Tabitha: Where are you, you zombie ghost from hell?
Zombie charity: Oh!
Tabitha: Hey, hey! Gotcha!
Connie: Let me go!
Zombie charity: What are you doing to your new pal, tabby?
Tabitha: What sick, twisted game are you playing? This -- this thing is dreadful, totally out of control. You're going to ruin all my well-thought-out plans.
Zombie charity: Who cares? This zombie wants to have some fun and excitement in her life for once. I feel like a mommy, like -- like grace bennett. I've raised a little hellion, and now I'm going to send you out into the world to do what you do best -- raise some hell. Now, honey, I'm going to go. But, sweetie, be good -- which means be very, very bad.
Connie: Get out of my face, old woman!
Tabitha: Ow! Ow, you little monster!
Connie: Catch me if you can!
Simone: Isn't that scrumptious?
Simone: Ooh, I should stop eating these things, but I can'T. They're so good. You know, maybe there's more inside.
Simone: Ooh, they're playing such a great song. Come on, chad, let's dance.
T.C.: Look at them. Our little girl and her first boyfriend. They look good together, don't they, eve? And they're so happy.
Eve: I don't know, T.C. I mean, I always thought that chad liked whitney and that whitney felt the same way about him.
T.C.: Well, you thought wrong.
Eve: Maybe. Do you think maybe that you're pushing this?
Eve: This chad and simone relationship.
T.C.: Now, why would I do that?
Eve: So that whitney won't go out with him.
Theresa: I have to look perfect for ethan.
Ethan: Theresa, you look beautiful.
Theresa: Thank you, ethan.
Ethan: Would you like to dance?
Theresa: I'd love to.
Theresa: This is going to be the best party ever. I just know it.
Luis: Look, I am so sorry.
Beth: I know you are, luis.
Luis: No, it's just not fair to you. You know, coming here, having to pretend we're still engaged, and then antonio coming up with this idea that we should get married as soon as possible.
Beth: Oh, God.
Luis: I'm so sorry, ok?
Phyllis: You were invited here tonight?
Mrs. Wallace: You bet your bippy I was. My daughter's at this shindig. Whoo! Got quite a place here.
Phyllis: Well, follow me and I ll show you in to the party.
Mrs. Wallace: No, no, no, no. No need fothat, dear. I'll find my own way. Besides, I want to surprise my daughter, you know. She's going to be thrilled to see me, that's for sure. I can't wait to see the expression on her face.
Mrs. Wallace: Get ready, bethie, because mumsie's coming and she's going to ruin your party for you.
Singer: I would hold the hand of the one who could lead me places and kiss the lips of the one who could sing so sweet and i would fly on the wings of the bird I knew could take me highest breathe in, breathe out you keep me alive you are the fire burning inside of me you are my passion for life
julian: Air. I need air. Oh, tabitha.
Tabitha: Oh. Oh, hello, julian.
Julian: Uh -- you probably think I've been avoiding you.
Julian: It's just -- it's been crazy around here.
Tabitha: Oh, so what else is new?
Julian: No, really, one crisis after another. It's a wonder I'm still sane. I've been meaning to call you. I haven't forgotten about our evening together. Oh! Oh! Oh!
Tabitha: I'm coming for you!
Julian: Our night had a remarkable effect on me.
Tabitha: Did it?
Julian: Yes. Frankly, I haven't been able to get you out of my mind. What do you say we reignite those sparks between us?
Tabitha: Perhaps some other time.
Julian: No. I love it when you play hard to get, you little vixen.
Tabitha: I'm sorry, julian, there will be no reignition tonight. I -- I have to go.
Julian: Oh -- wait.
[Band sings in spanish]
Julian: Would you people get out of my way? God. You all sing of amor, but you prevent me from getting any.
T.C.: Eve, what are you talking about?
Eve: I know that you want whitney to keep her focus on tennis and not get sidetracked by a boyfriend. So that's why I have to wonder if perhaps, subconsciously, you're pushing this chad and simone thing so that chad and whitney won't get together.
T.C.: I am not pushing anything. You're way off base.
Eve: Oh, well, I'm sorry you feel that way.
