Passions Transcript Monday 7/22/02
Julian: Mustn't forget the mutt.
Timmy: Timmy would never forget Timmyís best friend. He can't wait for Toto to see harmony.
Julian: That makes two of us. I feel like I've been on this damnable thing for days. How do people survive without limousines?
Timmy: Timmy doesn't know why Julianís in such a rush to get home. Isn't he worried that people in harmony will be angry?
Julian: Hardly. They'll probably throw a ticker tape for me to celebrate my return.
Timmy: Timmy doesn't think the Lopez Fitzgeraldís will go, not after Julian letting Theresa be executed for his murder.
Julian: Do I look worried to you? On second thought, it might be best to keep the news of my homecoming quiet for a bit. I'll go straight to the mansion from the bus stop, sit tight for a while.
Timmy: Julian's a bigger coward than the cowardly lion.
Julian: Better to be a live coward than a dead hero, I always say. Still carrying that ridiculous object d'art around with you, I see.
Timmy: It's not an O.J. It's the demon's horn. Timmy has to save charity and destroy the zombie. He'd do anything to save charity, even die if he has to. Don't worry, Toto. She's worth the risk. Charity's the most beautiful girl in the world.
Zombie charity: Give me the vial!
Kay: You can't have it!
Zombie charity: It's mine! I'm the one who bottled the real charity's essence, and I need it to make Miguel have sex with me.
Kay: Not on your life. I'm not going to let you kill him!
Miguel: Hey! What's going on in here? Charity, why are you attacking Kay?
Pilar: Mijo, you have no idea what your news means to me, especially now.
Brian: Is something wrong, mama?
Pilar: Nothing, nothing, mijo, nothing for you to worry about right now. So, you really are coming home, huh?
Brian: Yes, yes, I promise. I cannot wait for you to meet Diana.
Pilar: I can't wait, either.
Brian: And I'm dying to introduce her to the rest of the family. Is everyone going to be around?
Luis: He's just coming home after everything we've been through.
Pilar: Hold on, Antonio. Luis, I know you're angry with your brother because you think this is his fault. But he had no way of knowing about Theresaís execution --
Luis: How could he not know? It's been in the news everywhere. And if he had been here, maybe Theresa wouldn't be lying in a coffin.
Jessica: Let's go, simony.
Whitney: Let me explain what's going on here.
Chad: No, Whitney, Whitney, let me. Listen to me, simony --
Simony: Chad, you don't -- you don't have to say anything. I know what's going on here.
Zombie charity: You thought we were fighting?
Miguel: It looked like you wanted to scratch Kayís eyes out.
Zombie charity: Are you serious? No. We were just messing around. Kay has something of mine, and she won't give it back to me.
Kay: It's not yours.
Zombie charity: It is, too. I want it now, Kay.
Miguel: Charity, What's wrong with you? All right, is it really that big of a deal?
Zombie charity: As a matter of fact, yes, Miguel, it is a big deal.
Miguel: Ok, well, whatever it is, why don't you just give it to her, Kay, all right? Anything to keep the peace.
Zombie charity: You heard Miguel. Now give it back to me, Kay.
Brian: Are you sure everything's ok there, mama? You sound kind of strange.
Pilar: No -- no. It's just hearing your voice. I'm glad you're coming home, son.
Luis: Well, that makes one of us.
Sheridan: Is everything all right there?
Brian: One second, mama. Yeah, she says it is, but I don't know, it sounds like she's holding something back.
Sheridan: Maybe she's upset we're engaged.
Brian: No, no, that's not it. She's going to love you the second she lays eyes on you, just like I did. Sorry, mama. Are you still there?
Pilar: Un memento, major. Luis, I don't understand this anger with your brother.
Luis: I told you. Antonio should have been here for Theresa. He should have been here for all of us.
Pilar: Luis, I am sure that if he would have known what was at stake, he would have been here. Now I'm asking you --
Por favor, don't let your feelings get in the way of my reunion with Antonio. I need to be with my first-born son. Please, now more than ever.
Luis: All right. I'm sorry. I promise I'll try and behave, ok?
Pilar: I'm here, Antonio. How do you feel?
Kay: I'm not going to do it. I'm not going to give it to you.
Zombie charity: You heard Miguel. He said give it to me!
Miguel: Look, whatever it is, just give her the thing. Ok, she's obviously not herself.
