Previously on "One Life to Live" --
Lindsay: I was on the docks that night, making love to Troy.
Troy: I told you not to tell anyone about us. Now you're going to regret it.
Rex: That quickie divorce that you want? You can forget about it because you are never getting out of this marriage!
Blair: We're lucky that Bo didn't find any arsenic here because whoever's setting us up could have planted that.

Jessica: "I can help if you'll let me."
Cristian: He was outside the front door this morning. Friend of yours?
Jessica: I won him at the police fair. Antonio must have dropped him off.
Cristian: You know, Antonio left a couple of messages for you on the machine. Jess, listen, I understand why you want to hide out. You know, I kept Antonio away from you because I thought you might need some time to be alone. But I'm starting to feel like what you really need is Antonio.
Antonio: Jessica's not doing too well. I mean, Laurence put her through hell. You know, so now any time I try to talk to her or help her, she just pulls away!
Rae: How does that make you feel?
Antonio: I've tried to give her space.
Antonio: I mean, I've tried to be there for her. I've listened, I've talked to her, but now she won't even see me. I mean, what the hell did I do to make her shut me out?
Troy: Yeah, hi, this is Dr. MacIver. I'm calling to check on Lindsay Rappaport.
Sister Theresa: I haven't seen her yet today, Doctor.
Troy: Ah, OK. Well you know, I was over there last night checking on another patient, and I actually ran into Lindsay. Well, Sister, she seemed very agitated.
Sister Theresa: She was probably just anxious about her psychiatric evaluation today. If she's deemed mentally fit, she'll be reassigned as an outpatient.
Troy: Right. Wouldn't that be nice for her?
Nora: She's not going get released from here, not as long as she's claiming that she was down on the docks the night Mitch Laurence was murdered, making love to Troy MacIver.
Bo: Maybe it's true.
Nora: Are you kidding?
Bo: Are you kidding? As far as Troy MacIverís concerned, I don't take anything for granted anymore.
Nora: Yeah. Well --
Bo: Well, let's say he is still fooling around with Lindsay.
Nora: It's sick.
Bo: Well, it's reckless. Anybody finds out about that, he's going to lose his license.
Nora: He'd lose everything.
Bo: Yes, maybe he already has. No, Lindsay and Troy -- both of them -- far as I'm concerned, I'd give neither one of them the benefit of the doubt anymore.
Lindsay: Hey, you made it!
Jen: Of course.
Jen: How are you feeling?
Lindsay: OK. I didn't get any sleep. You know, I kept seeing your father.
Jen: You did?
Lindsay: In my nightmares. I know it wasnít real, you know.
Lindsay: I know you're father's dead. And I know why.
Jen: Don't go there, OK? You were out of your mind. Let's not talk about that.
Lindsay: Yeah, I'm doing much better since I've been in therapy and on my medication, as long as I keep taking it.
Jen: You're going to blow the doctor away today.
Lindsay: You know what, this might be the last time you come visit me here. You know what else? When I get out of here, I'm going to throw the biggest party for you to celebrate your marriage.
Jen: Well, maybe we should just have a quiet dinner to celebrate my divorce.
Jen: You were right. I was crazy to marry Rex. I'm in love with Joey Buchanan, and he loves me back.
Joey: What are you doing here?
Kevin: Checking in, seeing if you took my advice.
Kevin: Ms. Right -- or should I say, Mrs. Right?
Joey: Yeah. Actually, I went to see her. If you hadn't have convinced me --
Kevin: You'd be alone and miserable for the rest of your life. You're welcome. So, come on -- details.
Joey: Well, Jen and I want to be together, so we're going to.
Kevin: I may be a little rusty at this, but isn't that against some sort of commandment? Something about a curate and a married woman?
Joey: We're going to wait till the divorce goes through.
Kevin: Wait a minute. You've done it, haven't you?
Joey: Well, it's not going to happen again.
Kevin: Well, do you want it to? Make it easy on yourself. Leave the church. Come work for me at The Banner.
Blair: Kevin Buchanan is a total sleaze!
Walker: Hmm. "No sooner is Blair Cramer's name removed from the roster of suspects in the Mitch Laurence homicide than her aunt, Dorian Lord Laurence, takes her place at the top of the list."
