Greg: Jessica, did you hear me? You're pregnant.
Jessica: Are you sure?
Greg: I take it this wasn't planned?
Jessica: No, it's not that, it's just -- I don't know -- I had no idea.
Natalie: I'm sorry, what did you just say?
Doctor: You're pregnant.
Natalie: Uh, no, no, no, no. No, I can't be.
Doctor: You can't be?
Natalie: I mean, I -- I "can" be, but I just -- I -- are you sure?
Doctor: Yes. So, I'm assuming this wasn't planned.
Natalie: Hell no. I mean, I got nothing against little babies, but -- I had no idea.
Waitress: This came for you.
Gigi: I never get mail here.
Waitress: Well, it's got your name on it. It's from Llanview University. You apply?
Gigi: No, of course not. Me apply to college? I'm a little old for that.
Waitress: Well, the last time I checked, a book is lighter than a tray.
Kelly: Everything okay?
Eli: Yeah. Excuse me.
Rex: Well, I am going to fly out to Boston tonight and start checking out these Bennett Thompsons.
Eli: Just one second, Mrs. Williamson. I'm going to step outside so we can speak more privately. So you say you're looking for Bennett Thompson?
Téa: Hey, Dani. Do you have a minute? Um, we wanted to tell you something.
Dani: Oh, God, not more bad news.
Téa: Oh, no, no. No, no. This is actually really good news.
Dani: You're in remission? You're not going to die?
Charlie: I could have sworn Dorian would take the bait.
Viki: Yeah, me, too. I know. I'm just sorry you lost your job. I know how important this project is to you.
Charlie: Well, you know, it'll still get built.
Viki: Well, don't be too sure. A Dorian scorned --
Charlie: No, is no match for "The Banner" and she's still a public official. And if she tries to renege on this project, then we'll just have to remind the public.
Viki: And we can do that. Yes, yes.
Charlie: I just knew it wasn't going to last very long, anyway, over there, working with her. Sooner or later, she was going to realize that I truly love my wife. Oh, God.
Charlie: This Vickers?
Viki: Ah. [Laughing] Yes.
Viki: Um -- this is actually the Christmas model. And it lights up.
Charlie: Oh, great. Maybe he'll fall in the pool and electrocute himself.
Brody: Hey, Charlie, Viki.
Viki: Hi, Brody.
Charlie: Oh, hey.
Brody: Have you seen Jess?
Viki: No, not since she went off to the doctor. She wasn't feeling well. She's sick.
Brody: She's sick?
Jessica: I thought maybe I had a virus.
Greg: Nope. You're having a baby.
Jessica: Oh, my God.
Viki: Yeah, apparently, she started feeling nauseous after eating a muffin.
Charlie: Baked by David Vickers.
Brody: David bakes?
Viki: David made muffins. Huh.
Brody: And Jessica ate one? What was she thinking?
Viki: Well, Natalie ate one, too.
Charlie: And she's sick, as well.
Natalie: I -- well, I thought it was just food poisoning.
Doctor: No. You're having a baby.
Natalie: Oh, my God.
Brody: So you're telling me David Vickers poisoned both your daughters?
Charlie: That's exactly what she's saying.
Viki: No! Come on. To be fair, David had a muffin and he's no worse for wear.
Charlie: Depends on who you ask.
Brody: So if it's not the muffins --
Viki: Then why are they sick? I have no idea. That's why they went to the doctor, to find out.
Doctor: I realize this is a surprise, but I have to say, this is the kind of news I'm happy to deliver. Congratulations. This is good news, isn't it?
Natalie: I'm not sure.
Greg: Congratulations, Jessica. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to assume -- is this not good news?
Jessica: I'm not sure.
Brody: She's not picking up.
Viki: Well, maybe they're still at the doctors. Or maybe they're feeling better and they went out somewhere. I mean, Natalie likes to play pool.
Brody: Oh -- hey, Jess, I'm at your house. Your mom says you're not feeling too good and that you went to the doctor. I hope you're feeling better. I'm going to go over to Rodi's. Why don't you give me a call, let me know how you're doing. Okay.
Viki: Well, let me know if there's a problem, okay?
