Whitney: Oh, my god. What is going on?

Chad: Ththere's some guy in the bed with theresa.

Whitney: Oh, what --

fox: What the hell?

Theresa: What?

Ethan: What?

Theresa: Ethan.

Ethan: Theresa.

Ivy: Oh. Who knew these things were so complicated?

Ivy: Oh! Ouch! Oh, goodness!

Ivy: Oh. David, it's you.

David: Good to see you, too, ivy. What are you doing?

Ivy: Well, I thought that when sam got home he might be hungry.

David: I'm sure grace will be, too.

Ivy: Oh. Her.

David: Imagine ivy crane actually stooping to enter a kitchen, much less, prepare anything. Oh, anything to endear yourself to sam.

Ivy: Anything to get him into my bed.

Ivy: Oh. Oh, that must be them.

Sam: Jessica?

Jessica: Mom, dad. How are kay and the baby?

Grace: Kay's fine, sweetie, and it looks like your niece has made it through the worst of it.

Jessica: That's such great news. I was so scared when I saw her. The baby's so small.

Sam: Well, modern medicine sure has come a long way in saving premature babies, but she's not out of the woods yet.

Jessica: I'll keep praying for her.

Eve: T.C.'S not upstairs. Now, where could he be?

Eve: He must be out back.

Eve: What are you doing?

Charlie: Time to bundle up blondie and get the hell out of here.

Charlie: Oh, my god. If sheridan's not here, where is she?

Sheridan: Oh!

[Sheridan pants]

Sheridan's voice: I have to escape, get help for my baby.

Luis: All right.

Beth: Yay.

Mrs. Wallace: Excuse me.

Luis: Mm-hmm.

Mr w wallace: Whoo!

[Mrs. Wallace chuckles]

Beth: Oh. Well, doesn't this look good.

Luis: Mm-hmm.

Mrs. Wallace: Yeah, especially those pickles. You know how much the baby loves the pickles.

Luis: Mmm.

Beth: Whoo. Mmm. Yum-yummy.

[Mrs. Wallace gasps and pants]

Luis: Mrs. Wallace! Mrs. Wallace! Beth? Mrs. Wallace?

Singer: I would hold the hand of the one who could lead me places and kiss the lips of the one who could sing so sweet and i would fly on the wings of the bird I knew could take me highest breathe in, breathe out you keep me alive you are the fire burning inside of me you are my passion for life

eve: I asked you a question, damn it!

Liz: Did you?

Eve: What are you doing out here, liz?

Liz: Coolg g off. It's sweltering tonight.

Eve: You have an air conditioner in the garage apartment.

Liz: It's broken, so I came outside to cool off. Do you have a problem with that, eve?

Eve: I have a problem with everything that you do.

Liz: Well, I have a problem with everything that you've done.

Eve: Don't start with me, liz.

Liz: Too late. I already have.

Eve: Oh, really? And what is that supposed to mean?

Liz: Hmm.

Eve: Have you seen T.C.? He's not in the house.

Liz: You must have just missed him. He was out here, keeping me company.

T.C.: Eve, where are you?

Beth: Mother? Mother, wake up.

Luis: Sheridan?

Beth: What?

Luis: I know it's going to sound crazy, but I just felt like sheridan was in the room.

Luis: Whoa. That is the strangest feeling.

Beth: Mother, wake up.

Luis: It was like sheridan was right here in this room.

Beth: Obviously, she can't be, luis. Sheridan is in paris. We both know that. And then you saw that tape --

luis: I know, the D.V.D. But I'm telling you, it was the strongest feeling.

Beth's voice: No!

Jessica: I thought my heart was going to break when they told us the baby had died.

Grace: Yeah, mine, too, sweetheart. I know what it's like to lose a child.

Sam: Yeah, well, thank god didn't lose the baby.

Grace: Yeah. When eve came out and said the baby was alive and breathing again, I just couldn't belie e it.

Sam: It really was a miracle, wasn't it?

Grace: Yeah. God heard our prayers.

Jessica: Kay must be so relieved.

Grace: Hmm.

Sam: Yeah, miguel, too. And I was really impressed with the way he stood by kay throughout her labor and c-section.