T.C.: Whitney isn't interested in chad. She is totally focused on her tennis. Why would she put all that time into tennis and just throw it all away? Someday our daughter is going to be on top and she's going to be a champion.
Eve: Honey, I don't want to argue with you. But did you realize that whenever you talk about whitney and tennis that you could replace her name with yours?
T.C.: Whitney loves tennis. It's her life. Now, why would she spend all that time in practice if she wasn't on fire for the game?
Eve: Because she loves you and she wants to make you happy.
T.C.: Excuse me, sweetheart. I don't think I need to listen to this.
Beth: I'm sorry I got so emotional. But I'm ok now, really. And I'm really glad I came to the party. Truly glad. It's not that often I get to get dressed up and come to something like this since I'm always taking care of mother, but I'm not going to waste tonight feeling sorry or sad.
Hank: No. You're going to be pushed around on the dance floor by guys like me all night.
Luis: That's right.
Beth: Well, that sounds like fun. I just really want to have a good time.
Mrs. Wallace: Well, enjoy your fun, bethie, because your party's about to be over. All over.
Theresa: Whit, come on in. You're just in time to help me put on the finishing touches to my ensemble. What's wrong? What -- what happened?
Whitney: I can't take this anymore. Watching simone with chad -- you know, them dancing together, having this wonderful time at the party together.
Theresa: It should be you.
Whitney: I mean, chad is -- you know, he's my boyfriend. I just wish that we could express our love for one another out in public. I wish we didn't have to hide our love from simone, that's all.
Theresa: You don't have to hide anything, ok? So what if she's your sister? You got to tell her, whitney. Tell her the truth. Get everything out in the open.
Whitney: Theresa, I can'T. It will completely crush her.
Theresa: So instead you let it crush you?
Whitney: Yeah, I guess.
Theresa: I'm really sorry that you're going through this.
Whitney: I don't mean to bring you down. I'm sorry. I mean, this is supposed to be a happy time -- you know, your brother's party and all.
Theresa: Well, how does it look down there?
Whitney: It looks really, really spectacular.
Theresa: Wow, it was such a short notice. I mean, it's a wonder anything got done. But that's my fault. "Last-minute teresita" -- that's what mama used to call me.
Whitney: Well, you look really, really great. And you seem like you're in a terrific mood.
Theresa: Oh, whit, I'm on top of the world!
Whitney: Why? What's going on?
Theresa: I got ethan back. He and I are together again.
Antonio: I sure am glad they're getting married.
Sheridan: Hmm? What?
Antonio: Luis and beth. They belong together.
Antonio: I remember they wanted to get married right after high school, but I kind of feel bad because they lost out on all that time together. That was because I left harmony. Shoot, now they could have kids and a family. Things would be a lot different.
Sheridan: Yes. Things could be very different.
Luis: You sure you're ok with this? Pretending we're still engaged?
Beth: I'm fine with it, ok? So just quit worrying.
Luis: You are an amazing woman.
Beth: Well, I don't know about that, but I do know that I'm not going to be attending a party like this again any time soon, so I'm not going to let anything ruin my fun.
Luis: All right.
Mrs. Wallace: Hey, beth! Yoo-hoo! Hi, bethie. I made it. Hi, sweetheart.
Whitney: You and ethan are back together? But how? I mean, what happened?
Theresa: Well, it's not like anything happened, exactly. I mean, we aren't actually back together yet.
Whitney: Oh, theresa --
theresa: But it's only a matter of time.
Whitney: It's just another one of your wild fantasies.
Theresa: No, this is no fantasy. This is going to happen.
Whitney: Oh, I'm sure it is.
Theresa: I've got it all planned out, whitney, step by step.
Whitney: In your dreams, maybe.
Theresa: In the halls of crane industries.
Theresa: I just got a job. Alistair gave me a job.
Whitney: Doing what?
Theresa: I'm going to be a vice president.
Whitney: Vice president?
Whitney: Of what, exactly?
Theresa: Who cares? The point is that I'm going to have all the crane power at my disposal, which means I can bring ethan back into the company and I can give him the position and power that was taken from him when he found that he wasn't really a crane.
Whitney: You think you're really going to be able to do all that?