Blair: I can't even believe that The Banner would print that!
Walker: "Sources say Mr. Laurence's widow lied to the police about her whereabouts at the time of the murder. A second source confirms that syringes from the same lot as the one used to drug Mr. Laurence were found in Mrs. --"
Blair: Pitiful! Pitiful, pitiful, pitiful!
Dorian: Did you see The Banner headline? "Dorian Lord -- Black Widow for a Second Time"? I'm being framed and libeled, and I know exactly who's behind this. ( Horn honks )
Antonio: Sorry about the glass.
Rae: Forget it. It's fine.
Antonio: It's just I can't get through to her, and it's so damn frustrating.
Rae: And that makes you kind of angry, doesn't it?
Antonio: Hell, yes, it makes me angry. Wouldn't it make you angry? I mean, Jessica's not OK, and there's nothing I can do about it.
Rae: Tell me how you feel about Mitch Laurence.
Antonio: If the commissioner hadn't pulled me off, I would've killed him myself.
Rae: And R.J. Gannon?
Antonio: I hate his guts. Do you have any idea how many crimes R.J. Gannon has gotten away with? He let me believe that Keri and my baby were dead. He forced Keri to lie to me!
Rae: You're sure that he forced her?
Antonio: Yes! R.J. Gannon's scum, and so is Laurence. I don't have a problem being angry at them.
Rae: Antonio, were you angry at the glass when you broke it?
Antonio: Of course not.
Rae: You know, it's a funny thing about glass. It's tough enough to -- to withstand extreme hot, cold, wind, rain. You can bang it around for years with very little effect on it.
Antonio: Why in the hell are you talking to me about a glass?
Rae: Even though the glass was not the target of your anger, it was hurt by it, wasn't it?
Antonio: I said I was sorry.
Rae: All I'm trying to say is no matter how tough they seem, fragile things can be broken.
Jessica: Keri and his baby just came back. Antonio and I both have way too much to deal with to even think about getting together.
Cristian: Sounds like a cop-out to me.
Jessica: I can't, Cristian. Not with Keri back.
Cristian: Jess, Keri and Antonio are over.
Jessica: She's the mother of his baby. He's got to give it a chance.
Cristian: All right. But for what it's worth, Natalie and I think that you and Antonio are good for each other. And you're welcome to stay here as long as you like.
Jessica: Yeah, right. You guys are dying to get this place to yourselves.
Cristian: That, too.
Jessica: I know. I know I can't hide out from Antonio forever, so I'll talk to him.
Cristian: All right, I got to go to work. Here.
Cristian: I hope everything works out with you and Antonio.
Adriana: Rio Carpintero.
River: Oh, sounds good the way you say that.
Adriana: Carlotta told me never to speak to you again. If she catches us talking --
River: Well, I'm just out taking a walk, and you are obviously working, so -- got anything good in there?
Adriana: I guess she can't really blame us for bumping into each other by accident.
River: It wasn't by accident. I've been wandering around all day trying to bump into you.
Joey: You're pretty sure of yourself, drawing up a contract before you even made me an offer.
Kevin: I needed a photographer. You're qualified.
Joey: I already have a job.
Kevin: Yeah, but you're not sold on it. I can tell. And we really need a new look at The Banner.
Joey: You know what, Kev, I haven't been in photography for a long time.
Kevin: Yeah, but you're a great photographer. And you shouldn't waste your talent.
Joey: No, thanks. I love what I do here. And, you know, I make a difference for a lot of people.
Kevin: You remember the first time your work appeared on the front page?
Joey: Yeah, that high-rise fire. It was the last that fireman's family ever saw of him.
Kevin: You don't think that made a difference to those people?
Joey: Yeah, yeah, I'm sure it made a difference. It's just -- I don't know. I mean here, it's -- I can dig in, you know? Really help people with their problems and put them back on track. It's not anonymous like a photo.
Kevin: And what about your life? You come work for me, you can be with Jen right now.
Joey: You know, the Commandments are still for lay people, too.
Kevin: You sure about that?
Joey: That's one thing I'm very sure of. And so are you, even if you don't like to think about it.
