Happy Holidays!!!

Cristian: Okay, one last appointment. No more stitches and, hopefully, no more hospital.

Natalie: You know, as long as you're here, why don't you tell the doctor about your headaches?

Cristian: It's not that bad.

Natalie: I know, but I've watched you in pain and having these nightmares, and after last night I did some research, and it could be a number of things.

Cristian: Natalie, I'm telling you, I'm fine.

Natalie: Cristian, you might have posttraumatic stress --

Cristian: Natalie, stop it! Nothing is wrong with me, okay? It's just a couple of headaches, that's all.

Natalie: Okay. I just hate seeing you suffer.

Nurse: Mr. Vega?

Cristian: Okay. I shouldn't be long.

John: Hey. You okay?

Natalie: Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just worried about Cristian.

Matthew: Hey, Mom.

Nora: Hey! I wasn't expecting to see you so soon.

Bo: I hope it's okay, but I got to get to the office soon.

Nora: Sure it is. Come here; give me a kiss. How was the wedding?

Matthew: There wasn't one.

Nora: There wasn't one? Todd and Blair didn't get married?

Matthew: Starr's really sad -- I mean really sad.

Nora: Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. I have an idea. Want to go up and make her a card?

Matthew: You think she'd like that?

Nora: I think she'd like that a lot.

Matthew: All right, I'm going to go work on it. Bye, Dad.

Bo: See you later, Bud.

Nora: Bye. Can I buy you a cup of coffee?

Bo: Yeah, yeah, that sounds good.

Nora: And then you can feel me in on what interrupted the festivities yet again?

Bo: Well, Todd left a note and he took off. Just typical.

Nora: I have to tell you that I am surprised.

Bo: Why? It's Todd Manning we're talking about.

Nora: I know, but this is a guy who came to the police station desperate to get a woman he can't stand out of prison so that she could attend the festivities. That sound like a man who's about to jilt his bride?

Bo: Oh, that's good. No, I don't know. Whatever. Hey, what do you think Colson's going to say when he finds out that you let Dorian and Vickers off?

Nora: I don't know, and he doesn't know it yet. I haven't been able to find him. I think he's avoiding me.

Riley: I see your future

Daniel: Hey, son.

Riley: Behind my past

Daniel: Riley?

Riley: Hey, hey. I didn't see you.

Daniel: I know. Hey, that sounded pretty good, the little bit I heard.

Riley: Yeah, it's for Jen. I'm trying to cheer her up a bit.

Daniel: Oh, what's going on?

Riley: She's not saying, but I'm pretty sure something's bothering her.

Daniel: Yeah. Yeah, I kind of noticed that, too.

Riley: You did?

Daniel: Well, the other night when I ran into you and Jen with Lindsay, Jen seemed kind of rattled by something. It was when Paul Cramerís murder was brought up.

Riley: I'll tell you what's probably bothering her is you accusing her of murder.

Jen: You almost done?

Marcie: No, not even close.

Jen: How long you going to stay?

Marcie: Till I've reached my goal.

Jen: Which is what, running a marathon?

Marcie: Well, Hayes says I have to look good for when I promote "The Killing Club."

Jen: You can tell Hayes you look good the way you are.

Marcie: Thanks. But, no, I definitely have room for lots of improvement.

Kevin: Hey, Adriana. Glad I ran into you.

Adriana: Look, I think we said all there is to say last night.

Kevin: Look, I'm sorry about that, all right, but I'm really desperate here. Ace has been missing for weeks.

Adriana: And I'm very sorry about that.

Kevin: Why don't you help me, then?

Adriana: I don't know where Duke is, okay? I haven't heard from him.

Kevin: Okay, but if you do know where he is, you're not helping him by not telling me, all right? I mean, you could be putting his life at risk.

[Phone rings]

Duke: Hello? Hey, what's up, man? Really? Hey, what motel is that? Okay, and when'd you see them? Okay, hey -- no, thank you, man. All right, I'll talk to you later.

Kelly: Was that your friend?

Duke: He's a pretty good cop. Apparently, Brad and Kate Anderson, A.K.A. Babe Chandler and whoever the heck else she's with, were spotted at a motel outside Tallahassee after that benefit concert you mentioned.

Kelly: Oh, my God! Ace! We did it. We did it. We found my son!

Kelly: Where is this hotel?

Duke: Kelly, hold on.

