Kay: Oh, Miguel.

Miguel: You're a wonderful person, and I really care about you.

Kay: Thank you. That means a lot to me. I just -- I canít believe how Charityís turning on all of us. Especially you.

Miguel: Itís too weird. I donít understand it, but I'm glad you and I have each other to get through it.

Kay: Me, too.

Miguel: Hey, itís getting late. You know, we should start heading home.

Kay: Yeah. Thank God I didnít tell Miguel the truth about zombie Charity -- that the real Charity is trapped in ice. Because now I really think I've got a chance at getting him to fall in love with me. I'm just going to have to take my chances with the zombie. She has gotten a little out of control. But I guess I -- I'm just going to have to rein her back in. Whatís the worst that could happen?

Charity: Tabitha. Timmy -- you're alive?

Timmy: Timmyís a real boy.

Charity: Whatís going on?

Timmy: Um --

Charity: I know who you are. I know what you're up to.

Timmy: Uh-oh.

Tabitha: "Uh-oh" is right. Itís checkout time.

Ethan: Look, Gwen, I want to thank you.

Gwen: For what?

Ethan: For tonight. It was nice. You know, I never thought I'd be able to go out, you know, let alone get over whatís happened with Theresa.

Gwen: Have you?

Ethan: Well, not totally. It still hurts. And it didnít help seeing her at the youth center.

Gwen: Ethan, I'm sorry.

Ethan: Yeah, me, too. Look, I'm going to head over to the mansion, see how my motherís doing.

Gwen: I'll come with you. I'll check on my mother, too.

Ethan: Itís hard to imagine the two of them living under the same roof.

Gwen: I know. You're telling me.

Ivy: Where are they? Where are they? I -- oh. No, I thought I left them here. I just -- oh, God, I need that other prescription. I just thought I left it here. Where could it be?

Rebecca: You looking for these, Ivy?

Ivy: Ugh -- Rebecca.

Rebecca: Pain getting to you, is it?

Ivy: Just give me my pills.

Rebecca: Oh, now, now, we wouldnít want you to take too many of these.

Ivy: Why donít you just let me worry about that?

Rebecca: Well, what kind of friend would I be if I allowed you to overmedicate yourself?

Ivy: Give them to me, Rebecca!

Rebecca: No, no, no, no. I'm only trying to help. You obviously donít know whatís best for yourself right now.

Ivy: So help me, Rebecca --

Rebecca: Oh, and then thereís the little problem about David.

Ivy: Oh, when I get my hands on you --

Rebecca: See, your little plot to split up Sam and Grace is about to blow up in your face. Ivy, you are going down in flames. Oh, and it just wouldnít be nearly as much fun to watch if you were anesthetized. No, I want you to feel every little bit of pain thatís coming to you. I will sleep so much better knowing that you are in total agony.

Pilar: Theresa?

Theresa: Thereís nothing left for me, not even hope. And without it, I have no reason to live.

Pilar: No, Teresita. Killing yourself over Ethan is not the answer. I have to go find her.

Theresa: I've lost Ethan and all my dreams for the future. Thereís nothing left for me. There is no reason to live. I had it all, everything that I ever dreamed of. My life -- it was wonderful. It was perfect. But now itís changed. God, I'm pregnant with Julian Craneís baby!

Ethan: Look what your lies have done to both of our lives.

Theresa: Julian cost me everything. And I canít live like this, not after all I've lost. Thereís nothing left for me to do. To go on like this? I canít.

Ivy: Go to hell.

Rebecca: You see, once Johnís DNA test is in, everyone is going to know that he is not David and Graceís son, and your little plot to destroy Sam and Grace will be exposed.

Ivy: Oh, donít count on it, Becky. You've got nothing on me, and when all is said and done, it will be you with egg on that bitchy face of yours.

Rebecca: I know that you told Sam Bennett that you thought I was the killer in an attempt to make him suspicious of me.

Ivy: It was no attempt, Rebecca. You are the prime suspect, and I do mean prime.

Rebecca: Oh, and you're not? You had far more reason to kill Julian than I did, no matter how hard you try to take the focus off yourself.

Ivy: I didnít kill Julian.

Rebecca: Oh, Ivy. You really are a hoot. Oh. Do you really think people are going to buy that one? You know, if you are going to cop a plea, you're going to have to try to have just a little bit more conviction in your voice and try to put a more earnest look in those beady little eyes of yours.

