[Pop music playing]
Blair: Hey, Markko. Where is the party?
Markko: All around. And thank you so much for making it happen.
Blair: Well, it's fine, but I haven't seen Starr or Cole yet. Where are they?
Starr: This is Halloween. That's Jack and the one in the little rock outfit, that's Sam.
Matthew: They're both different kids.
Cole: Yeah, no kidding. Jack is always in your face. Trying to work an angle, you know.
Starr: You never know what he is going to say next.
Cole: And Sam's really quiet.
Starr: [Gasps] Oh, look. Here's an even better picture of them without their costumes. There you can really see them.
Dani: They're cute.
Starr: Thanks. You know, I have hard copies somewhere. I just didn't get a chance to unpack them.
Dani: No. It's okay.
Starr: No, I left some of them at Aunt Dorian's when we ran out.
Cole: Yeah, look, I'll find the prints.
Dani: Stop, okay? I mean, it's nice, they're cute kids, but... all I can think is that we're Todd Manning’s children.
Todd: We're getting no help from these people. 15 minutes.
Téa: Till what?
Todd: Till my PIs are supposed to call me back. If they haven't found Danielle by then, I'll step it up.
Téa: What does that mean?
Todd: Well, I know this private security firm and these guys ask all the right questions and they can also look internationally.
Téa: Todd, it hasn't come to that...
Todd: Are you absolutely positive of that? Really? Our daughter, who was able to sneak herself and a kid in a wheelchair out of England? You're positive she hasn't gotten on a plane?
Téa: Todd, I'm not the enemy.
Todd: No, that's me.
Téa: I think Rachel's onto something. She thinks Matthew was lying and she thinks Daniella's still with him.
Todd: Let's go see Bo and Nora.
Téa: Yeah, let's go.
Officer: All right, I'll start the paperwork.
Todd: Are they locking you up, John? I guess Lowell finally got something right.
Natalie: Every morning, before I wake up, it's like this tape that keeps running over and over again. All the ways that--that I could've stopped Mitch from killing Jared. And every morning, I save him. And then I open my eyes.
Marty: That's very natural. Very normal. It's easier for you to blame yourself than it would be to feel that it was beyond your control.
Natalie: And what about blaming other people?
Marty: Very common. That works, too.
Natalie: No. No, except it didn't. It didn't work. I mean, I blamed John because he didn't believe that Jared was innocent. I mean, I smacked him around a little. I went to his room and I just let him have it. And then I--and then I fell apart.
Natalie: Yeah. I was a mess.
Marty: Well, that's probably why you went to John. Not because you were mad at him but because you needed to grieve. And you felt safe with him. I mean, you two are very close, aren't you?
Natalie: Okay, this is weird. I mean, I'm John's ex and I'm going to therapy with his girlfriend? Does this work?
John: They had me arrested for assault. You want to know why?
John: Lowell had me arrested so Mitch Laurence could go after your niece Jessica.
Brody: Where's Jessica? Mosser. Hey, Jason, Jason, come on, man. Where is Jessica?
Jason: I don't know.
Brody: Stay with me. Hey. What happened?
Jason: I was watching Jessica on the phone and I felt something sharp.
Brody: Like a needle? Did you see anything else?
Brody: Jessica's gone!
Brody: Yes, ma'am. Is Jessica upstairs?
Viki: No, I don't think so. I left her here.
Viki: A few minutes ago. I went upstairs to make a--what's going on? What happened?
Brody: Officer Mosser was drugged and I found Jessica's cell phone and her purse. There's no way she'd leave these behind.
Viki: What are you saying? Somebody came in here and took her?
Brody: They must have been watching. They waited until Jessica was alone and they grabbed her.
Viki: It's gotta be Mitch.
Brody: Has to be. That letter was a trap and I fell right into it.
Viki: She told me about the letter. He wanted to meet her.
Brody: Mitch knew we'd never let her do that. Viki, he knew I'd go to the docks instead. He knew I'd leave Jessica here.
John: Yeah, Laurence set it up so Jessica would be alone and he had Lowell arrest me so I'd be out of the way.