Kelly: Is it close to here?

Duke: Kelly, hold on.

Kelly: We have to get over there right away.

Duke: Listen, Kelly --

Kelly: Because if we wait too long, they might --

Duke: They already left.

Kelly: They left?

Duke: Listen, by the time my friend could get there, they'd already checked out.

Kelly: Well, then -- then we're right back to where we started -- nowhere.

Duke: Hey, not exactly. I mean, we got a good idea on Babe Chandler's car. They were spotted heading on Route 71, which means they're probably on their way to New Orleans, okay? There's going to be troopers all along the way watching out for them.

Key: Unofficially?

Duke: You got it.

Kelly: Well, I don't suppose you could give me a lift to New Orleans?

Duke: All we got to do is refuel. But in the meantime, I can offer you this. It's either this or my grandpa's beef jerky.

Kelly: Um, I'm not really all that hungry.

Duke: All right. We'll get a good meal in the french quarter.

Kelly: Look at you, Duke Buchanan, taking good care of me, taking charge. You remind me of someone.

Duke: Oh, yeah? Who's that?

Kelly: Your father.

Adriana: Mr. Buchanan, please stop trying to manipulate me.

Kevin: I am not manipulating -- the people who have Ace are dangerous.

Adriana: I realize that!

Kevin: Well, Duke and Kelly should not be trying to handle this without the police. They are in way over their heads. Adriana, all I'm trying to do is make sure that they're safe -- Ace, Duke, Kelly, everyone -- that's all. Now, if you have any information, if you know at all where they are, you have to tell me.

Jen: Did your agent order you to lose weight?

Marcie: No, Hayes just wants me to be the best me that I can be. He got me a personal trainer and he got me a stylist. We've been going shopping for lots of slenderizing clothes, lots of black.

Jen: Marcie, you don't have to dress like a ghoul. And you don't have to work out like a maniac, either. You wrote a great book. All you got to do is go out there and be you.

Marcie: Well, Hayes says that beauty brings in the bucks, you know? And he works in the publishing business, so he knows these things, right?

Jen: You okay?

Marcie: Yeah! Yeah, I'm great. You know, I just think I should take a little break, that's all.

Jen: Well, as far as I'm concerned, if beauty brings in the bucks, then you've got it made. You're going to rake it in.

Marcie: You know what? You're really sweet. But you're my friend. You have to say that.

Jen: Well, ask Michael. He'd say the same thing. Does he know how much time you're spending at the gym?

Marcie: No.

Jen: Have you told him about this crazy workout schedule?

Marcie: No, okay, and I don't want you to tell him, either!

Paige: No, you know, I think the wound is healing just fine. We can get rid of those stitches today, all right? I'll be right back.

Michael: Dr. Miller? Was the schedule changed? Because I could've sworn I was supposed to see Cristian Vega this morning.

Paige: I'm sorry; I thought one of the nurses would've told you.

Michael: All right, well, listen, if you want to take sutures out, be my guest. I'm having a hard time understanding how you got stuck with the sunrise shift. I mean, you must have really gotten under somebody's skin.

Paige: I was asked to come in early. I'll be going on your rounds with you today, Michael.

Michael: You're checking up on me.

Paige: Look; you have to answer questions today to the board about Tico Santiís death. It's going to be a very stressful day for you. I'm just going to help you out, take a little bit of the burden off your shoulders.

Michael: And, what, make sure that I don't kill any more patients?

John: What's going on? Something happen with Cris?

Natalie: No. No, no, he just came to get his stitches out and -- you know, he sneezes and I worry. What are you doing here?

John: I'm just interviewing some of the staff.

Natalie: Oh, you mean grilling them about the night Tico died?

John: You know me.

Natalie: Yeah.

John: Yeah.

Natalie: Sometimes you think you know someone until you find out you're really a perfect stranger.

Bo: Never known of Daniel Colson avoiding anybody, you know, except when you guys had problems off the job.

Nora: Yeah, well, we're -- you know, everything's great with us off the job.

Bo: Hmm.

Nora: At least they were. I don't know, maybe he's avoiding me because he's trying to figure out a way to fire me.

Bo: Oh, come on. Daniel's not going to fire you for cutting Dorian and Vickers loose. That was the right move. I just don't want to see it get in the way of your personal life. Ahem.

Nora: I don't really want to talk about my personal life.

Bo: Sorry.

