Whitney: You know I can't believe I let you talk me into this.

Theresa: Whit, deep down I know that you want to work things out with Chad, and this could be your chance.

Whitney: You know what? I think we should just leave.

Theresa: Why? What's wrong?

Kay: My plan better work.

Timmy: Timmy doesn't get it. Why does Kay want zombie Charity to dance with Miguel if she's trying to break them up?

Tabitha: She is. I told you, it must all be part of Kay's plan. She and zombie Blondie are trying to set Miguel up for something.

Timmy: For what?

Tabitha: Shh. I'm thinking. I'm trying to get inside our friend Kay's head.

Timmy: Well?

Tabitha: Nothing. All I get is static. Have to try again later. But I tell you, she's up to something. Our Kay is as clever as they come.

Charity: I've wasted enough time dancing with you, so --

Miguel: Charity, why are you acting like this?

Charity: Huh. I was set up. And I know exactly who's responsible for my getting stuck with you.

Miguel: Stuck?

Charity: She's not getting away with it.

Miguel: Charity, where are you going?

Tabitha: This is it, Timmy. Something big's about to happen.

Kay: Charity, hi.

T.C.: So, any objections to John taking a DNA test?

David: No, not at all.

T.C.: He's bluffing.

David: You're welcome to have John take the DNA test.

Sam: Grace, are you sure about this?

Grace: You know what? We need to erase any doubt once and for all.

David: You're right, Grace. It's best to end this nightmare now before you're hurt more in the end.

Eve: Then I'll make arrangements for John to take the test.

T.C.: And we'll prove if he's David and Grace's son. And if he isn't, I was right. David is working for Ivy.

Rebecca: I did it. Ivy is done for.

Charity: Next time, mind your own business.

Miguel: Kay, you alright?

Kay: Yeah. My jaw kind of hurts, but I don't think anything's broken.

Reese: What the hell's going on here?

Charity: I hope you learned your lesson.

Miguel: Charity, what's wrong with you?

Kay: Ow.

Miguel: Somebody get some ice.

Reese: I will.

Jessica: Are you sure that nothing's broken?

Simone: How could Charity do such a thing?

Jessica: I don't know. This is so totally unlike Charity.

Timmy: Timmy doesn't think that was part of Kay's plan.

Tabitha: Oh, yes, Timmy. I think that was exactly Kay's plan. Remember, that wasn't the real Charity that just whacked Kay. That was the zombie Charity that Kay created using the spell book, the zombie that does whatever Kay wants her to do.

Timmy: But why would Kay want zombie Charity to punch her?

Tabitha: Just watch, lad. Let's see how Kay uses this to her advantage. She's something, that one. Even wilier than I thought. [Chuckles]

Eve: Then I'll make arrangements for John to take the DNA test, if you're certain that that's what you want, Grace.

Grace: Yeah, it is. And I'm sorry. It's not that I don't trust you.

David: Oh, no need to apologize. I understand.

T.C.: Something's not right here. David's running some kind of game.

Eve: What do you mean? He just agreed to take the test.

T.C.: Sweetheart, I don't care. I got this gut feeling that Ivy was behind bringing John and David here to break up Sam and Grace.

Eve: T.C., please. I know you hate the Cranes, honey, and I understand why, after what Julian did to you all those years ago.

T.C.: He destroyed all my chances at a tennis career.

Eve: But to speculate that it's all some kind of Crane plot?

T.C.: Hell, this wouldn't be the first time that Ivy has pulled a trick. Hell, she had Grace drugged at the ski resort. Knocked her out so she could seduce Sam.

Sam: I don't care what Ivy has done in the past or what T.C. thinks she's up to now. She can't hurt our marriage.

Grace: You know, it's just… to think that Ivy has done all this -- I mean, how could somebody go to such great lengths, especially when they're in pain?

Eve: Terrible pain.

T.C.: She's a Crane. They'll go through any lengths to get what they want, suffer any pain to get to the top. Don't care how many lives they destroy. Sam, you know what I'm talking about.

Grace: Look, Sam, I know that you have issues with the Cranes, but to believe that Ivy is behind all of this… I just -- I can't believe it.