Officer: I'll see what Lowell wants to do. Keep an eye on him, all right?
Second Officer: It's John.
First Officer: Doesn't matter.
Todd: Téa, what if Mitch took Danielle?
Téa: Why would Mitch Laurence want our daughter?
Marty: I can handle hearing about John from you. I wouldn't have suggested counseling if I didn't.
Marty: Are you uncomfortable talking about him?
Natalie: No. No, I mean, John-- John's great. He knows me so well. I mean, I definitely can't fool him. We were--we were close for a really long time.
Marty: Do you think about that now?
Natalie: What do you mean?
Marty: It's natural when a spouse dies. The loss, it's so hard to take in. And people tend to want to fill that space, you know, find a substitute. It's like a phantom spouse. And oftentimes, it's the children that takes on that role.
Natalie: But I don't have any children.
Natalie: So you think that I'm turning John into a phantom spouse?
Todd: Mitch came to see me the other day. He wanted help with Jessica.
Téa: Why would he think you would help him?
Todd: The sicko believed that I owe him something. I don't know. But he knew all about Danielle.
Téa: What? How?
Todd: I don't know. He just knew. He tried to bond with me because we both have daughters who don't understand us, so I kicked him out.
Téa: So this could be payback.
Dani: I'm sorry I'm being a bitch.
Starr: No, you're not.
Matthew: We get it.
Dani: You're all so nice and trying to make it okay, but it can't be. I mean, Todd Manning. How is that ever okay?
Starr: I grew up with him. I know a different guy than who you read about.
Cole: Nobody's saying it's not a big problem.
Starr: And look, there's just more. That's all. There's a whole family that's involved.
Dani: How does that work? Do you all get together? I don't want to be in the same room as Todd.
Cole: Well, for birthdays and holidays, we make it work.
Starr: My mom. She's the one that holds us all together.
Markko: Starr and Cole had, um, a thing come up.
Blair: What do you mean, a thing?
Markko: They can't be here.
Blair: Are you kidding me? Starr is not even gonna be here for her own 18th birthday? Something didn't happen to Hope, did it?
Markko: I asked. She's fine.
Blair: Well, then, what is it?
Markko: I don't know. Cole said that--that they were all all right but that it couldn't be helped. It sounded important.
Blair: Unbelievable. Well, is Langston here at least? Did she make it to the party?
Markko: Oh, yeah, yeah. She's here and she is definitely having a good time.
Ford: You're intense.
Langston: Not just me.
Langston: I can't--I can't do this.
Langston: I love Markko.
Ford: Then go.
Blair: So, where is Langston?
Markko: She's in the ladies room, but I can tell you she really appreciates everything you did, and so do I.
Blair: Well, that's great. So, did everybody come? All your friends?
Markko: Yeah. Yeah. Everybody came. I even invited that phony filmmaker.
Markko: His name is Ford. He lives with Cristian and Layla, so I thought it would be polite to ask. He's hanging out with them.
Starr: My mom's great at keeping the peace.
Cole: When she wants to.
Starr: She does want peace in the family, but I'm sure your mom didn't tell you that.
Dani: She didn't say anything about your mom.
Starr: They don't exactly get along.
Cole: That's an understatement.
Starr: Look, do you want to see a picture of my mom? That's her.
Dani: I know her.
Starr: You what?
Dani: She was with me in Seattle when my dad, my real dad--my--
Starr: You met my mom in Seattle?
Dani: She was amazing to me. You're the daughter. She said she had a girl a little older than me.
Starr: I guess that would be me.
Dani: She really loves you.
Starr: Your mom loves you, too, you know.
Dani: I guess.
Matthew: You know what? It's getting kind of late. My parents are probably gonna look for me. And I know your mom already is.
Matthew: We need a plan.
Dani: Can I stay with you?
Starr: Sure. Under one condition.
Markko: I'm going to go see what's taking Langston so long.
Markko: Why not?
Langston's voice: I can't stop thinking about Ford.
Blair: I'll just--I'll go get her, all right?
Ford: Go on. Go back to Markko.
Dani: Please, Starr. Tell your roommates I won't be any trouble.