Nora: No, I mean, you don't want to talk about your personal life with Paige, do you? I mean, obviously -- well, even though it's going great.

Bo: Yeah, okay, you're right. I don't want to talk about that.

Nora: Okay, well, then, you know, good. So we won't talk about that.

Bo: Okay.

Nora: Okay.

Bo: Suits me. I'd better get going.

Nora: Okay. Wow. What are you going in so early for?

Bo: We got a break in the Paul Cramer case.

Nora: New suspect?

Bo: New evidence.

Bo: I went over all the evidence again with forensics, including the stuff that we found in Cramerís room. Now, we'd missed a little piece of a bank statement.

Nora: I thought you'd found that it was an account at Llanview bank, it was overdrawn.

Bo: Yeah, but this is a different account, probably a different bank, too. But it listed at least three deposits of 25,000 each.

Nora: Well. I guess Paul Cramer wasn't broke.

Bo: No. And the regularity of these deposits, that tells me somebody was paying him off.

Nora: I guess the question is, who and why?

Daniel: I didn't accuse Jen of anything, Riley. I questioned her, yeah.

Riley: Why? Dorian Lord has already been arrested for Cramerís murder.

Daniel: I guess you haven't read the news today. They're reopening the investigation.

Riley: What about that witness?

Daniel: Well, she didn't actually see the murder, and the rest of the evidence is all circumstantial.

Riley: But you can go to court on circumstantial evidence. You said that.

Daniel: Not if I don't believe the defendant is guilty. Look, Riley, I think you'd better prepare yourself for the possibility that Jen will be questioned for this again.

Riley: She told the police everything she knows.

Daniel: Did she? Riley, you know she met with Cramer shortly before he was murdered, several times. I mean, you told me yourself you saw her in his room.

Riley: He was blackmailing her, Dad!

Daniel: Yeah, yeah. You know what that means? That means she has a motive. And she's also never fully accounted for her whereabouts the night of the murder.

Riley: All right, I get the point. I don't care how it looks. She didn't do this. I know her.

Daniel: Are you sure about that?

Jen: Michael will say you're pushing yourself too hard, and that's why you haven't told him.

Marcie: Jen, we have enough problems already.

Jen: Because of the book still?

Marcie: I guess so. I don't really know. You know, I've just been so busy with the book about to be published that I still don't have any time for him.

Jen: Well, he has to know this book stuff's not going to last forever, right?

Marcie: Normally, I think he would. He's just -- he's been under a lot of stress lately and he's having a really hard time. You know, he was the doctor on duty the day Tico Santi was murdered.

Jen: I think the two of you just need some quality time together, outside of Llanview maybe.

Marcie: You know what I wish? I wish -- I wish we could do it today, but he's working 36-hour shifts and I have to finish my workout, and then I have to go get highlights and a chemical peel and all these crazy things. Listen, I got to hurry up, okay? I'll see you later. Whoa.

Jen: Have you eaten today?

Marcie: Yeah.

Jen: What did you have, a cup of coffee?

Marcie: I had breakfast and I had some -- some cottage cheese.

Jen: Marcie, are you on some kind of crazy crash diet?

Marcie: No! No, I'm just -- I'm just eating less, that's all.

Jen: How much less?

Marcie: Jen, come on, I can afford to miss a couple of meals.

Jen: What?

Marcie: It's no big deal!

Jen: Wrong, Marcie, it is a big deal.

Adriana: Maybe I'm not as worried about Duke as you are because I trust him. I know he would never walk into a situation if he thought he'd put Kelly or Ace in danger. And I'm sure he'll be really touched by your concern. I'm late for class.

[Phone rings]

Adriana: Hello?

Duke: Hey, Adriana, it's me.

John: You know, I don't want to sound intrusive or anything, but what were you just talking about?

Natalie: Huh?

John: You were getting all philosophical about not really knowing someone.

Natalie: Oh. Nothing. I'm just talking.

John: Okay. Hope that wasn't some roundabout kind of way of calling me a stranger, especially since I told you all that secret crud last year around Christmastime?

Natalie: Right, about Michael not showing up for Christmas. You know, I still can't picture you jumping from chair to chair, having an imaginary conversation --

John: All right, that's okay. I don't need the recap. You didn't tell anybody, did you?

Natalie: No. Your secret's safe with me.

John: Hmm.

