Daniel: We have a serial killer out there. I don't want to see anybody taking any coffee breaks or having little chitchats by the water cooler until we catch this guy. Is that understood? Thank you.

Bo: What's this?

Nora: My resignation. I refuse to work for that man.

Gabrielle: Hey, Marcie.

Marcie: Hi.

Gabrielle: Congratulations are in order. I hear that you really helped Matthew out, even saved him.

Marcie: Oh, yeah. Well, we just got him out of the way of a truck, you know? Everything -- everything else was fine.

Gabrielle: Everything else is OK?

Marcie: Yeah -- um -- Al -- he's gone. He's really gone. He's -- he's not coming back.

Gabrielle: Yeah. Please don't say that again. Don't say it.

Al: Luna? Luna, come on, I know you're here. Luna!

Luna: Shh! Please, would you calm down? Do you want them to carry you away in a straitjacket?

Al: I'm going to the police station, I'm going to see Marcie, and I'm going to tell her that it's me, OK? Not some guy called Michael McBain who would be dead if Marcie didnít save him.

Luna: No, Al, that is not going to happen.

Al: Jess -- Jessie. Jess! Jessica? It's me.

John: You wanted to see me?

Antonio: Yeah, yeah. Evangeline Williamson's a local lawyer. I'm going to be doing some P.I. work for her. Didnít want you to freak out when you find out about my new assignment.

John: Why would I?

Antonio: I'm going to be checking into the music box murders.

[Antonio sighs]

Kevin: I hired Ms. Williamson to make sure that our names aren't dragged through the Elyssa Collins murder investigation.

Kelly: Yeah. Yeah, since you hired Elyssa Collins as a P.I. That's good.

Kevin: Right. Yeah. Yeah, that's why she needs a timeline from each of us.

Evangeline: Please understand neither of you are suspects, but this kind of information will keep the F.B.I. from coming to you with questions.

Kevin: All right, well, all my time's accounted for here from Halloween to last night.

Evangeline: OK.

Kevin: Kel?

Kelly: Yeah.

Evangeline: Um -- Mrs. Buchanan?

Kelly: Yeah?

Evangeline: You left a 16-hour period blank.

Kevin: Sweetheart?

Kelly: Um -- I was in Mexico with David Vickers.

David: Oh, what's the matter with you? You wake up on the wrong side of the bed?

Dorian: Someone just told me that Harrison Brooks spent last night with Viki.

David: Oh, no! How dare he.

Dorian: I had the governor eating out of my hand on election night, and now I found out he -- he spends an intimate evening with Viki at Llanfair?

David: You're all upset. What are you going to do?

Dorian: Hmm.

Todd: You have to come to my wedding. I need you at my side when I marry Blair.

Viki: Why?

Todd: Because I need a sister.

Jessica: Do I -- do I know you?

Al: Of course you know me! It's me, Michael! Michael McBain! It -- it's Michael! Michael, Michael, Michael!

Jessica: OK, I -- I think that you have me confused with somebody --

Al: No, I -- she didnít -- she didnít know who I was!

Luna: Come here. Come on. That is who the world sees, sweetheart. Michael, not Al.

Al: I couldn't even say my name.

Luna: That's because it's not your name anymore, honey bunch. You needed a body, Michael needed a soul. But you canít make him do things.

Al: Why not?

Luna: Because you're him! You've got his life, his background, his memories, you drive his car --

Al: No, you know what? You're wrong, OK? I can make Marcie see that it's me. You just watch.

Luna: But you --

John: No, I'm not freaking out. I just want to catch this guy. So if you've got something --

Antonio: Random facts, just like you. Although, I -- I know the shrink in town. She has some experience when it comes to serial murders.

John: A shrink? OK. Let's have a talk with your shrink.

Rae: Gabrielle. Hey, hi.

Gabrielle: Hi.

Rae: Oh, honey. How are you holding up? Not so good, huh?

Gabrielle: Hmm, it depends on the day, the hour, the minute, the second.