Brody: Sure thing. All right. See you.
Viki: Okay. Ha ha ha. Well, now, that blue matches your eyes.
Charlie: And you're saying that a grown man actually wore this?
Viki: No. David Vickers wore that.
Eli: You know what? Let me call you right back. Hey, John. You looking for someone?
John: Yeah, have you seen Kelly or Rex?
Eli: Yeah, they're inside. Come in.
John: Thank you.
Eli: Oh, you know, I still haven't gotten that file on my client, Hannah O'Connor, from Saint Ann's. Your office hasn't heard anything, have they?
John: As far as I know, she's still being evaluated, but I'm not here about her. I'm here about Bennett Thompson.
Téa: No, honey, I'm sorry. I -- I didn't mean to get your hopes up.
Todd: Of course, we'd all love some good news on that front, but no, this is about something different.
Dani: So nothing's changed?
Téa: No, mija, I'm sorry.
Todd: But you're feeling good today, right?
Todd: And she's continuing with the treatments and everything.
Dani: So what's the good news?
Téa: You tell her.
Todd: You sure?
Dani: Somebody tell me.
Todd: Your mom and I are getting married.
Natalie: Okay. Is there a possibility that you could be wrong here?
Doctor: This isn't a home pregnancy test, Natalie. The results are conclusive.
Natalie: Okay. And how far along am I?
Doctor: 2 months.
Natalie: 2 months?
Natalie: Oh, no. Oh, no, oh, no, oh, no --
Doctor: Natalie, are you all right?
Jessica: Is there anything that might have caused a false positive?
Greg: Well, the test is pretty accurate.
Jessica: I -- just never expected -- how far along am I?
Greg: About 2 months.
Jessica: 2 months?
Ford: Are you okay, baby?
Jessica: Yes. I want this.
Jessica: Oh, no.
Greg: Are you all right?
Natalie: I'm fine. I just -- I'm a little blown away. I -- this is not what I was thinking about. I was not thinking about children. I mean, I ju -- I just started a new job.
Doctor: I understand. But in my experience, there's never a right time.
Jessica: It's just that, you know, I'm still recovering from everything that happened with Mitch Laurence and -- I just started this new job. This was the last thing that I expected.
Doctor: Look, I can recommend a couple of great OBs here at the hospital. Lots of people, like Morrison and -- Marks is terrific. You'll be fine.
Natalie: Yeah, I'll -- I'll make an appointment. Thanks, Doc. [Sighs]
Greg: I understand it's a little overwhelming. Who was it you saw when you had Bree? I want to send the test results over.
Jessica: Um -- I'm not sure who I'm going to use this time.
Greg: It's just that you have these underlying health concerns. I really do think that you need to be seen sooner than later.
Jessica: Right, of course. Thank you, Doctor.
Greg: Of course. Okay.
Jessica: So, um, what did the doctor say?
Viki: Darling, I know that David Vickers is not exactly your favorite person.
Charlie: Well, the guy's a parasite.
Viki: Well, sometimes, yes. But he's also very amusing, and he's loyal.
Charlie: Oh, loyal? You call that loyal? He's supposed to be in love with Dorian, but he's rolling around in the sack with you?
Viki: That was our plan.
Viki: Come on. I know it must have been disconcerting to find us together, but, sweetheart, it didn't mean anything. I mean, you do know that, don't you?
Charlie: Just do me a favor, okay? Burn those sheets.
Viki: Oh, Charlie --
Charlie: No, I -- I know it was my fault. So next time I come up with a brilliant idea like that, just throw me in the pool.
Viki: [Chuckles] What if I had found you and Dorian together?
Charlie: But no, there is no "me and Dorian."
Viki: And there is no "David and me."
Viki: There is only you and me. May I tell you a little secret?
Viki: [Laughs] When I was taking pictures of -- he who must not be named --
Viki: Mm-hmm. It made me think of that time last summer when you and I were out by the pool. Remember, just the two of us? And I was putting sunscreen on your shoulders and -- remember?
Charlie: And when are we ever going to be just you and me by that pool again, hmm?
Viki: That's a good question. We should do something about that.
Eli: Bennett Thompson? So you think he's a suspect?
