Al: Mar-- Marcie? Marcie, wait. Marcie, why'd you run off like that?

Marcie: I'm sorry, I couldn't stay.

Al: Why not?

Marcie: I don't know. You know, I think that I'm -- I think I'm coming down with something. You know, was it warm in there? I think I might have the flu.

Al: Marcie, look at me. Look at me the way you looked at me at Capricorn. What do you see?

Marcie: I -- I don't know. I don't see anything.

Al: Yes, you do.

Marcie: No, I donít. No, I don't, ok? I don't see anything. I know that I'm supposed to see something, but I mean, why can't you just tell me.

Al: Ok. I mean, you got to know anyway, so, fine. Here's the deal.

Jen: You can leave any time.

Rex: I'm not going anywhere.

Jen: You promised you would if I wanted you to, and I want you to.

Rex: Too bad. No way I'm leaving you like this.

Nora: Hi. Come on in.

Blair: Hey. Um -- look, I'm really sorry that I stopped by so late. It --

Nora: No, that's fine. As you can see, I didn't really have a lot of things planned. What can I help you with?

Blair: I can't do it, Nora. I can't testify against Todd.

Viki: Oh, my god.

Ben. Ben. Oh, my God, I don't believe it. Oh, sweetheart, you don't know how I've prayed for this. Oh, my God, darling.

Ben: Viki --

Viki: No, no, no. Shh. Don't -- no, don't -- don't talk, please. Don't -- don't push yourself. I've called -- I'm going to call for help. Oh, my God. Just be quiet, all right? Just stay calm. I'm not going anywhere. Oh, Ben. Oh, darling, I love you so much. I'm not going anywhere.

Megan: Did you need something?

Viki: The nurse is going to check on you, darling, ok, but I'm going to be right here. Ok?

Megan: Lay still, Dr. Davidson. When did this happen?

Viki: Just now. I -- I turned around and his -- his eyes were open.

Megan: Try and stay quiet, Dr. Davidson, until I can get Dr. Kingsley in here. I'll be right back.

Asa: Oh, nurse, what's going on?

Megan: I need to get the doctor. Excuse me.

Renee: Why? Has something happened to our son?

Megan: Dr. Davidson opened his eyes.

Asa: Ben -- Ben is -- Ben is out of his coma?

Renee: Oh, my god. I want to see him.

Megan: Not now. Please, just wait a few minutes. Mrs. Davidson is with him now, but he really shouldn't have any other visitors until the doctor sees him.

Asa: What the hell are you waiting for? Go get him.

Renee: The nurse has the most wonderful smile.

Asa: Yeah.

Renee: Asa? Did I hear her right? Our Ben?

Asa: Yep. Our boy is back.

Ben: I --

Viki: Shh.

Ben: Love you.

Viki: No, no -- please. Wait for the doctor, please. Ben, just wait for the doctor to come back. Oh, my God. We have all the time in the world now. We've got so much time.

Ben: Listen -- listen to me --

Viki: Shh.

Ben: Please.

Viki: Shh.

Nora: I know -- I know that it's going to be tough tomorrow in court.

Blair: I can't do it, Nora.

Nora: You just can't do it, huh?

Blair: I am sorry. I canít.

Nora: Well, so am I. I talked to you about this when you first came to me with this, didn't I? I told you everything that this was going to entail. I told you not to start this if you couldn't handle it.

Blair: Well, I thought that I could, all right?

Nora: You can handle it! Todd has done his worst to you and you survived it. You'll survive this, too. You're tougher than you think.

Blair: Do you really need me to testify? I mean, don't you have a case? I mean, can't --

Nora: No, I don't have a case. I don't have a case. I've got Dorian saying you were raped; I have a doctor saying maybe you were raped. I need you to put Todd behind bars. Do you understand?

Blair: And that's why my daughter hates me, Nora!

Nora: Is that what this is about? Is that's what's driving this? Starr?

Blair: And Jack, Mama, and everybody.

Nora: Or is it because Todd didn't rape you?

Blair: What?

Nora: Did he?

Blair: Yes.

Nora: Are you sure?

Blair: What, you're doubting me now?

Nora: No, but apparently you're doubting yourself.

Blair: No, I'm not doubting myself! I wouldn't put everybody through hell if I weren't sure.