Rae: You know what? If you ever want to just sit down and talk -- you know, and it can be about anything -- I would really welcome that.

Gabrielle: Thank you. I will keep that in mind.

Rae: OK. OK.

Gabrielle: I'm sorry. You didnít deserve that. I'm very sorry.

Marcie: No --

Gabrielle: I know he's not coming back. I just -- whew! -- Just hearing it -- I don't want to hear it.

Marcie: I didnít mean to upset you.

Gabrielle: It's OK. How are you managing?

Marcie: Managing what?

Gabrielle: I mean, how are you accepting that he --

Marcie: I haven't.

Gabrielle: That you're not going to see him and you're not going to be with him? But you're coping. I see you coping --

Marcie: Coping? Do you call this coping? I canít even get any of my work done. I have -- I'm on autopilot. Something happens, I react. Matthew was in trouble, I saved him. I don't -- I don't know how. But there's -- there's not a moment that I'm not thinking about him, feeling his presence and missing him.

Gabrielle: Me, too.

Marcie: But I want to stop. I want to stop missing him. I want to stop feeling the pain of not having him in my life. I think that I'm losing my mind. I canít accept this. I canít accept that he's gone. I canít accept that he's not coming back.

[Knock on door]

Bo: Did you hear me say "come on in"?

Daniel: You know we have a big case on the table, right?

Nora: Hello, Daniel.

Daniel: Hello, Nora. Look, Commissioner, I need you to light a fire under your men. We need to bring this killer in before the F.B.I. does.

Bo: Colson, we are working with the F.B.I. on this.

Daniel: Yeah, but if we crack this case, it'll put the L.P.D. on the map.

Nora: That's funny, I thought we already were on the map. Isn't the L.P.D. on the map?

Bo: You don't care anything about this department. The only thing you care about is making a name for yourself statewide -- hell, nationwide.

Daniel: You're right. You're right, I do want to solve the music box case. I thought you did, too. Nora.

Nora: Daniel. Where's my resignation letter? Where is it? Right now. Where is it?

Bo: It's in the tray right there under mine.

Nora: Yours? You're quitting?

Bo: I thought about it, but I canít quit on all my people out here.

Nora: Sure, you can. Absolutely. We'll all ride off into the sunset together -- you, me, the whole L.P.D.

Bo: You know, you canít quit any more than I can quit. I think if we both work together here we can at least run this place with some semblance of integrity.

Nora: With him?

[Knock on door]

Bo: Come in.

Nora: Oh -- a friendly face.

Bo: Glad to see you.

Nora: All right, I'm going back to the salt mines. See you. Bye-bye, Gabrielle.

Gabrielle: Bye.

Bo: You're here a little early, but what the heck. Let's just go to lunch now.

Gabrielle: I don't think I'm going to be able to go through with lunch today. I need to cancel.

Bo: Why?

Gabrielle: I've taken your advice, and I'm going to meet with Rae Cummings, I think.

Bo: Honey -- hey, that's great. Look, she's going to be able to help you, I just know it.

Viki: Walker, you -- you said you need a sister, but I am not your sister, am I? My brother is Todd.

Todd: Uh-uh, he's gone. You told Blair to forget about him.

Viki: I told Blair not to live in the past.

Todd: No, listen to me. You and I have something -- I don't know what it is -- it's a connection. If it weren't for what you said to me in that mausoleum, there wouldn't be a wedding. You've been good to me -- you're more family than my brothers ever were.

Viki: I grant you that I feel close to you, and I'm convinced that's because you were so nice to Jessica when Mitch was alive.

Todd: Jessica is my niece, Jessica is family. With you, it's like a feeling. I need you. You make me feel like I broke that curse.

Viki: Well, now, isn't that interesting? You see, that's exactly what Todd would've said. He felt that our father had cursed him.

Todd: Maybe it's going around. What is it? OK, now you're starting to creep me out a little bit.

Viki: Why were you at Father's grave?

Viki: Thank you.

Todd: Mm-hmm.

Viki: Your feelings for Blair seem to have developed rather quickly.