Kevin: Yeah, well --
Joey: Well, Jen is meeting with a divorce lawyer today. Soon she'll be free to be with me. Until then, I'll wait. Once I have her and the job, I'll have everything that's important to me.
Kevin: You and I have very different ideas about whatís important. I hope we both get what we want.
Joey: What do you want?
Blair: Dorian, that is totally ridiculous.
Dorian: No, it's not. Who hated Mitch more than anyone? And who hates me so much they'd want to set me up? Viki! And if it isn't Viki, then who?
Blair: Well, you had motive and opportunity, and you do have a flair for the dramatic.
Dorian: Oh, great. Now we're back to that. Pinning it on me, huh?
Blair: Oh, no, come on. Even you aren't clumsy enough to leave the evidence around.
Dorian: Thank you.
Walker: I do hope they find the right suspect soon. I just hate to see you two quarreling like this.
Blair: Well, Walker is right. We should stick together.
Walker: On that note, I have a story to write.
Dorian: Hmm. OK, so, what are we going to do?
Blair: We're going to find out who Kevin's sources are.
Dorian: Well, good. That was just my lawyer.
Dorian: And no problema. No one can connect me to the scene of the crime or the bottle of arsenic or even put the syringe in my hand.
Blair: Wonderful! What are you doing here?
Kevin: Well, I just came by to congratulate you on being cleared of Laurence's murder.
Blair: Well, you can start by printing an apology right on your front page for the article you printed about me, Kevin.
Dorian: And how you dare you libel me like this?
Kevin: Well, how about we debate it tonight over dinner?
Blair: Ha! Dinner? I can't even stand to be in the same room as you.
Dorian: Does Kelly know that you invite other women out to dinner, hmm?
Kevin: We're family, Dorian.
Dorian: Oh, yes? Well, this is not the way you treat family. And believe me, when Kelly finds out about --
Kevin: Kelly supports me completely.
Blair: Really? Then why isn't she here? Hmm?
Walker: Blair, I need you to sign off on this before Ė Oh, sorry. Am I interrupting something?
Blair: We're running a real newspaper here, Kevin. It's called The Sun. So, would you mind leaving?
Kevin: I'm sorry, it's the first time I've ever heard "The Sun" and "real newspaper" used in the same sentence.
Blair: Get out of here!
Kevin: Actually, I came by for another reason.
Dorian: I can't wait to hear this.
Kevin: I need a place to live, and I thought since Todd's penthouse is open --
Blair: I rented it.
Walker: To me.
Adriana: Thank you for helping me find the address. I don't know my way around yet.
River: Well, if your godmother has it her way, you'll be wearing an electronic bracelet, too.
Adriana: A what?
River: What I mean is Ms. Vega keeps you on a very tight leash.
Adriana: Oh, she doesn't even let me listen to my own music in the house. She changes the station.
River: Oh -- here, wait. Check this out. Here.
Adriana: What is this?
River: This is my mp3 player. Watch.
Adriana: Oh -- it sounds great!
River: You don't have to shout. It's OK. Shh.
Adriana: What? What?
River: Never mind. Hey, this is Midnight Logic. They hang out in the Square all the time. This is just some stuff I pulled off the radio. Listen to this one.
Carlotta: Mi amor, mirame. Go back to the diner and wait for me. Ahora mismo!
River: Ms. Vega --
Carlotta: Shh! You're coming with me.
Nora: Dr. Boer, Lindsay's evaluation directly affects our investigation of the Laurence homicide.
Dr. Bonner: Listen, I am only interested in my patient's mental condition. Your criminal investigation has no bearing on my evaluation.
Lindsay: If I get released --
Jen: When you get released. OK? I need you with me.
Lindsay: When I get released, maybe I can make sense out of my life, too.
Jen: You could talk to Joey. He's an incredible listener. He's actually the most amazing man I've ever met in my life. Which reminds me, I need to go see my lawyer right now. I could change it if you need me to be here.
Lindsay: No, no, no, no. You go. Go and get a divorce and be with the man that you love.
Jen: You sure?
Lindsay: I've never been more sure or more sane in my life.
Troy: "Lucitonin -- used to stimulate brain activity. In healthy patients, may cause hallucinations, delusions, and other more severe manifestations of psychosis."
Blair: Well, this is very good, Walker. Hard-hitting, accurate.