Nora: Ok, then what the hell is going on, Blair? What is -- what's going on? What is this about? You want Todd to walk free?

Blair: Oh, God --

Nora: Is that what you want? You want him to walk free? Because you know what he'll do -- he'll call his lawyer and he'll prove you an unfit mother and get custody of your kids, sole custody of your kids. Is that what you want? No testimony, no conviction, and  then he's free to go out there and do whatever he wants to do to you.

Blair: Nora, can't you win this without me?

Nora: No, I really canít. I might as well withdraw the charges, and I will. I will if you canít. If you can't do this --

Blair: Ah -- no, I can. I can.

Nora: Are you sure?

Blair: Well, I don't have a choice, now, do I? Oh --

Nora: Hey. What's the matter? Are you all right?

Blair: Just let me sit down just a minute. It's just my head. It's a headache.

Nora: Did you go see a doctor?

Blair: I went to see a doctor. You told me too and I went. Anyway -- and tests and it's stress. It's stress. The doctor told me to go, but I -- I -- whew.

Nora: There's going to be a lot more stress tomorrow. You know that, right?

Blair: Whew.

Nora: Right?

Blair: I'll be there, Nora, and I won't let you down. I'm sorry I came over here to wimp out on you.

Nora: Blair, Blair, Blair, Blair, Blair, Blair. I'm sorry. You know -- I want this conviction so bad, I could taste it. But you can't do this for me. You have to do this for yourself.

Al: You want to know what's going on? Here's the deal.

Luna: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa -- wait just a second. You know the rules. Darling, you give her information she's not supposed to have and your soul is as good as -- Michael goes back to being Michael, and Marcie is left alone. And you know that little girl? She never gets to come down to this earth to live her life. Darling, you don't have to tell her. Just -- just trust her. Trust in her love.

Marcie: Hello? Are you going to tell me what's going on?

Al: "Better by far that you should forget and be happy than that you should remember and be sad."

Marcie: That's --

Al: Christina Rossetti. She's one of my favorites.

Marcie: Yeah, Al and I studied her together. I remember thinking how moving it was, you know, about losing someone that you love.

Al: But not wanting them to stay sad, even if it meant that they had to forget you.

Marcie: That's what Al said. How would you know that?

Al: Me and Al are a lot alike.

Marcie: Is -- is that all it is? I mean, is there something that you want to -- is there something that you want to tell me?

Al: You tell me. You know, they say that the eyes are a window to the soul. Look in my eyes. Look deep and hard. What do you see?

Jen: Get out. Get out!

Rex: Ah! No -- no, not when it's my fault!

Jen: Of course it's your fault. You won't leave me alone.

Rex: I'm sorry, ok? I really am. I thought that picture of you and your dad would make you happy.

Jen: Why are you doing this?

Rex: You know why.

Jen: Because you love me?

Rex: I've only said it, like, a million times.

Jen: And that's why you married me?

Rex: No. At first it was for the money.

Jen: I knew it.

Rex: But I divorced you because I love you.

Jen: Bull. Kevin bought you out of the marriage by giving you Ultra Violet.

Rex: Ok, yes, that, too, but love makes you do weird things, ok?

Jen: Would you quit saying that? Quit saying that you love me.

Rex: Ok, but it's not going to stop me from feeling that way.

Jen: You are so full of it.

Rex: It's true.

Jen: Then why are you sleeping with somebody else? Maybe even my mother?

Rex: Jen, I told you, it's not her.

Jen: How am I supposed to believe you?

Rex: I'll prove it to you.

Al: Marcie, what do you see?

Marcie: I don't know what I see. I just know what I feel.

Al: What do you feel?

Marcie: Al -- I feel him all around me.

Al: Yeah. Yeah, because he's here. He is right here, right now.

Marcie: What do you mean? What do you mean?

Al: Kiss me.

Marcie: What?

Al: I want you to kiss me.

Marcie: No, I -- I don't know. I don't --

Al: Just do it.

Marcie: Ok.

Al: Trust me.

Marcie: Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Is it -- is it really you?

Al: Yeah.

Marcie: Oh, my -- Al, you're back. Oh, Al.

[Marcie laughs]

[Doorbell rings]

Nora: Hey.

Matthew: I got it.

