Tess: I can't find it!
Nash: Clint had it last time I saw it. Maybe he took it somewhere for safekeeping.
Tess: Can you please just forget that you ever saw that tape?
Nash: Wait a minute. Found it.
Tess: Thank god. Thank go as long as Jessica never sees this, she'll never be able to get rid of me.
Cristian: Mc Bain, what are you doing here?
John: Uh -- I was looking for Michael -- told me he was in here. Heard you came in to get your hand examined. How is it?
Cristian: It's fine. I only came because Natalie wouldn't shut up till I did. Everyone's making a big deal out of nothing.
Natalie: Yeah, well, we don't know that that -- we're waiting for Michael now.
Cristian: Look, you're going to have to get used to the fact that I'm going to bruise my knuckles every once in a while. Occupational hazard -- it happens.
Natalie: Yeah, well, you better hope that that's all it is, is just bruises, Cristian.
Michael: Hey. I just took a look at your x-rays.
Cristian: And? Will I still be able to fight?
Natalie: More importantly, will he be able to paint again?
Blair: Hi, Spencer.
Spencer: Uh-oh. You don't look too happy to see me. What's going on?
Blair: Well, I just thought maybe you were Starr, you know? She -- I haven't seen her since she left the hospital.
Spencer: Well, did you try to call her?
Blair: Yeah. I tried to call her twice, left messages and haven't heard anything. I just would feel so much better, wouldn't worry about her if she were home.
Ricky: No problem. And you idiots, lay off of her -- now.
Adam: Why should we? You friends with this little freak?
Starr: No, he's not. I've never seen him before, so why don't you just get lost, ok? I can take care of myself.
Girl: Oh, yeah? What are you going to do -- kill us all? Or maybe daddy dearest will do it for you.
Starr: My dad didnít kill anyone, ok? He's innocent.
Ricky: All right, guys, back off. I mean it.
Neil: No, you back off, loser. This is between us and the baby killer's kid.
Todd: Wake up, Vickers.
Todd: Come on.
David: Yeah. What the hell --
Todd: Wake up.
David: Todd? Where am I?
Todd: Come on, wake up, wake up. I need you awake.
David: If you left a mark on my face, I'm going to kill you.
Todd: I need your help.
David: You want to run that by me again?
Todd: I said I need your help.
David: Yeah, that's -- that's what I thought you said. You --H. You know, this is just a suggestion, but you might not want to use violence when you're asking somebody for a favor.
Todd: I had to make sure you wouldn't run to the cops.
David: I think you know that I make it a habit to stay away from the cops. Besides, if I turned you in, it would've been Bo and the Boys in blue that showed up on that road in the middle of nowhere, not yours truly, so you want to untie me? This is Tico Santi's old place. You hit me on -- on the head with a rock so you could drag me out to Tico Santi's old place? If you told me on the phone, I just would've met you here.
Todd: Would you have come?
David: I guess that's a good question. Spending time with a convicted double-murderer is not my idea of good health.
Todd: Wrongfully convicted. And you're going to help me prove it.
David: Why would I help you? You've been nothing but pain and misery to people that I care about.
Todd: Huh, I didnít think you cared about anybody but yourself.
David: That's a myth. I happen to give a damn about a lot of people -- Dorian, for example, and Kelly.
Todd: And Blair. Look what I did to poor Blair and my poor children.
David: And not to mention what you've done to me. You know what? Spending time in Statesville -- you think that's bad? You ought to spend time in a Moroccan prison.
Todd: That was a long time ago.
David: Yeah? Well, two years in a hellhole like that -- you don't quickly forget that.
Todd: Do you want an apology?
David: Cash works. I'm not doing anything for you for nothing. I hate your guts.
Todd: I think you hate your brother's guts more than you hate mine. And I think you're sick and tired of sucking up all that anger towards him. I think you want to do something about it.
Spencer: I mean, it's not particularly late for Starr to be out, is it?
Spencer: Well, does she usually check in with you or --
Blair: Never. I -- yeah, I just worry because Todd's out there.
Spencer: You're thinking he might try to take the kids?
Blair: No. I think that would be too risky for him, but I do think he might try to contact her. He's -- he's done it before -- you know, I'm sorry. I'm just going to be on edge until they catch Todd.
Spencer: All right. Just tell me what to do.
Blair: You can make my daughter call me. That would help.
