Have omelets on the weekend liz...
Grace: Kay, please come home with us. I mean, tabitha needs to get to bed.
Kay: I'm not coming home. I already told you that. Not now, not ever.
Grace: Don't act like this. Look, it's late. We can talk about everything in the morning.
Kay: There's nothing to talk about. I'm sick of being called a liar.
Grace: Kay, there is a blizzard outside. Last time you went out, you fell, you hit your hea if you go outside there now, you know, you could freeze to death.
Kay: I don't care. And I'm sure you don't, either.
Sam: Kay, listen, please come home with us, ok? I know things are a little rocky at home, but we can work them out.
Kay: Daddy, I want to come home, all right? I -- I really, really do. I'm pregnant, you know? It would be great to have a roof over my head.
Sam: Hey, what's stopping you?
Kay: She is. Mom. Ok? And as long as mom's in the house, I am not going to come home.
Rebecca: With my powers of persuasion, julian cannot helputut be convinced to let ethan take over for him, but not if you and ethan move out of the mansion. Now, you know what they say -- out of sight, out of mind. Now, you have to keep ethan front and center if you want him to regain his position with the cranes.
Gwen: What you're saying actually makes sense, but I already told ethan I want to move out first thing in the morning.
Rebecca: Well, sweetie, it's a woman's prerogative to change her mind, so just tell ethan you've changed your mind, that's all. Go be quick about it.
Gwen: Ok. All right. I'll see what I can do.
Fox: If rebecca think she can get rid of theresa and get ethan the top job at crane industries, she can think again.
Rebecca: Once I give the informant $1 million and he gives the information he has on theresa, she and that little bambino of hers will be out on the street where they belong.
Theresa: Do you want to help me finish feeding little ethan?
Ethan: No, theresa. It's getting late and I have to finish packing.
Theresa: Say good night to your godfather, little hahan. Good night.
[Little ethan fusses]
Theresa: Oh, it's ok, baby. It's ok.
Ethan: I wish you the best. I hope you get what you want in life.
Theresa: I will get what I want, ethan. You will be mine again. I swear it.
Simone: I will stop whitney from stealing chad away from me, no matter what it takes.
Chad: What the hell --
Liz: Eve. Do you honestly believe that I was pretending to sleepwalk in some sort of outlandish attempt to seduce your husband?
Eve: That's exactly what I think.
T.C.: Wait a minute. Honey, come on. I mean, you think liz was trying to seduce me? Sweetheart, that's crazy.
Liz: I am so sorry. Truly, T.C., I apologize. Never in a million years would I do something like that. If I hadn't been sleepwalking --
T.C.: Liz, it's ok. I know you wouldn'T. Ok?
Liz: I can see why you misunderstood, eve, but I assure you I had no idea I was even in the house.
T.C.: Sweetheart, I know that this looks pretty crazy, but believe me, I mean, it was totally innocent. Liz was sleepwalking.
Liz: Yes, yes. I -- I've had this problem all my adult life. I even have medication f I it.
Eve: Really? Well, it doesn't appear to be working, does it?
Liz: I didn't take it tonight.
Eve: Well, why not? Oh, is it because you heard me leave and you figured I was going to the hospital?
Liz: No --
eve: And that it would be very convenient for you to just find yourself in my husband's bed?
Liz: Eve, it was nothing like that.
Eve: Then why didn't you take your medication? I'm sorry, could you speak up? Why didn't you take your medicine?
Liz: Because I'm afraid if I take it too often, I'll get addicted.
Liz: It's true. I've lived with this sleepwalking problem for so long, ever since my sister betrayed me and abandoned me. She left me stranded and did all sorts of awful things to me. It's so scary just to remember. Sometimes I close my eyes at night and all I can see is my sister's face laughing at me, mocking me.
T.C.: Liz, it's ok. You did nothing wrong. Nothing. Nothing wrong. Ok? It's all right.
