Kelly: Um, should we just, um--

John: There's a back room.

Kelly: Yeah. Okay.

Gigi: "References." John McBain?

Gigi's voice: Natalie was scared to death of losing you.

John's voice: How long did you know? How long--weeks, months? That's nice for you, Gigi. I had to find out on my wedding day that my son is another man's child. You didn't bother to tell me that.

Gigi: Why am I even filling this out? I'm just gonna call Cristian.

Natalie: Hey, Gigi.

Gigi: Hey, Natalie, what are you doing here?

Natalie: I just needed to get out of the house. Brody is watching Liam. Is that a job application?

Gigi: Yes. I used to vet the applicants at the Bon Jour in Texas, and Noelle just asked me to take a look.

Natalie: Okay, but it's not yours, right? Because I couldn't imagine you trying to handle another job. Between taking care of Rex and Shane, going to school, working for Cristian, working for John, you got a full plate, girl.

Clint: Joey, what the hell is going on?

Joey: I'm searching your safe, Dad.

Clint: For what?

Joey: Evidence.

Clint: Evidence?

Aubrey's voice: You promised me you wouldn't show Joey the footage of Cutter and me on that jump drive.

Clint's voice: Mm-hmm, and I haven't.

Aubrey's voice: So far, but I need a guarantee that you never will, and the only way I can do that is if I destroy it myself.

Clint's voice: Well, I'll tell you something. I can't do that, so you are just going to have to trust me.

Clint: Evidence of what, Joey?

Todd: Yeah. I can't deal with this now.

Blair: Jeez, how long does it take you to drive from the office?

Todd: I was in the middle of something. So what did he do now?

Blair: Who?

Todd: Jack.

Jack: Taking up a collection, wheezy? Finally gonna get some clothes that fit?

Brad: Ha ha!

Blair: Jack didn't do anything.

Todd: Ach. Well, then what's the problem? Is he hurt or sick or something?

Blair: No. He's fine.

Todd: Blair, then what am I doing here? Drag me all the way down here, and there's no emergency?

Blair: There's an emergency, all right, and it's you. You are the problem.

Tomás: So this is the famous Rodi's.

Téa: Yes, home of the delicious Rodi's burger.

Tomás: Are they open? It looks empty.

Téa: They should be.

Tomás: Oh, someone is here.

Téa: Hmm. Yeah. John. He's the owner. His car was in the parking lot. He's probably got his hands full in the back somewhere.

Brad: Come on, wheezy. Let's see what you got. You're a rich Buchanan now.

Shane: It's not my money. It's the school's.

Jack: Yeah, and the Buchanans don't want anything to do with him, right, wheeze? Grandpa Buch said, "take a hike."

Brad: Wheezy, that sucks.

Jack: So he's still mooching off my Aunt Viki. The wheezer here doesn't have a dime.

Brad: What are you talking about? He's got a fistful of dollars.

Shane: It's not mine.

Jack: You're right. It's mine. You see, the boosters, they're supposed to help kids in need, like me.

Shane: Yeah, right.

Jack: No. I'm serious. I left my lunch money at home. I'm starving, and I have to pay for that field trip I was supposed to go on to the sewage plant. Come on. You got to help me. Hand it over.

Todd: Blair--

Blair: You're not gonna go anywhere until you hear what I have to say.

Todd: Well, I have a newspaper to run, though.

Blair: Yeah? Why don't you run it and leave your children alone?

Todd: Oh, did Starr come crying to you?

Blair: You threatened those kids with a gun, Todd.

Todd: Ha! It's just a cap gun.

Blair: I don't care what it was. You scared them to death.

Todd: Good. I've already got a grandchild. I don't need another one, I mean, not right now.

Blair: Well, you better keep your cap gun to yourself. Otherwise, you're gonna drive your other daughter down that same road.

Tomás: Maybe we should go someplace else.

Téa: No. I want my delicious Rodi's burger. Hey, John! Where are you? John?

Jeff: Hey, Téa.

Téa: Hey.

Jeff: Sorry. I was just in back.

Téa: Oh.

Jeff: This a working lunch?

Téa: Oh, no. I'm taking my brother on a tour of all the hotspots in Llanview.