Spencer: I can't do that. We can jump in the car and drive around and look for her if you like.
Blair: Oh, I can't do that. Jack's -- Jack's sleeping. I just -- I feel badly for Starr, and I know she's happy for Matthew that Nora's coming around, but I know that she -- I know that she really wants a reunion like that with her father.
Spencer: Maybe she just needs a little time alone, then.
Blair: Well, it's a family trait. When the Mannings get hurt, we do things that aren't good for ourselves, including me.
Spencer: You mean like spending the night with me?
Blair: Spencer, I didnít mean it like that. Will you just ignore me, please?
Spencer: No, I can't. I'm sorry, that's impossible.
Blair: Oh. I know I should give her some space. I know she wants it and it was so sweet of you to offer to drive around and look for her. You've done so much for my -- maybe too much for my kids.
Spencer: It sounds kind of like a loaded statement, Blair.
Blair: I just don't know if Jack and Starr are ready to accept you as anything other than a friend.
Spencer: Ahem. So in other words, you're saying we need to keep our relationship a secret?
Ricky: You got anything else to say?
Girl: You really could've hurt him.
Ricky: Good answer.
Starr: Yeah, well, maybe he should learn to keep his big mouth shut. And you, too.
Girl: Hey! That bag was, like, $500!
Starr: Yeah? Well, now it's trash.
Adam: Let's get out of here, man.
Neil: Fine by me. These two losers aren't worth the time. Come on, Gretchen.
Ricky: So I guess we really showed them, didnít we?
Starr: "We?" Where do you get off trying to butt into my life?
Clint: Tess, Nash, it's -- it's good to have you back. We've been worried about you.
Tess: Yeah, well, you can stop. And you don't have to plan a "welcome home" party. We just came back to take care of a few things and say goodbye hopefully for the last time.
Nash: Didnít realize you were out of the hospital.
Antonio: Yeah. Well, it looks like I got out just in time.
Tess: No, actually, you're too late. Now I know why everyBody was so hot to get me back here -- you wanted Jessica to see the tape. Well, what a shame she never will.
Viki: Tess? That's a copy. The police have the original and Dr. Jamison has a copy, as well, so eventually Jessie will see it.
Antonio: Viki and Clint filled me in.
Tess: What, did they give you a private screening?
Antonio: I don't need to see it. I'm sorry that that happened to you.
Tess: Save your pity party for somebody who cares. You feeling sorry for me is not going to bring Jessica back.
Antonio: That's not what I'm trying to do. Look, all I was trying to say is that if I ever get my hands on that sick son of a bitch --
Tess: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Been there, done that.
Nash: We just came from there. Tess tracked the guy down.
Viki: You went to confront him?
Tess: No, I went to kill him.
Blair: Spencer, please don't get me wrong. You -- I'm really happy the way things are going and I don't feel that we need to hide or we need to be embarrassed about anything, but you know what? You don't have kids. What's going on between us, it -- it certainly makes things complicated.
Spencer: I understand. Maybe Jack and Starr aren't ready to have a man in their mother's life. I get it. I'm willing to follow your lead. You're a great mother and I trust you to make the right decision for your kids.
Blair: You are just so damn understanding.
Spencer: Well, you're the woman I want to be with, all right? So, if we need to keep things between us, that's fine. It's a bit of a switch, though.
Spencer: The grownups running around behind the kids' backs.
Spencer: I mean --
Blair: Could be fun.
Spencer: Listen, I'm ok with it. I don't care if anyBody knows that we're lovers. It doesn't matter to me as long as we're together, because I know someday I'll be able to tell the whole world that I'm in love with the most beautiful woman in it and maybe someday Jack and Starr will accept me as the man that their mother wants to be with.
Blair: Well, I want that someday, too.
Viki: You went to kill the man who made the tapes?
Nash: But she couldn't do it.
Viki: Well, thank god for that.
Clint: What's his name?
Tess: Don't tell him, Nash. I don't want him to hurt anybody else.
Antonio: We need to know so that we can bring him to justice.
Nash: He's already served prison time for child pornography -- not for our Tess, of course. But he has paid, and I'm sure he'll pay some more as soon as he gets to hell, which should be quite soon. By the looks of him, he's quite ill. He's in a nursing home.
Tess: Let's just drop this, ok? We need to concentrate on the baby now.
Viki: Sounds like something Jessica would say.