Todd: Hmm. She's everything I ever wanted.

Viki: What about her children? They're Todd's children.

Todd: Oh, hey, now, I love those kids. I want us to be a family. Nothing is more important to me than protecting Jessica. I need you at my side when I marry Blair.

Viki: Why?

Todd: Because I need a sister. Come on, Viki, say yes.

Viki: And you're wearing Father's ring.

Todd: I'm sorry. I shouldn't have --

Viki: Todd?

Dorian: Wait a minute, this is it. This is it!

David: What is it?

Dorian: This is a -- a picture of the house the way it used to look in 1925 when it was built. And you see? It's -- it's surrounded by beautiful birch trees?

David: "Birch Grove."

Dorian: Birch Grove, yes, that's the name that the house used to have. So I will call it La Bouleau.

David: Oh, is that French for "pretentious"?

Dorian: Bete -- that's French for "stupid," really stupid. La Bouleau, it's a beautiful name. La Bouleau.

David: So your idea to fight Viki for the governor is to name your house?

Dorian: Don't you see? He's only interested in Viki because of her lineage, her title, and that stuffy old mansion of hers -- Llanfair? I mean, really. It sounds like the name of an agricultural exposition.

David: Yeah, it does, doesn't it?

Dorian: You could do me a favor -- help find me a contractor. Yeah, I plan to put a new wing on the house -- no, two wings. Yes. And, you see in the picture, there used to be a circular drive and a fountain in the center. I'll do a reflecting pool. I'll -- I'll bring the house back to its former glory. La Bouleau.

Starr: You're making the house bigger? Everyone moved out on you, Dorian. The only people that live here are River and that new guy.

David: Charming.

Dorian: Yes. When is your mother coming to pick you up?

Starr: I don't know, but you know what? When she does come back, she'd better have a wedding date. You know, I hear things. I'm not deaf, you know. They'd better have a date for that wedding. I swear, I'll do something!

Dorian: Such a strange, strange child.

David: So, listen, what do you make of Walker, anyway?

Dorian: Hmm, I think this is all happening way too fast, but, hmm, then again, I kind of promised Kelly that I would give Blair my blessing.

David: Why? What does Kelly care?

Dorian: She wants to make sure that Blair is out of reach -- Kevin's reach.

Kevin: You went to Mexico with Vickers to buy an illegal baby, and I had to find out in front of Evangeline Williamson?

Kelly: That is all you care about? Typical.

Kevin: Did you think you could waltz in here with a baby and make everything OK?

Kelly: I came to my senses, if that is any consolation.

Kevin: Do you really want a baby that much, or is this just another way for you to avoid a divorce?

Kelly: I was willing to risk my life to get pregnant, and I still am.

[Doorbell rings]

Kevin: This has got to stop.

[Kelly sighs]

Kevin: Blair.

Blair: Hey!

Kevin: Hey.

Blair: I'm so glad I caught the two of you. I've some really good news!

Kelly: Yeah?

Blair: Walker and I are getting married.

Todd: OK, sis. You got me. Are you angry?

Viki: I don't know. You're alive?

Todd: Yes.

Viki: Why didnít you tell me?

Todd: It felt kind of good -- you know, hearing from you that I wasn't so bad. I didnít get that a lot when I was me.

Viki: What happened to you?

Todd: Well -- you know how I am. I hated Mitch. I hated what he did to you and what he did to Jessica, and I wanted some way to get back at him, some way to bring him down. But I was so messed up -- Blair -- she didnít want anything to do with me.

Viki: Again.

Todd: Right. And Mitch and his -- and his monkeys just threw me in that crypt. Blair almost found me.

Viki: In the mausoleum?

Todd: Mm-hmm. Mitch's goons beat me to a pulp.

[Car door closes]

[Tires screech]

Todd: They dumped me in the middle of nowhere and left me for dead. But I wasn't going to let that freak win.

[Car accelerates]

Todd: Maybe it was our old man, Victor, looking out for me.

