Cristian: You see it, too, don't you? I'm not the same man I was before. I thought this book would bring me closer to you. Instead, it's just driving us apart. If I get rid of it, maybe I -- maybe I could start something new with you, Natalie. Maybe your mom's right. Maybe -- maybe I can fix this, you know, be someone new, someone good. I'm taking my life back. You believe in me, Natalie. You still love me. That's all Iíll ever need.
Natalie: Know what, Evangeline, I'm sorry, but even if I could get Cristianís book, I wouldn't hand it over to John. I'm sorry, I don't trust him.
Evangeline: How can you say that after everything he's done for you?
Natalie: Because this isn't about me. This is about my husband, and whatever is in that book, John's just going to take it the wrong way and make it sound like Cristianís some sort of danger to me.
Evangeline: Natalie, John doesn't make accusations lightly. And for whatever reason, he sees you as someone he needs to protect.
Natalie: Yeah, well, you know what? He doesn't have to. I'm not the one in trouble. I'm just -- I'm worried about my husband right now, ok? I can't even help him.
Evangeline: Then tell someone who can, someone you can trust. Natalie, what if Cristian hurts somebody? What if something happens to him and you could have prevented it? Could you live with that? I couldn't. Tell John.
John: Tell John what?
Daniel: I have something to tell you, and you're not going to like it.
Bo: Why do I get the feeling you're going to enjoy telling me?
Daniel: Adam Chandler feels you have a conflict of interest when it comes to finding his grandson and he thinks you'll compromise things so that Kevin will end up with custody of Ace.
Bo: And what's your take on this, Mr. D.A.?
Blair: Did you cancel the restraining order that Margaret Cochran has against me yet, Bo?
Bo: No, Blair, not until morning.
Blair: Morning? That'll be too late! Bo, she will kill Todd!
Margaret: I'm coming! Can you hear me, Todd? Todd! You better not be playing possum and worrying mama like this.
Todd: I'm sorry, Blair. I'm sorry, Blair. I'm sorry.

Blair: Have you done anything, Bo?
Bo: Todd is not our top priority right now.
Blair: How could you say that? He was kidnapped by a psychotic killer!
Bo: But you don't know that. See, without evidence, we can't do anything.
Daniel: What's going on here?
Nora: You know, Blair, why don't you and I go outside and we'll talk?
Blair: Nora, you're not a cop.
Nora: I know Iím not, but you can certainly tell me about Margaret Cochran.
Blair: I can tell you that --
Nora: Come on outside, ok?
Blair: Nora --
Nora: I'm on your side, Blair.
Daniel: Ok, you asked me what I thought.
Bo: I'm waiting.
Daniel: I think Adam Chandler has a right to be concerned about you being impartial when it comes to Ace's kidnapping.
Woman: Excuse me, Mr. Buchanan? I saw your speech on TV. The missing child program is a wonderful idea.
Kevin: It's a nice program. Thanks. Who's this here? Hey, there, buddy. What is he, about 8 months?
Woman: Oh, he's 6.
Kevin: You're kidding me. 6 months? Look at the mitts on this guy. The Phillies are going to want your number there, little buddy. I love it when they're this age. You mind?
Kevin: No? Let's get him out there. Hey. Come on out. How are you? Huh? We had Ace when he was about this age. My wife used to give him a bath and I'd hide behind her and I'd pop out from one side to the next, you know, and he would just giggle like crazy.
Woman: Has there been any word on your son?
Kevin: No, nothing yet. We're going to find him, though.
Blair: Margaret killed Mrs. Bigelow because Mrs. Bigelow found out that Margaret had Todd, and that's why Dorian and I set up a trap.
Nora: You and Dorian?
Blair: Mm-hmm. We put an article in "The Sun" saying that Mrs. Bigelow had miraculously survived the fall, but was in critical condition.
Nora: And she actually was dead, though, right?
Blair: Yeah, and we moved her body to the hospital.
Nora: You moved her body?
Nora: Well, Blair, now you're the one that sounds loopy.