Tess: Well, it's not Jessica. It's me and I'm sorry to disappoint you. Actually, I haven't heard a peep out of her since you guys found the tape. Strange, because usually she's in there stirring about, trying to get out, telling me how to run my life. I don't feel her at all. Hmm. I think it's finally over. So, guys, do your worst. Really, I'm ready for it. It's not going to make any difference. Nash loves me, I love him -- makes me strong. You're not going to see Jessica again. She's gone and she's not coming back.
Cristian: So, what's the deal? It's nothing, right?
Michael: Uh -- you're lucky. It's not too serious, but you've injured that hand before, right?
Cristian: Yeah, yeah, in a car accident, but that -- that was years ago. It doesn't bother me anymore.
Michael: Something like that can flare up, especially when you aggravate it the way you did tonight.
Cristian: But you said I was ok.
Michael: You're ok, but there's some damage. You tore some ligaments in your wrist. Listen, I'm going to have you wear a sling for a little while.
Cristian: Whoa, whoa, wait, wait. Is that necessary?
Michael: It's the only way I can ensure you're not going to move it. I'll be right back.
John: I need to talk to you when you get a chance.
Michael: See you.
Cristian: Told you -- it's nothing. I'm fine.
Natalie: Uh -- I -- I don't think I'd call that "nothing," Cris. You have to wear a sling. You know what? I -- I got to make a phone call. I'll be right back.
John: I -- I guess I owe you an apology.
Cristian: About what?
John: Well, apparently that wouldn't have happened if, you know, I hadn't gotten into it with the guy that was hassling Natalie. Someone said you got distracted.
Cristian: Ah, so why'd you go after him anyway?
John: Well, between you and me, he's -- he's not an old friend. I checked him out, and it's scum like that are exactly the reason why I didnít want her getting involved in this. She seems to forget it's a murder investigation, could be dangerous.
Natalie: Yeah, Atlantic City? Um -- yeah, I need the number for a Vince Jones. Or it could also be "Vincent." Oh, yeah, five of them -- ok. Give them all to me, please. One of these guys ought to know something about who killed Thomas Mc Bain. I have...
Cristian: So you think because of what happened at the fight, Natalie's just going to back off digging into your dad's murder?
John: I seriously doubt it.
Cristian: You know, when she usually makes up her mind about something, she doesn't give up that easily.
John: Tell me about it.
Cristian: So what are you going to do to keep her off the case?
John: Just going to have to get this one solved fast before Natalie ends up getting hurt.
Natalie: Hi. Is this Vince Jones? Yes -- um -- well, I'm sorry. You don't know me, but I'm actually looking for an old friend -- well, actually, a friend of my father's. Yes, are you familiar with a Rocco Lasardo? No. Ok, I'm sorry to bother you.
Ricky: I think what you meant to say was "thank you for saving my butt" and you're welcome, by the way.
Starr: I didnít need for you to save me, ok? I get that kind of crap from everybody at school.
Starr: Who asked you to help me anyway? I don't need a hero.
Ricky: That's a good thing because I'm really not the hero type.
Starr: Then why'd you punch that kid?
Ricky: Because he was a jerk and someone had to shut him up.
Starr: Yeah, well, I could've done that myself.
Ricky: Yeah, well, I guess I had another reason, too -- I thought you were kind of cute. Ricky.
Ricky: Yeah, I know.
Starr: How? You watch the news, right? You heard all the stuff about my dad? Well, it's not true, ok?
Ricky: I only read the sports section. But I've seen you around school. I asked a friend of mine what your name was.
Starr: How come?
Ricky: Because I wanted to know what your name was.
Ricky: That's a nice move with that girl's bag.
Starr: Yeah, I know. It's definitely ruined.
Ricky: Hey -- use this.
Starr: Oh, thanks.
Ricky: No, no, keep it. It's something to remember me by.
Blair: Starr, it is your mother calling you again. Please, please call home when you get this, all right, sweetheart? I'm worried about you. Tell you what -- if she doesn't call in 30 minutes, I am sending out a posse.
Spencer: All right, take it easy.
Blair: I am, I'm --
Spencer: Take it easy. There's no sense in getting all worked up over something you have no control over anyway, right?
Blair: Well, Spencer --
Spencer: Listen, take a deep breath, relax.
Spencer: Doctor's orders. Good.
Spencer: Attagirl. Close your eyes.