Jeff: Brother?

Téa: Yeah. Oh, Jeff, this is Tomás. Tomás, Jeff.

Jeff: Nice to meet you.

Tomás: Nice to meet you.

Jeff: Take any table. I'll be right over.

Tomás: Thank you.

Jeff: He single?

Téa: He's cute, right?

Jeff: You have to ask?

Téa: I'm afraid he's got his eye on someone else.

Blair: I love Dani, and I know she's not mine, so I can't stop you from ruining her life, but I'll tell you this much. You are gonna leave Starr alone. She has been through enough, Todd, and if James makes her happy, then--

Todd: Ah, James. You really want her with that guy James "Grand Theft" Ford?

Blair: Okay. The incident with the car was all his father. His father is dead, thank God. She's been through enough. James makes her happy, and you're gonna leave them alone.

Todd: Says who?

Blair: Says me.

Todd: Oh, I'm shaking.

Blair: Well, you should be, Todd, because you know what? I got some serious backup.

Todd: You do? Shaun?

Blair: No, but maybe I should give him a call, let him know that you've been misbehaving...

Todd: You can do whatever you want.

Blair: And then there's always Tomás. Yeah. I know him. I know he'd love to have a piece of you.

Jeff: So two Rodi burgers.

Téa: Oh, you got to order the fries.

Tomás: All right. The herb focaccia, two fries.

Téa: Yes!

Jeff: Got it. It may take a minute. It's just me and John and the cook today, so--

Téa: I thought that Gigi worked on Wednesdays.

Jeff: Well, she does. She did, but she’s kind of moved on.

Téa: Oh, good for her. Gigi has a son, and she goes to school, so she probably needed time to study, right?

Jeff: You'd have to ask her.

Gigi: So are you going back to work after your maternity leave?

Natalie: Yeah. Sure. Why not?

Gigi: John is there. Brody is there. There's all those guns laying around.

Natalie: I know, but you know what? They're just gonna have to suck it up because I can't just let either one of them keep me from a job that I love. It's just - I don't really know when I'm gonna get back. I want to spend some time with Liam, and at this point, I don't have any clue where I'm gonna live. Everything is kind of up in the air.

Gigi: Well, I kind of like you living right across the lawn.

Natalie: I know. It's great. I mean, I love having Mom and Lois and you there. Things have been really tense around the house lately.

Gigi: Yeah. Viki told me. Tess is back.

Natalie: Yep, exactly what I was afraid of. Jessica couldn't handle Brody and I sleeping together.

Gigi: Didn't help that it came out at the wedding.

Natalie: Nope, and now Tess has taken off with Ryder, and it's all my fault.

Gigi: Natalie, you didn't give Jessica D.I.D.

Natalie: No, but I knew about it.

Gigi: And you bent over backwards to support her. You can't blame yourself for her illness. It's not your fault.

Natalie: Yeah. Well, that depends on who you ask. Tess said that the only reason she's back is because I ruined Jessica's life.

Gigi: Of course that's what Tess says. That's classic Tess.

Natalie: She's not the only one. John hates me.

Gigi: Oh, John needs to grow up. Okay. So he didn't get his dream scenario. Too bad. The baby is gorgeous, and you're amazing. If Rex and I could get back together, anything is possible.

Natalie: Not if John has already moved on to Kelly Cramer.

Kelly's voice: Are you saying that if I got to London sooner or told you right away that you wouldn't be marrying Aubrey?

Joey's voice: Yeah, but I am marrying Aubrey.

Kelly's voice: Yeah. You are. You sure are.

Joey's voice: Yeah.

Kelly: Wait.

John: Wait? What is it?

Kelly: I can't do this.

Clint: What do you think you got there? Spit it out, son.

Joey: I saw a picture of Eddie Ford on "Access Llanview," and I knew I'd seen him before, and then I remembered. I saw him here with you.

Clint: That's right. Eddie Ford came right through my front door in broad daylight. Why? Because we were gonna have a little talk about Inez. He was making life difficult for the little lady. So I offered him some money to get out of town.

Joey: That's not what Nora told me.

Clint: Nora? You went to the D.A.?

Joey: She's part of our family, and I was hoping that she would tell me it was nothing, except she told me that it fit. She thinks you killed Eddie Ford.

