Cristian: Huh. Good thing we came home early, huh?
Sarah: Yeah. Who needs a ball when you've got a bed?
Cristian: And a shower, and a couch.
Cristian: And a floor.
Sarah: Wait. We did the floor?
Cristian: I know. It feels left out, doesn't it?
[Cristian and Sarah chuckle]
Nigel: Madam's been waiting.
Clint: Oh, thank you, Nigel.
Renee: Oh, Jared, I've been so worried about you. Are you all right?
Jared: Oh, no, it's just a flesh wound.
Renee: Oh -- do you need to lie down?
Clint: Well, you know, we practically had to wrestle him to the ground to let E.M.T. work on him. Oh -- everybody at the ball told me to tell you how much they missed you.
Renee: Thank you, darling, I --
Clint: Are you feeling better?
Renee: Oh, yes, now that I know that Jared is all right. Typical Buchanan man. Think you're invincible until proven otherwise. Look, flesh wound or not, you're going to sit down and rest.
Matthew: Uncle Jared!
Renee: Oh -- oh –
Shane: I can't believe you're here. I mean, you, like, fell off a building.
Clint: Almost fell.
Matthew: Thank you for saving Jessica.
Matthew: You're a real hero.
Jessica: Oh, hi. Um -- how is she?
Nurse: The doctors don't think she's going to make it through the night. I'm sorry.
Jessica: Wow. I can't get it out of my head the way that she just let go of Jared.
Nash: Well, I'm just glad that that lunatic didn't get her way. I don't know what I'd do without you.
Jessica: Hey, take a lot more than Allison Perkins to keep me away from you and Bree. A lot more.
Natalie: Why, Allison? Why did you try to kill Jessica?
Cristian: You okay?
Sarah: Oh. You can't tell?
Cristian: So, we're -- we're good, right?
Sarah: And getting better every time.
Cristian: I mean -- I mean between us.
Sarah: Well, I don't have any regrets, if that's what you're asking.
Cristian: Me, neither. I don't have any regrets, either.
Sarah: So why are you acting like we broke some kind of law or something?
Cristian: Well, you know, in certain parts of the country -- huh -- we probably did.
Sarah: Don't worry. I won't tell. Besides, I can’t.
Sarah: No. I'm a willing accomplice, remember? And they'd have to lock us up together.
Cristian: You know what I want to do right now?
Sarah: Gee, let me guess.
Matthew: Where did you get shot?
Shane: I bet it hurt.
Jared: Well, yeah.
Matthew: Weren't you scared you'd fall?
Gigi: Shane, honey, I'm sure Jared could use a little peace and quiet about now.
Jared: It's okay.
Shane: Mom, Jared's a hero, just like Charlie. So now I know two real heroes.
Shane: When I was having trouble with this bully at school, Charlie showed me some moves.
Jared: Ooh, wow!
Shane: He was awesome.
Jared: Yeah, he -- he must be looking out for you.
Shane: Yeah. He's a great guy.
Renee: What do you mean, "Bo was fired"? There hasn't been anything about it on the news.
Nora: Well, good. I don't want Matthew to see it on TV, I want him to hear it directly from Bo.
Clint: Well, even so, I'm not sure that he can make Matthew understand, because he doesn't understand it himself.
Nora: Oh, no. Matthew's so proud of his dad, you know. He just thinks that being a police commissioner means you run around and you just capture all the bad guys. You know, he has no idea that there's a whole thing of backroom politics.
Clint: Apparently, neither does Bo.
Nora: You know, for someone so smart, he can be so naive. Yet again, he's paying for Lindsay’s crimes.
Jared: Oh, yes. Oh.
Matthew: Between us. We can celebrate.
Nigel: That's why there's sparkling cider for you and Shane.
Gigi: Oh, excuse me. It's probably Viki.
Nora: Thank you, Nigel.
Clint: Thank you.
Ramsey: Ms. Morasco? Are you alone?
