Markko: One more. Oh-oh! All right.
Markko: Thatís pretty good. Only 10 pounds less than my little sister benches.
Cole: Oh, yeah? Well, letís see, thatís -- thatís 20 pounds more than you?
Cole: Huh, big shot?
Langston: Ooh, burn.
Cole: Oh, yeah.
Cole: Thank you, thank you.
Cole: All right, I'll tell you what. Letís get crazy here. Why donít you slap another 10 pounds on that big boy?
Markko: All right.
Langston: Ooh, 10 pounds? Letís see. Yeah. Go ahead.
Cole: All right, letís do it.
Langston: Go ahead.
[Cole takes a deep breath]
Cole: All right.
Markko: One, two, three --
Cole: Ah --
Markko: I'm sorry, I thought you said you could handle it.
Cole: Uh -- uh -- get off of me.
Britney: You heard the news?
Cole: The news about you getting off of me?
Britney: No. About how Starrís dad is trying to take Mrs. McBainís kid away. How do you like life with the Mannings now?
Cristian: So you canít book us in for November? Well, how about Halloween? We'll do the whole promotional thing. Hold on a second. What?
Sarah: You want this band or not?
Cristian: Go away. Sorry about that. Yeah. You sure? All right.
Rex: You ok?
Adriana: A, you told Blair that you helped Michael and Marcieís lawyer. B, my mother now knows that we knew Tommy was Toddís son all along and never told Todd. And, C, Blair threatened to throw me out of the family if I donít break up with you. Yeah, I'm great.
Rex: Your motherís not going to say anything to anybody, and Blairís just blowing smoke. We'll be fine.
Adriana: This was supposed to be a great day -- telling everyone that we decided to move in together.
Rex: Itís still a good day.
Adriana: Why did your mother have to go shoot her mouth off to Blair, and why did you have to own up to helping Michael and Marcieís lawyer?
Rex: Because I'm not ashamed of it, and I'm not scared of Blair and -- and Todd. Now, I want you to stop thinking about all of that and start thinking about where I'm going to store all my furniture so that I have room for your shoes when you move in.
Layla: Oh. You're moving out? Thanks for telling me.
Adriana: Oh --
Nora: I know this is a difficult time, will. But a man is dead. And your mother killed him -- kept it quiet for months while two other people were charged with murder. Will: Ok, ok, even if she did do something like that -- which -- which she didnít -- she did it because she went crazy for a minute, or --
Nora: That could be part of her defense. Will: Sheís all I have left, Nora.
Nora: She should have thought of that, will. Will: Ok, this guy -- this -- this Truman -- he killed people, right? He ruined peopleís lives for the fun of it.
Nora: Vigilante justice is against the law, and so is taking someoneís life.
Will: But what, what, you're ok with having the commonwealth trying to take my motherís?
Nora: I'm sorry. I really am. But your mother has to pay for what she did.
Lindsay: What? Oh. What are you doing here? I am so happy to see you.
Marcie: How are you doing?
Lindsay: Donít you worry about me. I'm just fine. I want to hear about Tommy. Tell me all about your beautiful boy.
Michael: Down for the count.
John: Yeah. He ran himself ragged at my place.
Michael: You know, John, I'm looking at him right now for the first time in a long time. I'm thinking we got a shot.
John: You know, if the judge knows Manningís history, it could be good for you and Marcie.
Michael: He hung himself on the stand today, John. He looked like the worst candidate for father, ever.
Blair: What happened after we left?
Todd: The judge came back in and said he'd heard enough to give Tommy to the McBains.
Todd: Yeah, but then he said he'd give me a chance to tell my side. And so I asked to be sworn in, because, you know -- I didnít want him to think I was going to lie. And at the same time, I wasnít going to let those son of a bitches make Margaret look like my victim.
Starr: Well, did you tell them all the stuff that she did to you?
Todd: Yeah, I did, but you know, the lawyer just kept badgering me, just kept pounding me with everything I'd ever done in my life. Of course, thatís a long list.
Starr: But, Dad, you're the babyís birth father. They proved that. Isnít there a way?
Todd: Hmm. You're such a good kid. Did anyone ever tell you that?
Starr: Yeah, you.
Todd: Well, but this is my problem, ok? I donít want you to worry about this. I want you to worry about school.
Starr: I told you that Langston would take notes for me.
Blair: Now, wait a minute, Starr. Your dad and I donít want you to get that far behind, all right? You just started school. Heís right. Come on.
Starr: Hey, itís going to be all right. Just do whatever you have to.
