Rex: Hey.

Adriana: Hi!  I thought you'd be at the hospital.

Rex: I just came from there.  Your aunt told me you were covering for her here, and I wanted to let you know that Natty's going to be all right.

Adriana: That's so great.  And you're so happy, you're telling everyone you know.

Rex: Well, Roxy's at the hospital, so just you.  But anyway, I thought you might want to know.

Adriana: Rex, I'm so happy for you.

Kelly: I'm sorry -- I think I'm in the wrong place.  You look like my aunt Dorian, but you're cooking.

Dorian: Save the sarcasm.  Wait until you have a taste of this culinary delight.

Kelly: You mean, you actually use the hot thing over there in the corner?

Dorian: Stop it!

Kelly: What is that?

Dorian: These are freshly baked egg blossoms.

Kelly: Freshly baked, huh?

Dorian: Mm-hmm.

Kelly: Since when did you get to be so interested in cooking?

[Door closes]

David: She isn't interested in cooking, she's interested in Spencer.

Spencer: Look, I already told you I'm a friend of the Manning family.

Man: Sorry.  Unless I get the ok from Mr. Manning or Ms. Cramer --

Blair: What's all the commotion here?  Oh, Dr. Truman.  It's all right.  Come on in.

Spencer: I'm sorry, I guess I should have called.  I just wanted to check and see how Starr was doing after you found her last night.

Blair: Well, she's doing ok, physically, but --

Spencer: Well, you sound concerned.

Blair: She thought that she saw Margaret Cochran in Todd's office last night.  That's the woman who tried to kill Todd and me.  But Todd thinks it was just her imagination.

Todd: Margaret --

Spencer: Margaret?  Who's Margaret?

Todd: She's pregnant with my baby.

Spencer: What if it wasn't?  From what I know about Starr, she's a pretty levelheaded young lady.  I mean, I can't believe she would imagine something like that.

Nash: You might try folding some of that stuff.

Tess: Well, it takes too much time.

Nash: Huh.

Tess: I am so out of here and on to California.

Nash: Ah, slow down.  It's not like anybody's going to drag you back to Llanview in the next few minutes.

Tess: Yeah, well, I don't want to waste any time.

Nash: Hmm.

Tess: I want to start our new life together.  You and your vineyard, me on my own, finally.  And I want to leave everything and everybody behind.

Nash: Huh.

[Tess giggles]

Antonio: Jessica's here.

David: Exhibit A -- takeout delivery bag from La Francais Provence Matin.  Exhibit B -- and I quote -- "Dorian, if you like this, I'll teach you how it's done.  Last night, boiling water.  Tomorrow, le monde."  Pretentiously yours, Spencer.  I rest my case.

Dorian: I did not say that I baked the egg blossoms, I said that they were freshly baked.

David: Dorian, I'll give you a dollar if you stop saying "egg blossoms."  Were you hot tubbing with my brother last night?

Dorian: No, I -- oh, stop that.  No, we were making tea, and he happened to mention that he is a world-class chef and that he'd be willing to give me lessons.

David: I lost my appetite.

Dorian: You know, Kelly, you might let Spencer give you a few cooking tips.

David: Dorian, you can give that up.

Kelly: You know?

David: Oh, I certainly know.  And so does Dorian.  But she's not comfortable with the fact that you dumped Spencer on his cordon bleu as-- far as I'm concerned, you should just accept it.

Dorian: I accept it.  I accept it.  I'm perfectly happy with it -- as long as Kelly has nothing more to do with Kevin.

David: Oh, brother.

Dorian: Oh, please.  Please tell me I'm misinterpreting that look on your face.

Kelly: Kevin and I are in love, and we're going to work things out.

Dorian: How can you possibly work things out with a man who -- who doesn't trust you, who took your child from you, who has accused you of corporate espionage?

Kelly: All water under the bridge, Dorian.  Kevin and I have both said and done many, many hurtful things to each other, but he knows that I did not sell out B.E.  And I certainly would like to know who did.

David: Well, I'll tell you who did.

Todd: Starr didn't see Margaret Cochran in my office.  It was dark, and she got upset.  Confused.

