Sam: You want me to call the maid and have them help you get ready for bed before I leave?
Ivy: I -- I thought you were going to question me about Julian's disappearance.
Sam: We'll do it another time.
Sam: Ivy, you were in pain downstairs. I had no idea.
Ivy: No, I'm -- no, I'm fine. I just -- I mistimed my pain medication, that's all. In fact, you could help me out with that.
Ivy: You could get the pills that are in the bathroom for me?
Sam: Ivy, you just took some pain pills.
Ivy: These are different. These are other pills. No, they're in the cabinet, on the bottom? [Groans]
Sam: These are the ones?
Sam: There you go.
Ivy: Ah, thank you.
Sam: Says here that you shouldn't take any more of these for six hours.
Ivy: Oh, no. These are so potent, I won't need any more.
Sam: Ok. I'll check back with you later, and then we'll talk about Julian.
Ivy: Sam -- wait a minute. There is something else we should talk about -- Ethan. You know, I'm really worried about him. I think his future's at stake.
Gwen: This is delicious.
Ethan: Best cheeseburger on the East Coast. You know, the first time I came here was with Sheridan.
Gwen: You're kidding? Sheridan?
Ethan: Yeah, she would get this craving in the middle of the night. She'd come over here, order one with the works -- bacon, cheese, mushrooms, onion. I really miss her.
Gwen: I know. We all do.
Ethan: You know, it's just sometimes I -- I just don't believe she's gone.
Woman: Haven't seen you in a while, Ethan.
Ethan: Oh, hey, Karen.
Karen: Where's Theresa?
Ethan: Um -- we're not really seeing each other anymore right now.
Karen: Oh. Sorry. See you.
Gwen: You know --
Ethan: No -- Gwen, it's ok. I'm having a world-class cheeseburger with a good friend. You know, everything is -- everything's all right.
Gwen: I really admire your strength, Ethan.
Woman: Who's there?
Theresa: Theresa. Is that you, Penny?
Theresa: Why is it so dark in here?
Penny: I don't think the lights are working
Theresa: I'm looking for my brother, Luis, and someone said they saw him heading here to the pool. Have you seen him?
Penny: No. But I heard somebody in the pool. At least I thought I did. But when I came in to check, there was nobody swimming. There was just this robe and towel on the chair.
Theresa: I thought you said that there was nobody here.
Penny: I didn't think there was.
Theresa: Oh, those lights are really strange. What's going on?
Brian: Diana! Diana!
Liz: This is downright weird.
Doc: The power of the Bermuda Triangle is almost unimaginable. It's obviously affected Diana.
Liz: Yeah, made her crazy -- swimming out to sea?
Doc: Maybe she's trying to reach her dead lover.
Liz: How, by killing herself?
Doc: Thinking she'll meet up with him in the world beyond.
Brian: There's no way I'm going to let her die.
Liz: Brian! Come back, Brian!
Doc: Don't do it, Liz.
Liz: But he's about to go out to sea --
Doc: First of all, Brian's a strong swimmer. Second, it'll be just about impossible find Diana --
Liz: Well, maybe --
Doc: Much less get her back to shore.
Liz: Maybe I can help him.
Doc: Are you sure you want to?
Doc: If Diana weren't to come back, then you and Brian might have a chance at being together.
Liz: Doc, that's terrible. I can't believe you would say that. I am going to help him!
Doc: I'm just looking out for your interests, Liz.
Liz: You know, I think the Triangle has fried your brain. I'm going after him.
Doc: The Triangle's powers are unfathomable tonight. Dimensions, time -- there'll be no barriers. Anything can happen. All levels of consciousness and creation -- even the underworld -- they'll all have access to one another.
Sheridan: Thank God I finally found you.
Luis: I can't believe it's you.
Sheridan: I've missed you so much.
Luis: Me, too. But I was just swimming in your family's pool, and now I'm here!
Sheridan: Yes. Yes.
Luis: Where's here?
Sheridan: Who cares? All that matters is that we're finally together again.
Theresa: I didn't imagine it, did I, Penny? There was a splash down there. Somebody dove in.
Penny: I heard it, too, Theresa. I just wish the lights were working. There must be a fuse blown or something. Listen, I'll go call Maintenance and see if I can get them to fix it.
Theresa: Ok. I've never seen anything like this. This is Luis's wallet. Well, then he was here. Where did he go? Luis! He wouldn't just go off and leave his wallet. What if he hurt himself, he fell in the pool, and I just can't see him? Oh, my -- Luis! Are you ok? Luis! Oh, where did he go?
