Bo: All these murders took place in New Jersey?
John: The white rose killer, yeah.
Bo: Yeah. Yeah, I remember, four or five years ago.
John: Five, yeah. I asked forensics to get on it, check out the tape.
Bo: Do you think this is another message from our killer?
John: Yep. Maybe he left us a clue this time.
Bo: They never caught the white rose killer, right? So do you think our guy's just yanking your chain again? You know, it's like "you didn't get him, you're not going to get me"?
John: Maybe "you didn't catch me then and you won't catch me now."
Marcie: Yeah, Agent McBain really needs that tape. Ok, well, just call me as soon as it's ready. Yeah, I'll walk it back from forensics myself. Oh. Right. Yeah, thatís going to be fun, for Valentine's Day.
Al: Simply Red's doing a couple of nights at the spectrum down in Philly. That's Marcie's favorite band. She was supposed to see them in New York with that guy Greg.
Luna: Oh, yeah, that's the night she was supposed to -- she had Eve McBain over for dinner, didnít she?
Al: Yeah, so she missed the concert for me. I'm going to bring the band to her, on Valentine's Day.
Luna: Well, that's a tall order.
Al: Yeah. I'm talking to the band's manager later on. I'm telling you, luna, if I can pull this off, I think it'll do it, you know? She'll finally see that it's really me, Al, inside of here and, you know, we'll finally get to be together.
Luna: Oh, gosh, darling, I hope it works. You know what, though? I'm going to miss you.
Al: I'm not going to see you anymore.
Luna: Yeah, you will. Someday. Oh, a long time from now.
Al: I've been thinking about Marcie so much, I kind of forgot everything else. I forgot completely that I was going to lose Al's memories. I got to go and say goodbye.
Dorian: Where's my other glove? I must have dropped it somewhere.
David: Check your right pocket.
David: Do you want me to answer the phone?
Dorian: Thank you. No. And lower the volume, please.
David: Ok. Whom are we avoiding?
Dorian: Aunt Betsy. She keeps calling about Adriana.
David: Aunt Betsy has been threatening her own demise for months. She can wait until the trial's over.
Dorian: Wait for $30 million? David, am I really talking to you?
David: Well, I want you to be focused on the plan when you see Aunt Betsy. And besides, her money is accruing interest.
Dorian: Thank you very much for spending the night last night.
David: What, are you kidding? I get the willies just setting a foot in a courtroom. No one should be alone after what you went through yesterday.
Dorian: Is this ever going to be over for Blair?
Nora: How are you holding up?
Blair: Well, after Kevin's testimony yesterday, the jury is seeing me as the unfaithful wife flaunting an affair, while they're seeing Todd as a victim.
Nora: Hmm. You really think so?
Nora: I donít. I think the jury is seeing Todd's violence firsthand, like when he attacked Kevin. He keeps it up, Todd's going to convict himself.
Kevin: Evangeline's going to question me about Blair. Are you sure you want to be here?
Kelly: Yes. We are together now, and I want to show that jury and this whole town.
Kevin: All right.
Kevin: Let's go.
Kevin: Grandpa, what are you doing here?
Asa: Well, I -- I can't stop the press from slinging mud at you, Kevin, but I can stand beside you. Buchananís stick together.
Kevin: Well, thanks for coming.
Bailiff: All rise. The superior court of Llantano County is now in session, Judge Virginia Lowell presiding.
Judge: Be seated. Ms. Williamson, you've informed your client that I will not tolerate further physical or verbal abuse in my courtroom?
Evangeline: I have, your Honor.
Judge: Mr. Manning? Mr. Manning, if you don't behave, you can watch these proceedings on closed-circuit television in your cell.
Evangeline: She means it.
Todd: Yeah, like it matters. Look how many people are rooting for Blair. Who's going to believe me?
Kevin: Oh, hey.
Roxy: Yeah, yeah. So, River, I'm going to call my buddy pal Willie, and I'm going to tell him to give you the R.I.P. Treatment. Who the hell am I going to tell? Honey, my lips are zipped. Yeah. Ok. Yeah. Hey, got to go. Sorry. Guess who's getting hitched.
Nigel: Uh --
Roxy: Is something wrong, Nige?
Nigel: This -- this utter mockery of the law! A condemnation notice, courtesy of Mr. Buchanan. "The residents of the hotel must vacate the premises before the end of the month."
Roxy: But how can he do that?
Nigel: Undoubtedly, he made a few calls to his friends on the city council. They voted to condemn my property.