Sam: Well, I don't want to believe it. But one thing I'm going to make sure of is that you are protected. If there are people out there who are trying to hurt you, there'll be hell to pay.

Ivy: You bitch. I know you're behind this, Rebecca.

Rebecca: Oh. Behind what? Oh, you mean helping to expose your little plot to tear up Sam and Grace?

Ivy: I'm not going to let you get away with this.

Rebecca: Oh, I'm afraid there's nothing you can do to stop it. You see, it's already done. And very soon everybody's going to know what a lying, scheming, and manipulative --

Ivy: Oh, you have always been jealous of me, ever since boarding school.

Rebecca: Oh, get over it, Ivy. You have lost.

Ivy: Don't underestimate me, Rebecca. I haven't even begun to fight.

Theresa: How could Ethan go back to Gwen so quickly? You know, get over me so fast?

Whitney: Honey, you don't know that for sure.

Theresa: You saw them dancing together just now, Whitney -- the way they were looking at each other.

Whitney: By, they've been friends for a lot of years.

Theresa: No. Ethan is the love of Gwen's life. Ok? She's crazy about him.

Whitney: But that does not mean that he's any more than a friend to her. You know, that's probably what it is. He's just here with her as friend.

Theresa: Hey -- something's happened with my brother and Kay.

Miguel: Feeling better?

Kay: Yeah. A little.

Reese: Here you go, Kay.

Miguel: This should really help.

Reese: I'll do it. Kay's supposed to be my girl.

Kay: Reese, just let Miguel, ok? He's closer. It'll be easier.

Reese: Oh. Right.

Miguel: Tell me where it hurts.

Kay: Right here.

Ethan: Hey, Miguel, is everything ok?

Miguel: Yeah. I think we've got it under control, thanks.

Theresa: Hey, Jess, what happened?

Jessica: I know this is going to sound crazy, but Charity just up and punched Kay, knocked her down.

Theresa: What?

Whitney: Wait. Charity?

Theresa: No, I don't believe it. I've ever even seen her lose her temper.

Jessica: Me, either.

Ethan: Excuse me.

Theresa: Oh, I'm sorry.

Eve: Well, I just called my office, told them to call the first thing in the morning and schedule the test as soon as there's an opening.

Grace: I guess you're right, T.C. The sooner we get this over with, the better.

Sam: Grace you don't have to do this. We can tell Eve to cancel the test.

Grace: Oh, but, Sam…

Sam: I don’t care if we ever find out the truth about John. And even if Ivy is behind this, it's not going to come between us.

Grace: I know that. It's just --

Sam: Grace, listen, I've seen how happy you've become since John's come into your life and I don't want to take that away from you.

Grace: And I can't tell you how much that means to me, but I am ok with this. Really. I know that John’s my son, and the DNA test is going to prove it.

Sam: But it doesn't matter.

Grace: Look, Sam, you say that now, but I know you need the truth.

Sam: No, I don't.

Grace: I am not blaming you. T.C. brought up some very valid doubts. If we don't deal with them, it's going to eat away at our lives, and I am not going to let that happen.

Sam: Ok.

Grace: You know, I didn't mean to just blindly accept John into our lives. But he came so suddenly and I was so happy to have a son after losing our baby.

Sam: I know.

Grace: And you have been wonderful. I mean, you stood by me. You didn't ask any questions. I know you wanted to. Even before T.C. came up with this thing about Ivy, you wanted to investigate John, just like you investigated David when he came to own. I mean, I'm right, aren't I? If you thought it wouldn’t have hurt me, you would've had John take a DNA test from the very start.

Sam: You know me too well Mrs. Grace Bennett. But the husband won out over the cop. Hey, I just want you to be happy.

Grace: And I love you for that. But you made that sacrifice. So let me make this sacrifice for you -- for us.

[Phone rings]

Eve: That must be Ivy. Hello? Yes, I'll be right up. Probably needs something to help her sleep.

T.C.: I wouldn't doubt it, with her conscience.