Starr: I love you.
Todd: Love you, too.
Blair: So come on. It canít be as bad as you say.
Todd: No, itís worse than I said. When that lawyer trotted out everything I've ever done, she got me so freaking mad that I said I wanted the kid dead when Margaret was pregnant. I donít think I can do this the legal way. I think you were right. I need a plan.
Blair: I donít think this is the time to do something illegal, Todd.
Todd: Whose side are you on?
Blair: I am on your side! What do I have to do, skywrite it? But if they're going to come after you for all the bad things that you've done, maybe itís time to prove to them that you've changed.
Todd: And how exactly do I do that? Who are you calling?
Blair: Just a minute. Jessica, itís Blair. Listen, your Uncle Todd is in a very serious custody battle right now, and he could really use your help. So when you get this message, call us, because we think you could make a good character witness, ok? Thanks.
Todd: My niece? The one with two personalities? And that should work out good.
Blair: Now, you call your sister.
Todd: Itís just not enough.
Blair: Todd, come on. We got to have somebody thatís got to counter these charges here. Somebody has to tell the judge that maybe all of this stuff thatís happened to you is because of your relationship with your stepfather. Somebodyís got to make the judge believe that you would never, ever do that to your own child, so come on, call Viki. Call her -- itís all we got.
John: I know I donít have to tell you this.
Michael: I know, John. Donít get my hopes up too soon, right?
John: End of day, Manning still Tommyís biological father, and heís got rights.
Michael: No, he looked like the father from hell today, John. And we made him look that way.
John: You think heís that bad?
Michael: I donít know. Only his kids can answer that question. I really hope we didnít mess things up for Todd with Starr and Jack.
John: You did what you had to do.
Michael: When Tommy came to us, he had nobody. And we took him in, we cared for him, and we fell in love with him, John. Whew. Lindsay fell in love with him, too. You know, if she killed Spencer Truman, she did it to protect Tommy. I -- I canít help wondering whatís going to happen to her.
John: Being suspended means you're kind of out of the loop, Mike.
Michael: You got to know something, John.
John: Before I left, Nora was all over the case.
Michael: She hates Lindsay, doesnít she?
John: All I know is she could have offered Lindsay a deal, but she didnít. She must be confident of a conviction. Will: I know you, Nora, and I know you care about justice.
Nora: Thatís right.
Will: And I also know you have a long history with my Mom, and itís all bad.
Nora: What do you want me to do?
Will: At least assign someone else to this case.
Nora: Well, thatís not going to change anything, will.
Will: No, I disagree. I think this is personal. I think you want to see my mother fry.
Nora: That is absolutely not true. Will, this is a high-profile case. I'm the District Attorney. We have a lot of very solid evidence. I'm sorry, I really am. I wish your mother hadnít done what she did.
Will: Look, could you just stop thinking like a lawyer for a few minutes, please? My sister was murdered. Now, my mother has been through hell because of it.
Nora: Well, then her lawyer should argue diminished capacity. No, she needs somebody to give her a break, is what she needs.
Nora: Listen, I understand that Lindsay has suffered greatly since the loss of Jen. I donít know how she goes through her life every day, but she does. And she killed someone.
Will: According to you.
Nora: Actions bear consequences, will, and I know that itís hard for you to be objective. I understand Ė
Will: Yeah, well, I understand that you are an angry, vindictive woman, Nora, and you're taking out the frustration of your own life on my mother.
Nora: No, honey, I Ė
Will: No, donít you dare condescend to me.
Lindsay: "Free Lindsay"?
Lindsay: Is that what his little t-shirt says?
Marcie: Mm-hmm. Roxy Balsom thought of it. The t-shirts -- they're flying off the shelves, you know? Because people believe in you, Lindsay. You're going to go home soon.
Lindsay: I donít know about that.
Marcie: No. Donít let this place get to you, Lindsay. You've got to keep thinking positively. You have got to look like someone whoís going to fight to prove her innocence, do you hear me? And anyway, in my mind, you are.
Lindsay: My mindís just a little scattered right now.
Marcie: Well, you know, itís really just this place.
Lindsay: Thatís what Will said.
Marcie: Wow, I didnít know will was here. I didnít know he was in town.
Lindsay: Yeah, well, heís really upset. He couldnít stay away.
Marcie: Of course.
Lindsay: I wish he hadnít come here.
Marcie: Huh. What are you talking like that for? What would it look like if your own son didnít even show up?
Lindsay: Everyone needs to stop worrying about me.
