Tabitha: Where is it? I'm sure that baby came this way. Not part of my plan. I only planned for three babies.

Connie: If the dark forces in the basement don't want you to know who it belongs to, how are you going to find out?

Tabitha: Oh, I'll find out somehow.

Connie: Yeah, you'll find out when the baby is born, and what's the big deal if you have to wait?

Tabitha: Because I'm the one who planted the seeds for all these babies years ago. And suddenly an extra baby pops up. Well, I want to know why, and I want to make sure that that extra baby isn't going to screw up my plans for spreading evil in harmony! Oh, oh, there he goes. Come back here, you damn baby!

Simone: It's so sweet of you to help out Beth like this, Chad.

Chad: It's not a big deal.

Simone: It most certainly is a big deal. I mean, you have your own D.J. Business now. You don't need to be here working for Beth anymore.

Chad: She needed my help. Like I said, it's not a big deal, Simone, really.

Simone: Well, you know what is a big deal? You letting everyone know that you are not in love with Whitney. I mean, everyone kept telling me that, "simone, you need to wake up and smell the coffee." But I knew you'd never cheat on me. I have to admit, though, I was -- I was worried, especially since Kay kept harping over it. You know what? Whitney is a beautiful girl. But I am so glad you fell in love with me, not Whitney.

T.C.: Whitney, wait a minute. You weren't concentrating this morning. You need to focus.

Whitney: I know, daddy. I'm really sorry about that.

T.C.: Sweetheart, you seemed like you were distracted. What's going on? I mean, what were you thinking about?

Chad: So what it comes down to is you just didn't want to tell her. You decided to lie and say that you loved no one.

Whitney: But I explained to you why. My dad and his tennis dream, and he felt like he let down his father.

Chad: What does that have to do with us?

Whitney: He's depending on me to become what he couldn't, to become a champion. Can't you understand that?

Chad: Yeah, I understand, Whitney. I understand that you're putting your dad's and your grandfather's dream of tennis glory before me, before our love.

Whitney: No, no, no, no. It's way more complicated than that.

Chad: No, it's not! It's real simple. Either you love me or you donít. Either you want to be with me or you donít. You made your choice, so it's over between us.

T.C.: Wait a minute -- I know why you were distracted at practice this morning. I know exactly why.

Beth: Why don't you sit and have a cup of coffee? I'll make you some lunch.

Luis: All right. Thanks. You know, I still wish I hadn't let Antonio talk us out of going with him and Sheridan on his little drive in the country.

Beth: I know, but he was pretty insistent on being alone.

Luis: Yeah. It's still killing me that he thinks he's the one who's engaged to Sheridan when I'm the one that she loves and I'm the one she's going to marry.

Beth: I know it's eating at you, but, well, with Antonio in such frail physical condition, you can't really tell him the truth.

Luis: Yeah, it's eating away at me, all right -- seeing him kissing on her and seeing them in each other's arms.

Beth: I know. I'm sorry this is so hard for you.

Luis: No, I'm sorry. I shouldn't be dumping all this on you. Look, I -- I know how much it broke your heart when I broke off our engagement because Sheridan came back from the dead.

Beth: Well, you were honest, you know, and I was hurt. But you can't, you know, help how you feel.

Luis: Yeah. Hey, what am I worried about, right? What's the worst thing that could happen? It's just a little drive in the country.

Antonio: Now, you'd better go get Luis out of here so I can tell Sheridan that we're going to elope.

Beth: Oh, no, no. You can't tell her.

Antonio: Well, why not?

Beth: Because you should keep it a secret from her, too. I mean, it should be, you know, romantic so you could just whisk her away for a romantic ceremony and then -- just think -- when you're at the justice of the peace, how could she say no, huh?

Antonio: You think?

Beth: Listen, if this is going to work, you can't tell anyone you're eloping, not even Sheridan. Yeah. I mean, what could be more innocent than a little drive in the country, huh?

Luis: Yeah.

Liz: What's wrong with Brian? Is it his injuries from the racing?

Sheridan: Look, I don't have time to get into it right now, but I really think you need to come see Brian as soon as possible.

Liz: All right. I'll be there as soon as I can.

Sheridan: Great. Look, just fly into harmony's airport and then call me on my cell phone. Do you still have the number?

