresa.
Whitney: So? What's the verdict?
Theresa: The verdict -- you look incredible.
Whitney: Thank you. I really splurged on a new dress.
Theresa: It's beautiful. I love it.
Chad: You look beautiful, baby.
Whitney: Oh, thank you, baby.
Theresa: Well, fox, what do you think? What do you think? Hmm?
Fox: Yeah, fantastic.
Chad: You know, we should get going. I need to set up for syd.
Theresa: Oh, I'm just going to get my things together.
Chad: I wish ethan weren't going to the restaurant with us.
Whitney: Oh, me, too. I mean, I wanted tonight to be about theresa and fox getting something going. You know, maybe ethan will think better of it and not come.
Fox: You're sure you didn't have anything to do with this sudden turn of events?
Theresa: How could I? I had no idea that ethan was actually going to meet us at the restaurant, but you know what? It's our destiny that he is. Ok, so this is what you got to do, ok? You got to be all over me when he walks in because I want him to realize how much he hates seeing me in another man's arms.
Fox: Yeah, well, I mean, he could hate it and still not think he and you should be together.
Chad: You guys ready?
Theresa: All set. Uh-uh, no. I know ethan. I know that he's very responsible and he's committed to his marriage to gwen. However, I know that he will have a knee-jerk reaction to seeing us acting like boyfriend and girlfriend. And this time, he's not going to be able to walk away from his feelings.
Fox: So you hope.
Theresa: Fox, more than I hope. I just don't know how much longer I can stand not being with the person I love.
Fox: I know what you mean.
Charlie: Psst, psst, psst. What -- what -- what did beth say?
Mrs. Wallace: Oh, beth? Oh, she wants you to go back down to the basement because she is still under the illusion that you are capable of delivering sheridan's baby. You aren't capable of delivering a piece of mail.
Charlie: Shut your pie hole, old woman. You're making me nervous.
Mrs. Wallace: I'm making you nervous? I have a kidnap victim in labor in my basement, her cop loverboy is in the living room, and a daughter who is happy playing queen for a day. Oh!
Pilar: I almost gained, like, 40 pounds with theresa.
Beth: Oh, no.
Pilar: Don't laugh, it's true.
Grace: You knew, too.
Sheridan: Luis -- got to make him hear me.
Grace: Well, you lost all that weight really quickly.
Eve: Oh, what about you? What about you, grace?
Grace: I don't remember.
Hank: Hey, I know this isn't where you want to be right now, but you are the father of beth's baby.
Luis: Yeah, I know, I know. I owe it to beth. I just can't stop thinking about that voice I heard earlier.
Hank: I thought that was your mother'S.
Luis: Maybe. Maybe not.
Pilar: Beth, I hope that you get better suggestions for naming your baby than I did. When I was pregnant, one of the suggestions was remedio, which means "remedy" in spanish.
Pilar: It was awful.
Grace: More like "problem."
Mrs. Wallace: Charlie, charlie, look.
Charlie: Damn it. Sheridan's managed to get the door open again.
Sheridan: Luis. An art now.
Pretty much, because my friend's house burned down.

tabitha: You know, dear, women who have had c-sections shouldn't even be taking the stairs.
Kay: I know, but that's where my bed is.
Tabitha: Oh, perhaps we should move you downstairs. Of course, it means you'd have to sleep on the couch.
Kay: I'd hate that. No offense, tabitha, but this couch is really lumpy.
Tabitha: Yes, timmy always used to say that. But I don't see how you can stay upstairs. I mean, we'll have to hire someone to carry you up and down. We can't ask miguel to do it all the time.
Kay: No, no, of course not. In fact, he shouldn't even be here right now. Miguel, please, if you don't go, you're going to miss the game.
Simone: Kay's right, miguel. You've been looking forward to this game.
Miguel: Let me at least get kay upstairs.
Kay: No. You guys have already missed the first inning.
Miguel: Don't worry about it, ok? The important thing is that you're all right. Let me get kay upstairs and settled in, and then we'll take off.
Charity: No problem.
Simone: We can call my dad. I mean, he'll come over and carry --
miguel: I'll do it. I'll do it, simone.
Simone: But the game --
miguel: Don't worry about the game. Put your arms around my neck.
Tabitha: That kay -- you could do well taking after her, baby cakes.
Sheridan: Luis --
charlie: Shut up. I warned you about trying to escape.