Blair: They're closed.
Spencer: Ok. Relax those shoulders -- that's good. All right, now, I want you to visualize --
Spencer: A beach.
Blair: I see it.
Spencer: A beach with white sand that stretches as far as the eye can see with no one else on it.
Blair: Ok, I see it. It's beautiful.
Spencer: Oh, yeah, really? What color is the water, then?
Blair: Um -- blue.
Spencer: It's perfect, isn't it?
Blair: What is this? Is this some kind of stress seduction/reduction thing?
Spencer: Uh-uh. That's where I'm going to take you as soon as we go public with our relationship.
Blair: You always seem to know what I need.
David: I would love to see Spencer get what never seems to be coming to him. I thought you actually had a viable plan. Apparently, all you want me to do is do your dirty work for you, so no. You picked the wrong ally.
Todd: You hate me that much?
David: Whether I hate you is irrelevant. I don't have anything on Spencer. I can't help you.
Todd: So, let me get this straight. I'm going to get the lethal injection --
Todd: And you won't help me because you're too much of a freaking coward to stand up to your brother.
David: Yeah, that pretty much sums it up.
Todd: Vickers, I'm innocent. I didnít do it.
David: I know you didnít.
Todd: You do?
David: I know you didnít kill Margaret Cochran.
David: Because Spencer did it.
Viki: Actually, Tess, I agree with you. Whatever we know -- wherever Jessica is right now, the important thing is for you and the baby to be safe and healthy. And given what you've been through today, you must be exhausted.
Tess: You know, for once in your life, you're right. I'm beat.
Viki: Well, why don't you go to sleep?
Tess: Yeah. I should go to bed. Come with me?
Nash: Of course.
Nash: All right.
Antonio: Tess is lying. Jessica can't be gone.
Viki: Jessie's not gone. Jessie can never be gone. She's the host personality. But she is buried very, very deeply right now in the recesses of her own mind. I guess she just must be terrified to face the truth about what happened to her.
Antonio: So what do we need to do to get through to her?
Clint: All I know is it's not going to be easy.
Nash: Here. Take your vitamins, Mommy.
Tess: Ok, Boss.
Nash: So, what you were saying earlier downstairs, about Jessica being gone forever --
Tess: I was bluffing. Sorry, Babe.
Nash: It's all right.
Tess: But I do feel stronger than ever. More myself.
Nash: Nah, Viki and Clint wonít buy it. Antonio, either. They're going to fight to get their Jessica back.
Tess: Well, let them fight. I'm not going anywhere. Nothing's going to take me away from you.
Antonio: This is all my fault. Why did I have to be out of commission for so long? I should have been here for Jess, helping her stay strong, helping her stand up to Tess. We love each other. That used to be enough to bring her back before.
Viki: And I think that that is the only thing that will bring her back now.
Clint: Antonio, we're counting on you. You need to help us save our daughter.
Todd: So Spencer set me up? He killed Margaret?
David: That's right.
Todd: Are you sure?
David: I'm positive!
Todd: Yes. Yes, I've got you, you son of a bitch. I've got you. What a slime. So the good doctor's a killer, right?
David: I always thought Spencer would stick to the small stuff -- cons and blackmail, manipulation. I never pegged him for murder. I thought the healer in him would prevent him from doing that. But all that changed when he met Blair. And it all started as soon as they met. He would have done anything for Blair. And apparently, he did.
Todd: You got any proof?
David: I'm sorry, I don't.
Todd: Then you're going to have to get some.
[Key turns in lock]
Blair: Hi -- honey.
Starr: Did I interrupt anything?
Natalie: I was just calling Gloria -- make sure she was covering my shift.
John: Ah. You know, forensic techs are on call 24/7. You're going to have to give up on the flexible schedules.
Natalie: What? So you don't think I'm up for it? I mean, I'm -- I am.
John: Well, I know you're up to it. Yeah. What else are you up to?
Natalie: What do you mean?
John: What do I mean? Come on, your old pool buddy at the -- at the fight tonight? Want to tell me what that's really about?
Natalie: I -- John, I -- I told you who he was. I mean, come on. Do you seriously think that everything in life has something to do with you?
John: I'm not sure what that means.
Cristian: So how long before I can put the gloves back on?
Michael: Oh, if it were up to me, you'd keep your hands in your pockets for the rest of your life. Ok, it's a bad joke. Listen, I've seen more than my fair share of sports injuries come through this place. You? You were lucky. You'll be good in about a month.