Marcie: We love you. We want you to beat this.
Lindsay: Tell Roxy to stop selling those t-shirts.
Marcie: Oh, Lindsay --
Lindsay: I donít deserve to go free.
Marcie: Lindsay --
Lindsay: I donít regret what I did, or why I did it.
Layla: So you make this big decision without even consulting me? I thought we were best friends.
Adriana: We are.
Layla: I put everything I have into our company. I canít pick up your half of the rent.
Adriana: I promise you, I will pay my half until you find someone you want to live with.
Rex: Adriana said that had to be part of our deal.
Vincent: Well, Layla should have known that the two of you were thinking about this, ok?
Layla: Thank you.
Adriana: We werenít thinking about it until a couple days ago.
Layla: You know what? Itís fine. I'm going to be really sad to see you go. But I'm glad that you guys are happy.
Adriana: I hope you understand. God, this was worse than telling our mothers.
Rex: Am I the only one whoís seeing the obvious here?
Vincent: What are you talking about?
Rex: You moving in with Layla.
Vincent: Me? She and I? I donít think Laylaís ready for that.
Layla: Am I not good enough to live with?
Vincent: You saying you want me to move in with you?
Layla: What if I am?
Sarah: So why couldnít you book them?
Cristian: Wasnít meant to be.
Sarah: What does that mean?
Cristian: They wanted 30% of the bar for the night of the gig, and we donít go that high. Do me a favor. Can you take these to table five?
Sarah: Well, so then you just pick up their hotel rooms.
Cristian: If I canít pay 30% of the bar, I canít pay for a hotel room for a seven-piece band, Sarah.
Sarah: Put them in a flea bag. Cristian, they wonít know the difference.
Cristian: Table five, please. Thank you.
Sarah: Fine. I'm just saying, it would show good will.
Cristian: Ok. I'll remember that next time.
Sarah: Like that would even matter.
Cristian: What is that supposed to mean?
Sarah: I heard your little "negotiation." Look, they are a lame EMO band, and you totally blew it.
Cristian: You know what, Sarah? Last time I looked, this wasnít any of your business.
Sarah: Oh, no, no -- but -- but it -- but it is my business, because I need this job, and -- and you need some high-octane performers in this club, or itís going to be a has-been.
Cristian: Is that right?
Sarah: Yeah, thatís right.
Cristian: And you think you can put talent in this club that'll bring it back on the map?
Sarah: Do you want to bet?
Cristian: What kind of bet?
Sarah: I will bet you that I can get a band in here with name recognition, a band that charts, within the week.
Cristian: And if you canít?
Sarah: I'll walk out of this bar and your life forever. Sound good?
Britney: You should think of Starrís new little brother as a good thing. Like when you and Starr get married and you have to go to family reunions, you wonít be the only one there whose Mommy got raped by Todd.
Cole: Get off of me!
Langston: Markko, come on, lp him with the ba I'm not kidding.
Britney: Be careful. You donít want people to think you've got the roid rage. We all know about how much trouble you got into before. Ah! What do you think you're doing?
Starr: I'm sorry, it was the steroids.
Britney: You know what? I'm sure you'll have something just as clever to say when your father steals Mrs. McBainís kid away. Well, now I need a mirror.
Cole: Hey, come on. Oh, jeez. Hey, listen, after everything Britneyís done to us, I know I donít have to tell you not to listen to her.
Langston: Hey, how'd it go in court?
Starr: I wasnít there. My dad wouldnít let me stay.
Starr: But me and my mom went to see him afterwards, and he looked like crap. The McBains are trying to prove that heís unfit. They're bringing out everything that heís ever done. And I mean everything.
Blair: Why didnít you leave a message?
Todd: You're talking about my niece and my sister. They're not going to carry any weight with this judge.
Blair: What are you talking about?
Todd: Everybody in town respects "Viki." and they know that she would say and do anything to help one of her family members.
Blair: Oh, come on, that is not true. She'd be a very good witness.
Todd: No, I think we need to think a little more creatively here.
Blair: Oh, come on, Todd.
Todd: No, Marcie and Michael have my son, and they're not going to let him go easily.
Todd: Why didnít I think of that before?
Blair: Think of what?
Todd: Getting Marcie pregnant.
Marcie: You're starting to scare me here, Lindsay.
Lindsay: I didnít mean to. Not when you have so much on your mind.
Marcie: What did you mean? What did you mean that you do not regret what you did?
Lindsay: Tell me what happened in court today.
