Antonio: Mami, listen, I'm at the hospital with Jessica. Viki's in surgery, and we'll probably be here all night, but I need to speak to you. It's important. Oh.
John: Careful -- our coffee at the station's better.
John: Cream, two sugars, as you like it.
Natalie: Thank you.
Jessica: How long was I sleeping?
Antonio: Not long enough.
Jessica: Oh. Thank you. Wow. That's awful.
Natalie: I just wish we knew something.
John: Your mom is strong.
Natalie: Her heart was dying.
John: And they're taking care of that. Doc says Ben and his heart -- it's good and it's healthy. She's got a shot. She's going to make it.
Natalie: So whereís Kathryn?
John: She took off about an hour ago.
Natalie: Oh. For good, I hope.
John: Bureau's got her working a big investigation. I think Cramerís just the tip of the iceberg.
Natalie: Do you really think that he's dead?
John: Until they find a body, it's anybody's guess.
Kevin: Kelly, where are you? I called home. They said you never showed up. What the hell are you mixed up in?
David: How deep did you bury this guy?
Todd: I don't remember. I wrapped him in a blanket, put some filth on top. This is ridiculous.
David: Well, we got to keep looking!
Kelly: No, he's gone! He's gone! Someone took the body! Someone found it and took it! And someone knows what we did -- that you killed him and that we hid him! What are we going to do?
Joey: Viki Davidson -- she's been in the operating room for hours. Is there any way we can find out how she's doing?
Asa: Sure, there is, Joey. Pick up the phone, call Larry Wolek.
Clint: Pa, you want to give the lady a chance to answer?
Joey: I'm sorry. It's just been a really long day.
Nurse: I'm sorry. I just came on duty. I don't have any information for you, but I will check.
Dorian: I do. They just took Viki into post-op. Everything seems to have gone smoothly.
Joey: I'll tell the others.
Dr. Gardner's voice: That heart's beating like it's been there forever.
Larry's voice: Good job, Viki. You're almost home.
David: Kelly, would you please keep your voice down?
Todd: You're kidding.
Kelly: We've dug up every inch of this dump! He's not here!
Todd: What's that, Kelly? You have to speak up.
David: Hey. You guys, maybe he's buried so deep we can't find him.
Kelly: We've been here for hours! We would have found him by now!
Todd: It's not so good.
David: Now, are you guys sure that when you lugged the body here he was actually dead?
Kelly: Yes! He was dead! He was dead!
Todd: Well, you killed him. What do you think?
David: I didn't stop to give him a physical, Todd. He seemed dead to me. What do you think?
Kelly: He was cold when I woke up. What do you think?
Todd: He didn't move when I kicked him. I think he was dead.
Kelly: He had to be dead! We stuffed him in the laundry cart, then we stuffed him in the trunk of the car, and then we threw him out here! He was dead!
David: Wait a second. What -- what does this remind me of? Oh, that's right -- the time that you buried me alive, Kelly.
Kelly: Oh, shut up, David!
Todd: Would you both shut up!
David: I'm just here trying to help you!
Kelly: You deserved it!
Todd: If the blow to the head didn't kill him, the stench from the filth did!
David: This garbage reeks.
Todd: Somebody took the body and moved it.
Kelly: Oh great! Great!
David: Wait a second. Maybe someone -- maybe someone followed you guys here, they stashed the body to blackmail you with, and now they're waiting to make their move.
Todd: Pardon me. Manning.
Jessica: Hey. Mom made it through surgery. So far, everything seems to be ok.
Todd: I told you she was tough.
Jessica: Where are you?
Todd: Oh -- take care of a few things, and I'll be there soon. So, Viki made it through the surgery all right.
Kelly: Oh, that's good.
David: Oh, that's great. I'm just really glad to hear that.
Kelly: I got to get home. I told Kevin I was with Ace! What are we going to do about Paul?
Todd: He killed him. Let him take care of it.
David: Hold on there, buddy boy. You stashed the body after he was dead. That makes you an accessory after the fact. So whether you guys like this or not, we're stuck in this together, and I do not trust you at all.
Travis: So my mom's totally paranoid. I mean, she thinks this whole running-away thing was her fault.