Kevin: Every fact in The Banner is checked. If you can show me an inaccuracy, I will be happy to retract it.
Dorian: Every word in that article is vicious, horrible lies!
Kevin: Are you saying you didn't tell the police that your car broke down?
Dorian: Yes, I did.
Kevin: And would the police be lying when they said the garage found your car to be in perfect working order? And would it be inaccurate to say that syringes were found on your property?
Walker: Hey! Buchanan --
Walker: Leave Dorian alone.
Kevin: Oh, I'm sorry. I'm a newspaperman. I report the news. What do you do?
Blair: In your opinion.
Kevin: I didn't make up one word of that story, and you know it. And when Dorian's arrested for murder, I'll report that in the same impartial manner.
Blair: Dorian is not going to be arrested. I'm willing to bet on it.
Kevin: Well, I'll take that bet. And when I win, you can buy me dinner. Deal?
Antonio: I'm a cop. I stop people from committing crimes, or I arrest them when they do. Sometimes it gets violent. I can't help that. Well, say something. Tell me what I'm supposed to do.
Rae: That's not my job.
Antonio: Well, then ask me one of your questions!
Rae: All right. Do you think that anger works anywhere in your life? You know, like work or with Jessica?
Antonio: OK, I get it.
Rae: I think that your frustration, Antonio, is because you feel you can't do something, and then you become violent. Now, I'm not saying that you can't be angry because you can. But when it starts to be that the anger controls you and not vice versa, you have a problem.
Antonio: And then I take it too far.
Antonio: Well, then I have to stop it. I have to control it.
Rae: It's not quite that simple, but, yes, we have to find a strategy that helps you to keep from losing it.
Antonio: What? What? What? What is it?
Rae: It takes time.
Antonio: I don't have time. Jessica needs my help now.
Rae: You can't help her. You will only drive her away. If everything you've been telling me is true, then you have to change your M.O. Or you will lose Jessica. You will.
Mitch: Nothing can keep us apart, Jessica.
Keri: Antonio, I need you. Our baby needs you.
Jessica: Stop spinning me. You're making me dizzy.
Mitch: Go ahead, detective. Show her how tough you are.
Jessica: Antonio, stop!
Mitch: Jessica, are you sure this is what you want?
Keri: Antonio, stop it! You're scaring your baby!
Dr. Bonner: Now, a person's dreams reveal unconscious desires or fears. Delusions do the same. So what we're trying to determine today is whether or not Lindsay can tell the difference between those delusions and reality.
Bo: Well, doctor, we sure do appreciate you letting us sit in on your session.
Dr. Bonner: Now, remember, you're just observers. Hmm? All right, let's begin.
Nora: Excuse me.
Troy: Sister. Sister Sonia. Wow, don't you look beautiful today.
Sister Sonia: Thank you.
Troy: You're welcome. I'm here to see one of my patients, Raymond Carlin, but he wasn't in his room. Would you mind checking to see where he is right now?
Sister Sonia: With pleasure. I'm sorry. Of course.
Dr. Bonner: Lindsay, do you know what you're doing here today?
Lindsay: I'm here for a psychological evaluation.
Dr. Bonner: That's right.
Sister Theresa: Excuse me, doctor. We're running a little late, and Lindsay hasn't taken her meds today. perhaps she should do that before we begin.
Dr. Bonner: Yes, of course.
Sister Theresa: Are you all right?
Lindsay: It got caught in my throat. I don't remember the pill being that big. All right. I'm ready, Dr. Bonner.
Joey: He's not here, but can I help you with something?
Carlotta: Teach this boy about morality and manners. And keep him away from my goddaughter.
Joey: Whoa. OK. What happened?
River: I was talking to a pretty girl -- talking, I swear. The way Ms. Vega blew up, you'd think I was ripping her clothes off.
Joey: Right, so Carlotta just flew off the handle for no reason?
River: Look, we were listening to music, OK? I mean, what is that witch's problem?
Joey: She and your dad are trying to take care of their kids the best they can.
River: Yeah, well, maybe if they'd butt out, it'd help us all out a lot.
Joey: Well, that's not going to happen. You don't want that anyway.
River: How do you know?
