Blair: Yeah.

Kelly: He had to have heard you. He'll come home.

Jack: Daddy's not coming.

Blair: What, Jack?

Jack: I talked to Fred the magic frog. He's not magic. Daddy's not coming home.

Dr. Bricker: Well, everything's all set. All you have to do is sign the discharge papers and you can take Mr. Dawson home today.

Margaret: Oh, thank you, Doctor. That's very wonderful. I'll be right out.

Dr. Bricker: Okay.

Margaret: Did you hear that, Darling? We're going home. We can finally start working on our little baby.

Todd: Not a chance in hell, you sick freak.

Nora: You don't think I should marry Daniel?

Bo: No.

Nora: Because? You know, I'm not even going to ask, because I don't really care. Good day.

Bo: No, wait a minute. Just wait a minute. I know it must seem like the entire world is giving you and Daniel its blessings, but I can't let you walk out of here and make the biggest mistake of your life.

Viki: Hey. We still on for shopping today?

Jessica: Sure.

Viki: Good.

Jessica: Do you mind if I read the paper first, though? I just want to see if the governor said anything about Kevin’s speech.

Viki: Oh.

Jessica: I feel so out of the loop since I've been on leave from "The Sun."

Viki: Sure, but the paper's still outside.

Jessica: Okay, I'll go get it.

Jessica: Mom! Look. It's Cristian. It's got to be.

Natalie: Cristian, please. Will you tell me what really happened to you on that ship?

Cristian: I told you all you need to know.

Natalie: No, no, not really. Something is seriously wrong. I mean, you have this -- this rage in your eyes that I've never seen before. You really wanted to hurt John, didn't you?

Cristian: McBain's had it coming for a long time.

Natalie: No, it's not just that. The bartender at the palace on New Year’s Eve, the muggers in the park --

Cristian: Natalie, I was trying to protect you, okay?

Antonio: What muggers?

Natalie: I thought you were going to kill that guy! We got held up in the park on New Year’s Eve.

Cristian: It wasn't a big deal. I took care of it.

Natalie: You took care of it? You would've been in jail right now if that cop hadn't gotten you off that guy.

Cristian: I think you're exaggerating just a little bit.

Antonio: Is she? You know, if your wife can't get through to you, then maybe I can.

Evangeline: What if Cristian isn't who he says he is? What are you trying to say, John?

John: I didn't know him that well before, but it's pretty obvious. He's not acting like the same guy.

Evangeline: Well, who would be? He's been through hell.

John: Maybe. This is different.

Evangeline: How?

John: I've seen guys like this before. You can almost hear the ticking. One false move and they go off. Cris is like one of those guys right now.

Evangeline: Well, I have a theory about your theory.

John: What's that?

Evangeline: All of this analysis is a cover for how you feel. You're happy that Cristian is alive, but you're not particularly happy that he's back in llanview.

Nora: You can't let me walk out of here? Are you trying to stop me?

Bo: No. I'm trying to have a civil conversation, because that's the way you want things to go, right?

Nora: Yeah, until you started telling me how to live my life.

Bo: I'm offering you my opinion.

Nora: I didn't want your opinion about whether or not I should get married or to whom.

Bo: Do you think I'm saying this for me?

Nora: Oh, I'm sure it's just overflow concern for me?

Bo: I'm thinking of Matthew.

Nora: What about Matthew?

Bo: Nora, every instinct I've got is telling me that Daniel is the wrong guy. Now, I don't want him being Matthew’s stepfather.

Matthew: When's Mom going to get done with court?

Daniel: Well, that all depends upon the judge. This okay?

Matthew: Yeah.

Daniel: You know, Matthew, I'm really glad I got to pick you up from school. We haven't had a lot of time to talk to one another, you know, man to man.

Matthew: Yeah, but my friend's going to be here any second.

Daniel: The one you called from the car?

Matthew: Yeah. There she is. Hey, Starr.

Starr: Hey.

Matthew: This is Mr. Colson.

Starr: Oh, we've met.

