Previously on "One Life to Live" --

Natalie: It creeps me out thinking of her being stuck there with him.

Mitch: You and I are going to share everything.

Jessica's voice: Antonio, please find me.

Walker: He did say something about a granite ledge.

Keri: There's a granite ledge in the Lenape Forest in the north near a waterfall.

Mitch: If you ever want to see your daughter, just come with me.

[Captioning made possible by ABC, Inc.]

Joey: Hey, mom, Nat had to take off, but I fixed you -- mom? Back soon. Mom."

Joey: Hmm.

Joey: Lord, Jess could really use your help right now. We all could. Please help us find her soon.

Antonio: Commissioner, we're in the Lenape Forest as we speak. These trees must be 100 years old. What's up with the choppers?

Bo: They were over the area, made several passes, and they were ordered back to the base.

Antonio: Why? We need all the help we can get.

Bo: Yeah, but their searchlights are useless right now. They bounce right off the fog.

Antonio: Yeah, it's getting pretty rough for us, too.

Walker: Ask if they've spotted either of the markers.

Antonio: Were the choppers able to spot the waterfall or that granite ledge?

Bo: Yeah, but no house. Antonio, this is an old-growth forest. You know, it's tough to find something like that in canopy that's this thick.

Antonio: Then we're just going to have to find it ourselves.

Bo: We've got three teams working their way in, but this -- this wilderness area, it's huge.

Antonio: We have the coordinates for the waterfall and the granite ledge. We'll get there somehow.

Bo: Antonio, look, a forest that thick -- it can be really tricky at night, so maybe you ought to stay put and then move at first light.

Antonio: Jessica might not have till first light.

Bo: Yeah, but our evidence is circumstantial. We don't even know that there's a manor house out there.

Antonio: Commissioner, if it's out there, we'll find it.

Brian: The messenger will be back any minute now. He left instructions for you in the kitchen.

Woman: She's very important to him. Watch her like a hawk.

Brian: Come on. We don't have a lot of time.

Jessica: Brian, Brian, Brian -- you're going to help me?

Brian: Look, we got to be quiet. Now, getting through the forest is going to be nightmare enough on foot, but -- but it's the only way.

Jessica: Thank you so much.

Brian: Jessica, I never wanted to see you hurt, and what's happening is just -- it's just all gone so wrong.

Jessica: How are we going to get out of here? What --

Brian: Well, we'll -- we'll head for the old carriage house at the end of the estate.

Jessica: How far is it to a road?

Brian: Maybe 10 miles, but -- but there's an old truck by the carriage house, and we'll be out of there in no time, I promise.

Jessica: Oh -- please, I'll be fine as soon as these drugs wear off. I just -- I feel like I'm swimming upstream. It's like every breath that I take -- it's so difficult to concentrate.

[Keys turn in lock]

Brian: Come on.

Mitch: Right this way. Welcome to Lion's Heart Manor. This was your father's very private sanctuary. Impressive, don't you think? He built this place to share it with you, and it's where you will spend the last night of your life.

Walker: Yeah, these maps are too old. Nobody's been on this road since forever. So I guess this is just a professional thing with you?

Antonio: I'm doing my job.

Walker: Yeah. Can't you just drive around those trees?

Antonio: The road stops here. This is it.

Walker: What now?

Antonio: We go on foot.

Walker: It's pitch black, not to mention the fog. We could get turned around and wind up wasting hours trying to who-knows-what.

Antonio: You can come with me or you can stay.

Viki: Where is Jessica?

Mitch: All in good time, Victoria. All in good time. Well, you haven't told me what you think.

Viki: I think you're insane.

Mitch: I had this built especially for us. The least you could do is give me your opinion.

Viki: You told me that my father built this.

Mitch: Victoria, could you call me Victor? Well, perhaps later. I'll go see if I can find Jessica. Feel free to look around.

Viki: Where's the damn phone?

Jessica: Mom?

Viki: Jessie! Oh, my God! Jessie! Oh, my God. Are you all right?

Jessica: I'm fine, I'm fine. Why did Mitch bring you here?

Viki: He brought me so that I could see you.

Jessica: What, are you a hostage?

Viki: I don't know, sweetheart. I don't know. I mean, the man is so insane, I don't know what he's thinking.

Jessica: This -- it's ok. It's ok. This is Brian. It's ok. He -- he got the messages to you.

Viki: Oh, I got them. Thank you.

Brian: Yeah.

Jessica: And he sent the yellow roses to Antonio. Did he get them?

Viki: Yes, he did. Yes, thank you.

