Blair: Starr was right. She was here, right in this office. Oh my God. She could have kidnapped Starr, or worse, Todd.

Todd: Honey --

Blair: And don't -- don't you try to protect me.  Don't you try to keep me from being scared because right now my skin is ready to jump off of my body.  This isn't about us, Todd.  This is about our kids, and I swear to you, if Margaret's in town, I want to know.  I need to know.  Now, is she?  Is she here?

Todd: I think she may be.

[Margaret screams]

Margaret: Oh, no!  No, this isn't fair!  Please, I can't lose my baby.  You can't take away my baby boy.

[Margaret screams]

Carlotta: I read in the paper about what happened -- you know, finding Natalie.

Evangeline: Yeah.  It was quite a night.

Carlotta: I went by the hospital to see her this morning, but she was asleep.  You have any more news about how she's doing?

Layla: How do you think she's doing?  Considering she's in the arms of my sister's boyfriend.

Michael: I just got Natalie's blood work back.

Viki: And?

Michael: Everything checks out.  Hard to believe after everything she's been through, but I really think she can go home today.

Viki: Oh, that's wonderful.  Thank you.  Thank you, both of you, for everything that you've done.

Michael: We're just happy that everything worked out.  If you'll excuse me.

Viki: Sure.

John: Thanks, Mike.

Michael: No sweat.

John: Natalie's going home.  That's good news.

Viki: Yeah, it is.  Do you have a minute?

John: Of course.

Viki: I realize that you're very uncomfortable accepting my thanks, but I meant what I said.  What you did was way beyond the call of duty, and I will never be able to repay you.

John: It's my job.

Viki: Yes, it's your job, but it was much, much more than your job.  I know that you care about my daughter, and frankly, I could never possibly ask for a better friend for Natalie, or for my whole family, for that matter.

John: No matter whatever happens, I'll always have Natalie's best interest at heart.

Viki: I know.  I guess I just have to wonder, you know, what your true feelings for each other are.

Natalie: Get away from me!

Viki: Natalie --

Matthew: I thought the ball was going way over my head, but then I just reached up and it was right there in my glove.

Bo: You snagged that thing like you were playing in the big leagues.

Paige: Yeah, maybe someday he will.

Matthew: I want to show all the guys.  Thanks, Paige.  I had a great time.

Paige: It was my pleasure.  But aren't you forgetting somebody?

Matthew: Oh, yeah, right.  You, too, dad.  Thanks.

Bo: You're welcome.  I can't believe you got tickets right on the first-base line.

Paige: Ah, Dr. Schaefer owed me one.

Bo: Yeah, but you don't even really like baseball.

Paige: Oh, I like it, just not as much as basketball.  It's just so great to see Matthew so happy.  He's a great kid.

Bo: You're so great with him, too.  Which makes me think --

Paige: What?

Bo: Well, I know you regret never raising a child of your own, but you still can.  I think you'd be a wonderful mother

Paige: Are you and I really prepared to have this conversation?

Bo: I meant, I just -- I meant --

Paige: That's ok.  It's sweet of you to say it.  But right now I have to get back to the hospital, check on some patients.

Bo: Oh.  Oh, yeah, yeah, nice escape, doc.  You know what, I thought we decided there's no working today.

Paige: Yeah, and yet here we are at the police station where you work.  Hmm.

Bo: Oh

Paige: Don't worry, I'll be right back.  No more than half an hour, promise.

Evangeline: Carlotta, I would like you to meet my sister, Layla, who's missing the part of her brain that tells her when to keep her mouth shut.

Layla: Well, it's true, isn't it?  Natalie gets what she wants, and you're a mess.

Carlotta: Would you like to order your own lunch?

Layla: Yeah, that'd be great.

Carlotta: I'll put the order right in.

Layla: No, wait -- not this.  This food will kill you.  I'll have a salad -- no cheese, no croutons, dry, with a smidge of balsamic vinegar on the side.  What?  Did I say something wrong?

Evangeline: I don't even know where to start.

