Starr: Oh, I hate hospitals. They scare me.

Blair: Yeah, I don't think the judge meant for you to love it. It's called community service.

Starr: These sick people give me the creeps.

Blair: You gave a lot of people the creeps the other day when you ran off with Matthew. I think you should think about that today, Starr.

Starr: Okay, well, I'm here. You can go now, okay?

Blair: No, I cannot go. I'm going to wait for your supervisor, all right? Oh --

[Blair groans]

Troy: Nora -- Nora -- killer -- I have to tell Nora who the killer is. I have to tell --

David: Good morning, Nora. Or am I required to address you as Assistant District Attorney Buchanan now?

Nora: What can I help you with, Mr. Vickers?

David: You call me David. I'm here to offer my services. Where would one sign up if one wanted to become a witness for the prosecution?

Nora: Do you have evidence in a case?

David: You want to nail Todd Manning? I can help.

Nora: How?

David: I'll testify under oath that that bastard told me that he raped Blair.

Todd: Tonight's editorial. Wrote it myself.

Evangeline: "Slimeball can't take the heat"? You're not really going to run this?

Todd: Why not? You think it's too soft?

Evangeline: You can't say these things in print.

Todd: Well, it's my newspaper, isn't it?

Evangeline: If you take this attitude in the courtroom, there is nothing I can do for you. You are going to be convicted of rape.

John: "Police have not released the name of the latest victim, but it has been confirmed she was a student at Llanview University and she was able to give a description of her attacker before she died."

Antonio: Well, that ought to get his attention.

John: "According to police, that description matched one given by Troy MacIver, a former suspect in the music box murders. MacIver has identified the individual he believes to have framed him for the crimes." The story's everything that we wanted. Thanks.

Kevin: Well, listen, if a few lies in "The Banner" can help you catch this guy, I'm more than happy to do it. He almost killed Flash, for crying out loud, you know?

Antonio: She get off to London all right?

Kevin: Yeah. We're just hoping the doctor there can help her. Listen, good luck with this, all right?

Antonio: All right.

John: Thanks again.

Kevin: You bet.

John: I don't know if the killer's going to buy this.

Antonio: Well, might get him to call you, though.

John: What we need to do is find a way to keep him on the line long enough that we can get a trace -- maybe even just get to hear some background noises, anything that can give us a clue to how to find him.

Antonio: I just hope he calls you before he decides to kill someone else.

Jessica: Welcome back, boss.

Kevin: Oh, yeah, that's cute. Well, at least somebody's happy to see me.

Jessica: Are you sure you want to be back here? I mean, don't you want to take a little time?

Kevin: Oh, look, Jess, I'm not going to live my life looking over my shoulder. You know, I resigned. I'm moving on. Listen, have you seen Roger Fisher? I need him to check up on a story we wrote for the L.P.D. They think it might help catch the Music Box Killer, so --

Jessica: Roger's not here.

Kevin: Oh. All right, well, remember to thank him when --

Jessica: Kevin -- Roger resigned last night.

Kevin: What? Because I'm coming back here.

Jessica: You don't know that that's --

Kevin: No, no, no, that's the reason. I mean, he wouldn't have the editorial responsibility that he wants with me here. It's obvious. Look -- man, he's going to be so hard to replace. What am I --

Kelly: Who?

Jessica: Roger Fisher -- he quit.

Kelly: Oh, my God. What are you going to do?

Kevin: I don't know what I'm going to do.

Kelly: Well, you have to replace him immediately. I mean, this paper can't really function without him. There's got to be someone good. I mean, just think. Maybe we can find someone better than him.

Kevin: Well, there is one person.

Kelly: Okay. Make a call. Get him.

Kevin: Yeah, well, it's not a he, and I don't know if you're going to like it.

Kelly: No. Not Blair.

Blair: These headaches -- they're just getting worse and worse. Just -- what's the matter with you?

Starr: You're not fooling anyone, Mom.

Blair: What?

Starr: You're not fooling me with those stupid headaches, and I don't feel sorry for you.