Renee: I would like to propose a toast in honor of Jared.
Renee: When I first set my eyes on you, I knew deep down that you were a very special person, and I was dead right. You are a Buchanan through and through. To Jared.
Nora: To Jared.
Matthew: To Jared.
Clint: To Jared.
Shane: To Jared.
Natalie: What's the matter, Allison? Cat got your tongue? I'm sure you didn't expect today's events to end up the way they did. But it just confirms what I already knew -- what everyone knows -- that you're a total wack job. But I never expected you to try to kill Jessica, and the question is, why? Why would you go after her?
Antonio: I'm sorry to have to break this up, but, Jessica, I have some questions about what happened tonight.
Nash: Oh, for heaven's sakes, Antonio, she's been through a lot today. Can't this wait until tomorrow?
Jessica: Nash -- I told you, I just want to get it over with, okay?
Antonio: And it's better that we do it now. All right? The more time passes, people tend to forget important details.
Nash: Jessica --
Jessica: I'll be okay. Please, fire away. I'll tell you anything that I can remember.
Antonio: Well, for starters, what were you doing at the Palace? You're obviously not dressed for the ball.
Jessica: I -- um -- went to go and look for Allison. I had reason to believe that she would be there.
Jessica: Well, I heard she had escaped from St. Ann's, and I figured she was going to go after our family, and I --
Nash: This is old news, right? I mean, you know all about their family history. It's --
Antonio: Yes, except that I'm here as a detective, not as a friend. I'm sorry, but I can't put words into her mouth. Do you know why Allison would try to kill you?
Jessica: I -- I'm a part of Mitch. Mitch was my father.
Allison: And it kills you to say that, doesn't it? Ha, ha, ha. Pun intended.
Jessica: Okay, well, I --
Allison: If Mitch wanted you dead, it's good enough for me.
Jessica: Um -- well -- she hated my family because of our connection to Mitch. You know, she worshipped him from the moment Natalie and I were born -- when she switched us. I -- she was --
Officer: The perp's belongings are downstairs waiting for you.
Jessica: What -- did -- what did you find?
Antonio: It's okay, go ahead.
Officer: We recovered the gun at the scene. The only thing on her was a D.V.D.
Jessica: I -- I have to see that D.V.D.
Sarah: All clear.
Cristian: It'd be awkward if Vincent and Layla showed up, huh?
Sarah: Oh, relax. They walk around naked all the time.
Cristian: Wait a minute, wait a minute. You're kidding?
Sarah: If this is going to work out between the two of us, you're going to have to stop being so gullible. Come on, it'll only take a minute.
Sarah: Oh, we got pizza -- um -- something that looks like chicken. Uh -- what are you in the mood for?
Cristian: I was thinking of something sweet. Kind of like dessert.
Sarah: Stop it, I'm freezing here.
Cristian: I know, I can tell.
Sarah: How about ice cream?
Cristian: What flavor is it?
Sarah: Does it matter?
Sarah: Oh, wait. The cake. Score.
Cristian: I'll take that.
Sarah: All right, let's go.
Cristian: Let's go.
Cristian: Whoa, no.
Sarah: Uh --
Vincent: "Ah" is right. What a night, sweetheart.
Layla: Yeah, let's turn in. I'm beat.
Vincent: Oh. I'm starving.
Layla: How could you be hungry? You stuffed yourself at the Palace.
Vincent: Well, Mama Jones' mealtime rule -- there is always room for dessert. Let's have -- they must've left something in the refrigerator. That red velvet cake you made the other day should definitely hit the spot.
Layla: Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no. You're not going to get all sugared up this late. You'll be tossing and turning all night.
Vincent: Just wanted one little bite. All right. Oh, I can think of some other ways to keep you up all night.
Layla: Okay, before you get all Romeo on me, Sarah can come in any moment. She and Cristian left early.
Vincent: Unless --
Layla: Unless what?
Vincent: Sarah and Cristian are at Cristian's place.