Starr: My mom thinks the same way, but I got new roller blades out of it.
Travis: Well, you sure know how to work it, don't you?
Starr: I guess. I'm not really mad at my parents anymore.
Travis: Yeah? Just lucky you. I mean, all I hear is "you need discipline and structure," blah, blah, blah, blah. I mean I can't take it anymore.
Starr: You ran away again?
Travis: No. Ok? I had this genius idea, ok? I'm going to enroll in the summer camp right by -- you know, right by Llanview, all right? I'm starting next week. I mean, my mom's totally happy about it, and this way I'll be close to you -- I mean, if that's ok.
Starr: It's very cool.
Blair: Starr, what -- what are you doing here?
Larry: Oh -- Asa, please. Just stay there. It's been a long night.
Jessica: How is she?
Dorian: She's in the recovery room. Larry was with her in the O.R. the whole time.
Larry: She has done about as well as we could have hoped.
Asa: Oh, come on, Larry. Plain English.
Larry: Well, we're running tests. She's going to be monitored to make sure that her body doesn't reject the heart.
Asa: With Benís heart, not a chance.
Kevin: Can we see her?
Larry: She'll be sleeping through the night, and I suggest you all go home and do the same.
Renee: Well, you heard the good doctor. We can go home and see our great-grandson.
Kevin: All right, I'll drive.
Clint: Mind if I bunk with the rest of you?
Renee: Oh, you've got to be kidding. It's your house, too. Come on, of course you'll stay with us.
Kevin: I'll meet you in the parking lot, all right?
Natalie: So, can I buy you dinner?
Jessica: Just wait here, ok? I'll be right back.
Carlotta: Tonio. I got your message.
Antonio: Oh, Mami, it could have waited till morning.
Carlotta: Well, you said it was important. What's wrong?
Antonio: I just found out that Manuel Santi's real name is Manuel Espinoza, the same as your maiden name. Please tell me it's just a coincidence. Please tell me we're not related to one of the most notorious crime families in the world.
Joey: Hey. Thank you for waiting.
Jen: How's your mom?
Joey: She's doing fine. We're just hoping she doesn't reject the heart.
Jen: I am, too. So, how's London?
Joey: It's good. I like the new church I work at. I see a lot of Flash.
Jen: How is she?
Joey: She's ok. Tears her up that she can't sing anymore.
Jen: Yeah --
Joey: She's found some new friends, though.
Jen: You know she sent Riley a letter. He can barely say her name, kind of like me.
Joey: What do you mean?
Jen: I miss you. Don't you -- don't you ever think about me?
Joey: Every single day.
Natalie: I just left my cell phone in here, so --
John: Ok. You want me to give you some time on your own?
Natalie: You know I know the doctors said things went smoothly. It's --
John: Yeah, I know.
Natalie: Let's get out of here.
Carlotta: Espinoza's a very common name, like Colon or --
Antonio: Mami, please. It's been a very long night. Every time I bring up Manuel or Adriana, you change the subject. But not this time, ok?
Carlotta: But --
Antonio: I really need the answer to my question, Mami. Are you related to Manuel Espinoza? Mami, please. I can find out the truth elsewhere. I'd rather hear it from you.
Carlotta: Manuel was my -- my brother. Now, please leave me alone.
Jen: I tried, really hard. I just couldn't pull it off.
Joey: Hey, it wasn't your fault. I mean, we got married for all the wrong reasons, and I guess we thought the problems would just disappear after the ceremony, but they didnít.
Jen: Yeah, they sure didnít.
Joey: So I heard about you and Riley. He's a good guy, very, very talented.
Jen: We're just good friends.
Joey: Well, that's one of the hardest things to find and one of the most important things to hang on to. I better get back to the family.
Jen: Yeah. I'm glad we got to talk.
Joey: Yeah. I'm glad we saw each other. It's good to know that you're doing ok.
Jen: Yeah. You, too.
Jessica: Hey. Everything ok?
Blair: Answer me, Travis. Why are you here? Did you run away?
Travis: No! Ok, my mom brought me. She's waiting.
Starr: Don't be mean to him, ok, mom? It wasn't his idea to run away, it was mine, and what happened with that creep Laser wasn't his fault!