Ivy: If anybody ends up in front of a jury, itís going to be you, Rebecca. And you better pray itís twelve old, decrepit, nearsighted men you can bribe with sexual favors, or you donít stand a chance. You're looking at life in the state pen.

Charity: I know who you are. I remember. Itís all coming back to me -- what you've done to me. You -- you're trying to destroy what I have with Miguel -- our love. You're trying to tear us apart. But I'm not going to let you. I wonít let you get away with this!

Timmy: Get her, Charity!

Kay: Miguel, you know, if you want to talk, I am a good listener.

Miguel: I know. I was just thinking about Charity, the way she was acting tonight. So strange. And it only seems like itís getting worse.

Kay: Yeah. She was kind of awful to you. I donít get that. What happened to the sweet girl we used to know?

Miguel: Something else is going on, something outside of Charity. I can feel it.

Kay: What do you mean?

Miguel: I'm not sure. But, hey, hereís Charity acting all weird. And Whitney is totally acting crazy at the party. Itís like people arenít acting like themselves. You know, and then there are all these couples who are having trouble and pain in their relationships, like Luis and Sheridan, Ethan and Theresa, me and Charity. You know, I'm beginning to wonder if evil hasnít come back into Harmony.

Charity: No. Itís not just my relationship with Miguel that you're after. You're evil, pure evil. You're out to destroy all of us, everyone in Harmony. Destroy lives. I see it. All the pain and the sorrow -- I see it. I see everything.

Zombie Charity: That is really excellent, Charity. Kudos for catching on so quickly. The other poor fools are still scratching their heads trying to figure it out.

Charity: You.

Tabitha: Me?

Charity: I know all about you. You're a witch!

Tabitha: What, me?

Charity: You're behind everything! And you -- why are you alive?

Timmy: Timmy will explain everything, but now is not the time.

Charity: Donít you know what you've done? Have you any idea the hell you've unleashed?

Tabitha: Yes, well, actually, I'm on her side.

Zombie Charity: As if you had any choice in the matter.

Charity: You canít do this. You wonít. I'll stop you. Goodness will prevail. And evil will be destroyed!

Ivy: Got you scared, havenít I, Becky?

Rebecca: Me? Now, why would I be scared when your little plot to destroy Sam and Grace is about to come crashing down around you?

Ivy: Well, I wouldnít pop the champagne just yet.

Rebecca: Oh, I wonít. But itís definitely on ice.

Ivy: You have no proof that I did anything, and you know it. Whereas you are --

Rebecca: Completely innocent.

Ivy: Oh. Motive, opportunity, and gun -- that little trifecta is going to put you just where you belong.

Rebecca: I did not kill Julian.

Ivy: You know, even if you do manage to wiggle out of the murder charge somehow Rebecca, I've got plenty of other things on you.

Rebecca: Other things?

Ivy: Oh, yes. Like lately, I've been wondering -- how did my letter to Sam and proof of Ethanís paternity really end up in the tabloid office?

Rebecca: Theresa.

Ivy: Yes, Theresa. But, you know, when you think about it, Theresa didnít have anything to gain by that and actually everything to lose -- Ethan. Whereas someone, say -- oh, I donít know, your daughter, Gwen -- she had everything to gain.

Rebecca: Ivy, where do you come up with this stuff?

Ivy: Well, one thing I can tell you for certain, Rebecca -- Ethan would be very interested to know who took his life and the Crane name away from him.

Rebecca: Oh, and I think Ethan would be very interested in knowing how the tabloid found out that Theresa was pregnant with Julianís child. And I donít think he would be very happy to know that his mother destroyed his relationship with the woman he planned to marry.

Ivy: You have no proof of that.

Ethan: Whatís going on here?

Theresa: I love you.

Ethan: Theresa, you should have given our love a chance. But you didnít. Now look whatís happened.

Theresa: How can I live without you, Ethan? You were my life. And without you, I have nothing to live for. Nothing at all.

Zombie Charity: You think you're so good. You think love can conquer all.

Charity: It will. It always does.

Zombie Charity: Got a news flash for you, kid -- itís not going to happen. All this "power of love" stuff -- itís mumbo jumbo, garbage.

Charity: Itís the truth. The power of love and goodness is on my side.

Tabitha: Do something! Freeze her again! Put her back in a block of ice!

Zombie Charity: Not just yet. I want to have a little fun with her first. So you're so certain you can bring me down?

Charity: Not me. Goodness.

Zombie Charity: Ok, goodness, letís see what you got.

Timmy: No!

Ethan: So whatís all the yelling in here?

Gwen: Whatís going on, Mother?