Starr: Oh, no, that's not--
Dani: I'll sleep on the kitchen floor if I have to.
Cole: Look, we're fine with you being here.
Dani: Then what's the condition?
Starr: You have to call your mom and tell her that you're here.
Matthew: Come on, Starr. Give her a break.
Dani: I can't deal with them yet.
Matthew: I promised her you wouldn't make her call.
Starr: Don't make promises for me, Matthew. And I didn't say "them." I just said "her."
Dani: Like she'd come alone.
Matthew: Look, what if she just calls her mom and tells her that she's okay?
Dani: Yeah, then she knows I'm okay and she won't be worried.
Starr: She's still gonna go nuts looking for you.
Dani: Okay, then. No problem. Thanks anyway.
Starr: Dani, wait. Téa will not make you see Todd.
Dani: She'll tell him where I am and he'll, like, break down the door to get in here,
Cole: She knows your dad.
Starr: Trust me. Téa will make him stay away. You do not have to deal with Todd until you're ready, okay? Please. Call her.
Téa: Tell me everything Mitch said to you.
Todd: I don't remember word for word, but he offered to get rid of Cole if I'd help him with Jessica.
Téa: What did he mean "get rid of"?
Todd: Exactly what it sounded like. You know about this guy, don't you?
Téa: Did he threaten Daniella?
Todd: Not in so many words, but it's always there with Mitch.
Téa: John, do you think what Lowell and Mitch did tonight is about getting to Jessica?
Brody: All right, buddy. I got EMS on the way.
Viki: Bree's asleep. She's fine, thank God.
Brody: I spoke to Clint. We can get more security from B.E.
Viki: What about the police?
Brody: They're useless with Lowell in charge. He showed up at the docks with a couple of uniforms, just in time to protect Mitch and to arrest John and me.
Viki: So, how did you get here?
Brody: Well, John distracted them long enough for me to get away. The second Lowell showed up, I knew.
Viki: They were gonna arrest you and someone was gonna take Jessie.
Brody: We have to find her.
Viki: Look, I know he won't hurt her, okay? I know that. Because she's his daughter. We've got to get her back. Maybe John can help. Is there any chance he got away?
John: Laurence may want payback for what Todd's done.
Téa: So you're saying he might be after our girl?
John: Maybe. I think Laurence's first move tonight is gonna be--
Officer: Hey, who said you could talk?
Téa: No talking? In a squad room? Are you joking? Since when did that become a rule? Now, you may all be Lowell's goons, but I'm not taking crap from any of you.
Todd: Terrific. Where is she? All right, keep her there. Hey, hey. We have Dani. Come on, let's go.
Téa: You need a lawyer, call me.
Marty: It doesn't matter what I think. How does it feel to you?
Natalie: Everything has been a nightmare since Jared died. You think that I want to replace Jared with John?
Marty: It's not for me to say.
Natalie: Well, why not? You're the professional here.
Marty: It's more important for you to try to work your way through your own feelings.
Natalie: For John?
Marty: For your loss.
Natalie: Marty, I don't have to go looking for that pain. Why do you want to talk about John?
Marty: We've talked about a lot of things. We've talked about Jared. We've talked about your family. We've talked about Mitch for most of the session. It's your time.
Natalie: Yeah. Yeah, it is my time, but all I've said is that I gave a smack to John and--and you're saying that I want to make him my substitute husband.
Marty: That's not exactly what I said.
Natalie: Close enough.
Marty: You feel a loss. John is a rescuer.
Natalie: Uh-uh. No. No, no. John's your rescuer. That is your relationship with John.
Marty: We're not talking about me.
Natalie: Really? Are you sure about that, Marty? You know, I'm starting to wonder why were you so hot to want to counsel me in the first place. Marty, my husband just died and you think that I want to go out and steal your boyfriend? My God, you are a manipulative bitch.
[Cell phone rings]
Stan: Officer Lovett.
Stan: There's a title that goes with that, Officer.
Brody: Sir. What are you doing with John's phone, sir? Is he with you?
Stan: We're getting his cell ready now. You left a crime scene, Officer. You evaded arrest.
Brody: Where's Jessica?