Blair: Yeah, I know. I know that, and that's why Margaret was able to get a restraining order against me and that's why the cops won't help me do anything to find Todd and that's why I can't find any evidence that Margaret has Todd.
Nora: Ok, ok, come on, come on. Calm down, calm down. Sit, sit. Ok, now, is there any evidence at all that would prove that Mrs. Bigelow didn't commit suicide?
Blair: No. Todd hasn't accessed any of his accounts since he disappeared, and that's been over a month ago.
Nora: Ok. That's something.
Blair: They sent Margaret to St. Ann's for kidnapping Ace.
Nora: Ok, see? This is good. That's very good. Anything else?
Blair: Well, I'm telling you, she was all over us when she was released.
Nora: Did you file a complaint against her?
Blair: No. Todd said, "Donít worry, Blair, don't worry. I can handle her. She's nuts, but I can handle her."
Nora: Well, if she abducted Todd, then he grossly underestimated her.
Blair: Yeah, we both did, didn't we?
Nora: All right, you know what we got to do? We just put our heads together and come up with anything we can on Margaret Cochran and see if that leads us to Todd.
Blair: No, it's going to be too late, Nora. I'm telling you that woman has Todd. You got to help me, please? Help me find him.
Margaret: Todd, are you still with me? All I wanted was your baby! Don't give up hope! Think of how beautiful our baby will be, the perfect union of you and me!
Margaret: I'm coming, baby! Todd? Say something!
Todd: Find me, Blair, please.
Nora: Please send it up right away. Thank you. They're pulling Margaret Cochranís file.
Blair: Thank you. You know, I know that you're not a big fan of Toddís, but he changed. People can change and people make mistakes.
Nora: I -- I know a lot about mistakes, Blair. It's ok.
Blair: Yeah. You know, you and Bo are a lot like Todd and me.
Nora: Hmm. How so?
Blair: Well, he's the father of your child and you're connected no matter what happens.
Nora: We're going to need more than our gut instincts, ok, to find Margaret Cochran and Todd.
Blair: Well, Bo put an A.P.B. out on Todd, but I really just don't think he's taking it seriously enough.
Nora: Well, I'm taking it seriously. As a matter of fact, Iím going to go get that file. I got an idea. I'll be right back.
Blair: Come on, Todd. Come on, just be ok. Just hang in there. Just hang in there till I can find you, and I swear to you I will find you. Just please stay alive till I can find you.
Todd: Blair? Blair? Ok. I'm not dead yet.
Cristian: "Todd Manning is Natalieís uncle. He can be a jerk. He's arrogant and someone you don't want to mess with. He loves his wife, Blair, more than anything. He does crazy things for her. Sometimes it brings them closer together, sometimes it almost ruins them." Natalie loves me like that. "John McBain. He's out to get me. I have to be careful now that I know. I have another mission to fulfill in Llanview. I've killed Tico Santi, and I will kill again. I will complete my mission." No, no more killing. I'm not a killer. They can't tell me what to do anymore. They can't tell me.
John: Tell me what? Something else happen with Cris?
Natalie: You know, John, you should be with your brother. I read the article about him.
John: Michael didn't kill Tico. But the press, they don't care about the truth. They just want to sell papers. It did get him suspended, though.
Evangeline: What? They can't suspend him because of an article in "The Sun." Maybe I should go talk to Michael or talk to the board myself. Where is he?
John: He's not picking up his cell; he wasn't answering in his room. That's why I came over here.
Natalie: That's why you need to go find him. I'm going to go find Cris.
John: Wait. Look, I overheard Evangeline telling you to talk to me. So what's up?
Natalie: Look, I just got a lecture from Evangeline. I seriously don't need one from you, too.
Evangeline: I told her that she needs your help.
Natalie: Cristian needs your help.
Evangeline: Look, Natalie, you do what you want. I just said that you need to tell him because this isn't the kind of thing that you handle by yourself. Look, you two talk. I'm going to go make a few phone calls; see if I can help straighten this out for Michael. You can trust him.
John: Hey, talk to me.
Natalie: What do you want me to say? That my husband's been a mess since he's come back? John, I'm sorry, I can't do that. You're asking me to trust you over Cristian, and Iím sorry, but I choose Cristian.