Spencer: Wouldn't you rather give your own daughter the benefit of the doubt?

Todd: Yeah, I did.

Blair: Todd, what if she was -- I mean, I thought that I saw her.  What if Starr really did?

Todd: No, she had a nightmare.  She got freaked out by it.

Blair: But she seemed so sure.  What if Margaret's back in Llanview?

Todd: She isn't.

Blair: You know, I think about all the things that she did to me, Todd.  I mean, the thought of her -- I mean, she could have taken Starr.  I mean, if she is back -- what if she's back to finish off what she started?

Todd: Ok, you got to stop this.

Blair: No, I mean, the thought of something happening to our family, Todd, you --

Todd: Ok, look -- look, nothing's going to happen to our family.  Margaret's not going to hurt you or Starr or anyone.  So don't let it get to you.

Spencer: But if she did hallucinate seeing Margaret --

Todd: Yes, she did hallucinate seeing Margaret.

Spencer: It could be a symptom of a medical problem.

Blair: What kind of medical problem?

Spencer: I'm not sure.  I'd have to run some tests.

Todd: No, thanks.  I think you've done enough.

Blair: Todd --

Todd: We're fine.

Blair: Look, I'm not so sure.  If Starr saw Margaret, then we do have problems.  But if Starr didn't see Margaret, then we have bigger problems here.  She might have emotional problems.  If she thought that she saw her --

Starr: I do not have emotional problems.  I know what I saw, and I saw that freak in dad's office.

Todd: Well, we know you thought you saw her.

Starr: She was there.  Why won't you guys believe me?

Blair: Look, honey, I do.

Tess: And we are out of here.  California, here we come.

Nash: You know, leaving Llanview and New York isn't going to change everything.

Tess: Oh, yes, it will.

Nash: I just don't want you to be disappointed.  All right?  My backer isn't going to put up all the cash to buy the place until he sees for himself that I can make a go of it.

Tess: Well, you can do it.

Nash: I love your confidence, but --

Tess: But what?  I mean, you have me.  I'm your lucky charm.

Nash: [Irish accent] Oh, you're me lucky charm, are you?  [Normal voice]  You stole my car.

Tess: Wasn't yours.

Nash: Hmm.  Then I almost broke my fist on your uncle's face saving your behind.

Tess: And I was well worth it.

Nash: Yeah.  Made me spend a bucket of cash in Llanview looking for you to save you from God knows what.  And now we're going to drive clear across the country on a less than perfect plan.

Tess: Sorry, I thought you liked the rush.

Nash: Ooh -- oh --

Nash: I love the rush.

Antonio: "N. Brennan, I. Price, J. Rodriguez."

Tess: Not bad for somebody who thinks that I'm a one-way ticket to hell.

Nash: Oh, even if that was true, you would still be the best thing that ever happened to me, Tess, the best.

[Tess laughs]

Tess: You know, if we keep this up, we are never going to get out of here.

Nash: Hmm.

Tess: And -- and I don't want my past to come knocking at your door.

Antonio: Good morning.  I'm looking for somebody and I have reason to believe she's in this building.  She looks like this.

Nash: So what about your uncle?  What if he tracks you down to California, huh?

Tess: Well --

Nash: Well?

Tess: Todd is resourceful.

Nash: Mm-hmm.

Tess: But so am I.

Nash: Hmm.

Tess: Even more.  And that's why you love me.  Admit it.

Nash: That and a few other things I can think of.

Tess: Hmm, so what are we waiting for?  Let's get out of here now.

Antonio: Her name's Jessica Buchanan.  She sometimes goes by "Tess."  Have you seen her around here?

Man: Hmm -- haven't seen anything in 10 years.

Antonio: Excuse me?

Man: I'm blind, son.

Antonio: I'm sorry.  Then have you heard anything, by any chance?  Maybe -- maybe from one of your neighbors, about a young blond woman?  Look, this is urgent.  I -- I need to find her.  She's in trouble and she needs my help.

Nash: All right, I'm going to go grab a quick shower.  Want to join me?

Tess: No.  If I do that --

Nash: Mm-hmm?

Tess: Then we'll never leave.