Roxy: So what are you going to do?
Nigel: Well, what can I do? How do I fight city hall when Mr. Buchanan practically owns it?
Roxy: You can't just lay down and let him run all over you. Ok. I got it. Think big, Roxy. Think big.
Bartender: Here you go. Hey, did you get to the part where Manning flipped out in court? Now, that guy has got to be guilty. Do you know he's gone down on rape before? It's got to make you wonder what kind of sleazy lawyer he's got.
R.J.: You, my friend, know precious little about what you speak. So why don't you tend to the bar and stop flapping your lips.
Nora: Mr. Buchanan, as we established yesterday before we were interrupted, you've known the defendant, Todd Manning, for a long time, since your -- well, you were fraternity brothers at Llanview University. Isn't that correct?
Nora: That's right. And you also established yesterday that you were very concerned about Blair Cramer now that Mr. Manning was back in her life?
Nora: Is that because his violent behavior that he has persistently exhibited since he was in college?
Kevin: Yes, persistently. No one knows better than I do what he's capable of.
Evangeline: Objection. Approach, your Honor?
Nora: Your honor, this witness has observed the same violent behavior towards Ms. Cramer the defendant has been exhibiting since the witness has met him. I'm merely trying to establish the defendant's pattern of violence.
Evangeline: No, what you're trying to do is bring in inadmissible information about his criminal record.
Judge: Spare me. Ladies, we settled this issue before these proceedings began. Keep the line of questioning to firsthand encounters between the witness and the defendant. No prior bad acts, Ms. Buchanan.
Nora: Yes, your Honor.
Judge: Don't make me remind you again.
Nora: Yes, your Honor. Yes.
Judge: Step back.
Nora: Mr. Buchanan --
Nora: You were worried about Ms. Cramer's safety. You were suspicious about Walker Lawrence's true identity, so suspicious and concerned, in fact, that you hired a private investigator to dig into the background of the defendant. Isn't that correct?
Nora: And what did you do with this information? Did you confront the defendant; ask him why he was using a false identity?
Kevin: He said that Blair wouldn't take him back if she knew he was Todd.
Nora: Why not?
Kevin: Because he'd lied to her. He deceived her, betrayed her, he kidnapped her kids.
Judge: Strike the answer. Don't interpret, Mr. Buchanan.
Nora: Mr. Buchanan, did you observe an incident in Saranac about three months ago that made you feel that Mr. Manning would cause physical harm to Ms. Cramer?
Kevin: Blair and Todd were supposed to go to Saranac after their wedding. Todd didn't make it. He was detained by the police for questioning for something. I was there giving a speech. My mother was coming to see me. She was on a plane with Blair's aunt, Dorian Lord. They were in a crash and they were missing. Blair and I went out to search for them. There was a snowstorm, we got caught in it, we found a cabin, and we took that for shelter. While I was trying to get us out of the cabin and rescued, I hurt my leg and it became infected. I got sick, I got the chills, and Blair was trying to keep me warm. That's when Todd came in and found us.
Nora: What happened then?
Kevin: Well, he went ballistic. I mean, he completely lost it. I honestly think he would have killed us both if the rescue team hadn't arrived.
Evangeline: Objection. Speculation, your Honor.
John: Your coffee's terrible. The white rose killer went after brides, always a week before their wedding.
Bo: I remember. He always left a bouquet of white roses at the scene.
John: Yeah, I was pulled off the case not long after that news conference.
Bo: Did the F.B.I. Pull you off?
John: Personal reasons.
John: What happened to Caitlin. I was in the hospital for seven weeks after getting shot.
Bo: I'm sorry. But if they never caught the white rose killer, you think he could be our guy?
John: Could be. But anybody could have taped that news conference, Bo. Anybody.
[Knock on door]
Marcie: This is the surveillance footage that you asked for of the station and courthouse entrances.
Bo: Well, let's pop it in and take a look.
Marcie: Yeah. I cued it up for you to about 10 minutes before the delivery of the video was logged in at the front desk.
Bo: Well, Thank You, Marcie.
Marcie: You're welcome.
John: Oh, I'm not paying for this.
John: Stop. That's it. That's the envelope, right?
Bo: Yeah. This kid here -- he looks familiar.
Marcie: Yeah, I see him all the time. You can't really miss him. I mean, he has a tattoo of barbed wire around his neck. Look, you can see it.
Bo: Where do you see him?
Marcie: I see him at the community center a lot. He eats there.
John: You see that kid? When was the last time you saw him?