Marcie: The D.N.A. test came back. Tommy is Toddís biological son. Toddís his father.
Lindsay: I will never forget the look on your face the day that he barged into my hearing and said what he did.
Marcie: Yeah, well, it was pretty much the worst day of my life.
Lindsay: It wasnít supposed to come out. Not like that.
Marcie: You know, I just found out that Rex had known for a really long time. Did you know the same thing? Did you do it to protect me? Is that why you said what you did? Did you kill Spencer? And did you do it to protect me?
Marcie: Did you do this for me? Did you kill Spencer to make sure that --
Marcie: Todd would never find out that heís Tommyís father?
Lindsay: Look, Marcie --
Lawyer: Thatís enough, Lindsay. Will you please leave me alone with my client?
Marcie: Oh, look, I'm a very dear friend of Lindsay.
Lawyer: Lindsay, I hope you werenít discussing the details of our case with someone besides me. Just remember, thereís only one thing you need to say. Itís the same thing you're going to tell the judge this afternoon when you go before him -- not guilty.
Lindsay: Donít worry, I know what to do. I've always known.
Nora: I understand why you're angry, but this is not personal, I promise you. When the police arrested your mother, I was completely taken by surprise. And I was very skeptical.
Will: What? Your skepticism just went away?
Nora: Yes, it did. Will: Why?
Nora: Because I didnít understand her motive, and now I do. I didnít want to be prosecuting her.
Will: Your ex-husband killed my sister. That ruined my motherís life.
Nora: My ex-husband did a lot of things and ruined a lot of peopleís lives, including my own. Thatís irrelevant.
Will: Is it? Is it? Because this guy that sheís accused of killing -- this Spencer Truman -- wasnít he killed while he was trying to rape Blair Cramer?
Nora: It appears to be the reason.
Will: Ok, so even if my mom did do this, then doesnít that make her a hero?
Nora: It would if saving Blair was your motherís primary motivation. Will, we have a whole lot of evidence, and it all points to the fact that your motherís sole purpose for going to that hospital was to kill Spencer Truman. She followed him to Blair Cramerís room. She didnít just happen into the room at a critical moment. It was all premeditated.
Will: Doesnít that make it murder one?
Nora: Yes, it does.
Will: I donít believe this.
Nora: I'm really sorry. I'm really sorry, Will.
Nora: I'm -- I just was following the chain of evidence. I'm not out to get your mother.
Will: Nora, I lost my Dad. I lost Jen. Are you really going to take her away from me, too?
Nora: I just got to do my job. Did your mother, when you saw her -- did she tell you she didnít kill Spencer Truman? Did she ever swear to you that she was innocent?
Michael: Marcieís been wondering if Lindsay killed Truman to keep him quiet about Tommy. John, if she finds out that I knew that Todd was Tommyís father -- when she finds out how long I've known --
John: Hey, the two of us and Balsom are the only ones who know that, right?
John: Sheís not going to hear it from us.
Michael: Yeah. But hereís the thing. Rex gave us all that ammunition we used against Todd today in court. Heís the reason that Todd looked so bad.
Michael: So, you figured out the connection between me and Rex -- that Rex told me who Tommy really was. Well, Toddís on the ropes right now. But I'm telling you, this guy is really angry at us, and he is going to be looking for something to use against us. What if he puts together what you put together and he tells Marcie?
John: Just hope that doesnít happen, mike. The less Manning thinks about this, the better off it is for you.
Todd: Yeah, yeah, thatís what we tell the judge. We tell him that -- that they can have kids. What do they need mine for?
Blair: No, they -- they canít, Todd.
Todd: Well, why not? Because they're -- because they're too busy? Because they're too wrapped up in my son?
Blair: Didnít you hear John? They canít have children.
Todd: What are you talking about?
Blair: Marcie even told me herself. Sheís gone to a couple of doctors that told her that she canít have any kids. I mean, thatís the big problem here.
Todd: Well, then they can adopt another one.
Blair: Oh -- so they're just going to give up one so that they can get anther? Would you want to do that?
Todd: Well, what I donít want is to live in the same town with two people who are raising my kid!
Blair: Well, I donít want you to think that they're just going to give Tommy up.
Todd: Well, then why -- whose side are you on?
Blair: I'm on your side, damn it, and I wish you knew how much!
Todd: Ok, I'm sorry -- no, you're right. Thatís good, because I canít do this myself. I need you with me in this.
Blair: I'm not going to treat you with kid gloves. You know, you did something stupid. And all those things that they read on the record -- I'm sure you did when you werenít thinking. So if you really want my help, you have to listen to me. I think the biggest problem that we have here today is -- is you.