Liz: Yes.

Sheridan: Ok. Thank you so much, Liz. Both Brian and I really need you here.

Liz: Diana sounded so strange when she called me to come to harmony. I hope everything is ok with her and Brian.

Sheridan: What a charming place. The drive up here was beautiful. With the leaves changing, it was like driving through a post card.

Antonio: Yes. Yes, it was. I've been away from New England for so long, I forgot how amazing the change of seasons are.

Waiter: Table for two?

Antonio: Yes, please.

Sheridan: You know what, I'm going to go freshen up. I'll be right back.

Antonio: Ok. I'm Antonio Lopez Fitzgerald. I called earlier.

Waiter: Oh, yes. Everything you requested has been prepared.

Antonio: Great, great. My fiancťe doesn't know it yet, but we're getting married today.

Waiter: Oh, wonderful. Congratulations.

Antonio: Thank you very much. It's the happiest day of my life, and I know it's going to be the happiest day of her life, too.

Singer: I would hold the hand of the one who could lead me places and kiss the lips of the one who could sing so sweet and I would fly on the wings of the bird I knew could take me highest breathe in, breathe out you keep me alive you are the fire burning inside of me you are my passion for life

Tabitha: Where'd it go? Did you see which way it went?

Connie: Tabitha, maybe you should just let it go. I mean, maybe you don't want to know who that fourth baby belongs to.

Tabitha: Oh, don't be so ridiculous. Of course I want to know. I must know!

Connie: But if the powers in the basement won't tell you, maybe you should just forget about it.

Tabitha: I can't forget about it. I wish I could. There's something about that baby that keeps pulling me towards it. I know it sounds strange, but I feel attached to that baby in some way. There it is! Come back here, you damn baby!

T.C.: I'm sorry, honey. I know why you weren't focused at practice this morning.

Whitney: What?

T.C.: Sweetheart, I --

Whitney: I'm sorry -- what?

T.C.: I said I know why you weren't playing as well as you can -- because you're tired. You stayed up late last night at the crane party, and you were so worried about Simone crashing that car. Your energy is drained, isn't it?

Whitney: Yeah. Yeah, daddy, that must be it.

T.C.: Well, from now on, you're going to get to bed early, young lady. I want you ready tomorrow for a good practice session. Sweetheart, I am so proud of your being committed to tennis. And when you win the grand slam, your grandfather up in heaven is going to be so proud of you. You're going to fulfill his dreams just like mine. Come on. Oh. There's your sister in there, just smiling and laughing at Chad.

Whitney: Is she really?

T.C.: Well, you let your sister have the boys because you are going to have a historic career in tennis to build.

Whitney: Mm-hmm.

[Phone rings]

[Phone rings]

Liz: Diana's cell phone is turned off. I remember a place in town where someone is sure to know where Brian and Diana are. Now, I just need to get a cab.

Luis: Hey. I'm serious, though. Now, you've been terrific through this whole thing -- having to pretend to Antonio that you and I are still engaged. Beth, I know this can't be easy for you.

Beth: Well, it's all right. I just want to do whatever I can to make things easier for you.

Luis: Well, like I said, I appreciate it, ok?

Beth: Ok.

Mrs. Wallace: Bethy!

Beth: Mother.

Mrs. Wallace: Those sheets need changing and I need a fresh nightgown. Oh.

Beth: Ahem. Mother, please. I was just on my way in to check on you.

Mrs. Wallace: Hi, cutie.

Luis: Hey. How you doing, Mrs. Wallace?

Mrs. Wallace: Oh, you know, as well as can be expected, I guess.

Beth: Mother?

Mrs. Wallace: Mm-hmm?

Beth: Why don't you go back in your room and I'll come in and change your sheets.

Mrs. Wallace: And my nightgown?

Beth: Of course. Ahem -- why don't you just make yourself comfy and I'll be back in a minute to finish your lunch, ok?

Luis: Yeah, thanks.

Beth: Come on.

Mrs. Wallace: All right, missy. What is going on here, huh? Why is Luis here, and where are Antonio and Sheridan?

Beth: Don't worry about it, mother. All I can tell you is by the end of the day, Luis will be mine. All mine.

Sheridan: Isn't this beautiful?