Grace: Yeah, it was really tough for kay, but she held strong, and I'm really proud of her.

Jessica: So am I. She and I have sure had our differences over the years, but it's obvious that she loves her baby, and I couldn't be more thrilled for her. I mean, can you believe it? Kay has a baby. I have a niece.

Ivy: Ahem. Why, I don't mean to intrude, but I heard your voices, and well, judging by your faces -- thank you -- you all must have some good news.

Sam: Well, very good news. Kay and the baby are doing well.

Ivy: Oh. I'm so relieved. I talked to one of the nurses before I left, and she said with preemies sometimes it's just touch and go, and I was just afraid the baby might take a turn for the worse after I'd gone.

Grace: Ivy, what are you doing here, and shouldn't you be in your apartment?

Ivy: Well, I knew that you and sam were too anxious to eat at the hospital, so I made you both something. I know you've had a long, trying day.

Sam: Thank you, ivy. That was very thoughtful.

David: I saw your car lights pulling up. How are kay and the baby?

Grace: They're both doing well, david, thank you.

Ivy: Oh. I'm so relieved. My heart just goes out to kay in this trying time.

Sasam: We appreciate it, ivy.

Grace: Ivy, so what are you doing up this late? Shouldn't you be getting your beauty sleep?

Ivy: Oh, I couldn't possibly sleep. No, I'm far too concerned about kay.

Grace: You're concerned about kay? Really?

Ivy: Yes, really. In fact, I was so concerned that I -- well, I stopped by the church to pray for kay and her baby. I'm just so thankful that my prayers were answered.

Grace: You stopped by the church to pray for kay and her baby?

Ivy: Yes.

Grace: Liar.

Ethan: Theresa, what are you doing here?

Theresa: What are you doing here?

Ethan: Why aren't you in harmony?

Theresa: Why aren't you?

Ethan: Ok, this isn't getting us anywhere. You go first.

Theresa: I came here to visit chad, whitney, and fox. Why are you here?

Ethan: We found a doctor who specializes in gwen's medical condition. He's out here in L.A., So we flew out.

Theresa: So gwen is here, too? And where is she?

Ethan: She's at the hospital. We got here to the apartment, and she started having pains. We didn't even get a chance to come inside. And I called an ambulance. We went right to the hospital. Luckily, it was only a few blocks away.

Theresa: How is she doing?

Ethan: She's fine. Well, the doctor managed to stop her contractions, but to be on the safe side, he's keeping her overnight for observation. That's why I'm here. I came here to crash, because julian said that we could use the apartment whenever we needed to.

Fox: Well, that would have been great if you'd let me in on that little tidbit.

Ethan: Wait a minute. What are you all doing here?

Chad: Well, whitney and I heard a noise coming from here.

Whitney: Yeah, I was worried that theresa forgot where she was and fell or something, but --

fox: Yeah, well, I heard the noise, too, so I just kind of came in.

Ethan: No, no. I meant what are you doing here in los angeles?

Chad: My job at the record company.

Ethan: Right.

Chad: Yeah, whitney and I were going to stay in a hotel, but fox insisted that we stay here until we find our own place.

Ethan: Mm-hmm.

Whitney: So, here we all are.

Ethan: Yeah.

Theresa: Yeah. This is great, isn't it? I just remembered something. You know, that -- that was your luggage that we found just outside your door.

Ethan: Yeah, yeah. We were in such a hurry to get to the hospital, I just left it.

Theresa: This is amazing. I mean, ethan, I had this really strong feeling that you were just outside the door, but, I mean, I couldn't see how it was possible, you know? This is -- this is a coincidence.

Chad: Coincidence? I mean, ethan and theresa were 3,000 mis s apart. Now they're in the same bed together, kissing.

Fox: Yeah. Ok. Great. Wonderful, perfect. Now that we all know why everyone's here and what we're doing, maybe you could explain to us what you're doing in bed all over each other, kissing.

T.C.: What happened to us, eve?

T.C.: Whoo. T.C., You got to stop thinking about liz this way.

Eve: Where's T.C.?

Liz: Eve, are you hard of hearing? I've told you. You just missed him. He went inside to get us some more lemonade to help cool us off.

Eve: Lemonade?