Natalie: Now, you didn't tell anybody about all those Christmases I had with Roxy, did you?

John: She really set a Christmas tree on fire?

Natalie: Yep. I mean, I'm surprised it only happened once. Can't believe it's been a year since we talked about all that stuff. That was an awful time.

John: I remember.

Natalie: You know, you took your life in your own hands coming up to Grandpa's lodge trying to find me. A lot's happened since then.

John: Yeah, a lot's happened.

Paige: Look; the Chief of Medicine was concerned that you'd have a lot on your mind today with the board hearing.

Michael: I still don't need somebody standing over my shoulder.

Paige: You lost your first patient.

Michael: I didn't lose Tico Santi.

Paige: Regardless of the circumstances, the patient died while under your watch. Look, don't tell me that doesnít. I know because I've been there. You start second-guessing everything, Michael.

Michael: Tico Santi was murdered. His death had absolutely nothing to do with his medical care! All of this is just another excuse to hang me out to dry.

Man: Dr. Miller. The board's ready for you, Dr. McBain.

Michael: Yes, Sir.

Paige: Thank you. Thank you.

Paige: Hi. Cristian, you know, I was going over your medical chart before your appointment, and I noticed that, aside from your stab wound and your concussion, you did have a previous injury. You want to tell me how you hurt your ribs?

Cristian: Nothing to tell. I'm fine now.

Paige: Okay. All right. What about your headaches?

Cristian: Who told you that?

Paige: Your wife phoned me earlier. She's worried about you. I just want to make sure that we don't have anything to worry about.

Riley: You're wrong about Jen, Dad. I know her. She couldn't kill anybody. She couldn't.

Daniel: Riley, years of experience have taught me that anyone is capable of anything under the right circumstances. Maybe it was self-defense. There could be all kinds of reasons, especially considering the victim, but -- you're my son. You're my concern. And that's why I need you to ask yourself, how well do you really know this girl?

Jen: I can't even trust myself. I always screw everything up. God, I'm just so angry, sometimes I just am walking around, because right now I don't know what I'm going to do next!

Riley: I know you've done things you're not proud of, okay, but I also know you don't want to do them again.

Jen: Maybe I already have.

Jen: Why are you giving in to pressure from that agent, anyway?

Marcie: Because he's the expert.

Jen: Well, you're the only one that knows what's right for you.

Marcie: Jennifer, nobody is that secure, okay? Look, I'm not -- I'm not trying to be you. I just -- I just want to be in a little better shape, okay? You know, Hayes says that you have to do all these TV interviews and he says the camera adds, like, 10 pounds.

Jen: He's exaggerating.

Marcie: Yeah, but what if I look awful, Jen? Look at me.

Jen: You'll look beautiful. And a few people might actually want to hear what you have to say.

Marcie: Thanks.

Jen: Look, I got to take off, but just promise me that you're going to quit soon.

Marcie: I promise. I promise!

Jen: I'm watching you, Marcie Walsh.

Marcie: Yeah, I know. Okay.

[Treadmill beeps]

Adriana: Hey, Linda. Yeah, I've got those notes from class. Can I call you later?

Duke: Ah, you're not alone.

Adriana: Not right now.

Duke: Is it my dad?

Adriana: Uh-huh.

Duke: Okay, I got it. Well, I just wanted to call and let you know that Kelly and I are in good shape and that I am thinking about you.

Adriana: You, too. Talk to you later.

Duke: Well, you'd better.

Adriana: Bye.

Kevin: Oh, you can run, but you can't hide.

Riley: In her eyes I see the summer sunset I see the rivers runnin' wild I see my future beside my past I left behind I see the dead of winter I see the glowin' grace of time I see the world before me everything I need in Jenís eyes

Jen: Hey.

Riley: Hey, you just get here?

Jen: I've been listening a while. I haven't heard that one before.

Riley: It's new.

Jen: Is it for me? Thank you. I love it.

Riley: It's not finished yet.

Jen: What's the matter? Riley?

Riley: Can I ask you something?

Jen: What?

Riley: The night you left Capricorn, you never told me where you went.

Jen: I just went for a walk.

Riley: A little late for that.

Jen: I was upset. My stomach hurt. I just needed some fresh air. Are you mad because I left while you were playing?

Riley: Not really. But I did notice it was right after that thing on the news about Paul Cramerís murder, the new evidence.

