Episode # 10561 ~ The Banks Bailout
Proofread By Kathy
Jessica: Jared, we were -- we were worried about you? Are you okay? What are you doing?
Viki: Hello, little angel. It's your birthday. Happy birthday, sweetheart.
Starr: Oh, are you ready, Hope? You're gonna make a wish and then blow out the candle.
Blair: I think she's gonna need a little help.
Todd: No way. Have you ever heard this kid wail?
Starr: Oh! All right, you ready? 1, 2 -- ah!
Jack: I wanted to make sure she got her wish.
Todd: Hope's gonna end up with a Z-box now.
Cole: If she can play with the box, she'll be happy.
Blair: Oh, yeah. Okay, it's official. She is one year old today, so you know what we're gonna do? We're gonna party!
Amelia: The polls just closed.
Dorian: Oh, that's wonderful. We'll soon have something else to celebrate: My victory over Viki.
Viki: Your mommy asked me to bring you these. She misses you so much. Good heavens, what are you doing here?
Marcie: Do you think I could stay away today?
Viki: Oh, Marcie. Oh.
Schuyler: Whoa! Whoa. I got you. I got you.
Gigi: Schuyler, can you take me home, please? Take me home.
Schuyler: Uh, yeah. That's probably best for all concerned.
Gigi: I can't -- I can't stay here
Schuyler: I know. I know. You just -- hold on a second, okay? I'm gonna call you a cab.
Gigi: Uh, can't you drive me?
Schuyler: I -- I get off at 11:00, Gigi.
Gigi: Please, I don't want to be alone.
Brody: Rex? Rex, you okay?
John: Everything okay? You seem a little flustered.
John: Brody. How could you hold out on me like that?
Brody: Rex is back there, too. He's out cold, but his pulse is strong.
John: How about you? You okay?
Brody: Yeah. Whatever they drugged us with, it just knocks you out for a while.
John: You drugged your own brother.
Brody: Yeah. Put it in my coffee. Why'd you do it, Nadine?
John: To keep you from getting to Jessica.
Jared: How did you know I was here?
Jessica: I didn't. Nash told me to come. But I didn't come here with Nash, right? It was you, wasn't it?
Jared: Yes, it was me.
Viki: Oh, Marcie, Gigi and I have missed you so much.
Marcie: I've missed you, too.
Viki: And I guess that's not all I've missed.
Marcie: Ha ha! No. 7 1/2 months pregnant.
Marcie: Yeah. We're both doing great.
Viki: It's a miracle.
Marcie: Yeah. Part of me still can't believe it.
Marcie: But that's why I wanted to be here today.
Viki: For Chloe?
Marcie: Of course. A year ago today, we said good-bye to her.
Viki: You know something, Marcie. You were one of the few people who ever saw her. I'm awfully glad you were with her.
Marcie: Well, I wanted to -- wanted her to know her life meant something, it mattered.
Viki: Oh, God.
Marcie: She may not have been the baby that I was gonna adopt, but she still mattered to me. She mattered to so many people.
Viki: Oh, she did.
Marcie: You know, in a strange way, I kind of have her to thank for this.
Viki: I guess you do because if you and Michael hadn't grieved together --
Marcie: Yeah, we may not have ever gotten back together.
Viki: Oh, my goodness.
Marcie: Ha ha!
Viki: Okay, so, how do you like Seattle?
Marcie: We love it.
Viki: Oh, you do?
Marcie: Yeah, we do. And we actually just started house hunting.
Viki: Oh, you mean there's no way to get you back here to Llanview?
Marcie: Oh, maybe not.
Marcie: But I did also come back because I'm still registered to vote here, and I'm happy to report that I got back in time to vote for you for mayor.
Viki: Ha ha!
Dorian: Have the returns started to come in?
Amelia: Zero precincts reporting. This may take a while.
Dorian: Well, then, it is Hope's birthday, and maybe we should just, um, mute.