Travis: Starr, it actually kind of was my fault, ok?
Starr: No, it wasn't!
Blair: You know what, Starr? I would actually like to hear Travis' point of view here, ok?
Travis: Ok, Ms. Manning --
Blair: It's Cramer.
Travis: Sorry -- Ms. Cramer. What I'm trying to say is that I don't blame you for being a little scared that I'm here to see Starr, but that's not the only reason I'm here, ok? My mom brought me to enroll in Camp Uplift right by the Llantano River.
Travis: Yeah. She's totally set on me learning about organization and self-goals and, you know, doing the right thing.
Blair: Uh-huh, and your mom is here?
Travis: Yeah, just for a couple of days while I get enrolled. Look, I think this camp thing is going to be really good for me, you know?
Blair: Yeah, it's really good for kids.
Travis: Look, we get to do all kind of stuff, you know, and we still have free time. I me, wood shop and sports -- I'm going to build a chair.
Travis: Yeah. And, you know, maybe on my free time, I'd like to come and see Starr. Look, I really care about your daughter, Ms. Cramer.
Blair: Well, you really helped us when she was in trouble.
Travis: Yeah, I wish I'd never let her out of my sight.
Starr: I was the one who messed up.
Blair: Look, you're safe now, and that's all that matters, and you have to understand why I am very protective of my little girl right now.
Travis: Yeah, I know. I would never let anybody hurt her, ok? I swear.
Blair: You know what? We'll talk about this some other time.
Starr: Like tomorrow, right, mom?
Blair: Like later, ok? I'm going to talk to your mom, though.
Travis: Ok, thank you, Ms. Cramer.
Starr: I'm really glad you came. I missed you.
Travis: Yeah, I missed you, too.
Starr: And about the thing you said in New York about you loving me --
Travis: Um -- forget it, ok? I just -- it slipped out.
Starr: Ok. Good. You know, you said a lot of the right things to my mom.
Travis: Yeah, I guess I got her pretty good, yeah. I mean I've had a lot of practice.
Starr: What are you looking at me like that for?
Blair: He seems like a nice enough guy, but don't think for a minute that I'm going to let the two of you hang out together without any kind of chaperone, ok?
Starr: I know.
Blair: Good. So you go on upstairs and I'll be up a minute to tuck you in, ok? I love you.
Kevin: Hey, you guys ready to go to Asaís?
Joey: Yeah. Are you coming?
Jessica: No, actually, I'm going to go home with Antonio for the night, but I'll be back first thing in the morning. Hey. You ok?
Kevin: Yeah, I'm fine. Kelly's phone's just been off all night.
Kelly: Just keep it quiet, quiet!
Kelly: Everyone must be asleep.
David: Yeah. Anybody want booze? Do not get your stink on the furniture.
David: I got to take a three-day shower.
Kelly: Shut up, David! Try helping!
Todd: We need a plan.
David: Well, what are we going to do?
Kelly: I got to get home before Kevin does!
David: What -- whoever took Paulís body has the upper hand, Kelly -- and arm and --
Kelly: Oh, God.
Todd: If it was the cops, we'd know it by now.
David: Well, whoever did it, we just got to wait until he or she makes a move.
Todd: I'm not going to wait around and get ambushed.
Kelly: Yeah -- no. I would go crazy waiting around to be blackmailed.
David: Well, what the hell are we going to do about it?
Todd: We'll think of something. You need to go home.
Kelly: What about you?
Todd: I'm going to stay here, keep an eye on him.
David: Oh, yeah. Blair won't find that at all suspicious, and Dorian probably won't come after you with a shotgun.
Kelly: All right, all right!
Todd: I'm warning you, Vickers. Don't screw with me.
Kelly: I'm leaving.
David: You know what?
Kelly: I'm out of here.
David: We're just going to have to trust each other, Todd.
Todd: You need to be very careful. Obviously, Kevin can't find out about this.
Kelly: I just -- he's already so suspicious. I don't know if I can get him to believe me.
Todd: Stay calm, all right? Go home, take your shower. Ok, you'll be fine.
Kelly: I don't know what I would do without you.
Jessica: Hey. Good morning.