Marcie: Well, maybe last week sometime. He hangs out in Angel Square.
John: This kid -- he could be our link to the killer.
John: Go ahead. Dig in.
Man: That package -- if it was something illegal, I didn't know about it.
John: Don't worry about what's in it. Just tell me who gave it to you.
Man: Don't know his name.
John: Can you describe him for me?
Man: I never saw his face. It was dark, you know, cold. He had on a big coat and a hat, scarf. Nice stuff.
John: How about how tall?
Man: We only talked for, like, five seconds. He gave me the package and a 20 to deliver it, and then he took off.
John: What about the bill? You still got the bill? All right.
Man: But there was something about that 20, though. You know, it -- it had something on it, like a symbol, maybe? Kind of cool.
John: Ok, you remember where you spent the bill?
Man: Right here, man. I came to eat.
John: Right here?
John: Mrs. Vega, do you deposit your register receipts every night?
Carlotta: Yeah, unless I need the money to start in the morning.
John: Ok, how about last night?
Carlotta: No, no.
John: No? You mind if I take a look at your 20's?
Carlotta: Sure, of course.
Carlotta: Here you go.
John: I'm in the wrong business.
John: Hey -- this one -- how about this one? Is that it?
Man: Yeah, that's it.
Marcie: Oh, Michael. Listen, I'm really glad that you came by. I was going to call you. It's about Valentine's Day.
Al: I'm sorry. You're not going to cancel.
Marcie: Well, it's just that, like, I still have all this stuff at Jen's house and I really have to get it moved out, so --
Al: Well, then I'll help you move -- today, tomorrow, anytime. Just please don't cancel on me. Please?
Bo: How you doing?
Al: Hey. Commissioner, can I have a word with you?
Bo: Sure. What can I do for you?
Al: I found this in the lost and found.
Bo: This was Gabrielle's. She was going to read this while she was recuperating from that transplant, but then, when Al -- you know what? Her name is not really anywhere in here. How'd you know this was hers?
Al: If you remember, I did her post-op. It was in the room. I really thought you should have it. I hope I'm not being out of line here. I saw Gabrielle on New Yearís Eve, and -- well, she looked really happy.
Bo: That's nice to hear.
Al: For keeping the community so safe. We appreciate it.
Bo: Thanks for dropping this by.
Bo: Marcie, I'm going to be down in court.
Evangeline: Mr. Buchanan, you testified that you had sexual intercourse with Blair Manning. Is that true?
Kevin: Yes. Once.
Evangeline: Just yes or no, Mr. Buchanan. And when you were having sex with Blair Manning, you were also married?
Evangeline: And you were serving as Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania?
Evangeline: A position from which you have since resigned. Correct?
Kevin: That's correct.
Evangeline: Interesting -- the timing of your resignation. It was announced just one day after the news hit that you had slept with another man's wife.
Nora: Your Honor, objection. Inflammatory.
Evangeline: The fact that you had to give up your powerful position -- you must be resentful. Are you, Mr. Buchanan?
Nora: Your Honor, objection.
Judge: Sustained. Ms. Williamson, questions of substance, please.
Evangeline: Mr. Buchanan, do you consider yourself an honest man?
Kevin: Yes, I do.
Evangeline: When you and your wife moved back to Pennsylvania from Texas last year, you came sometime before she did, yes?
Evangeline: And during that period before your wife joined you in Llanview, you saw Blair Manning socially, for drinks and dinner?
Kevin: That's true, yes.
Evangeline: And when you went out socially with Blair Manning, did you ever feel you had to lie to your wife regarding your whereabouts?
Kevin: I didn't tell Kelly where I was --
Evangeline: Did you ever lie? Yes or no?
Evangeline: Will you please tell the court why you felt you had to lie to your wife?
Kevin: My wife and I were having problems, actually.
Evangeline: Mr. Buchanan, were you trying to protect Blair Manning from your wife's suspicions?
Evangeline: So you've lied to protect Blair Manning?
Evangeline: Then would you tell us, Mr. Buchanan, why we should believe you're not lying to protect her now?
Kevin: Because I'm not.
Evangeline: No further questions at this time.
Nora: Nothing further, your Honor.
Judge: You may step down.
Viki: I'm so sorry you had to go through that, Kevin. And, you, too, Kelly.
Kevin: I don't -- he doesn't deserve your support. I just hope you don't get hurt. You know, he hurts everyone he claims to love. I'm going to take Kelly home. She needs to rest.