Luis: You're actually in my arms. It's really you.
Sheridan: It feels so good to have you hold me, your body next to mine.
Luis: God, how I missed you. Where have you been?
Sheridan: I'm finally where I belong -- with you, my love.
Brian: Liz, what are you doing out here? The last thing I need is to worry about getting two people back to shore.
Liz: Listen, I swim every bit as well as you do. And Diana's my friend, too.
Brian: Look, look, look. Wait a minute -- there. Isn't that --?
Brian: Is that someone with her?
Liz: Looks like a guy, but I can't make out his face.
Brian: If he's hurting her, I swear -- Diana. Diana? Diana!
Sheridan: He's here.
Sheridan: He's coming for me.
Luis: Who is?
Brian: Diana! Diana!
Luis: Someone's calling my name.
Sheridan: I don't hear anything.
Theresa: Luis! Come on, someone get the lights back on. Luis! Are you there? Luis! Luis!
Brian: Diana! Diana!
Doc: So much is happening. The power of the Triangle is intense. Who knows what could happen? Maybe Diana's found her lost lover. But if she has, it might mean the Triangle could take them both. They might end up dead and together.
Sam: Why are you worried about Ethan? Because of his breakup with Theresa?
Ivy: No. I am thrilled that he finally dumped Theresa. I just know he must be terribly upset.
Sam: You are wrong about Theresa. She's not the person you're making her out to be.
Ivy: Sam, she is pregnant with Julian's baby. She lied to Ethan over and over --
Sam: Julian took advantage of her.
Ivy: I don't want to argue with you about Theresa. I just want you to know that I am very happy that Ethan has the full support of his father.
Sam: Of course he does. Anytime Ethan needs me, all he has to do is call. He knows that.
Ivy: Well, it's a relief to know that you're there for him.
Sam: 100%. And so is Grace.
Ivy: Yes, Grace. Well, I know that with your support and Grace's of course, Ethan will get through this trying time.
Sam: Ethan is my son, and I'll do anything I can for him.
Ivy: You're such a wonderful father, Sam. Not like Julian. Julian was pathetic. He never knew how to treat his son. He didn't know how to be there for him.
Sam: I just want Ethan to know that I love him very much.
Ivy: When I hear you say that, I could cry. You'll be happy to know I won't. It's just Ethan -- you know, Ethan means the world to me. I would kill for Ethan. I think if anyone really hurt him, I would kill them.
Ethan: You were such a devil in college. I don't know how you ever graduated.
Gwen: I worked hard -- when I had to.
Ethan: I don't think I ever saw you crack a book, Gwen.
Gwen: No, that wasn't me. That was Buffy. She partied for, like, four years straight. I don't think I ever saw her in class.
Ethan: And yet she was a Phi Beta Kappa.
Gwen: Yeah, I know. I can't help but think that her father paid for that with endowments.
[Ethan and Gwen laugh]
Gwen: Thank you.
Ethan: Do you remember when she climbed up into the dean's balcony?
Gwen: Oh, yeah.
Ethan: And then she didn't even know he was there?
Gwen: Yeah, and no one thought he would be working late that night, so when she was about to open the window, he swiveled around, and they were face to face.
Ethan: I don't know who screamed louder.
Ethan: Hello? Oh, yes? Oh. Right. I'll take care of it right away. Thanks.
Gwen: Is there something wrong?
Ethan: Oh, that was Sheridan's attorney handling her estate. It was her wish to auction off her wardrobe to charity, and it's my job to organize everything, sort out the wardrobe, stuff like that.
Gwen: Wow. Sounds like a big job.
Ethan: Yeah. I've just been putting it off. I just didn't want to deal with it. It's like every time I get a chance to relax, try to forget -- you know what? I'm not going to feel sorry for myself. This was Sheridan's wish. I'm going to honor that.
Gwen: You know, Ethan, I can come with you. I can help you sort out some of the stuff.
Ethan: Oh, Gwen, you don't have to do that. That's --
Gwen: She was my closest friend.
Ethan: Yeah. We both loved her very much. One more thing we have in common.
Brian: Diana, I'm coming!
Sheridan: They're coming.
Sheridan: No. I don't want to leave you. I don't want to go back.
Luis: You don't have to leave me. We're together now, all right? We're going to be together forever.
Luis: Who's calling me?
Sheridan: It's no one.
Luis: Can't you hear them?