Natalie: Hey, mom.
Jessica: Oh, no, no, no, no. Don't -- don't try to talk. It's ok.
Natalie: Oh, my God, we're so happy that you're awake. You look beautiful.
Viki: Huh. I -- I feel Benís heart. It's beating.
Jessica: And it's going to go on beating for a very, very long time.
Natalie: He gave you the gift of life, mom. It's a miracle. It's the best gift that anyone could give you.
Kevin: You got up and left early this morning.
Kelly: Ace had a doctor's appointment. I didn't want to wake you. You were sleeping so soundly.
Kevin: Hmm. Well, you must be tired. You couldn't have come home much earlier than I did.
Kelly: What are you talking about?
Kevin: I called the mansion all night. The nanny said she had no idea where you were.
Kelly: Blair called me in my car and I -- I had to go over there. I went over right away.
Kevin: Your phone was off, Kelly.
Kelly: With all the confusion with Viki, I -- I didn't charge it. I'm sorry.
Kevin: All right, you know what? I've had enough lies. Really. I can't take it anymore.
Dorian: Where are you going in such a rush?
David: God. Don't do that! You know better than to scare me before I've had coffee.
Dorian: Mm-hmm. Why did you leave the hospital last night without saying goodbye?
David: I'm sorry. Come here. Does that make up for it?
Dorian: No. I've got to get to the hospital.
Dorian: Viki's regained consciousness.
David: Well, that's great news. I certainly hope she appreciates everything you've done for her.
Dorian: You still haven't answered my question. What were you doing last night?
David: That is a surprise -- for you. Can't tell you about it -- yet.
Dorian: Hmm. Must be a very messy surprise. You used up every towel in the bathroom and a whole bottle of shampoo.
David: I wanted to be squeaky clean in case you needed help getting back to sleep, in case I woke you.
Dorian: We're not finished.
David: Well, I certainly hope not.
Blair: Well, it must be a very big surprise to keep you and Kelly and Todd out till the wee hours of the morn.
David: Very big, very surprising, very secret.
Blair: Oh, come on, David. What the hell is going on with Todd and Kelly, and what do you have to do with it?
John: I checked with some of the police stations between Atlantic City and Llanview on the night Paul Cramer disappeared.
Antonio: Anything interesting?
John: Could be. Someone saw a dark blue luxury Sedan parked at a landfill outside Cherry Hill in a rainstorm, thought they saw something getting dumped. They only got the first two digits of the license plate, so I ran it with the D.M.V., and when I ran it for Philly, I got the phone book, but when I narrowed it down to Llanview, I got 16 hits, including one with a Sedan that belonged to Kelly Buchanan.
Antonio: What the hell would Kelly be doing at a landfill in the middle of the night in the rain?
John: I think that's what we should find out. That's the landfill they're talking about here. It's about five miles outside Cherry Hill.
Kathryn: Right. Well, I'm headed there now, if you two want to come along.
Antonio: Listen, you guys ahead, all right? I'll catch up.
John: You sure?
Antonio: Yeah. Thanks. Yeah.
Kathryn: Thank you.
Antonio: It's good to see you.
Carlotta: Did you get much sleep?
Antonio: Not much. You? Mami, did you think finding out that you were related to Manuel Santi would change how I feel about you?
Carlotta: Tonio, you --
Antonio: Mami, I understand why.
Carlotta: He ruined so many lives. He killed dozens of people -- gangsters, children, women -- he was the devil.
Antonio: He was your brother. You went to his funeral. You loved him, or a part of him, anyway.
Carlotta: But I let myself remember. We were so close growing up. I was the one who convinced him to change his name after he got involved with the crimes, with the gangs, and selling guns. It was killing our mother and our father. I just tried to protect them from the shame and the danger. Even though Manny is dead, if certain people found out, it would --
Antonio: That's why you're so protective of Adriana.
Carlotta: She's the best part of Manny. He wasn't always so horrible. I just -- I don't want Adriana to find out all the horrific things that her father did.
Antonio: Mami, the F.B.I. is not going to let it go. They believe he had over $100 million stashed somewhere, and they want to find it before one of the under bosses does.
Carlotta: Look, I have nothing to do with that.