Eve: Honey, I am no fan of Ivy's, but she's in some very real, very serious pain right now, and I don't see how she can manage to come up with such an involved plot to break up Sam and Grace in the condition that she's in.

T.C.: Sweetheart, pain or no pain, I wouldn't put anything past her.

Eve: Ok, well, I'll be right back.

Rebecca: Hmm. What is Ivy up to now? What could she possibly want with Eve?

[Music plays]

Theresa: Ethan.

Gwen: Ethan, the dance floor

Ethan: Wait. Theresa, I -- I didn't see you.

Chad: Hey, what's going on over here?

Whitney: Charity hit Kay.

Chad: Charity hit Kay?

Ethan: Yeah, but it's over. Miguel is handling everything.

Chad: Oh, good. I hope so because we can't be having trouble up in here.

Kelly: Hey, is everything ok? It's kind of tense around here.

Chad: Yeah, it's ok. Everything's under control.

Kelly: Well, I'm not sure. So why don't we start dancing? You know, get this party back into a party mood.

Chad: Yeah. - Yeah, that's a good idea, Kelly. Don't want this party to end up a bust.

Kelly: Yeah. Ok, let's go.

Gwen: Ethan?

Miguel: How's the ice working?

Kay: It's ok.

Miguel: I don't get why Charity hit you. Why'd she freak out like that? What happened?

Kay: I have no idea.

Simone: I know why.

Tabitha: Uh-oh. Simone is Kay's best buddy. She knows how hard Kay's tried to break up Charity and Miguel in the past. Maybe she thinks Kay is up to something again.

Timmy: Timmy hates all this.

Simone: I know exactly why Charity hit her, and you do, too, Kay.

Kay: What?

Simone: Admit it, Kay. You know very well why Charity is angry with you, why she would come after you like that.

Grace: I'm not going to let this test worry me. John's my son, and I'm going to hold onto that no matter what. God wouldn't take another child away from me. It would just be too cruel.

Sam: Hey, let's get out of here and get some fresh air.

Grace: Now, that's a good idea.

Sam: T.C., We'll be back.

T.C.: Those two were meant for each other. Their marriage is as strong as mine. Nothing could ever come between me and Eve. No one could ever pull anything that would destroy our marriage. Not even someone as evil as Ivy Crane.

Eve: Is your pain worse?

Ivy: Close the door.

Rebecca: There's got to be a better way to listen in so I can hear what's going on in there. I'm going to find it.

Eve: Ivy, I'm going to be going home soon, but I want to make sure that you're going to be able to sleep through the night. Those should help.

Ivy: I don't want to sleep, Eve. I need my mind sharp. I need to think clearly.

Eve: Ivy.

Ivy: I know what's going on, Eve. I know about the DNA test to prove whether or not John is Grace's son.

Eve: Oh, my God. It's true. David is a fraud. He works for you. You're still trying to break up Sam and Grace's marriage.

[Music Plays]

Theresa: Look.

Whitney: Hey.

Theresa: I know that you're hurting, but there's still hope for you two, ok? I know that Chad loves you.

Whitney: Yeah, well, maybe once he did.

Theresa: And he still does, Whitney. The only reason he's hanging out with Kelly is because you kept pushing him away.

Whitney: I'm ok. It doesn't even matter.

Theresa: It does. You still have a chance at happiness with Chad. I'm the one who lost out on love. Ethan and I are finished forever. He doesn't want to talk to me, doesn't -- he doesn't want to look at me. It's hard for me to see Ethan with Gwen. And how can he move on so easily?

Whitney: Oh, honey, it's all right.

Theresa: I'm going to go to the ladies' room. I don't want anyone to see me like this, ok?

Chad: Hey. Is everything ok?

Timmy: Oh. Hi.

Charity: Hi. So, I saw you out on the dance floor. I like the way you move. How about you and I boogie down?

Timmy: Uh -- thanks, anyways. Timmy is tired.

Charity: I'm on to you doll face.

Timmy: Timmy doesn't - understand --

Charity: I know more than you think. Much more. Pretty soon, you'll be dancing to my tune. And so will your little princess. I'm the one in control!