Singer: I would hold the hand of the one who could lead me places and kiss theipips of the one who could sing so sweet and i would fly on the wings of the bird I knew could take me highest breathe in, breathe out you keep me alive you are the fire burning inside of me you are my passion for life
Whitney: Simone, what are you doing?
Chad: Why do you have that knife?
Simone: I got hungry, so I came down the back stairs for a snack. The bigger question is, what are you two doing down here in the dark in each other's arms?
T.C.: Sweetheart, you can see how upset she is. I mean, do you really think she wasn't sleepwalking, that liz was trying to come on to me?
Eve: Yes, I do.
Liz: Oh, eve, I feel so awful. I would never do anything to come between you and T.C. I'll do anything I can to prove it to you.
Eve: What's the name of the drug that you're taking for this so-called problem?
T.C.: Sweetheart, is that a drug someone would take for sleepwalking?
Eve: Yeah. But it doesn't prove anything because liz could have a physician's desk reference in her room for all we know.
Liz: Well, you can call my doctor back on st. Lisa'S. He'll tell you it's true.
Eve: Oh, I have every intention of calling your doctor.
T.C.: Liz, listen, you need to dry off. I'll get a towel and a robe for you downstairs.
Liz: Thank you, T.C.
Eve: You can drop the act now, liz, because you know I don't believe any of that stupid story. You may sleepwalk, but we know that that is not what you were doing here tonight. You and I both know that.
Liz: What was I doing, eve?
Eve: Trying to steal my husband, but I am not going to let you.
Liz: Oh? And how are you going to stop me? Are you going to stop going back to the hospital at night? Are you going to stop responding to emergen c calls?
Eve: I don't have to worry about leaving T.C. Alone because I trust him.
Liz: But you can't trust me. Or at least you shouldn'T. I am warning you, eve, you better never leave T.C. Alone in the house again, or else I might have to go back into a sleepwalking daze. Next time, though, eve -- next time we're not going to stop at kissing. Next time I am going to make love to your husband all night long.
[Knock on door]
Theresa: Maybe ethan's come back. Here.
Theresa: Oh. Fox.
Theresa: Hi. What do you want?
Fox: To talk.
Theresa: Tomorrow, ok? I'm tired.
Fox: You know what? I think you're going to want to hear what I have to say. It's -- it's about rebecca.
Theresa: Just keep it low, ok? I want him to get back to bed.
Fox: Yeah. No problem, but it's -- it's actually little ethan's mother I'm worried about.
Theresa: Why? What is rebecca up to now?
Fox: Well, I overheard her telling gwen that she had a surefire way to get rid of you for good.
Gwen: What are you doing?
Ethan: Packing. Remember? We decided to move out first thing in the morning.
Gwen: I know that's what we said, but I've been thinking.
Ethan: Thinking about what?
Gwen: I don't think we should move out. I mean, not just yet.
Ethan: Why not? Wait, did theresa do something I don't know about?
Gwen: No, no, no. No, this has nothing to do with theresa.
Ethan: Well, then, wh?? I mean, you we so determined to move out when she threw my mother out of the house. What -- what made you change your mind?
Sam: Kay, honey, you don't mean that.
Kay: Dad, I have never meant anything more in my entire life.
Ivy: This is going to work out wonderfully. Sam is bound to blame grace for keeping his daughter away from home in her condition.
David: Just be glad that neither one of them believed kay when she told them we were planning to break up sam and grace.
Charity: Kay, please come home.
Jessica: Please don't do this to mom, all right? Look, she loves you and she wants you to come home.
Kay: Jessica, she doesn't love me. She hates me. I can't put my unborn child through that stress anymore. I can't even take the negativity. She blames me for everything that goes wrong in her life. I've had it.
Grace: Kay, please don't shut me out like this. I love you.
Kay: Oh, no, you don'T. You don't care about me at all. Tube and into his stomach because he can't eat. The part of it is
Grace: Kay, that's not true. You're my daughter, and I love you.