Theresa: Anything I want. And then, with the two of us working closely together --
whitney: Don't you think you're getting in a little over your head once again?
Theresa: No. No. This is going to work, whitney. I mean, you can say what you want, but ethan is going to be mine again.
Whitney: I know that you were given this plan by julian down in hell. But julian isn't dead, so he couldn't have been the one who gave you this plan. It had to have been something else, theresa -- some dark force or evil spirit or something.
Theresa: Oh, whitney, please.
Whitney: You can't go through with this, theresa. It's way too dangerous.
Theresa: Like I care. Here -- look, I want ethan back. And I'm going to use anything I have to to get him, even if it's a plan from hell.
Eve: Why can't you see what you're doing, T.C.? Why can't you?
Julian: Champagne? I had a hunch you could use this.
Eve: No. Thank you.
Julian: You know, the last time we were in this room together, you threatened me.
Eve: The threat still stands, julian.
Julian: You made all sorts of accusations.
Eve: Don't start, julian.
Julian: The fascinating thing is even with all your hostility, I still -- I still find you incredibly attractive.
Luis: Mrs. Wallace, I see that you've -- well, you decided to come.
Mrs. Wallace: I sure did.
Beth: Mother, could I just talk to you for a moment out there?
Mrs. Wallace: Yes, honey. Excuse us, boys. Hiya, folks.
Hank: How you holding up, buddy?
Luis: Great. I get to watch my brother hang all over the woman I love.
Mrs. Wallace: Is something wrong?
Beth: What the hell are you doing here?
Mrs. Wallace: Why, beth, if I didn't know any better, I'say you weren't happy to see me.
Beth: What do you want, mother?
Mrs. Wallace: If you remember, luis invited me. He wanted me to be with all of you, so I just thought it would be impolite, you know, if I didn't make an appearance.
Beth: Don't you pull that innocent act with me, mother. I've seen it way too many times, and I know you are up to something.
Mrs. Wallace: May I go now? I'd rather talk to the boys.
Beth: No. I know you've got something planned. That's the only reason you came here, so you could cause problems. I know you want to ruin this night for me, but I will not let you.
Tabitha: I must find that evil imp before she can wreak any havoc. And that's what she's looking to do. That cracked doll could ruin all my plans with one random act of malevolence, and I've worked too hard to let that happen. Oh, drat, I've lost her. Where could she be? Where could that demented barbie doll have gone to stir up trouble? Oh, no. Oh, no, I hope she hasn't gone where I think she's gone. If she has, I -- I'm doomed. Oh, I'd better get down there as soon as possible.
Connie: Now, this place looks interesting. What is it?
Connie: What was that?
Hecuba: Who dares disturb me?
Connie: Whoa. Who are you?
What are you?
Singer: You are my passion for life
julian: Now, eve --
Eve: Don't even think about it, julian. You disgust me.
Julian: I suppose I deserve these slings and arrows.
Eve: Oh, you deserve more -- worse -- after everything that you've done.
Julian: I want you to listen to me, eve.
Julian: Please. This is of vital importance. I've done a lot of soul searching.
Eve: Soul? You?
Julian: No, I'm serious. I'm serious. When I was gone and people thought I was dead, I spent almost all my time thinking, going over my life, thinking about mistakes I've made, things I'd done wrong.
Eve: Then maybe you should tell it to father lonigan.
Julian: And the one thing I realized, eve -- and this is what is terribly important -- the one thing at was crystal clear to me was I should've stayed with you.
Eve: I despise you, julian. You nearly ruined my life.
Julian: Well, I --
eve: Fortunately that's all in the past, thank God. And I have my family. I have T.C. And my girls and I am very happy. So just leave me alone!
Julian: I simply wanted you to know --
eve: Oh, I know what you wanted, julian! I don't even know how you have the nerve to even think about it!
Julian: You're right.
Julian: Hey, I was wrong. But you were the best thing that ever happened to me. I should've stood up to father. I should've been stronger.
Eve: Yeah, but you weren'T. You let your father control you and you used me. When you found out I was pregnant, you just tossed me away like I was nothing.
Julian: No, you're anything but, eve. You know, you're everything a man could want, and I loved you. Hmm?