Layla: No, I doubt it. They probably went out for a drink. From what Sarah said, they are spinning wheels on the romance front -- going nowhere fast.
Vincent: You know, the two of them need to stop messing around and start messing around.
Gigi: What do you want?
Ramsey: Well, I'm all by myself, feeling lonely. I thought you might want to swing by.
Gigi: You thought wrong.
Ramsey: I'm not offering you a choice, Gigi. Tell Clint and Nora that you have to go.
Gigi: How do you know where I am?
Ramsey: There's a car waiting for you at the foot of the drive. Get in it. I'm waiting.
Gigi: I'll see if Shane can stay a little bit longer. Thanks so much. Oh.
Nora: Is something wrong?
Gigi: I left my wallet in the bathroom at The Palace.
Gigi: I have to go back and get it now. I feel so stupid.
Nora: Oh, please, don't. It's been proven that once you have a child, your brain shrivels to the size of a raisin.
Gigi: I think that's being generous. Um -- I hate to impose but it sounds like it's still pretty chaotic over there after everything that happened. It might be a while.
Nora: Do you want Shane -- do you want him to stay here?
Gigi: Are you -- is that okay?
Nora: Oh, please. And you know -- it'd be fine. Why don't you just have him stay the night if it's going to be late?
Gigi: Are you -- are you sure?
Nora: Oh, absolutely. Are you kidding me? If it's all right with him. You'd be doing me a favor. Matthew's been dying for a sleepover for weeks.
Gigi: Okay, okay. I -- I think he'll be fine with that.
Nora: Oh, great.
Gigi: He likes sleepovers. Hey, Shane, honey, do you want to stay here tonight?
Matthew: We can use sleeping bags.
Gigi: Hmm, you like sleepovers, right?
Shane: Yeah, sure, that'd be great. Um -- Mom, could I just, like, talk to you for a second?
Gigi: Okay. What's up? Do you not -- do you not want to sleep over?
Shane: I do, sort of. I mean, I will if you need me to.
Gigi: All right, honey, I understand you don't know Matthew that well. If I can, I'm going to come back and get you tonight.
Shane: But, Mom --
Gigi: Don't worry; I'll make them think it's me, that I miss you too much -- which is true. I'll be back. I love you. Have fun.
Shane: Okay, I promise.
Gigi: Be good.
Antonio: The D.V.D. they found on Allison? Why was it so urgent?
Jessica: Well, it might have some important information on it. It could've been the reason all this happened.
Antonio: "The reason"?
Jessica: When I saw Allison on the terrace, she kept on taunting me, telling me that she knew this secret about me. Some secret that would change my life.
Antonio: Well, do you know what she meant by that?
Jessica: No. Um -- all she said was the secret would die with her, and then -- and then she let go of Jared and she fell.
Natalie: I know this may sound strange, but I guess I should be grateful. Because if it weren't for you, I never would've known that I was a Buchanan. Never would have known this wonderful family that --
Natalie: That's just so full of love and -- and life. So, despite the hell that you put us through tonight, Allison, I just want to thank you.
Matthew: That was awesome. It was like right out of the movies.
Shane: We'll play it again. This time, in slow motion.
Matthew: Oh, yeah.
Jared: Oh, it's amazing how quickly that security video was leaked.
Renee: Well, I'm going to have to speak to my staff about leaking that. But I have to tell you, I am so happy that the world gets to see --
Renee: How brave you were tonight.
Jared: Well, it wasn't like I planned it. I just sort of reacted. If I had known I'd be hanging for my life from the sixth floor of a building, I might have reconsidered.
Renee: Well, thank God that man, Charlie, was there to pull you to safety.
Matthew: That must've hurt when she shot you.
Jared: I was a little more concerned about not falling.
Shane: So you were really worried that your hand would slip?
Jared: Yeah, well, put it this way. I -- I wouldn't be here talking to you if that Charlie hadn't come save me.