Simone: I know why Charity slugged Kay. And you do, too, Kay.

Miguel: You do?

Kay: I don't know. I'm not sure. I thought we were getting along.

Simone: Come on, Kay. You know why Charity is angry with you, don't you? Tell Miguel the truth. You know what you've done. You may not want people to know, but I'm not going to cover things up for you.

Miguel: Whoa. Cover up what, Simone?

Tabitha: Bloody hell. Simone's going to ruin things for Kay.

Simone: Kay did something that upset Charity, and it involved you, Miguel.

Kay: Simone, please --

Simone: No, Kay. Look, I'm not going to keep quiet about this. Besides, I think that Miguel deserves to know the truth. He should know the kind of person you are.

Tabitha: Ooh. Looks like the whole darn thing has backfired.

T.C.: I knew that you were bogus from day one.

David: Really?

T.C.: Claiming to be Grace's long-lost husband. A man who comes out of her past that she can't even remember. I knew it was a set up, and it turns out that Ivy was the one that was doing the setting up. She bought you, used you to break up two people that I care about. And it would be easy with Grace's amnesia. You could tell her everything, and she wouldn't even know if it was true or not. So you fed her all these memories, messed with her mind. You even made her believe that you two had a child together. Now, what kind of man would do something like that?

David: I don't --

T.C.: Save it! Because I don't want to hear any more. Because the only thing that comes out of your mouth is lies.

Eve: It's true. David works for you. He's part of your plan to break up Sam and Grace's marriage.

Ivy: Oh, don't be stupid, Eve. Of course David works for me! You of all people should know how much I want Sam back. Need I remind you of all the times you've helped me in the past?

Eve: Not willingly. You blackmailed me, Ivy. You blackmailed me into trying to help you break up my best friend's marriage.

Ivy: Well, does it really matter why you helped me, Eve? I think not. The point is you did and you're going to do it again.

Eve: What?

Ivy: Oh, don't look so shocked. You know what I want.

Eve: Oh, no. No.

Ivy: Oh, yes. You are going to fix that DNA test, Dr. Russell. You are going to change the results to show that, indeed, John is David and Grace's son.

Eve: The hell I will.

Chad: Theresa seemed pretty upset.

Whitney: Yeah. She's lost Ethan. She feels like her life is over. She really does love him.

Chad: Yeah.

Whitney: But she knows that she can't be with him, so –

Chad: Well, I know what that's like.

Theresa: Please, take what I'm saying to heart. When you find love, you've got to hang onto it. Don't let it go. If you do, you'll regret it the rest of your life.

Whitney: Chad, there is something that I do want to talk to you about.

Simone: You deserve to know the truth, Miguel.

Miguel: I'm listening.

Simone: Kay is a true friend, Miguel.

Miguel: Oh. Well, I knew that.

Simone: She wanted so badly to do something nice for you and Charity -- Chad told me all about it.

Miguel: What'd she do?

Simone: Kay is the one that - asked Chad to do the couple-switch dance so that you and Charity could dance together. She was trying to set it up so that you and Charity could be alone, seeing that you guys were going through so many problems.

Miguel: Kay told me that she arranged for Charity and me to dance. And I think it's really cool that she wanted to help us.

Simone: Yeah, well, Charity didn't feel that way because after she hit Kay, she told her to mind her own business.

Miguel: She did?

Simone: She was furious with Kay. She was furious at her for interfering.

Miguel: You try to help me out, and look at what happens.

Simone: Kay didn't want to rat on Charity and tell you why she hit her, but I just thought that you deserve to know the whole story, Miguel. Kay has her faults. Trust me, I know. But I can't blame Kay for this one. This was all Charity's fault.

Miguel: You didn't want to get Charity in trouble.

Kay: What would be the point?

Miguel: That's really cool of you, Kay. But Simone's right. Charity had no right to hurt you. No right at all.

Tabitha: Things are working out even better than I'd hoped. Miguel is getting to see a whole other side of his sweet Charity, thanks to Kay.

Timmy: Princess --

Tabitha: Not now, Timmy.

Timmy: But I have to warn you --

Tabitha: I'm watching Kay.