Margaret: Todd? It's been so long since Iíve heard from you! Are you still there, sweetheart? I'm so worried. Todd? Todd? Are you there, Todd?
Margaret: Is that you, baby? I'm here! I'm trying to get you, but the porch has collapsed and it's blocking the door! Oh, but don't worry. We still have time to conceive!
Todd: I'm going to die in here.
Margaret: You mustn't give up hope, my love! Oh!
Todd: Margaret! You're going to kill us! Go get some help!
Margaret: You're right, we need help. But don't worry, Todd, I'm not going to let you die! Our baby is counting on us.
Todd: Margaret? Margaret?
Blair: Margaret went through our garbage? Why weren't we notified about this, Nora?
Nora: Ok, you need to keep your voice down.
Blair: I'm sorry.
Nora: This is privileged information from a psych report, and if anyone found out that I borrowed this file and showed it to a civilian, Daniel would have my job.
Blair: Daniel wanted to write up Mrs. Bigelow's murder as a suicide, and then that would've been absolutely it. Thank goodness for Bo. I mean, Danielís a mercenary.
Nora: He's not a mercenary. He's the D.A. with a heavy caseload. It's a tough job, Blair. He's thoughtful and he's considerate -- two qualities that I love very much about him.
Blair: Hmm, really? Yeah, I've been there -- forced to fall in love with one man when I really can't get the one that I really love out of my head.
Bo: Daniel, do you really have a problem with the way I do my job or are you just the mouthpiece for Adam Chandler these days?
Daniel: Well, is he wrong? This is your family, Bo. Your nephew has legal custody of a child that's the biological son of J.R. Chandler. How can you not let that affect your judgment?
Bo: You know, you may not have noticed this, but the name Buchanan -- that's a big name in this town. But I have never had a problem drawing the line between my duties as police commissioner and my loyalties to my family.
Daniel: I'm just wondering where that line is drawn, that's all.
Bo: It is exactly where it needs to be.
Kevin: It is amazing how much they know at this age, isn't it? I used to come home late at night from a business meeting or just, you know, a trip or something and Ace would recognize my voice. He really would. He'd start kicking his feet and stomping. I'd pick him up, throw him up, and then we'd roll around on the floor and play and just have a good old time. My wife used to tease me. She used to say, you know, "Iím not sure who the baby is here."
Kelly: They were quite a team, you two guys. Hey.
Kevin: Here you go.
Woman: I hope your son comes home soon.
Kevin: Thanks. He will. We were, you know, great parents.
Kelly: When we weren't at each other's throats.
Kevin: I mean, when we were together, the three of us.
Kelly: Why are you doing this, Kevin? What do you want?
Kevin: I don't know. I was just thinking that, you know, when Ace comes home, maybe you should, too.
Cristian's voice: "If no one ever finds out what I did, it'll just go away. Everything will be fine. But one slip-up and it all goes to hell."
Natalie: Cristian? Cristian? Hey, are you in here?
Evangeline: Where's Natalie?
John: She took off.
Evangeline: John, the only reason I told her to talk to you is because there are some things you need to know.
John: So tell me.
Evangeline: I canít.
Evangeline: Because I don't want to be in the middle of this. And because if Natalie wants you to know, she should tell you herself.
John: You're something else, you know that?
Evangeline: Something good?
John: Yeah. You make these look good.
Evangeline: I like the way they make me feel.
Evangeline: The timing. The timing of that thing.
Natalie: John, it's Natalie. Look, I was wrong. I have to see you.
John: What's going on?
Natalie: It's Cristian. He's in trouble, and it's a lot worse than what I thought. Can you just please come to Llanfair right now?
John: I'll be right there.
Cristian's voice: "If no one ever finds out what I did, it'll just go away. Everything will be fine. But one slip-up and it all goes to hell. No more Cristian Vega, no more Natalie. And without Natalieís love, I might as well have never existed."
Kelly: You have no idea how I wanted you to say those words once upon a time. I wanted a family with you more than anything else in the whole world.