Liz: You're so suspicious, eve. Don't you trust your own husband?

Eve: Of course I trust my husband. I trust him completely.

Liz: Such a trusting soul.

Eve: I trust T.C. It's you I don't trust. I wouldn't put anything past you.

Liz: What do you mean? Like kissing your husband on this very same chaise in your own backyard while you were at yet another emergency at the hospital?

Eve: Oh, shut up, liz.

Liz: Oops. Hit a nerve.

Eve: Please, T.C. Would never lower himself to someone like you.

T.C.: I got us some more lemonade. Listen, liz, we really need to tal--

eve: T.C.

T.C.: Eve. I was just bringing liz some more lemonade.

Eve: So I see. I'm surprised that you're up so late. I was sure that you'd be asleep by now.

T.C.: It was too hot. I couldn't sleep. Liz couldn't sleep, either, so, you know, we both ended up out here together trying to cool off.

Liz: Thanks, but it really didn't work very well. We both ended up getting hotter than ever.

Luis: It is like sheridan is so close.

Beth: Well, that's impossible. See -- no one's there.

Luis: Well, I don't get it. I could have sworn someone else was in the room and that that someone was sheridan.

Beth: Oh, nope, nope. Nobody else here except precious and mother, of course. Maybe something triggered a memory of sheridan and you wished so badly that she was here, you know, you almost sensed her.

Luis: I don't know. I don't know about that. I'm telling you, this was a really strong feeling.

Beth: Well, she isn't here. It has to have been your imagination.

Luis: No.

Beth: Yes.

Luis: Yeah, you're probably right. I wanted sheridan to be here so badly that I imagined it, right?

Beth: Yeah.

Charlie: Can't get blondie out of the basement and into my car with luis in the house. She'll just have to stay in the pit.

Sheridan: Oh! Oh. Oh. Oh! Help me! Please, I'm in labor! Please help me now!

Some cities pay nothing to university labs for west nile testing. The city of ottawa pays thousands to a private firm and gets a more thorough job. How long before all health officials learn that you can't bite city hall? Global national tonight.

Singer: You are my passion for life

ivy: I don't understand, grace. You're calling me a liar. Why?

Sam: Grace, this isn't the time.

Jessica: It's ok, daddy. I'll just go in the kitchen and get us all something to drink.

Sam: Great.

Jessica: Plus, I want to call one of my friends and tell her about my new job.

Ivy: What job is that, jessica?

Jessica: I'm going to be a mark rep.

Ivy: The cosmetic company? How chic.

Jessica: I know. I can't wait to start. Oh, here, look at this.

Ivy: Oh.

Grace: Ooh.

Jessica: The products are really hot.

Ivy: Cute.

Jessica: Shimmers, lip-gloss, eyeliner. The colors are really cool. And the best part is the products are interchangeable.

Grace: You know what? This is just such a wonderful opportunity for you, jessica, and you're going to make money for college.

Jessica: And clothes and C.D.S.

Jessica: Whatever I want. So then I won't have to ask you and dad for money every time I want something.

Grace: There you go.

Sam: Now, that's a plus.

Jessica: And I don't even have to go into an office or work in a shop just folding clothes all day. I can sell at the beach, after school, have friends over for a mark-selling party. And once everyone tries the products, I know they're going to love them. I mean, they're going to be calling me for orders. They can even order online. And the best part is I get to be with my friends and make money.

Sam: That is great, sweetheart.

Grace: You're so good.

Sam: Really, that is really great.

Jessica: Well, I'm going to go get us all some iced tea.

Sam: Good idea.

David: Oh, I'll give you a hand.

Ivy: Oh. What a splendid daughter you have, sam. In fact, you have done a wonderful job with both of your daughters.

Grace: You know, ivy, enough with the phony sentiment.

Ivy: I was just saying --

grace: You know, I don't believe a word out of your mouth. Everything that you say is a lie, as if you would ever go to church and pray for kay.

Ivy: I did.

Grace: Ivy, really, just stop already, ok? Enough with the innocent act. I've seen it too many times. There is no way I'm going to believe that you went to church and prayed for my daughter and grandchild.

Ivy: Well, I did. My heart goes out to kay, a young woman with a child, not married to the baby's father.