Antonio: It's beautiful. And the scenery's nice, too.

Sheridan: This really was a good idea. Feels wonderful to be out in the country.

Antonio: Yes, it does. Thank you very much. I would like to make a toast -- to another wonderful day in the lives of Sheridan and Antonio. Hopefully, the most wonderful day.

Sheridan: What do you mean by "the most wonderful day"?

Antonio: Nothing. Just every day that we spend together, I hope it's more wonderful than the last.

Sheridan: This place really is exquisite. I just can't get over this view.

Antonio: Like I said -- beautiful. The most beautiful thing I've ever seen.

Sheridan: You know, this place reminds me of an inn I once went to with Luis.

Antonio: Luis? When did you go to a romantic inn with Luis? 8,000, and~

Tabitha: There! It looks like it's headed to the book cafe. Come on, after that damn baby.

Simone: Hey, daddy. Hey, whit.

T.C.: Hey, sugar bear. How you doing? Chad, how you doing?

Chad: Fine, coach. Hello.

Whitney: Hello.

Simone: How was practice?

T.C.: Well, your sister's mind was elsewhere, but things will get better. Anybody can have a bad day.

Simone: Oh.

Chad: Excuse me. I've got a customer.

T.C.: So, what are you doing here?

Simone: Oh, I was just in the mood for some coffee.

Whitney: Excuse me -- I'm going to run to the ladies' room really quickly. Hey. Do you mind if we talk about a couple things?

Chad: We got nothing to say. We said it all last night.

Whitney: No. Chad, that's not true. We didn't talk about everything.

Chad: Yeah, you told your dad, your mother, and Simone that you didn't love me. That about says it all.

Whitney: Wait a --

Simone: Whitney, don't be too upset about your practice.

Whitney: I'm sorry -- what?

Simone: I mean, you look so upset. But you know that you're a wonderful player. You'll be back on your game tomorrow.

Whitney: Yeah. I guess you're right.

Simone: I am so happy. You know, I just want everyone to be just as happy as I am. I just can't stop smiling. I have Chad and you have a fabulous tennis career. Things are wonderful for the both of us, aren't they?

Tabitha: Catch it! Stop it. Stop that baby!

T.C.: Is she crazy?

Whitney: Ow.

Simone: Tabitha! What baby?

Tabitha: Oh, the little imp. He's getting away!

Simone: What is she talking about?

Antonio: Sheridan, you and Luis just met. When would you have had time to go to a romantic inn together?

Sheridan: I didn't say "Luis." I said "Louise." She's actually a friend from college and, well, we toured Europe together one summer, and this place reminded me of that trip.

Antonio: Oh, oh. See, I thought that -- actually, never mind what I thought. I know you love me and we're going to get married. Excuse me one moment. I am going to go wash up and I'll be right back, ok?

Sheridan: Ok.

Sheridan: Luis, I miss you so much. How did our lives become so complicated?

Mrs. Wallace: No. No, no, no. No, Beth. Don't you realize that you are damaging your soul by trying to keep Luis --

Beth: Oh, mother --

Mrs. Wallace: No, come back here -- trying to keep Luis away from the woman that he loves?

Beth: He loves me, mother. We were meant to be together.

Mrs. Wallace: Ha.

Beth: You can laugh all you want, but Luis and I will be together, Antonio and Sheridan will be happy together. End of story. Ok?

Mrs. Wallace: Oh. You are an evil girl, Beth. I will never let you get Luis. Never!

Tabitha: Get it, get it! Stop that baby!

T.C.: What's wrong with Tabitha?

Simone: She's acting so crazy.

Tabitha: Get it. Get -- get that baby. Get it! Get that baby! Get -- get that baby.

Whitney: What is she saying about a baby?

Chad: She says there's a baby running around in here.

Whitney: Well, I certainly don't see a baby. Do you?

Tabitha: It's here somewhere --

T.C.: No. Poor woman.

Connie: They all think you're nuts, tabby. Better watch out or they'll send the men in the white coats after you. You're acting loony.

Tabitha: Oh! Hey, hey, hey!

Chad: Tabitha, whoa, whoa, whoa. What are you doing? What are you chasing?

Tabitha: The baby! Didn't you see it? Didn't you see the baby who ran in here?