Eve: It's too bad you didn't have enough courage to stand up for that love, julian.
Julian: I admit that.
Eve: Your father disapproved of me, just didn't think I was good enough for his precious family. I guess the idea of bringing home a black mrs. Crane was abhorrent to him. You know, if you loved me so much, julian, why didn't you have the courage to stand up to that corrupt, vile, old man?
Julian: Because I was terribly wrong. I'm here to tell you, from the bottom of my heart, I was wrong.
Sheridan: Who is that?
Antonio: That's mrs. Wallace, beth's mother.
Sheridan: Why is she dressed like that?
Antonio: Well, she hasn't been well for a while. Beth's been taking care of her for years, but that's just beth -- totally unselfish, caring, and loving. You know, my brother is one lucky man. Beth is going to make him the perfect wife.
Antonio: Sheridan, what is it?
Sheridan: No, it -- it's just --
antonio: I know what it is. I'm so sorry for not recognizing it earlier, but I know why you're being so emotional.
Beth: If you do anything -- and I mean anything, mother -- to ruin this night for me, I --
mrs. Wallace: I don't know what you are talking about. I just wanted to get out for a while. You keep me cooped up in that musty, old house all the time, and I need to get out and see people.
Beth: Well, couldn't you have at least gotten dressed?
Mrs. Wallace: Oh, what's -- what's wrong with what I'm wearing?
Beth: Mother, it's a formal party! I've bought you plenty of nice things. Couldn't you have found something except this nasty, old housecoat?
Mrs. Wallace: Do I embarrass you, beth? Are you ashamed of the way your mother looks? Huh?
Hank: Mrs. Wallace, good to see you.
Mrs. Wallace: Thank you.
Luis: I am so glad that you decided to come.
Mrs. Wallace: Oh, well, it was very, very thoughtful of you to invite me. And I forgot to tell you, you look so handsome. And you, too, hank. Oh, you two are one of my --
luis: Thank you.
Mrs. Wallace: You're just my favorites. I'm just -- well, I'm sorry that I'm so underdressed.
Luis: No, hey -- come on, you look great.
Hank: Yeah, just fine.
Mrs. Wallace: Well, that's very kind of you say. I know it doesn't look this way, but, you know, in my day, I -- I did turn a couple heads.
Hank: Ah, I bet you did.
Luis: Yeah. More than a couple, huh?
Mrs. Wallace: That's so nice. You know what? You know what they say -- that if you want to know what a girl is going to look like when she ages, just take a look at her mother because she's going to turn out exactly like her.
Luis: Wow. Well, hey, if that's true, then beth is going to be a beauty in her golden years.
Mrs. Wallace: Oh, that is so kind of you! Did you hear that, bethie?
Beth: Uh-huh, yeah. But I'm going to have to disagree.
Mrs. Wallace: Oh?
Beth: Yeah, mother, because -- well, we've never really looked alike. In fact, there's nothing about us that's remotely similar.
Mrs. Wallace: Oh, bethie, come on, that's just not true. You've always been like me. Come on, we're two peas in a pod, and you are are always going to be exactly like me in every way.
Hecuba: Who are you? Hmm?
Connie: I'm connie. Who are you?
Hecuba: I am hecuba, the queen of evil.
Connie: Well, la-de-da.
Hecuba: Why, you insolent, little twerp. If I weren't trapped in this bottle --
connie: What bottle?
Hecuba: Ugh. You can't see it, bimbetta! This is a hologram, and all of this is my magic cavern.
Hecuba: Being trapped in a bottle is far from "cool." And, trust me, I'm going to get back at tabitha for this.
Hecuba: Why? Do you know her? Oh, of course! You must be her new doll. Well, when I get out of here, I'm going to have your empty, little, braided head on a platter!
Connie: Why me? I didn't do this to you.
Hecuba: Because you are her new dolly. You see, it was her old doll, timmy, who helped her trick me in here. So you'll just have to pay for what he did.
Connie: I'm not like the last doll. I'm pure evil.