Grace: That's enough, ivy!

Ivy: Well, it's a terrible position to be in. I remember what it was like when ethan was born and I didn't have sam to share the joy or the fear.

Sam: You never told me you were pregnant, ivy, remember?

Grace: No, she didn'T. She chose to marry julian, let him think that he was the father of ethan so that she can enjoy all the pleasures of being a crane wife.

Ivy: That's not true. Whatever I did I did for ethan.

Grace: Oh, wait, you know, the fact of the matter is is that you lied about ethan's paternity for years, so I have no absolutely no sympathy for you, ivy.

Ivy: I'm not asking you for sympathy, grace. I'm just telling you I was concerned for kay and her child.

Grace: You know what? You don't give a damn about either one of them.

Ivy: Ok, look, let's move on to something else, ok? Kay and the baby are fine, and that's all we should be thinking about.

Grace: I know, sam. You know what? You're right. It just -- it makes me so mad when she pretends to care about kay and the baby, when the only person that she cares about is herself!

Ivy: That is so unfair, grace. I do care about kay and the baby. I did go to church to pray for them!

Grace: I don't believe you.

[Ivy scoffs]

Ivy: Ask david.

David: Ask me what?

Ivy: About the church. He'll verify that I was there. He saw me outside and he gave me a ride home. Go ahead, ask him. He'll tell you.

Fox: Pretty simple question, guys. What's the deal with you two being in flagrante?

Ethan: For god's sakes, fox, nothing is going on, all right?

Theresa: No, I had no idea that I was really kissing ethan. I just -- I thought I was dreaming.

Ethan: So did I.

Fox: Huh. You thought that you were dreaming about making love to theresa, even though you're married to gwen --

ethan: No. No, no, no. I said I don't remember what I was dreaming.

Fox: No, but you just said two seconds ago --

hthan: No, I said I was dreaming. I just don't know what I was dreaming about.

Fox: Well, how convenient.

Ethan: I never remember my dreams.

Fox: Do you remember how you managed to crawl in bed together?

[Ethan sighs]

Ethan: We didn't even kno we did.

Theresa: No, yeah, I mean, I've been asleep for a while and I just -- obviously, I didn't hear him come in.

Fox: Obviously.

Ethan: No, it's true. I was so exhausted when I came in, I didn't even turn the light on. I just took my clothes off in the dark, got in bed. I didn't even know she was on the other side of the bed.

Fox: Huh. You actually said that with a straight face.

Ethan: Well, that's because it's the truth.

Theresa: Yeah, right, we wouldn't make something like this up.

Chad: Whatever. Ok, we're all here now, so what are we going to do? Where's everyone going to sleep?

Ethan: That's an easy one, chad. I'm going to go get a hotel.

Theresa: No, no, no, no, no. You don't -- ethan, please, you stay here. There's plenty of room.

Whitney: Oh, no, no. There's not enough room, theresa. There's only three bedrooms here. One for chad and me and fox and the third one's for you.

Ethan: Oh, whitney is right. I need to leave.

Theresa: Well, then, I'll just sleep on the sof in the living room. It's ok. You can stay here.

Ethan: I would never let you do that.

Theresa: Ethan, didn't you just tell me that this is very close to the hospital, and don't you want to be nearby the hospital?

Ethan: Yes, I want to be nearby gwen, but --

theresa: And you look extremely exhausted, ethan.

Ethan: Yes, I'm tired from the trip, and if --

theresa: Ok, then, it's settled. You're staying.

Ethan: All right. I'm too tired to argue about this. I'll stay. Fox, you don't mind if I bunk with you, do you?

Fox: Yeah, yeah, I do, just a little bit.

Ethan: Yeah, well, get over it. Let's go.

Theresa: Night, ethan. I'll see you in the morning.

Theresa: Didn't I tell you! Didn't I tell you fate would bring ethan and me back together again!

Whitney: Yeah, yeah, you did tell me.

Theresa: Ok, this is just too good to be true. Whitney, we were back in bed together, and we were kissing!

Whitney: No, no, no. No, ethan was dreaming, honey, and not about you.

Theresa: Oh, yes, he was. I could tell. He just didn't want to admit it!