Jessica: He's going to help us get out of here.

Viki: How?

Jessica: He knows a way out.

Viki: But -- but there are guards. There's a guard at the front door. There's probably guards at every single door.

Brian: Yeah. So we'll avoid them. All right. You're going to need a coat. The woods are cold.

Antonio: Due north. This way.

[Doorbell rings]

Flash: Hey.

Joey: Hi.

Flash: Um -- can I come in?

Joey: Yeah, yeah, sure. Please.

Flash: Anything new on your sister?

Joey: No. Jess is still missing. What's happening with you?

Flash: Nothing much.

[Flash coughs]

Joey: That doesn't sound good.

Flash: Oh, it's just a tickle. You know, I think it's just some allergies.

Joey: Well, your throat's not bothering you again, is it? I mean, you saw that specialist.

Flash: No, no, no. It's no problem. I'm fine. It's -- actually, my voice has never been better. And Claude says that our first session is next week, so --

Joey: Producer's all set, huh?

Flash: Yeah.

Joey: Great. Good.

Flash: Um -- that's not really why I came here, though.

Joey: What's up?

Flash: I'm sorry. I'm so sorry that I lied to you about being your cousin, being Aarah, and I -- I lied about C.J. And I lied --

Joey: Hey, please, don't worry about that.

Flash: I do. I really do. You know, I've just been walking around racking my head, you know, like we just -- we had this really nice thing going, and I know, I understand. I completely understand, you know. You don't want to date me anymore, and I --

Joey: You're my cousin, Flash.

Flash: Joe, I really do understand that. But I was just wondering if -- if you still wanted to be friends?

Joey: Hey. We're more than that. Flash -- Sarah -- whether you like it or not, you're part of all this now.

Flash: The family? Wow. That's cool.

Joey: Yeah. Ahem.

Flash: Are you ok?

Joey: Well, actually, no. I mean, this family is going through the toughest crisis, and, I mean, Jessica's not just missing. She's actually in real danger.

Brian: Here. I'll put this on. The entrance to the cellar is that way.

Viki: The cellar?

Jessica: Can we get out that way?

Brian: Yeah. We'll come up about 20 yards out. There are going to be guards all over the place, so we'll avoid them, but we have got to be quiet.

Viki: The cellar -- are you sure about this? Have you done this before?

Brian: Yeah, only once, and I was alone, but it is the only thing I can offer.

Jessica: Mom, are you ok with this? Because we have to hurry. Mitch is coming back.

Viki: Yes, yes, I'll do whatever it takes. Let's go, ok?

Jessica: Thank you, Brian. I really can't thank you enough.

Brian: Yeah, just thank me when it's over. Now, come on, get down there. Ah --

Jessica: Brian? Brian, are you ok? What happened? My God, what -- Brian? Oh, my God.

Viki: Oh, my God in heaven.

Mitch: I thought I made myself perfectly clear. This is our home, my beloved. No one -- I mean, no one -- will take you from me again.

Flash: Oh, my God, and Jessica's so-- oh, my God, you must be totally freaked.

Joey: The whole family is.

Flash: And here I am whining and complaining about the way things didn't go my way, and I -- I'm so sorry. Is there anything that I can do?

Joey: No, no, that's just the problem. There's nothing anybody can do.

Flash: I'm so sorry. I was being so selfish and about --

Joey: No. No, your problems are legitimate, too.

Flash: My problems are nothing. It's because they're my fault anyway.

Joey: Whoa, what makes you think that?

Flash: Because it's the truth.

Joey: Hey, if your problems are big enough to make you run away from home and never look back, I mean, there must be some really legitimate issues between you and Tina, and you can't blame yourself for everything.

Flash: That's because you don't really know the whole story.

Joey: So tell me. Help me understand what happened between you and Tina.

Flash: It's boring.

Joey: Let me be the judge of that. Besides, sometimes it helps to get stuff off your chest. Why not?

Jessica: Why would you do this? He -- he didn't do anything to you! Why did you kill him? He didn't do anything to you!

Viki: You are the devil incarnate.

Mitch: No, what I am, Victoria, is the lord of this manor, and I will not tolerate betrayal. Take him out of here. Put him down by the stream where the wolves hunt.

Jessica: No, no, no, you can't just do that!

Viki: Jessica -- let me go. Let me go!

Jessica: He was just trying to help me!

Viki: How in God's name can you do this?

Mitch: Oh, I see -- it's my fault, huh? The fact that you tried to escape has nothing to do with it, does it?

Viki: Do you know how out of control you are? Can you at least see that?