Hecuba: Oh, yes, I can see that you're different. But trust me, whatever you are, you are no match for me. Yes, I am more than evil than anybody could possibly be. Why, I have broken more hearts, I have destroyed more lives, I have --
connie: Look, I came down here to stir up some trouble, not to hear your resume.
Hecuba: Oh, you're the assertive type. Oh, s, I like that. But don't you get cocky with me. You know, I think we just might be able to help each other.
Hecuba: You want to inflict evil, don't you? You want to create suffering.
Connie: The worse, the better.
Hecuba: Oh. Well, I have the perfect way.
Connie: Then what are we waiting for?
Hecuba: Ah, not so fast. Uh-uh. First we have to make a deal.
Connie: What kind of a deal?
Tabitha: Oh. Oh, I hope evil connie hasn't found hecuba's lair.
Hecuba: If I help you, you have to help me. You have to go down to tabitha's basement, you have the find the bottle, and then you have to set me free.
Connie: The bottle?
Hecuba: Yes! I'll send you a special corkscrew.
Tabitha: Oh, no. It's hecuba. My worst fears are confirmed. Oh, I must do something to stop this before it goes any further.
Hecuba: The only way I'm going to help you is if you help me. So what do you say, cracked connie? Do we have a deal? Hmm?

Ethan: For sheridan to keep up this pretense -- it's got to be killing her.
Gwen: Well, she was in love with antonio when she had amnesia.
Ethan: Yes, but now she has her memory back. She's been home for the last couple of months with the love of her life. Luis has always been her true love, and for her not to be able to be with him?
Gwen: They'll end up together. That's the way love is. I mean, look at us. We've been in love for almost forever. And, yeah, you got sidetracked with theresa when we were separated, but you came back to me.
Ethan: Yeah, I did. Gwen, what is it?
Gwen: I'm scared.
Ethan: Of what?
Gwen: Of losing you again. I'm afraid something's going to happen to take you away from me.
Eve: Wow, you're good, julian. I could almost believe you're sincere. Almost.
Julian: I've never been more sincere in my life.
Eve: So you're sorry?
Julian: About all of it, terribly.
Eve: Oh, the hell you are.
Julian: I'm being honest, eve.
Eve: Are you sorry about our son, julian?
Julian: Of course.
Eve: But you never even acknowledged that we had a son.
Julian: Our son is dead.
Eve: And do you know that for sure? Because I don'T. I have a very distinct vision that he didn't die, that someone took him out of the hospital and then they lied to me and told me that he died. Who are you? Who are you? What are you doing? Stop it! No! Please, somebody! Help! He's taking my baby! No!
My baby! And it was so clear.
Julian: It was a vision, eve.
Eve: No. No. It was too real not to have happened.
Julian: Well, I -- I don't know anything about that.
Eve: Yes, but you know that your father could've been behind it. You know that he's evil enough to have planned it, that he'd have never wanted a crane heir to be half african-american.
Julian: Yes. I wouldn't put anything past him. He's capable of anything.
Eve: Then how does that make you feel, julian -- that you have a son out there and that -- that he was taken from you?
Julian: If it was true, a part of me thinks it would be wonderful. But we have to be realistic. If our son is out there, he is alive, and he comes back, what will happen to you and your life? Your family doesn't even know about our past.
Eve: T.C. Would kill you.
Julian: Hmm. What would he do to you, eve? All I'm saying is our son could destroy your family.
Chad: You -- you look gorgeous. I mean, really, really nice.
Whitney: Thank you.
Simone: There you are. Why don't you come inside and join the party? Something's bothering you. What's wrong?
Chad: It's nothing.
Simone: No, come on, chad. Tell me.
Chad: Nothing's wrong, simone.
Simone: I know what it is. I know how desperately you wanted to find your real parents. And I just want you to know that I haven't forgotten my promise that I would help you.
Chad: Look, I came to harmony to find them, you know, and in all the time that I've been here, I haven't even come close to tracking them down. I'm just beginning to believe it's -- it's not possible.
Simone: No. No, you cannot give up, chad. Everything is possible, right? You just have to keep at it. Besides, I think your parents are here. And I'm going to do everything I can to help you find them.
Julian: It's only natural that you'd want to believe that our son was still alive. I have no idea whether or not that's so, but you have to think of the repercussions. What would happen to you, to your -- to your life, your family, if our son came back?