Nora: What's got-- what are you doing? You're not supposed to be out of bed, young man! What --

Matthew: Bo, you're here.

Bo: Yeah, I'm here.

Matthew: Great.

Bo: I got here as fast as I could. Is everything ok here?

Nora: Well, why wouldn't it be?

Bo: Well, because Matthew told me that there was an emergency.

Matthew: It is. I forgot to give you guys your Valentine's presents.

Bo: Oh, you --

Nora: Matthew. That's not an emergency. You can't call people up in the middle of the night and have them come running over here for things like that. That's terrible.

Matthew: I just finished making them. I'll go get them.

Nora: You -- I'm sorry. I really am. He was in bed. I know he was in bed.

Bo: It's not a problem, really.

Nora: Oh, here. I'm sorry -- here, have a seat.

Bo: Thanks.

Nora: All this stuff. So, hey, did Asa and Renee tie the knot?

Bo: Oh, yeah, yeah. When I left them, they were both arguing about who meant the most to each other.

Nora: Aw, that's great.

Bo: How's your case?

Nora: Oh, it's -- it's coming along, you know. I'm just -- I'm just glad we heard from Rae.

Bo: Yeah, me, too. I wish -- I can't wait till she gets back.

Nora: I can't wait till this trial's over.

Bo: Well, come on. You're the best attorney in town, you know? What, are you worried?

Nora: Blair's beginning to bail. Without her testimony, I can't pull a conviction out of thin air. You know? And I don't know -- I don't know what it'll do to her if Todd goes free.

R.J.: Celebrating already?

Blair: What?

R.J.: Taking care of Manning.

Blair: You know what, R.J.? I really do not feel like discussing Todd with you right now, ok?

R.J.: Because, you know, if anyone deserves 23-hour-a-day lockdown, it's good old Todd.

Blair: How can you say that? Especially you because you know exactly what it's like. You know how he's going to suffer.

R.J.: Him -- suffering.

Blair: Yeah.

R.J.: Yeah. That's exactly what he deserves. Oh, no, I do not believe this.

Blair: What?

R.J.: You still love that thing.

Marcie: Pinch me.

Al: Ok.

Marcie: It's not a dream. I mean, you're real. You're really real, aren't you?

Al: How'd that feel?

Marcie: Unbelievable. I mean, how?

Al: Can I tell her already? You know, because she figured it out all on her own and, I mean, I'm kind of running out of time here. It's not like I'm going to get another chance.

Luna: Well, just go for it, Sugar.

Marcie: Um -- who --

Al: Oh --

Marcie: Who are you talking to?

Al: Yeah, that. Uh, Luna. I' talked to you about Luna before, haven't I?

Marcie: Yeah, your dad's wife. I mean, but she's dead, isn't she?

Al: Yep, she's dead. But she's here like I always will be.

Marcie: I -- I'm really not getting this. I mean, I know that you look like Michael McBain and I know that you're not --

Al: I'm sort of subletting the space. You see, when I died, I had no body. Michael McBain did.

Marcie: Yeah, well, he was --

Al: Sort of empty, kind of soulless. Well, see, it was perfect. You know, he needed a soul, I needed a body. So the day that he almost died, they took my soul and they slipped it into his body. Luna's been in charge of the whole operation. She's an angel. I mean, she's really an angel, you know, like with wings and everything.

Marcie: Wow, she's an angel? And you -- you've been here ever since.

Al: Well, except for a couple of times when I got pulled off the job and --

Marcie: That would explain why you were a jerk sometimes, like when you made out with Jen.

Al: Michael made out with Jen, not me. And I did everything I could to make it up to you once I got back in that body.

Marcie: Why couldn't you tell me all of this sooner?

Al: I couldn't tell anyone -- not John, Michaelís brother. Not you, not anybody.

Marcie: Yeah, but -- but why?

Al: Because those were the rules. You had to see me inside of Michaelís body by yourself, by faith, by love, and by tonight, Valentine's Day, or my soul was repossessed for good and you would've been all alone.

Marcie: We almost didn't make it?

Al: But we did, so don't worry about it.

Marcie: Yeah, but why couldn't I have seen you sooner? I should've been able to see you.

Al: It was probably pretty hard to see me with Michael running around screwing things up, acting like a jerk all over the place.