Antonio: I know that. What about his son?
Carlotta: I haven't seen him since he was a little boy. He was raised in Europe, and as far as I know, he never got involved in his father's business. Por favor, Antonio, if Manny's enemies find out where we are, Adriana could be killed, just like his first wife and that little boy.
Antonio: Mami, I will protect you both. I promise. But I can't put a halt to the investigation.
Carlotta: Ay, dios mio --
Antonio: Mami, look, yo no voy a dejar que nada Te pase. Ok?
Antonio: Pero if Mannyís son tries to get in touch with you, you have to let me know right away. No more secrets, ok?
Dr. Gardner: Hey, there. If I can ask you ladies just to step outside, please.
Natalie: She just woke up.
Larry: She's very fragile. She really needs her rest right now.
Natalie: Ok. See you later, mom.
Joey: Hey, how is she?
Jessica: She's awake.
Natalie: She talked to us.
Joey: Thank God.
Kevin: I got to tell you, I don't know what to think anymore. You claim that Paul is blackmailing you, but you won't tell me why. Hell, you disappear, you tell me you're in one place, and then it turns out you're in Atlantic City, the same night that Paul disappeared. Then they find his blood in your motel room.
Kelly: I -- I know it looks bad, but I --
Kevin: It looks worse than bad! I lied to the police for you! I mean -- did you and Todd kill Paul?
Kelly: No -- how could you accuse me of that?
Kevin: Well, what am I supposed to think, huh? It's one lie after another with you. And it's not just to me. You're lying to the police, Kelly.
Kelly: Kevin --
Kevin: Listen to me. Whatever you've done, you are just digging yourself in deeper. Now, please, just -- I love you, ok? Just -- you have to trust me. All right? So that I can help you, so that I can protect you, so that I can do what I have to do for you! But for god's sake, you have to tell me what's going on!
Todd: You want to know what's going on? I'll tell you.
Blair: David, I heard the three of you guys coming in last night, and I heard Kelly and Todd whispering about something that Kevin couldn't find out.
David: I didn't hear that.
Blair: Come on! Tell me the truth! Now, are you covering up something? Are they having an affair? What?
David: My God, no! Why would they do that?
Blair: Ok, well, what was going on with the three of you last night, and -- why were you just now lying to Dorian about that surprise?
David: Who says that was a lie?
Blair: Because. Todd, Dorian -- they hate each other. They would never go along with anything like that. I know Todd wouldnít.
David: Fine. You want to know the truth?
Blair: Yes, I want to know! What?
David: I'll tell you.
David: Todd and Kelly are trying to make you jealous.
David: Because of Kevin.
Blair: To pay us back?
David: To get you back. Look, Todd thinks that he can make you realize that you're still in love with him and you'll come crawling back on your hands and knees -- or whatever you crawl back to him on.
Blair: No, no, no, no. Kelly would never go along with that.
David: What, are you kidding me? Kelly wants you back with him just as much as he does. She's not convinced that the curtain's down on the Kevin and Blair show.
Blair: Oh, come on, that's ridiculous.
David: Just telling you what they think.
Blair: Ok. What's your part in all of this, David?
David: Nothing. I just ran into them last night at the marina -- where I was planning Dorianís surprise.
Blair: Oh. So there really is a surprise?
David: Midnight cruise. You're invited.
Blair: Kelly and Todd are trying to make me jealous, huh?
David: From the looks of it, it's working. Oh. Oh, poor Blair. No matter how hard you try, you can't stop loving Todd Manning, can you?
Todd: Kelly's telling you the truth. Paul was blackmailing her. She had to steal money from B.E. to pay him off.
Kevin: What did he have on you?
Kelly: Uh --
Todd: She's too ashamed to tell you. It's --
Kevin: Tell me what? Tell me what?
Kelly: I --
Todd: While you and Blair were out screwing around, cheating on us behind our backs, Kelly lost it, as you can imagine -- as I did. And one night, we got together, got a little drunk, and one thing led to another, and we ended up making love.
Officer: Agent Fitzgerald.
Officer: Somebody else got through here pretty recently. Every inch of it's been turned over.