Todd: God. I did what I did to Margaret because I didnít want you to find out she was pregnant.
Blair: And you seriously underestimate me. And you got to stop dog that.
Todd: I donít know how to beat this.
Blair: Well, I think the best thing you can do is get yourself under control.
Todd: How do I stay in control when they say I wanted to murder my own son? How do I stay in control when I have to listen to what I did to Marty over and over? They donít know what it was like to have about that. They donít know what itís like to live with it over and over again every day of my life.
Markko: That sounds really bad for your old man, Starr.
Starr: I know. Enlightened is not what I would call my dad right now. I know that my dad has done a lot of bad stuff, but he has always tried to make up for it, right?
Cole: Yeah. So, what do you think is going to happen now?
Starr: I think the McBains are trying to say that even though my dad is the biological father, it doesnít mean that heís a good father.
Langston: But couldnít you talk to the judge and tell him that you know thatís not true?
Starr: I wanted to, but my dad wouldnít let me.
Markko: I donít get this guy.
Starr: He didnít want me to be cross-examined by the McBains' lawyer. I guess he was afraid that she might make me admit that he -- was totally off the wall about you, and just stuff like that.
Cole: What, like heís not fit to be your dad, too?
Starr: Well, I donít know.
Cole: Your dadís changed, right? I mean, heís trying to be a better person. Isnít that what matters?
Starr: Thank you.
Britney: Right. Who cares if he raped your mom? Heís just misunderstood. Are you two for real?
Michael: You want another beer?
John: Nah. Without a job to go to, beer could become a way of life.
Michael: Hmm. Speaking of no job -- how are you handling the suspension?
John: Itís not like it hasnít happened before.
Michael: Hmm. Whew. Well, thanks, anyway, you know, for trying to contain it.
John: Well, thereís so much evidence against Lindsay, she could have been convicted without a clear-cut motive.
Michael: Yeah. But Todd had to go and shoot off his big mouth. Nora put two and two together. Listen, if it -- it means anything to you, I'm really grateful.
John: If it means anything, I would have done the same thing again.
Lawyer: Court will be in session in about an hour, and I believe you're first up.
Lindsay: And where will you be?
Lawyer: I'll be there with you, in the courtroom. And then hopefully, things will be a little calmer today.
Lindsay: Well, right.
Lawyer: Huh. Donít worry. Hopefully, with a little luck, you'll be out on bail by tonight. Hang in there.
Lindsay: Marcie --
[Door opens and closes]
Lindsay: Donít let Todd take that baby away from you. You do whatever you have to do.
Marcie: I will. I promise you that no matter what, I wonít give him up.
Lindsay: Thatís my good girl.
Markko: Hey, whatís the matter with you? All you do is go off on people. Donít you have a life? Why donít you go get one and leave us alone?
Britney: Huh. Leave you alone? When itís so much fun to drive you all crazy? And I mean, itís so easy with Starrís family always doing something stupid to talk about.
Langston: Oh, shut up, you bitch!
Starr: Ok, thanks, guys. Thereís nothing that Britney can do anymore, because I've been hearing cracks about my parents ever since I was 3 years old. And you have made sure that everybody in the school knows everything that there is to know about my family. And itís over. And I feel sorry for you, because you have to live the rest of your life being you.
Cole: Yeah, so why donít you go take a hike? Hey -- donít ever, ever talk about my mom again. You know nothing about her.
Britney: You do know that no matter which way this court case goes, you'll lose.
Cole: Hey -- sorry.
Starr: Like I said, I'm used to it.
Cole: Well, I have to get changed for class.
Markko: Yeah, me, too.
Langston: Oh, wait. Um -- what you said before -- that was really cool.
Langston: You sure you're ok?
Starr: I donít care about Britney. The only person I can think about is Tommy. I watched him so many times, and heís my brother. If the McBains -- if they win this case, I'm never going to see him again.
Cristian: Seriously, think about it. Why should booking bands be any different than taking a drink order? Or making your bed after you've slept in it? Or even cleaning out the shower drain after you washed your hair?
Sarah: Oh, come -- that is not fair.
Cristian: You never finish anything you start, Sarah.
Sarah: Why donít you tell me how you really feel?
Cristian: I just did.
Sarah: Oh. Well, I'm sorry I make your life such a living hell, Cristian.
Cristian: All right, all right, all right -- stop being such a drama queen, all right? Thatís not what I said.