Matthew: So now that Charlie saved your life, I guess you two are like buddies, right?
Layla: I mean, if Cris and Sarah’s relationship goes anywhere, it'll take a miracle.
Layla: They're two of the most cautious people in the universe, right?
Vincent: Well, being cautious is one thing, moving at dial-up speed -- huh -- come on.
Layla: All right, that's it. I am going to bed. Are you coming, or are you still thinking about cake?
Vincent: Oh. Well, I'm a man. Of course I'm thinking about cake.
Layla: All right, well, then you can sleep on the couch.
Vincent: No, no, no, no. On second thought, I can have cake for breakfast. You know, a sweet start to the day keeps a man happy.
Layla: Is that from Mama Jones, too?
Vincent: Oh, no, that's all me.
Sarah: Come on.
Cristian: Oh. You know, you look pretty sexy in paper.
Cristian: Oh, wait.
Sarah: Where are you going?
Cristian: The cake.
Sarah: Are you crazy? Come on!
Cristian: Well, we came out here. We might as well take it.
Vincent: Hey –
Jared: You didn't have to do that tonight. The toast. But thank you.
Renee: I meant every word.
Jared: Ever since we met, you've en so good to me, no matter what anyone else has said. I don't get it.
Renee: Darling, there's a lot of things that I've learned in life, but one of them is don't let other people determine what you feel about someone. I make up my own mind.
Jared: Well, I appreciate your blind faith in me.
Renee: My instincts about you were correct right from the beginning. You are a remarkable man, and Asa would've been very proud to have you as his son.
Jared: Well, let's not get carried away.
Renee: Well, no, and let's not be so modest here.
Jared: Well, if I did anything tonight remarkable, I have you to thank. You have always been so -- you've believed in me so completely. You have no idea what that means to me.
Renee: Darling, you mean so much to me.
Jared: Can you excuse me for just a minute? Thank you.
Nigel: Too much familial praise for one evening?
Jared: Too much pain in shoulder. I need some aspirin.
Nigel: Jared --
Nigel: I will admit, I'm grateful to you for saving Ms. Jessica. I doubt David Vickers --
Nigel: Asa's true lost son, would have been so selfless.
Jared: Well, you see? I'm not the complete jerk that you think I am.
Nigel: You are a hero. It's paying off nicely. You've got a regular fan club in there.
Jared: Yeah. Well, it's very important to me to be accepted by this family.
Nigel: I don't believe you're actually sincere.
Jared: I am. And I am going to be the best damn Buchanan you've ever seen. You're not going to regret what you've done, Nigel. You know, keeping Vickers a secret.
Nora: Well, I don't know what's going on in City Hall, but -- huh -- I bet you the mayor and his cronies are absolutely savoring every minute.
Clint: What bothers me more is what Ramsey told Bo. He said something to the effect that now that Asa's out of the picture, Bo's vulnerable.
Nora: That sounds like a threat.
Clint: Yeah, it does. You know, Bo never did what the politicos wanted if it went against the public good, which it often did, and that's how he made his enemies.
Nora: Well, no one could ever accuse Bo of selling out.
Clint: No, never. And Asa's influence had no borders at all. I'm telling, Nora, that man was making deals right up to the very end, and he wasn't shy about getting his hands dirty, either. He had this certain information on people, and that kept them in line. But he should've written it down, because he never shared that information with me. Or with Bo.
Nora: Well, maybe it's better he didn’t.
Nora: But it is too bad we couldn't find something on Ramsey to keep him in line.
Ramsey: Oh, Gigi. Hey, I guessed. I took the liberty.
Gigi: You shouldn't have bothered. You're not my drinking buddy.
Ramsey: Oh. Well, I don't really like to drink alone.
Gigi: I thought you'd be used to it.
Ramsey: Yeah, well, it's on my list of attributes.
Gigi: Okay. So why -- why the hell am I here? I've heard all your threats. I don't need to hear them again. So if you have nothing new to add --
Ramsey: Gigi, you know what? I like you. You're feisty. It's a good thing. Normally. But right now, it's a very, very bad thing.