Marcie: Thanks for not giving up on me.

Al: Thanks for not giving up on me.

Marcie: Look at you. I -- I don't know if I can believe this

Al: Believe it, baby.

Marcie: I do. I really do. I have you back and I'm never going to give you up.

Luna: Darling, it's -- it's time.

Ben: Viki, I --

Jordan: Dr. Davidson --

Ben: I have to talk to Viki.

Jordan: Dr. Davidson, please try to relax. I need to check you now.

Viki: He keeps trying to tell me something.

Jordan: Excuse me.

Megan: It's all right.

Viki: Are -- are you sure?

Megan: Yes, I'm sure. Trust me, it's all right.

Viki: Do you know I do trust you? And I don't even know why. You -- you remind -- well Ė

Renee: You know, Asa, it's so strange. When we were getting married again tonight, I felt Ben there with us.

Asa: Renee, he's the best thing that we ever did together.

Renee: And we have him back. We have our son back.

Viki: I still can't believe this. I mean, I've hoped and prayed for this, but I was told it would never happen.

Megan: You love him so much.

Viki: Oh, yes, I do. You know, Ben taught me how to live again. I'm sorry, I shouldn't even be telling you this.

Megan: No, I like hearing it. It's ok.

Viki: I almost feel a bit silly here. I got all dressed up as if I were going on a date tonight.

Megan: Well, I think it's romantic.

Viki: Well, we -- we didn't have very many Valentine's Days together, so I -- I was hoping that this one would be special. Do you know what I mean?

Megan: I know exactly what you mean.

Viki: I mean, it's -- it's amazing. I wished him a happy Valentine's Day and he opened his eyes. It's almost as if he'd heard me.

Megan: Well, maybe he did. Love does amazing things. Miracles.

Viki: Well, this truly is one, you know. It's almost too good to be true.

Megan: Always remember the small moments -- the kiss on the cheek at the stove, the flower from your garden. Those moments -- they're the ones that make up a life together. They stay with you.

Viki: You remind me so much of my daughter, Megan. But I lost her in a room just like this one.

Megan: You didn't lose her. She's still with you, in your memories and in your heart.

Viki: I hope she knew how much I loved her.

Megan: I'm sure she did, just like Ben does.

Jordan: Mrs. Davidson?

Viki: Yes, doctor? What's happening with my husband?

Jordan: We talked about this, remember? There was a chance that he would regain consciousness, maybe even be lucid, but you have to prepare yourself for the fact that it may only be temporary.

Viki: You mean he's going back into a coma?

Jordan: Let's just take it one step at a time.

R.J.: On me.

Blair: Don't want it.

R.J.: But you need it, just like you need to forget that sorry -- you married him! Twice!

Blair: R.J., I had it annulled. And just in case you were wondering, I'm not still in love with him, ok?

R.J.: Glad to hear it but I don't believe it.

Blair: Why do you even care?

R.J.: You are not the only one he's hurt. Yours is not the only life that he's poisoned. But you are the only one that can make him pay.

Blair: Oh, well, you are vindictive.

R.J.: What if I am? Just don't forget what he's done. He told you your child was dead, and then he tried to sell him off because if he can't have him, well, you certainly canít. And then he -- he finds someone else to turn himself into. He tried to fool you again. And when you forgot who he is -- really is, what he really is -- then he rapes you!

Blair: I don't need to be reminded of that, thank you very much.

R.J.: I think you do. Have you forgotten what happens to women when he's done with them, hmm? Maybe he'll leave you on an island like Tea. Oh, no, wait. That's it. Is that what turns you on, huh? Seeing how far Todd will go to get you back?

Blair: You're a jerk.

R.J.: Look, you have got his life in your hands --

Blair: Let go of me!

R.J.: On the stand tomorrow. If you let him go, he will walk all over you.

Blair: That's not going to happen.

R.J.: It's already happening. He's turned your daughter against you. Hasn't he? Hmm? Well, go ahead. Give him some time. He'll take both your children. And what does he do? Begged you, he pleads, convinced you that he loves you. Then what? He turns it on you, doesn't he? Hurts you with it. So you better be careful because tomorrow will not be easy. Evangeline is good.

Blair: She's not that good. Nora's better.