Kay: You are such a hypocrite. You lay on the sweet stuff in front of everyone else, but when it's just me and you, you tell me how you really feel. You call me a liar. Mom, you don't even like me. You threw me out, remember?
Sam: No, she didn'T. She never meant to throw you out.
Kay: Yes, she did, dad. You know, I really can't take this right now, ok? I can't live with her.
Grace: So, where you going to go?
Kay: Oh, I don't know. Wait. Why can't I just stay here with tabitha?
Tabitha: With me?
Kay: Yeah. You've been all alone since your nephew, timmy, died, so I'm sure you could use the company.
Theresa: Well, I -- I don't know. I mean, I --
kay: Well, why not, tabitha? If you're really just our sweet, innocent neighbor and not a big, bad witch, what do you have to hide?
Simone: I hate to jump to conclusions, but it looked like you two were kissing. And it looked like you were about to do a whole lot more than just kiss.
Chad: Look, simone, I think it's time we --
whitney: No, chad, she completely misunrsrstood the situation, didn't she? It's not at all what you think it was. I came down here to get a little snack, just like you did, and in the dark I tripped over this stupid old coffee table and fell right on top of him. I must have completely scared you to death, right, chad?
Chad: Yeah, yeah. She about scared me half to death.
Whitney: And then he put his arms o to stop me, and I think -- I think he thought he was being attacked, right? And his arms went around me.
Simone: I feel like such a fool. I am so sorry for thinking the worst of you. I mean, I didn't know what to think when I saw you two like that. I should have known that neither one of you would ever try to hurt me like this. Oh -- oops.
Eve: How dare y,, you lying, evil little --
liz: I wouldn't do that if I were you. How would you explain it to T.C., Hitting your houseguest?
Eve: I'll tell him the truth. It's all going to come out anyway.
Liz: What are you talking about?
Eve: You, my past -- it's all coming back to haunt me, just like I knew it would.
Liz: How? Who else knows about your past besides me?
Eve: It doesn't matter. Just know that you are not going to be the one to tell T.C. I am going to tell him the truth myself -- tonight.
Liz: I don't believe you. I think you're just saying that to try to get rid of me.
Eve: Yeah, and I will be rid of you. Once I get rid of your power to hurt me, I'll be free. I'll be free of you forever. I can't wait.
rebecca: Things are going along swimmingly. Theresa is so smug after having thrown ivy out of the house that she does not suspect a thing.
Julian: Perfect. I've stashed the money. Excellent hiding places all over the house.
Julian: But really, I don't like having that much cash lying around. I do hope we hear fr your informant by morning so we can give him the money, get the information, and be done with it.
Rebecca: I hope so, too.
Julian: Think -- I'll be rid of that albatross around my marital neck.
Rebecca: Yes, and I will call the informant first thing in the morning, and hopefully it will be "adios, muchacha."
Theresa: So what did rebecca say? I mean, how does she think that she's going to get rid of me?
Fox: Yeah, you know that money that was throwalall over the place on the floor?
Fox: Yeah, well, rebecca is going to use it as a payoff to somebody.
Theresa: To who? A pay off for what?
Fox: Information on you. Apparently, very valuable information.
Theresa: But I haven't done anything.
Fox: Hmm. Rebecca seemed pretty sure that whatever this informant has on you is worth $1 million.
Theresa: Well, that's impossible because I haven't done anything wrong. I mean, they can't find anything. They're on this, like, wild-goose chase.
Fox: Maybe so, but rebecca's pretty convinced that this information is going to destroy you. I mean, she even -- she even convinced gwen not to move out tomorrow.
Theresa: She did? So ethan and gwen aren't going to move?
Fox: Nope. I mean, not if -- not if gwen can convince ethan to stay.
Theresa: Which will give me more time to work on getting ethan back. Oh, this is good. This is very good.
Ethan: What made you change your mind about moving out? I mean, you were so determined to get out of this house.