Sheridan: No, please don't leave me.
Theresa: Why haven't the lights come on? If it's only a blown fuse, Maintenance should've fixed it by now. Luis. Luis! [Splash] There he is -- at least I thought. Luis? Luis!
Hank: What's all the yelling? Theresa, was that you shouting? What's going on? Why is it so dark in here?
Theresa: The maid thinks it's a blown fuse, Hank. She went to talk to Maintenance.
Hank: It sounded like you were calling for Luis.
Theresa: I was. I thought I saw him just -- just a moment ago when those lights got brighter. I guess I was wrong. I've called to him several times, but he hasn't answered.
Hank: Pilar called me. She said that he's still upset about Sheridan's death, and she wanted me to come down and talk to him.
Theresa: Well, I found his wallet and a towel.
Hank: Well, then, he can't be far.
Theresa: I'm really worried about him, Hank. I mean, he was upset earlier.
Hank: About Sheridan?
Theresa: Yeah, I mean, he loved her so much and she was taken away from him so suddenly. You know, I have prayed for a miracle every night, wishing that somehow Sheridan would come back to him.
Hank: I wish we could have a miracle, Theresa. I just don't see how it's possible.
Theresa: God. I was so sure that I saw Luis.
Hank: Listen, I'm going to go check on the fuse myself.
Theresa: No. No, this can't be.
Hank: What? What'd you see, Theresa? What's wrong?
Brian: Diana, I've got you. It's ok.
Sheridan: Oh, leave me alone! Let me go!
Theresa: I saw Luis in the pool, and he was holding Sheridan.
Luis: No. What's happening?
Hank: I don't know what's going on, but we got to get him out of there.
Hank: Come on, buddy. We got to get you out.
Luis: Hank --
Hank: Come on.
Luis: Stop it! Let go!
Brian: I'm getting you back to shore, Diana.
Hank: Come on, Luis. We got to get you out of here.
Luis: Hank, let go!
Hank: Come on, buddy.
Luis: Hank --
Hank: Come on. I'm worried about you. Come on! I can feel him, but I can't see him!
Luis: We're being pulled apart!
Sheridan: Don't let me go! Please, don't let me go!
Sam: You'd kill for Ethan? What are you saying, Ivy?
Ivy: Nothing. Sam, no, it's just an expression, you know?
Sam: You ok?
Ivy: Yeah. Don't -- don't worry about me.
Sam: Look, I don't want to get into interviewing you about Julian's possible murder right now. I know you're in pain. But as a cop, I can't ignore what you just said.
Ivy: Sam, for pity's sake --
Sam: Now, do you know something about Julian's disappearance? Were you thinking about him when you said you'd kill for Ethan?
Hank: Don't fight me, Luis. Come on.
Luis: Let me go, Hank!
Brian: It's all right.
Sheridan: Let me go!
Hank: Come on, Luis. Come on.
Luis: Where'd you go?
Sheridan: Don't leave me!
Hank: Come on, Luis.
Luis: What's going on?
Sheridan: No, don't leave me! Please don't leave me! No!
Hank: Come on, Luis!
Luis: Hank, let go of me!
Liz: Brian, what's wrong?
Brian: I don't know. It's like she was holding on to someone and didn't want to let go. It's strange. Maybe it was the weird light, but it seemed like Diana disappeared a couple of times -- more than a couple of times.
Liz: What do you mean, disappeared? Like underwater?
Brian: I had hold of her arm, but I couldn't see her anymore.
Brian: Diana, come on. I've got hold of you. I'll take you in to shore. Can you swim? Come on, I'll take you. Come on.
Sheridan: It doesn't matter.
Liz: Is it possible Doc was right? Are there strange forces operating tonight?
Theresa: Here. Sit down. Are you ok, Luis?
Luis: I had her in my arms. Did you see?
Theresa: See who?
Luis: Sheridan -- I had her and I lost her. I lost her all over again. Sheridan was in my arms. But it was strange. It wasn't here.
Theresa: What do you mean, not here?
Luis: The water was warm. There were waves.
Hank: The maid must've gotten hold of those maintenance guys.
Luis: You guys, I was with Sheridan. She was in my arms. I held her. I -- what, is there something that you're not telling me?
Theresa: Luis -- earlier, when the lights were flickering, I thought just for a moment that -- that I saw you in the pool with Sheridan.
Luis: Yes! Yeah, I was in the pool with Sheridan, both here and there.
Hank: Look now, buddy. She's not there. Nobody is.