Kay: You're telling me this.
Miguel: Kay, please. All right, I hate seeing her this way.
Kay: Miguel, You don't understand --
Miguel: Maybe I do, ok? Maybe I do, more than you know. You're afraid charity's losing it. Well, so am I. I even told her how worried I was.
Kay: I bet she didn't like that very much, huh?
Miguel: What could I do? You know, I had to be straight with her. My feelings for her have changed because she's changed. Anyway, she got all upset, and it made me realize that maybe she needs to see a therapist or something, help her work through her anger.
Kay: I'm not so sure that's going to do it.
Miguel: Yeah, well, it couldn't hurt. You know, maybe it's a delayed reaction to her losing her mother in that fire or all these doom-and-gloom premonitions she has. But whatever it is, she's not going to calm down until you give her what she's asking for. So just do it for me, If not for her, ok?
Kay: Miguel --
Miguel: I feel lousy asking you for any more than I already have. I don't know how I would have gotten through my sister's execution without you. But I need you to do this one last favor for me. I don't have anywhere else to turn.
Kay: I guess you guys are right. Maybe I should give this to you. I mean after all, it is really precious.
Zombie charity: It's about time.
Timmy: Julian should be ashamed of himself!
Julian: What's your problem now, pip-squeak?
Timmy: Look. Look what Julian did.
Julian: So? It's not as if I killed Theresa. The state did.
Timmy: Timmy doesn't know how Julian can live with himself. Theresa died for his murder, and he is not even dead!
Julian: Would you stop making a scene? I don't want people to know that Iím here. And is it my fault that Iím still alive? If you recall, someone went to a great deal of trouble to do me in, and as far as the world is concerned, they succeeded.
Timmy: That's what Timmy means. Julian could have returned to harmony and saved Theresa before the execution. But he didnít. Doesn't Julian care about right and wrong?
Julian: The only thing I care about is my own survival. And once I get inside the mansion, none of this will matter a whit. I'll hire extra security. I'll bar the gates. And even if Luis and Ethan find out I'm still alive, they'll never get through the front door. None of the riffraff in this town will ever set foot in my home again.
Luis: Phyllis --
Phyllis: Yes, sir. Who did you think it was?
Luis: I don't know. For a second, I -- I thought you were Theresa.
Phyllis: Oh, I'm sorry. It's only me. I didn't mean to scare you.
Luis: No, don't be silly. I -- I don't know what I was thinking.
Phyllis: Well, I just wanted to see if you needed anything. I feel so terrible. Your sister was very good to me. She was my favorite Mrs. Crane.
Luis: Thanks. We have everything we need.
Luis: I miss you so much.
Brian: Did I hear my brother's voice in the background?
Pilar: No, mijo. That was someone else.
Brian: Ok. Well, I know Iím going to be there soon, but am there any way that I could talk to Theresa? I'd love to hear that giggle of hers. I'm sure it sounds the same as it did when she was a little kid.
Pilar: I'm afraid that's impossible.
Brian: Ugh, that's too bad, because I would have loved to put Diana on the phone with her. So I better let you go, mama. I'll see you soon, though.
Pilar: Mijo, just one thing before you go. Is everything all right? You sound tired.
Brian: No, no. You know what? I'll be as good as new the moment I lay eyes on you.
Pilar: Bye, mijo. Hearing from Antonioís the answer to my prayers.
Phyllis: I know you said you didn't need anything, but the cook wanted to make you something special. She loved Theresa, too. You know, why don't I go and take this outside out onto the terrace?
Luis: All right. Thank you. I didn't want to say anything, but eating's about the last thing I want to do right now.
Pilar: I know. Teresita, I'll be back, mija. I still have some prayers I want to say for you.
Brian: Why the grim face, doc? You sad I'm leaving your fine hospital so soon?
Doctor: I'm afraid Iím going to have to ask you to step out for a few moments. I need some time with my patient.
Sheridan: Why can't I stay? Is everything all right?
Simone: I am so sorry.
Whitney: For what?
Simone: What you've been through today is unimaginable.
Whitney: No --
Simone: Thank you for comforting her until I could be with her. How are you?
Whitney: I -- I'm not really sure that --
Simone: You don't have to say a thing. I told you he is the best boyfriend in the world. Did he tell you that we just missed you by a couple of minutes?