Whitney: Oh, no, this is going to be trouble. I can see it.

Theresa: Oh, no, no, no, it isn'T. It's the way it's supposed to be. Fate brought ethan to me, whitney.

Whitney: Ok, fate brought ethan to california to be with his pregnant wife, not to be with you, honey. And I knew you would take it this way.

Theresa: Oh, what does it matter why ethan is here? All that matters is that he's here. Ethan and I are back together again.

Ethan: So, when do you start your new job?

Chad: Well, I already have. I was in the studio today working with a new singer.

Ethan: Really? That soon?

Chad: Yeah, you know, I don't mind. You know, that's why I'm here -- to work.

Ethan: Yeah. Well, I know you're going to be a huge success out here, man.

Chad: I hope so. You know, I just want to make sure I give a whitney a good life.

Ethan: You will. I'm so happy for you and whitney. I mean, you guys have been through so much together.

Chad: Yeah, we have. You know, I just wish I could spend a little time with her today.

Ethan: Well, listen, and I know your new job is important to you and you want to be a success, but all that success isn't going to mean anything if you don't have the woman that you love by your side.

Chad: I hear that.

Ethan: There's no amount of money can make up for losing -- longng the love of your life. You guys do what it takes to be together, you know?

Chad: Right.

Ethan: You know what I could use? A drink. You got any beer in here?

Chad: Yeah, yeah, I'll grab us all some.

Ethan: Thanks.

Fox: Ahem, so -- I mean, I'm not sure who you think you're fooling, but it ain't me, pal.

Ethan: What are you talking about?

Fox: Well, I'm not an idiot. I mean, I know what's going on here.

[Ethan scoffs]

Ethan: What's that?

Fox: Well, it's no accident that you ended up almost making love to theresa.

Ethan: All right, now, wait a minute, fox, all right?

Fox: No, you know what? You crawled into bed with her because you still have the hots for her. Love to cool down

Eve: I'm sorry that I was caught up so long at the hospital. Kay had her baby early. Yeah, she had a beautiful baby girl.

T.C.: So, how are they doing?

Eve: Well, the baby was born so premature that her lungs weren't fully formed. We thought we were going to lose her. As a matter of fact, she was pronounced dead at one point.

T.C.: Oh, dear god!

Eve: But by some miracle, she pulled through it all.

T.C.: Well, I'm sure that sam and grace were really worried.

Liz: And kay.

T.C.: I bet she went through hell.

Liz: Oh, honey, it was agony for them. But now that the baby's stabilized, everyone's just thrilled as well as relieved.

T.C.: I bet.

Liz: What an ordeal.

T.C.: Yeah, but a happy ending.

[Pager beeps]

Eve: Oh. Oh, it's the hospital. Let me just return this call. I won't be long.

Liz: Take your time.

T.C.: Liz, I want to apologize.

Liz: For what?

T.C.: Earlier -- I mean, what happened between us.

Liz: Oh, T.C., No apology necessary.

T.C.: Liz, I shouldn't have kissed you. I'm a married man. I don't want to take advantage of you.

Liz: You didn't, T.C. I told you, I find you very attractive.

T.C.: Yeah, but, liz, I was wrong.

Liz: T.C., I enjoyed every minute we spent together.

T.C.: Liz, I did, too, but -- but it shouldn't have happened, and, you know, I'd really appreciate it if you wouldn't mention this to eve.

Liz: Whatever you want.

T.C.: Yeah, because the way, you know, thing have been going on with her and I with whitney leaving town and -- you know, I don't think that she could, you know, handle, you know, hearing about you and -- you know --

liz: Us?

T.C.: Yeah.

Liz: Don't worry, T.C. My lips are sealed.

Luis: And that was so real, beth. I'm telling you, I could have sworn that sheridan was here!

Beth: No, no.

Luis: Yes!

Beth: No!

Luis: Yeah --

beth: Look, sheridan is not here. No one else is here, ok? Sheridan is in paris. We're the only ones here.

[Mrs. Wallace moans]

Luis: Oh, your mom's coming to. Hey.

Mrs. Wallace: Oh --

beth: Mother?

Luis: You all right? Easy.

Mrs. Wallace: Ooh -- oh.