R.J.: But Nora cannot get a conviction without you.

Nora: I really thought we had a conviction when -- when Todd went ballistic on the stand, you know? But then with Blair, her testimony being shaken --

Bo: Yeah, but you're doing the best you can.

Nora: Yeah, but is it good enough?

Bo: Yeah, I know. It's a big one for you.

Nora: Bo, I really want him to go away this time. I really want him to.

Bo: Todd's going down.

Nora: Thank you. I'm glad Matthew called you over.

Bo: Yeah, me, too.

Matthew: Sorry I took so long. Forgot to wrap them.

Bo: Oh.

Nora: Oh, let me see what we got here. "Mom's Seventies Grooves."

Bo: And "Dad's Dance Moves."

Matthew: I burned a bunch of C.D.s from different songs.

Bo: Oh.

Nora: That's great. Put them on.

Bo: Here. Yeah. Let's see what you got.

Nora: "Mom's Seventies Grooves."

[Music plays]

Matthew: Come on, let's dance.

Nora: What?

Matthew: You, too.

Nora: What are we doing?

Bo: Do you know what time it is?

Nora: Oh, Honey --

Singer: Girl, don't you know that I want you so won't you stay? Ooh, yeah I got a lifetime of love to put on you don't walk away ooh

Bo: Oh, the godfather of rock 'n' roll.

Singer: See, I've been saving all of my money to get this ring ooh, yeah

Al: You got to give me more time.

Luna: Honey, I canít. We've stretched the rules way too much as it is, and I just can't do it.

Al: Luna, this is the last thing that I will ever ask of you, I swear. But you can't give Marcie happiness and then take it away from her without even telling her why.

Luna: Honey, listen, it's not like either of you are going to remember this whole thing anyway.

Al: Neither of us?

Luna: No!

Al: No. You know what? I don't believe that. We're going to remember. Somewhere down inside, we are going to remember. Otherwise, what's the point?

Luna: All right. But you make it quick.

Marcie: You talking to Luna again? Where is she? Why can't I see her?

Al: Yeah, she's -- she's right there. But, you know, I don't really have a lot of time.

Marcie: Yes, we do, Al. We have all the time in the world.

Al: Not exactly.

Marcie: Why? I thought you said that you were back.

Al: Well, yes, but -- well, you see, this is one of those good news/bad news sort of situations.

Marcie: No -- you're here, we're together. What could be bad?

Al: But in a few minutes, I'm going to be Michael McBain.

Marcie: Yes, I understand that, with you inside of his body.

Al: No, no, no, no, no. You see, I won't be me. Yes, it'll be my spirit and my soul and my love for you. That will never change. But Al's memories are going to be gone.

Marcie: No!

Al: I'll only have Michaelís.

Marcie: No, that -- you cannot forget!

Al: Look, I know that it's a lot to ask. It took me a while to get used to it. But here I am, asking you to do it in just a couple of minutes. But you'll like Michael.

Marcie: Ugh --

Al: You were already starting to like him before you even knew that I was inside of him.

Marcie: I don't know. I just -- this is still -- I really don't know what to think about this.

Al: Don't think. Feel. Do you feel that inside me?

Marcie: Yeah.

Al: That's al. Now, I might become Michael, but it will always be Al's spirit. It's not going to change.

Jordan: I'm afraid he's tiring.

Asa: Doctor, heís going to wake up again, right?

Jordan: We don't know.

Renee: But we thought when he came out of the coma that --

Viki: It's really as if he just wanted to tell us all that he loved us. I'll be right outside.

Jordan: Mrs. Davidson, do you need anything?

Viki: No, thank you.

Jordan: I'll be back in a few minutes.

Megan: I wish there was something I could do.

Viki: Oh Ė

Renee: Hey, kiddo, it's -- it's me. It's your Mama.

Asa: And your Pa, son.

Asa: You see, Renee? I told you. Atta boy, Ben.

Renee: It's a miracle. Your father and I got married today.

Asa: Yeah, she finally roped me in again.

Renee: Hey, me? He's been chasing after me. I'm so happy that he did.

Ben: Me -- me, too.

Asa: We love you very much, Ben. I hope you know that.

Ben: I -- I love you.

Megan: Mr. And Mrs. Buchanan, I need to check Dr. Davidson.