Layla: Oh, come on, Vange, she's just a waitress with a bad attitude.

Evangeline: Her name is Carlotta Vega and she's not just a waitress, she actually owns this place.

Layla: "Vega" as in Antonio?

Evangeline: Yes, and as in Cristian Vega, Natalie's late husband.  She is their mother.

Layla: Ok.  I agree, I was a little insensitive.  But when I walked in here and heard her talking about poor little Natalie, I just lost it.

Evangeline: Do I have to remind you that Natalie almost suffered a slow and horrible death?

Layla: Look, I didn't mean to say I wanted anyone dead.

Evangeline: That's reassuring.

Layla: All I know is my sister's in a lot of pain, ok, and I just wanted to let her know I was on your side.

Evangeline: There are no sides, Layla.  It's not a war.

Layla: You can say that again.  You've totally given up and handed Natalie everything that should be yours on a silver platter.

Natalie: If you come one step closer, I swear --

John: Who are you, huh?

Man: Yo, I'm a reporter from "The Sun."

John: Yeah?

Viki: "The Sun?"  Let me tell you something, my brother owns "The Sun."  You're looking to be fired.

Man: Todd Manning sent me.  Anyway, I think I've got enough for a sidebar.  "Heiress still shaken after near-death experience."

John: Yeah, well, your time's up.  You come back, you'll be arrested. Now get the hell out.  You ok?  Huh?

Natalie: Yeah, thanks.

Viki: I'll talk to Todd about this.

Natalie: I can handle some stupid reporter.  I just -- I was having these dreams.

Viki: I can imagine, sweetheart.

Natalie: Yeah, when I woke up, he was there and just freaked me out.  I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you.

Viki: Oh, honey, don't worry about me.

Natalie: Oh.  You were here all night last night, weren't you?

John: Yeah, you shouldn't -- you shouldn't be alone.

Viki: Well, I'm going to make sure the security at Llanfair keeps the reporters away.

Natalie: You mean I'm -- home?

Viki: Hmm.

Michael: That's right.  You're being released today.

Natalie: Oh, my God, I can't believe it!  My own room, my own bed!

Michael: And no more looking up and seeing me and my brother's ugly mugs.  You must be getting sick of us, huh?

Natalie: Yeah, real sick of you.

Margaret: I have to save my baby.

Margaret: Oh.  No, I can't.  The police.  Oh.  There has to be somebody who doesn't know who I am or what I've done.  Oh, wait a second.  There is.  Hold on, Toddy.

Margaret: Mommy is going to take care of us now.

[Margaret groans]

Blair: When did you see her?  Was it tonight?  Was she here tonight, Todd?

Todd: Look, I said she might be, I didn't say she was.

Blair: We've got to call the security, we've got to call at the house --

Todd: No, no --

Blair: Because we got to protect ourselves, Todd.

Todd: No, we are protecting ourselves.  I promised you I'd find her and I will.

Blair: We can't do it alone.  We got to call the cops.

Todd: No!  Can't do that.

Blair: Why not?

Todd: Because I've got it under control.  You know, I've got a platoon of P.I.S out there searching every square inch of this building, looking for evidence of Margaret.  If she's here, they'll find her.

Blair: Well, Todd, we got to get them up here to get fingerprints.

Todd: No!

Blair: What -- what are you hiding from me?

Todd: I'm not hiding anything from you.

Blair: No, you're acting like you're hiding something from me.  What is it?  What?

Todd: Listen to me.  The only peace of mind our children are going to ha is if they know that their father is taking care of things, and I am.  I swear on my life.

Blair: It's the children.  Margaret came back because of the baby.  Your baby, Todd.

Todd: For the last time, there is no baby.

Blair: That's why it's never going to stop.  It's never going to stop.

Todd: What does that mean?

Blair: That crazy bitch wants a child, Todd.  She wants your child and she's never going to be satisfied till she gets one.

Todd: Don't be ridiculous.

Blair: Oh, I'm being ridiculous?  She already used my life to force you to have sex with her.  Now, what's going to stop her from going after jack's life next or Starr's?  How can you --

Todd: I'm going to stop her.