Blair: Excuse me. I'm looking for a Nurse Bryce?

Nurse: Well, you found her.

Blair: Nurse Bryce, I'm Blair Cramer. We spoke earlier on the phone today?

Nurse Bryce: Oh, yes, Mrs. Cramer. Oh, you must be Starr. Don't worry, Mrs. Cramer. She will not have time to get into mischief here. We have lots for her to do.

Blair: Good. Starr, I will be back in about an hour, okay? You be a good girl.

Starr: You know what? I was thinking, since I'm a really good singer and a really good dancer and I can -- and I can do it really well, too -- maybe I could put on a show for the sick people and cheer them up and everything.

Nurse Bryce: That would be wonderful.

Starr: Great.

Nurse Bryce: But I don't think that's what the judge had in mind. I've heard about you and your escapades, missy. Don't you even think about trying anything with me. This way. These books need to be alphabetized and re-shelved in the hospital library. I'll check on you shortly.

Starr: Excellent.

Nora: Mr. Vickers --

David: Ah --

Nora: Oh, David -- tell Dorian --

David: Mm-hmm?

Nora: To stop messing in my cases or she'll be responsible for Todd's acquittal.

David: Dorian didn't send me, although I would like to see him put away as much as she would -- maybe even more.

Nora: And I like to try my cases the old-fashioned way, you know, without suborning perjury.

David: I don't know what "suborning" means, but I know that Todd told me he raped Blair. I am not lying about that.

Nora: Look, David --

David: Todd told me a lot of things that not very many people know. Look, this is a little embarrassing, but I'm the guy that Todd gave his son to when he told Blair that little Jack was dead. I want you to know I found that little kid a great home, wonderful parents. They were desperate to adopt children.

Nora: How much did you get for the little boy?

David: I had to recoup my expenses.

Nora: Oh, my God --

David: You know what? You really ought to be a lot nicer to me. We're on the same side here.

Nora: Well, that's a scary thought.

David: So you don't want my help?

Nora: I can't use your help. I canít. Even if you are telling the truth --

David: I am telling the --

Nora: It doesn't matter. Evangeline Williamson will rip you apart on the stand. She's going to impugn your character, which isn't too difficult. You see, witnesses need credibility.

David: Oh, come on. That's a joke.

Nora: No, it's really not.

David: It is a joke. Kevin Buchanan might be able to purchase himself some credibility, but Blair? All right. I want it on the record that I tried to do the right thing here. Good luck, Counselor. You're going to need it.

Todd: A libel suit, maybe, but how does this convict me of rape?

Evangeline: This article makes Blair look like a complete innocent, like a victim with no responsibility at all for her own actions.

Todd: Buchanan took advantage of her.

Evangeline: Then it's not such a huge leap for a jury to believe that you would do the same thing.

Todd: I didn't rape her.

Evangeline: This article does not help me prove reasonable doubt. Look, here's a news flash for you -- your trial is in less than two weeks. If I can't -- if I can't go after Blairís character in the courtroom, then I don't know how I'm supposed to defend you here.

Todd: You'll have to get creative.

Evangeline: Okay, look, she's going to get up on the stand and she is going to testify how you brutalized her, and then the judge is going to call me to cross-examine. What do you expect me to say? "I'm -- I'm sorry, Your Honor. No questions at this time"?

Todd: She won't do it.

Evangeline: What?

Todd: Blair -- she won't say I raped her. She's confused, but she'll remember and she'll -- she'll drop the charges.

Evangeline: Right. Sorry, right. She just magically is going to come to her senses.

Todd: No. She loves me. I told you that before. I know she loves me.

Evangeline: Okay, Todd. Get a second opinion if you need to, but any decent defense attorney is going to give you the same advice. If you continue to insist on these conditions, then you need to consider taking a plea.

Nurse Bryce: What have you done?

Starr: You know what? You shouldn't call my mom because she said that she was going to be really busy. You should really call my dad.

Nurse Bryce: I'm calling the authorities, young lady.