Daniel: Nice to see you, Starr.

Matthew: Starr's my consi-- consi --

Starr: Consigliere -- like in "The Godfather"?

Daniel: Well, you know, as long as you know you're speaking to the District Attorney.

Starr: Yes, I know, and you are Matthew’s mom's boyfriend, if I'm correct.

Daniel: That's right.

Starr: And how do you think that Matthew’s dad feels about that?

Daniel: Well, you know, Starr, I really believe that's adult business.

Starr: I'm not a kid.

Daniel: No, no, you're obviously a very sophisticated young lady, and I think it's great that you're looking after your friend and -- Matthew’s mom and I care a great deal about one another, and I believe if we work very hard at it, we can be an extended family. Is that what you want to know, Matthew?

Cristian: You guys are making way too big a deal over this, all right? I lost my temper. So what? Big deal. It's over. Stop worrying about me.

Antonio: No, I am worried. You're my brother.

Soldier: Antonio Vega -- a police officer in Llanview. He's engaged to Jessica Buchanan. He's also your brother.

Natalie: Hey, are you okay?

Antonio: Cris? Cris, what's going on? Cris, talk to us. Tell us what's happening.

John: You are making this personal, and it isn't personal.

Evangeline: Oh, that's right. It's just the job.

John: If that's a roundabout way to bring Natalie up again and my friendship with Natalie up again --

Evangeline: No, it goes way behind that, John.

John: You're right. You're absolutely right. Cris is also a murder suspect. You know what? Let's not do this right now, okay?

Evangeline: Look, can we just stop dancing around the truth and just talk straight? Natalie is a married woman, and all of this makes it look like you're not very happy about that.

John: Okay. You're right. I'll -- I'll admit it. I'm in love with Natalie. It's like a nail through the heart every time I see her with Cris. Are you happy now? Is that what you wanted to hear? I hope you're satisfied.

Jessica: How much more proof do we need, Mom?

Viki: Hang on a minute. Jessica, wait! Wait. No one has actually seen Cristian drinking or smoking.

Jessica: And no one saw broken beer bottles and cigarette butts until Cristian moved in.

Viki: Yes, I know that's right, but, Honey, this is just not like Cristian.

Jessica: I know it's not, but we have to do something.

Viki: Well -- look, Natalie has said that he's agreed to go to counseling, okay?

Jessica: Really? When? Has he made an appointment at all? And Natalie is too afraid to push him.

Viki: Well, honey, you have to understand this is very difficult for Cristian. You know, he's proud. Asking for help is hard for him. It's going to take some time for him to, you know, come around to this idea -- but I think he will. I'm sure he will.

Jessica: I hope so.

Viki: Look, we're going to have to go if I'm going to make my meeting with Kelly later, okay, so --

Jessica: Okay, yes. I just got to go get my gloves from my car.

Viki: Okay.

Jessica: Be right back.

Jessica: Mom, Mom, someone broke into my car.

Viki: What?

Jessica: I -- the glove box was open, and everything was just thrown around inside.

Viki: Was your car locked?

Jessica: I think -- I think so. I don't -- well, what if the person that did it is the same person that's been breaking into our house stealing booze?

Viki: Well, come on! It's not Cristian!

Jessica: Well, if it isn't, if it's somebody else, then -- what if they're after me?

Woman: How are you feeling?

Todd: You got to help me.

Woman: The doctor said you were looking for a phone.

Todd: Yeah. Give it to me.

Nurse: Oh! Oh -- could you give me a hand?

Todd: No, wait.

Viki: Jessie, let's back up a second here, okay? When you came home last night, did you notice anything strange?

Jessica: No. Somebody must have broken in after I went to bed. It's almost like they were looking for something.

Viki: Well, I just can't imagine Cristian doing something like this. I'm going to call the police.

Jessica: No, Mom, don't, no.

Viki: Why not?

Jessica: It wasn't a robbery. They didn't take anything. What are the police going to do?

Viki: Jessie, somebody broke into your car here on the grounds of this house.