Blair: Give me that guarantee, Todd?  You can't!

Todd: See, this is what I'm talking about!  You're getting yourself all worked up over nothing!

Blair: Nothing?  I knew you were going to say that.  Like the time I went over to Asa's mansion and attacked Kevin?

Todd: Yes, exactly that time!

Blair: Oh, you know what?  You can go to hell, Todd!

Todd: So can you!  Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute.  Come here.  Hey --

Blair: I'm -- I'm just --

Todd: I'm sorry.  I don't want to fight with you.

Blair: I know.  I don't want to, either, but I'm just -- I'm just so afraid.  I'm afraid of what she's going to do next, Todd.

Todd: I know, I know.  She's not going to get a chance to do anything.

Blair: And what makes you think it's going to be different this time, huh?

Todd: Because I'm ready for her this time.  Now, you've got to trust me here.  If everything goes the way I want it to go, she'll be lucky if she sees tomorrow.

Blair: What are you going to do?  Todd, what are you going to do?

Evangeline: I don't want to talk about John anymore.

Layla: I know you don't want to talk about him.  But I can see what you're going through and it breaks my heart.

Evangeline: I'm fine.

Layla: Is that why you were up all last night walking in the hallways?  Look, when mom told me I was crazy to want to be an actress, you were the one who stood up to her.  You told me never to give up.  When I decided to move to L.A. and needed a boost, you lent me the money to stay.  "Because nothing should stand in the way of a Williamson girl and her dreams" -- that's what you told me, remember?  So to watch you sit back while some other woman sinks her hooks into the man you love, to watch you throw away all of your dreams?

Evangeline: John was the wrong dream, Layla, and I would just like to forget about the whole thing.

Layla: You know what I think?  I think forgetting john is the last thing you want to do.

John: Wow, that Michael's got a way with words, doesn't he?

Natalie: Yeah, well, I was kind of hoping that your ugly mug would take me home and tuck me into bed.  Get your mind out of the gutter, Mc Bain.  One little kiss and suddenly everything I say is loaded with implications.

John: I just think that maybe today you should be with your family.

Paige: Hi, everybody.

Viki: Hey.

Michael: Hey.

Paige: I wanted to add my congratulations about Natalie.

Viki: Thank you.  Look at you.

Paige: What -- oh, it's my day off.  Bo and I just took Matthew to a Phillies game.

Viki and Michael: Oh.

Michael: It's about time you let loose, doctor.

Paige: Well, don't you worry.  By tomorrow, I will be the same raging taskmaster that you know and love.

Michael: Excuse me.

Viki: Yeah.

Michael: I'm going to get back to work.

Paige: Yeah.

Viki: You know, Paige, I wasn't really talking about your clothes.  You look so relaxed and happy.

Paige: I am.  You know, it's been such a long time since I've had any sort of life outside hospital walls.

Viki: Oh, boy.  Ok, can we sit down for a minute?

Paige: Sure.

Viki: Although, I'm wondering if this is the best time to bring this up.

Paige: Oh, that's all right.  What is it?

Viki: Uh -- you know the hospital board met this morning --

Paige: Hmm.

Viki: To discuss the candidates for chief of staff.

Paige: Viki, I am so appreciative of your support, but I can't take the job.  I'd like you to remove my name from the list of candidates.

Natalie: You're right.  You shouldn't come home with me.  I -- I need to spend some time with my mom so she knows I'm ok.  Could you -- can you help me with those?  My ankle's still a little messed up.

John: Yeah, of course.

Natalie: You didn't have to spend the night, you know.

John: Yeah, I did.

Natalie: Ok, turn around so I can get this gown off.

John: Ok.  I won't peek.

Natalie: Look -- um -- John, I know that we have a lot to talk about, because before this kidnapping, I know that I did a lot of things, stupid things that I'm not proud of.  I guess almost dying does a number on your conscience and -- here on out, ok, there is no more games.  You know how I feel about you, and I know how you feel.

Natalie: And now we have time to explore that.