Luis: Ok.

Mrs. Wallace: Oh. Oh, my goodness. Where -- where -- where is she?

Luis: Who?

Mrs. Wallace: Her -- her -- her --

luis: Ok, did you sense sheridan, too, mrs. Wallace?

Mrs. Wallace: What?

Beth: No! Of course she didn'T. We all know that sheridan isn't here. Sheridan is in paris. Mother was talking about me. I'm the only "her" that's here.

[Precious makes loud noise]

Beth: Well, except for precious, of course. Sorry, precious.

[Precious blows raspberry]

Luis: Do you want to stand up?

Mrs. Wallace: Oh. Ok.

Luis: All right, all right, easy.

Mrs. Wallace: Ooh, boy.

Luis: You all right? Huh?

Mrs. Wallace: Yeah.

Luis: You feeling better?

Mrs. Wallace: Yeah, I'm feeling a lot better.

Luis: Good, because one minute, you know, you were standing there, and then you went and you looked pale, like you'd seen a ghost.

[Mrs. Wallace chuckles]

Mrs. Wallace: More like the walking dead!

Beth: Shh!

Luis: What?

Mrs. Wallace: Huh? Oh, just saying that -- my knees -- I think they just went weak on me. You know, the room started to spin, and I -- I guess it was vertigo, you know. But I'm -- I'm -- I'm ok now.

Luis: Shall I call the doctor?

Mrs. Wallace: No. No, thank you.

Luis: Ok.

Mrs. Wallace: I'm -- I'm ok.

Luis: Good. Good. Hi, pre-- hi -- precious? Hi! Hi -- hi. Ok -- that --

beth: Listen to me. I have got to get rid of luis so I can get wnwn in the basement and check on sheridan and make sure she's not having the baby!

Mrs. Wallace: Well, five will get you 10 that she is!

Beth: Look, I want you to get busy on the internet. Find out if there is a way that we can, like, stop her contractions.

Mrs. Wallace: Are you nuts? If sheridan is in labor -- and I am sure that she is -- there will be nothing, nothing atat will stop those contractions. She'll be having that little baby right down in the pit in our basement!

Beth: No, no, she's can't! It's too soon!

Sheridan: Help me, please! I am in labor and I'm going to have a baby now!

Charlie: [Disguised voice] No, you're not.

Sheridan: The contractions --

charlie: Do something to stop them or I'll take you to the car right now.

[Sheridan pants]

Sheridan: Why? Is someone there who will stop you?

Charlie: No.

Sheridan: Oh! Is it luis?

Charlie: You shutouour yap and pray you're not in labor, that it's only braxton-hicks.

Sheridan: Oh! Oh! Oh!

Charlie: Use your lamaze breathing exercises.

Sheridan: Oh!

Charlie: Here. It'll pass --

sheridan: Ooh!

Charlie: Trust me.

We go to spas

Theresa: Ethan and I are going to be together again. I knew it! I knew it, I knew it, I knew it, I knew it! I knew it!

Whitney: You know, I hate to be the one to take the wind out of your sails --

theresa: Oh, you can't, whitney!

Whitney: B but I don't see that you have anything to celebrate, theresa.

Theresa: Ethan is here.

Whitney: With gwen, his wife, who's at the hospital right now trying to save her baby. Doesn't that mean anything to you?

Theresa: Of course it does. I want gwen to carry her baby to term. I want her to have a healthy babyanand I mean that from the bottom of my heart. I want her to have a beautiful, perfect, happy child.

Whitney: Ok, great. So in order for that to happen, gwen is going to need ethan by her side.

Theresa: Don't you think I know that? I mean, honey, it's one of the reasons why I came to los angeles -- to give them time alone.

Whitney: Ok, great. So do it. Leave ethan alone.

Theresa: I am! Hey, look, I can't help it that ethan and gwen just happened to find a doctor here in los angeles. I came here to get away from them, ok? And it's not my fault that we just happened to end up together in california.

Whitney: No, no, it isn't, but do you honestly expect me to believe that it's not your fault that you and ethan were in this bed kissing, about to make love just now?

Theresa: I told you I was dreaming.

Whitney: Yeah, I know what you told me.