Nora: I just need you to talk to Blair and evaluate her.

Rae: I could if she were willing --

Nora: It would really help us a lot, especially -- it would help our case if you could testify that s w was traumatized, I mean, honestly testify that she's showing the same characteristics that are consistent with a rape victim. And if you could evaluate whether she's waffling on me, I would truly appreciate that.

Rae: You know how hard it is for any rape victim to go through a trial, especially when it's with your husband.

Nora: I know, I know, and Todd's really been working on her with doubt, you know, trying to get her to drop the charges --

Rae: I know.

Nora: And you know those two -- they're on again, off again, on again, off again. I just -- I think he's going to get to her.

Rae: You can't control Blair. You know that.

Nora: I know.

Rae: Now, if she drops these charges -- now, listen to me -- it is not your fault.

Nora: I don't want him to walk, Rae.

Rae: I know. But I think you still feel responsible for the last time when Todd was on trial for rape. Am I right?

Nora: Of -- I defended him.

Rae: I know that.

Nora: What a fool I was.

Rae: You know what I heard? That a lot of people believed that Todd didn't rape -- what is her name?

Nora: Marty Saybrooke.

Rae: That's it -- Marty Saybrooke. He deceived you, all of you.

Nora: Sometimes I wonder whether I could be objective about this case. I mean, I believe Blair, but if I didn't feel the way I do about Todd --

Rae: The point is you feel you have enough evidence to charge him.

Nora: Yeah.

Rae: Right?

Nora: Yes, absolutely.

Rae: Then you have to leave it up to a jury to decide if he's innocent or guilty. That's it. Oh, Stephen. Hi.

Stephen: Nora.

Nora: Hi.

Stephen: I just got a call from the hospital. Troy MacIver is up and he wants to talk to you. I could go along with you if you'd like.

Nora: Think I'll take you up on that.

Rae: Good.

Stephen: Okay.

Nora: Let me just go and check in with John and Antonio first. Excuse me.

Rae: Hey, you know, I'm glad we have a minute. I --

Stephen: Mm-hmm?

Rae: I was talking to Jessica Buchanan yesterday, and she was talking a lot about your mother and, well, how amazing she was. I mean, it was so surprising that I didn't even say anything. Obviously, you don't want to tell her the whole truth about your mother?

Jessica: Kevin, I don't know. Hiring Blair?

Kevin: You don't think she can do the job?

Jessica: No, that's not what I'm saying. She's fantastic.

Kevin: Look, she's available, all right? She just quit "The Sun."

Jessica: I -- I don't mean to bring this up, but there's been some nasty rumors about you two and some bad publicity.

Kevin: Well, I think if Kelly can ignore it, everyone else should, too.

Kelly: You can't think of anyone else to fill this position?

Kevin: Look, I don't have any time here, okay? She's available. You know what? We would be helping her and the paper at the same time.

Kelly: Well, I guess, then, you have to do whatever you think is necessary.

Jessica: All I'm saying is that it might stir up some rumors again.

Kelly: Yeah, it's not the rumors I'm worried about. Look, people talk, they get bored, and they move on to something else. The point is -- the point is, is that you need someone strong in fisher's position in order to run this paper, and if you really feel that Blair is the person to fill that job, then I will support your decision.

Kevin: You're sure?

Kelly: Don't make me regret it. And as for bad publicity, once the trial is over, Kevin and Blair will be old news and the gossipmongers will leave us alone.

Jessica: Well, I guess. I mean, Kevin, you need somebody fast, and she's good.

Kevin: I know, man. She's a hell of an editor. Kel?

Kelly: What? Go ahead, call her.

Kevin: All right. Give it a shot. Yeah, Blair, it's Kevin. Yeah, listen, will you meet Kelly and me at The Palace? Well, it's really important. Just take a sec, I promise.

Natalie: Hey! Still have time for lunch?

Jessica: Well, I'll make time because I'm starving.

Natalie: Oh, listen -- Marcie wouldn't let me out of the dinner plans for the party tonight.