Chad: A baby?

Tabitha: Yes! Didn't anyone see it? Didn't you see where the baby went?

T.C.: We didn't see any baby, Tabitha.

Simone: No, we didnít.

Tabitha: But it -- it went right through you.

Whitney: It what?

Tabitha: It passed right through your body. Didn't you feel it?

T.C.: Tabitha, why don't you sit down, let me get you a glass of water. Come on. Have a seat.

Whitney: Do you think she's ok, daddy?

T.C.: I don't think so. She is obviously missing her poor little Timmy.

Simone: Hmm. His death must be too much for her to handle.

Chad: Yeah, I'll say -- running around here like a crazy woman, chasing invisible babies? And that doll she's carrying around?

Whitney: Yeah, it's really eerie.

T.C.: Here you go, Tabitha. Are you all right?

Chad: It's all right. How about coffee and sandwiches on the house?

Man: Nice.

Woman: Great. Thank you.

Man: Thanks.

Simone: Hmm -- one of Chadís C.D.S. Ooh, I bet you it's wonderful. And I bet that if I put this on, this will put everybody back in a good mood.

[Music plays]

Whitney: It's wonderful. The song you wrote is so good.

Chad: Yeah, you really nailed those lyrics. You're amazing.

Whitney: Well, so are you.

Chad: I love you, Whitney.

Beth: Hey.

Luis: Hey.

Beth: I'm sorry it's taking so long to make your lunch.

Luis: Hey, I'm in no hurry.

Beth: Good, because I got to go freshen up. I just had to change mother's bedding, and I need a shower.

Luis: Go ahead. Uh, you know, I really do admire you for the way you take care of your mother. You know, she -- she's lucky to have you.

Beth: Oh. Well, where is she anyway?

Luis: I don't know. I thought she was in her room.

Mrs. Wallace: Oh, would you help me? Help me stop the evil that my daughter is doing. All right. All the saints in heaven --

[Mrs. Wallace whistles]

Mrs. Wallace: Everybody, I need your help. I can't let Beth steal Luis away from the woman that he loves, so please help me. Help me. Help me.

Sheridan: Thank you.

Woman: Mr. Lopez Fitzgerald?

Antonio: Yes?

Woman: I'm Millie chambers, the wedding coordinator.

Antonio: Oh, very nice to meet you. Thanks for meeting with me.

Millie: My pleasure. Now, I have taken care of everything that we discussed on the phone.

Antonio: Ok, great. I just want to go over the details.

Millie: Of course. I've sent someone to pick up the marriage certificate, and the justice of the peace is standing by.

Antonio: Wonderful. Now, I want to make this the most romantic day of my fiancťeís life, so I just want to make sure everything's perfect. I want flowers, lots and lots of flowers, candles, music -- you know, the works.

Millie: I'll take care of everything. Oh, this is so romantic -- I mean, you're surprising your fiancťe like this with an elopement. Is that Sheridan over there by the window?

Antonio: Yes. That's my bride-to-be.

Millie: She is a very lucky young woman.

Antonio: Oh, no. No, ma'am, I'm the lucky one. She is the most wonderful woman I've ever met. And I want to make sure that the memories of our wedding day are just as wonderful.

Millie: Oh, they will be, I promise. Now, do you have the witnesses, best man, maid of honor? Any family or friends coming up for the ceremony?

Antonio: No, no. I didn't ask anyone.

Millie: Well, it's not a problem. I can provide the witnesses.

Antonio: I -- I tell you what. Let me make a call out. There is a couple of people that I'd like to come up. Is that ok?

Millie: Sure.

Antonio: Excuse me one second.

Mrs. Wallace: Help me. Please, help me stop my evil daughter from destroying Luis' happiness, huh? Send me a sign. Show me how I can stop her --

[Phone rings]

Mrs. Wallace: That was quick. Oh, a phone call from heaven for guidance. Thank you. Thank you, angels. You're so good.

Beth: There you go. Hello?

Antonio: Hello, Beth? It's Antonio.

Beth: Oh, h-- hello.

Antonio: Look, I'm glad I caught you at home. You know, I know we talked earlier about you guys not coming up here for the wedding, but you know what? I changed my mind. I really want you guys to be up here.