John: Oh, I just need to speak to Kelly.
Eli: Unless this has anything to do with, you know, me and --
John: No, not yet.
Kelly: Oh, hey, John. I didn't hear the doorbell.
Eli: Yeah. I let him in.
John: I -- I just wanted to drop this off. It's -- it's a copy of the case file. There's a copy in there of the baseball card and the paper that was found in the vase.
Rex: Now, you're sure this is not a problem, John -- me working this?
John: Yeah, no problem. I got a lot going on here, and no jurisdiction in Boston, so -- just let me know what's going on.
Kelly: Of course he will. Rex will let you know whenever there's a development. That's for sure.
Rex: Well, there's not much to report yet. We've located 3 Bennett Thompsons in the Boston area. One's a marketing guy, one's a teacher, the other's a lawyer. But with the baseball card and the fact that Rodney was a huge Sox fan, apparently from Boston, I figured that was a good place to start.
Rex: Anyway, I should get going.
Kelly: Okay. I'll call you. Thank you.
Rex: Okay. As soon as I know anything --
Kelly: All right. Bye.
Eli: I got to go, too.
John: Hey, uh -- call my office later, will you, Counselor? There's a couple things we need to go over.
Eli: Oh, absolutely, as soon as I'm done with this appointment.
Dani: What do you mean, you're getting married?
Todd: Well, for some strange reason, I asked your mom to marry me, and she said yes.
Todd: So, now I'm stuck with her. No, of course, the truth is that I should have asked her a long time ago, and never should have left her. It was a big mistake.
Todd: So what do you say, squirt? You want to give me a chance?
Dani: Okay, first, don't ever call me "squirt."
Todd: Ah, sorry. Done. Dani -- Daniella.
Todd: But really, I need to know you're -- you're okay with it. I have to have your blessing, or this is a no-go.
Dani: Well, it's not up to me.
Todd: Oh, yeah, it is, because if you're unhappy, your mom's unhappy. And if your mom's unhappy, then I'm just miserable.
Dani: You're not just doing this because of me?
Téa: No, sweetheart, I'm doing it because of me.
Dani: Okay, look. I know that I've been hard on you since I got here. But you really came through for me with Nate. And you've been taking good care of my mom. And now that I know that you didn't hurt Dr. Saybrooke, maybe you're not as bad as I thought.
Todd: Tsk. Aw, shucks. Is that a yes?
Dani: Just keep making her smile.
Todd: Job one.
Téa: Hmm! [Sighs]
Natalie: The doctor said it was nothing. That it was just probably a stomach virus.
Natalie: Why? What did Dr. Evans say to you?
Jessica: Um -- same thing. Um, stomach virus, and I probably got it from you.
Natalie: I don't think so. Besides, I think it was still those muffins.
Jessica: Yeah, me, too, but I wonder why David didn't get sick, huh?
Natalie: I don't know. Yeah, maybe because he's immune to his own cooties.
Jessica: Yeah, you're probably right.
Natalie: Right. You know, I -- I got to run, so I'm --
Jessica: Yeah. I have lots of stuff to do, so --
Natalie: Okay, so I'll catch you later.
Jessica: Yeah, I'll call you later. Bye.
Kelly: John, I really appreciate you coming over here. I can't thank you enough for giving Rex the file.
John: Well, hopefully, he's on to something.
Kelly: Oh, I just hope I'm not on to a wild-goose chase. I mean, we're assuming that the name means something in the vase, but you know what? Bennett Thompson could have nothing to do with my mother, so -- I don't know.
John: Hmm. What was Eli doing here?
Kelly: He just stopped by to see Blair.
John: Mm-hmm. They're getting close.
Kelly: Is there a reason why you're interested in Eli?
John: No. Just had a couple questions for him.
Kelly: John -- I am a reporter, so if there's something you would like to know, all you have to do is just ask me.
John: Oh. Being that you're a reporter, don't make too much out of it. Eli is defending the lead suspect in 3 open cases I'm working. He's got -- he's got Cole for attacking Todd Manning, and then he's got Hannah O'Connor for supposedly assaulting Marty and this guy Ford --
Kelly: Supposedly? Wait a minute. Wait, she -- she confessed to that.