Jessica: Natalie, stop dreading it. If you relax, you'd probably really enjoy yourself.

Natalie: I know. I just hate going alone. Do you mind if I kind of tag along with you and Antonio?

Jessica: Well, of course not. But once you get there, you won't be alone anymore.

Natalie: Why not?

Jessica: John's coming.

Natalie: John? I -- well, I thought he'd left town.

Jessica: Oh, well, you know, once they proved that Troy MacIver wasn't the music box murderer, then the F.B.I. put him back on the case.

Natalie: Thank God. Because somebody -- somebody's got go after that maniac, you know? Hey, come on! You even said yourself that Antonio would be worried if he lost him.

Jessica: Natalie -- listen, I know you don't want to admit this and everything, but I think that if he had left, you might have missed him maybe just a little bit, too?

Nora: Troy's asked to see me.

John: Well, if you're worried about your safety, he has a guard on him 24/7.

Nora: No, I know that.

John: Well, hopefully he'll be more lucid for you than he was with me. Couldn't get anything out of him.

[John groans]

Nora: Wait a minute. I thought I read in "The Banner" that he gave you a full description of who the killer is.

John: Oh, yeah, I didn't get a chance to tell you. We -- we planted that story in the newspaper.

Nora: Okay. Ahem -- well, then I will hopefully get some more out of him than you did.

Antonio: Want someone to go with you?

Nora: No. Dr. Haver has actually volunteered. Excuse me.

Rae: If you don't want to talk about this, we don't have to.

Stephen: No, no, no, it's okay. And you're right. I -- I don't like to talk about my mother.

Rae: Oh.

Stephen: So I -- I just fudged things a bit with Jessica.

Rae: Yeah, I know. Well, I understand that. I do. It just -- it just surprised me a little. I mean, coming from your background and everything you've accomplished? My God, you should be so proud of yourself. Stephen?

Nora: Hi. Am I interrupting?

Rae: No.

Nora: Oh, good.

Stephen: No. No, no, not at all. Actually, ready to go?

Nora: Um -- sure, absolutely. Hopefully, Troy's ready to tell me who the killer is.

Rae: Yeah.

Stephen: I hope so.

Nora: Yeah.

Blair: You want me to come work for you at "The Banner"? Well, that is about the last thing I expected you to say, Kevin.

Kevin: Well, Kelly and I talked a lot about this, and we think the job would be good for you -- you know, help you channel your energies and focus on something productive.

Blair: Maybe.

Kelly: After the trial, the rumors will stop, and there shouldn't be any reason for them to start up again, right?

Blair: There shouldn't be.

Kevin: You know, "The Banner" needs an editor, and you'd really be helping me out. So, what do you say?

Blair: Well, I say I have a lot to think about, but thank you, both of you.

Renee: Um --

Blair: Hi, Renee.

Renee: I'm sorry to interrupt, but, Kelly, I didn't hear back from you about the luncheon tomorrow.

[Kelly gasps]

Kelly: Oh, my gosh -- the hospital gala. I totally forgot.

Renee: I really should show you the menu before you leave today.

Kelly: Okay, sure, sure. Excuse me.

Kevin: Sure.

Kelly: Bye, Honey.

Blair: Okay, Kevin. What's the real deal behind the job offer, huh?

Kevin: You're one hell of an editor, and I need one.

Blair: Thank you. And Kellyís just jim dandy about all this?

Kevin: She said it was okay. It's -- it's just a job. That's it.

Daniel: Pardon me, but don't you think you two have cost our party enough votes?

Kevin: Excuse me?

Daniel: Oh, don't get me wrong. I'm not being judgmental, Kevin. It's just that, well, the governor went out on a limb to appoint you, and it seems to me that you and your friend here could be a little bit more discreet, maybe, you know, have your little meetings behind closed doors?

Kevin: Well, I'm glad you're not being judgmental, okay, Daniel. You're right about one thing -- I do need to remain discreet, so, please, don't hurt your reputation by being seen with me.