Rebecca: Nothing. We were -- we were talking. Thatís -- thatís all.

Ethan: At the top of your lungs?

Ivy: I -- I suppose I did cry out at one point. I didnít want to tell you this, Ethan, but I've been in a great deal of pain lately and I was trying to take one of my pain pills and Rebecca wouldnít give it to me and I -- I got angry.

Ethan: Well, Rebecca, why wouldnít you let her take a pill?

Rebecca: Because sheís taken too many. Dr. Russell is very concerned that sheís overmedicating.

Ethan: Mother, I didnít -- I didnít know you were in so much pain. Why didnít you tell me?

Ivy: I didnít want to worry you, darling. I know you've had a lot on your mind with Theresa lying to you and her being pregnant by Julian. I -- I just didnít want to be a burden.

Ethan: Mother, you're never a burden. Look, I'll go get us some tea. I'll be right back.

Gwen: Ok, what are you two really up to?

Rebecca: Nothing.

Ivy: No, nothing. Thatís right.

Gwen: Please.

Rebecca: But I am happy to see you here with Ethan. Oh, Gwen, this is the time to strike.

Ivy: Much as I hate to agree with your mother about anything, sheís right. With a little push, you and Ethan could be at the altar.

Gwen: I donít want to hear this.

Rebecca: What do you mean, you donít want to hear this?

Gwen: Whatever you two are up to, I want no part of it. I love Ethan and I want to be with him, but not like this.

Rebecca: Well, what other way is there?

Ivy: Thank you, Ethan.

Ethan: Sure, Mom.

Pilar: Theresa?

Rebecca: Oh, sheís not here.

Pilar: No, she -- sheís dead. She took her own life.

Ivy: Really? Oh, how sad for you, Pilar. Ethan, could you pass the sugar, please?

Ethan: Sure, Mother.

Pilar: Didnít you hear me? My Theresa is dead.

Rebecca: Well, itís hard not to hear you. Oh, Gwen, we should go to Lowell's this afternoon, check out the bridesmaid dresses.

Gwen: Oh! Oh, you did know that Ethan and I were getting married, didnít you?

Rebecca: Oh, and donít even think about getting the church on Saturday for Theresaís funeral. We've already booked it for the wedding.

Pilar: Ethan, sheís dead. My baby girl, the girl that you loved. It must mean something to you.

Ethan: Well, yes, of course it does, Pilar. Itís -- itís tragic. But Theresa hurt me so much. You know, I trusted her, and what did I get in return? Nothing but lies. She lied to me over and over again. She betrayed my trust, she betrayed our love. I warned her and she just wouldnít listen. Thatís why Gwen and I are going to be married.

Rebecca: Theresa slept with Julian. She married Julian. Thatís why I'm not Mrs. Crane.

Gwen: Oh, have a petit four, Mother.

Rebecca: Oh, I donít mind if I do.

Ivy: Theresa was a schemer and a liar, and she was no good for my son.

Ethan: She lied to me.

Rebecca: Slept with Julian.

Ivy: She was a schemer.

Ethan: She betrayed my trust.

Ivy: Sheís no good --

Rebecca: Married Julian.

Ivy: No good for my son.

Ethan: I canít marry her. She lied to me.

Ivy: She was a schemer.

Ethan: She betrayed my trust.

Ivy: Sheís no good, no good for my son.

Ethan: I canít marry her.

Theresa: I didnít mean for any of this to happen. Nobody cares if I live or die now, and my life doesnít matter.

Ethan: Look, Mother, I'm going to talk to Dr. Russell and see what can be done about your pain. I'm concerned about you.

Ivy: Oh, thank you, Ethan. You're such a good son. But I know you have your own problems to deal with now. I'm just glad Gwen is there for you.

Pilar: Where is she? What have you done to her? Answer me!

Ethan: Pilar, what are you talking about? What have we done to whom?

Pilar: Theresa.

Ethan: What about her?

Pilar: Sheís -- sheís so depressed and so devastated that I think sheís thinking of taking her own life.

Ethan: What?

Rebecca: Oh, please. Suicide? That is so transparent.

Pilar: Transparent?

Rebecca: It is nothing but cheap melodrama. Do not fall for it, Ethan. Please, give us a break.

Pilar: You shut your mouth, Rebecca!

Rebecca: How dare you!

Pilar: Did she come here?

Ivy: No. Why would she?

Pilar: I believe that she knows that you are the one that went to the tabloid, telling them that she was pregnant with Julianís child.