Jessica: It was --

Viki: Look, that's serious!

Jessica: It was probably some kids, Mom, and I'm really -- I'm overreacting.

Viki: No, you are not overreacting. You're scared to death.

Jessica: I'm fine, really. I'm okay now. If anything else happens, I will call Uncle Bo myself. Please, Mom. Tico used to tell me to stay home all the time. He told me it kept me safe, and I just -- I don't want to live that way anymore.

Kelly: Jack, why do you think your daddy's not coming home?

Jack: Because Mommy's sad.

Blair: Oh, Sweetie. Listen, I'm not going to be sad. I'm not going to be sad anymore, I promise, okay?

Jack: Okay.

Blair: I tell you what -- here -- here's your special phone. Why don't you call Daddy and tell him how much you miss him? Why not?

Jack: It won't work.

Kelly: Hey, Jack, I saw that picture you drew for your daddy for Christmas. It was really great. Can you draw me one? I'm going to talk to your mommy for a second, okay? Cool. Thanks. Did you tell him that Todd’s not coming home?

Blair: No, Kelly. But I think he overheard Starr and me arguing. I don't know what I'm going to do. I mean, Starr won't accept that Todd is gone, and Jack never thinks he's coming back.

Kelly: Well, what do you think?

Blair: I'm just trying to face the facts. I mean, Todd walked out on us, he left us a note, and -- I sang to him New Year’s Eve.

Kelly: So, what?

Blair: I know you're probably going to think I'm crazy, but I do think that he heard me. I thought that he was -- I felt that he was listening, and there's a part of me that believes that he didn't walk out on us, that he's out there somewhere and something happened to him. I just -- I just don't know why we haven't heard from him yet.

Dr. Bricker: All right, sign here, please.

Margaret: Oh, sure.

Dr. Bricker: Mr. Dawson's pain medication, antibiotics, and the aftercare instructions that we talked about.

Margaret: Oh, thank you, Doctor.

Woman: Doc Bricker?

Dr. Bricker: Yes.

Woman: I took the phone to Mr. Dawson's room, but he --

Margaret: You what? What phone?

Starr: Have you ever been married?

Daniel: Uh -- yes. I'm divorced. I have a son.

Matthew: He's in Midnight Logic.

Daniel: Yeah, Riley. Maybe you heard of his band.

Starr: Who hasn't? They played at my party.

Daniel: Yeah, you know, I think he told that to me before.

Harrison: Well --

Daniel: Governor.

Harrison: How's the fastest-rising D.A. in the Commonwealth doing?

Daniel: Well, if you're talking about me, things couldn't be better.

Harrison: Good, good, good.

Daniel: Governor, this is Matthew. It's Nora Buchanan’s son. Governor Brooks.

Matthew: Nice to meet you.

Harrison: It's a pleasure, Matthew. I've met your mother several times. Speaking of which -- listen, I've read the good press, you know, falling in love, bringing down the bad guys. That's an incredible story.

Daniel: Thank you, Sir.

Matthew: My dad's the Police Commissioner.

Harrison: Yes, Bo Buchanan. I know your father. He's a fine man.

Starr: I'm Starr Manning.

Daniel: Oh, my apologies. Starr, Governor Brooks.

Harrison: It's nice to meet you, Starr. Listen, any relation to Peyton Manning?

Starr: No. Todd Manning.

Harrison: Oh.

Starr: He's my father. He writes a lot about you in his newspaper, doesn't he?

Harrison: Some, yes. He's an active publisher -- very important to our democracy. I'm glad I ran into you. I have a business proposition that might be of interest to you.

Cristian: Look, it's just a headache. It's been on and off for the past few days.

Antonio: Look, Cris, I know you don't want to hear this, but I don't think you can handle this alone.

Natalie: You said that you would go to counseling. Did you mean that?

Antonio: There's no shame in it, Cris. Just give it a try.

Cristian: All right. All right, I'll make the appointment.

Antonio: Good. Good. Just give it a chance.