Langston: I really hope Dorian wins.
Markko: Yeah, I know. I know you do.
Langston: So you never told me who you voted for.
Markko: That's right. I didn't.
Todd: Hey, Dorian, why don't you introduce me to your missus?
Amelia: Amelia Bennett.
Dorian: You do not have to talk to this jackass.
Amelia: Now, sweetheart, I'm sure Mr. Manning just wants to get to know me.
Dorian: Of course, sweetheart.
Todd: Okay, so which one of you two is the groom, anyway?
Amelia: Have you ever rented a movie at a motel room?
Todd: Aw, yeah, baby.
Amelia: It's nothing like that.
Marty: It's a child's birthday party, just keep in mind.
Todd: I'm just trying to get to know my guest.
Amelia: Oh, don't worry. I'm sure I know everything I need to about you.
Blair: Hey, I got her. Let's go see...
Cole: Uh, it's, uh, kind of unbelievable, huh?
Starr: I know. Only Hope could get a group like this together in one room.
Langston: Well, a year ago today we thought there was no hope. I mean, how could this day not bring us all together?
Blair: Well, Langston, I couldn't have said it better myself.
Starr: All right, now, everyone together.
Blair: Look at Mommy! Starr; smile! 1, 2, 3! Cheese!
Schuyler: Look, I know you're upset about seeing the sonogram thing.
Gigi: What, this? [Scoffs] You can't even tell it's a baby. Who do you think the little nipper looks like, my slut sister?
Schuyler: Gigi, don't do that.
Gigi: I don't even know if it looks like Rex. It's been so long since I've seen him I barely remember what he looks like.
Schuyler: Okay, I'm gonna get you out of here.
Gigi: I don't want to be alone.
Schuyler: Where's Shane?
Gigi: I told you, he's with Moe and Noelle. They're --
Schuyler: No. I -- yeah. I know that. At their place or your place?
Gigi: Mine, of course. Of course. I would never do anything inappropriate.
Schuyler: Okay, okay, I don't want Shane to see you like this.
Gigi: Me either.
Schuyler: All right, so maybe we can just -- maybe we can hang out in John's back office or something like that for a little --
Gigi: I don't want to stay here.
Schuyler: Well, where do you suggest we go?
Gigi: Let's go to your place.
John: Local PD's on the way, and we got an EMT for Rex. He's still not coming around. What'd you give him?
Corrine: Just something to make him sleep.
Brody: What's the matter with you? You’re Rex's aunt. How could you do this to him?
Corrine: He'll be fine.
Brody: And why did you team up with this one?
Nadine: Nice way to talk about your own sister.
Brody: You two wanted us out of the way; you needed us out of the way, why? I need to talk to Jessica. Do you -- do you know if she's all right?
Jessica: You called me. You told me to come here.
Jared: No, no. Wait.
Jessica: You sounded like Nash. How did you sound like Nash?
Jared: Wait. I didn't call you.
Jessica: Well, you just said it was you.
Jared: There was trouble.
Jessica: Wha --
Jared: Yes. Someone's stalking you.
Jared: I figured Natalie told you.
Jessica: That you were stalking me?
Jared: It wasn't me. It was because of me. Wayne Landers was the one doing this.
Jessica: So you didn't make any calls?
Jessica: And you didn't tell me to come here?
Jessica: You're a liar. You lied the whole time, pretended to take care of me, but really you've been using my memories to hurt me.
Jared: Listen --
Jessica: No! I'm not listening. I'm going home to my daughter. I'm getting the hell out of here.
Jared: Jessica, sorry. I can't let you do that.
Brody: You are up to your ass, Nadine. Your best bet is to tell us what's going on.
Nadine: Okay, someone made me call you, get you to come here.
John: We need a name, Nadine.
Jessica: What are you gonna do to me?
Jared: Okay, I just need you to listen.
Jessica: To what?
Jared: What happened the night I got to the lodge. Pamela Stuart --
Jessica: You killed her.