Daniel: Oh, my reputation's just fine, Kevin.

Kelly: Something wrong?

Blair: Kelly, why don't you tell me? If you don't want me to work with your husband, just say so, all right?

Kelly: Oh, I don't mind your working with my husband. I mind you sleeping with my husband. I don't want that to happen ever again.

Blair: Look, it won't, all right?

Kelly: Excuse me if I have trouble just taking your word for it.

Blair: Why don't you stop. Just stop right now.

Kelly: Look, I understand that you're going through a rough time, but I think we need to get one thing perfectly clear. I have no intention of allowing you to interfere in my marriage any longer. If you try, I will do whatever I have to to stop you. Do you understand me? Anything -- got it?

Blair: I got it.

Kelly: Good.

Blair: I don't want your husband.

Kelly: Well, then we don't have a problem.

Daniel: Well, I must be off. See you around.

Kevin: Look, I'm sorry about that. That's -- I don't know what that's about. You okay?

Blair: I -- I just have a headache, that's all.

Kevin: Well, is there something I could get for you? Kelly, do you have an aspirin?

Blair: No, look, I don't need any aspirin. In fact, nothing seems to help this headache.

[Blair sighs]

Man: I couldn't reach her mother at home.

Todd: Thanks for bringing her here. How could you do something like that?

Starr: It was just a stupid wall.

Man: The hospital attorney will be in touch about the charges, Sir.

Todd: Maybe there's something we can do to avoid that.

Man: That wall has already been photographed, Sir, by Security. "Todd Manning is innocent" in red letters --

Todd: All right.

Man: Had to be at least two feet high.

Todd: I get it. Thank you. Stop smiling. All right, let's hear it.

Starr: I got that stupid security guard to bring me over here. Pretty good, huh?

Todd: No, it isn't good. Do you know that I can go to jail for being in the same room with you?

Starr: I'll tell Mom it's my fault.

Todd: Yeah, that always works.

Starr: Well, maybe you should call her.

Todd: Did you set me up?

Starr: I don't know what you're talking about.

Todd: Did you pull this stunt so I'd have to talk to your mother?

Starr: It's not my fault that you have to call her.

Todd: Starr, you have to stop getting in trouble to force us back together.

Starr: Why not? It's working so far.

[Phone rings]

Blair: Yeah? What?

Todd: Hey, it's me. Don't hang up. Starr's here in my office.

Blair: What is she doing there? She's supposed to be at the hospital.

Todd: There was a problem.

Blair: Really? Well, why didn't somebody call me?

Todd: I guess they only had your home number, but she's here with me now.

Blair: All right, well, I'll be right there. Thanks. Bye.

Kevin: What's wrong?

Blair: Starr. If I didn't have a headache before, I got one now.

[Monitor beeps]

Guard: I'll be outside if you need anything.

Nora: Thank you.

Nora: Troy? Hi.

Troy: Nora.

Nora: Hi. I heard you wanted -- I heard you wanted to see me.

Troy: Yeah.

Nora: I'm sorry, Troy. I'm so sorry that I thought you killed those women.

Troy: I didn't do it. It wasn't me.

Nora: I know, but, Troy, do you know who the killer is?

[Antonio hums]

[Music box plays]

Jessica: Hi.

John: Hey.

Jessica: Wow. Sleep much?

Natalie: Doesn't look like you guys could be working any harder.

John: Uh -- watch the crime scene. I'm going to go for a fresh pot. You want some?

Natalie: Sure.

John: Okay.

Jessica: Well, you really don't look like you're up for going to a party tonight at all.

Antonio: Marcie's dinner party -- I remember, Honey. I'll be all right. I missed you.

Jessica: Me, too.

Natalie: Thanks. So, looks like you were right about Troy MacIver. Must feel good.

John: I don't think I'm going to feel good about anything until we catch this guy.

Natalie: Yeah, well, I'm sorry about the reasons, but I'm -- I'm glad you're staying in Llanview.

John: Really?

Natalie: Yeah. I mean, you need all the help you can get with those lousy bank shots of yours.