John: She did, and then she -- she unspooled and somehow, Eli got her assigned to Saint Ann's for evaluation.
Kelly: So you don't think she did it?
John: I'm not thinking anything.
Kelly: John, look, if there's something you know about Eli, tell me now. Because Blair is not just seeing the guy, she's going to marry him.
Gigi: Yo, yo. You know what you want?
Brody: Oh, just an order of fries.
Brody: Thanks, Gigi.
Gigi: You okay?
Gigi: You look down.
Natalie: No, I'm -- I'm just really hungry. Yeah, can you get me some fries?
Gigi: I'm going to ask Jeff to make a new batch.
Natalie: Well, then don't bother.
Gigi: No. Brody wants fries, too. Hey, Brody, your fries will be just a minute because I'm going to have Jeff make a fresh batch for you and Natalie.
Brody: No problem. Natalie?
Gigi: I'll bring your fries to his table, okay?
Natalie: [Sighs] I'm sorry, what did you just say?
Doctor: You're pregnant.
Brody: You okay?
Natalie: Why does everyone keep asking me that?
Brody: Well, I'm sorry. Your mom just told me that you and Jessica got sick from some poisoned muffins.
Natalie: Right. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have snapped at you. I just -- really, really rough day.
Brody: Those muffins?
Natalie: No. It was, I think, a stomach virus.
Brody: Well, I left your sister a message, but she hasn't gotten back to me.
Natalie: Well, that's weird. She left the hospital at the same time I did.
Brody: So where is she?
Jessica: What the hell are you doing here?
Ford: Taking some food to my brother -- who's here because your cousin shot him. What are you doing here?
Brody: Straight to voicemail. Hey, Jess, it's me. I'm at Rodi's. Call me back. You want to tell me what the hell's going on?
Gigi: Oh, Deb, I'm going to take my break now. Hi. You got my text?
Rex: Yeah, on my way to the airport. I was going to call you when I got there, but then you said you needed to see me.
Gigi: Where are you going?
Rex: Boston -- for that case that I'm working on for Kelly, but just for a day or 2. What's going on?
Rex: L.U. office of admissions? You applied?
Gigi: I've been thinking about it for a while. I don't really want to be a waitress all my life. And they have this rolling admissions plan for older students so you can take two classes at a time and still work. Anyway, I talked to Viki about it, and she told me to go for it.
Rex: Why didn't you tell me?
Gigi: Because if I don't get in -- which I probably didn't -- it's just -- it's too embarrassing.
Gigi: I'm telling you now, okay?
Rex: So --
Gigi: I don't know. I couldn't open it. It's probably a rejection letter. It's really thin.
Rex: I can't believe you didn't open this.
Gigi: I was waiting for you. No. No, you open it.
Dani: Look, I know you guys are trying to pretend like everything's all normal.
Todd: Me, normal?
Dani: Look, you know what I mean. And I'm trying, too, but it's hard.
Todd: No --
Téa: I know it's hard, honey.
Todd: No, no, it isn't hard. No, the hospital's hard and the treatments are hard and the medication's hard and all that, but this is -- you know, getting married to your mom and loving her and celebrating it -- it's all very good. It's all very easy.
Dani: You know something? You're right. Did you guys pick a date?
Téa: No, we haven't. We're still trying to work it out with Blair. You know, we all want the kids there, so -- hey -- that doesn't mean we can't go shopping.
Todd: No, you have to ask her first.
Téa: Okay, okay, okay.
Dani: Ask me what?
Téa: Okay, okay! Would you like to be my maid of honor?
Dani: Sure, I'd love to.
Téa: You would?
Dani: Yeah, I think it'd be cool.
Dani: Hey, can Nate come to the wedding? I mean, he doesn't have to be a guy of honor, or anything like that, but --
Todd: That's a relief.
Téa: Yes, of course. Nate can come.
Dani: So when are we going shopping?
Dani: Yeah, that would be great. Oh, but you guys probably want some alone time, right?
Téa: No. No.
Todd: We don't need any alone time.
Dani: This is how it's going to be? You guys going to lie to me?
Todd: Do you see?