Sarah: Well, donít worry about it. I will make sure that adult ADD girl is completely out from under your feet. And you -- you can book the Llanview Flute Trio for all I care. See how many people you get in here.
Cristian: All right, I'll do it.
Sarah: You'll do what?
Cristian: I'll do your little bet.
Vincent: Are you serious about the two of us moving in together?
Layla: Uh-huh. And if it all works out, in a few months, we can take the next step.
Vincent: The next step?
Layla: Mm-hmm. Shopping for rings, of course.
Layla: Come on, baby. Look at your face.
Vincent: Are you playing me?
Layla: I never thought you would be this easy, Vincent.
Vincent: So you donít want to move in together.
Layla: Uh-uh. Letís leave that up to Rex and Adriana. Feel better?
Adriana: I think Layla understands. Donít you?
Rex: Well, I'm not so sure Vincentís happy that I mentioned he and Layla should live together, but Laylaís ok. I can tell.
Adriana: I wonder what Blairís up to. God, if she tells Todd anything --
Rex: Ok, if she does, I'll handle it.
Adriana: Ever wish you had done things differently?
Rex: What, and -- and told Todd as soon as I figured out who Tommy was? Nope.
Adriana: If Todd finds out that you knew, heís never going to forget it. And neither will Blair. If there was an Olympics in grudge holding, they would win the gold medal.
Rex: Tommyís where he belongs, and heís going to stay there.
John: I'm going to split.
Michael: Oh, all right. Um -- well, thanks, you know, for taking care of Tommy, and for everything.
John: Hang in there, bro.
Marcie: Oh. Hi.
Michael: John came back with me after I picked up Tommy.
Marcie: Hmm. Did he give you any problems?
John: Well, we had a heated debate about the benefits of oatmeal, but I caved --
John: And everything was fine.
Marcie: Well, thank you.
John: Yeah, anytime. Call me if anything changes.
John: I'll see you.
Michael: You go and see Lindsay?
Michael: Howís she doing?
Marcie: Um -- she seems strange, mike.
Michael: Is that why you're upset?
Marcie: You -- did you talk to John about our case?
Michael: Yeah. Yeah, we talked about it. Heís telling me it doesnít look so good. Why? She say something to you?
Marcie: Well, you know -- um -- all she really wanted to talk about was Tommy. She said that we have to do whatever it takes to hold on to him.
Todd: I got to get out of here. I canít think. All I can hear is the McBains' lawyer trying to make me sound like a serial killer.
Blair: Where are you going?
Todd: I donít know.
Blair: Ok, well, you call me if you come up with any ideas.
Blair: I'll do the same.
Todd: Of course.
Blair: Of course.
Layla: The look on his face -- oh, my gosh.
Vincent: I was just playing along. I knew you didnít want me moving in with you.
Rex: Sorry I brought it up.
Vincent: Itís cool.
Adriana: So, what are you going to do? Advertise for a roommate or something?
Layla: I donít want to. I definitely do not want to live with a stranger.
Adriana: Well, yeah.
Sarah: Wait -- you need a roommate?
Vincent: What we need are some drinks.
Sarah: Wait a minute. You guys took my advice? You're moving in together, right?
Adriana: Not because of anything you said.
Sarah: Come on, Layla. Come on. You need a roommate, and everybody in the immediate universe knows that Cristian canít wait to get rid of me. What do you say?
Nora: I wish to god this wasnít happening, I really do. But as dear to me as you are, I have a job to do, and I have to do it. I canít make any exceptions. And if you donít think that kills me to think of you being left all alone, you're wrong.
Will: God, I wish Dad was here.
Nora: Oh, God. Me, too. Every day.
Nora: Yeah? Oh. Thanks. Itís time for court. Itís time for your mother to make a plea.
Lindsay: Is it time for me to go to court?
Guard: Thereís no word yet, but you have another visitor.
Blair: Hey, Lindsay.
Lindsay: I canít imagine what could possibly bring you here.
Blair: Well, I came to make you an offer.
Lindsay: What kind of offer?
Blair: You help Todd, I help you. Interested?
[Knock on door]
Michael: What are you doing here? What do have to do? Do I have to get a restraining order?
Todd: No, that wonít be necessary.
Marcie: Look, Todd, you cannot see Tommy. This isnít right.
Todd: No, I want to talk to you guys. I'd like to know how much itís going to cost me if I wanted to buy my kid back.
Michael: Thatís a joke, right?

Jessica: Jared is blackmailing me.
Blair: Put that baby back where he belongs, please.