Cristian: A month? I can't wait that long.
Michael: Well, I'm sorry, Cris, you're going to have to.
Cristian: Yeah, but, I mean, isn't there something you can do?
Michael: Well, I could shoot you up with cortisone and you'd feel good for a while. You'd be able to use your hand right away. But it wouldn't be healed. And you go pommeling somebody because you don't feel the pain, you're going to end up back here. This time, the damage will be permanent.
Cristian: You don't understand. I need to fight. That's how I'm making my money now.
Michael: You don't understand. I'm your physician. I'm advising you to take a couple of weeks off -- at least a few weeks. You know, you keep throwing punches with that hand, you could lose use of the hand for good. I'm going to go get your discharge papers.
Cristian: Yeah, hey. Hey, Rourke. No, no, it's -- it's fine. It -- nothing's broken. Washburn? Yeah, I'd like to fight him. He's pretty good. When did you have in mind? Sure. I'll be ready.
Todd: I can't do this on my own, David. You're the only one who can prove Spencer killed Margaret.
David: I wouldn't even know where to begin.
Todd: I -- it seems pretty easy to me. Tap his phone. Plant a bug in his office. Follow him around. Harass him, drive him crazy -- I don't care, just get the evidence.
David: What if the evidence doesn't even exist?
Todd: It does. There's no such thing as a perfect crime. Just, we got to lead the cops in the right direction.
David: Oh, yeah? How are we going to do that? "Hey, the doctor did it." The case is closed, Todd.
Todd: No --
David: Nobody even cares!
Todd: There's got to be at least one way to point the finger at Spencer.
David: So, let me get this straight. We have established that my brother is capable of first-degree murder. So you want me to stick out my neck to save yours? I wouldn't do that for a million bucks.
Todd: How about 2 million?
David: Yeah, all right, I'll do it.
Todd: All right, when you get the evidence, go to the cops. Not before. And don't come back here. It's too dangerous.
David: I can hardly wait.
Todd: Hey, listen to me. If you turn me in, they're going to put me to death, but I'll put you to death first.
David: I'll do what I can, Todd, but we're talking about Spencer here. I know him. Once you think you've got something on him, he usually has an ace stashed up his lab coat.
[Door opens and closes]
Blair: Spencer just -- um -- he -- he came by to tell me how Nora was doing.
Starr: How is she?
Spencer: Oh, she's recovering. It's going to take a little time, but she's doing pretty well, considering.
Starr: That's great. I'm happy for Matthew.
Spencer: Actually, I think Matthew is probably the one I'm a little more worried about. You know, I think he's going to need a friend, someone to talk to. Everybody could use a friend to talk to when they're going through something like this. If you have any questions about Nora's recovery, I -- I'd be more than happy to explain things. I think I should be going. Ahem.
Spencer: Look, I'm -- I'm sorry.
Blair: It's ok.
Spencer: See you later.
Blair: Ok, ok.
Spencer: See you soon.
Blair: Ok, absolutely.
Blair: I left you many messages on your cell phone. Did you not get the messages?
Starr: My phone must have been off.
Blair: Where were you?
Starr: Angel square. I ran into a couple of people from school.
Blair: Did you have a good time?
Starr: Yeah, if you think a good time is being called names by a bunch of stuck-up brats. Not to mention all the things they were telling me about dad.
Blair: Sweetie, I am so sorry. I'm sorry you're having to suffer because of the things that your father did. I mean, it's horrible that he's putting you through all this.
Starr: Mom! Would you stop saying all these awful things about dad? Huh. It's hard enough having to hear them from people that I barely know, yet alone you?
Blair: It just makes me very angry, all right? Look, I hope that someday we can talk about all this. And you're going to understand what's really going on.
Starr: Yeah, and maybe one day, you'll get over dad, and you'll find someone else. Unless you already have.
Clint: Thanks. Dr. Jamison wants to consult with Dr. Crosby. They'll get back to us as soon as possible.
Antonio: Good. Because I can't wait any longer. The sooner we get Jessica back, the sooner we can deal with that tape. Whatever I need to do, I'll do it.
Viki: Just love her.
Clint: You know, if we could just coax Jessie out -- everything is in place for her to finally be integrated.
Viki: Well, it's not that easy. It's a long, difficult process.