Jessica: And you killed the guy that was pretending to be Nash.
Jared: I didn't kill anyone.
Jessica: Then why won't you let me go?
Jared: Ju --
Jessica: Oh, my God. What did you do to Natalie?
Markko: I got you a root beer. It's your favorite, right?
Markko: Come on, are you gonna stay mad at me forever?
Langston: I'm considering it.
Markko: Just because I won't say who I voted for?
Langston: I don't care who you voted for.
Markko: Then why are you mad?
Langston: Because we're a couple. We're supposed to tell each other everything.
Markko: So you wouldn't be upset if I voted for Mrs. Banks?
Langston: Of course not.
Markko: Good. Uh...I mean, I totally voted for Dorian.
Langston: You did?
Markko: Are you kidding me?
Langston: Oh, I knew it! I knew you couldn't vote against my mother.
Blair: Look at you. I didn't think it was possible.
Blair: You actually look like you're having a good time.
Todd: Sure. I decided to take your advice.
Blair: When did I ever say anything that was...wise?
Todd: Well, you told me to focus on what I do have and not what Téa tried to take from me.
Blair: Oh, yeah?
Blair: It's Todd. Téa has a child with Todd.
Todd: You all right?
Blair: Yeah. I'm -- I'm fine.
Todd: Good, 'cause that one's got a dirty diaper. I think you should...
Blair: Oh, well, I think it's time for you to take it on.
Todd: Oh, that's -- hey, Jack, Jack, you want to make some money?
Blair: Ha ha!
Marty: How do you do it?
Blair: You're not gonna start with me.
Marty: How do you watch him with that baby knowing you're keeping him from his own child?
Blair: It's, uh, not my decision, and it's not yours either.
Marty: Another lecture on patient/doctor confidentiality?
Blair: Uh-huh. It's Téa's decision, all right? She's the one that doesn't want Todd to know.
Marty: You sure about that?
Blair: Yes. I was there when he confronted her about a big secret. Yeah. And she let him think that it was all about her and Ross stealing his money.
Marty: Yeah, because you'd already told Todd that that's what Téa told you.
Blair: This is none of your business, you got it, Marty?
Marty: Yeah, but it is Todd's business.
Todd: Hey, hey, hey. Do I have to remind you two this is a party?
Blair: Oh, everything's good, Todd.
Todd: What's going on?
Marty: There's something I need to tell you. It's about your child.
Schuyler: Hey, ready?
Gigi: Time to go.
Schuyler: Okay, okay. Uh, you know, I got to warn you. My place, it's a little messy.
Gigi: I don't care.
Schuyler: Haven't -- don't have a lot of company.
Gigi: I said I don't care!
Schuyler: Gigi, are you sure -- are you sure you don't want to call Rex?
Gigi: I already left him a ton of messages.
Schuyler: Okay. Okay, but listen, if Rex comes home early and you're not there --
Gigi: He doesn't care about me, okay? He's got way more important stuff on his mind.
John: Who are you working for?
Nadine: I don't know.
Brody: Don't give me that. You said someone had you two get Rex and me here.
Nadine: It was just a voice on the phone.
Brody: You did all this for a stranger? You told me you were in trouble, you said you needed me.
Nadine: I know what I said. He offered me money.
Nadine: This house is in foreclosure! I needed it! That much was true.
Brody: You kept me from going back to Jessica.
Nadine: I didn't --
Brody: You drugged me for money?
Nadine: I didn't want to, but he said you had to stay.
John: Wait a minute. You're saying you never saw the person you were dealing with?
Nadine: No, never.
John: How'd you get the money?
Nadine: It was deposited into my account as soon as Brody showed up.
John: All of it?
Nadine: No. Half. I'd get the rest if Brody stayed here all week.
Brody: Ha ha!
John: What about you?
Corrine: Someone called me.
John: Same deal, half up front?
Corrine: I didn't need the money. He scared me.