Clint: Nora told you that I was a suspect.

Joey: Yeah. She did.

Clint: So now what, you're doing her dirty work? You're breaking into the safe looking for proof?

Joey: Is that what this is, proof that you killed Eddie Ford?

John: Hey, I'm sorry. I don't know what I'm doing. I didn't mean to push you.

Kelly: Oh, you didn't. You didn't. It's just this place. I keep thinking of Joey.

Clint: Do you honestly think that I am capable of killing a man?

Joey: Like you've never crossed the line before--wiring Aubrey's hotel room with cameras, switching my nephew's paternity results?

Clint: That was Vimal Patel.

Joey: All on his own. Yeah. Okay. Like I'll believe that.

Clint: What do you want? The man confessed. He's in prison.

Joey: Dad, he's taking the fall for you. You don't think I know how this works? You have enough money, you can get away with anything. You paid Eddie Ford to kidnap Nora.

Clint: Oh, Nora has been trying to sell that story all over town. I guess she finally found a buyer because you will believe anything except what's right in front of you.

Joey: Did you kill Eddie Ford, yes or no?

Clint: No, no, and no, but I guess that doesn't satisfy you.

Joey: Yeah. After all the lies you've told, do you blame me?

Clint: All right, then. Let's find out. You want to see what's on that jump drive? Go ahead, Joey. Let's fire it up.

Shane: I'm not giving you the money.

Jack: No?

Shane: Hey, give it back.

Brad: What do you say, wheezy? You want it? Come and get it.

Shane: Give it back. Stop.

Jack: What are you doing, man? You know wheezy has got asthma.

Brad: Oh, sorry. My bad.

Jack: Yeah. Ooh, wheezy, you feeling all right, getting all out of breath?

Shane: Just give me the money.

Jack: Oh, you'll get it back. I'll give it to your mom when she comes by my room tonight.

Brad: Yeah. Then you can send her to mine. You might make a little extra.

Principal: Shane, how'd the boosters do today?

Shane: Fine.

Principal: Fine. I'll take whatever you got and put it in the safe.

Jack: That was almost too easy.

Brad: Hey, he's talking to Hoffman.

Shane: I'm sorry, Principal Hoffman. I don't have the money.

Hoffman: What do you mean, Shane? Where's the money?

Shane: Jack Manning took it.

Tomás: Why is it that Americans insist on putting ice in everything?

Téa: Last I checked, you were still American, but don't worry. Once you get back to Paris, they won't put any ice in your precious water.

Tomás: Paris?

Téa: Mm-hmm, once you go back home.

Tomás: Not going anywhere, not until you've come to your senses and left your husband.

Téa: My husband is fine, thank you very much.

Tomás: Oh, so he got the lobotomy. That's good. He's dangerous, pajarita.

Téa: He's complicated, as am I, as are you.

Tomás: And your daughter?

Téa: She's fine. She's home. Her father and I, oh, let's just say we had a meeting of the minds, and he's agreed to work on his attitude.

Tomás: Girl I grew up with would never settle for that.

Téa: Well, I've changed, and I'm happy now, and I don't need you running interference with my husband.

Tomás: You want to live with a raving maniac, that's up to you. That's fine.

Téa: Look. I just don't need you to stay to baby-sit me, all right?

Tomás: Oh, so now you're throwing me out?

Téa: I'm not throwing you out.

Tomás: I haven't even met Daniella.

Téa: Oh, don't even pretend that's the reason you're staying. You're staying because of Blair Cramer.

Tomás: Well—

Todd: Not worried about Tomás. He left town.

Blair: Here I thought you ran a newspaper, Todd. Looks like he's sticking around.

Todd: Why? Oh. Is he sniffing around you?

Blair: Why would you say that?

Todd: I know you.

Blair: Yeah, and I know you. The reason he's sticking around is because he doesn't approve of his sister's husband.

Todd: Well, he's the weirdo. How about that picture he painted of you?

Blair: I thought it was lovely.

Todd: Of course you would. You know what? I'm gonna solve this problem once and for all.

Blair: What are you calling?

Todd: I'm calling the state department.

Blair: You're not gonna call the state department.