Asa: You get some rest, son. We'll be back.

Ben: Take care.

Renee: You take care.

Ben: Take care --

Megan: They heard you.

Ben: No. Viki -- take care of her for me. I want her happy. Find someone else.

Megan: I understand.

Rex: Why not let it happen, Jen? If I've got you, I don't need anybody else. But I can't wait forever.

[Phone rings]

Jen: Hello? Hey, mom. Yeah, yeah, it was me that called. Sorry I didn't leave a message. You know what? It's not important. Yeah, I just -- I called just to say I love you. Good night.

Rex: Why didn't you ask your mom about her and me?

Jen: Doesn't matter.

Rex: So you still think I'm lying?

Jen: Well, I may be the world's biggest idiot, but I'm going to believe you.

Marcie: Maybe you're not going to remember, but I know that I will.

Al: That's the other part.

Marcie: Don't tell me there are more rules!

Al: You're not going to remember any of this.

Marcie: What?

Al: I'm sorry.

Marcie: No, no, no, no, forget about this. I am not going to agree to that. They cannot tell me what I can and can't remember! I'm -- well, I'm talking like there are angels right here!

Al: You don't have a choice, Marcie.

Marcie: Yeah, well, you go talk to Luna. You get her to change it.

Al: Yeah, like I haven't thought of that! There's only so much that one angel can do. Besides, Marcie, it's -- it's a lot better this way.

Marcie: Oh -- oh, how can you say that?

Al: Because if you keep hanging onto Al, this can never happen.

Marcie: I don't want to move on if I can't hold onto you.

Al: Well, great, then this was all for nothing -- a big waste of time. Marcie, I want you to be happy. You got a shot at that with Michael.

Marcie: No. I don't want or need anyone else to make me happy but you!

Al: He needs you, maybe even more than I did.

Marcie: Yeah, well, I don't care if Michael needs me.

Al: Marcie -- sweetie, if you won't do it for him and you won't do it for you, do it for me. My soul is going to be stuck inside of his body forever. I don't want to be stuck there without you.

Marcie: Michael?

Michael: Yeah. Wow. Valentine's Day -- definitely my favorite holiday.

Asa: Why the hell when he wakes up, he just can't stay awake?

Viki: Well, I guess we have to take what we can get. I'm going to go back inside, all right?

Asa: Call us, hear?

Viki: I will. He loves you both very, very much.

Megan: Your husband tried telling his mother something.

Viki: What?

Megan: He wants you to promise that you'll move on, that you'll find happiness with someone else.

Viki: Well, why would he say that? Does he know?

Megan: No. It was just on his mind. Even sleeping, he loves you dearly.

Viki: I know he does.

Ben: Viki --

Megan: I'll give you two some time.

Viki: Thank you. I'm here, darling. I'm here.

Rex: You don't need this.

Jen: You're right. I'm kind of tired anyway. I'm going to go to bed.

Rex: Good idea. I'll -- I'll call you in the morning.

Jen: You're leaving?

Rex: You seem to be doing better now.

Jen: But, I mean, you're -- you're not going to try to get me into bed?

Rex: Disappointed?

Jen: Surprised.

Rex: Uh -- me, too, but tonight wasn't about sex, if you can believe it.

Jen: I told you, I believe you.

Rex: Sleep on it. And see if you still do in the morning.

[Luna gasps]

Luna: Megan, Darling, there you are. I'm about to burst here. Oh, Honey, I can't thank you enough for all the wonderful work you did. Thank you.

Megan: Did you get your happy ending?

Luna: Well, I think it's more like a happy beginning.

Michael: You feeling better?

Marcie: Yeah. I feel like something big kind of happened.

Michael: Yeah, me, too.

Marcie: But what?

Michael: I don't know. Maybe we happened.

Marcie: Maybe we did. There's just something about you, Michael McBain, something that's making me really happy.

Luna: So, what about you, Megan? You did what you came here for?

Megan: Yes. My mother needed my help, and now she'll be just fine. And so will Ben.

Ben: So tired.

Viki: Then you rest, darling. I'll be here. You know I will.

Ben: I don't know if I can -- I don't know if I can wake up tomorrow.

Viki: I'll be here anyway.

Ben: I love you.

Viki: I love you.