Brody: He threatened you?
Corrine: Well, no, not exactly.
John: Either of you happen to tape this conversation?
Corrine: I didn't.
Brody: And you never -- you only talked to him on the phone; you never saw his face? The guy had to be watching this place if he knew I was here.
John: Well, unless he had someone reporting back. Either of you recognize this man?
Jared: I didn't do anything to Natalie.
Jessica: Stop lying.
Jared: Look, I haven't talked to her since I left Llanview because I don't want her involved in this.
Jessica: But she knew you were at that motel.
Jared: What motel?
Jessica: Well, she wouldn't have gone there if she didn't know that you were there.
Jared: Wh -- Jessica, where is she?
Jessica: Well, you know where she is. I was with her when -- when you sent her that text message.
Jared: Wait, what text -- wait. She said she got a text message from me?
Jessica: No, but as soon as she got it -- when she left, you showed up.
Jared: Jessica, are you saying she's here? Are you saying --
Jessica: You planned it, Jared!
Jessica: Where is she? Where is Natalie?
Jared: I don't know, but I've got to find her! What -- what are you doing?
Jessica: I'm calling the police.
Jared: No, y --
Jared: Okay, listen to me. If the police come within one inch of this place, Natalie could die!
Jack: See? It just turned blue.
Dorian: Oh, dear, that means Viki's taken the third district.
Jack: But that one's red.
Amelia: That's your Aunt Dorian's. The numbers are almost identical.
Dorian: Yes! Ha ha! You see, Viki and I are now Even Steven.
Marty: It's about your child... and mine. It's Cole and Starr.
Todd: Well, what? I didn't do anything to them.
Marty: No, no, not lately, no.
Todd: So what's the problem?
Marty: Well, Hope's birthday is an anniversary for me, too. A year ago tomorrow, my son found out that I was still in his life. It's an important thing for a child to know his or her parent is there, watching out for them. And I know we've reached a kind of detente, but if I find you even thinking about coming between Starr and Cole, I will be watching.
Todd: Relax, Marty. Enough people hate me already. I'm not gonna add Starr to the list.
Marty: And I do know that you love your children more than anything in the world.
Marty: Yeah. Well, of course Blair knows that, too.
Todd: That was really weird.
Cole: Is everything okay?
Starr: What do you think she wished for?
Cole: Uh, I don't know. Maybe some wings for her stroller. Or all the icing she can eat.
Starr: Do you think she even knows it's her birthday?
Cole: Probably not. Ever since we got her back, we act like every day's her birthday.
Starr: When she was born, I made a wish for her. Remember how awful it was that night?
Cole: I don't like to think about it.
Starr: Me either. I thought that we had lost her forever and I thought that I had lost you forever.
Cole: Well, I never left you, not really.
Starr: My wish came true.
Cole: We're together now. You, me, and our baby.
Starr: Ha. And that, that's forever.
Marcie: Today's Hope's birthday, too.
Viki: I know. You know, Marcie, what you did, giving that baby back to Starr and Cole --
Marcie: It was the right thing to do.
Viki: It was an extraordinary act.
Marcie: Starr had changed. She wasn't that scared little girl anymore who didn't want to raise her own child. You know, all I care about is what's best for Hope.
Viki: Yeah, well, then I expect you'll be pleased to know that child is so happy, so spoiled, and so healthy.
Marcie: I knew her parents would see to that.
Viki: Yeah. Absolutely. It's kind of nice, you know, the wonderful things in our lives to help us deal with the tragedies.
Marcie: Mmm. You have a lot to be happy about.
Marcie: I'm so sorry I missed your wedding, but I couldn't reschedule my amnio.
Viki: Well, that doesn't matter. It's all right -- everything's all right, though, right?
Marcie: Oh, yeah.
Viki: Well, that's all that matters, but you know Moe and Noelle, Gigi, none of them made it.
Viki: Nope. It's okay. The Bon-Jour was there in spirit.