Chad: I didn't get a chance.
Simone: Jessica and I were just here looking for you. Wait -- how did you come in and -- and you didn't pass us?
Whitney: Um --
Simone: Stupid me. I forgot that there was a back way in. Well, thank goodness that I forgot my bag. Otherwise, I would have gone all the way home and I would have had to come all the way back. Mom told you that we were looking for you, huh?
Whitney: That's right. That's right. That's why I came here, because I was looking for you.
Simone: You have been so on my mind. I can't imagine what it's like to lose Theresa like that. Oh. You know, I know I can't bring her back, Whitney, or even be like her. But I'm going to do everything in my power to be more than just a sister to you. I want to be your best friend.
Simone: Would you guys mind if I talk to my sister alone for a couple of minutes?
Simone: There's another reason why I wanted to find you tonight. I owe you a huge apology.
Whitney: No, no, no. For what? I --
Simone: Because I believed that you would try to take Chad away from me, and I've been acting like a -- a jealous monster, and I know that you would never do something like that to me.
Chad: Man, This is a nightmare. I've got to tell Simone the truth. I mean, yeah, it's going to hurt her for a while, but you know what? She's young. She's smart. She'll get over it. She'll be fine. She's just got to understand that the way Whitney and I feel for each other has nothing to do with her.
Jessica: Chad, wait.
Chad: Why? Why should I? Lies are things that cause the most hurt, you know.
Jessica: Normally, I'd agree with you. I just don't want to see you do something you end up regretting. This isn't just a crush that two girls have on a guy. They're sisters, and they're both in love with you. This is huge.
Simone: Hey. I just told my sister that I loved her. There's nothing that I won't do to try to make up for what happened to Theresa.
Chad: Well, you know, Simone, if that's the case, then you know what? There is something that we need to tell you.
Whitney: Chad --
Chad: No, Whitney, no. It is time. It's time.
Miguel: Please, Kay, just give it to her if it'll make charity feel better.
Kay: All right.
[Zombie charity screams]
Miguel: What happened?
Zombie charity: Nothing. The edges of the cross just pricked my hand.
Miguel: It's beautiful. Isn't this your mother's?
Kay: Yeah. I always thought she was going to give it to me, but I guess she gave it to charity.
Zombie charity: That's all right, Kay. You can just keep it.
Miguel: What are you talking about? A minute ago you wanted it so badly, you were going to fight Kay for it.
Zombie charity: Actually, I just thought she had something else of mine.
Miguel: Do you, Kay?
Kay: No. All I have is this rosary. But, charity, are you sure you don't want it? You know, mom would want you to have it. I mean, you could wear it around your neck.
Zombie charity: I don't think so.
Kay: Well, shouldn't you at least just try it?
Zombie charity: No. Keep it.
Miguel: You seem so edgy. Why don't you go upstairs and take a bath or something, try to relax. We can talk later or tomorrow.
Zombie charity: No, Miguel, I'm fine. I'm sorry. I really just want to stay down here with you.
Miguel: Charity, you're tired. You should just go and try to relax. Can I use your phone to check in with my mom?
Zombie charity: Where's the damn vial?
Kay: I don't know. All I have is the rosary.
Zombie charity: If you're lying to me or if you have it, Kay, you better give it back. Otherwise, Iím not just going to kill Miguel. I'm going to kill you, too.
Kay: What? What is it?
Zombie charity: Timmy. I just got the sharpest, clearest image of Timmy. Don't worry about it. Why don't you worry about your own life and Miguelís?
Kay: Miguel's safe for now. For how long?
Miguel: The line was busy. I'm going to try her again later.
Miguel: I'm really worried about charity. I mean, you don't know what's going with her, do you?
Kay: You're asking the wrong person.
Miguel: I've never seen anyone change so drastically. She used to be so sweet and innocent, you know? That's why I fell in love with her. And now I don't know who she is.
Sheridan: I don't understand why you want me to leave. You said that brain was making an incredible recovery.
Brian: Yeah, hey, but who said anything was wrong? I mean, the doctor just said he wanted to talk to me alone. I am his patient, after all.
Sheridan: I get it. This is about doctor-patient privilege, right?
Doctor: Something like that.
Sheridan: Why didn't you just say so? I'll wait outside.