John: Right now we should probably explore you going home and getting some rest.

Natalie: Be in touch, right?

John: I'll be in touch.

Viki: I am a little surprised that you would turn down the chief of staff position.  Does it have anything to do with who recommended you?

Paige: Oh.  You know about Spencer and me?

Viki: Well, I know that you were married to him, that's all.  Paige, you are a fine doctor.  And I think that it would be a great disservice to this hospital and to your career if you allowed Spencer's involvement to stand in your way.  Would you think about it, at least?

Paige: I will think about it.

Viki: Thanks.

Paige: Right now I'm going to go back to Bo.

Viki: Ok.

John: Natalie!

Michael: Oh -- whoa, whoa, whoa.  Hey, hey.

Layla: Thank you, Mrs. Vega.  Looks delicious. I didn't realize you were Antonio's mother.

Carlotta: Oh, you know my son?

Layla: Of course. I'm Layla. I single-handedly found Jessica in New York for him.  He must've told you about me.

Carlotta: No.  He's never mentioned you.

Layla: Do you believe that?  Antonio's mother does not even know who I am.  You'd have thought that he told her about me.

Evangeline: You'll survive.

Layla: What's wrong now?

Evangeline: Nothing.

Layla: Yeah, there is.

Evangeline: Ok.  Ok, I admit it.  You're right.  It's not that easy to totally erase John from my life.

Layla: Thank you.

Evangeline: I mean, he's the first man that's come around in a long time that I could actually -- I could actually see spending the rest of my le with, you know?  But if there's anything these last few weeks have taught me, it's that John Mc Bain isn't ready to share his life with anyone, and if Natalie doesn't realize that now, she will soon enough.

Layla: Ok.  So let me get this straight.  Now that John doesn't need to play hero to Natalie any longer, you'll just wait around for him to get bored of her?

Evangeline: I didn't say that.

Layla: Because he will.  He will get bored of her.  But in the meantime, they're all hooked up.  That doesn't bother you?

Evangeline: Nothing's ever hurt worse.  But I'm not going to do one thing to stop it.  Because if I have to do something more than tell him I love him to -- to keep him away from another woman, then he's not the one for me.  Now, I'm moving on, and I'm going to prove to you and to everyone in this town that there was life for me before John Mc Bain, and there will be a damn good life for me after him.

Layla: Well, that's great, Vange, because here's your chance to walk the walk.

Blair: Look, I know that you think that you're the only person that can stop Margaret, but, Todd, if you take this too far --

Todd: I know what I'm doing.

Blair: Todd -- look at me!  Todd -- when you first came back to town, you said you didn't want to be like Victor Lord.  Victor lord would kill Margaret Cochran in cold blood and not even think about the consequences.  He wouldn't think about the wife he left behind when he went to prison.  He wouldn't think about the children that had to be raised without a father.

P.I.: Excuse me, Mr. Manning?  We need to go over a few things with you.

Todd: I got to do this now.

Blair: Todd --

Todd: Security will take you to your car.

Blair: Todd, please.  Please, just don't --

Todd: I'll see you at home.  It'll be all right.

Blair: Todd --

Guard: I'll walk you to your car, ma'am.  Then we can find someone to escort you home.

Blair: I'm not going home.

Margaret: Help me.  Please, you must help me!

Dr. Bricker: Mrs. Dawson?

Margaret: You have to save my baby.

Natalie: Ugh.

Michael: Ow!  Hey -- that hurt.

Natalie: That's what you get for sneaking up on me like that.

Michael: Well, I did keep you from falling on your ass.  I think that deserves a little credit, don't you?

Natalie: Thank you.

Michael: You're welcome.  How's your ankle?

Natalie: It hurts.

Michael: How's everything else?

Natalie: It's getting there.

Michael: I am sorry for scaring you.  I should've known that you're not as together as you'd like everybody to think.

Natalie: You kidding me?  Didn't like this shirt, anyway.  Oh.  Look, Michael, you know, I'm going home.  I can listen to my CDs as loud as I want and as long as I want, raid the refrigerator at 3:00 A.M. with Jess, and I can look after my mom, and live.  I'm going to live.