Todd: Yes. Hello. State department? I'd like to report somebody named Tom--

[Cell phone rings]

Todd: Oh, I had you there, didn't I?

Blair: No. You did not.

Todd: This is Todd. Yeah? What about him? Eh, okay. I'll be right there. Well, you'll be happy now.

Blair: Why? What--

Todd: Seems we have a real Jack emergency at school.

Gigi: John slept with Kelly Cramer.

Natalie: Twice.

Gigi: Oh, so that's what was going on.

Natalie: What do you mean?

Gigi: When I came into work this morning, I found John there buried in a bottle of bourbon. He had been there all night.

Natalie: Oh?

Gigi: Yeah, and for what it's worth, I can't imagine anyone wanting to sleep with him right now, even Kelly.

John: Yeah. When I look around the storage room, I think of Joey, too. This is the Joey that married Aubrey, right?

Kelly: Yeah. The night before the wedding, Joey and I got locked up in here. I think I told you at the bachelor party that we got stuck in here. Anyway, we were in here all night just talking, and I finally got up the nerve to tell him how I felt. He was happy about it, and I could tell because the next thing out of his mouth was that he was jealous of Cutter, and it was like nothing had changed. We were right there, that old connection.

John: So what are you doing in here with me?

Natalie: John has been hitting the bottle pretty hard since the nonwedding. Has he said anything to you? Actually, what are you doing? Why aren't you at work right-- don't tell me that John closed down the bar again and sent you home.

Gigi: No.

Natalie: Okay. So what are you doing he-- Gigi--

Gigi: Natalie--

Natalie: Your name is on this application. You're applying for a job?

Gigi: Yeah. Okay. I am because, look, John and I, we decided that it wasn't a good idea for me to work at Rodi's anymore.

Natalie: Please tell me that he did not fire you.

Gigi: It's my fault. I should've kept my big mouth shut. I couldn't stand the way he was acting towards you, so I said something, and he kind of figured out that I had known about Brody.

Natalie: So he fired you? He's a moron.

Gigi: Natalie, where you going? Where you going?

Natalie: He's not getting away with this.

Gigi: No, Natalie. Mm... Natalie?

Kelly: The night before his wedding, Joey was about to kiss me, and then some janitor walks in the door.

John: Yeah. That guy has got great timing.

Kelly: I can't help but wonder what would've happened if we had a few more minutes or if I had the courage to--I don't know--grab him or whatever. Anyway...

John: You got to stop beating yourself up about this stuff. What's done is done.

Kelly: John, don't you ever wonder? I mean, you just saw Natalie last night. What if you did something? What if you said something? Maybe you would be back together.

Tomás: This is good.

Téa: Don't change the subject-- Blair Cramer.

Tomás: I can think of worse ways to spend my time.

Téa: Oh, please. I've seen the way you look at her.

Tomás: How do I look at her?

Téa: Like you've been looking at that burger, and there was that painting you did of her. You probably had a thing for her since you saw that photo of her in the Paris flea market.

Tomás: Why not? She's a beautiful woman, talented, exciting, almost as smart as my little sister, and she had the good sense to leave Todd.

Téa: Which time?

Tomás: The point is, she's free.

Téa: No, she's not.

Tomás: Told me she was single.

Téa: Yeah. She's single, but she's not free. I don't want you seeing her, Tomás.

Todd: Hi, Gigi. Think you're finally gonna graduate this year?

Blair and Gigi: Shut up, Todd.

Hoffman: Good. You're all here. Do you know each other?

Gigi: We've met.

Todd: Unfortunately, yes.

Blair: You want to tell us what's going on?

Hoffman: Well, the booster club had a raffle this afternoon. Unfortunately, the proceeds went missing. If you'll come with me, I'll show you. These are our two suspects.

John: You can't change the past.

Kelly: So go forward. What happened last night?

John: Nothing.

Kelly: You went over there. You saw Natalie.

John: Yeah, with Brody.

Kelly: Brody is not interested in Natalie. He's in love with Jessica.

John: I don't care. It's his kid.

Kelly: And that hurts--I get it--but doesn't losing Natalie hurt more?

Natalie: Where's John?

Jeff: Natalie, hi.