Kevin: Well, then let's do it. Come on, let's get Ace back. Let's be a family again.
Kelly: That family was a lie, Kevin. Ace was a lie. And every minute we had with him was a minute stolen from his birth mother. And as for you wanting me back -- I think that's just a manipulation. You want me to tell you where Ace is.
Kevin: That's what you think?
Kelly: I think you'd do just about anything to get him back, and I'm not going to let that happen.
Kevin: Well, for whatever it's worth, Kelly, Iím not trying to manipulate you, ok? I just -- I just thought it would be nice to be a family again. That's all.
Daniel: Look, I don't want to turn this into a brawl, and I'm not trying to get you off the case.
Bo: But you wouldn't lose any sleep if I stepped aside, huh?
Daniel: Not one wink. Look, Adam Chandler's going to be watching every move you make. Anything that favors your family and he's headed straight to the governor's office.
Bo: You know, I think Chandler scares you a hell of a lot more than he scares me.
Daniel: Oh, come on. You want to start a war here? What, the Chandlers against the Buchanans?
Bo: No, what I want is to just do my job.
Daniel: Fine. As long as we do it by the book, we won't have a problem.
Bo: Buchanan. Yeah? Where? All right. Maintain surveillance. Don't let them out of your sight. And I don't want anybody to move until I get down there, all right? Thanks.
Daniel: Is that about the Chandler baby?
Bo: It was about Ace, yeah.
Daniel: You going to fill me in?
Blair: I keep checking the hospitals. Nobody's heard from Todd, and I guess I don't know whether to be relieved or worried that nobody's heard from him.
Nora: Well, don't get too excited, but I may be on to something.
Nora: Margaret Cochran. She rented a room at the Palace Hotel on December 10.
Blair: That was the night that we were supposed to get married. She was there at the hotel the night that Todd disappeared.
Margaret: You have to help me. My husband's in trouble!
Man: Lady, calm down. What happened?
Margaret: He's hurt! I don't even know if he's breathing! Will you please just help me?
Man: Let me grab my keys. I'll meet you back here.
Todd: Margaret? Margaret, are you there? Hey, nut case?
Margaret: This should do the trick. That porch is so huge, all the snow on top of it. Better safe than sorry. Don't worry, Todd. Mama's coming. Darling? I'm back! I told you Iíd get you out! Tonight you'll be in my arms, and the explosion of our love will rock your world!
Man: Lady? What the hell? Oh, no. No! You got to get a trooper up here, pronto. Yeah, some woman just walked off with I don't know how much dynamite. Hell, yeah, I can describe her.
Margaret: One for mommy, one for daddy, and one for baby. And one for mommy.
Nora: Yes, I need to have that brought up to me right now. No, don't put me on hold. Oh, they've put me on hold. I hate being put on hold. Hello?
Blair: Margaret had planned this. She planned it from the get-go. She got a room at the Palace Hotel. I bet she went to Toddís room and pulled a gun on him, the same one that she pulled on Dorian and me. I just don't understand why Todd would -- oh, my God, Nora. What if we're too late? What if she did something to Todd?
Officer: Ms. Buchanan?
Officer: They're still running the Cochran woman, but this just came in. It fits the profile.
Blair: What is it? Did they find Todd?
Nora: It's Margaret.
Natalie: Now I know why Cristian was upset when he found me reading his book. I mean, what does that mean, "No one can find out"? Find out what, John? I don't understand. What did he do?
John: I don't know. But one thing's clear -- the man loves you very much.
Natalie: See, that's -- that's what I've been trying to tell you. I can't help him if I'm afraid of him, and you keep trying to turn me against him.
John: That's not what this is, Natalie. This is not about me investigating Cris. It's about keeping you safe.
Natalie: Yeah, I'm sure Evangeline loves it when you talk like that.
John: Evangeline knows you're a priority right now. I've never kept that a secret from you or her.
Natalie: And look where that's gotten us, John. You know what? It's wrong of me to call you every time I need help. I'm not -- Iím not going to do that anymore. I'm not going to call you anymore, ok?
John: No, that's not ok.