Michael: That's good.

Natalie: And after everything I've gone through, I'm not taking that for granted ever again.

Michael: Have you figured out where my brother, John, fits into the rest of your life?

Natalie: Well, we're starting over.  I know there's really nothing standing in our way -- no murder investigation, Evangeline's out of the picture.

Michael: Yeah, but you're forgetting one thing, Natalie.

Natalie: What?

Michael: John is still John.

Layla: I'm going to go pay up.

Evangeline: You look tired.

John: I didn't get much sleep last night.

Evangeline: You stayed at the hospital with Natalie?  How is she?

John: She's going home today.

Evangeline: That's good.  Give her my best, would you?

John: Ok.

Carlotta: John?

John: Yeah?

Carlotta: Your order's ready.

John: That's my order.  Goodbye.

Evangeline: Bye, John.

Carlotta: John?  I know I once told you to stay away from Natalie.  And after everything she'd been through with Cristian, I really didn't want to see her heart broken again.  But I was wrong, and I'm glad you didn't listen to me.  Otherwise, she would've been buried alive on that mountain.  You're the answer to our prayers, Natalie's most of all.

John: Well, that's very nice of you to say, but that's what cops are supposed to do.  They're supposed to help people.

Carlotta: Yeah, but you did more than that.  You made Natalie believe that she could find happiness after her tragedy with my son.  You're a hero to her.

John: Trust me, I'm no hero.  And, yeah, I found Natalie, but it doesn't make up for --

Carlotta: Doesn't make up for what, John?

John: I'm not the man everybody thinks I am.

Paige: I told you I wouldn't be long.

Bo: Oh.  Well, I'm just waiting for a forensics report here, and then we can take off, ok?

Paige: Great.

Bo: How's everything at the hospital?

Paige: Oh, business as usual.  Where's Matthew?

Bo: He's still in the break area with the guys.  He's bragging about the ball that he caught.  And speaking of kids --

Paige: Were we?

Bo: Well, I was.  You know -- look, I didn't want to put you on the spot, ok?  It's just that all day I've been watching you with Matthew and you're just -- you're so natural and nice and easy with him and it's like you've been a mom all your life.

Paige: Oh, I guess I've always wanted to be a mom.  When Spencer and I were together, we were just so young.

Bo: Hmm.

Paige: When you're so obsessed with each other, it just never seemed like the right time.  Then after the divorce I just focused on my career.  The years just flew by.  Before I knew it, it just seemed like motherhood wasn't in the cards for me.

Bo: Well, I got a deck of cards of my own, and I think maybe I can see step-motherhood in there someday.

Paige: Oh, Bo, you are so sweet, but I don't want us getting ahead of ourselves.

Bo: No, I know exactly where we are, ok?  I'm just -- I'm looking ahead to where I want to be.

Todd: Well, she's pregnant, she's got to see somebody.

P.I.: Well, she's nuts, isn't she?  And crazy people are bound to screw up somewhere down the line. It's not like it'll be easy for her to hide, either.  She's as big as the Titanic.

Todd: What did you say?

P.I.: Hmm?

Margaret: I told them our names were Jack and Rose Dawson.  You know who they are, don't you, Todd?  They're the young lovers from that -- that iceberg movie.  Oh, it's my favorite.

Todd: I think I know where she is.

Margaret: My baby will be ok, won't he?

Nurse: The doctor will be back to talk to you.

Margaret: Oh, no -- no.  He will survive.  Do you understand?  He has to!

Nurse: Mrs. Dawson, please.

Dr. Bricker: Your baby's fine, Mrs. Dawson.

Margaret: Are you sure?  Well, then what is this?  Why am I feeling this way?

Dr. Bricker: Well, the cramps you're experiencing are commonly known as round ligament pain, or spasms.  They can be brought on by standing up too quickly from a sitting position or turning your body suddenly or even coughing.  They're harmless.

Margaret: Well, if they're harmless, why did I pass out?