Brian: Great. Hey, before you go, see if you could find me an ice tea or something before we head out of here?
Sheridan: I'll see if I can rustle one up.
Brian: All right, thanks. Well, I might as well get dressed while you talk. So, what's the story, doc?
Doctor: Do you remember that second battery of tests that we ran?
Brian: Yeah. You said you wanted to confirm the results from the first go-round.
Doctor: Exactly. Only that's not what happened. The new results were rather troubling.
Brian: I don't understand. You said I was in amazing shape, considering what Iíve been through.
Doctor: Well, that's what I thought then.
Brian: So, what are you saying, doc? What's the bottom line?
Doctor: You're seriously ill, brain. In fact, you could die.
Pilar: That's sweet of Phyllis to want to take care of us.
Luis: Yeah. She didn't know Theresa all that well, but I think she really cared about her. Oh, my God, Theresa! Co
Singer: You are my passion for life
Miguel: I wish I knew what was wrong so I could help her. I just feel so in the dark.
Kay: You're not the only one.
Miguel: You know, I honestly thought that she was the person I was going to spend the rest of my life with. You know, she was so perfect. I remember thinking that she walked with this glow around her, like she was an angel sent to me from heaven.
Kay: Miguel, why don't we have some of my mom's lemonade while we talk?
Miguel: I'd like that.
Kay: Ok. Wait for me in the living room. I'll bring some in.
Miguel: All right.
Kay: I wonder what would happen if I dabbed some of this on, charity's essence.
Julian: Oh, I can't wait to get home. The first thing I'm going to do is smoking a fine Cuban cigar and luxuriate in a warm bath.
Timmy: Does Julian like bubbles in his bath?
Julian: Well, sometimes, but ordinarily I prefer salts. Why I am a discussing my personal grooming habits with you? God!
Timmy: Maybe because Timmy, Julian, and Toto have become very close in the past few weeks.
Julian: Speak for yourself. Personally, I can't wait to see the last of you. Don't you have a zombie to save or something?
Timmy: No, Julian. Timmy's going to destroy the zombie and save the real charity. Don't worry, charity. Timmy will save you. Timmy will save you.
Zombie charity: Ugh! Damn it! I knew it! The ice is melting. Timmy must be getting closer to harmony. Or worse, he could already be here. I got to destroy charity for good before Timmy gets here with the demon's horn.
Pilar: Luis, what is it?
Luis: Look through the window! It's Theresa.
Pilar: Yes, mijo. She's in her coffin.
Luis: She was just sitting up. Mama, she was just sitting up in her casket.
Pilar: That's not possible, Luis. You're just tired.
Luis: Oh, am I? You said that you saw Theresa last night in your bedroom.
Pilar: Luis, we are both exhausted. I would love nothing more than have my daughter back. But that's why Iím so grateful Antonio will be coming home.
Luis: Oh, so you think that Iím losing it?
Pilar: No, major, I donít. But you have been through the same trauma that I have, and I think it will be best for both of us if someone with a clear-thinking head is here.
Luis: All right, fine. Whatever makes you happy?
Pilar: Please, just don't be angry with him.
Luis: How do you expect me to be civil to someone who doesn't even give a damn that his own sister was executed? All right, fine. You want to let him off the hook this time? Go ahead. Not me. Not this time. Not ever.
Brian: Look, doc, are you sure that whatever it is you found -- are you sure that it can kill me?
Doctor: I can't say definitely without doing more tests. That's why I need you to stay and --
Brain: No! No way. I am not doing any more tests. Look, let me tell you something, doc. I haven't seen my family in years. And there's one of my brothers -- I got to work something out with him. I have to iron everything out, and I have to go home now.
Doctor: I strongly advise against it.
Brian: Well, what if I say that Iíll go see a doctor when I go home? I'll let him do a complete checkup.
Doctor: In your condition, every day is critical.
Brian: Then why not let me live it where I want to be? Look, doctor, I am as strong as a horse. Yeah, I may be a little shaky on my feet. After a crash like that, anybody would be. Come on, doctor, have a heart. All I want to do is take my fiancťe back to meet my family.
Doctor: I can't stop you, but promise me you'll see a doctor as soon as you get home.
Brian: All right, I promise.
Doctor: I'll have your discharge papers drawn up.
Sheridan: Want your ice tea?
Brian: Ah, great, thanks.