Mitch: Nonsense. But then, you have always underestimated me.

Viki: What is that for?

Mitch: Help her up.

Viki: What is that for? What are you going to do oh, my God, don't hurt her.

Jessica: No, no, no --

Viki: For God's sakes, don't hurt her!

Mitch: Viki, will you please stop praying!

Viki: She is your daughter!

Mitch: I would never hurt Jessica. It's ok.

Viki: Then let her go. Let her go!

Mitch: Shh, shh, shh. It's ok. It's all right. Now, I hope this little incident with Brian will show you both that it's time to accept the inevitable. You see, we are in the heart of the lion. Lion's Heart is our new home. Can't you just feel the pulse and the power?

Viki: Will you listen to yourself? You've lost your mind.

Mitch: Oh, you'd be the expert on that, now, wouldn't you?

Viki: Mitch, what do you want? I have asked you this, the same question, over and over again, and you are always incapable of answering me. What do you want?

Mitch: I want for nothing, Victoria. I have it all. I have my home, I have my daughter and my family, and everlasting power.

Viki: What?

Mitch: Everything your father once had, everything Victor Lord possessed is now mine.

Viki: What are you talking about?

Mitch: There's just one last thing to do to make it all complete.

Mitch: Take her upstairs and prepare her for me.

Jessica: No, I don't want to leave my mom. I don't want to leave my mom!

Viki: It's all right, baby. I'll be here. Don't worry, you're not alone. I swear to you, you're not alone!

Mitch: At last -- just the two of us.

[Music plays]

Viki: Mitch? Don't hurt Jessica. Please let her go. I'm begging you. Look, I will do whatever you want me to, but don't hurt her. Let her go.

Mitch: Leave us.

Singer: Most of you my lost romance

Viki: Whatever you want to do, please just do it to me. Please, not to Jessica. Please, I beg of you, not to Jessica.

Singer: Father time won't let me be

Bo: Voice mail.

Cristian: Antonio wouldn't shut his phone off, would he?

Bo: No, but he may have left his vehicle, you know, and started moving into the woods.

Natalie: Which means he gets no signal and --

Bo: And we get voice mail.

Natalie: Mm-hmm.

Bo: You know, if this fog doesn't let up, he may have a hell of a time finding anything at all.

Natalie: You know, it's already so dark in the woods, it's hard to see anything at all anyway.

Cristian: Mm-hmm. You can't see a thing in this fog.

Bo: Well, Antonio and Mitch's brother -- they have flashlights but that's about it.

Natalie: Well, what if they get lost? I mean, that's pretty easy to do in the forest.

Cristian: Well, even if he found an open space and tried to signal us, we wouldn't be able to see him in this fog.

Bo: And all the helicopters are grounded right now. I hate to say it, but until morning, your brother's on his own.

Walker: Hey. Look. Is that on the map?

Antonio: Looks like some sort of old building.

Walker: There's no building on this map.

Antonio: Let me check the compass. What the hell?

Walker: That's weird.

Antonio: No signal. How's your flashlight?

Walker: It's not going to hold out much longer.

Antonio: Yeah, mine either. I'm going to go back to the car, I'm going to get some extra batteries. You stay here, keep trying to call the commissioner.

Walker: Will do.

[Wolf howls]

[Leaves crunch]

Singer: My lost romance

Mitch: She really is quite lovely, isn't she? I mean, as much as you despise me, you can't deny that we have created something beautiful, something perfect in Jessica.

Viki: Yes. Yes, she -- she is.

Mitch: And that's good for something, isn't it?

Viki: Yes, you're absolutely right. She is perfect.

Mitch: Yes. That she is. That she is.

Viki: And she's very innocent in so many ways.

Mitch: Yes. I find that -- that only enhances her beauty.

Viki: You don't want to destroy that innocence, do you?

Mitch: No, I would never do something like that to Jessica.

Viki: But don't you see that that's what you're doing to her now, by keeping her locked up and keeping her away from the family that --

Mitch: I'm the only family that Jessica needs!

Viki: Mitch, will you listen to me just for a moment, please? I know that you were horribly, horribly hurt by your father. I understand. I also know that there is goodness in you. There has to be. Please, I beg of you -- don't do this to Jessica. Don't do what my father did to me. Please let her go. Give your daughter -- give our daughter her freedom.

Antonio's voice: Jessica, be strong. I will find you.

Woman: You like pretty things? The messenger will provide you with all the pretty things you could ever want. Oh!

Viki: Please, let Jessica go. She will always be grateful to you, and her memories of you will be those of a loving father.