Ivy: Thatís absurd.

Pilar: Is it? Is it? You despise her. You and Rebecca, both of you. You've driven her to such despair that she believed that the only choice she has is to take her own life.

Ethan: Mother, that isnít true. You werenít responsible for the tabloid finding out that Theresa was pregnant, were you? Were you, Mother?

Miguel: Theresa?

Kay: Theresa, what are you doing?

Theresa: Oh, I was --

Miguel: What are you doing up on the ledge?

Theresa: I was just --

Miguel: Hey.

Theresa: Thanks. I was -- uh, thinking -- I was looking out at the water and I dropped my scarf. And, you know, I'm looking for it, so --

Miguel: I donít see it.

Theresa: Well, I guess the water took it away.

Miguel: You know, the currents were really strong tonight, so anything that falls in the water is just going to get swept out to sea in a hurry. So maybe you shouldnít hang out so close to the edge. You might lose your balance and fall in.

Theresa: I'll be careful.

Miguel: How come you're out here so late, anyway?

Theresa: I was -- I was thinking.

Miguel: About Ethan?

Theresa: I just have to accept that itís over. Whereís Charity, hmm? Did you guys get a chance to talk?

Miguel: Things have gotten worse between us.

Theresa: No. No, why?

Miguel: I donít know. I mean, somethingís changed Charity. I wish I knew what it was so I could deal with it, but itís like some weird mystery.

Timmy: Is Charity ok? Timmyís so sorry.

Charity: I -- I know.

Timmy: Timmy wants to help Charity. The angel girl told Timmy that Charity and Timmyís lives are intertwined, connected. Thatís it! Thatís how Timmy can help Charity. Timmy can get the angel girl to help. Timmy could get her --

Tabitha: Are you mad?

Timmy: No. Itís just Timmyís -- Timmyís in love. Timmy wants to help Charity.

Tabitha: Use your head, lad. What do you think zombie will do to us if you help Charity?

Zombie Charity: Had enough?

Charity: No. I will never stop fighting you.

Zombie Charity: And just what do you think you're going to fight me with? You're powerless. You canít stand. Thereís nothing you can do.

Charity: You're wrong. The power of love is on my side.

Timmy: Love conquers all.

Zombie Charity: Silence!

Charity: Nothing is stronger than love, and I will use it to bring you down.

Zombie Charity: Bravely spoken.

Charity: I will call on love -- true love -- to battle evil. And the power of love will win.

Tabitha: Quick, do something. Refreeze her.

Charity: Love conquers all. Miguel! Miguel! Miguel! Miguel! Miguel!

Ethan: Come on, Theresa. Answer.

Pilar: I donít know if she took her cell phone, Ethan.

Ethan: Well, I'll try back in a couple minutes.

Pilar: By then it might be too late.

Rebecca: This is so pathetic. Nothing but manipulation.

Pilar: You are a wicked woman, Rebecca.

Rebecca: At, because I speak the truth?

Ethan: Mother, you didnít answer my question. Now, did you drive Theresa to this?

Ivy: To what? We donít know that sheís done anything to herself.

Pilar: She was so devastated that she said she had nothing to live for.

Ivy: Well, thatís not my fault.

Ethan: I certainly hope not, for your sake, Mother. And yours, Rebecca.

Ivy: Theresa is her own worst enemy. She did this to herself. I mean, nobody forced her to sleep with Julian, to marry him, to get pregnant.

Pilar: Everything that comes out of your vile mouth is a lie. You've had a hand in this, both of you. All you care about is your own worthless selves. You've destroyed my babyís life. You've driven her to despair. And if -- if she takes her life tonight, it will be on your heads.

Miguel: Looks like your scarfís gone. Why donít we start heading home?

[Phone rings]

Kay: Isnít that your phone?

Miguel: Arenít you going to answer it?

Theresa: Itís -- itís Ivy, calling to rub more salt in my wound. You know, the Cranes are the cruelest. Especially Ivy. Sheís hateful.

Miguel: Hey, itís going to be all right, Theresa. You'll see.

Theresa: I'm sorry, Miguel, that you are going through this, too. I guess love isnít what we thought it was. I lost Ethan and Luis lost Sheridan, and now you and Charity are having trouble.

Miguel: Things change, Theresa. They can go back to the way they were. They can even get better.

Theresa: I always believed that true love could overcome anything, but now I know thatís a fantasy.

Miguel: I hate to hear you talk like this, Sis. I've been thinking about that conversation we had at the youth center when you told me that you'd given up believing in love and fate. And I know you're hurting right now. But like I said, you never know what tomorrow is going to bring.