Asa: And, you, Viki -- you take that wacko's side over your own son?
Bailiff: All rise.
Judge: Be seated. Ms. Buchanan, call your next witness.
Nora: Your Honor, the commonwealth calls commissioner Bo Buchanan.
Luna: Whoo! Hey, what you did for Bo was really wonderful, even though he might think you're a little weird right now.
Al: Yeah, he probably does.
Al: You know, I have so many people to see. I didn't really get the chance to say goodbye to people last time I was on my way out.
Man: Excuse me. Michael McBain?
Luke: Luke West. I manage Simply Red. You want to book the band?
Al: Well, not exactly. You see, I'm a huge fan, but their biggest fan in the world lives right here in Llanview.
Luke: Very nice, I'm sure.
Al: No, no, no, hear me out, hear me out. You see, this fan -- her name is Marcie, and -- well, I'm just nuts about her. And I want to get her something incredible for Valentine's Day.
Luke: You want the band to serenade her?
Al: Yeah, yeah. You know, they're doing a show in Philly, so I figured, you know, they stop by for a late show here.
Luke: Oh. And it's that easy, is it?
Al: Well, we do have a great club here. I could guarantee a packed house. Ultra Violet -- it's off the hook.
Luke: Sorry, mate. We run a very tight schedule as it is.
Al: Please, just hear me out, ok? Now, if I could get them to sing just a couple of songs, I'm sure that would do it. That would help me to get through to her, man, because I -- I got to sound like a total lunatic right now. I know I must sound like an insane fan, but I really don't care. You see, I really love this woman with all of my heart, and our entire future is riding on that day.
Luke: That -- that is an amazing story, and it's touched me. It really has.
Al: Great! Then you'll do it? You'll talk to the band?
Luke: No! No way in hell!
John: "You go where I lead you."
Nora: Commissioner Buchanan, you had occasion to witness Mr. Manning's explosive temper firsthand. Would you like to tell us about that recent occasion?
Bo: Well, Mr. Manning was being held in connection with -- to another case. But he was anxious to get out because he wanted to travel to upstate New York.
Nora: Why was that?
Bo: Because he was obsessed with the idea that Blair was with another man.
Nora: And how did that obsession manifest itself?
Bo: Well, he was quite angry, and it's probably a good idea that he was locked up in a cell to keep him away from her.
Nora: Thank you, commissioner. No further questions. Your witness.
Evangeline: Commissioner Buchanan, you said you were holding Mr. Manning in an unrelated matter. But he was never charged, nor is he a suspect in that or any other case, is he?
Evangeline: And while he was in your custody, Mr. Manning confided in you. He told you why he changed his identity. What was the reason he gave?
Bo: Mr. Manning said that he wanted to be with Blair, but he knew that he didn't stand a chance as Todd manning.
Evangeline: "He wanted to be with Blair Manning." And did he tell you why?
Bo: He said that he loved her.
Evangeline: He loved her? Did you believe Mr. Manning, Commissioner?
Evangeline: Thank you. Nothing else.
Roxy: Hey, we're going to chain ourselves to the pipes or stairs or something like that. What do you think?
Nigel: These flimsy things? The police will cut them off with a pair of pliers. My dream -- it's truly shattered this time.
Roxy: Hold that thought, honey.
Jessica: Hi. Is Natalie here?
Roxy: Oh, yeah, well -- no, Natalie left before I got up, but Nigel's here. I'll explain. Don't worry.
Jessica: Hi, Nigel. How's it going? What's wrong?
Roxy: Asa's threatened to shut his hotel down.
Jessica: Oh, Nigel.
Nigel: Mr. Buchanan's determined to put me out of business.
Jessica: Oh, no.
Nigel: He'll never forgive me for leaving his employ.
Jessica: No, I'm going to speak to him.
Nigel: I stood behind Mr. Buchanan for many years. I have to live my own dream now.
Jessica: Ok, well, let me know if there's anything I can do. Bye.
Roxy: How does Asa have time to do this? I mean, he's marrying Renee and he's got a zillion businesses to run.
Nigel: Money buys time.
Roxy: That's it. We're going to go to Buchanan Enterprises, we're going to make up signs, and we're going to march in front of the place.
Nigel: A picket line?
Roxy: Right, and we're going to end up on TV.
Nigel: Miss Jessica might be willing to write about us in "The Banner." You know, Roxanne, no, it could work. Mr. Buchanan's name is his reputation. He would do anything to protect it.