Gwen: Yeah, I still am. I do not want to live under the same roof as theresa, but there's a snag. My old apartment is being redecorated, and, you know, it's not even going to be big enough for the three of us once ththe baby comes. So I'm going to have to go apartment hunting, and that could -- I mean, that could take days. I mean, you know it's impossible to find a nice place in just a day.
Ethan: That's true.
Gwen: And, I mean, I'm sure, you know, we could find something temporarily, but it would really be just a waste of time and energy to move twice, right?
Ethan: I suppose so.
Gwen: Sweetheart, I know that you want to move out of here, too, especially after theresa was so cold-hearted to throw your mother out of the house.
Ethan: I still cannot believe that she did that to my mother.
Gwen: So I'm going to have to pound the pavement tomorrow. You know, it could take quite a few days to find the right place, so all I'm asking from you is that you're a little patient, ok?
Ethan: Of course. Whatever you want. Look, I will -- I will unpack, and you just let me know when you're ready to make the move.
Gwen: Thank you.
Tabitha: Sam, grace, I don't want to be uncharitable, but I'm not used to being around young people all the time, and I wouldn't want kay to be uncomfortable.
Kay: Oh, me? Tabitha, I'd be fine.
Tabitha: Llll, I'm sure you're a delightful young girl, but all that loud music, those rowdy teenagers hanging around --
sam: Kay, you just can't invite yourself to stay with tabitha.
Grace: Yeah, I mean, tabitha didn't invite you. And besides, we imposed on tabitha enough when we stayed here when our house was being rebuilt.
Kay: Oh, but I didn't stay here. I stayed at miguel'S.
Sam: The point is we don't want you to impose on her.
Kay: Tabitha, I'm so sorry. I don't want to impose, but it's just that -- you take me in, you old crone, or I will make sure everyone knows you're w witch.
Tabitha: You already told them, and they don't believe you.
Kay: Well, there's always a next time, isn't there?
A major avalanc I in british columbia. We do not know yet what triggered this one. There is a somber mood here today. All seven astronauts lost.
It's another one of those days when you'll remember where you were when you heard.
Singer: You are my passion for life
kay: If you don't cooperate and let me stay here, I'm going to show everyone this little butterfly. And you've already said they can't survive in wintertime. So what are you going to say now?
Tabitha: I'll think of something
kay: Oh, yeah.
Sam: Kay, don't try to pressure tabitha into letting you stay here, ok? It's not fair.
Tabitha: Oh, actually, I think kay's right. I could use some company. And it will mean she'll be right next door to h p parents, and I'm sure that will make grace feel better.
Grace: Well, yeah, I mean, if we can't make kay come home with us, at least we know she's safe here with you. Thank you, tabitha.
Tabitha: Oh, you're welcome. She's welcome here for a while.
Kay: Thanks, tabitha. You made the right decision.
Liz: What brought this on, eve? Who else besides me knows all about your horrible past? And why are you so willing to tell T.C. A a about it now?
Eve: Well, that's none of your business.
Eve: Dr. Russell.
Grace: Eve, hi. It's grace. You know, I wanted you to know that I think that bump on kay's head has caused her to hallucinate.
Eve: Oh, why is that?
Grace: Well, after you left, kay told us that she believes that tabitha is a witch. She described all kinds of crazy things that she saw tabitha doing that just couldn't possibly be true, so we know that we can't believe anything that she says. You know, I think the bump on her head really has her confused and disoriented.
Eve: Yeah, I suppose you could be right.
Grace: Well, I'm going to bring kay in for that checkup tomorrow, and I really think that you should look at her head because I think she might need a cat scan.
Eve: Of course. Just call me for an appotmtment in the morning.
Grace: Ok. Well, thank you, eve.
Eve: Oh, thank goodness.
Liz: Good news?
Eve: Maybe. I'm not sure yet.
Liz: Well, if you are so determined to tell T.C. The truth, then there's no time like the present.
T.C.: Liz, here's a towel to dry yourself off.
Liz: Thank you so much, T.C. Thank you for being so concerned about me.
T.C.: No problem.
Whitney: Hey. What's going on?