Brody: Mitch had her kidnapped. Where'd he take her?
Stan: I have no idea what you're talking about. If you're looking for Jessica Buchanan, I'd try St. Ann's. She has a standing reservation.
Brody: John's in custody.
Viki: Fine. Let's go.
Brody: No, Viki, you should stay here.
Viki: No. We have to get Jessie back. I can't sit here and do nothing.
Brody: You know, wherever she is, Jessica will fight to get to a phone, and the first place she'll call is here.
Viki: Fine. Fine. I'll stay here. God, I hope she's all right.
Brody: She knows how to take care of herself now. You taught her that.
John: Hey, Stan, how's your kid? What's his name--Justin?
Stan: Do you want to chat with me?
John: Sure. You think your family's safe right now?
Stan: I heard a threat to the commissioner of police. How about you?
John: Oh, no, not by me. But you know, if you make the wrong move with Laurence, who do you think pays?
Stan: Make sure his cell is ready. Nobody is listening, McBain.
John: Look, what do you think happens when you've served your purpose for Laurence? You think he just lets you walk away?
Stan: I am doing my duty for the city of Llanview.
John: No matter what you do for him, it won't be enough, you know? Get down on your knees, you give him the keys to this city, it's not gonna change your fate. You're a snitch, Lowell. Laurence knows that. He can't let you live, because he knows you'll turn on him. So, what'd you get for being a stooge? Huh? A few months out of a cell? You get to put me away for a little while? Is that worth your life?
Officer: They're almost ready in holding.
Stan: I want McBain in leg irons. He tried to kill an innocent man on the docks tonight. He's dangerous.
Marty: That's a lot of anger.
Natalie: You think that I'm angry with you?
Natalie: This is ridiculous. You just want to keep tabs on John and me, so you pretend to be all professional but it's all bull.
Marty: Natalie, you're in crisis now.
Natalie: What? And that makes John want me? Look, the rescue thing, that's your thing. I don't need to be saved.
Marty: You stabbed Mitch Laurence and he covered for you. He already rescued you.
Natalie: I didn't ask him to do that. In fact, I tried to confess several times.
Marty: I know, I know, and he didn't want you to.
Natalie: No. No, because that's him.
Marty: It is.
Natalie: Fine. You got a problem with John, take it up with John.
Marty: I don't have a problem with John.
Natalie: Oh, but I do?
Marty: You said you don't want John to be your rescuer. Then perhaps you should stay away from him so you don't end up getting hurt.
Blair: You know, Markko was just about to come looking for you, Langston.
Ford: Uh, I think I'll go get a drink.
Blair: You do that. Is that Ford? I thought you were trying to stay away from him.
Langston: I was. I did. Markko invited him.
Blair: Oh, and you just happened to fall and land on his lips?
Markko: Hey, have you seen Langston?
Langston: He kissed me.
Blair: Well, did you kiss him back?
Langston: Yeah. Oh, what did I do?
Blair: Oh, Langston, it's okay.
Langston: No, it's not okay. I can't believe that I-- you're--you're not gonna tell Markko, are you?
Dani: I can't talk to my mom. Hey, Mom, tell me about my father, the rapist?
Starr: Can we not get into that now?
Starr: Look, I had all the same questions for my mom, too. How could you ever love a man like that?
Dani: What did she say?
Starr: That doesn't matter. You need to work this out with your mom.
Cole: But not tonight.
Matthew: Just call her and tell her that you're okay.
Starr: Don't make her suffer.
[Knocks on door]
Téa: Oh, thank God.
Natalie: Oh, okay. I got the message loud and clear.
Natalie: Stay away from John, or else.
Marty: That's what you heard?
Natalie: Cut the crap, Marty. Don't be all shrinky right now. You want me to stay away from John.
Marty: I want you to be careful so you don't get hurt by anyone right now. It's natural for you to want to find someone to take away your pain.
Natalie: As long as it's not your boyfriend.
Brody: You're joking.
John: Apparently, I'm dangerous.
Brody: Jessica is missing.
Stan: Officer Lovett, you're smart to turn yourself in.
Brody: I didn't do anything.