Daniel: I'm sorry, but if you have information about this investigation, commissioner, I want to know about it.
Bo: We have an address on Babe Chandler and Jamie Martin down in New Orleans, and they've got Ace with them.
Daniel: Adam Chandler has a right to know. It's his grandson we're talking about.
Bo: Hmm. Well, you do what you have to do. I'm going to do my job.
Kevin: Look, I don't blame you for thinking Iím trying to manipulate you again. I mean, it wouldn't be the first time.
Kelly: It wasn't always like that.
Kevin: No, it wasnít.
Kelly: We loved each other once. We trusted each other. We made a mess of that. Maybe Ace was the only good thing that happened between us.
Kevin: Then how can you just let him go like this? Don't you come across his toys or wake up in the middle of the night thinking you hear him crying in his room?
Kelly: Of course I do.
Kevin: Then how are you living with this? Please tell me, because it's killing me.
Kelly: I know that Ace is with his mother. I know that she loves him, and I also know what it's like to lose a child, Kevin. I can't bear the thought of putting another woman through that.
Kevin: Well, I lost a child, too, Kel, and no one told me about it, did they? Look, all I know is that my wife came home and she handed me my son and I fell in love with him. The minute that I laid my eyes on him, I fell in love with him, and now he's gone.
Kelly: Kevin -- I'm so sorry.
Kevin: I still have legal custody, Kelly.
Kelly: Kevin --
Kevin: There's precedence for that.
Kelly: All the legal documents in the world won't make it right for you to take this child away from his biological mother, and you know that.
Bo: Kevin, they found Ace in New Orleans. He's with his mother and Jamie Martin.
Evangeline's voice: I would be honored to wear these, but I can't, John. I would expect a deeper commitment from you, to take our relationship to the next level, and if you're not ready for that, that's ok.
John: Stop talking, turn around. You look beautiful.
John: You know, if you're saying this for Evangelineís sake, you don't have to. She's a big girl, and we're in a good place right now. Believe it or not, she cares about you, too.
Natalie: Ok. Don't you just hate well-adjusted people?
John: Drives me up a wall. So what do you say we drop all this talk about you not calling me when something goes wrong, ok?
Natalie: Cristian -- Cristian freaked out when he caught me reading this. I mean, why would he just leave this paper lying around? I don't understand.
John: You have any idea where he might've went?
Natalie: No. No, he's been spending a lot of time alone lately and -- wait a minute, wait a minute. Yep. He's at Asaís lodge. The keys are missing.
John: Ok, I'm going to go check it out. I'll let you know if I find anything.
Natalie: John, please, just find out what kind of trouble Cristianís in.
John: I will.
Natalie: I can't lose him a second time.
John: That's not going to happen.
Cristian: I'm not going to leave you, Natalie. I'm going to burn every memory of that hellhole right out of my life. No more voices, no more death, no more murder. Just Cristian and Natalie, a brand-new start.
Blair: It's Margaret.
Blair: But where's Todd? I mean, this is good. I mean, we've got something, but where did they say they last saw her?
Nora: At the construction site that they mentioned. Apparently, she stole a half a case of dynamite.
Blair: Dynamite? Oh, God! What is she going to do with that?
Nora: I don't know. That's a good question. Where are you going?
Blair: I'm going to go find Todd.
Nora: Blair, this is a police matter now.
Blair: I don't have time for the police! I'm going to find Todd, and I'm going to find him now!
Todd: Margaret, what are you talking about, explosions?
Margaret: I told you I was going to rock your world! And tonight you're going to see the magnitude of my love for you.
Todd: Margaret, you don't really have explosives out there?
Margaret: Seek cover, my love! Mama's coming!
Todd: You lunatic, you're going to bring this whole mountain down.
>> On the next "One Life to Live" --
Kelly: Who was on the phone? Was it about Ace?
Roxy: What does Ticoís murder have to do with you?
John: Ok, Cris, what do you know about Ticoís murder?
Blair: You know who this woman is?
Man: That's the crazy chick who stole some explosives.
Margaret: Oh, my God, what have I done?