Marcie: Well, it had to be because that's where you and Charlie first fell in love. Oh, I tell you, I never thought I would wind up in a diner in Paris, Texas.
Viki: Ha ha! Neither did I.
Marcie: Ha ha! I think that was one of the worst times of my life.
Marcie: But I did meet these amazing women.
Viki: Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. I think it was like a time out of time for all of us.
Marcie: Yeah. You know what, though? Look at us now.
Viki: I know. You and Michael, happy and having a baby.
Marcie: Ha ha! And you and Charlie found out that love at first sight, it exists.
Viki: It does. And Moe and Noelle finally realized that they were meant for each other.
Marcie: Yeah, and Gigi reconnected with the love of her life.
Gigi: Woo! Ha ha!
Schuyler: Okay, all right. Here we are. Just stay.
Schuyler: Stay. Okay. Just need...keys. You okay?
Gigi: Never better.
Schuyler: I wish I could say the same. Nope. No, no, no.
Gigi: Oh. Oh! You got anything to drink?
Schuyler: Uh, coffee.
Gigi: Anything else?
Schuyler: Gigi, I don't have any alcohol.
Gigi: Oh. Oh! Oh, my! I'm sorry! Sorry!
Schuyler: That's okay, it's okay. Coffee's, uh, coffee's instant, but since you just need it for the caffeine...
Gigi: I don't need coffee.
Gigi: All I need is you.
Corrine: I-I don't recognize him.
Nadine: Me neither.
John: Okay. How about these two?
Corrine: Mmm, I don't think so.
John: No? All right. Does the name Pamela Stuart, Wayne Landers mean anything to you?
Nadine: No. Sorry.
Corrine: Uh-uh. Never heard of them before.
John: You sure?
Corrine: We're trying to operate, Detective.
John: Okay. Last one. You recognize this guy?
Jessica: Are you gonna kill me?
Jessica: You said -- you said if I called the police that Natalie could die.
Jared: Jessica, no, I didn't mean --
Jessica: You want to get rid of both of us?
Jared: Okay, I don't have time. I've got to find Natalie.
Starr: What's this? Is this what Aunt Viki sent you? Num num num.
Dorian: Aunt Viki sent her something. Num num num.
Starr: Ooh! Look! Oh, look. What's that? It's a book of promises. Ooh!
Dorian: Probably set Viki back a buck 50 plus shipping and handling.
Starr: Here, Mommy will read it to you. Aunt Viki promises to take you to the "Nutcracker." Oh, yay! She promises you unlimited visits to the Reptile House.
Todd: That's more like it.
Blair: Yeah, we can all go to that.
Todd: Yeah. Take you and him.
Starr: Oh, no, after this, "I promise to love you forever." That's very sweet.
Dorian: Really. Like anybody is gonna fall for that.
Amelia: The book?
Dorian: Yeah, the book of promises, like she's gonna keep her promises to that child the way she's kept her promises to the people of Llanview.
Amelia: But you would. You already did.
Dorian: Yes, that's right, and I meant what I said, at that commitment ceremony of all those same-gender couples, and as soon as I'm made mayor, I am gonna make all those marriages legal.
Amelia: Well, whatever happens with the election, I want to thank you.
Dorian: For what?
Amelia: For trusting me, for not backing down from making a bold statement, but most of all for caring for your fellow men...and women.
Dorian: I meant that. And what do you mean, whatever happens? I'm going to win this election. Yeah!
Jack: The race for mayor is a pick 'em, but I can give you even money on the chalk.
Markko: All right, I'll put in on the action.
Jack: So which horse?
Markko: Dorian. All the way.
Jack: Okay. Excuse me.
Jack: How about you?
Cole: What, you taking bets on the election?
Jack: Don't worry. I got you covered. No odds. It's a money line bet.
Starr: Hmm, it looks like you got bored with little league.
Jack: So which horse do you like?
Cole: [Whispering] Keep it all.