Theresa: Whitney, in my dream, I was about to make love to ethan, ok? And I haven't had a dream like that in I don't know how long, and I was not about to wake up from it!

Whitney: I don't believe you.

Theresa: Well, it's the truth, whitney, I swear.

Whitney: Ever since little ethan was born, you told me that you've been having trouble sleeping, thinking that you were going to hear him cry or call out your name.

Theresa: Yeah, so I'm a light sleeper. So?

Whitney: So, if you're such a light sleeper, how did you not know that you were in bed with ethan, kissing him? There's no way you couldn'T.

Ethan: I do not have the hots for theresa, all right? For you to even suggest it is like --

fox: I'm not suggesting anything. I'm saying it straight out.

Ethan: Well, you couldn't be more wrong.

Chad: Whoa, whoa, whoa, fellows, here, please, drink up.

Fox: All right.

[Ethan sighs]

Ethan: I love my wife.

Fox: Oh, come on, ethan. You're protesting way too much.

Ethan: And you know what? Now -- now you're starting to make me mad, all right? Just --

fox: Remember when we were kids and I used to bunk in with you sometimes? If I so much as turned over in my sleep, this guy would wake up and you'd yell at me.

Ethan: So?

Fox: So, you're not that sound of a sleeper. And you're -- you're actually expecting us to believe that you were in bed with theresa and you just, you know, didn't even know it?

Ethan: Look, believe what you want. That's the truth.

Fox: Are you buying this?

Chad: Well -- I've got to admit, I mean, it's kind of hard to believe that you just got into bed with the woman you used to love so passionately.

Fox: And didn't even notice she was there, only kissed her because you were dreaming about her, right?

Ethan: That is exactly what happened.

Fox: I don't believe you.

Grace: Is it true, david?

David: What?

Grace: D d you pick ivy up at church and bring her back home?

T.C.: Eve!

Eve: Well, I called the hospital.

Liz: Another emergency?

Eve: No. I spoke to the night nurse. Kay and the baby are both doing just fine.

T.C.: Oh, that's great.

Liz: Wonderful news.

Eve: So, liz, I'd like to speak to my husband alone.

Liz: Oh.

Eve: I mean, you don't mind, do you?

Liz: No. Of course not. Actually, i think I feel like taking a nice walk. I always do when it's so hot.

Liz: Enjoy him while you can, eve, because very soon he's going to be all mine.

Luis: Beth?

Beth: Ok. Now, get on the internet, find out if there's any way possible we can stop the contractions fast!

Mrs. Wallace: Oh, you are such a wicked girl!

Luis: Beth, could you -- precious, please! Come on -- precious.

Beth: Precious?

Luis: Precious --

beth: Precious, come on. Didn't I tell you to fold the laundry? Well, go on! Go on!

[Beth sighs]

Beth: Look --

luis: Thank you.

Beth: Yeah. I know that you're probably anxious to get back to the police station, so --

luis: No.

Beth: Well, don't you want to clear up some last-minute things about the search, you know, for sheridan?

Luis: Not really. Look, now that I have seen the D.V.D. Of sheridan in paris, there's no reason for me to continue the search. All right, and, look, as much as I hate to admit it -- look, sheridan chose to leave harmony on her own and go to paris without me. All right? Now, I hope and I pray that her and her baby are ok, but there's nothing that I can do for her.

Beth: But, still --

luis: No. Listen, there is something that I can do for you and for our baby. Ok? So I'm not going anywhere, all right? Now, I'm going to -- I'm going to stay right here with you, ok?

Sheridan: Oh! You have to help me!

Charlie: [Disguised voice] I'm giving orders, blondie, not you.

Sheridan: But I'm having contractions!

Charlie: Stop them.

Sheridan: I can't! I'm having a baby and I need a doctor now!

Charlie: Sorry. No can do. Just, you know, keep your legs crossed and pray for the best.

Sheridan: Oh. Oh.

Help me!

[Sheridan cries]

Sheridan: Oh!

T.C.: I don't know who you are these days. You seem like a stranger to me.

Ethan: I know how I feel about my wife. I love gwen and I would never cheat on her.

Mrs. Wallace: Sheridan could be giving birth to that little bambino as we speak!

Beth: No!