Jen: Why are you so obsessed with this? Dorian's out of jail?

Riley: Which means they will be questioning everyone again, including you.

Jen: Well, I don't care. I don't have anything to hide. You think that I did it, don't you? You think that I killed Paul?

Nora: How many people could have that kind of resource for payoffs?

Bo: Well, any number of people.

Nora: You know, Dorian said that Cramer was blackmailing Kevin.

Bo: Yeah, which could be true, or it could be Dorian taking a shot at somebody she doesn't like. No matter what, you know, we're going to have to take a look at everyone on this.

Nora: Oh, we're starting from square one? Ugh.

[Doorbell rings]

Nora: Oh. Hi!

Daniel: Well, hey, Nora. Look, I know you're not coming to the office today, but -- hey, Bo.

Bo: What do you say, Daniel?

Nora: Um, Bo -- come in, come in. Have some coffee. Bo dropped Matthew off, and we were just talking about the Cramer case.

Daniel: So you decided to release Dorian Lord?

Bo: You know, look, I leaned on her pretty hard to do that.

Nora: You know what -- you don't need to defend me, Bo. Yes, I did. Look, we've all had our doubts about Dorianís guilt, and I did try to find you.

Daniel: Look, Nora, it's okay.

Nora: It is?

Daniel: Yeah. I was unavailable, and you did what you had to do.

Nora: Exactly.

Daniel: Exactly. So in the meantime, any new leads?

Bo: Yeah, there was a bank account that we weren't aware of and at least three deposits were made in it electronically -- sa day, but two weeks apart.

Nora: If we could just trace the source.

Daniel: Well, I have a friend down at the Federal Reserve. I'll give him a call.

Bo: That would be great.

Daniel: Yeah, I just want this thing to close.

Bo: Yeah. It'd be nice to have a free weekend for a change.

Nora: Don't we know it.

Bo: Well, look, I got to get to the office, okay? Tell Matthew that I'll call him, all right?

Nora: Okay.

Daniel: Hey, hey. What are you doing?

Nora: I'm showing you how happy I am to see you. Is there a problem with that?

Daniel: Yeah, yeah, there is if you're doing this to compete with Bo.

Paige: Well, according to the tests that you had when you were an inpatient, there's no medical reason for your headaches.

Cristian: Natalie's overreacting.

Paige: I'd still like to run a few tests.

Cristian: No, no, there's no need. I'm fine.

Paige: You know, headaches can be caused by other things -- stress, anxiety.

Cristian: Who can avoid stress, right?

Paige: Yeah, right. Hey, Cristian, you know what? Maybe you should talk to somebody about what you went through.

Cristian: I don't need a shrink.

Paige: You know, there's no shame in finding support.

Cristian: I have my wife and my family.

Paige: That might not be enough. Now, I'm not a therapist, but I do know that if you hang on to traumatic experiences, I mean, it can haunt you forever. Why don't you just think about it, all right? Dr. Janssen will be in in a minute to take out those stitches.

Paige: Hey, that was quick. How'd it go with the board?

Michael: I think what you mean to ask me is, did I save the hospital from a massive media scandal?

Paige: Oh, man, we are on your side. I wish you could believe that.

Michael: You're on my side? Really? Everybody knows that Tico Santi was murdered. Everybody knows that the cops screwed up. But the hospital is shifting its attention to the patient's medical care. Hmm.

Paige: Michael, we've got to talk about this later because I've got patients to go see.

Michael: Yeah, well, let me know when you're going to go on rounds, okay? I wouldn't dare go on my own. I might kill another patient and tarnish the hospital's spotless reputation.

Marcie: Michael, what are you doing? He didn't mean any of that, Dr. Miller.

Paige: No, it's okay, it's okay. I knew this was going to be a rough day for you, and you know what, yes, I will. I'll let you know when I'm ready for rounds.

Michael: Don't you ever apologize for me.

Marcie: You could've lost your job, Michael!

Michael: That's my decision!

Marcie: I was just trying to help you!

Michael: Yeah, well, don't, okay? Do I try and help you? Do I tell you what to do, what to say to your agent, your -- your publisher, your editor? No, I don't! Because you don't need my help, either.

Marcie: Is that true? You don't think that we need each other, Michael? Is that true?

Duke: I need you to answer something for me. I mean, you said before that if we went to the police, you'd never see Ace again. Why?

Kelly: It's complicated, Duke. You wouldn't understand.