Kathryn: All right, thank you. What made you notice a car here in the middle of the night?
Man: I'm paid to notice. I'm the night watchman at the glass factory across the street.
Kathryn: All right, ok. Listen, wait over here with this officer. We're going to want to take a formal statement, ok?
Kathryn: Thank you.
Officer: Got something.
Kathryn: Hmhmm. The Ambassador Motel.
John: Hmm, where Kelly Buchanan was staying and where Cramer was last seen.
Kathryn: Get this to your lab, will you? Have them compare the bloodstains on this with the traces found in the motel.
Kathryn: Thanks, officer.
Jessica: I have graduation practice, but I --
Clint: No, honey. Go. Go ahead. It'll do you good to get out of here for a while.
Natalie: Yeah, you should be there. You are one of the speakers.
Joey: That's fantastic.
Jessica: Yeah. I haven't even thought about it yet, really. Can you call me if there's any news?
Natalie: Absolutely. Please go now. I promise.
Clint: Well, how's my girl?
Natalie: Hmm. I've been better.
Dorian: Joe, I was very glad to hear that your mother's awake.
Joey: Yeah, she's still a little in and out.
Dorian: That is to be expected, but her doctors are very optimistic.
Joey: Thank you for taking such good care of her. I notice you two seem a little closer.
Dorian: Well, your mother and I have shared some pretty bumpy roller-coaster rides together, but despite the bad blood and the misunderstandings, we now realize there's a connection between us that's stronger than if we were family.
Joey: I'm glad you figured that out.
Dorian: Hmm. Clint, Natalie, we're going to go check on Viki.
Natalie: Ok. Oh, I'll meet up with you guys.
Natalie: Hello. Hello?
Natalie: Who is this?
Paul: It's Paul. I need to see you.
Todd: Paul found out Kelly and I had sex. He was desperate for money, so he threatened to tell you. Kelly had to pay him off.
Kevin: I don't buy it. There's no way. You don't even like him.
Todd: Women have to make hard choices sometimes.
Kelly: Do you --
Kevin: Kelly? What?
Kelly: Do you know how -- how devastated I was when you slept with Blair? It was -- it was a nightmare, and -- and I just -- I just -- just -- it meant nothing! It meant nothing!
Todd: She felt terrible afterwards.
Kevin: Just shut up! What are you two telling me? You telling me that you slept with Todd? Then what? You killed Kellyís brother, huh?
Todd: Oh, no, I didn't kill him.
Kevin: Oh, no.
Todd: I went to Atlantic City to confront him, and we got into a fight, and I decked him. He bled on the carpet. That's how it got stained. But what I ended up doing was paying him a huge sum of money to get out of town, and I assume that's what he did.
Kevin: Why didn't you go to the police?
Kelly: I didn't want you to find out that -- what I did.
Todd: I mean the police are looking for any excuse they can to put me behind bars, so they won't believe me.
Kevin: There's no way. You wouldn't do this to me. Not again, not with him. It just -- it doesn't fit. There's got to be something else. And I'm going to find out what it is. You're lucky we're in a hospital.
Kelly: Kevin -- Kevin, I -- What was that? What was that?
Blair: Todd, it's me, Blair. I need to see you right away.
Natalie: Whoever this is, that is not funny.
Paul: Natalie, it's Paul.
Natalie: Prove it.
Paul: You remember when we went to karaoke? Hmm? We sang that cheesy song "Wind Beneath My Wings"?
Natalie: Paul, everybody thinks that you're dead, and the police think that I killed you.
Paul: Natalie, I can't explain over the phone. So you need to write down this address.
Paul: 9212 Route 27 North. It's called The Hookup. You meet me there in an hour.
[Monitor beeps faster]
Joey: Oh, my God.
Dorian: The team should be in here, but -- I'm going to go to check. We need a doctor in here, stat!
Stay tuned for scenes from the next "One Life To Live."
On the next "One Life To Live" --
Natalie: Paul! Oh, my God, you're alive!
Kevin: They just told me they had slept together!
Kelly: We're having an affair? That's the excuse you come up with?
Todd: It's the best I can come up with.
Clint: Her body is rejecting Benís heart. She's in trouble, Kevin, big trouble.