Stan: Mitch Laurence swears he was on the docks reading his bible when you and John McBain tried to kill him.
Brody: Where is Laurence?
Stan: I have no idea.
Brody: Where would he take Jessica?
Stan: Officer Lovett, do you have any idea what's going on here? The only reason you are not under arrest is that we can't embarrass this department with more than one rogue cop at a time.
Brody: I'm not a rogue cop.
Stan: Prove it.
Stan: Prove you can still do your job. Book McBain.
Marty: Sorry. This is my mistake. This is obviously not working.
Natalie: Well, that was never the plan, was it?
Marty: I'm gonna give you the name of another therapist, and she actually specializes in grief counseling, and I think she would be a big help.
Natalie: Like you were? Marty, you want to warn me away from John, go right ahead and do it, but don't you dare hide behind a white lab coat and a degree and act like it's for my own good. So, have the guts and just say it. That's what I thought.
Téa: Why didn't you call?
Starr: We were just getting into that.
Todd: Dani is okay. That's the important thing.
Téa: Well, can we come in?
Dani: No. Mom can, but not him.
Blair: Look. I'm not gonna tell Markko about that kiss, and neither should you.
Langston: It was two kisses.
Blair: Oh, Langston, you really better watch it.
Langston: I know. It's just--
Blair: You don't know what you're playing with. This is serious. Be careful.
Ford: Last time I saw the birthday girl, she was with you having a great time.
Markko: Yeah. We do.
Ford: Must be nice.
Markko: Hey. Whoa, is something wrong?
Langston: No. I'm just tired.
Markko: No. She's all partied out.
Langston: Tired. Yeah. Tired. Let's go.
Markko: Sure. Sounds perfect. Blair, thanks again for everything. It was a great party.
Langston: Yeah. Thanks for everything.
Blair: Well, you two go home and have a great night.
Ford: See you in film class, Rivera.
Blair: Not so fast, studly.
Téa: So, you looked up Todd on the internet, huh?
Téa: Oh, honey, I am so sorry. I never wanted you to find out that way.
Dani: What'd you have in mind?
Téa: We were going to tell you together.
Dani: Yeah, right. Could you imagine?
Matthew: It's probably better this way.
Cole: Yeah. It gave you more time. Hey, Matthew, you want to--
Cole: Yeah. That's--
Téa: I'm glad you have a friend here.
Dani: Me, too.
Todd: Danielle is pretty upset, huh?
Starr: She knows about you, Dad. She knows everything.
Téa: Whatever you want.
Dani: How? How could you love someone who did-- Dad broke some stuff, and you decided that he was so angry and dangerous that I had to go to school halfway across the world just to be safe, but you love a rapist. You want me to call a rapist dad?
Starr: Matthew brought her over here because he thought I could help.
Todd: I'm sure you can.
Starr: Not really. She wants to know how I could be your daughter after knowing all the stuff that you've done to Marty.
Todd: Could she-- did you help to make her understand?
Starr: No. I couldn't.
Todd: You accepted me after you heard, right?
Starr: Because I was your daughter before, you know...
Starr: And you were just Dad. You took me to scary movies. You bought me lizards. You kept me safe. You were the best man in the entire world to me.
Todd: Oh, please.
Starr: Well, I have years of that stuff, you know, before I learned all the bad things.
Todd: Yeah, and I guess Dani had all the time with someone else.
Starr: I just think you're gonna have to take it slow with her.
Todd: I'd like to, but there's this maniac on the loose.
Todd: Mitch Laurence. You didn't know about that? He's out there somewhere. I'm afraid he might come after--
Starr: Dad, don't worry about that. We're gonna be okay.
Todd: Yeah, but it's--
Starr: Don't push it, or you'll lose.
Téa: All I'm asking is that you give Todd a chance.
Dani: Because you love him? Why? How?
Téa: I want you to give Todd a chance because he is your biological father and I want you to have a relationship with him. Can you do that? Can you get to know him? Can you give him a chance?
Todd: I'm sorry this got thrown in your lap. It's certainly not how I pictured it.
Starr: Pictured what?
Todd: The family reunion. I wanted it to be a big surprise and all that.