Nash: Oh.  All right.  Listen, hey, why don't you call home?  Let them know that you're all right so they don't come looking for you.  You left it here before.  It should still be working.  One more thing.  I'm lucky for you, too.

Tess: Wow.  If somebody had told me I'd be feeling like this over some guy --

Adriana: Hey, Duke.  Did you hear about Natalie?

Duke: Yeah, I heard last night.  I tried to call you this morning to tell you, but looks like good old rex beat me to it.

Rex: Yeah, I was pretty psyched.

[Phone rings]

Duke: Hey.

Rex: My mom.

Adriana: Your family must be so relieved.

Duke: You know, maybe since things are starting to get back to normal, we could take a little weekend together.

Adriana: Yeah, that would be great.  I mean, but we don't have to do it right away.

Duke: You mean, you don't want to go?

Adriana: No, I do.  I just -- I know you're really busy with B.E., and so when we get away, I don't want your mind to be on anything else.

Duke: Are you kidding me?  I mean, a whole weekend with you alone?  What do you think my mind is going to be on?

Kevin: Ah, no wonder you wanted me to meet you here.

Duke: Hey, dad.

Kevin: Hey.

Adriana: I'd better get back to work.

Duke: So you talked to Clint?

Kevin: Yeah, he wants Natalie to come to London to visit him and Joey.  But my guess is she'll want to stay here in Llanview, so he'll just have to come here.

Duke: Oh, well, hopefully he won't be too disappointed.  I mean, he was getting pretty excited about you and Kelly finally getting back together.

Kevin: Hey, he won't be disappointed.

Duke: What are you telling me?

Kevin: Well, I'm telling you that I should have never let her go in the first place.  I mean, you tried to tell me that.

Duke: Finally, you start listening to your kid.

Kevin: And I'm telling you, I'm not going to let anyone or anything get between us again.

Kelly: Well, who was it?  Who made me look like I was selling out B.E.?

Dorian: Are you going to name names?

David: Did you misinterpret what I said to insinuate that I knew specifically who it was?

Kelly: Yes.

David: I always speak in generalities.  It gives me a more universal appeal.

Kelly: Ugh --

David: You know, Kelly, there is a widely known business axiom that goes "business deals sometimes fall through."  It was probably just someone from a competing company.

Kelly: It had to be.  Kevin and I are the only ones that had the information about the merger on our side, and Kevin has admitted that he's been acting like a jerk.  So, sorry.

David: Hmm.

Dorian: I just hope that you're not the one who's sorry.

Kelly: Oh, here we go again.

Dorian: And I am not going to say that I think once again you are making a big mistake.

Kelly: Thanks, even though I think you just did.  What happened to those clothes I left here?

Dorian: They're in your old room.

Kelly: Well, there's this outfit I've been looking for.  It's one of Kevin's favorites.  I wanted to wear it tonight.  I'm going to go look for it.

Dorian: Ugh.  Has she completely taken leave of her senses?

David: Dorian, she's in love.  And there's nothing that anybody, even you -- and especially Spencer -- can do about it.

Dorian: Oh.  Now I'm the one who's lost my appetite.  Look, I know why I didn't tell Kelly that Spencer's the one who stole the file and scuttled the merger.  Though, I do think it was a brilliant idea.  I just wish it had scuttled Kevin and Kelly.  I just want to know one thing.  Why didn't you tell her?

David: Holding something over someone's head can be a lot of fun, not to mention very powerful.

Todd: Tell us exactly what you saw in my office.

Starr: The lights were out, but I could still see Margaret sitting at your desk.

Blair: Sweetie, how could you see her in the dark?

Starr: Because she was glowing.

Todd: She was glowing?

Starr: She -- yeah, she was!  It was really freaky.  And I ran.  And she chased me, or I thought so.

Todd: You don't know?

Starr: Well, when the person who I thought was Margaret put their hand on my shoulder, I turned around and here was the security guard.

Todd: Hmm.

Starr: So, I guess my mind was playing tricks on me or something, but anyway --

Blair: Well, didn't it happen earlier?  Maybe it happened earlier in dad's office?