Timmy: But this is important.

Tabitha: Nothing is as important as this, Timmy.

Timmy: Timmy doesn't think so.

Sam: You ok?

Grace: Yeah, this was good idea. I'm feeling better already.

Sam: You've been hit with a lot tonight.

Grace: Yeah, I don't know if I'm really going to assimilate all this. I mean, the idea that Ivy brought David in to pretend he's my husband and then brought John in to pretend that he's my son just to destroy our marriage?

Sam: Nothing on earth can do that.

Grace: Yeah. You know, and it's just so far-fetched that I can't believe it.

Sam: So you think David's legit and John's your son?

Grace: Well, everything that David's told us so far has proven true.

Sam: Unless everything has been falsified -- part of Ivy's plan, like T.C. thinks.

Grace: If this is all some big plan of Ivy's, it's -- it's not going to work. She can't tear us apart because I love you and I know that you love me.

Sam: More now than the day I married you. And I didn't think that was possible. I loved you with all my heart then.

Grace: I feel the same way.

Sam: Look, I don't know what the DNA tests will show, but it doesn't matter. It can't hurt us.

Grace: No, it can't.

Sam: Nothing can tear apart what we have.

Eve: There is no way that I am going to help you with this, Ivy.

Ivy: Oh, I think there is a way.

Eve: I'm not going to change John's DNA results.

Ivy: You've changed hospital records before, Eve, when I was trying to keep Ethan's paternity a secret.

Eve: You forced me to do it, and I felt horrible about it.

Ivy: Well, great. Now here's something new to feel horrible about.

Eve: No.

Ivy: Those DNA tests have got to be altered. Everyone has to believe that John is Grace's son.

Eve: I won't do it, Ivy. I'm not going to do anything to hurt Sam and Grace.

Ivy: Well, how noble of you, Eve. Unfortunately, you have no choice.

Eve: You can't force me.

Ivy: Oh. Need I remind you of what I can do to you if you refuse? I will tell T.C. all about your sordid affair with Julian, about the baby you had with Julian -- the baby that died, most likely because of your drug use.

Eve: You are so hateful.

Ivy: Oh. Your image, your name, will be dragged through the mud, Dr. Russell! Your husband, your daughters, this entire town will see you for the slut that you really are. You are going to do exactly what I tell you to do, Eve. You are going to change those DNA test results, or I will ruin your life!

[Music Plays]

Chad: Whitney, what is it? What do you want to tell me?

Whitney: I've been thinking about what you were telling me before --

Kelly: Chad?

Chad: What?

Kelly: Chad -- you're needed at the DJ booth. The song's about to end.

Chad: It can wait.

Whitney: No, no, Chad. It's all good. You're working.

Chad: Maybe we can talk later?

Kelly: Not so fast. You and I are going to have a little chat -- now.

Gwen: I know that must've been pretty hard for you -- having to see Theresa like that.

Ethan: Yeah, yeah, it still hurts.

Gwen: I wish there was something else I could do for you.

Ethan: No, look, Gwen, I mean, you're there for me. You always have been. I'm just grateful to you as a friend.

Simone: What Charity did was wrong, and I don't think she should get away with it.

Reese: She had no right hurting my sweet Kay.

Kay: Oh, guys, it's ok. Please don't make a big deal out of this.

Simone: But it is a big deal, Kay.

Kay: No, Simone, really it's not. She lost her temper. We all do that.

Reese: Well, we don't all go around socking people in the face.

Jessica: And I think that we should have Mom and Dad talk to her about it.

Kay: No, Jessica --

Jessica: What? It's only the right thing to do.

Kay: No, guys, please don't tell. I mean, it would kill Mom and Dad -- especially Mom. You know it would break her heart if she found out how much Charity changed.

Reese: What if Charity goes after somebody else?

Kay: She won't. Guys, this isn't like her. I mean, she's sweet.

Simone: She used to be sweet.

Kay: You know, maybe it's just her premonitions. Miguel, you're the one who originally suggested that she was pushing everybody away because of them.

Reese: Well, whatever it is, it needs to stop.