Starr: It was definitely that, trust me.
Todd: Happy Birthday.
Starr: Just all part of being your daughter.
Todd: I wanted to do better for you on your 18th, though.
Starr: You gave me a sister.
Todd: Hmm, we'll see.
Starr: Hey, just give her a chance.
Dani: Don't ask me to give Todd a chance. Starr kept trying to say that he's this family man. She even showed me pictures of her brothers.
Téa: They're your brothers, too, your half-brothers, and they're great kids, honey.
Dani: I'm sure.
Téa: Oh, well, think about that for a while, huh? There's a whole other family. You always wanted brothers and sisters.
Dani: Yeah. That part is nice. Is he still out there?
Dani: Go. If you stay here, he'll just come in here. Just please--
Téa: Well, how about this? Todd leaves, and you and I go back to Rachel's or the Palace, wherever you want. We won't have to see him, I promise.
Téa: Well, it'll just be you and I, okay? Just--
Dani: Yeah, but, Mom, I can't hang out with you when you're, like, working on me.
Téa: I wouldn't be.
Dani: You hover.
Téa: I would be...hovering.
Dani: Just let me stay here.
Téa: It's too much to ask.
Starr: No. I offered.
Cole: Yeah. We're fine with it.
Dani: It's my family, right, my sister? I have a niece.
Téa: Are you all sure?
Starr: We're positive.
Téa: Oh, okay. Thank you, and thank you for bringing her here.
Matthew: No problem.
Téa: All right. Thanks, guys. Hey, call me, okay? All right. Call me and sleep well.
Starr: It's gonna be okay.
Todd: What's the deal?
Téa: Dani wants to stay here with Starr, with her sister, I guess.
Viki: Natalie? Oh, thank God you're all right.
Natalie: Yeah. I'm sorry I couldn't pick up. I was in a meeting. So, what's going on?
Viki: It looks like Mitch has kidnapped Jessica.
Natalie: Damn it!
Viki: They lured Brody away, and then the guard outside was drugged, and somebody came in here and took her.
Natalie: Well, what are we doing?
Viki: Well, John is under arrest, and Brody is at the police station.
Viki: I know. The whole thing is just insane.
Natalie: No, no. It makes perfect sense to that creep Lowell and Mitch. So, the cops actually went along with arresting John?
Viki: Yeah. Apparently, they did.
Natalie: Wow, this is not a good sign. This is not a good sign at all. That means that the cops will do anything that Lowell says.
Viki: Yeah, and the commissioner is not gonna lift a finger to help us find Jessica, not even if I make a stink about it.
Natalie: John will. No matter what they do to him, John'll help us.
Brody: Mitch say anything about where he was going or where he might have taken Jessica?
John: I didn't hear much. They dragged me away pretty quick.
Brody: I can't believe I let him bait me.
John: Still have the letter he sent Jessica?
John: You know, there's got to be something in it, you know--a fingerprint, a fiber, a smudge, something.
Brody: Yeah. Well, we can't trust the lab here anymore.
John: I know a guy from the bureau. His name is Vince Shelton, all right? He's got a lab in Philly.
Brody: Sign here.
John: There you go. Get him the letter. If there's anything there, he'll find it.
Brody: And then we'll find Jessica.
Natalie: I'm gonna head over to the police station. You gonna be okay?
Viki: Yeah. I have to stay here and look after Bree and be here in case Jessie calls.
Natalie: I just hate leaving you here alone. Where's Charlie?
Viki: He's out.
Viki: Yeah. Not now, honey.
Natalie: Mom, Mom, if something is going on, you've got to talk to me.
Viki: No, not now, okay? Important thing is, we've got to get Jessica back home, so you need to tell me if John or Brody have found out anything at all.
Natalie: Wouldn't they call?
Viki: No, not if Lowell is watching them, honey.
Natalie: My God, it's like we're living in an occupied country. This is insane.
Viki: I know, but it can't last, you know? We'll get everybody home.
Natalie: I love you.
Stan: Lovett, did you finish that report?
Brody: Yes, sir. I'm on my way to file it right now.
Stan: Good, and when you're done, you can turn in your shield and your gun.