Beth: Oh, I -- you know, I think that's a really bad idea.

Luis: What's a bad idea?

Beth: Oh --

Luis: Who's that?

Beth: No --

Antonio: Oh, is that Luis? Hey, let me talk to him. I want to get his take on this. I cannot wait to tell him that Sheridan and I are getting married. I know it's going to blow him away. Okay...

T.C.: Tabitha, are you sure you're all right?

Tabitha: Oh, yes, I'm -- I'm fine, coach Russell.

T.C.: Would you like me to give you a ride home?

Tabitha: No, no, I'm all right, thank you.

T.C.: Tabitha, you know that I'm a grief counselor at the hospital. Why don't you come in sometime? I know things have been really tough on you since little Timmy died. I could come by your house and we can just talk.

Tabitha: Hmm. That's very kind of you, T.C.

T.C.: So how about some tea?

Tabitha: Thank you.

T.C.: Ok.

Connie: Baby at 5:00.

Tabitha: Thanks for the water, T.C.! Got to go! Got to go!

T.C.: Are you sure you're all right?

Tabitha: Oh, I'm fine, I'm fine! You little brat! Come back here! Come back here.

Liz: What was that about? It seems like there's always something weird happening in harmony.

[Music plays]

Simone: This song is so beautiful, so powerful. Isn't it, daddy? Whoever wrote this song and sang this song -- they must have shared an incredible love. They must have had a love like ours, Chad.

Liz: That poor girl.

Antonio: I thought I just heard Luis' voice. Is he there?

Beth: Well, actually, he --

[Phone rings]

Luis: Hey.

Beth: Hmm?

Luis: I'm going to take this outside.

Antonio: Is he there or not? I want to talk to him.

Beth: No. It was the television. No, Luis -- Luis isn't here.

Antonio: Well, do you think you could track him down? Look, Beth, I really want you guys to come up here. You know, that way you can be the maid of honor and Luis could be the best man. I'm telling you, Beth, you got to see this place. It is absolutely incredible. And eloping was such a great idea. But I really, really want you guys here for the wedding.

Mrs. Wallace's voice: I told you she was evil.

Antonio: What do you think?

Beth: Yeah. Well, like I said, that's -- that's a bad idea because -- well, don't you remember what we talked about before? Eloping -- you know, it's supposed to be about your love for Sheridan, and I don't -- I don't think we should do anything that would, you know, distract from -- from her.

Antonio: I don't think you're going to be causing her any distractions. In fact, I think she'll love it that you guys would come.

Beth: Uh -- well, I guess I could try to find Luis. I -- I think he's probably on duty, and I don't know if I can reach him, but, yeah, I'll try. But, you know, you would have to put off your wedding until we got there.

Antonio: Well, how long are we talking? I mean, how long do I need to put it off for?

Beth: Oh, I don't know -- a few hours? But maybe it is better if you just wait because then Luis could find someone to cover for him and, well, we could just come up in the morning or something.

Antonio: I'm ready to get married right now, so -- you know what, we can find witnesses here. It's no big deal, but I really wish that you guys would have been able to come up.

Beth: Right. Well, I'm sorry, Antonio. I just -- you know, maybe it's for the best.

Antonio: Yeah. Yeah. Well, I'll tell you what, we'll tell you all about it when we get back. All right. Think about it. In just a few hours, I am going to be a married man. Can you believe it? Isn't it amazing?

Beth: You have no idea how happy that makes me.

Antonio: Well, I'd better go, ok? I'll talk to you guys later.

Mrs. Wallace: Antonio, Luis loves Sheridan! This is an evil plot by my daughter!

Liz: Excuse me. I know it's none of my business, but you look like you could use a friend.

Whitney: What? I'm sorry. Do I know you from somewhere?

Liz: No, no, no, I -- it's just you look so sad. I thought maybe I could help.

Whitney: Oh. No. Thank you. Thank you very much, but no one can help me.

Liz: Look, I know I'm being presumptuous. It's just I -- I saw you looking at that couple. The young man.

Whitney: No. No, I wasn't looking at him. Actually, that's my sister's boyfriend.

Liz: I guess I'm just projecting my feelings onto you. I was remembering a friend of mine. She was really in love with this guy, but she never told him that she loved him. Before she knew it, he was in love with someone else.