Cristian: I'm going to try.

Antonio: All right. I'm going to take off. You let me know how things go.

Natalie: Thank you, Antonio.

Antonio: Sure. See you.

Natalie: Honey, you're doing the right thing.

Cristian: I'm doing this for you.

Natalie: Don't do it for me. Do it for yourself. Listen, Mom gave me a list of doctors, but they're at home.

Cristian: You want to go now?

Natalie: We'll go together. Let's go.

John: I'm sorry about what I said. I'm -- I'm an idiot. But, you know, I also want to be with you, and I don't know how many other ways I can say that. Natalie's someone I care about, and I can't help but think that she's in a bad situation right now.

Evangeline: Look, John, Cristian spent a year on a ship in the middle of nowhere suffering god knows what kind of torture. And maybe all he needs is to be left alone.

John: Okay, may--

[Phone rings]

John: Excuse me. It's the station. I need to take this.

Evangeline: Okay.

John: Give me a minute. Yeah, McBain.

Evangeline: Hey, Antonio.

Antonio: Hi. Anything new on Tico's murder?

Evangeline: Not that I'm aware of, but I'll contact you the minute I hear anything different.

Antonio: Thanks.

Evangeline: Hey, Antonio, is Cristian okay?

Antonio: Well, that's a complicated question, considering everything he's been through.

Evangeline: Did you hear that the two of them almost got into a fight?

Antonio: Yeah, yeah, I heard.

Evangeline: John thinks that all these problems that Cristian’s having -- they could get worse if he doesn't get any help.

Antonio: Yeah, I know. I already spoke to him about it.

Evangeline: Good.

Antonio: What else does John say about Cristian?

Evangeline: Nothing.

Antonio: I don't believe you.

Evangeline: Look, John has the same concerns about Cristian that you do.

Antonio: And what concerns are those, Evangeline?

Evangeline: Fine. It's Cristian’s behavior. It's making John look harder at him as a suspect in Tico's murder.

Antonio: He was recovering from a stab wound and a concussion at the time.

Evangeline: I'm just telling you what I know.

Antonio: Yeah? John knows that if he pushes somebody hard enough they're going to push back. That doesn't make the crazy and it certainly doesn't make them a murderer.

John: Hey.

Antonio: So I guess our New Year's truce is over, right?

John: I have no idea what you're talking about.

Antonio: Yeah? I'm talking about you being in my family's face all the time, so now Cristian’s the murderer, huh? Is that right?

John: I haven't ruled anyone out. If something changes, I will let you know.

Antonio: Well, you know where to reach me. I'll be in touch.

John: So, is that's how it's going to be? Anything I say is fair game for your clients?

Evangeline: Look, I asked Antonio about Cristian. One thing led to another. Look, Antonio told me that Cristian is going to get some help, so can we stop talking about this for five minutes? Forget it.

Bo: Matthew doesn't even really like Daniel.

Nora: How do you know that? Did Matthew say something? No, of course not.

Bo: The point is he tolerates Daniel because he doesn't want to upset you.

Nora: So I should stop dating because my grade-schooler doesn't approve?

Bo: No, no. You should find somebody who Matthew does like.

Nora: You know perfectly well the only man that Matthew would ever approve of is you. And I'm beginning to feel that you feel the same way.

Bo: Excuse me?

Nora: You heard me.

Bo: Well, I guess I have to remind you, then, that I'm happy. You know, I'm involved with Paige.

Nora: No, you don't have to remind me.

Bo: The point is we're talking about you walking out of here and walking right into a disaster, and you're taking our son right along with you.

Nora: So now Daniel and I have been elevated to a disaster?

Bo: Daniel is not the right guy for you.

Nora: And who is the right guy for me, Bo, hmm? You?

Harrison: We've been very impressed with your work, Daniel. As soon as you wrap up the Santi and the Cramer cases, your stock's going to rise even higher.

Daniel: Well, Nora and I are working overtime to do just that, Sir.