Sheridan: My baby -- I need medical attention.
Charlie: I told you, that would be me, dr. "Do as I say or you'll be sorry." Come on.
Charlie: Yeah, right, like loverboy's going to hear that pathetic mewing sound. Oh!
Sheridan: Luis --
tabitha: For you and miguel on your ride to boston -- if you go, that is.
Charity: It all depends how kay is.
Tabitha: Something tells me that kay might have a relapse. Face it, miss butter-wouldn't-melt, your relationship with miguel is toast -- burnt toast.
Miguel: How does that feel?
Kay: Better, thanks. You need to get going if you're going to make it to the game.
Miguel: Yeah, you know, I did promise charity that we'd go. Are you sure you're ok now?
Miguel: Thanks for understanding.
Kay: It's the least I could do.
Miguel: I'll see you guys.
Simone: Surprise, kay. Your mean little scheme doesn't seem to be working.
Chad: All right, all right, all right.
Fox: Hey, you guys, what do you say after we eat, we take a dip in the ocean, huh?
Whitney: Oh, that sounds great. Let's do it.
Theresa: I love this place.
Chad: It's definitely the spot right now.
Fox: Yes, it is.
Theresa: Ok, will you dance with me?
Fox: Well, we haven't even gotten our table yet, theresa.
Theresa: Well, we'll just get it later. I just want ethan to see me dancing in your arms when he walks through that door. What do you say?
Fox: Whatever you say, babe. Your wish is my command.
Fox: Let's go.
Whity:Y: Yes, I will. Oh. Now, come on, do they look right for each other, or what?
Chad: All I know is you'd better be careful what you pray for.
Whitney: Oh, what is that supposed to mean?
Chad: Well, this matchmaking deal you got going on. I mean, theresa and fox -- they may look like t I ideal couple on paper, but just something about it doesn't feel right to me.
Whitney: Oh, please. You're just scared about ethan showing up tonight.
Chad: Yeah. I wish I wouldn't have told gwen where we were going tonight.
Ethan: You know what? I'll just find chad and whitney and tell them I changed my mind. I'm not up for an evening out. I'll just go back to the apartment and crash early. I don't need to spend five more minutes with theresa. And all this steterfuge is not fair to gwen. You know what? I don't even need to find whitney and chad. I'll just leave now and explain in the morning.
Sheridan: Please, please, my baby!
Charlie: Baby my foot. You just want a glimpse of loverboy. Well, give it up, princess, because you're not going to clap eyes on him ever again.
Sheridan: Luis! Luis!
Luluis: I do feel guilty thinking about sheridan at beth's baby shower.
Hank: Well, it's only natural, considering how much you love her, but you got to get past it.
Luis: I know, I know. It's only fair to beth. But I can't help wondering about where sheridan is right now. I mean, is she having the baby? Has she already had the baby? Is she with people who care about her? You know, I just hope that she is.
Mrs. Wallace: Bethie. Ooh. Thanks again. Beth, come here, honey. I would not be celebrating so freely because your guest in the basement opened the door again.
Mrs. Wallace: Yes. Charlie is with her right now. Things are spinning out of control.
Beth: No. No, they're not. You're just -- you're saying that to try and ruin my baby shower. I'm going to have a good time for once in my life. I'll check on sheridan later.
Grace: Oh, my gosh! Hello. Make yourself at home.
Hank: Have you all met precious, mrs. Wallace's caregiver?
Eve: That's incredible what they can do with service animals these days.
Beth: Well, you have no idea what a godsend precious has been for thther.
Grace: Oh, no, precious, I don't think you should be having that one. Yeah, sweetheart, I think maybe this is better. Here we go. Have some of this one. How's that? Better? There you go. Ok.
Beth: Ok, precious, I need you to go check on charlie and sheridan. Let me know how they're doing, ok? And, hey, give me my hat. Let's go. Whoops. Let's go.
Mrs. Wallace: This is a circus -- a very sick and twisted circus.
Beth: You start acting like a grandmother-to-be or you can get lost, mother.
Mrs. Wallace: I don't care how well you think you're pulling this thing off. Sheridan crane is about to give birth down in our basement, and luis will find her.
Luis: What did you say, mrs. Wallace?
What is the role of our military? On that, canadians are deeply divided. Those here see it one way; here another way. As you'll see with this national poll. Canadian opinion: How divided are we? It's on tonight's "global national" with kevin newman.