Antonio: You said that you thought that Allison was going to the ball to come after your family. Did Allison try to contact you or your family before tonight?
Jessica: Um -- no. But I was at St. Ann's a little while ago and I ran into her.
Antonio: Was there some sort of confrontation that may have caused her to go to the palace?
Jessica: Um -- you know, she was just her usual taunting self. All innuendos, but no -- no talk of the ball.
Antonio: All right.
Antonio: You said you went to St. Ann'S. Why, you were visiting someone?
Antonio: Were you volunteering? Come on, Jess, you can't hold anything back.
Jessica: I --
Nash: It was all a --
Jessica: I was a patient there.
Nash: A crazy misunderstanding.
Jessica: It's not what you think.
Nash: Look, none of this is really relevant to her being shot at by a lunatic, is it?
Antonio: I need to know all the facts.
Jessica: It was a way to trap Jared. It -- a way to prove that he wasn't who he said he was. And I pretended to be Tess, and -- and then I wound -- wound up in St. Ann’s.
Nash: Took a couple days to sort out, but she's fine.
Antonio: So let me get this straight. Just -- for myself. This Jared Banks who you tried to prove is a fraud is the same guy who saved your life tonight?
Nash: Okay, you got all the facts. Are we done? Can we go?
Antonio: Yeah. Yeah, I think I got everything covered.
Officer: Here it is, Sir.
Jessica: Oh, is that the D.V.D.?
Officer: Afraid so.
Allison: Well, you know your little secret, Jessica? The one you're dying to know? Well, it dies with me.
Antonio: I don't think forensics is going to be able to pull anything off of that D.V.D.
Jessica: Oh, I -- I need -- I need some water.
Nash: I'll go.
Jessica: No, no, no, no. It's fine, it's fine. I'll go. I'll be right back.
Antonio: Allison's really gotten to her. She seems --
Nash: Seems -- yeah, you think?
Nash: She's gotten to us all. I'm sorry.
Natalie: Allison, I just don't understand. Why did you keep torturing my sister with this secret of yours? I mean, is there any truth to it? And if there is, why all the drama? I mean, come on, Allison, you tell my sister that the secret dies with you, and then you take a swan dive from the sixth-floor terrace. Thank God for Jared. He saved my sister's life. And he almost got killed.
Jared: I'm in love with you. Natalie --
Natalie: I don't -- I don't want to talk about it.
Jared: I don't, either.
Matthew: Jared must be pretty tough.
Shane: Yeah. He got shot and he didn't even go to the hospital.
Clint: Well, now, he was mighty, mighty lucky.
Matthew: What's going to happen with Allison Perkins?
Nora: We don't know.
Matthew: I heard she escaped from St. Ann'S.
Clint: Well, Matthew, that's the unofficial word, yeah.
Shane: I wonder how she did it.
Matthew: Okay, I think she hid in the dirty laundry, deactivated the alarm, tied all the sheets together, and then –
Both: Slid down the side of the building.
Shane: And she was probably dressed in black like a ninja.
Matthew: Whoo. Hoo-ya.
Shane: Hoo-ya. Ya!
Nora: Okay, memo to self -- cut down on Matthew’s TV time.
Ramsey: You haven't touched your beverage.
Gigi: I told you, I don't want it.
Ramsey: Well -- better? What the doctor ordered?
Gigi: It's fine.
Ramsey: Now, look, I appreciate you coming down here. I know this isn't the ideal place to meet, but I'm staying here for the time being. I hope you understand.
Gigi: I don't understand at all.
Ramsey: Okay. Here's something you have to understand. I would never harm a child. I love children. I believe they are little miracles. But they're vulnerable. They need protection. As a young mother, I'm sure you know that.
Gigi: That's what this is all about? You want to make sure I keep my mouth shut?