[Tires screech]

Todd: I hear a car. Amazing. Some nurse. Next thing I know, they're stitching me back together. More or less like Frankenstein. And that's when I started checking things out. I tracked down that Mitch had a brother. Some greedy, little rat who hated people and was willing to sell his face.

Todd: And I figured out how to get rid of Mitch with maximum pain and suffering, and as soon as I could.

Todd: And then I came home, and I tried to make my life the way it used to be, any way that I could.

Viki: So, why are you telling me this now?

Rae: The key really is finding out how all these women are connected. Now, it's possible that he doesn't even know all of them. So, what is the pattern here?

Bo: Well, we're working on it, Rae.

Rae: You know, I would be happy to go over the evidence again, if you think that's necessary. Although, today I have to go to Philly. I've got an all-day conference.

Bo: You're going to Philly now?

Rae: Why? You need me to stay?

Bo: No. No, I think we're off to a good start here. Thank you.

Rae: OK. Great. I'll see you guys later, then. All right.

Antonio: Here, let me get that for you.

Rae: Oh, thank you.

John: I'll check in with the field office, OK?

Bo: Yeah.

Antonio: Bother you that I'm working on the case with Evangeline?

Bo: No. No, no, no. I mean, this guy's a sick animal that preys on women, and whatever we have to do, we're going to get him off the street.

Antonio: OK, good. I'll see you later, Commissioner.

Nora: Bye.

Antonio: Nora.

Nora: Plans for lunch?

Bo: No, I did have, but Gabrielle canceled all of a sudden. The excuse that she gave me -- it doesn't quite add up.

Nora: Well, that's weird.

Bo: Yeah. Something's going on.

Al: Hey.

Gabrielle: Excuse me?

Al: Um -- I work at the hospital. I'm an intern? And I knew your son.

Gabrielle: Oh. Yes, I'm -- forgive me, I think I remember you now. You were in his room once or twice, right?

Al: Yeah. Right. Do you want some company?

Gabrielle: No, thank you. Thank you very much. I'd like to be alone, if you don't mind.

Al: Hey, Marcie.

Marcie: Hi, Michael. How are you doing?

Al: Um -- I'm good. Great, actually, thanks to you. You know, I -- I made you something. I think you'll like it.

Marcie: Hmm. Thanks.

Al: Aren't you going to listen to it?

Marcie: Now?

Al: It's kind of important.

[Music plays]

[Marcie skips to next song]

[Next song]

[Next song]

Kelly: I am so happy for you --

Blair: I know!

Kelly: And there is nothing that we would do to mess up your marriage. Nothing.

Blair: Thank you.

Kelly: Right, Kevin?

Kevin: Of course not, no. Congratulations.

Blair: Well, thank you. And you two, be happy. I'll see myself out.

[Kelly sighs]

Kelly: Don't you dare tell her that Walker is Todd. Got it?

[Doorbell rings]

Harrison: I have good news and bad news. Which do you want to hear first?

Kevin: Well, if you wouldn't mind, I could use some good news.

Todd: Blair and the kids -- we're going to be a family again for good this time, and I need you. You're the only thing I need left.

Viki: Oh -- no. Come on, you left a few things out.

Todd: Just believe me.

Viki: No. Come on, you let me grieve for all these months. You had innumerable chances to tell me the truth, you didnít. Why now?

Todd: Lonely. It does. It really gets lonely not being yourself.

Viki: Well, you didnít have to.

Todd: Well, it feels good now that you know.

Viki: Oh, you haven't told Blair.

Todd: I told Starr.

Viki: You told Starr?

Todd: Yes.

Viki: Boy, you really are back. You canít ask a child to carry a secret like that.

Todd: She's thrilled about it.

Viki: Well, of course she's -- oh, I get it, I get it. You're here because you're afraid.

Todd: No.

Viki: You always come to me when you're about to make a mistake.

Todd: Marrying Blair is not a mistake.

Viki: It is if she doesn't know who you are. Are you never going to learn?

Todd: I got my family back. This is the only way to do it, Viki.