Man: [Distorted voice] Hey, Johnny. Did you like my gift?
John: Yeah. As a matter of fact, I -- I was thinking about sending you a thank-you card. You want to tell me your return address?
Man: Must have been interesting, reliving that night. You didn't know I had it all on tape, did you? Nothing to say, Johnny boy? Sounds like you'd better watch the tape again, all the way to the end this time.
Luke: Now, look, I've got to go. Good luck with the girl.
R.J.: Excuse me. I'm R.J. Gannon. I -- well, I own a few of the clubs here in town. Maybe you've heard of Capricorn.
Luke: Yeah. Good venue.
R.J.: Well, thank you. Thank you. I was thinking, I can make it available, one night only, February 14. Think about it. Simply red, one night only.
Luke: The band has a gig.
R.J.: Well, that's fine, but they can drop in late, play a short set. Make it a surprise, if you want.
Al: Yeah, like Bruce Springsteen at the Stone Pony.
R.J.: And I can pay the full fee. Huh? Guarantee media coverage. Look, why don't you run it by the band and see what they say?
Luke: Oh, what the hell? I'll make the call.
Al: Yes! I can't believe it! Wait a second. Why did you help me?
Evangeline: There's an expert witness next.
Nora: Your Honor, approach? I'm sorry, your Honor. I just found out that my next witness, Dr. Rae Cummings, is not here. I can only assume that she's been held up by an emergency.
Judge: Very well. I'll expect to hear from you soon on this. Thank you. You can step back.
Nora: Thank you.
Judge: Court is adjourned for today.
[Judge pounds gavel]
Bailiff: All rise.
Evangeline: I'll be by to see you later, ok?
Evangeline: Mrs. Davidson, I would like to thank you so much for being here. For the jury to see you sitting behind Todd -- it is a big boost for our case.
Todd: You know, you can get me locked up, but --
Officer: Keep moving, Manning.
Todd: You don't want to do this.
Jessica: Hey, Marcie. I'm just going to go --
Marcie: Oh --
Jessica: Check in on John McBain.
Marcie: Hey, you know, you might want to wait a second. He's kind of busy.
Bo: The number was from a phone booth near the campus, and it was empty.
John: And no witnesses, right?
Bo: Nobody yet. Why don't you just fast-forward through that?
John: Could be we're just looking for a few frames.
Woman's voice: John? Hey, I thought I heard someone. I'm glad it's you.
John: Caitlin --
John's voice: I'm going to take a little look around, ok?
Caitlin's voice: Come and kiss me first.
Bo: That your fiancťe?
John's voice: Ok.
Caitlin's voice: I love you so much.
John's voice: Caitlin!
R.J.: Simply Red, February 14 at Capricorn.
Luke: He said he'd do the gig. I'm not sure why.
R.J.: Well, obviously, he stands behind all those love songs he writes.
Luke: I'll be in touch. See you guys.
Al: You just saved my life.
R.J.: Look, forget about it. But look, spread the word about Simply Red performing at Capricorn, huh?
Al: No problem.
Evangeline: I got a call you wanted to meet me here?
R.J.: Well, yes, I heard that court recessed early. You know, I have been following the trial.
Evangeline: R.J., I know how you feel about Todd, but I -- he's my client, and I don't have time to --
R.J.: No, no, no, no -- shh, shh, shh, no. I don't want to talk about him or any of that. I was just wondering if you have any plans for Valentineís Day.
Evangeline: No plans yet.
R.J.: Hmm. So, what do you think about you and me, some great music, a long massage.
Evangeline: No talk about the case?
R.J.: No. No, no, no, None. Zero. Just you and me.
Evangeline: Oh -- you're on. You're on!
Evangeline: Thank you. Mmm.
Jessica: Hi. Have you seen Natalie around anywhere?
Al: No. Is something wrong?
Jessica: I just need to talk to her, that's all.
Al: Well, you know, if you need to talk to somebody, you could talk to me.
Jessica: It's kind of personal.
Al: Oh, it's a girl thing. You can't talk to a guy about it. I understand.
Jessica: No, that's not it at all. You just made me think of someone, a good friend of mine.
Al: Really? Who's that?
Jessica: Al Holden. He's one of my closest friends. I could tell him anything. Well, I should go and try to find Natalie.
Al: Goodbye, Jessica.
Jessica: You're talking like we're never going to see each other again.
Carlotta: Adriana's not with you?
Dorian: No. She said she was going to go over to your place while I was at court.