Harrison: No, that's good to know. Listen, I can't get into it right now, but there are some big things in the works, so here, call my scheduler in the morning and tell her to set up an appointment with me as soon as possible.

Daniel: I'll do that first thing. Thank you, Governor.

Harrison: You're welcome. I got big plans for you and Nora. Look forward to seeing you.

Daniel: Thank you, Sir.

Harrison: And it was very nice meeting you two.

Starr: Bye.

Harrison: Here you are.

Starr: You can have mine. I'll tell my father you said hello.

Harrison: You do that.

Daniel: Governor.

Harrison: Bye-bye.

Matthew: Why is he making big plans for you and Mom?

Daniel: I don't know. He didn't say.

Matthew: He's acting like you're getting married or something. You're not, are you?

Viki: Carlotta.

Carlotta: Hey, Viki! Hi, Jess!

Viki: Hi.

Carlotta: Some coffee?

Viki: I'd love some coffee. I'm so cold. Thank you.

Carlotta: Here you go, Jess.

Jessica: Oh, thank you.

Carlotta: Hmm. I heard about Todd.

Viki: Yeah, that was a knockout.

Carlotta: Blair and the children are in my prayers.

Viki: Thank you. I will tell her.

Carlotta: Hey, you just missed Antonio. He was here a few minutes ago. Cristian and Natalie, too, but I was in the back so long I didn't get a chance to speak with them.

Viki: You probably haven't had much time with Cristian, have you?

Carlotta: No, unfortunately not, but I understand. He wants to spend most of his time with Natalie right now.

Viki: I'm so grateful that they have had a second chance.

Carlotta: Hmm.

Viki: Although I'm afraid there are others who will not be so lucky.

Jessica: You're talking about Antonio and me?

Viki: No.

Jessica: Mom, it's not going to happen, okay, so just get off my back about it.

Viki: Jessica, I was talking about Todd and Blair, not you and antonio.

Jessica: Just let it go.

Kelly: You really think something happened to Todd?

Blair: Kelly, it's just a feeling. But either way, he's gone. Look, will you give me a few minutes with Jack?

Kelly: Sure, sure, of course. Hey, Jack, you feel like a cheeseburger? I do.

Jack: Yeah!

Kelly: Okay! I'm going to go pick up some.

Blair: Thanks, Kelly.

Kelly: I'll pick up some for all of us.

Blair: Great. Thanks.

Kelly: Sure.

Blair: Hey, big boy.

[Door closes]

Blair: Listen, I'm not going to be sad anymore, okay? I promise. Okay. It's just that, you know, I miss Daddy. I miss Daddy just like you do, and I love him. I love him very, very much. Why don't you call Daddy. Tell him how much you miss him, okay?

Jack: Come home, Daddy.

[Timer rings]

Blair: Oh. It's our chocolate chip cookies. Be right back, Sweetie.

[Phone rings]

Jack: Hello.

Todd: Hey, Jack? Jack, it's me, Buddy. Jack --

Blair: Who's on the phone, Sweetie?

Jack: Daddy.

Blair: It can't be out of range. This is really, really, really important. Now, tell me, who was on the telephone?

Jack: Daddy.

Blair: No, not the pretend phone. On this phone, okay?

Jack: It was Daddy!

Margaret: Do you want me to kill you, Todd? Is that what you want? Is it?

Bo: Nora, there are few things in this life that I am sure of, and one of them is that you and I definitely do not belong together.

Nora: Oh, I agree.

Bo: And that's not what we're talking about, anyway.

Nora: No, that's not what any of this is about. I love Daniel. He's kind, he's patient, he understands me, he's put up with more than any man should have, and he still hasn't given up on me.

Bo: Hmm. Then why didn't you jump at the chance to marry him? Why did you ask me to throw my two cents in?

Nora: You are Matthew’s father. I thought you should know.

Bo: Yes, and as Matthew’s father, I'm telling you I don't think you should do it. Now, that's my opinion, and that's not going to change just because you don't like it.