Stan: I may not want to arrest you, but you're off the force.
[Cell phone rings]
Stan: Oh, ha ha ha! It's your girlfriend. Hello, Dr. Saybrooke.
Marty: Uh, hello. I'm sorry. I thought that I dialed--
Stan: John McBain? You did. This is Commissioner Lowell.
Marty: Why do you have his phone? Where is he?
Stan: I'm afraid your boyfriend is indisposed.
Blair: So, what's up with you and Langston?
Ford: Maybe you should ask her.
Blair: Oh, I did. She's a sweet girl who really loves her boyfriend.
Ford: Yeah. I respect Langston. She knows what she wants. I could tell by the way she kissed me.
Markko: Hey, Happy Birthday.
Starr: Oh, thank you. How was it?
Langston: It was great.
Markko: You were missed.
Cole: Starr's mom mad?
Markko: A little. I mean, more curious. What's up?
Cole: It's kind of a big day.
Langston: Hey, Matthew.
Langston: Guys, what's going on?
Starr: Come on in. Come on. Danielle. Langston, Markko, this is Danielle. She's my sister.
Blair: You know, you may have fooled all these little high-school girls, but I can smell you a mile away.
Ford: Hmm, excuse me.
Blair: You're not interested in little girls, are you?
Ford: Langston isn't a little girl.
Blair: Is that what you want, a relationship, grown-up, with Langston?
Ford: Sure. Why not?
Blair: You want a relationship with Langston?
Ford: I could be persuaded to go another way.
Blair: Hmm, yeah. That's real clear. You don't give a damn about Langston. You're just a sleazy, little player.
Natalie: You son of a bitch! You let that monster take my sister.
Natalie: No. You let that sick freak take her to God only knows where.
Brody: Natalie, don't.
Natalie: No. You know where Jessica is, don't you? You know.
Stan: I have no idea where your very troubled sister might be. As far as we know, she could be stealing another baby.
John: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, hey, whoa, ho, easy.
[Knocks on door]
Starr: Go, go, go. Go, go. I'll get it.
Matthew: Dude, just--come on.
Téa: Hey, um, I brought some things over. I didn't know if you had any extra bedding, so I brought that, too.
Viki: Oh. Oh.
Todd: Not who you were expecting.
Viki: No. I was hoping.
Todd: Yeah. Me, too. When that didn't help, I figured maybe you could.
Téa: I guess a good-night hug would be too much to ask, huh?
Starr: Not from me. She's okay here.
Téa: Oh, you are such an adult.
Starr: As of today.
Téa: Happy Birthday. Oh, you should've had a party.
Starr: There was one. It was at Capricorn.
Téa: And you missed it.
Starr: Yeah, but I'm glad that I was here.
Téa: Me, too. Me, too. Oh...
Ford: Felt to me like you liked it.
Blair: You just stay away from Langston, little boy.
Ford: What are you, her mother?
Blair: No. I'm not her mother, but I'm the closest thing that she has, and I'm watching you. You hurt Langston, and I will hurt you.
Langston: Not yet. Um, I want to hang out with Starr and her sister. Don't you?
Markko: Uh, no.
Langston: Well, I won't be long.
Markko: All right. I'll be waiting.
Starr: Ha ha ha!
Matthew: Oh! Oh!
Starr: Ha ha! I beat you.
Matthew: Oh, I'm sorry.
Starr: What? I beat you. What are you talking about? Ha ha ha! You would think--I know.
Todd: Yeah. I'm sure you'll hear soon, right?
Viki: Yeah. We'll find her.
Todd: They always find you, right? Natalie found you.
Viki: Yes. Natalie found me... to take me to the cleaners, remember?
Todd: Yeah. Things can change, though. Things can always change, right?
Viki: Why? What's wrong?
Todd: Uh... that's my daughter.
Todd: Téa and I-- Téa and I have a daughter together, Viki, and she just found out all about me, and I don't know what to do. I’m afraid I'm gonna lose her.
Natalie: How could you say that about Jessica? She's a good person, and she doesn't deserve any crap from you. I'm busting you out of here. Be ready.