Starr: You won't tell me? Ha ha!
Marty: So, uh, who'd you bet on?
Cole: Oh, no. That's between me and my bookie.
Marty: Ah, well, if I weren't worried about contributing to the conviction of a minor, I would be putting a bundle on -- a bundle on Viki.
Marcie: I have read in the newspaper about Jared.
Viki: So you know?
Viki: The police are looking for him, you know. He's wanted for murder. Marcie: I can't even imagine what that's doing to Natalie and Charlie.
Viki: It's just awful. It's awful. And on top of that, Jessica has been getting phone calls from somebody who's claiming to be Nash.
Marcie: That's impossible.
Brody: Are you saying you think Nash could be alive?
John: No, but this all started with Jessica thinking she saw him.
Brody: Right, because Jared's old prison buddy pretended that he was Nash.
John: And the buddy's dead now.
Brody: Jessica's still getting phone calls that sound exactly like Nash, which is why I wanted to get home which is when Nadine decided to drug me.
Rex: What the hell?
Schuyler: O-okay. Coffee. Coffee.
Gigi: Forget the coffee.
Schuyler: It helps you think more clearly, okay?
Gigi: I don't want to think more clearly.
Schuyler: I do. I do.
Gigi: All I'll think about is... Stacy and the baby and that Rex left for who knows where.
Schuyler: Gigi, he had a case. His aunt was sick.
Gigi: Do you know what his Aunt Corrine told me tonight?
Gigi: She says she isn't really sick, and that Rex told her that he needed a break. A break from me.
Schuyler: Ah, Gigi, I'm sure that's not how it is.
Gigi: I don't want to think about Rex. I don't want to sober up. I want to stay just like this.
Schuyler: Yeah, you want to stay drunk so you can come on to me.
Gigi: That's not why I'm coming on to you.
Corrine: I don't recognize him either.
John: You're sure?
Nadine: Look, we're trying to help.
Brody: I need to call Jessica. My phone.
Nadine: Oh, sorry.
Brody: Jessica's called more than once.
John: Did she leave a message?
Brody: Nope. Weird.
Brody: Straight to voicemail.
John: She turned it off.
Brody: She never turns off her phone in case something happens with Bree. She's always available.
Jessica: I'm not gonna let you hurt Natalie.
Jared: That's just what's gonna happen if you --
Jessica: Not if they get here fast enough!
Jared: We don't have time for this! You have to come with me!
Jessica: I am not going anywhere with you!
Jessica: Oh, my God. Jared?
John: Natalie was chasing leads with Rex, but now we got Rex here and now Natalie's gone.
Rex: I know where she is.
John: How you doing, man? You all right?
Rex: I'm fine.
Rex: Feel like I got hit by a truck! But other than that...
Corrine: I didn't want to hurt you, Rex.
John: You said you know where Natalie is.
Rex: I left her in California. With Jessica.
Brody: Are you -- are you kidding me? What is Jessica doing in California?
Viki: Well, of course it's not Nash. I mean, it's not possible.
Marcie: No. But anybody who would do something like that...
Viki: Yes, I know, I know.
Marcie: Well, do you have any idea?
Viki: No. John is investigating.
Marcie: Then you're in good hands.
Viki: I know that eventually he will get to the bottom of this and bring Jared home.
Marcie: You always believed in Jared.
Marcie: Are you afraid you were wrong about him, though?
Viki: No. God, I hope not, Marcie. I mean, he's Charlie's son. And on top of that, my girls have been through so much already.
Marcie: But they've gotten through it.
Viki: Yeah, they have, haven't they? They have.
Marcie: Yeah, they have because they have you.
Viki: Oh! Oh, no.
Viki: Let's not talk about me. Let's talk about you.
Marcie: Ha ha!
Viki: How long are you staying?
Marcie: Oh, just for the night.
Viki: Are you kidding?
Marcie: No. But I do have one more stop to make before I go back to Seattle, but I want you to know that I am so happy I had a chance to see you.