Mitch: Marcello! Tie up this jabbering macaw.

Marcello: Sir.

Mitch: I'm going to go check on Jessica.

Viki: I will see you in hell if you hurt my daughter!

Mitch: Our daughter, Victoria.

Viki: Don't you hurt her! Don't you hurt our daughter! Let me go! I will kill you! Don't you hurt her! Oh, God.

[Knock on door]

Mitch: Jessica? Simone? Everything going all right in there?

[Knock on door]

[Knock on door]

Mitch: Jessica?

Antonio: Walker!

[Wolf howls]

Mitch: Jessica's missing. Get the others and find her. Oh, don't get your hopes up. They'll find her. If she manages to get out of the house, she won't get far.

[Knock on door]

Mitch: Who is it?

Jeremy: Jeremy, sir.

Mitch: Oh, please, excuse me.

Mitch: Walker. You're alive.

[Music plays]

Flash: So we moved to Detroit. Me, my mom, and Cain Rogan.

Joey: Oh, I remember that guy.

Flash: Yeah, don't even get me started with that guy, you know anyway, I was 14 and I conned my way into a gig singing backup for a band called Zombie Jukebox. It was at an after-hours club down near the renaissance center.

Joey: So, what happened to C.J.?

Flash: He was gone by then. He and mom had it out one night, and he said he was going to New York, but I guess he enlisted in the navy.

Joey: Ok. So you were active, singing at this after-hours club.

Flash: Yeah, but, I mean, I got back in time to take a shower and get to school before mom and Cain even noticed. I mean, this gig didn't pay that much, you know? It paid next to nothing, but it was a chance for me to learn, you know?

Joey: Yeah, sure.

Flash: I even scrimped up enough to buy a brand-new -- my first brand-new guitar. You know, it was a used Hofner acoustic 12-string.

Joey: Sweet.

Flash: Yeah -- steel, not nylon.

Joey: Ow.

Flash: It wasn't much, but it played so sweet, you know? And this guy Darryl taught me how to play it. Everybody called him Dare because he was fearless. I mean, he'd do anything. He was amazing.

Joey: Did you and Dare have a thing?

Flash: Yeah, it was my first and only. Anyways, that was a whole other story.

Joey: Right, right.

Flash: So one morning I was climbing out my window, and guess who was waiting for me.

Joey: Tina.

Flash: It was like 6:00 in the morning, and she was screaming at me like I'd burned down the house or something.

Joey: No more after-hours clubs?

Flash: Are you kidding? She took me down there and said she'd sic the cops on them if they ever even talked to me again because I was 14. And then Cain -- Cain went up to Dare and told him if he ever talked to me he'd be in jail before sundown.

Joey: Whoa.

Flash: You know, I tried to talk to my mom and I had it out big that night. She told me no more rock 'n' roll. She told me I could never sing again and rock 'n' roll would ruin my life. You know what Cain did? He took my guitar down and pawned it for 100 bucks.

Joey: Why? That was yours.

Flash: Guess you had to be there. Anyway, I tried. I waited a week and I tried to talk to my mom about it, but she wouldn't hear of it. That's when I knew I had to go.

Joey: So, that's when you took off?

Flash: Yeah. I packed up everything and I headed for New York to find C.J.

Joey: New York's a big place.

Flash: Yeah. Well, before I knew it, I was flat broke and I couldn't find a gig to save my life, so -- I just knew, though, you know, if I could just -- if I could just find C.J. But I couldn't. I failed.

Joey: Flash, we will find C.J.

Mitch: Obviously, your little memorial service was a police ploy to try to draw me out. Apparently, the authorities think I'm as stupid as they are.

Walker: Are you all right?

Viki: Yeah.

Mitch: What, nothing to say to the brother who thought he'd killed you?

Walker: Well, you weren't in your right mind. You thought our father was there commanding you.

Mitch: Yes, well, I'm free of father now. Free, free, free. Isn't this wonderful, Viki? Walker survived. Yes, it's turning into a veritable family reunion. I've got my brother here, the mother of my child --

Viki: But not your child.

Mitch: Oh, she will be here. She will be found, make no mistake about that.

Walker: She's missing?

Viki: And I pray she got away.

Mitch: Oh, ye of little faith. She'll be back and we will have one wonderful time when she gets here. In fact, I believe -- yes, there she is now. Jessica, I was starting to fear that maybe you didn't love me quite as much as I know you do.

Jessica: Do you love me, Mitch?

Mitch: Why, yes, with all my heart.

Jessica: Then let them go. Tell your men to put their guns down. Release my mother, let Walker go, or I swear you'll lose me forever.