Joey: My dad and I used to go at it pretty hard sometimes. There were plenty of times I felt like he was the enemy.
River: Yeah, look if you really want to help out so much, why don't you remind my dad of all the times he messed up? I mean, where does he get off telling me how to act? I'm just trying to live my life.
Joey: Yeah. But from what I hear, you were one signature away from reform school when you came here.
River: Yeah, my mom never would've signed. Look, I want to do things, you know? I want to do as much as I can. Nobody knows how much time they've got, right? Well, what's the point of living if you can't be with the people you want to be with?
[Knock on door]
Joey: Jen. It's going to be hard to remember to keep from doing that. How did things go with the divorce lawyers? What's wrong?
Jen: Rex is contesting it. Our lawyers say it could be over a year until I'm free. I can't wait that long to be with you.
Nurse: Hello? Hello? Are you there? I slept with you! Doesn't that mean anything? Troy, if you're there, pick up.
Cristian: Excuse me, are you OK?
Nurse: You heard that?
Cristian: Yeah, it was kind of hard not to.
Nurse: Everybody knows anyway. Troy MacIver blew me off. I don't get it. One minute he's the sweetest guy in the world, and -- and the next he acts like he couldn't care less if I lived or died. He's like something out of "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde." Like you need to hear this.
Sister Sonia: Dr. MacIver? Mr. Carlin is in his room. You must've just missed him.
Troy: Yeah, I must have. Thank you, Sister.
Dr. Bonner: Now, do you know, Lindsay, why you were brought here for treatment?
Lindsay: Because I killed Sam.
Dr. Bonner: And do you know who Sam was?
Lindsay: Sam is my husband. I mean, Sam was my husband. He's my ex-husband, the father of my children.
Dr. Bonner: And have you seen Sam since then?
Lindsay: Yes, I have. But it wasn't real. I know that now. I'm doing a lot better because now when I see Sam --
Dr. Bonner: You still see him?
Lindsay: Yes, I have nightmares. And who wouldn't have nightmares in here? I'm locked up every night and I sleep in a strange bed.
Dr. Bonner: You mentioned your children.
Lindsay: Will and Jen, yes.
Dr. Bonner: How old are they now?
Lindsay: Actually, they're all grown up now. Will just graduated from law school, and Jen is still in college. Sam and I are very proud of them. Sam was very proud of them. I know he's dead.
Bo: Psst. Just got something on the Laurence case. I'm going to head over there. You want to come?
Nora: No, I want to stay here and listen to this.
Bo: All right. See you.
Dr. Bonner: All right, Lindsay, now let's continue. I hear that you told one of the sisters that you're in love?
Lindsay: I made love. That's right, Nora. I made love to Troy on the docks. And then we came back here and made love again. You see, I was with Troy the whole time. That's why it was impossible that I could've murdered Mitch. You believe me, don't you? You know I'm not crazy.
Joey: Hey, don't worry. We'll find you another lawyer.
Jen: Nora says he's the best.
Joey: We're going to find a way out of this, Jen.
Jen: I know that you can't be with me now because you'd have to quit the church, and I don't want to make you have to do that. Is it over?
Joey: No. If this means that I can't be with you, then I'm not going to be a priest.
Adriana: I can't talk to you right now. I have to make this delivery.
River: For Rev. Retneprac?
Adriana: How did you know that?
River: It's "Carpenter" spelled backwards. I faked out your godmother so I could see you.
Adriana: I'm really sorry I got you into trouble.
River: No, no, it's OK. My dad wasn't even around. Did she do anything to you?
Adriana: Itís the lunch rush. She hasn't had any time.
River: Think maybe she'll forget about it?
Adriana: Not by the looks she's been giving me. I forgot your MP-- 3pm player.
River: Oh, no, that's OK. I guess you'll have to see me again, then, won't you?
Adriana: I -- I don't know how.
River: I'll figure out a way. Don't worry about it.
Adriana: Oh, but your father -- when he comes home, he's probably going to punish you.
River: Yeah, well, I'm moving out.
Adriana: Are you moving out of town?
River: No, no. Not a chance. But I've found the perfect summer place for me. You're going to love it, I swear.
Antonio: How are you?
Antonio: Good. I was worried about you.
Jessica: Listen, I told you everything that I know about Mitch, OK?