Sheridan: So, you ready to leave?
Brian: Yeah, yeah. I've just got to put the rest of my clothes on and Iíll be ready to go. The doctor's doing the discharge papers now, so --
Sheridan: Great. So we can put all this behind us and start a new future together.
Nurse: I thought you told him the bad news.
Doctor: I did. I have a feeling he's not going to share it with the woman he loves. There's a little effort in all of us to live a more balanced lifestyle.
Simone: Time to tell me what?
Chad: Simone, it's like this --
Whitney: Simone, I want to spend more time with you.
Simone: That's what you wanted to say?
Whitney: Yes. Yes, I love you so much. I love you so much.
Simone: Oh, I love you, too.
Hmm, that's why I feel so bad for letting Kay get to me like that. I was a total jerk with you.
Whitney: Oh, well, that's all in the past now, anyway.
Simone: Thank you for not holding my actions against me. I swear, Whitney, on grandpa Russellís grave, I will never let anything come between us again.
Kay: What am I going to do? If I put this on, Miguelís going to want to make love to me. But I told father Lonigan I would pour it down the drain.
Miguel: Hey, Kay?
Kay: Miguel. I thought you were going to wait in the living room.
Miguel: I am. I just wanted to tell you how much your friendship means to me. I never would have been able to get through Theresaís execution without you.
Kay: Well, you know, hey, you've been there for me, too.
Miguel: I'm not so sure about that. You know, I don't think I've been the kind of friend I used to be to you since charity came into my life. You know, it's funny. Theresa once said that if I never met charity, she thought you and me would get together.
Kay: Really? Theresa said that?
Miguel: Yep. You know Theresa. She was all about love, which would end up with who, that kind of thing.
Miguel: So Iím going to go wait in there.
Kay: Theresa never got the opportunity to have her dreams come true with Ethan. I'm not going to let this chance slip by.
Kay: [As charity] Miguel will love me now. He'll want me. I know he will.
Brian: Hey, why don't you use the phone to book us a flight to harmony, and I'll finish getting dressed, ok?
Sheridan: You got a deal.
Simone: We're sisters, and sisters have to stick together, no matter what.
Whitney: I know.
Jessica: I really feel for you, Chad. I don't know how you're going to tell Simone about you and Whitney now. It'll break her heart.
Timmy: What is it, Julian?
Julian: My house -- I can see the front gate from here. Oh.
Timmy: So Timmy guesses this is good-bye.
Julian: More like good riddance. Well, a nice life, you two.
Timmy: Is that all Julian has to say?
Julian: Actually, no. I want your word that you won't tell anyone I'm back in harmony, much less alive.
Timmy: Timmy won't say a thing. But people are bound to find out.
Julian: Well, as long as I have time to get inside the mansion and bar the door. Once Iím inside, I will never have to see a Lopez Fitzgerald, a Russell, or a Bennett ever again.
Timmy: This is it, Toto. Timmy has to save charity. He's going to the cave, and Timmy can't wait for Toto to meet the girl he loves.
Zombie charity: Damn. The ice is melting quite fast. Looks like Timmyís closing in with the demon's horn. Too bad for charity Iím already here.
Zombie charity: Yeah, it's me, your zombie double, and, no, Iím not here to welcome you back. I'm here to destroy you.
Charity: Hurry, Timmy, hurry.
Miguel: I can't believe it.
Kay: [As charity] what's that, Miguel?
Miguel: You seem so different, like Iím feeling feelings I used to feel about you. It's like you're your old self again.
Kay's voice: It's working. I'm going to make love to Miguel.
Sheridan: We can get our tickets at the airport. They said we'd be in harmony in no time.
Brian: Great, because I cannot wait for you to meet my family. I know they're going to love you just as much as I do.
Brian: Yeah, once we get to harmony, it's going to be smooth sailing from here on out.
Pilar: You are taking out your anger with Antonio because of what happened to your sister.
Luis: No, that is not it. I just have a real problem with him waltzing back in here with his bride-to-be like everything's been great since he left.
Pilar: Luis, look, it's time for us to look to the future and not backwards to the things that we cannot change. Now, a part of me died when Theresa died, but I have to stay strong, because of you and Beth and starting a new life and so are Antonio with Diana. And I am praying to God that these marriages will be a new beginning for our family and end all this unjust suffering that we've endured.