Singer: You are my passion for life
Theresa: Ok, all right, do you see him? Is he here yet?
Fox: Theresa, theresa, that's the tenth time you've asked me that in 10 seconds. Calm down.
Theresa: Ok, all right, all right. I just don't want to miss his entrance, you know. I just want to make sure we look our most intimate when he walks in the door.
Theresa: Ooh, boy! What was that?
Fox: Just following orders, ma'am.
Theresa: Ok, I said romantic, not ridiculous.
Fox: Well, I'll try to do better in the future.
Theresa: Oh. Ok, just pretend like -- like I'm one of the millions of women you have seduced in your career as a ladies' man.
Gwen: Hi, honey. Are you at the restaurant yet?
Ethan: Yeah, yeah, what's wrong? Do you need something? I can come right back if you need something.
Gwen: No, silly. I just wanted to make sure that you were keeping your word and you're going to try and have a good time tonight.
Ethan: Actually, I'm kind of tired.
Gwen: Don't back out now. Chad and whitney will be very disappointed.
Ethan: I don't know about that.
Gwen: Well, I will be if they aren'T. Honey, at least just stay and have something to eat with them, and you can go right back to the apartment if you're still feeling like a party-pooper.
Ethan: Honey, to tell you the truth, I don't even know if whitney and chad are here yet, so why don't I just get some take-out for both of us, I'll bring it back to thhohospital --
gwen: Sweetheart, I told you, I'm going right to sleep as soon as I hang up with you. You need this break, ok? I've been watching you since we've gotten to L.A., And instead of relaxing, you are getting more and more tense.
Ethan: I'm ju w worried about you.
Gwen: That's why I want you to stop thinking about me tonight and concentrate on yourself for a change. Is there something else bothering you? Honey, is there something you're not telling me?
Theresa: You do still love me. You do still want me. Don't deny it.
Ethan: I do still love you. I still want you more than ever. I --
theresa: I knew it. I knew you still loved me.
Ethan: Ther-- no, no, darling, everything's fine.
Gwen: Ok, then. Wait for chad and whitney to get there and have a fabulous dinner. I swear to you, that's what will make me rest easiest, knowing that you're in good company.
Ethan: If you only knew who that was with.
Luis: Well, I heard you say sheridan's name. What were you talking about?
Beth: Mother was just telling me that she hopes sheridan is doing well in paris, you know, having the baby and all because she knows that you still care about her.
Luis: Yeah, I care about her, but -- but I'm sure sheridan's all right. Come on, tonight is your night, right? How you doing? You having fun?
Beth: This is the best party of my life. Are you just hating every minute of it?
Luis: No, I think it's great that everyone threw this shower for you.
Beth: You mean for us.
Lu:: Yeah. Us. Right.
Grace: Well, so, beth, you know you still have more presents to open up.
Beth: Oh, ok.
Grace: So, beth, what do you think it's going to be, a boy or a girl?
Beth: Oh, I would be happy either way. What about you, luis?
Luis: Huh? Oh, I hadn't really thought about it that much. I mean, I would be happy if it's a boy or a girl.
Pilar: Well, the thing is they each bring their own joys, anyway.
Hank: I know my mother always thanked her lucky stars that she had boys. She thought girls were just too much trouble for her to handle.
Beth: That's not very nice, hank.
Grace: Well, you know, he might be right. I mean, noah was just always great and jess -- well, jessica's been good, but, I mean, you all know the troubles I've had with kay lately, so --
eve: Well, you're not alone, grace. Simone and whitney are not even speaking to each other.
Pilar: I guess I have to admit, theresa has been a handful.
Mrs. Wallace: They think their daughters were difficult. Mine is a monster, an evil spawn of darkness.
Pilar: Edna, I'm sorry, I didn't hear what you said.
Mrs. Wallace: Huh? Oh. I was just telling bethie how grateful I am that she's my daughter, that's all.
Grace: That's sweet.
Mrs. Wallace: Yeah. You can say that again.
Pilar: Mijo? You ok? You look troubled.
Luis: I'm just -- I'm having a hard time getting into the spirit, you know? I can't stop thinking about sheridan and if she's having her baby -- our baby right now. I can't stop thinking about her.
Pilar: I'm so sorry. I wish there was something I ululd do to help you.