Simone: What's liz doing here?
T.C.: Liz was sleepwalking.
Simone: Gosh, that must be scary.
Liz: Yes, it is, simone.
Whitney: Well, how did you get all wet?
Liz: Well, that's a long story --
T.C.: Your mother saw her sleepwalking, and she threw cold water on her to wake her up.
Liz: Listen, I am sorry to be such trouble tonight.
Simone: I never met anyone who sleepwalks.
Eve: Neither have I.
Whitney: Well, what causes someone to sleepwalk, mom?
Eve: Oh, there's many underlying psychological problems.
Liz: Yes. And my problems were caused by my rotten sister. You know, I am glad that you're all here. I think it's time that I told you the complete, unadulterated truth about the woman who ruined my life. (Bell rings)
fox: Theresa, I don't think you understand. I mean, there's nothing good about what I heard downstairs.
Theresa: Ethan's not moving out. That's not just good, that is, like, wonderful news.
Fox: So you're not worried about my father or rebecca? You don't care that they're planning to spend $1 million to get damaging information on you?
Theresa: They're wasting their time and my money. There's nothing damaging that they can find out about me. Look, if you're going to survive around here, you've got to learn how to separate the wheat from the chaff.
Fox: Ok. Who's the wheat?
Theresa: Not julian and rebecca.
Fox: Well, I don't know, rebecca told gwen it was in the bag.
Theresa: Rebecca's just dreaming, ok? She can try to get rid of me all she wants, but she will fail. She always has in the past. In fact, I owe rebecca very, very big thank-you for getting ethan back in the house. All the easier for me to seduce him back into my bed.
Sam: Are you sure you want to do this?
Kay: Yes, dad, I'm sure. The ba a and I don't need any more stress, and mom only causes me stress.
Sam: Ok, well, I'm right next door if you need me, ok?
Sam: And thank you again, tabitha, for letting her stay here. Ok, everyone, les s take off.
Jessica: I love you.
Kay: Love you, too.
Grace: Kay --
kay: Mom, please. Don't, ok?
Liz: I guess what happened later wouldn't have hurt so much if I hadn't looked up to my sister so much. She was my idol. I loved her more than anyone in the world. Certainly more than my own parents. I felt protected by her. God knows I needed that protection desperately. One day, she just up and left. She deserted me to go off and waste her life on drugs and liquor and men. And the life she left me to live -- I can't even describe it. She could have saved me. She could have taken me with her and helped me escape the living hell I was in. But she didn't because she really didn't care what happened to me. E e only cared about herself.
T.C.: Liz, please tell us who this horrible woman is because I will make sure she's on the next bus out of town.
Liz: You should know who she is, T.C.
Eve: Liz, everyone makes mistakes. God knows I've made quite a few myself. I wish that I could rectify them, but I can'T. Usually these things have a way of working out over time in a way that you'd want, in a way that would make you happy. And your sister -- whoever she is or wherever she is -- I assure you, she's suffering, too, because of what she did to you.
Liz: Maybe. But I still want to make her pay, and I will. But right now, I've kept you all up too long tonight and you've been so kind to listen to my tale of woe, but I am going to go in my room, and I will take my medication, and I won't bother you again. Sorry.
Whitney: Yeah, I think I'm going to go ahead and go to sleep, too. Good night, mom.
Eve: Sleep tight.
T.C.: Good night.
Simone: Good night.
Eve: Good night.
T.C.: Sweetheart, do you still think that liz was fake sleepwalking.
Eve: No. No, I'm -- I'm just tired. I don't know what I was thinking.
T.C.: Good. Sweetheart, I am so sorry that you misunderstood. And, I mean, to be honest with you, I don't know what happened. I really feel bad for liz, but I missed you so much. I guess I thought that liz was you.
Eve: Oh, no, I'm sorry, sweetheart. I'm sorry that I just haven't been there for you. I promise I'll make more time for you. I promise.
T.C.: Baby, that's all I need to hear.