Natalie: Don't even try. I know he's here.

Jeff: He's in the back room, but I wouldn't go in there. He's with someone.

Kelly: She wants you back. You go over there. You tell her that you miss her and that, okay, it's gonna take a little bit of time, but you're willing to work things out. You have that option. It's not like Joey, you know? I mean, he's married, but she's there. She loves you.

John: So? Anybody ever tell you you talk too much?

Natalie: John, we—

Clint: So if you want to see your old man as a murderer, huh, well, pop that thing into my laptop. Let's see whose eyes get opened.

Aubrey: Let's just all take a step back.

Clint: Why? My son is doubting my honesty, so let's settle it. That's what you want, right, Joey?

Aubrey: No! Don't.

Joey: What did you do that for?

Aubrey: Do you two see yourselves fighting like this? Clint, you should be ashamed of yourself, goading your son like this. No wonder he doesn't trust you, with the way you talk to him. Joey, listen to me. Do you really want to do this? Think about it. If there was anything incriminating on that, would he let you see it?

Joey: Honey, he's a poker player, all right, and I'm calling his bluff.

Aubrey: Listen to me. Listen. I am no expert, but that looks like the same kind of drive that had all that footage of me and Cutter. If it's from my hotel room, it probably has the same footage of you and me. Think about it. I don't want to watch it with your father, if you know what I mean.

Joey: Yeah. Yeah. You're right. You're right. You win, Dad.

Joey: Oops. Sorry.

Clint: So I assume you think I am no longer guilty.

Joey: No. I never said that.

Clint: You and your lovely bride are no longer safe in this house.

Joey: Fine. Then we'll leave.

Aubrey: Hold on. Let's not make any decisions right now. You guys just need to cool down. Why don't you take a walk, and I'll smooth things over with your dad.

Joey: Fine. I'll take a walk, but I am not staying here.

Clint: Well played.

Hoffman: Mr. Manning, Ms. Cramer, I'd like to thank you for giving us permission to open Jack's locker. Believe me, it's a lot easier than involving the police.

Todd: I didn't give him any permission.

Blair: I did.

Todd: Why? Jack said he didn't steal anything.

Blair: Well, then we don't have anything to worry about, then, do we?

Todd: What kind of lesson are you teaching him, that some idiot in a suit can trample over his civil rights that way? Plus, this kid's obviously lying.

Gigi: My son is not a liar.

Todd: Just a thief.

Blair: Todd, stop.

Todd: Why would Jack steal something? We're rich. I mean, look. See? He didn't take it.

Hoffman: Apparently, you're right.

Todd: Yeah. I am right, and you know what? You owe me an apology. Now I want that poor kid's locker searched, all right? He's the one making accusations against my son. He's the one in charge of the money.

Gigi: Honey, are you sure that you didn't just misplace the money?

Shane: No. I'm telling you, he took the box.

Jack: That's just sad, Shane. What did I ever do to you, huh?

Janitor: This what you're looking for? It was in that kid's locker.

Todd: Oh, what do you know? Shane Morasco is a liar and a thief. What do you know?

Hoffman: Thank you, Mr. Manning, for taking part of your day, and, Ms. Cramer, we'll take it from here.

Blair: All right. Thank you. Come on. Let's get home.

Hoffman: Unfortunately, I need you to stay around. We need to have a discussion about Shane's future here at Llanview High.

Tomás: So let me get this straight. Todd Manning's wife is forbidding me from seeing someone?

Téa: Tomás, you don't know what you're walking into.

Tomás: Well, as long as I'm not loitering outside the window, I'm sure I'll be fine.

Téa: Who told you about that?

Tomás: The landlady at the Angel Square hotel. Seems you and Blair have quite the history.

Téa: And I won't let you hurt her, Tomás.

Tomás: I thought you were worried about me.

Téa: You? Why would I be worried about you? You don't need anybody. Blair has had a rough year. Didn't Roxy tell you?

Tomás: I'm not gonna hurt her.

Téa: Oh, like you didn't hurt me? Like you didn't hurt our family? Like you didn't hurt Papi?

Tomás: That what this is about? I told you, pajarita. I had reasons for leaving New York.

Téa: Yeah, but you never told me what those reasons were. Why'd you disappear, Tomás?