Viki: OK, OK, fine -- what happens when she finds out?

Todd: You're not going to tell her. I trust you.

Viki: Todd, you canít keep this hidden forever.

Todd: I have to.

Viki: No! It's going to come out!

Todd: No! Blair told me. She said she'd never forgive me. She loves Todd, she canít be with him. This is the only way. I have to have her back. This is the only way it's going to happen.

Viki: Well, that's insane, OK? Because this is how you pushed her away in the first place.

Todd: Oh, please! Don't you tell her. I've waited too long to be happy. Don't you tell her. Don't take this away from me.

[Doorbell rings]

Blair: Hi, Viki. So, are you coming to the wedding?

Viki: I'm -- I'm not sure. I don't actually know if I can make it.

Blair: Why? Is something wrong?

Jessica: Hi, everybody.

Blair: Well, hello, beautiful girl.

Todd: Hey, there. How's my favorite niece?

Jessica: Well, I'm happy to see you, and I'm your only niece. I heard about what happened. Are you OK?

Todd: Yeah, fine.

Jessica: Good.

Todd: I feel like I got a second chance at life, and I'm going to do it right this time.

Blair: Yeah, guess what -- he's going to marry me.

Jessica: Congratulations!

Blair: Thank you. Thank you so much.

Jessica: Wow. Congratulations.

Todd: You're coming, right?

Jessica: Um -- well, yeah. I wouldn't miss it for the world, right, Mom?

Viki: Oh, if we can, we will be there.

Blair: OK, guess what weíve got to do next -- tell Dorian. Let's go.

Jessica: I'm so excited!

Viki: You have to tell her. It's the right thing to do.

Blair: Of course. Right, right, right.

Jessica: Bye.

Blair: Come on, handsome.

Viki: Well, I have missed having you here, do you know that?

Jessica: I missed you, too. But being with Antonio -- it's pretty perfect.

Viki: Is it?

Jessica: Yeah.

Viki: Good. No bumps in the road, then, huh?

Jessica: No, we're actually -- we're closer than ever. And Jamie is -- she's just a little miracle.

Viki: Well, I'm very glad you're happy, sweetheart.

Jessica: Are you OK?

Viki: Yes, yes. Yeah, I'm fine, actually. Jessie, life is so strange. You just never know what's going to happen. I wish Ben were here.

Jessica: Yeah, he'd help you figure things out.

Viki: Yes, he would.

Jessica: But, you know, Mom, he -- he would also want you to find somebody to talk to.

Viki: So, last night, Harrison Brooks kissed me.

Harrison: The good news -- as of today, you'll be making the keynote speech at the party convention at Saranac.

Kevin: Well, how'd you manage that?

Harrison: Well, now the bad news -- see, there was a favor involved. A giveback.

Kevin: On?

Harrison: Well, I'm going to veto the power company legislation.

Kevin: You traded more favors with Dawes?

Harrison: That's how it works.

[Kevin sighs]

Kevin: Look, that bill is the only way for the power companies to stop --

Harrison: You need the exposure.

Kevin: Well, that can wait.

Harrison: Not really. I mean, all you are is a political favor to Asa Buchanan. When you prove you deserve to be in the office, then you can push through any bill you want.

Kevin: Yeah, but I didnít want to do it like this.

Harrison: Kevin, give the speech, be a leader. Make the party sit up and take notice. Hey, you got one shot, make it work.

Paul: Here you go.

Dorian: Oh, thank you. You see, I got a genealogy website, and I punched in "Cramer" and now we will find out whether we've got royalty in the family.

David: Dorian, I'm putting on an art show. It's going to pay big, but I need cash upfront. Now, come on, I found that contractor for you, didnít I?

Dorian: Mm-hmm. You're probably getting a rake-off from both sides. Sorry, dear, if you came here to get more money from me, you might as well leave.

David: You know, what do you want with some fuddy-duddy old governor when you got me, baby?

Dorian: Because he's a governor and you're nothing but a sweet-talking con man. Try being a gentleman, like Paul here.