Whitney: How sad.

Liz: Yeah, it was very sad. And she always regretted that she hadn't gone to him sooner, told him how she felt, how she really loved him and wanted to be with him. But I think that if she had gone to him and had been open and honest that they might have had a great relationship -- that he would be with her now and she wouldn't be alone.

Beth: Oh, thank God Antonio didn't hear her.

Beth: Mother, what do you think you're doing?

Mrs. Wallace: I am throwing a monkey wrench in your evil plan because I'm going to stop you, Beth. I will stop you!

Beth: No, you won't, mother, because by the end of the day, Antonio and Sheridan are going to be married and Luis is going to be mine. And there's nothing you or anybody else can do about it. Tra-la.

Luis: Well, it doesn't look like my brother's going to be able to make it up, so I'll probably need those witnesses that you promised.

Millie: Like I said, it's not a problem. I'm sorry your brother can't make it.

Antonio: Oh, hey, it's no big deal. I'm not going to let it get me down because today I am marrying the woman of my dreams, and I can't wait.

Sheridan: Hey. I'm sorry I had my phone turned off earlier. I just wanted to make sure that you hadn't tried to call me.

Luis: It doesn't matter. I'm just glad to hear your voice.

Sheridan: I miss you so much.

Luis: I miss you, too. So what's going on?

Sheridan: Nothing much. We stopped to have lunch at this beautiful, little inn. The drive up here was nice -- all the trees.

Luis: So when are you coming home?

Sheridan: We shouldn't be much longer. I can't wait to get back and be in your arms.

Luis: I can't wait, either.

Sheridan: Well, we should finish lunch soon, and I guess then we'll be on our way. I can't think of anything else that would keep us here. I love you. I know. I know.

Tabitha: Oh. Where did that little minx go?

Connie: Hmm. I don't know, but I just figured out why that fourth baby is here.

Tabitha: What are you talking about?

Connie: After the show you just put on in the book cafe, I know why the fourth baby showed up. It's here to make you look nuttier than a fruitcake. That fourth baby is going to get you thrown into the loony bin.

Tabitha: Rubbish!

[Music plays]

Whitney: So tell me -- how did your friend get over losing the man that she loved so much?

Liz: She didnít. She loves him to this day, is filled with regret. I think if she had to do it over again, she would run to him and tell him the truth about her feelings and not let him go.

Whitney: Thank you for telling me about your friend.

Liz: You're welcome.

Whitney: It was really nice talking to you. But right now there's something that I got to do.

Liz: I wish you luck.

Simone: I love this song, Chad. I mean, you can tell that it was written with so much love and sung with so much love. I mean, it's amazing.

Chad: No, it's old news, Simone -- past its time. It's not going to find an audience now. It's dead. When I listen to this now, I realize it was just a waste of time. A complete and total waste of time. It's over, finished for good.

Mrs. Wallace: You are the one who's responsible for this elopement plan, aren't you? Oh, God will punish you for what you are trying to do! Manipulating, maneuvering, trying to keep Luis away from the one woman that he loves, which is Sheridan.

Beth: You know what, mother? I don't care if God punishes me.

[Mrs. Wallace gasps]

Beth: All I care about is getting Luis. And when Antonio and Sheridan are finally married, then Luis will be mine.

Mrs. Wallace: Ugh!

Beth: All mine forever.

Sheridan: Well, as soon as Antonio and I finish lunch, I can have him bring me to the book cafe and you can meet us there.

Luis: Good. Can't be too soon for me. I love you so much.

Sheridan: I love you, too. Bye.

Sheridan: Hey.

Antonio: Hey. So, are you ready for dessert?

Sheridan: Sure, why not?

Antonio: All right, because I want you to know that the chef has prepared something very special for us.

Sheridan: Really? What are we having?

Sheridan: What's this?

Antonio: This is our wedding cake.

Sheridan: Our what?

Antonio: Our wedding cake. You and I are getting married today. See, I had the whole thing arranged. I wanted to surprise you.

Sheridan: You what?

Antonio: Sheridan, I love you with all my heart and I cannot wait to be married to you. So today you and I are going to get married. Isn't it wonderful?