Luis: There's nothing anyone can do. You know, sheridan went to paris. She's about as far away from me as she could get. And that's obvious -- you know, that's what she wanted to do. She made it pretty clear.
Charlie: Shut up! I'm trying to read the home delivery instructions.
Charlie: What the hell are you doing here? Oh. Oh, I get it. They sent you down here to check up on me -- as if you'd be any help.
Sheridan: Are you talking to someone?
Charlie: Yeah, myself, if it's y y of your beeswax.
Charlie: Houston, we have a problem. I think the kid's breech. Do you know what that means? It wants to come out feet or fanny first.
Sheridan: Something's wrong with my baby, isn't there?
Charlie: If you want this baby to be born, you'd better be quiet so I can think! Wait a minute. All right, everybody be calm.
Charlie: All right. Take this upstairs. Now, go on. Go on!
Sheridan: Something's wrong, I can feel it! Please, get me a doctor!
charity: Tabitha, if miguel comes downstairs, can you just tell him I'm waiting outside?
Tabitha: . Will do.
Simone: All the schemes in the world can't keep miguel away from the woman that he really loves.
Miguel: What is it?
Kay: I'm fine. I'll be ok -- just go.
Miguel: Where does it hurt?
Kay: Miguel, just -- I'm fine. Go to the game, ok?
Miguel: Kay -- kay, just tell me where it hurts.
Ka I don't want to be a bother, miguel.
Miguel: You're not. Maybe I should call dr. Russell.
Kay: No. I'm ok, really. I have to be.
Miguel: What do you mean?
Kay: Miguel, I'm scared. I don't want to be a pblblem for you, but I'm just terrified.
Miguel: Well, I thought that tabitha said that the incision was still closed.
Kay: Oh, it is, but I'm still really sore, you know, from my fall down the stairs, and what if you weren't here? You know, I could have hurt myself even worse.
Simone: I think tabitha or I could have managed to have called 911.
Kay: Well, what if you weren't here, simone, and tabitha was in a different part of the house with the baby and couldn't hear me? I could have died, miguel. What would happen to maria then? What would happen to our little girl?
Simone: You and mielel both have mothers, you know.
Kay: That's not the same thing as your own parents, simone. Miguel, seriously, the last thing I want to do is mess up your plans, but I'm just really, really scared and I need you.
Miguel: It's all right. I understand.
Kay: I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I promised myself I wasn't going to bring this up, but at the hospital, you said you were going to be here for maria and I whenever we need you and --
miguel: And I will be.
Kay: And I need you now. I need you more now than I've ever needed you berere, miguel.
Simone's voice: You are some piece of work, kay.
Miguel: It's going to be ok.
Beth: Oh! And it's yellow! It's perfect for either a boy or a girl. Luis, did you see?
Luis: It's very cute.
Beth: Oh. Um -- I'll be right back. Excuse me.
Mrs. Wallace: Excuse us.
Beth: What's going on downstairs?
Mrs. Wallace: What's going on?
Beth: "I think sheridan's baby may be breech."
Mrs. Wallace: Good lord, no.
Beth: Why? Is that bad?
Mrs. Wallace: Oh, oh. Those deliveries are difficult even with a crack medical team, and I am not sure that charlie has any idea which orifice a baby comes out of.
Beth: Well, what about those home delivery pages that we printed off the internet?
Mrs. Wallace: Shh. They only work for a normal, regular delivery, not a complicated one like this.
Beth: Well, just go get the ones for this.
Mrs. Wallace: How? How am I supposed to do that when the computer is in the living room?
Beth: Oh, god, I wish I knew a doctor I could call and ask. I do.
Mrs. Wallace: Huh?
Beth: Eve -- and she's here. I'm going to go ask eve, then we can have precious go down and tell charlie what to do.
Mrs. Wallace: What? Like that is going to work? Precious may be bright, but her vocabulary is not too extensive. Besides, everyone in there is going to get suspicious when you start pumping dr. Eve for information.
Beth: Not if I do it the right way. Eve. I am so glad that you're here. Oh, I have to tell you, I -- I've been a little shy asking my doctor some questions -- about the baby, I mean.
Eve: Oh. You don't need to be, honey. Dr. Culver will answer any questions that you have.
Beth: Maybe, but I just -- I feel smumuch more comfortable with you. And I know it may seem silly, but I've been doing a lot of reading, you know, leading up to the baby's birth, and I got to tell you, I'm getting sort of nervous.