Ramsey: Hmm. I know you're a bright girl. You'll -- eventually, you'll catch on.
Gigi: Don't worry about me. Okay? I get it. Shane and I are leaving Llanview. We'll be out of your hair by morning. Forget we ever existed.
Ramsey: No, no, no. Not so fast, please.
Gigi: You want me gone, I'm going.
Ramsey: No, forgive me. I don't think I made myself clear.
Ramsey: I don't want you to leave Llanview. I want you both to stay here.
Layla: You better not be chowing down in the fridge -- uh-uh. Are those my three-ply paper towels?
Sarah: We needed them to clean up the -- the mess.
Cristian: We broke a beer bottle.
Sarah: Filled wine -- spilled wine.
Layla: What? Where?
Cristian: In Sarah's room.
Sarah: Come on.
Cristian: Let's go.
Layla: Remind me tomorrow, we need paper towels.
Sarah: I am so sorry. I had no idea they would be home this early.
Cristian: There's nothing to be sorry about. On the other hand -- I mean, if you want to make it up to me --
Layla: Uh-uh. There's ice cream all over the place! What happened to my cake?
Gigi: Why should Shane and I stay in Llanview?
Ramsey: Well, you're a single mother, all alone in the world. Bad things happen.
Gigi: Bad things can happen anywhere.
Ramsey: Yes, I -- I know. But I would like you to stay in Llanview, where we can look out for you.
Gigi: I don't need you, or anyone else to look out for me. I've done just fine on my own.
Ramsey: Well, no, see, that's just it. You're not alone anymore. You got me.
Gigi: Is that supposed to make me feel better?
Ramsey: Oh, come on. Just fear of the unknown. I know that eventually, you and I can -- can get to know each other.
Gigi: I think I know all I need to about you.
Ramsey: Oh, I doubt that. I know a lot about you. Raised in Michigan, left home right after high school, raised Shane all by yourself. You have $155.57 in your bank account and a history with some Llanview guy -- Rex Balsom, a semi-private investigator. You want more?
Gigi: No. I get it. You have access to my entire life. You've made it clear how much I can lose and how quickly I can lose it. Isn't that it?
Ramsey: Oh, look, sure. I can make trouble for anybody, but what you have to understand is with me as your friend, you have a lot to gain.
Matthew: Wait a second. Where exactly did Allison shoot you?
Jared: Oh. Right -- right about there.
Shane: Well, that was close.
Shane: If she aimed any lower --
Nora: Okay, guys, bedtime.
Matthew: Come on, cut us slack.
Nora: Hey -- hey, young man --
Nora: You know, Jared needs some rest, too.
Shane: You're like a real, live action hero.
Jared: Ah, I don't think so.
Matthew: How sweet is this? My new uncle's a hero, just like my dad.
Jared: Thanks, Matt.
Matthew: I'm glad you're okay.
Nora: I think Matthew’s taking a real liking to Jared.
Clint: I think the feeling's mutual.
Nigel: I will make sure the boys prepare for bed without getting sidetracked by video games. Gentlemen --
Nora: Thank you, Nigel. Thank you very much.
Matthew: Jared's story is better than any video game I own.
Nora: Bye, night.
Clint: Good night.
Matthew: Yeah, good night.
Jared: Bye, guys.
Nora: Well, this may be new to you, but you've become, like, the perfect uncle.
Nora: Seriously, Matthew -- the boys -- they just -- they adore you.
Jared: Well, I like them, too. They're good kids.
Nora: Yeah, well, I don't think I would be underestimating it if I told you that I think they think you're superhuman.
Jared: Right, well, I didn't want to disappoint them, but what I did was a little more impulsive than super.
Nora: You jumped between Jessica and a crazy woman with a loaded gun. I don't think most people would find the impulse to do that.
Jared: Thank you, Nora.
Clint: Jared, tomorrow morning, I have a meeting with the Janesen people about a potential merger. And if you're feeling up to it, I'd like you to sit in.