Duke: No, listen, I told you I'd have to know the truth, okay? So we are not getting off this plane until you tell me everything. \

Kevin: The last guy on the case came with glowing recommendations, too, but he blew it.

Man: Don't worry, Mr. Buchanan. I'll find your ex-wife.

Kevin: All right, well, I have some information that might help you out. First off, my son Duke's with Kelly right now. I got a picture for you of both of them.

Man: It's always easier to find two people traveling together than one person alone.

Kevin: All right, now, you might want to have a guy keep an eye on one of Duke's friends, Adriana Cramer. I think that maybe he's been in touch with her.

Man: Well, he'll probably call again.

Kevin: Right, and I got a file for you in my briefcase. Come on.

John: I guess you're really looking forward to Christmas this year. I'm glad you'll be spending it with Cris.

Natalie: Yeah. Yeah, and you'll be with Evangeline. It's great.

John: I guess we're both pretty lucky.

Natalie: Yeah. Hey. All set?

Cristian: Mm-hmm.

John: How you feeling, Cris? It was good seeing you both.

Natalie: Bye.

Cristian: What did he want?

Natalie: Nothing, nothing. He was just here working on a case. I'm sure it's about Tico.

Cristian: Is he getting anywhere with that?

Natalie: I don't know. He wouldn't even admit to me that he was working on that, so --

Cristian: He looks guilty every time I'm around him.

Natalie: Did you ask Dr. Miller about your headaches?

Cristian: Yeah, she told me you called. Thanks.

Natalie: What did she say?

Cristian: The headaches are from stress. The doctor's not worried about them. She said they'll probably go away, you know, now that I'm done with all this medical stuff.

Natalie: What if they don't?

Cristian: Would you stop worrying? They will.

Michael: I don't want to fight.

Marcie: I don't want to fight either, okay?

Michael: Well, then let's just drop it.

Marcie: Do you know I got up at 5:00 a.m. today?

Michael: Well, if you're tired, then go and take a nap.

Marcie: Michael, I got up at 5:00 a.m. today because I have four meetings and an appointment and I wanted to see you first. But now, you know, I think I'm actually sorry that I even came here.

Michael: So, what, you want me to feel sorry, too?

Marcie: Why are you being such a jerk?

Michael: I don't know. I don't know, maybe that's just it. Maybe I'm just a jerk, okay? I'm not perfect like Al.

Marcie: Why -- why are you -- you think I'm comparing you to Al?

Bo: Well, there you are.

Paige: Hi.

Bo: Hi.

Paige: Bo, I hope you don't need a doctor.

Bo: Oh, I do, I do. I just -- I don't need her for her medical skills.

Paige: So what brings you by?

Bo: Just on my way to work and I thought I'd stop, say hello. Hello.

Paige: That's a good reason, good reason. So did you already take Matthew home?

Bo: Mm-hmm.

Paige: He had fun at the wedding?

Bo: It never happened.

Paige: Ooh. That doesn't sound good.

Bo: No, the bride and the groom, they've been breaking it up and then putting it back together for years. I don't think they're ever going to work it out.

Paige: Well, you know, some relationships, they're just beyond repair.

Bo: Mm-hmm. I don't want to be in one of those.

Daniel: You're overcompensating.

Nora: What?

Daniel: Well, you see things heating up between Bo and Paige, and suddenly here comes Daniel, let's get hot and heavy with him.

Nora: Wait a minute, "Suddenly"? Daniel, you and I have been seeing each other for months.

Daniel: Yeah, yeah, and I've been pretty damn patient.

Nora: Is that what this is about, sex? About making love? I'm sorry, Daniel, I can't help it if I haven't been ready.

Daniel: Nora, I have never forced that issue.

Nora: No, but it's obvious you resent it.

Daniel: No, no, what I resent is playing backup to Bo.

Nora: What are you talking about? Oh, God, Daniel, we've gone through this before. We've discussed this. Bo and I are friends, we're co-parents to Matthew, and we're co-workers.

Daniel: Nora, if you could see what I see just for once, you'd understand.

Nora: Okay, just for once, enlighten me. What is it that you see?

Daniel: You're holding on to the hope somewhere deep down inside that you and Bo will get back together again. No, but, Nora, it's okay. And you know what? If it hasn't happened already, it's never going to happen. But it's your life. If you want to spend your time wasting it, go right ahead.