David: Oh, I don't think we've seen Paul's true colors yet.

Dorian: Hmm. Ignore him.

Starr: Excuse me. I need 20 bucks for the cab. I'm going home.

[Dorian gasps]

Dorian: Excuse me.

[Doorbell rings]

Starr: That'd be them.

Dorian: Oh, I worry about that child. She is so -- but it's not her fault, really. It's in the genes, you know? Her father was Todd.

Paul: But he's dead, right?

Dorian: Yes.

[Dorian chuckles]

Dorian: Amen.

Starr: So, are you getting married?

Blair: Yeah.

[Starr squeals]

[Blair laughs]

Starr: Yes!

Al: What did you think?

Marcie: What do I think? I think that you're a creep and that you're playing with everything that I cherished the most about Al. Those were exactly the same songs that he recorded for me. How could you possibly even know about that?

Al: Well, maybe we like the same things. Maybe he and I are very similar.

Marcie: No, I don't think so.

Al: You know, maybe if you like him, you should like me, too.

Marcie: I don't think so!

Al: Wait! Wait! Wait! You -- you love these songs.

Marcie: What kind of a game are you playing with me?

Al: What is wrong with you, Marcie?

Marcie: With me? You're the one who's acting crazy.

Al: Why is this happening?

Harrison: From my daughter's garden. The last of the season.

Viki: Well, they're beautiful. Thank you so much.

Harrison: Viki, I want to apologize for last night. I hope I wasn't out of line.

Viki: No, no. I just want things to be clear.

Harrison: Oh, they are. Are you OK?

Viki: Yeah, I -- I just had some news.

Harrison: Bad news?

Viki: No, no, not bad -- unexpected.

Harrison: Oh. Well, this will cheer you up. Kevin just agreed to make the keynote speech at the convention in Saranac. And if you'd like to come as my guest, I'd be happy to fly you there in my plane.

Viki: May I think about it?

Harrison: Of course. I'd love to have you there.

Viki: Thank you.

Harrison: But if you canít make it, I'll understand. Enjoy the flowers.

Viki: Thank you very much.

Jessica: Hey, where did those come from?

Viki: Harrison Brooks, from his daughter's garden. She lives nearby.

Jessica: Hmm.

Viki: Guess it's my day for visitors.

Jessica: Mom, who else came by? What's wrong?

Viki: Nothing is actually wrong. I mean, it's a good day. It's actually a wonderful day.

Jessica: Because the governor brought you flowers?

Viki: No. Jessie -- I don't know what to do about this.

Jessica: Well, I know what you'd tell me to do. You would say, "Jessie, the world can be a cold and lonely place, and sometimes you have to jump in with both feet, no matter how scared you are."

Viki: Sounds vaguely familiar.

Jessica: Mm-hmm. You know, Mom, I loved Ben. He was an incredible man. But, you know, you've been waiting for him to wake up for over a year now. And all the doctors agree. They're not -- they don't think that's going to happen. And Harrison makes you happy right now.

Viki: Yeah.

Jessica: And, you know, I've been thinking. With what happened with Cris and with Todd and Walker almost dying -- we have really incredible people in our lives, and we should hold on to them while we still can.

Starr: Oh, guess what -- Mom and Walker are getting married.

Blair: Yes, we are!

Dorian: Oh, best wishes, sweetheart.

Starr: You know what? I'm going to go tell Jack this.

Dorian: Yeah.

Blair: Go. Thank you so much.

Dorian: And congratulations, Walker. I know that we haven't always seen eye to eye, but you make Blair happy.

Blair: And the kids absolutely adore him.

Al: What the hell's going on here? What did I do wrong?

Luna: Darling, it's very, very simple. Marcie doesn't want you pretending to be Al.

Al: I am al!

Luna: Well -- make her see that. Fight through Michael. You can do it. Marcie can be yours.

Al: You promise? OK. Bring it on, Michael McBain. You canít win without a soul. And I refuse to lose.