John: Yeah.

[Monitor beeps]

Nora: Troy? Oh, Troy, don't go to sleep. No, you need to wake up. Troy?

Stephen: He's going in and out. It's probably going to be a couple of days before the drugs are completely out of his system.

Nora: Okay. We should probably go. Let him get some rest.

[Troy groans]

Troy: Nora --

Nora: Yeah. I'm here. I'm here, Troy.

Troy: I didn't -- I -- I -- I didn't --

Nora: I know you didnít.

Troy: I didn't --

Nora: I know you didnít. I know you didnít. Troy, why did you take an overdose?

Troy: I'm --

Stephen: He's probably still under the influence.

Troy: I'm -- I'm --

Stephen: You're probably suffering from short-term memory loss. Just relax, Troy. You don't have to answer everything right now.

Troy: What? I didn't kill my -- I didn't kill myself. I don't want to die. I don't want to die. No. No, no -- I don't want to die.

David: Hi.

Renee: David. Can I get you something, or are you just looking for someone to pick up the tab?

David: An orange juice would be nice, thank you. And, you know, you really shouldn't toss around that razor-sharp wit, Renee. You could really hurt someone.

Renee: Not to worry. I'm always very careful where I aim.

David: Ah.

David: You alone?

Kelly: Yeah, Kevin went to make a phone call.

David: Oh, business as usual, huh?

Kelly: I have fantastic news.

David: You're leaving him?

Kelly: No. I'm pregnant for real.

David: Okay. You want me to back you up? What should I say, you're having triplets? Is that too much?

Kelly: No, I'm serious. I'm not lying.

David: Kelly, I know how much you want to have a baby, but what about the risk? Are you sure that this new doctor is right?

Kelly: I'm sure. She's very good.

Kevin: Get out of here, Vickers. Come on.

David: I happen to care about Kelly very much. Obviously, more than you do.

Kevin: What the hell are you talking about?

David: Unbelievable. Do you even know what's going on with your own wife?

Jordan: So the hospital gala's coming up. I was kind of hoping that you'd go with me.

Evangeline: Go with you?

Jordan: Yeah.

Evangeline: Like a date?

Jordan: Yeah, like a date. Like we get dressed up real good, I pick you up, we go out, we laugh a lot, maybe imbibe a little. I take you home later than you should be home. I know I haven't been out on a date in a while, but it's, you know -- I've done it before.

Evangeline: Jordan, I don't think it's a good idea.

Jordan: Because of R.J.?

Evangeline: Partly.

Jordan: Are you seriously going to let him dictate who you spend your time with?

Evangeline: Of course not, but I -- I care about R.J. a lot, and --

Jordan: What? Is it serious?

Evangeline: I don't know where my relationship is going with R.J., but that's not really the point. The point is that you and I have been friends for a really long time, and I don't want to ruin that.

Jordan: Okay. Fine. It's not serious. It would have just been an evening of rubberized chicken, overcooked broccoli, and boring conversation. It's okay.

Evangeline: All right, wait, wait. I have never had a boring conversation with you. That is actually what the problem is. I -- I don't want to lose you as a friend.

Starr: Dad, catch. Catch it.

Blair: I just got off the phone with Nurse Bryce. Starr, how could you?

Todd: I already let her have it, so --

Starr: He did, Mom. He said I was in a lot of trouble.

Blair: Well, you are.

Starr: And he also said that if the police came, then they would have to take him away for even being in the same room with me.

Blair: Why did you write on the wall?

Starr: What? It wasn't a lie. I was telling the truth. Dad is innocent.

Todd: We don't need any more trouble, Starr.

Starr: Well, I'm sorry if I tried to help you. I won't do it again.

Todd: Do you really think it helps me for you to write graffiti on a wall?

Starr: Well, I'm trying to tell them that you didn't do anything wrong!

Todd: You were doing community service, Starr. The judge is going to find out about this. The hospital might press -- hey, you all right?

Starr: Oh, she's fine. She's just faking it.