Dr. Bricker: Anxiety would be my guess.  The condition is medically inconsequential, but it can knock pregnant women for a loop.

Margaret: So my baby is ok?

Dr. Bricker: Yes.  You and your baby are going to be fine.  Now, why don't I contact your husband --

Margaret: Oh -- no.  No, you can't.  Um -- you see, my husband is out of the picture right now.  I don't even want him to know that I was here.

Dr. Bricker: But, Mrs. Dawson --

Margaret: No, I said no!

Dr. Bricker: All right.  Calm down, I won't call him.  Has your husband threatened you?

Margaret: What?

Dr. Bricker: When you brought him here before, you gave me money not to contact the authorities.  I have to assume now that it's because you're frightened of him.

Margaret: Oh, well, you don't know, doctor.  Last week he tried to strangle me.

Dr. Bricker: And you still didn't call the police?

Margaret: No.  He loves me, we're going to work it out, just not right now.

Dr. Bricker: Well, your medical records, like any other patient's, are completely confidential.

Margaret: Thank you, doctor.  Can I go now?

Dr. Bricker: I thought you'd might like to stick around and take a look at your baby.

Margaret: Oh, that would be wonderful.

Michael: You got a big heart, Nat, and you're definitely one of the most courageous people I've ever met.

Natalie: But?

Michael: Just be careful.  That's all I'm saying.

Natalie: Michael, that may be one of the sweetest things you've ever said to me.

Michael: Yeah, well, don't get used to it, ok?

Natalie: Thank you for the heads-up, but I have my eyes wide open.

Viki: Hey.  Ready to go home?

Natalie: Oh.  More than ever.

Viki: Good.

Michael: I'll go get you a wheelchair.

Natalie: Excellent.

Viki: I've been waiting to have a chance to talk to you.

Natalie: Well, you'll have plenty of time to do that at home.

Viki: Yeah, well, maybe not quite as much as I had hoped.

Natalie: What's wrong?

Viki: Oh, there's nothing wrong, darling.  Um -- the thing is I have an appointment to see a very famous heart specialist in London.

Natalie: Wait a second.  I mean, did something happen?  Is it bad again?

Viki: No, no, no.  No, I'm better.  I'm -- I'm better -- in fact, I'm much better, now that you're back.  No, the thing is that this specialist -- he might be able to prevent my condition from recurring.  And, you know, Clint and Joey are in London and they've been worried about me, and so --

Natalie: I know, mom, I'm sorry.  Everything that you've been through -- you're so worried about me and --

Viki: Darling, it wasn't your fault.

Natalie: It wasn't your fault either, and I hate what this has done to you.

Viki: Well, you know, I'm not going to pretend it was easy, but the thing is with, you know, Jessica right now and with your recovering, I'm -- I guess I'm reconsidering going to London.

Natalie: No.  No, listen to me, you need to take care of you, ok?  I'm -- I'm going to be ok.  We're all -- we're going to be ok.

Viki: Are you?  Sweetheart, I mean, I know how happy you are to be back and to be going home, but I'm -- I have to say this.  I -- I just have to wonder whether your life right now should involve John Mc Bain.

Layla: Ok, I can admit it.  When you're right, you're right.

Evangeline: Is it multiple choice or should I just guess what you're talking about?

Layla: You and John.

Evangeline: Layla, I swear to God, I'm going to kill you if --

Layla: Listen to me, it was something Carlotta Vega said to John.

Evangeline: I don't want to hear this!

Layla: Fine!  Then I'll talk and you can put your hands over your ears.

Evangeline: Why are you eavesdropping on them?

Layla: I was paying the check and I happened to hear what they were talking about, ok?  And you were dead-on, sis.  This Mc Bain guy is definitely hiding something -- from everybody.

Bo: All right, he's going back.  He's going to the warning track.

Matthew: To the warning track.  Back, back, back, back --

Bo: Back, back, back!  Oh!

Paige and officer: Whoo!

Bo: The Nat--

John: Hey.

Bo: Hi.  Um -- I thought you'd be at the hospital.