Marcie: Ron, this guy, Michael -- he's a creep. Yeah, he gets angry at the drop of a dime, I don't know. Yeah. Yeah, that's a good idea, OK. I'll have one of the cops talk to him if he bothers me again. I don't want him in my life, even if it takes a restraining order.

Kelly: I'm not going to Saranac with you. I've got things to do here.

Kevin: OK. Well, will you at least consider making an appearance tonight at my speech?

Kelly: Appearances? That's really all you're interested in, right?

Blair: You are the most wonderful, generous, handsome, super, sexy man in the whole world.

Todd: You're right.

Blair: I love you.

Woman: Ahem.

Paul: This is --

Dorian: Yes?

Woman: Betsy Cramer.

Dorian: Aunt Betsy?

Betsy: Thought I was dead, didnít you? Who are these people?

Dorian: Oh -- um, this my niece Blair --

Blair: Hello.

Dorian: Your grandniece. And this is her fiancť, Walker Laurence.

Todd: What's happening?

Dorian: They've just announced their engagement.

Blair: Yes.

Betsy: Marriage is always a miserable mistake.

Starr: It is not a miserable mistake.

Blair: Starr --

Starr: Get the picture?

Blair: Stop.

Betsy: Who's the brat?

Blair: Actually, my daughter, and she needs to get to school. You're going to be late, sweetheart, come on.

Starr: Why even bother?

Paul: Excuse me.

Dorian: Well, Aunt Betsy, to what do I owe this honor?

Betsy: Cut the horse manure. You haven't spoken to me for years.

Dorian: This morning I was actually thinking about calling you. I was looking into the family history.

Betsy: And you wanted to know whether I had kicked the bucket? Not yet, but soon. Get the family together. Somebody's going to get some very good news.

Bo: Gabrielle's been avoiding me a week. You know, if she's at home when I get there, she's asleep. Usually, she's -- she's gone. I don't know where she goes, what she's doing. She just shuts down.

Nora: Did something else happen?

Bo: I don't know. She didnít say anything. I thought when she moved back in, it meant that things were getting better, but --

Nora: Well, she's in pain, Bo. I mean, you can see that.

Daniel: Anything on the music box case?

Bo: Rae Cummings gave us a tentative profile --

Daniel: Whoa, whoa, wait, wait -- a shrink? How about putting some detectives on the street to look for some clues?

Bo: Would you like to see a duty roster?

Daniel: No, no. Just -- just keep doing what you're doing.

Nora: Let me see that resignation letter. Yep, yep, yep. Yep.

Bo: Change of heart?

Nora: I just cannot leave you alone to work with that man, that's all. OK. Bo, how about I -- how about I give Gabrielle a call, you know? Reach out to her a little bit? Would that be OK?

Bo: Yeah. I'd do anything to make things better.

Nora: Great. Well, consider it done.

Bo: Hey, Nora?

Nora: Yeah?

Bo: Thanks for everything.

Nora: Thank me if it works.

Viki: Harrison? Oh, hi, it's Viki. You know what? I'd love to come to Saranac to hear Kevin speak.

Blair: Hmm. What do you think's up with Viki? Why do you think she's so reluctant to come to our wedding?

Todd: Oh, I think that she misses her husband, and weddings make her sad.

Blair: Yeah. Ben -- he was a great guy. I wish you -- I wish you knew him. I don't see how she does it, and I am so lucky to have you.

[Blair giggles]

Blair: So, do you think that she will come?

Todd: I don't know. She knows I want her to.

Blair: You know, I like Viki, and she's great with the kids, but why does she mean so much to you?

Todd: I don't want to scare you off.

Blair: Please, that is completely -- oh! -- Impossible.

Todd: I swear, someday, Blair, when the time is right, I'll tell you everything.

Stay tuned for scenes from the next "One Life to Live."

Next on "One Life to Live" --

Gabrielle: I know what you're trying to do, Nora, and I do appreciate it.

Nora: Just hear me out, OK, please?

Natalie: Stop reaching out to me. I know you feel guilty. Deal with it.

Al: Come on, Marcie, please. Give me another chance.