Viki: Oh, me, too. Oh, my goodness. Now, listen...
Viki: As soon as that baby is born, I want pictures. Please?
Marcie: That is a promise.
Viki: Oh, good.
Marcie: It was good seeing you.
Viki: You, too.
Marcie: Okay. Bye, Chloe. Peace.
Blair: [Ahem] Ah, Nathan Detroit. Wow. Look at this. Okay, go pack up and get ready to go over to Dad's.
Jack: But I don't know what horse won yet.
Todd: Ha ha! I wouldn't let the old nag hear you say that.
Blair: Oh. No. He'll explain it to you on the way home. Go.
Jack: But what about the 23rd district?
Todd: Just get your stuff together. Now.
Todd: We still do the good cop, bad cop routine pretty well, don't we?
Blair: We make a good team.
Dorian: Ah. The suspense is killing me.
Amelia: They're still waiting for the 23rd to come in.
Dorian: Well, I shouldn't have any trouble with that. I'm huge in the 23rd.
Markko: Hey, dude, I need to talk to you.
Cole: [Ahem] What's up?
Markko: I just lied to Langston. I've never lied to her before, ever. At least not on purpose.
Cole: Okay, what'd you lie about?
Markko: Well, I told her I voted for her mother, but I didn't. I voted for Mrs. Banks.
Markko: Dude, it's not funny.
Cole: Okay, relax. It's not like she's gonna find out.
Markko: Trust me; she has like a sixth sense about these things. She'll figure it out.
[Starr and Hope baby talking]
Cole: Okay, well, just tell her someday when it doesn't matter.
Markko: Like when? Like after the election's over?
Cole: Oh, trust me, after tonight, none of this is gonna matter.
Markko: You're right. You're right. It's not like my one vote is gonna decide anything.
Newscaster: This is the closest election I've seen since Florida 2000. From now on, every vote counts.
John: The clerk knew where you and Natalie went?
Rex: Yeah. He said that Jared had been there and that he used the clerk's computer to get directions to Napa.
Brody: And someone called Jess and told her to go to Napa?
Rex: Someone who sounded just like Nash.
John: So what made the clerk lie to me?
Brody: Same someone who had Nadine and Corrine keep Rex and me here.
Rex: Look, I never would have left Napa if Natalie hadn't called you first.
John: Natalie never called me.
Rex: What? She told me she --
John: She played you.
Brody: Whoever's doing all this, Jess and Natalie are playing right into his hands.
John: Yeah, give me the Napa PD.
Rex: Give me my phone.
Corrine: I am so sorry --
Rex: I don't have time for this! Ow.
Rex: I got to call Gigi. She's probably worried about me.
Gigi: I think about you...a lot.
Schuyler: Okay, you know what? I know that you're really upset with Rex right now, so --
Gigi: No. It's not that.
Gigi: It's not -- it's not just that.
Gigi: Schuyler, you're always there for me, and you know that...which is a whole lot more than I can say for Rex.
Schuyler: Yeah. Rex, right.
Gigi: Which -- which he still hasn't called. I bet he's still on his break. Doesn't matter.
Schuyler: Okay, all right, Gigi, Gigi...
Gigi: It doesn't matter.
Schuyler: I know. Listen to me. Listen to me. I think you've had a lot to drink, and I think maybe you should lie down. No, no. No, no, no. No. To sleep, to sleep.
Gigi: I'm not tired.
Schuyler: Okay, all right, well, you know what? We'll sit and we'll talk, then.
Gigi: Or we can do something else.
Rex: Gigi's not answering.
Brody: I can't get through to Jessica either.
John: Natalie's not picking up.
Brody: What now?
John: We're going to California.
Jared: Oh. Ah. Jessica?
[Car not starting]
Jessica: No! No! Come on, come on. Come on.
Dorian: Why is this taking so long?
Amelia: Be patient. They're saying they might have the results in morning.