Joey: That's -- that's a tough story. I'm sorry.

Flash: I'm way past it.

Joey: There's just -- there's something --

Flash: What?

Joey: That doesn't sound much like Tina. I mean, there's more to it, right?

Flash: What, I'm lying now?

Joey: No. No, no, I didn't say that. It's just I know Tina can be a pretty bad judge of character, but I've never known her to crush someone's dreams just because she didn't agree with them. There is a little more, right?

Flash: No, there's not. The great Tina Lord Roberts messed up my life, so I split. That's it.

Bo: How soon will the fog lift? Can you tell? Be right back. Well, then how soon can I get choppers up over the area again?

Natalie: How you doing?

Cristian: Ok.

Natalie: You're worried. I can tell. You always get extra quiet when you're worried. You kind of go deep inside yourself, you know?

Cristian: I know my brother, and he'll do whatever it takes to find Jessica.

Natalie: You mean, keep taking more risks.

Cristian: He'll do anything to make sure she's safe. That's just the way he is.

Natalie: Sure.

Cristian: But what worries me is that, well, he may not be as sharp as he usually is. He's pretty messed up right now.

Natalie: Because Keri came back.

Cristian: Yeah. And when you're not thinking straight, that's when things can go wrong.

Natalie: Hey, your brother's a smart guy, ok? He'll be careful.

Antonio: Walker? Jessica?

[Wolves howl]

Antonio: Jessica? Come on. Come on! Damn it.

[Wolves howl]

Mitch: Jessica, please, don't even play at doing something so terrible.

Viki: Jessie -- Jessie, this is not the answer.

Jessica: It's the only answer! This man is destroying people's lives over and over and over again, and it's all my fault. Well, not anymore.

Mitch: Jessica, please, don't do something that everyone will regret. We can make this all right. Watch me. Watch .. untie her. See? See? Your mother's fine. Your mother's fine and everything's fine. Please, put the glass down, Jessica.

Jessica: I will. But let them go.

Walker: I'm not going to leave you alone with this man, Jessica.

Jessica: Well, it's not your decision. It's mine. I'm making it mine!

Viki: My God, Jessie, no, don't do this.

Jessica: Let them go.

Mitch: All right. Open the door. Open the door and let them all out and don't anyone follow them. It's ok. It's ok.

Viki: No. No! I am not going anywhere without Jessica.

Joey: Flash --

Flash: I don't want to talk about this anymore, ok? Mom can just keep bouncing from loser to loser, but yet she wants to come and run my life? I'm not going to let --

[Flash coughs]

Flash: I'm not going to let that --

Joey: That doesn't sound good. Let me go get you some water, ok?

Flash: I'm fine, I'm fine.

Joey: I'll be right back.

Flash: Hey, there, mommy dearest. What are you smiling at?

Joey: Hey, Flash. You know, I thought you might want that sandwich. Flash?

Cristian: What are you doing here, Keri? My brother's not here.

Keri: He's out searching for Jessica, I imagine.

Natalie: Yes.

Keri: What she's going through must be really horrible.

Natalie: Yeah, no kidding.

Keri: Would you mind just keeping me updated?

Cristian: Jessica's priority here. My brother's out there risking his life to find her.

Keri: And I'm sure he'll do everything he can to save her.

[Wolves howl]

Antonio: I'm going in circles.

[Howling]

Antonio: Shut the hell up!

[Baby cries]

Keri: Antonio, please come back. Can't you hear your baby crying for you?

Antonio: No. Get it together, Vega. Get it together. Find it. Find the Lion Heart. Find the landmark. Find Jessica.

Mitch: Get out, all of you. Don't let anyone back in till I call you. There. You see Jessica? Everything's going to be all right now. It's ok.

Viki: Baby? Jessie? Sweetheart, you've been drugged. You don't know what you're doing. You don't mean this.

Jessica: I've never been more serious in my life. Now leave, ok? I belong here with him, ok?

Viki: No, you do not belong here.

Jessica: Don't come closer!

Mitch: For God's sake, do what she says and get out of here! Do you want her blood on your hands? Get out!

[Wolves howl]

Antonio: "Lion heart." I found it.

Stay tuned for scenes from the next "One Life to Live."

On the next "One Life to Live" --

Nora: So, who are you?

Natalie: Stay away from my brothers -- both of them.

Rex: By the way, I'm still planning on marrying her.

Antonio: I got to get to her before it's too late!

Viki: I'm begging you -- don't hurt yourself, please.

Jessica: Then leave.