John: I just came from there.  Viki's taking Natalie home.

Bo: And so you came back here because --

John: I got a lot of paperwork to catch up on.

Bo: You know, John, you and I both just spent one of the longest nights of our entire lives.  I think if there's anytime to take the day off, today's the day.

John: I'm better off here.

Bo: Ok, I'll give you a choice, then you can either take the day off, go home, get some rest, or you can stick around here, and then maybe you can explain what's been eating you.

John: I'll see you tomorrow.

Bo: Jeez.  Ok, ready to hit the arcade?

Matthew: Yeah.

Paige: Yeah, I'm going to kick your butt at skee-ball, by the way.

Matthew: You wish.

Paige: Oh, I am.

Blair: Bo?  Bo, please, you have to stop Todd before he kills someone.

Evangeline: Since there's no way you're ever going to let this go, what is it?  What's the big revelation about John?

Layla: Well, first, Carlotta mentioned this guy named Cristian, Natalie's husband.  Did John know him?

Evangeline: Yeah, yeah, they have history.

Layla: Ok.  Well, anyway, she's thanking him for rescuing Natalie and all, and suddenly he gets squirrelly, all weirded out like he's got a guilty conscience or something.  He didn't want to be thanked, he didn't want praises from anybody, and then he told her how saving Natalie would never make up for something else that he's done, something he so didn't want to talk about.

Evangeline: That's the big news?

Layla: You didn't see his face, Vange.  Whatever he's hiding, it's something big -- bigger than him, bigger than you, bigger than your breakup.  Ok, well, I heard that last part in a movie once, but listen -- this guy is definitely hiding something, and if I were you, I would want to know what it was.

Evangeline: I didn't spy on John when we were together, and I am not going to start now.

Layla: You are so uncurious!  And I'm late for work.  See you at Capricorn later?

Evangeline: You are so lucky I love you, girl.

Layla: And you are so lucky I'm so lovable.  But if I were you --

Evangeline: Which you are so not me.

Layla: I would do some digging and find out what John's not telling you.  But, hey, that's just.  See you, sis.

Natalie: John is a good man.

Viki: Oh, I know he is.  The thing is, darling, you have been through one nightmarish ordeal after another, and I really think you need to just step back and regroup and recover.  And to jump into a romance right now, especially with John, who is still in the midst of a very emotional and very disturbing investigation --

Natalie: Ok, I get what you're saying, I understand what you're saying, and I agree.  All right, I'm not making any rash decisions right now and neither is John.  This is a new beginning for the both of us.  I mean, for the first time in our relationship, there's nothing standing in our way.  We're not walking into this with any baggage, no secrets.  I really think john and I have a chance this time.

Bo: Just take a deep breath and relax.

Blair: Ok.

Bo: Just tell me what's going on.

Blair: It's Margaret Cochran.  Todd and I think she's back in Llanview.

Bo: When were you planning on telling me about this?

Blair: Look, I wanted to tell you, but Todd didn't want me to.  He's going to take care of Margaret himself and he plans on killing her.  Look, we have to get to -- get to Margaret before Todd does.  Please, Bo.

Dr. Bricker: This is your son, Mrs. Dawson, perfectly healthy and quite active, which is probably why you mistook your pains for something worse.  He's a spirited little boy.

Margaret: He gets that from me.

Dr. Bricker: I'll be right back.

Margaret: Oh, hello there, little T.J. Oh, my little baby boy.

Nurse: "T.J."?

Margaret: Yes -- Todd Jr.

Dr. Bricker: Mr. Dawson?

Todd: Is she here?

Dr. Bricker: I don't know who you're talking about.

Todd: You know who I'm talking about.  Now, tell me, where is she?

>> On the next "One Life to Live" --

Rex: I think you should send John Mc Bain straight back to Evangeline.

Michael: Cristian Vega is dead.  I don't see how he could come between you and Natalie.

Blair: Todd is after her.  He's out for blood, Bo.

Todd: Whose kid is this?

Nurse: He's your son.