Clint: Yep. I'm interested in your take on the whole situation.
Jared: Well, yeah, I'd -- I'd be thrilled, I'm honored. I'll be there, definitely.
Clint: All right.
Jessica: Huh. Hey. Any change? Did she wake up at all?
Natalie: No. The nurse said that she broke so many bones in her body that they have her on some serious medication. She'll be in la-la land for a while.
Jessica: I'm sorry I dragged you into this mess.
Natalie: Hey, what are sisters for? You know, Allison did this to herself this time. She hurt herself, and I'm just -- I'm glad that it's not you sitting there doped up, hanging on by a thread.
Jessica: Thanks to Jared. Huh. Are you okay? I mean, on top of everything else, this -- this must be really difficult for you.
Natalie: Nothing I can do about it, right? You ready to go home?
Jessica: Um -- no, actually, just -- I'll be there in a minute, okay? Just need a sec.
Jessica: I know you can hear me, Allison. You think you won, but you haven’t. I know. I know your secret.
Layla: When I agreed to Sarah being my roommate, kitchen disasters and nudity were not part of the deal.
Vincent: Well, baby -- yeah, well, why don't we leave this mess to the perpetrators?
Layla: Leave it?
Vincent: Mm-hmm. Mmm. Think about it. Cris and Sarah made the mess. Let them own up to it.
Vincent: You know, I'll tell you one thing -- oh -- it must have been pretty humiliating for those two to get caught out there like that. But one thing is obvious. The two of them -- hmm -- they got it bad.
Gigi: You want to be my friend? Don't get touchy-feely without me giving you permission. Keep your hands to yourself, and I'll keep your secret.
Ramsey: Well, my concern is that you and I understand each other.
Gigi: I understand, perfectly.
Ramsey: Okay, so no leaving town?
Gigi: I won't leave.
Ramsey: Good. Want to go home? Douglas, take her back.
Gigi: Ramsey --
Gigi: You try to hurt my little boy again, I swear to God, you'll pay.
Ramsey: Gigi, I never have. Good night.
Renee: Ooh, well, all this excitement has plumb worn me out. I'm turning in.
Jared: Ah. Well, thank you for everything.
Renee: No, thank you. It means so much to me that you and Jessica are safe. And I meant what I said earlier tonight. Asa would've been bursting with pride.
Jared: Thank you. It means a lot to me.
Renee: Good night, one and all.
Nora: Good night. I'm right behind you, actually.
Clint: Yeah, I'm going to call it quits, too.
Nora: Good night, Jared.
Jared: Good night, Nora.
Clint: Oh, Jared -- I'll see you in the morning, for the meeting, so get some rest.
Nora: Well, it was quite a night, huh? Would you get my hook for me, please?
Nora: Our first night out as a couple -- I was hoping it would be exciting, I just didn't think it was going to be quite that exciting.
Clint: Well, I'm certainly glad you were with me through all the craziness.
Nora: Is that bells I hear?
Clint: No, it's me.
Clint: Oh, business in L.A.
Nora: Well, a mogul's work knows no coast.
Clint: Oh, yeah. Nora --
Nora: Nice shade on you.
Clint: Thank you. You need some sleep.
Nora: Good night.
Clint: Good night. Hello?
Jared: Whew. Whew.
Natalie: Antonio left?
Nash: Yeah. Thanks to Jessica. Somehow, she managed to answer all of his questions without letting it slip that the two of you are responsible for springing a convicted crazy felon.
Jessica: You thought you'd torture me forever. Well, you can forget it. It's not going to happen. Your big secret? It's that I'm the luckiest woman in the whole world. I have a beautiful daughter, I have a man that I adore, I have a blessed life that anyone would envy. And I am going to thank God and cherish every moment of it. So you and your secret can go to hell.
Ramsey: You're late. What do you got on the Perkins case? Yeah.
Antonio: I don't usually get called into bars for official police business.
Ramsey: I'll give you a word of advice, Officer --