Todd: Are you sick?

Starr: No, she's not. She's just trying to make me feel sorry for her so that I won't be mad at her anymore.

[Phone rings]

Todd: Manning. Yeah, all right. Bring her up. Hedy's here.

Blair: Great. Starr, I want you to go with Hedy. I need to talk to your father.

Todd: You mind your mom and Hedy, too. Hey, are you all right?

Blair: I'm fine, I'm fine. I'm just worried about Starr. We need to talk about her.

Todd: How long have you been having these headaches?

Blair: I'm fine! I'm really worried about --

Todd: No, you're not fine. You're obviously in a lot of pain.

Blair: I've got a headache, all right? I've been having them ever since New Yearís. You remember what happened then, Todd? You -- you attacked me. You raped me. I fell. I hit my head.

Todd: So you really hurt yourself?

Blair: You hurt me!

Todd: No, we need to go to the hospital.

Blair: Stop -- don't -- don't touch me. Donít.

Todd: Blair -- Blair -- Blair?

Troy: I didn't -- I didn't -- I didn't kill myself.

Nora: Troy --

Troy: No, I didn't do it.

Nora: You need to calm down.

Troy: I didn't kill myself.

Nora: Calm down. All right, calm down.

Troy: I didn't kill myself.

Nora: I'm going to go get some help.

Stephen: All right.

Nora: All right. I'll be right back.

Troy: No, no, don't go. Nora -- no, don't go. Didn't do it.

Stephen: There was another murder, Troy.

Troy: I didn't do it.

Stephen: Of course you didn't do it.

Troy: No --

Stephen: You were locked up at Statesville. Everybody knows you didn't do it.

Troy: Statesville --

Stephen: What you need to do now is just relax.

Troy: Relax. I'm confused.

Stephen: You've been thinking about Colin again, haven't you?

Troy: Colin.

Stephen: That people might be making comparisons between the two of you because of what you --

Troy: I'm not Colin.

Stephen: In your life.

Troy: I'm not Colin.

Stephen: No, of course you're not Colin. Just because Colin was a psychopath does not mean that you are a serial killer.

Troy: Colin made me kill Claire. Colin made me -- I -- I didn't do it. I didn't do it. I didn't kill those women. Tell Nora. I didn't kill those women.

Evangeline: So, are we good?

Jordan: All I can say is I'd be insulted if you actually asked that question out loud.

Evangeline: I'm so glad because I don't know what I would do if I didn't have you to talk to. You know, I have this case right now, and I'm starting to wonder if I shouldn't have taken it, and I -- I have this client, and I can't say who, but I think my client might be guilty.

Jordan: Crystal ball says it may be Todd Manning? Yeah, I even heard that he has a prior rape conviction.

Evangeline: It was a horrible rape Jordan; it was a gang rape at Llanview University.

Jordan: Oh, God.

Evangeline: And it was a very long time ago, but I guess you can't have lived in this town without having heard about it.

Jordan: Well, actually, I didn't hear it anywhere around here. I heard it from the victim herself.

Evangeline: Marty Saybrooke?

Jordan: Yeah.

Evangeline: How do you know her?

Jordan: She worked at the hospital in L.A. where I did my residency. You know, she bounced back. She's doing great. She's a psychiatrist now.

Kevin: You got something to say, say it or take a walk.

David: Your wife should be the one to tell you.

Kevin: You want to tell me what that's about?

Kelly: You know David. He's just trying to get a rise out of you.

Kevin: All right, look, you have to level with me here. Vickers has been trying to hang around you for months now. Now, what's going on?

Kelly: Nothing.

Kevin: Nothing? Look, if he has something on you, tell me.

Kelly: He doesnít. Relax.

Kevin: All right, look, I just don't want somebody like him to come between us, okay? After everything we've been through --

Kelly: Then let's not let him.

Kevin: I'm going to ask you a question, and I want you to be honest with me. Are you really pregnant?

Todd: Blair? Hey, can you hear me? Blair? You fainted. Get up.