Matthew: Mom?

Nora: Honey, uh -- how long have you been here?

Matthew: I heard what Mr. Colson said.

Nora: Oh, God.

Matthew: Is it true that you and Dad won't get back together?

Bo: Yeah, I've been in some pretty terrific relationships before. I just never thought I'd end up alone at this particular time of my life.

Paige: You're only alone if you want to be.

Bo: You want to continue this conversation over dinner?

Paige: Mm-hmm, mm-hmm. Yeah, I do.

Bo: Okay.

Paige: Where?

Bo: My place, 7:00?

Paige: That'd be great. That'd be great.

Bo: I'm so sorry. I don't even know what got into me. I couldn't stop myself.

Marcie: You haven't brought up Al in months. Why now, Michael?

Michael: Well, when you start pointing out what's wrong with me, I think the comparison is pretty much implied.

Marcie: Well, you're wrong, okay? And you know what? I wasn't pointing out what was wrong with you. What is with you lately?

Michael: Oh, I think you said it before -- I'm a jerk!

Marcie: Well, I guess that's it, then, isn't it?

Michael: Marcie! Marcie! Marcie, Marcie, honey? Sweetie?

Adriana: Hey, Duke, it's me. Look, your dad knows you're with Kelly, okay, and he's got people looking for you. I don't think you should contact me anymore. I don't want to risk giving you away. But I am thinking of you, a lot. So good luck. Bye, Duke.

Kelly: Duke, we're wasting time. I want to go find my baby.

Duke: And I want to know what we're walking into.

Kelly: Fine, then I'll go by myself.

Duke: Kelly, hey, you need my help, okay, and it'll be a whole lot easier to help you if you tell me what's really going on.

Kelly: You'll hate me.

Duke: Kelly, I could never hate you. Come on. Now, tell me so we can go find Ace.

Kelly: I'm not Ace's mother.

Riley: I did not say you killed Paul.

Jen: You didn't have to. The look on your face said it all.

Riley: Jen --

Jen: How could you believe that I would kill somebody? How -- why would you even want to be with somebody who you think might be a murderer?

Riley: Jen, I didn't say that --

Jen: I have to get out of here.

Riley: Look, just don't go, okay? I'm sorry. I didn't mean -- I just don't want to hurt you. You know, actually, I have no idea what I was trying to do. I'm sorry.

Riley: Better?

Riley: You want to go up to our room?

Nora: You know nothing's changed since the last time we talked, right? Bo and I are just pals, like you and Starr are pals? And we're a team where it comes to looking out for you, and a pretty good team I think we are, too, if I say so myself.

Matthew: Yeah, but you won't get married again.

Nora: No, Sweetie, we're not going to get married again. Mr. Colson's right.

Matthew: But will you pick Mr. Colson?

Nora: Oh. Mr. Colson and I are -- we're good friends. But, well, marriage is a very big step.

Matthew: So that means maybe?

Nora: Yeah. I guess it does.

John: How many of these staff had access to Mr. Santi's room?

Nurse: Quite a few.

John: Okay. I'm going to need a copy of this list when you get a chance. You sure you didn't see anybody suspicious hanging around that night?

Nurse: If I had, I would've called security.

John: All right, thanks. That's it for now.

Nurse: If you wait a minute, I'll copy this for you.

John: That'd be great. Thank you.

Natalie: I don't think it would be such a bad idea to talk to a psychologist about the nightmares you've been having.

Cristian: Would you please just let this go already, Natalie? Please. Look, the doctor didn't say anything about a shrink. So can we just focus on what we have to look forward to, like a married Christmas and a brand-new year?

Natalie: Okay.

Cristian: Look, I -- I want us both to forget about all this stuff we've been through for the past year. I'm going to go fill out my prescription. Be right back.

John: Thank you. Here's one of my cards. Hey.

Natalie: Hi. I didn't know you were still here.

John: Just on my way out. Hey, look, I know we're keeping our distance from one another, but I just want you to know if you need a friend, you got one.

Natalie: Thanks.

John: I'll see you.

 >> On the next "One Life to Live" --

Kelly: If I have to take Ace, I will take him and disappear.

Bo: You and Daniel are sleeping together.

Nora: No, we're not.

Bo: I thought you were.

Blair: This letter -- Todd didn't write it.

Margaret: We're going to be here all alone for a long time.