Carlotta: Oh, senor! I came over to see her, and when she wasn't here, I didn't know what to do.
David: All right, I'm on it.
Dorian: I'm never usually so trusting. I should have called you and let you know that she was coming over to be with you. But I -- I'm so preoccupied with the court case, and it just -- it didn't occur to me that she would be lying.
David: River is not at the rectory.
Carlotta: Oh! River and Adriana are always talking about their love and wanting to get married. You don't think they'd go through with it?
Dorian: How could they? They don't have the resources, the money.
David: Except Paul. You call him. I'm calling someone else.
David: Uh -- hi. Roxanne?
Roxy: Who wants to know?
David: Oh, hi. It's David Vickers. You probably don't remember me, but we've met here and there.
Roxy: Yeah, you're the big, tall hunk, friend of Dorianís.
David: Oh. I'm flattered you'd remember. Listen, I don't want Dorian to know that I'm calling, but I just wanted to thank you for what you did for River and Adriana.
Roxy: Who told you that?
David: Oh, well, River did, of course. He said you were completely supportive, and I wholeheartedly agree with you. I told him he should just take Adriana ASAP and get married. I mean, nothing should stand in the way of true love, right?
Roxy: You know, that's exactly what I said. You must be psychic or something.
David: Hey, did you send the newlyweds something? I feel so stupid. I wanted to send them something, but they left without telling me where they went. Did he happen to mention it to you?
Roxy: You know, it's a real good thing that you called, Dave, because I sent them to this place in South Carolina, Myrtle Beach, but you'd never find it in a million years.
David: Oh, that sounds great. Did he happen to mention the name of it?
Roxy: It's called Willieís Wedding World. But keep that under your hat, Honey.
David: Roxanne, anyone who knows me will tell you how much you can trust me. Goodbye. Pack your parasol. We're going to South Carolina.
Kelly: Todd supposedly rapes Blair, and they make you look like the bad guy.
Kevin: Well, I just hope I didn't screw up the case for Blair. Look, thanks for being there with me.
Kelly: Of course. I love you.
Kevin: I love you, too.
Kevin: All right, all right.
Kevin: Well --
Kevin: What about the baby?
Kelly: Oh. The baby will be fine.
Kevin: Well, honey --
Kelly: Come on.
Kevin: Listen, you're supposed to be resting, ok?
Kevin: You've already been up all day long, going through emotional hell.
Kelly: Look, Dr. Brock said that we had to wait a couple of days. It's been a couple of days. This is how we made the baby in the first place, you know. Remember?
Kevin: Of course I remember.
Kelly: Remember this?
[Answering machine beeps]
Blair: Hi, Kevin. It's Blair, and I'm just calling to thank you for everything, and I know Evangeline really, really put you through the wringer and --
Blair: Hey. Kevin. Look, I am just so sorry.
Kevin: No, it's ok. How are you doing? You looked like you were in pain today, with your head and everything.
Blair: It's just stress, Kevin. You know, sometimes I feel like I'm going to explode, you know?
Kevin: All right, well, listen, just hang in there, ok?
Blair: Well, thanks. Bye.
Kevin: Hey. Mmm. What?
Kelly: I am tired. You were right. Can we just lay here?
Viki: Excuse me. Do you think I might speak with my brother just for a moment, please?
Officer: One minute.
Viki: Thank you. Come and sit down.
Todd: What do you think?
Viki: Well, I think it was a very trying day for everyone. I think Evangeline is doing a brilliant job, and I think the case looks good.
Todd: You're a really lousy liar, you know that? But thanks for showing up. It's nice to know someone gives a damn.
Viki: Hey, I'm not the only one. Ok, this is from someone who loves you very, very much.
Todd: "I love you, dad, whether near or far. Please come home soon. O great one, Starr."
Officer: Time's up.
John: He killed Caitlin and -- and he taped it. He taped her murder.
Bo: Listen, stick around here. Take some time for yourself, all right?
John: Time? Bo, the man that killed those women, the man that killed those women killed Caitlin. He -- he killed my fiancťe. When I find him, I'm going to kill him.
John: Caitlin! Oh, god, I'm sorry! I'm sorry.
Stay tuned for scenes from the next "one life to live." What?
On the next "one life to live" --
Marcie: I'm really not ready to spend Valentineís Day with anybody else. I'm still in love with Al.
Nora: Have you seen Rae at all?
Stephen: We had an early dinner date last night and she stood me up.
John: This whole thing started from MacIver. Wherever he pointed her, that's where we have to go look.