Starr: You don't believe me, either?

Blair: Well, you said that you had a dream about it earlier.

Starr: That's why I got up and went to "The Sun" -- because I had a bad feeling about it.

Blair: Well, maybe that's all it was, Starr -- just a bad feeling.

Starr: It wasn't!  I know what I saw, and she was real!  Why won't you believe me?

Blair: Ok -- I know that it must have felt real.  It felt real all the times that I thought that I saw her, too, Starr.

Starr: It is not the same thing.  Margaret is here, and she is in Llanview.

Blair: She can't be.  She knows that the -- the cops and the F.B.I. are looking for her, and she knows that she'll be caught.  Would you please explain this to your daughter?

Todd: Listen to your mother.

Blair: It's ok.

Starr: You know that I saw her.

Todd: I know this.  I would die before I let Margaret hurt you or anyone.  There's nothing I wouldn't do to keep her from you.  Ok?

Spencer: I have to go.  Can I do anything for anyone?

Todd: No.  We got it covered.  Though, I'll walk you out.  I'm going to get the newspaper.  Hey, don't worry.  Hang in there, ok?  That's what we've got all those guards for.

Todd: So you can cancel the house calls.

Spencer: No, what's the matter?  You're afraid I'll tell Blair that you're lying to her?

Todd: I'm not telling Blair for her own good.  You saw how she freaked out when she thought Margaret was back.

Spencer: Well, I hope you know what you're doing.

Todd: Yeah, it's my family.  I think I can handle it.

Spencer: So in other words, back off?

Todd: I'm glad we understand each other.

Spencer: Oh, yeah, completely.

Todd: Asa, we have some loose ends to tie up.

Margaret: Oh.  Oh, you have got a lot of fight in you today, Toddy.  Just like your daddy.  Doesn't he know that it's no use fighting me?  The fates have spoken.  We are meant to be together for the rest of our lives -- and yours.  Hmm.  Oh, what was that?  What about daddy's other family?  Oh, don't worry about them.  I knew I would have to deal with them sooner or later.  And now it's just going to have to be sooner.  I know exactly what to do.

Blair: Yummy.  Look at all of Starr Manning's favorite breakfast treats right here.

Starr: Are you kidding me?  It's like the man on the wheel all over again.  You didn't believe me then, either.

Blair: You know, Starr, I thought that Margaret was real every time that I saw her, too.  I can understand that.

Starr: It's not the same thing!  What do I have to do, get kidnapped or tortured in order for you to believe me?

Blair: Sweetie --

Dorian: I want you to step aside.

Blair, would you please tell Todd's henchman here that I am allowed to enter?

Blair: Ok, ok -- my aunt should always be on the permanent clearance list.

Man: Yes, ma'am.

Dorian: Huh.

Blair: Sorry.

Dorian: Whew.  Thank you so much.  And there wouldn't have to be a clearance list if it weren't for Todd.

Blair: Ok.  This is Margaret's fault.  I don't want you to think about blaming Todd for any of this, all right?

Dorian: Oh, whatever.  Now, I am here because I want to check on Starr.  For goodness sake, what was she thinking?  She's too old to go running off like some big old baby.

Blair: Dorian, just stop.  I'm turning my daughter into a neurotic, just like me.  I mean, Spencer even mentioned it this morning when he was here.

Dorian: Spencer was here this morning?

Blair: Yes.  He was here checking up on Starr.  She thinks that she saw Margaret at Todd's office last night, and it's impossible.

Dorian: Are you sure?

Blair: Well, yes, I'm sure.  She's not here.  Asa has tracked her down in Mexico.  She's up in a mountain somewhere.

Dorian: Oh, really?

Blair: Yeah.

Dorian: And you believe Asa?

Blair: Todd had the whole "Sun" building checked.  She wasn't there, all right?  And Todd promised me that Margaret was not going to get anywhere near us.

Dorian: Trusting Asa Buchanan is a huge lapse in judgment.  Trusting Todd could get you killed.

Todd: So you set me up, huh, you bastard?  Set Margaret up in that guesthouse and then sent me in there, knowing only one of us would come out alive.