Natalie: So what's next on your sexcapades? You gonna hit up the dirty, little movie theater down by the docks?

Kelly: I'm gonna go.

Natalie: How's your son doing, Kelly, remember, the one you threw in boarding school?

Kelly: I can see motherhood hasn't softened you a bit. I'll see you later.

John: Definitely.

Natalie: We need to talk.

John: About what?

Natalie: You fired Gigi.

John: And?

Natalie: You can't do that.

John: I don't want to work with her anymore.

Natalie: You're hardly here.

John: I don't want her here when I'm not.

Natalie: John, she is a great waitress, and the customers love her.

John: I'm sorry. Why do I have to explain myself to you?

Natalie: Okay. I get that you're mad at me. So go have sex with Kelly on every freaking surface from here to Pine Valley, and you could forget about Liam and pretend that he doesn't exist, but please do not take this out on Gigi, okay? She was just trying to be my friend.

John: Then she picked the wrong side.

Natalie: John, she's trying to put herself through L.U. She's got a kid.

John: This kid she lied to about his father? Is that where you got the idea?

Hoffman: I'm sorry, Ms. Morasco, but I have no choice. Shane will be on suspension for 3 days, after which we'll have a meeting and decide what's to be done further to deal with his behavior.

Shane: I didn't take the money, I swear.

Gigi: How did it end up in your locker?

Hoffman: Ms. Morasco, do you mind? I'm very concerned about Shane's behavior. His grades are slipping. He's been belligerent with other students and now this.

Gigi: I know. Believe me, we are concerned, too, and I can assure you that his father and I will talk with him again tonight.

Hoffman: Shane will need to write a letter of apology to the booster club.

Gigi: Of course, and a letter to Jack Manning, also.

Blair: Ooh, boy.

Jack: I'll catch you guys later. I've got to go meet up with Brad.

Blair: No. You're not going anywhere because you have homework to do, Jack.

Jack: You're punishing me? For what?

Blair: What's the story with you and Shane?

Jack: How should I know? I barely know the kid.

Blair: Okay. Why did he accuse you of stealing from the booster club?

Jack: Because he's crazy. The money was in his locker. Why am I the bad guy?

Blair: Just answer the question, Jack.

Jack: I don't know. I'm not a shrink. Maybe it's because of all the stuff going on with his dad and the Buchanans. Is that my fault?

Todd: No. That's right. Jack is the victim here.

Jack: See? Dad knows I didn't do anything wrong.

Tomás: I'm sorry I hurt you, pajarita. I swear, if I could do it over, I'd stay.

Téa: So you're not gonna tell me the reasons why you disappeared?

Tomás: I don't have the answers you want.

Téa: Well, then I'm gonna have to insist that you stay away from Blair.

Tomás: Please, Téa, I'm not a child, and neither is Blair.

Téa: Oh, Blair will listen to me. So unless you can convince me that you're not a self-centered loner--

Tomás: Okay. Well, thank you for lunch, but I still would really like to meet my niece soon.

Kelly: Joey.

Joey: Hey.

Kelly: Hi. How's your hand?

Joey: My hand?

Kelly: After the meeting with John's jaw.

Joey: Oh. No. It's fine. It's fine. John has got a hard head.

Kelly: Yeah. Yeah. I've noticed that.

Joey: Yeah. Look. I really don't want to talk about John.

Kelly: Me, neither, but I would like to talk.

Joey: Yeah. So would I. I was actually just getting out of the house.

Kelly: Right. Heard you and Aubrey are living with Clint. That'll be cozy.

Joey: Yeah.

Kelly: Well, you know what? What do I know?

Joey: A lot, trust me.

Clint: Aubrey, I have to hand it to you. That was quite impressive, using Joey's suspicions about me to get your little hands on the jump drive. You're quite the operator.

Aubrey: Me? How about you? You promise you'd back off, and then you try to goad Joey into watching that footage.

Clint: Ha ha ha! Yeah. I was just having a little fun. Believe me, if I wanted Joey to know what was on that jump drive, Joey would've seen it.

Aubrey: Is that right? Hmm. Face facts, dad. I won.