Blair: What happened? No, I'm all right.

Todd: No, you're not.

Blair: I'm all right --

Todd: No --

Blair: Now. I'm fine! Just got to -- I got to get to Starr. She needs me.

Todd: No, I'm taking you to the hospital.

Blair: No -- no, Todd.

Kevin: Can't believe I reacted to Vickers that way.

Kelly: Oh, you know David. He tries to make everything into a big conspiracy.

Kevin: Doesn't mean I have to fall for it.

Kelly: Listen -- I don't want you to have any more doubts about me. Not about me or this baby.

Kevin: Kelly, I don't have any doubts.

Kelly: I want you to talk to the doctor. She should be calling back any time now.

[Phone rings]

Kevin: It's not necessary.

Kelly: Oh -- oh, too late. I bet this is her.

Kelly: Yep, it is. Hello. Hi, Dr. Brock. No, no, no, I'm fine. I'm feeling great, actually. But my husband is kind of a worrier.

Kevin: Oh --

Kelly: I was wondering if you could talk to him. Yeah. Okay, cool. Hang on one sec.

Kevin: Dr. Brock --

Kelly: Mm-hmm.

Kevin: Yeah, Dr. Brock, it's Kevin Buchanan. Yeah, well, thank you. We're very happy. Listen, I'm really just concerned about Kellyís health here. I mean, are we talking about a life-or-death situation, or -- or what's the deal? No, absolutely. Taking care of herself's going to be the number one priority. I'll see to it. Yes. No, really, this -- this helps a lot. I'm just -- just the overprotective husband, that's all, and father. All right. And thanks for clearing that up. I'll talk to you later. We're having a baby.

Kelly: I know.

Kevin: No more doubts, huh?

Kelly: No more doubts.

Evangeline: I can't thank you enough. The fact that you would even consider this is incredible.

Evangeline: Yes, you're right. If Blair is misrepresenting or even misremembering what happened that night, then it has to come out. When I think of all the rape victims who never got their day in court because they were too terrified to come forward -- yes, a number of people have told me that, that Todd really has changed and that he's learned from his mistakes. Well, you'll make your own evaluation when you get here, but I honestly believe that Todd did not deliberately hurt Blair. He says he loves her, and I believe him.

Todd: Just sit down.

Blair: All right.

Todd: I'll get a doctor. Doctor!

Jordan: Yeah.

Todd: Hey. You need to look at my wife right now. She's been having these really bad headaches --

Blair: No, you know what? I'm fine.

Todd: And --

Blair: It's just stress. I'm just worried.

Todd: She just fainted.

Blair: No, I just --

Jordan: You just fainted?

Blair: It's stress. It's stress.

Jordan: It's possible it could be stress. That sounds like the symptoms, but let's have a look at you to be sure.

Todd: Well, whatever you're going to do, do it right now, please.

Jordan: Just calm down. This is a hospital, if you don't mind. You have any trouble breathing?

Blair: No.

Jordan: Any palpitations? Nurse Bryce?

Nurse Bryce: Yes, Doctor?

Jordan: One second. Could I have an examine room for Ms. Cramer, please?

Nurse Bryce: Yes, right away.

Jordan: We're just going to look at you real fast.

Blair: All right.

Jordan: Okay? Try to relax.

Todd: Hey, go do your job. She's in a lot of pain.

Blair: Todd Ė

Troy: I didn't kill them! Nora, listen to me! Please, I'm innocent.

Nurse: Here we go.

Troy: Nora -- I know, Nora.

Stephen: When you left the room, he became hysterical.

Troy: I know who the -- I know who the killer is. Nora, I know who the killer is. I know. I know.

On the next "One Life to Live" --

Todd: Talk to me. What -- what happened? What's wrong?

Jen: I've been thinking about you.

Al: Why?

Lindsay: She's going to think you're just doing this to get to her.

Rex: Is that what you think?

John: Maybe he's running scared.

Antonio: Well, let's just hope he makes a mistake soon.

Jessica: Hello? Anyone there?