Nora: You don't know Daniel the way I do. Of course, you couldn't possibly even relate to him because he's not an almighty Buchanan.

Bo: Oh, Nora, you better be careful what you say about the almighty Buchanans, because your son is one of them.

Daniel: Matthew, if your mom and I were to get married, how would you feel about that?

Starr: That's just not going to happen.

Daniel: Let's let Matthew answer that, Starr. What do you say, Matthew?

Matthew: Well, my Mom likes you a lot, but she would never get married, not without telling me first.

Jessica: Mom, I'm really sorry. I have no idea where that came from. I'm sorry.

Viki: It's okay. It's all right. I know that you're upset. Having your car broken into is not exactly the nicest way to start the morning anyway.

Jessica: But it's no excuse. God, I'm so embarrassed. I'm so sorry.

Viki: Jessica, stop it, okay? It's okay. All right?

Jessica: Mm-hmm.

Viki: You know what? I think we'll just pack it in and we'll go home, okay? I'm going to reschedule my meeting with Kelly.

Jessica: Oh, no, please don’t. Just go to your meeting. I'll be fine. I'm just going to go to the ladies' room and collect myself and I'll be fine. I'll be right back.

Antonio: Viki?

Viki: Antonio. Hey, sit down.

Antonio: I don't mean to butt in, but I've just never seen Jessica speak to you that way.

Viki: Yeah. I think she's under an awful lot of pressure, you know?

Antonio: If it's me, please let me know.

Viki: I don't think I can talk to you about your relationship with my daughter.

Antonio: I just want to help.

Viki: I know you do. I know. Frankly, I think the best thing that you can do is give her some time, okay? I just want to go see if she's all right. I'll be right back.

Natalie: I know this doctor. I met her in the cafeteria when mom was in the hospital, and her office is right next to the Pathology lab.

Soldier: Good news. They're ready for you in the lab.

Cristian: I can't do this.

Natalie: What? Cristian, I thought we decided.

Cristian: Look, I'll go to therapy. I just can't do this now.

Jessica: I'm fine, Mom, really. You're the one that should be upset with me.

Viki: Honey, the only reason I'm upset is because you are obviously going through a very difficult time, and I would like to be able to help you.

Jessica: I love you, Mom.

Viki: I love you, Baby.

Jessica: But I'm a big girl, sometimes I'm a big girl, and I got to -- I can handle this. I'm just going to take this stuff home, relax, put my feet up, and I'll be fine, okay?

Viki: Okay.

Jessica: See you later.

Margaret: This is exactly why I thought he should be sedated. He was thrashing around so much, I thought he might harm himself.

Dr. Bricker: It's all right. It's for the pain.

Margaret: There, Darling. Thank you, Doctor.

Dr. Bricker: I'll be right back with the wheelchair.

Margaret: Okay. Time to go and make our baby.

Jack: Can I please speak to Daddy?

Kelly: Look what I have! Did I give you guys enough time? What is it? What's going on?

Blair: I don't know, Kelly, but maybe it was a crank, I'm not sure, but somebody just called, and I swear it sounded like they were really trying to talk, but they couldn’t.

Kelly: I don't know what you're talking about.

Blair: I can't be positive, but I swear I think Todd just called.

Bo: Careful, Nora. You're entering hostile territory.

Nora: Well, from what I've been learning, we've been there for a while.

Bo: Now, I don't get it. You ask for my blessing -- or whatever it was that you wanted, and then I give you what you think is not the right answer, then you get pissed.

Nora: I never asked for your blessing. I came here to extend a courtesy, for which I'm now deeply regretful.

Bo: All right, good, go ahead. Then do it, do it. Marry Colson. And then when things don't work out, I'm going to do everything I possibly can not to say, "I told you so."

Nora: Oh, you're being such a jerk. You are.

Daniel: Nora?

Nora: Hi, Sweetie. Your father and I were just discussing something, that's all.

Bo: Hey, bud, how was lunch?

Nora: Hey, you okay?

Daniel: Yeah, you'll never guess who we ran into.