Todd: How could you ever doubt that she was my daughter? She's just like me, a spitting image.
Téa: I know.
Dani: All right. Okay, okay! I'm out of here. I was supposed to meet Nate somewhere, anyway, so --
Téa: Have fun.
Todd: You just have to let her deal with it.
Téa: You're right.
Téa: [Sighs] This is the easy part.
Charlie: Well, did you throw him out?
Viki: No. No, I was just talking to Lois. Charlie, I can't throw David out now. Not after the way we just treated him. Besides, it's a lot easier to control him if he's under our roof. And as long as he's on our payroll, he will think twice before teaming up with Dorian for operation payback.
Charlie: Oh, God, just shoot me now.
Viki: No, I have a much better idea.
Viki: What would you say to throwing a few things into a suitcase and getting out of here?
Charlie: Well, go where?
Viki: Well, I'm kind of attached to sunscreen on your shoulders, you know, whatever, and -- how about someplace tropical?
Charlie: What do you mean? You mean just drop everything and take off?
Viki: What's to drop? I mean, you're not working.
Charlie: Yeah, thank you.
Viki: And I haven't had a real vacation in ages. I just talked to Lois. She's perfectly happy to stay here and look after things and keep us posted. So what do you think, huh? Someplace sunny, warm, far away?
Charlie: Low key and no Dorian types?
Viki: Nope, and very, very private. What would you say to a bungalow on the beach? Sunscreen and whatever, huh?
Charlie: Hmm. Mmm.
Viki: Is that a yes?
Charlie: How fast can you pack?
Rex: Before I open this, I want you to know that I am extremely proud of you. No matter what, it takes a lot of guts to put yourself out there like this.
Rex: Absolutely. Ahem.
Rex: [Sighs] "Dear Ms. Morasco, congratulations, and welcome to Llanview -- "
Gigi: Oh! They took me!
Rex: Oh -- okay, you're choking me here.
Gigi: Okay. Sorry. Read it again.
Rex: Okay. "Dear Ms. Morasco -- "
Gigi: I can't believe I got in.
Rex: Are you going to let me read this?
Rex: "Dear Ms. Morasco, the Admissions Department is pleased to inform you that you've been accepted to matriculate this fall." "Matriculate" -- now, that is a college word.
Gigi: Reading, not commenting, Balsom.
Rex: Fine. Sheesh. Ahem. "It was the unanimous decision by the board that you were by far the hottest applicant with legs that go -- "
Gigi: It doesn't say that. I got in.
Rex: Way to go.
John: Blair's going to marry Eli?
Kelly: Yeah, he asked her a few days ago. So if there's something that you know, speak now. Blair and I are like fire and ice, but she is family and I don't want to see her hurt or unhappy, because that woman does not suffer silently. You try living with her.
John: Huh. Yeah. No, I don't have anything on Eli.
Kelly: Something is bothering you.
John: Could be nothing.
Kelly: You sure you're not jealous? I know that you and Blair had a --
John: We're friends. We're friends. And like you, I just want to see her happy. Isn't that what we all want?
Natalie: I don't know why Jess isn't calling you back, Brody. Maybe you should ask her yourself.
Brody: I'm not talking about Jessica, I'm talking about you.
Natalie: What do you mean?
Brody: You didn't look too thrilled to see me when you walked in. And it's not the first time.
Natalie: I don't know what you're talking about.
Brody: Hey, drop it. Talk to me, Natalie. I probably already know.
Natalie: You do?
Brody: Of course I do. It's about us hooking up.
Natalie: Why would you say that?
Todd: Hey, did you see that? She didn't yell or scream or run into her room.
Téa: [Chuckles] Yeah, you were great with her.
Todd: No, I just wish that --
Téa: What? First comes trust, then comes love. Come on --
Todd: No, no, I --
Téa: Come on, you'll get there.
Todd: I don't know, I just think that -- she's cool with the way I'm here for you, but I don't know if she's going to lean on me, you know?
Téa: Well, she'll have to, because when I'm gone --
Todd: No, that's not what I mean. Your kids are supposed to want to lean on you. But I never had that. That's why I always wanted to be next to my kids, no matter what.