T.C.: What are you doing with my wife?
Julian: No, eve was upset. She came in here and I --
T.C.: Stay away from my family, julian! Do you understand me?
Whitney: Thank you so much for letting me wear this beautiful gown and jewelry. I promise I'll be careful, ok?
Theresa: Just relax. I got plenty more where that came from. Hmm. In fact, why don't you just keep everything that you have on.
Whitney: I can't do that.
Theresa: Why not? You're my best friend.
Whitney: And you're my best friend, but I don't want to start, you know, getting used to things that I can't have. And neither should you.
Theresa: I am mrs. Julian crane, ok? A court said so. Even alistair has given me a job at crane industries.
Whitney: I'm not -- I'm not just talking about the jewelry and the clothes and everything. I'm talking about ethan. I mean, you still keep trying to get him back after he's already told you a zillion times that he doesn't want to be with you.
Theresa: No, whitney. See, in ethan's heart, he still loves me, which means I can still get him back.
Whitney: How can you keep putting yourself through this? I mean, my God, you were almost executed.
Theresa: Which showed ethan that I love him enough to die for him. Now, I'd pay to see gwen top that.
Whitney: You know, sometimes I wish you'd never met ethan, that you never took that job here working for his mother. That way your life, not to mention mine, would be so much happier.
Theresa: If I had never met ethan, I never would've had my baby. My wonderful little ethan.
Whitney: Wait a second -- are you telling me that ethan is really your baby's father?
Ethan: Gwen, relax. Look, I -- I love you. And no one and nothing is ever going to come between us again. I promise. Looks like chad needs some help. I'll be with you in a second.
Gwen: Well, I'll be waiting.
Ethan: I meant it. I won't let anyone or anything ever take you away from me again.
Gwen: I won't let you win, theresa. I will not let you take ethan away from me again.
Antonio: I know why you're upset, sheridan. It's about beth.
Antonio: Well, you're seeing beth's mother here and it's reminding you of your mother and you're wishing that she hadn't have died when you were little.
Sheridan: Well, yes, that's true. I -- I do miss my mother very much.
Antonio: Mama said catherine crane was a wonderful, beautiful, loving woman just like you. What is it?
Sheridan: What if I die young, too, like my mother did?
Mrs. Wallace: Oh, tsk, tsk, tsk. It must be so painful seeing the woman that you love held so closely in your brother's strong arms.
Luis: Yeah, well, we have to keep up the rusthat sheridan and antonio are engaged. Dr. Russell says that if antonio finds out that sheridan and i are engaged -- well, the shock could kill him.
Mrs. Wallace: Well, we certainly don't want that.
Whitney: Well, still, when a man holds a woman like antonio isolding sheridan, honey, he's got one thing in mind. I -- I know that you love your brother. Just don't forget that sheridan is your one true love. Andon't let anyone ever get between you.
Hecuba: I will help you break hearts and ruin lives if you promise by all that is unholy to set me free. Now, all you have to do is go down to tabitha's basement, find the bottle that I'm trapped in, and open it!
Tabitha: No! No, don't listen to her!
Connie: Sounds tempting, but I need to know how you plan to help me if you can't even help yourself out of a bottle.
Hecuba: Why don't you go to that darling little cupboard dish over there. Open it up. There should be a vial inside.
Tabitha: Oh, no! No, not that!
Connie: What's this?
Hecuba: Oh, that's one of my best spells -- premixed, ready to go. Just open it and let the anguish begin!
Connie: Define "anguish."
Hecuba: Incredible pain and suffering, feelings of loss and regret. In short, it'll screw up lives big time.
Tabitha: Oh, don't let her tempt you, connie! What's in that vial is too dangerous to be unleashed!
Hecuba: Ignore her, kidlet! Make a name for yourself and use what's in that vial. You give me my freedom and you can give the people of harmony hell!
Tabitha: There are other ways to be evil, connie. Be a lawyer, work for the I.R.S., But whatever you do, don't take hecuba up on this offer!
Hecuba: So what's it going to be, cracked connie? Have we consummated a contract or not? Hmm?