Asa: I was hoping neither one of you would.

Todd: Yeah, well, we did.  And now she's on the loose.  Where'd she go?

Asa: Hell if I know.

Todd: Hmm.  You know, we had a deal, Asa.  You get rid of Margaret, Blair doesn't nail you for almost killing her, which she's going to do unless you tell me where you stashed Margaret.

Asa: I just told you, I don't know.  And I really don't care.

Todd: Huh.  Yes, Bo Buchanan, please.

Asa: Don't do that, unless you want Blair to go down with me.

Tess: So anyway, mom, I just wanted to leave you this message to let you all know that I love you very much and I'll be home when I can.  Like never.

[Knock on door]

Antonio: Hello?  Hello, is anyone there?

Tess: Antonio --

Antonio: If someone's there, I'm not here to cause any trouble.  I'm just -- I'm looking for someone.  Look, this -- this woman is my fiancée, and she's in trouble and she needs me.  I love her.  I just want to help her.  Please, if there's anything you can do to help me, anything at all --

Man: You won't find her in that place, son.  Fellow who lives there left town.

Antonio: Thanks.

[Phone rings]

Antonio: Yeah.  Oh, Evangeline, hey.  I'm in New York.  Yeah, I'm trying to track down Jessica.  I know I'm scheduled to see Jamie later.  This -- yes.  Yes, I will be there on time.  I promise.

Jessica: Antonio --

Nash: Tess?  Tess?  Who's at the door?

Tess: Nobody.  Nobody at all.

Nash: Oh.

Tess: But I want to get out of here, ok?  This right here.  That's the place I want to be. This is where I want us to spend the rest of our new lives.

Spencer: Good morning, Dave.

David: Spencer.  We love it when you stop by unannounced.  How about an egg blossom?

Spencer: Hmm.  You know, it's a good thing I don't take your criticisms personally.

David: Oh, sociopaths never take things personally.  What do you want?

Spencer: I just stopped by to see Dorian on my way to the hospital.

David: Oh, Dorian -- my fiancée, your new best friend.

Spencer: Kindred spirits.  You know, it is comforting to know that when you and Dorian do tie the knot, I'm not going to be losing a brother but gaining an ally.

David: Hmm.  Well, maybe we'll just have to postpone the wedding -- again.

Spencer: I'm no threat to you, Dave.

[David chuckles]

David: Really?  Famous last words.

Spencer: I didn't tell Dorian about you stealing those B.E. merger papers out of Kelly's briefcase, now, did I?

David: Stole them at your behest.

Spencer: Well, that's just because I was already covering for you for that other little dirty little not-so-little secret, you know?

David: Spin doctoring -- do they offer that degree at medical school?

Spencer: Not that Dorian would love you any less for your past indiscretions.  Or would she?

David: Listen to me.  If you ruin this for me, you --

Kelly: Dorian, I'm going to take off -- oh, hi.

Spencer: Hello, Kelly.

Kelly: Hey.

Spencer: It's a pleasure to see you.

Kelly: Thanks, but --

Spencer: Listen, I told you I understood why you had to break it off, and --

Kelly: Yeah.

Spencer: I meant it.

Kelly: Good, good, because I really enjoyed spending time with you.

Spencer: Well, that's -- that's good.  So do I.  I mean, we are going to be family soon.  That is, unless Dorian becomes a runaway bride.

[Kelly laughs]

Spencer: Who knows?  Maybe they'll be two weddings for the Cramer women.

Kelly: Oh, I don't think Kevin and I are going to rush into anything.

Spencer: Oh, that's good.  That's smart, like your aunt Dorian.  I mean, you really do need to know what you're getting into these days.

Kelly: Yeah.  So, well, you said that you don't hold grudges, right?

Spencer: No, no.  Just ask David.

David: I'm busy or late for something.

Kelly: Thank you for making this so easy on me.

Spencer: Kelly, that's all right, we're friends.  And I plan to prove to you just what a good friend I can be.

Todd: Yeah, I'm on hold for Bo Buchanan.

Asa: Put the damn phone down, unless you want Blair going to prison with me, too.

Todd: Not going to happen.