Todd: [Sighs] I mean, even if they hate me. I don't care. It's just that I want them to feel comfortable enough to -- to reach out and grab on if they need me.
Téa: That's why your kids have always gone to the mat for you.
Todd: Yeah, I guess they have.
Téa: Oh, man, we really screwed up. I totally got her hopes up. But even -- even when she got disappointed like that -- what upsets me the most -- is the thought that I won't -- I won't even be able to comfort her when I'm gone.
Todd: You know what? This is our --
Todd: [Chuckles] Engagement party. We're supposed to be celebrating.
Téa: Hmm, hmm, hmm.
Todd: You know? Your daughter said that she'd be your maid of honor, and she left us alone. So we could celebrate.
Todd: And I for one am not going to let her down. Hmm?
Ford: So, you don't know what you're doing here?
Jessica: Ford, the night that you tried to get me into bed, I --
Ford: No, no, I told you and your cop boyfriend nothing happened. Okay? I've got to go take this food to my brother before it gets any colder.
[Cell phone beeps]
Kelly: Hi, Jess.
Jessica: Kelly, where are you?
Kelly: La Boulaie.
Jessica: Stay there. I'm coming right over. We need to talk.
Todd: It's been a long time, hasn't it?
Téa: No, Todd -- Todd, Todd, Todd --
Todd: No, no, no, no.
Téa: Todd -- Todd, I really -- I don't feel very good. I --
Todd: Doesn't matter. You're always you.
Téa: The treat --
Todd: Hey. You're you. You're always you, aren't you?
Todd: Is that you? Téa?
[Téa continues laughing]
Todd: Come, come, come.
Dani: Dr. Evans --
Greg: Hey, Danielle. How you doing?
Dani: Um, could I ask you a few questions? About my mother?
Greg: Sure. Come on in here.
Dani: So, I know that my mom has glioblastoma and that the treatments haven't been working.
Dani: But I've been doing some research.
Dani: Yeah. And I found this site --
Greg: If I may -- there's a lot of good, solid information online, particularly if you can access a university library or a medical journal. But there's also a lot of misleading information online.
Dani: Yeah, I know, but this site --
Greg: And glioblastoma is particularly resistant to conventional therapies.
Dani: Right, which is why I've been looking at new therapies. Look, this guy -- he's had a ton of success with this new procedure that he just developed.
Greg: Danielle, the reason scientists submit their works to medical journals, as opposed to posting them on web sites, is that the boards of these medical journals won't publish anything unless it has been tested.
Dani: Why are you being so negative?
Greg: I'm just being realistic.
Dani: No, no, no. I think you don't want to admit that there might be someone out there who can help my mother more than you can.
Greg: You really are your father's daughter, aren't you?
Rex: Oh, I am so sorry, Gige. We should celebrate. I got to get to the airport.
Gigi: I know.
Rex: All right, as soon as I get back from Boston, we are driving to Philly and hitting up the town, okay?
Rex: Well, that didn't take long.
Rex: You're worried already.
Gigi: Well, it's just that it's a lot of money and it takes up a lot of time. You think I'm being selfish?
Rex: What, to want to do something with your life? No, I think it's being smart and really gutsy, Gige. I mean, college is hard. You're the hardest working person I know. You're going to be great at it.
Gigi: But it's really expensive. I mean, I should be socking away for Shane's education, not mine.
Rex: Let me worry about Shane.
Gigi: Well, that's not fair.
Rex: Don't talk to me about what's not fair. You had to raise him all by yourself.
Gigi: That's not your fault.
Rex: But it's what happened. You never got to go to college like you should have. I owe this to you, Morasco, okay? Besides, he's my son, too.
Gigi: I appreciate the offer. But I'm just so worried –
Rex: Hey, hey. I find Bennett Thompson for Kelly -- she's a reporter, she works for "The Sun" -- my business is going to take off, okay? You just worry about making the -- dean's list. I will worry about Shane's college fund.
Kelly: Hey. You sounded so frantic on the phone.
Jessica: I'm --
Kelly: What's going on?
Jessica: Are you alone? Because we need to speak privately.
Kelly: Yeah. Well, Blair is around, but she won't interrupt us. What's wrong?