Clint: Yeah, I remember. As much as I want my daughter to be well, I feel sorry for those two young people upstairs. Those poor kids -- if our plan works, they could lose everything.
Spencer: What are you doing, David? You look a little bewildered.
David: I could have sworn I left my cell phone here somewhere, and --
Spencer: Check with the nurses' station.
David: Have you seen my cell phone? They haven't seen my cell phone.
Spencer: Excuse me. Yeah, this is Dr. Truman. Yeah, of course, of course. Look, tell Dr. Drummond I will confer with him in the morning. I just have to stop by my office, pick up a few papers. I'm on my way home. Yeah, whatever's good for him. Thank you. I hope you find whatever it is you're looking for.
David: Yeah, so do I.
Michael: Please, Cristian, don't take the sling off til I check you out again.
Natalie: I hope you're listening to him, Cristian. I mean, this could have been a lot worse. I guess at least it'll keep you out of the ring for a while.
Cristian: Thanks, Michael.
Michael: Not a problem. And I'm serious. Keep the sling on till I check you out.
John: Get better.
John: You -- you getting out of here anytime soon?
Michael: Right now. You want to go have a beer?
John: I need to talk to you. It's -- it's about dad's murder.
Michael: What about it?
John: I could use your help, Mike.
Michael: Anything you need. Anything at all.
John: Good. I'll tell you about it on the way.
Michael: All right.
Natalie: Oh -- disconnected. Great.
Blair: The only thing that I worry about are you and Jack, and giving you guys a normal life.
Starr: Are you sure there isn't anything you want to tell me?
Blair: Just that I love you. I love you so very much.
Starr: I love you, too, mom.
Blair: Hey, hey. Forgot something. Something you're not telling me?
Todd: Don't let me down, Vickers.
Tess: What do you think about "Mary?"
Nash: Mary, Mary, quite contrary.
Nash: I thought we'd agreed on "Grape." "Mary" was so -- oh, I don't know -- normal?
Tess: I know. That's what I like about it.
Nash: I never thought I'd hear you say that. I love you. I will always take care of you. I will always be there to shake those ghosts off your back. And I will never let your past hurt you again.
Clint: Can I get you something?
Antonio: No, thanks. It's as if she never had a care in the world.
Clint: Yeah. That's what we all thought.
Antonio: This is Jessica. That look in her eye, I -- I miss her so much.
Clint: So do I, son.
Antonio: This -- this integration thing -- it's -- it's going to work, right?
Clint: It has to. Jessica can't go on like this much longer. And once the baby is Born, it's going to need its mother full-time. And no matter what happens, we all have to get together and protect this child so that this never happens again.
Antonio: Oh, it wonít. I wonít let it.
Clint: When Jess was a little baby, I would have said the same thing. But look at the lousy job that I did.
Antonio: But you're here now.
Clint: Thanks, but that's not nearly good enough.
Antonio: Clint, Tess is the result of a -- of a horrible thing.
Clint: I know, it's unthinkable. You feel bad for her, you feel bad for Both of them.
Antonio: Why? Why? I just want to get rid of them.
Clint: Antonio, you tend not to see the big picture.
Antonio: I love Jessica. That's all I need to see.
Clint: Well, then you need to do a little growing. Because if she does overcome this --
Antonio: And she will.
Clint: Probably. But sometimes, wounds like this -- they never heal.
Antonio: And Nash understands that.
Clint: Don't ask me to take sides. I want what's best for my daughter, no matter what that turns out to be. Now, I know that you and Jessie love each other. But Nash and Tess love each other just as much.
Antonio: Yeah. Except for them, it's a fantasy.
Clint: Antonio, no. The way they feel, with all that passion -- it doesn't get any more real than that. And it breaks my heart to know that that can't last.
John: This is it.
Michael: Your source -- you sure that this guy, Snyder -- he's sure that he's the guy that operated on dad the night he died?
John: We're about to find out.
Michael: John, how do you know he's going to be here?
John: I suppose he's been here almost every night since he retired.
Michael: It's the closest you've come to a solid lead on dad's case, John. Are you sure you're going to be able to handle what you might find?
John: I have to, Mike. Or else I wonít be able to live with myself.
On the next "One Life to Live" --
Natalie: I want John to want me.
John: I want to know why you let my dad die.
Tess: It's not fair. I'm your mommy, too.