Clint: Yeah. You won... if you don't mind living under the same roof with a murderer.

Jack: So can I go out?

Blair: Not until you finish your homework.

Todd: I got to go.

Blair: Wait. We haven't finished this conversation, Todd.

Todd: We can figure out how to get back at Morasco later.

Blair: Homework! Get on it. Ohh...

[Cell phone beeps]

Gigi: Can't get a hold of your dad.

Shane: Do we have to tell him?

Gigi: Shane, you're suspended. You stole from the school. Ohh... honey, what is going on? Why would you steal money?

Shane: Mom, I swear--

[Cell phone beeps]

Shane: I needed a new pair of sneakers.

Gigi: Mm. Okay. So you steal money instead of just asking me.

Shane: Do we have to eat here?

Gigi: What's wrong with the Buenos Dias?

Shane: I don't want to see Moe or Noelle.

Gigi: Why, because you know your mom is gonna tell them that you're suspended?

Shane: Let's just go to Rodi's. You work there. We can eat for free.

Natalie: Rex left town, okay? Gigi had no way to contact him. She made a life for herself and Shane the best she could.

John: Okay, and what's your excuse?

Natalie: My sister, and I was right. You saw what happened to her when she found out.

John: And if you cared about her, you would've taken her to Saint Ann's. You would've sat her down with her doctors, and you would've gotten her all the help she needed. Instead, it was easier for you to lie.

Natalie: No. You want to believe that it was easier for me to lie. You act like I wanted this to happen.

John: No. Do not twist this around. You already slept with Brody.

Natalie: Because I was hurting over you. I was certain you had chosen Marty. You stayed with her all that time.

John: She just lost a child. My kid.

Natalie: Were you always this cruel, or was I just so in love with you that I didn't see it?

John: Nobody that loves me would ever lie to me about a child that wasn't mine.

Natalie: "Mine." Do you realize how selfish that sounds? That little boy loves you.

John: Well, then you'll just have to make sure he doesn't love me anymore.

Natalie: You know something? I made some horrible mistakes, and I admit that. I was trying to protect Jessica and Liam and you and our relationship, but what you're doing is, you are just trying to hurt me.

John: No, I'm not, but I know where to come if I need any pointers.

Natalie: Go to hell.

[Door slams]

John: I'm already there.

Kelly: Bo and Nora suspect Clint of killing Eddie Ford.

Joey: Yeah. That is what Aunt Nora told me. Kelly, it's like every day, I hear something worse about him, and now he's a murderer? I don't know what to think.

Kelly: I'm sorry. I'm so sorry.

Joey: I know. Okay.

Natalie: Get your skanky hands off my brother.

Aubrey: Was that a confession?

Clint: Maybe. Maybe not, but it really doesn't matter because all I have to do is wait for you to do yourself in, and I don't have to lift a finger.

Aubrey: Oh, you think? Okay, because from where I stand, I won.

Clint: Aubrey, I've got you right where I want you, and all I have to do is wait for Joey to come to his senses.

Aubrey: Joey loves me.

Clint: Joey loves Kelly Cramer, and the minute he realizes that, you're out, and you and your brother are gonna have to find another sucker to fleece.

Joey: Natalie, Natalie, relax. Relax, all right? Kelly and I, we're just talking.

Natalie: About what, how Kelly was christening the storage room with John?

Joey: Oh... uh!

Natalie: Touch my brother again, and I will rip both your hands off, but John, he's all yours.

Jeff: What happened to your brother?

Téa: I wish I knew.

Blair: Listen, Todd. I don't want this situation with Jack and Shane to escalate, all right?

Todd: Sure. They're just kids.

Blair: No. They're teenagers, and they're not famous for their rational thoughts, so no revenge, okay?

Todd: Okay. You just go ahead and talk him to death.

[Cell phone beeps]

Blair: What is you with this phone? You're worse than the kids with that.

[Telephone rings]

[Doorbell rings]

Todd: Bye.

On the next "One Life to Live"...

Todd: Let's start with why you're still in Llanview.

Starr: Do yourself a favor. Give it a rest.

Clint: I'll kill the son of a bitch.

Natalie: The baby, something is wrong with him.

Brody: What's wrong?

John: Natalie and I don't have that.