Jessica: I'm pregnant.
Kelly: That's great. That's great.
Brody: I know you didn't want to keep a secret from your sister.
Natalie: Yeah, and neither did you. And now that's changed?
Brody: I think in this case, it's for the best. I mean, I don't want to hurt her, or throw her into some kind of relapse. Not now, not when she's just getting back to normal. Besides, I know what happened between you and me was a one-time thing. As far as we knew, we had both been dumped. And we never meant to hurt anybody. Anyway, I thought we agreed -- no harm, no foul.
Natalie: I know, Brody, but it's not that simple. There are consequences.
Brody: Like what?
John: Hey. You look pretty.
Natalie: Oh. Thanks. Hi. How'd you find me?
Brody: He's a detective?
John: Yeah, and I'm looking for your smart-ass pal here.
Natalie: Uh-huh. Well, you two need to talk, so --
John: All right. Just give us a couple minutes and then I want to hear all about your day.
John: Okay? What's he been up to?
Brody: Having a drink. You still don't trust him, do you?
John: Should I?
Rex: I should get going.
Gigi: Call me when you land so I know you're safe.
Rex: I'm dating a co-ed.
Gigi: Get out of here, Balsom.
John: Hey. Counselor -- congratulations.
Gigi: You just missed Rex.
Gigi: Natalie, what is up with you today?
Gigi: You look like you need a stiff drink.
Natalie: Yeah, that would be great.
Gigi: Whiskey water back, right?
Natalie: No, no, I -- can't.
Gigi: Why? Oh. You're pregnant?
Charlie: Okay, you ready? I got the suitcases in the foyer.
Viki: And I was just getting our passports.
Charlie: And have you figured out where we're going to go?
Viki: Oh, yes, indeed. I have made a secret reservation.
Charlie: Oh. As long as it's just you and me and a long stretch of beach, I'll be happy.
Viki: Actually, this place also comes with a beautiful moon.
Charlie: Oh. A little moonlight and you in my arms --
Charlie: You know something? Viki B, you are the best thing that ever happened to me.
Viki: Yes, that's absolutely right.
Charlie: Well -- come on. The sooner we get out of here, the sooner I get you all to myself.
Todd: I -- ah.
Téa: I'm glad you're here.
Todd: Where else would I be?
Téa: Mm-hmm. Hanging some poor doctor out the window by his tassels.
Todd: I wouldn't do that. Why don't you shut up and cuddle with me?
Téa: Why don't you make me? [Giggles]
Dani: You're right. I am my father's daughter. And he will give me all the money I need to help find my mother a cure.
Greg: Yeah, well, we all want a cure for your mother. I've spoken to experts at 3 different teaching hospitals and they all agree -- there is no cure.
Dani: Look, what about this guy?
Greg: Look, unfortunately, there are people out there -- opportunists -- that will try and take advantage of wealthy patients.
Dani: Yeah? And what if Matthew hadn't believed in you and his parents thought that you were an opportunist?
Greg: Danielle, I know that you want to help your mother, but there is nothing else I can do for her.
Dani: You're not the only doctor in the world. I helped Matthew, and I'm going to help my mother. And you? You can go to hell.
John: I -- I heard about you and Blair.
Eli: Ah. Yes. She's made me a very happy man. Or at least, she will. Anyway, if you'll excuse me, I really need to get going.
John: I thought you -- I thought you had an appointment or something. What, did you get stood up?
Eli: As a matter of fact, I did.
John: Ah. These new clients --
Eli: You don't honestly expect me to respond to that, do you, Detective? Good night. Thanks again.
Brody: What did he have to say?
John: Not much.
Brody: Well, if he's dirty, he'll make a mistake. They always do.
Gigi: I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said anything.
Natalie: No, it's okay. You're right, I'm pregnant.
Gigi: I take it you haven't told John?
Gigi: I won't say anything. You don't have to worry.
Natalie: [Whispering] I'm not sure if he's the father.
Kelly: Hey, that's great. That's great. Your mom's going to flip out. What did -- what did Brody say when you told him?
Jessica: I haven't told him yet.
Kelly: Why not, honey? Jess?
Jessica: I'm not sure he's the father.