Theresa: There is no tomorrow for me, Miguel.

Miguel: Of course there is. You are going to find love again. I know this. Come home with Kay and me.

Theresa: No, I -- I just want to be alone with myself just a little while longer. You know, you guys just go ahead and I wonít be long.

Miguel: I donít really think you should be alone right now.

Theresa: I'm going to be fine. Really.

Miguel: Ok.

Theresa: Ok. I love you. I love you and Mama and Luis.

Miguel: We love you, too. You always have your family, no matter what.

Kay: Bye, sweetie.

Theresa: Bye.

Theresa: Good-bye, Miguel. Good-bye.

Kay: Losing someone you love like that has got to be the most painful thing. A person could be driven to almost anything to keep the person they love.

Miguel: I feel the same way. And thatís why I'm going to do whatever I have to to fight for Charity. I love her so much, Kay, no matter how weird sheís been acting lately.

Charity: Miguel!

Miguel: Did you hear that?

Kay: What?

Miguel: Itís Charity. It sounded like she was calling me, like she was in trouble.

Charity: Miguel! Miguel! Miguel!

Tabitha: Why are you just standing there? Do something. You've got to stop Charity before itís too late.

Zombie Charity: Shh.

Charity: Miguel!

Zombie Charity: Donít worry about it. I have this under control.

Charity: Miguel!

Zombie Charity: I'm just biding my time, letting Charity give herself hope.

Charity: Miguel!

Zombie Charity: Let her think that she can save herself and this town. Itís just going to make it all that much more painful when I rip it away from her.

Tabitha: Oh, delicious!

Timmy: Zombie Charityís a horrible -- a horrible --

Charity: Miguel!

Timmy: Whatever. Zombie Charityís horrible.

Charity: Miguel! Miguel!

Zombie Charity: Oh. All of a sudden, I'm feeling really weak. Oh, could it be? Oh. Could the power of love be stronger than -- oh, I'm -- I'm just getting weaker. Help me. Please, help me.

Charity: The power of love can help you if you will open your heart.

Zombie Charity: Yes. I want that. I want to open my heart.

Charity: No.

Zombie Charity: Whatís wrong?

Charity: Not even love can help you.

Zombie Charity: Well, when you're right, you're right, hon. Love sure canít help me, and -- well, it canít help you, either. I summon you, the powers of darkness.

Timmy: Thatís Tabbyís line.

Tabitha: I've been plagiarized.

Zombie Charity: Whereís the power of love now, baby cakes?

Charity: Somebody help me! Timmy!

Timmy: Charity!

Tabitha: Lad, thereís nothing you can do for her now. We have to be very, very careful. I've never seen anything like this zombie.

Timmy: Timmy never wants to see zombie Charity again.

Tabitha: Well, if we get on her wrong side, thereís no telling what she'll do to us. Just make nice, all right?

Charity: Miguel, help me! Save me!

Zombie Charity: Thatís it. Shh. There will be no more calling to Miguel. He canít help you now or ever again.

Miguel: Nothing.

Kay: Maybe it was a seagull or something.

Miguel: It sounded like Charity. I was so sure I heard her voice.

Kay: Miguel, how could it have been?

Miguel: I know. I know you're right. I guess it was just wishful thinking on my part.

Timmy: Tabby?

Tabitha: What now?

Timmy: The water that just dropped is salty.

Tabitha: Well, who cares?

Timmy: Timmy does. That water that just dropped is saltwater. Charityís crying. Charityís crying from inside the ice.

Zombie Charity: Well, she does have a lot to cry about. Charity knows that my reign has just begun. With her out of the way, I'm going to unleash evil the likes of which this burg has never seen. Beware, people of Harmony. Thereís no hope for any of you. By the time I'm done, you will all be destroyed.

Ethan: Thereís no answer.

Pilar: Theresa.

Ethan: Look, thereís no time to lose, but we'll find her.

Pilar: But how? I donít know where she could be.

Ethan: Donít worry, Pilar. We'll find her. Letís go.

Ivy: You know, if Theresa does kill herself, it'll be one less problem that both of us have to deal with.

Rebecca: Well, you and I finally agree on something, Ivy. If Theresa and her baby die, there will only be two Mrs. Cranes left.

Theresa: No reason to live. None. I've lost everything that ever mattered to me. And a life without Ethan -- I couldnít bear it. I just hope that God understands why I have to do this and forgives me.