Asa: You don't think so?  Blair lied to the courts.  She sent the wrong man up the river.  Cops do not like that.  And what about the story about you and Margaret?  You wouldn't want that spilling out, now, would you?  I didn't think so.  Especially with a bun in the oven.  Didn't think I'd notice?

Todd: It's not mine.

Asa: Well, she says it is.  And do you want Blair to know about it?

Todd: If you tell Blair, you son of a bitch, I swear to God --

Asa: Look, look, all I want is to wash my hands of this whole business, all right?  You go your way, I go mine. So are we square?

Todd: You really don't know where Margaret is?

Asa: All I know is that Margaret thinks that you and she and your baby will live happily ever after.  Oh, and, Todd, as far as I'm concerned, you and Margaret deserve each other.

Todd: Yeah, this is Todd Manning.  Get over here right now.  And bring any new stuff you've dug up about Margaret Cochran.

Dorian: Honey, you know you can't believe a word that Todd says.  I mean, he's got more secrets than David and Spencer put together.

Blair: I want to believe him.  I want to believe it.  I want to feel that she is so far away from us that she can never touch us.

Dorian: Wanting something doesn't necessarily make it so.

Blair: Well, I can't help believing it's true.  You know, when I first came back to town, I thought, u know, every noise, it was her.  She was lurking.  She was waiting to grab me, grab Todd, grab the kids.  Well, I can't live like that anymore.  I need to be strong for my kids, Dorian.

Dorian: Blair, if Margaret is back, you need to be strong about that.

Blair: If Margaret is back.

Dorian: You said yourself you thought you saw her on the street in a car.

Blair: Yeah, well, it could have been my paranoia.

Dorian: Look, Todd could be keeping this a secret from you, thinking that somehow he's protecting you, when really, he's only making you more vulnerable.  Honey, you have got to stay on top of this yourself.  And you stay close to Spencer, because he's helped before --

Blair: Oh --

Dorian: And he can help you in this.

Blair: You are just so subtle, aren't you?

Dorian: Well, somebody has got to be looking out after you if Todd isn't.

Blair: Dorian, stop it.

Dorian: Fine.  I'll go.  Blair, look at me.  Promise me that you will take care of yourself.

[Door opens and closes]

Starr: You saw Margaret in a car?

Blair: You were eavesdropping?

Starr: Why didn't you tell me?

Blair: Because I -- it was just my imagination.  I thought that I saw her.

Starr: I know you don't want it to be true -- that Margaret's back -- but there's no point in denying it.

Blair: Since when did you get so shrinky?

Starr: It's not going to make you stronger, mom.  It's only going to make Margaret stronger.

Todd: Now, I've got you and a whole army of P.I.'s out there looking for Margaret Cochran.  How the hell did she get into my office last night?

P.I.: I had all my people on your family and penthouse, like you wanted.  We weren't covering the office.

Todd: Well, cover it, then.  And every square inch of this town.  Here's a picture.  I want her out of my life!  The woman made contact with my daughter.  I want her gone, you got it?

P.I.: I'll put more people on it.  She should be moving slower in her condition.

Todd: Yeah, her condition.  I think I know how to find her.

Adriana: Did I just hear right?  You and Kelly?

Kevin: Yeah, we're back together.

Adriana: That's great.  You know, you guys really belong together.

Kevin: You think?

Adriana: Of course.  You know, it's just like when it's really right, you just have this energy when you're near the person that makes you light up.

Kevin: Kind of like you right now, huh?

Duke: Yeah, we may have a little of that going on.

Kevin: All right, well, I'll tell you what.

Duke: Hmm?

Kevin: I'll test out this "light up" theory you've got.  I'm meeting with Kelly right now.  See you later.

Adriana: Bye.

Duke: And you know what?  I got to get back to the office.  I'm waiting on a phone call.  See you later?

Adriana: Call me.

Duke: Bye.

Adriana: Sorry.

Rex: About what?

Adriana: My whole "going off about love" thing.  I mean, you didn't need to hear that, not after Jen.

Rex: I -- you can't help how you feel.

Adriana: No, you can't.

Rex: Um -- maybe it's the real deal.