Dorian: Well, the results better clinch it for me.
Langston: Well, they will, don't worry.
Dorian: Sweetheart, it's so nice that you have this kind of confidence in me.
Langston: Oh, it's not just me. We're all pulling for you.
Starr: I think it is time for the guest of honor to go to sleep.
Cole: Well, she hasn't finished opening all her presents.
Starr: I don't think she'll mind.
Cole: Well, it's a good thing this party's almost over 'cause there's no room for anymore.
Starr: Ha ha.
Marcie: How about one more?
Starr: [Gasps] Ooh! Marcie!
Marcie: Hey, mama.
Starr: M-wait. You're the mama. You look fantastic!
Marcie: So do you. So does Hope.
Todd: I gotta get out of here.
Blair: She is not gonna bite you.
Todd: No, no.
Blair: Everything worked out for the best.
Todd: It's not that. I've just got to take Jack and Sam back to my place.
Blair: But we don't know who won yet.
Todd: Who cares?
Blair: Okay. I'll walk you out.
Starr: Yeah. Was that good?
Cole: Do you want to hold her?
Marcie: Are you kidding? I don't know. A lot of toddlers are afraid of strangers. Maybe --
Starr: Strangers? You are not a stranger, Marcie.
Marcie: I only had her for one night.
Starr: Yeah, but then you gave her back to us. And we're gonna make sure that she remembers you forever and ever. Here, here. Marcie; okay.
Starr: Thank you.
Marcie: You're welcome. Oh. Hi, Hope. How are you?
Blair: Oh, thank you. You want to tell me what that was about before?
Marty: What was what?
Blair: "What was what?" You pretending you were gonna tell Todd about Téa's child.
Marty: Now, why would I do that? We both know that I'm not --
Blair: Whatever I said in our session is confidential.
Marty: It doesn't stop me from enjoying seeing you sweat a little bit.
Blair: Oh, and everybody thinks you're such a little saint.
Marty: Just like Todd thinks you're the oracle at Delphi.
Blair: Okay, Todd doesn't have to worry about me.
Marty: No, but you should worry about Todd because when the truth does come out, he's never gonna forgive you for not telling him.
Blair: No. Téa didn't tell him, and you said so yourself, and he's gonna be mad at her, not me.
Marty: Yeah, unless she convinces him she had a good reason to lie. What's your reason, Blair?
Blair: It doesn't matter, Marty, because he's not gonna find out the truth.
Todd: You're not gouging me? What kind of private investigator orders beef Wellington off the room service menu? Fine. Just stay on it. Tell me what Téa's doing in London, okay? Thank you.
Nadine: We did everything on the phone. It was all over the phone.
Corrine: It was exactly as she says.
John: We have to get to the airport. Next flight's in an hour.
EMT: How long were you unconscious?
Rex: Not long. I'm going with you.
John: Your aunt dosed you pretty good, all right. You've got to get checked out first.
Rex: I'm fine.
John: Well, get the okay the drugs are out of your system, all right? Hold him down if you have to.
Michigan cop: They're both ready to make a statement.
John: It's too bad they don't know anything. Let's go, Brody.
Nadine: Brody. I am sorry.
Brody: Me, too. For a while there, I thought maybe I had my sister again. I guess I was wrong.
EMT: Any dizziness, blurred vision?
Rex: I told you I'm fine.
Corrine: Rex! Don't let them take me to jail!
Rex: After what you did to me?
Corrine: But I raised you. I was good to you. And I know things, things that you need to know.
Rex: Yeah, right. You throw the book at her.
Corrine: Don't you want to know who your father is?
Gigi: I don't want to talk anymore.
Schuyler: Yeah? What do you want to do?
Gigi: What do you want to do? I bet I know.
Jared: Jessica? Jess? Jessica?
Jessica: Hello? Hello? Is anyone here? Please, my car won't start! I need help! Nash? Nash? Baby? Is that you?