Luis: Right. I'm losing my mind.
Hank: Actually, no.
Luis: There's something else you're not telling me?
Hank: When I was pulling you over to the side of the pool, something happened that I can't explain. I had a good grip on you, but then you -- you disappeared. But I could still feel you. It was still like I was holding you.
Luis: Yes. I was both here and there. There was -- the water -- salt water! It was the ocean!
Hank: Listen, buddy --
Luis: It was the ocean.
Hank: This is getting beyond weird now. You're talking about traveling across space. And since that can't happen, we got to think of a logical explanation for all this.
Luis: Yeah, tell me.
Hank: Well -- well, the lights, the reflection off the water. Maybe it blinded me for a couple seconds to you, you know?
Theresa: Hank, what about what I saw, ok? Luis and -- and Sheridan in the water together.
Hank: Yeah, but right before you saw them, you said that you prayed for a miracle, prayed that Sheridan would return to Luis.
Theresa: Are you saying it was all in my mind, wishful thinking?
Hank: I'm just saying that maybe your mind was playing tricks on you. You know, you just wanted them to be together so much that --
Theresa: That I imagined them together.
Luis: No, I was with Sheridan. I didn't imagine it.
Theresa: I know how terribly you miss her. But she can't come back, Luis. She's gone.
Luis: I know. But then why do I keep having these visions? And why did you see me with her?
Hank: Look, I'm no shrink, but -- but maybe it's because Theresa wanted to be with the person she loves, too. Losing Ethan hurt you badly, Theresa. Maybe seeing your brother with the woman he loves was the way that your subconscious was dealing with your own pain.
Theresa: It's possible, I suppose.
Hank: I'm sorry to bring up something so painful, but I just want us to look at this in a logical way.
Theresa: Well, I think Luis needs to rest. He needs to get out of here.
Hank: Yeah. Come on, buddy. Let's go.
Luis: Where are you, Sheridan? Where are you?
Man: I thought you said the lights weren't working in here.
Maid: They weren't.
Man: Well, they sure as heck are now. Guess there's no point in me checking that fuse. Must be fine.
Brian: Come on, you're back to shore now. Just sit down.
Sheridan: He's gone.
Doc: What happened?
Brian: I don't know. I was trying to pull her in, and she kept fighting me. It was like she was trying to hold on to somebody or something.
Doc: I knew it. The Bermuda Triangle -- it was the Triangle.
Brian: Doc, why don't you give it a rest, ok?
Doc: I'll bet Diana made contact with her dead lover on the other side.
Brian: Diana, come on. Let's take you inside and get you dry and warm. Come on.
Doc: If only John Edward were here.
Ivy: No, Sam, I wasn't thinking of Julian when I said I would kill for Ethan. I was just trying to emphasize how much I love my son. I honestly don't know how I would've survived all of these years without him. He -- he's brought so much joy into my life.
Sam: Well, whenever you talk about Ethan, you light up like a Christmas tree.
Ivy: Do I?
Sam: It's the only time that you look totally open and honest, like the Ivy I used to know years ago. The wheels aren't turning. There's no schemes to be plotted.
Ivy: Sam, I understand why you're still suspicious of me. I went through a time when I did some terrible things to get you back. But that was then. I've changed. I know that you love Grace and you're happy with her, and I accept that.
Sam: I'm glad to hear that, Ivy.
Ivy: I just want what's best for Ethan now. I just -- I want him to have a close relationship with you.
Sam: That's going to be no problem because I will always stay close to Ethan. I want him to feel that he is part of my family, and so does Grace.
Ivy: I want him to be close to you and to Grace.
Sam: He is my son, and I want what is best for him, too.
Ethan: We should probably get started.
Gwen: How should we do it?
Ethan: We'll just take them out here and start sorting them.
Theresa: I'm not sure this is a -- a good idea, Luis.
Hank: I'm with Theresa on that.
Luis: I need to be here. I still feel Sheridan's presence. I just want to be where our love was the strongest, ok?
Sam: One thing, Ivy -- don't mistake my feelings for my son as a sign that I'm looking to rekindle our relationship.
Ivy: You actually --
Sam: Grace, my family, and Ethan are the most important things in the world to me.
Ivy: Of course they are. I know that. It's just nice to know that I could call you once in a while to talk about Ethan.
Sam: All you have to do is pick up the phone.
Ivy: It's just that, you know, it gets really lonely in this house.
Sam: Ivy, you don't have to stay here.