Antonio: I'm not here as a cop. I missed you.
Jessica: I'm sorry I've been avoiding you.
Antonio: It's OK, you did what you had to do.
Jessica: It's just I --
Antonio: What matters is you're seeing me now.
Jessica: It's just I was really confused about how I felt, you know, and I was afraid.
Antonio: Well, Mitch is frightening.
Jessica: Not of Mitch, of you. I -- listen, I just -- I need my life to be really calm right now. You know, I need to find some sort of peace, and, Antonio, you're like a storm, so --
Antonio: Jessica, what are you talking about?
Jessica: Both our lives are really stirred up right now, OK? Keri and the baby are back in your life, which also means that you're fighting with R.J. And you're also a cop that's doing the investigation on my father's murder.
Antonio: But when that's over --
Jessica: Then there will be something else, something not calm. Like Cole Avery, or, I don't know -- I just -- I can't have these kind of things in my life anymore. I can't -- I can't do it.
Antonio: Jessica, I would never put you in danger.
Jessica: I can't have any part of it, any of it. OK? I can't take it anymore. People died because of me.
Antonio: Damn it, Jessica. Don't you know how I feel about you? I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
Jessica: Yeah, me, too. Please go now. I can't see you anymore.
Troy: Hey, Cristian. How's it going? How's the new job?
Cristian: It's going good.
Troy: Great. Listen, if you need anything -- anything -- you just give me a call, OK?
Troy: OK. Good luck.
Nurse: Troy. Why haven't you returned any of my calls?
Troy: Ms. Whitaker, this is a hospital. I suggest you do your job, or we'll hire someone else who will.
Dr. Bonner: Now, Lindsay, are you telling me that you left St. Ann's for an assignation with Dr. MacIver?
Lindsay: Troy --
Dr. Bonner: Lindsay?
Lindsay: I don't feel right. Something's different.
Sister Theresa: Would you like some more water?
Lindsay: No, I'm not thirsty!
Dr. Bonner: Lindsay, we were talking about Troy MacIver.
Lindsay: Troy? Oh, I knew you'd come here.
Dr. Bonner: Oh -- Lin--
Lindsay: You can't leave me here --
Dr. Bonner: Lindsay, I am Dr. Bonner.
Lindsay: Don't leave me in this place. I love you, and I know you to love me. I need you to show me. Love me right now.
Sister Theresa: Lindsay!
Dr. Bonner: Take her to her room, please. Take her to her room.
Sister Theresa: Let's go lie down for a while, all right, Lindsay?
Lindsay: No! Don't touch me! It burns! Don't touch me!
Sister Theresa: All right, dear.
Nora: What happened?
Dr. Bonner: It was the pressure of the interview. It caused a relapse. I've seen it before.
Nora: She's not well, is she? I mean, she's -- she's really not well.
Dr. Bonner: She's still fixated on Troy MacIver. The mere mention of his name seemed to trigger that outburst. Under the circumstances, I'm afraid I'm going to have to recommend that she remain here for treatment indefinitely.
Walker: You know, since The Banner scooped us on the Dorian story --
Dorian: Oh, there is no story.
Walker: We should do a front page interview with her.
Blair: That's a great idea!
Dorian: OK, how's this for an idea? You take me out for an adult beverage at the Palace, and I'll give you an exclusive.
Walker: There's no time. If we're going to run this tomorrow, it's now or never. I'll go get my tape recorder.
Blair: You have no shame.
Dorian: What -- what are you talking about?
Blair: What am I talking about?
Kevin: Hey, we need to talk.
Bo: Dorian, I'm glad you're still here.
Dorian: Hello, Bo. I assume you're here to clear my name.
Bo: My men just searched your office. They found this vial half-filled with arsenic. It was stashed in one of the heating vents.
Bo: Dorian, you're under arrest for the murder of Mitch Laurence.
Stay tuned for scenes from the next "One Life to Live."
On the next "One Life to Live" --
Blair: I have a little proposition for you.
Antonio: I asked you how I could help Jessica. Now things can't be worse between us.
Jen: We're very much in love, and he's leaving the church to be with me.
Walker: Troy's setting you up, Lindsay.
Troy: You're not getting rid of me. Not like this.