Adriana: What?

Rex: You and Duke.  Why?  What'd you think I was talking about?

Tess: Looks like our train leaves in about a half an hour.

Nash: Mm-hmm.  You ever been to California?

Tess: What did I tell you?  No questions about our past.  You are breaking the rules already.

Nash: What past?  I thought you had no past before you met me.  Hmm?

Rex: I guess I'll leave love to everybody else.  Not that I'm knocking it, but I'm done.

Adriana: You don't know that.

Rex: What?  Somebody else is going to come along?  No, there isn't anybody else like Jen.

Adriana: You know, I thought the same thing when I broke up with River.  You remember River, right?

Rex: Yeah.  That whole mess with Shannon -- ew.  I never told you this, but I kind of had a part in that.

Adriana: I thought you hooked up with her.

Rex: Yeah, for a while.  But I never got over Jen.

Adriana: You know, I never thought I'd get over River, either.  But I did.

Rex: You got lucky.

Adriana: Rex, it wasn't luck, ok?  I just opened myself up to the possibility of someone else.  It can happen for you, too.

Rex: You're assuming I want it to.

Adriana: Well, you don't want to be alone, do you?  All I'm saying is just don't lock the door on it, you know?  And the right girl might already be waiting for you just to let her in.

Spencer: I really do want to see you happy, Kelly, you know?  I wish you and Kevin a long life with lots of beautiful children running -- I'm sorry.  I shouldn't have --

Kelly: It's ok.

Spencer: No, it's not.  Listen, if you ever want to pick up that conversation again --

Kelly: Another fertility procedure -- believe me, I've been there and done that for years.

Spencer: Not this one you haven't.  I developed it myself.

Kelly: I've had my hopes up so many times.

Spencer: If you ever want to look into it, just give me a call, ok?  But just for the record, I think you'd be a great mother.  And yes, I do think it's possible.

Kelly: I should go.  I -- I'll call you.

Spencer: Ok.

David: Spencer, don't you have a lobotomy to perform on yourself?

Kelly: See you guys later.

Dorian: Bye, Kelly.  Spencer, please don't rush off on our account.

Spencer: You know, I really do have to get back to the hospital.  I just wanted to see how you enjoyed breakfast.

Dorian: Oh, magnifique.  You're going to have to tell me all about how it's done.

David: Oh, I'm sure Spencer has one or two more important things to do in his day runner.

Spencer: Well, I'm sure I can find time for Dorian.  I'm looking forward to teaching her how to cook and sharing all of my little secrets.

Dorian: And I don't want you to leave anything out.

P.A. Announcer: The following trains are now boarding.  Train 406 to Philadelphia, stopping in Trenton, Llanview, Pine Valley, departing on track seven east.  Train 543 to San Francisco and north, track four west.

Todd: Every hospital, ob-gyn, clinic in the area, ok?  Show them that picture.  Tell them anything you need to tell them.  Tell them that I will build a new wing on the hospital.  I'll build a new hospital, for that matter, ok?  Just make sure that they call me the minute she walks in.  She really wants that baby, so she's going to need a doctor soon.

Margaret: "And they lived happily ever after.  The end."  Hmm.  Ah.  Don't worry, toddy.  I'll make sure your daddy's other family is out of the way before you're -- oh, no.  It's not supposed to feel this way.  Ah!

Todd: Blair, what are you doing here?  Who's with the kids?

Blair: Ginger and a battalion of bodyguards.  I -- I need to talk to you, Todd.

Todd: Everything ok?

Blair: No, it's not ok.  I just keep playing out all this stuff in my head.

Todd: What stuff?

Blair: Just what happened with Starr last night.  I mean, I can't help but think that maybe -- maybe Starr's right, Margaret is here.  And don't -- don't try to snow me.  Don't try to protect me, because I want to know the truth.  Margaret's here, isn't she?

>> On the next "One Life to Live" --

Natalie: You didn't have to spend the night, you know.

John: Yeah, I did.

Layla: This Mc Bain guy is definitely hiding something.

Blair: Margaret came back because of the baby.  Your baby, Todd.

Margaret: You have to save my baby.