Ivy: Oh, right. And let that shrew Rebecca think she's won? Oh, no, no, no. Now, my plan was to stay here and get some kind of monetary settlement from Julian. Now Julian's gone. I don't know what's going to happen to me. I don't even know if I'm going to get out of this damn chair!
Sam: I thought you were making progress.
Ivy: Yes, I am. I am just feeling sorry for myself.
Sam: Physical therapy must be rough.
Ivy: I can take it. No, I know, I know I will get out of this thing someday.
Sam: I know you will. I got to get going. I'll check back with you later.
Ivy: All right.
Sam: All you have to do is call me about Ethan.
Ivy: Thanks, Sam. That really means a lot.
Ivy: Oh. Oh. Oh. Damn it.
Liz: Is she still cold?
Brian: And wet.
Liz: These will warm her up.
Brian: You're going to be fine, Diana.
Diana: Where --
Brian: I think she's coming to.
Diana: What's going on?
Liz: You just relax, ok?
Diana: Why am I all wet?
Brian: You were sleepwalking again.
Doc: It was the power of the Triangle.
Liz: Enough with that.
Brian: You went into the ocean.
Diana: I did?
Brian: You don't remember?
Liz: Can you remember anything, Diana?
Diana: No, I can't.
Liz: When you were in the water, it was like you were clinging to someone and you didn't want to be pulled away.
Diana: Clinging to someone?
Liz: Is anything coming back?
Diana: My lover. I was with my dead lover.
Luis: Those are Sheridan's clothes.
Luis: What are you doing with them?
Ethan: We're doing what she wanted.
Luis: What are you talking about?
Ethan: Her estate lawyer called -- about auctioning off her clothes for charity.
Luis: No, you can't sell her clothes. No, you can't.
Ethan: Luis, look, I miss Sheridan, too. Look, I think maybe you're right. This isn't a good time.
Gwen: Yeah. This can wait, Luis. Of course it can.
Hank: Look, Luis had a pretty rough night.
Ethan: Yeah, I can see he has. Let's go, Gwen.
Luis: It's the same dress that Sheridan wore to the party at the youth center.
Hank: Why didn't you talk to Ethan?
Theresa: What could I say?
Hank: It's obvious you still love him.
Theresa: With all of my heart.
Hank: And from his reaction, I could see he still has feelings for you.
Theresa: You really think so?
Hank: Listen, Theresa. I've always thought of you as a little sister, so here's some brotherly advice.
Hank: If you think that there's a chance for the two of you, go. Talk to him.
Theresa: I would, Hank, if I knew what to say.
Hank: When you're alone, you'll know.
Theresa: I wish I could believe that.
Hank: If you don't go and talk to him, he's going to walk out of your life forever. You better believe that.
Sam: Ivy, I forgot my -- oh, my God.
Sam: What happened?
Ivy: My pills. Sam, where -- where are my pills? Give me my pills. Damn.
Sam: Ivy, you just --
Ivy: It hurts! Sam, please --
Sam: Easy, easy.
Ivy: Oh, it hurts, Sam. Please just hold me. Oh.
Sam: I'm right here. I'm right here.
Theresa: You really mean it, Hank? Should I talk to Ethan?
Hank: If you still want to hold on to him, yeah. Listen, the way I see it, you two are broken up, right?
Hank: What do you have to lose?
Theresa: Nothing. Thanks, Hank. Ethan, may I talk to you for a moment?
Ethan: Theresa, I really don't think it's the right time.
Theresa: It'll just take a moment.
Ethan: Gwen, this won't take long.
Ethan: What do you want to talk about, Theresa?
Theresa: You. I want you back. Is there any chance that we could ever get back together?
Luis: I remember the night that Sheridan wore this dress.
Luis: Oh. You look incredible. You are so beautiful.
Sheridan: Thank you. You don't look half bad yourself.
Luis: I can't believe I'll never see her wear it again.
Brian: Tell me about it. Tell me what you remember.
Sheridan: It's all fuzzy. I just remember being with him in the water. That's all I can remember.
Liz: You know, I think we should get out of here, let Diana get some rest. I'll help you get out of these wet things and into something warm.
Brian: Can you stay, too, Doc, and examine her, make sure she's ok? Thanks.
Doc: Well, let's see what we've got in the way of a pulse.
Sheridan: I have to remember.
Luis: Why do I keep seeing her, Hank? It's like she's out there somewhere, alive. Why can't I find her?
Doc: Pulse is good and strong.
Sheridan: It's you.