T.C.: Oh, no.
Eve: Oh, honey, I'm sorry. I've got to go.
T.C.: Yeah, go. Go! Go take care of everybody but your own family. Go!
fox: I still think you should be a little worried about this plot, theresa. I know my father. When he decides to ruin somebody, they're toast.
Theresa: I'm not afraid of julian. Ok, there's nothing that they can find out about me. I'm the legal mrs. Julian crane. I have the marriage license to prove it. I've got a child by him. There's no way they can toss me out of the house. I have the law and the police on my side. So relax. I'm not going anywhere.
Julian: And to freedom from tasty morsels who turn out to be poison.
Rebecca: Oh, yes, we are just one phone call away from sending that little chalupa south of the border and out of our lives forever.
Julian: Ooh. I do love it when you talk geography.
Tabitha: So, why didn't you show your parents that butterfly?
Kay: Well, the way they feel about me tonight, they wouldn't have listened, anyway. I'm going to wait until tomorrow when their heads are cleared, and I'm going to make them see the truth. Once they believe me about you being a witch, they'll believe me about david and ivy trying to destroy their marriage. It'll kill mom to find out her precious john isn't her son, and I can't wait to see her suffering just the way I've been suffering.
Jessica: Oh, it's cold.
Sam: Come on, come on. It's cold, let's go.
David: Well, it's late. We should get going, john.
John: All right. Good night, mom.
Grace: Good night, sweetie.
David: Good night.
Ivy: I'm sorry for all the confusion. I really think that bump on kay's head caused her to just make up all those preposterous stories. Don't you, david?
David: No doubt.
Grace: I just wish kay had come home with us.
Sam: Well, at least she's right next door so we can keep an eye on her.
Sam: Well, I guess we all should get to bed, too, huh?
Grace: So -- um -- where is ivy going to sleep?
Sam: Uh -- well, since kay's not here, I guess she could use kay's room.
Ivy: Anywhere's fine. Fine. I'm just grateful to have a roof over my head.
Jessica: It has been a really long night, and I'm going to go up and go to bed, so good night, everybody.
John: Good night.
Sam: Good night.
Charity: Yeah, me, too. Good night.
Grace: Good night, girls.
David: Well, good night again.
Grace: Good night.
Ivy: I'm really sorry to be such a bother, but how am I going to get upstairs to kay's room?
Sam: Um -- well, I guess I'll carry you up. Yeah. Ready?
Grace: You know, if it didn't make you a liar, I would like to believe kay's story -- that ivy's blackmailing you into pretending that you're my husband. Because you know what? Then I would be rid of ivy forever.
Whitney: Are you awake?
Chad: Yeah. What's going on?
Whitney: Gosh, I wish you were upstairs just now. Liz was just telling us about her horrible older sister and how she completely ruined her life.
Chad: How she ruined liz's life?
Whitney: Liz was the weaker, younger sister, and she got betrayed by her older sister. She's been carrying this hurt around with her for all these years. And the only thing I could think about was simone. I can't let this happen, chad. You understand me? I just can'T.
Chad: It won'T.
Simone: Good. Now I know exactly what I can use to keep whitney and chad apapart.
Eve: Honey, I am so sorry about this, but it's antonio. I have to go.
T.C.: Yeah, I know. And I'm sorry that I snapped at you. I know your priority is your work. You're a doctor. Go on. Go. Go ahead.
Eve: I promise, honey, to make some time for us real soon.
T.C.: Yeah. I'll see you when I see you.
T.C.: Liz, are you ok? Maybe she's still asleep and she can't hear me. Maybe I'll just try to sit her down and --
eve's voice: I will not lose you to my sister, T.C. No way.
Liz: Oh, eve, you may be the best doctor in harmony, but you're going to be the loneliest one after I take your husband away from you.
Beth: Not if I kill you first.
Mrs. Wallace: No --
luis: Beth? What are you doing?
Sheridan: All we can do is wait.
Pilar: And hold on to faith. That's all we have.