Nora: Who?

Daniel: Governor Brooks. A very, very interesting conversation. I'll fill you in later. It was all good.

Nora: Good. Listen, Sweetheart, I'm really sorry, but I have a hearing that I have got to go, and it's probably going to go for a long time, all right, so you can go to my office and you can start your homework.

Daniel: Well, hey, Nora, if you want, I'll take him home. We can hang out, grab some pizza till you get back.

Nora: That would be great. Thank you. All right, you can play some video games, okay, and then I'll be home really soon.

Matthew: Bye, Dad.

Bo: See ya, bud.

Nora: Behave.

Nora: That man takes insults from you, attitude from Matthew, and he's still taking my son home, getting him dinner and waiting for me. It's taken me a long time to find someone who loves me like that. So if your gut says that he is all wrong, tough, because I think he's all right. I'm telling Daniel yes, I will marry him.

John: Is this seat taken? "No, John, it's available."

John: I want to apologize, again. Doing that a lot lately.

Evangeline: No, I'm sorry, too. I shouldn't have talked to Antonio about Cristian.

John: This is tougher than I thought it was going to be.

Evangeline: Yeah.

John: Lately, all work, no play.

Evangeline: No one would ever call you a dull boy, John.

John: So you think maybe you want to go play somewhere?

Evangeline: Yeah.

John: Let's go.

Distorted voice: Antonio Vega is not your brother -- your brother -- your brother -- is not your brother -- your brother -- your brother -- your brother -- your brother --

Distorted voice: Antonio Vega is not your brother. He is Manuel Santi, the son of one of the most brutal crime lords in North America. Remember this. It's important. For what we need you to do is --

Natalie: Cris, are you okay?

Natalie: What are you thinking?

Cristian: I'm thinking how much I love you.

Carlotta: Is Jessica all right?

Viki: Why don't you sit? Yeah, I think she's all right. You know, she's so angry.

Carlotta: I see that. But I kind of understand. I think Cristian is feeling the same thing. You know, I'm so grateful that he's home, but I see something, something seething inside of him. It scares me, Viki.

Viki: Yeah, I'll bet it does.

Carlotta: It's strange, you know? A few months ago, we were afraid for Jessica and Antonio, and now Cristian. When do we ever get to stop being afraid?

Viki: Hmm, never. We're parents. Parents will always be afraid for their children.

Carlotta: Yeah.

Antonio: Whoa, whoa. It's just me. Pocket cop? I've missed you.

Margaret: I pulled the car up to the entrance, Honey. We'll be home in no time.

Todd: Blair.

Kelly: Was there anything on the Caller I.D.?

Blair: No, it just said it was out of range, but I am sure that it was Todd.

Kelly: How?

Blair: Well, Jack -- Jack spoke to him.

Kelly: Blair, are you sure he was talking about the real phone?

Blair: It was on this phone, Kelly. I swear, it was -- look, you said so yourself, when Ace was taken, you could feel him, right?

Kelly: Okay, if it was Todd, why wouldn't he say anything?

Blair: I don't know. It sounded like he was gasping for air, for breath.

Kelly: Why would he hang up the phone?

Blair: I don't have any idea, but the good thing is that maybe he heard me when I was singing on TV.

Kelly: Oh, God, I hope you're right.

Blair: Yeah.

Kelly: Listen, I got to go meet Viki for lunch. She'll be really happy to hear about this.

Blair: No, no, no, no. No. Just don't tell Viki yet. Just let me make sure, you know, okay?

Kelly: Okay.

Blair: All right.

Kelly: Whatever you want. Hey, goodbye, Sweetie! See you later. Okay, goodbye.

Blair: Thanks. All right. Send my love to Viki.

Kelly: Yeah, keep me posted.

Blair: I will. Hey! Come here, big guy! You come here, you come here, you come here. Ooh! Daddy is out there, and we're going to find him, and I am going to bring him home, okay? I'm going to bring Daddy home. I'm going to find him. I'm going to find your daddy.