Eve: Oh, sweetie, that is so natural, and I can assure you that --
beth: Yeah, but I know that there are a lot of things that could go wrong, even at the last minute. Like those breech births? I mean, what is that, and what does a doctor do when that happens?
Mrs. Wallace: Cool as an icicle, that one. No warm blood running through those veins.
Sheridan: I can feel it -- something is wrong with the baby! Please get me to a doctor!
Charlie: Shut up!
Charlie's voice: This baby doesn't stand a snowball's chance in hell. Beth's going to kill me if it dies.
miguel: How's that?
Kay: Almost perfect. Can you just raise it a little more?
Simone: How low can you go?
Kay: Miguel, I feel really guilty about you being so late to the game.
Miguel: I'm not going to go.
Kay: What? Miguel, no. Now I feel really bad. Come on.
Miguel: Well, don'T. Don't feel bad, ok? I mean, there's going to be plenty of other baseball games. What's most important is your health.
Kay: I feel like such a baby for even needing you to be here.
Miguel: Don't be silly.
Kay: I just don't feel as safe with anybody else as io with you. Are you sure you don't mind giving up your evening?
Miguel: I made a promise, and I'm going to keep it. You're the mother of my child, you know, so whatever you need, I'm here for you.
Tabitha: Take a good look, endora. She's one of our sworn enemies. She's one of their messengers of goodness and light. Ickyicicky. Of course, kay wasn't born with all of your dark side genes, but she's doing a damn good job ripping charity and miguel asunder, isn't she? Yes. And of course, the more successful she is, the safer you and I are. But if she has any trouble, then, of course, you and will step in.
Tabitha: Oh. Oh, my precious little demonette. You don't have to do anything now. No, no. I shall tell you when we need to use your powers. Yes, yes, yes. I'll tell you when we need to use your powers.
Charity: What am I doing? Miguel and I aren't going to be together tonight. We're not going to be together ever again.
Whitney: Oh, come on. Why are you so down on theresa getting involved with fox?
Chad: Well, do you want the short list or the long list?
Whitney: Just give me one good reason.
Chad: Aside from the fact that it's a dangerous idea to mess around in other people's love lives?
Whitney: Who's messing around with anyone's love life? I'm just trying to put together two very nice people who I know can make each other happy.
Chad: Look, just because fox has the hots for theresa doesn't mean they have a prayer of a future together.
Whitney: You know, chad, I've never known you to be so negative about romance.
Ethan: Sweetie, are you sure you have everything that you need?
Gwen: For the last time, yes. Now, you be a good boy and you try and have some fun. I'm going to go to bed now. And, you know, after dinner, you and chad -- you can go back to the apartment and you can watch a ballgame or something.
Ethan: Why are you being so silly?
Gwen: Oh, I guess because I feel so relaxed. Even being in this stupid hospital bed, I feel so much more relaxed than I was in harmony.
Gwen: Just knowing that theresa is clear across the country, it gives me such a feeling of freedom. You know, I had almost forgotten what it felt like not to have her shadowing my life and my husband. Oh, honey, for the first time in years, I don't have to worry about her trying to make a play for you.
Ethan: Good night, sweetheart. Get some rest.
Pilar: So, did your doctor tell you that the baby may be turned around?
Beth: No. No, nothing like that. I've probably just been doing too much reading and then I suddenly got nervous. I mean, but it could happen to anyone, right?
Luis: Well, is this true, dr. Russell?
Eve: Well, it could, but it's really not all that common, and your doctor would know long before you got to the delivery room.
Beth: But what if the doctor didn't know? What if nobody knew until the baby was just coming out and -- I mean, what would you do then?
Eve: Well, in that case, it would be quite serious. It requires the assistance of a trained physician or a nurse midwife.
Beth: But what if no one like that was around?
Eve: Well, then I'm afraid the baby and the mother could die.
Sheridan: Dear god! Please help me and my baby! Oh! Oh!
Charlie: He better because I sure don't know how.
Whitney: You know what? I wish there was something I could do to make you feel better.
Chad: Chad's working. Do you think he'd mind if I danced with you?
Whitney: I don't think he would mind at all.
Ethan: I could never love gwen the way that I love you. Please come back to me.
Tabitha: I'm your friend.
Charlie: The hell you are.