Kay: Well, honestly, I don't think punishing her is going to make a difference. Guys, come on, please. Please don't say anything.

Miguel: You care more about Charity than you do about yourself. You're a really good person, Kay.

Tabitha: Timmy, will you look at that? Kay's made herself look like the heroine and Charity look like the villain. She's just taken first major step in changing Miguel's feelings for Charity. She's on her way to breaking up that duo for good.

Timmy: Princess has to listen to Timmy.

Tabitha: What?

Timmy: Something really weird just happened.

Tabitha: This is news?

Timmy: No. Something really weird. Zombie Charity just told Timmy that she's in control.

Tabitha: In control?

Timmy: And when she's finished, Timmy and Tabby will be dancing to her tune.

Tabitha: Oh, dear. I don't like the sound of this at all. No, not at all.

Timmy: Timmy doesn't like it, either.

Tabitha: Dear, I think it's time for us to hotfoot it out of here. Come on, lad.

Charity: You two can run but you can't hide.

T.C.: I don't expect for you to tell us the truth, not after you lied to us from day one. You manipulated people, you twisted --

David: Look, I can understand that you'd be angry, that you don't trust me.

T.C.: Really?

David: I just want you to know one thing. I will do everything I can, everything possible, to keep Grace from being harmed. She's a caring, selfless -- a truly good-hearted person. I am tired of all the games, all the questions. I just want Grace to be happy. She's what's most important.

T.C.: David, could I have gotten you all wrong? I know this all started out as a job for you, working for Ivy to break up Sam and Grace. But you got caught up in your own story, didn't you?

David: What do you mean?

T.C.: You're falling in love with her. Yeah, that's it. You're in love with Grace.

Rebecca: Oh. This gets more interesting by the minute.

Sam: It's a great feeling, isn't it, Grace, knowing that nothing can come between us?

Grace: It's the most wonderful feeling in the world.

Sam: Look at everything we've been through. My God.

Grace: We've certainly had our share of trouble.

Sam: Our home being overtaken by evil, our house being sucked into hell. I thought we had lost everything.

Grace: But we hadn't. As long as we had each other, we couldn't.

Sam: Mm-hmm. And we are right back on track. Our home is rebuilt, and our lives. The worst is behind us. Everything is going to be fine from here on out.

[Grace gasps]

Sam: Hey. Honey, are you all right?

Grace: I just had the strangest feeling wash over me.

Sam: What is it?

Grace: Oh, it -- it's a premonition that everything isn't behind us, that the worst isn't over. There's something terrible out there that can hurt us.

Ivy: So it's agreed -- you'll do as I say.

Eve: No. Not this time. Not ever again.

Ivy: Oh. Don't test me, Eve. I am not one to make idle threats. I will ruin you.

Eve: Do whatever you want to, Ivy. Tell T.C. about my past with Julian, and make sure you don't leave anything out.

Ivy: What kind of a ridiculous bluff is this?

Eve: It's not a bluff. I don't care anymore.

Ivy: The hell you don't.

Eve: Julian's disappeared, Ivy. He's probably dead. So if T.C. finds out the truth about my past, I don't have to worry about him going after Julian because Julian's gone.

Ivy: There's still your marriage.

Eve: My husband and I love each other. He's been honest with me about his past. Maybe it was time I was honest with him about mine.

Ivy: Oh, you can't be serious.

Eve: Our love can withstand this. I know it can. Our marriage is strong. I think we can get through anything.

Ivy: Oh, dream on, Eve. The minute T.C. learns about you and Julian and the baby, he'll be out the door in a flash.

Eve: God, I am tired of this! I am so tired of you holding my past above my head and using it to make me do things that make me hate myself! Just do whatever you want, Ivy. But just be careful because this could backfire on you.

Ivy: How?

Eve: Ethan will hear about it. He'll find out that you've been blackmailing me. He'll find out the lengths that his mother would go to destroy someone's life. And he will see you for the person that you are -- an evil, selfish, conniving bitch. And he'll have nothing more to do with you. So, you see, Ivy, you have as much to lose as you think I do.
