Blair: You have to go someplace. You have to hide. You can stay with me.

Jen: Your picture's probably on a milk carton --

Flash: Look, you don't know squat about me. And if you did, you wouldn't even --

Jen: If I did what?

Bo: What happened?

Antonio: Jessica -- she's gone.

Bo: Find her.

Viki: What do I want? You called me.

Dorian: No, you called me.

Mitch: Hello, ladies.

Viki: Mitch, for God's sakes, put that thing down.

Dorian: What do you want?

Mitch: Retribution. it's judgment day, Dorian. Your sins have found you out, and the wages of sin is death.

Dorian: I refuse to play this sick --

Mitch: You'll play anything I tell you to play. Now, whether you enjoy yourself is a matter of circumstances. See, the game that I've chosen to play is Russian roulette with a Llanview twist.

Rex: You got to admit, she's pretty sweet.

Jen: I suppose, if you're into that sort of thing.

Rex: Come on, what guy wouldn't be?

Jen: Well, in that case, I should buy it.

Rex: Whoa, whoa, hey -- no, slow down. You just can't keep spending money.

Jen: Well, you don't seem to have a problem with it when I'm spending it on you.

Rex: That's not fair. I'm only looking out for your best interests.

Jen: Oh, yeah, right. You are just full of Ė

Joey: Hey, Andrew, it's Joe. Give me a call when you get this. I -- well, I could use a friend.

Jen: I can tell you're turned on. I'm glad that collar hasn't completely cut off your circulation.

[Phone rings]

Joey: Hello?

Flash: Hey, Rev, it's Flash.

Joey: Hey, Flash. Hi. What's up?

Flash: I've got a question for you. Are you sick of The Palace yet?

Joey: No, not at all. Why?

Flash: Well, Nora and Matthew invited me for ice cream, and they said I could invite you, too. If -- if you're not busy, and if you want to.

Joey: No -- no, no, it sounds great. I'll be right there.

Flash: Great.

Gabrielle: Flash, wait a minute.

Flash: Oh --

Gabrielle: Could you take a picture? Because Al just graduated and I'd love to get a shot of us together.

Flash: Sure. Absolutely.

Gabrielle: Okay, everybody, let's take a picture.

Al: Okay.

Gabrielle: Get close.

Flash: All right, everybody, smile, okay?

Gabrielle: Smile!

Flash: One, two --

Antonio: I'm sorry about the interruption. Jessica, mind if I speak to you for a sec?

Jessica: Excuse me.

Antonio: What the hell do you think you're doing?

Troy: What am I doing here? I'm here to see Blair. What's it look like I'm doing?

Nora: Well, actually -- well, it looks like you're lurking, frankly.

Troy: Lurking?

Nora: Yeah, yeah.

Troy: That's a little dramatic, don't you think? Why would I be lurking at Blair's front door?

Nora: I don't know, you tell me.

Blair: So, are you all right?

Walker: Yeah. Are you sure no one else is in this house?

Blair: Oh, I'm -- I'm sure. My children are in Savannah with my cousin Cassie. Here, you can have a seat there, prop up right there. You should be fine here. There you go. You know, besides, everybody thinks that you -- you died in the fire anyway.

Walker: Well, as long as Mitch believes it.

Blair: So, do you think he'll show up at the memorial service that Bo planned?

Walker: He's so caught up in this mission he seems to be on, I'm thinking he'll feel he has to be there. I'm hoping, anyway.

Blair: Me, too. Well, is there anything -- is there anything you want?

Walker: Yes.

Mitch: Ladies, why so nervous? The gun wasn't even loaded. Until now. Eenie, meenie, meinie, monie -- oh, Dorian. How lucky do you feel today?

Viki: Mitch --

Mitch: Stay out of this, Viki. This gun is fully loaded. Are you ready? Oh. God smiled. I can't see why after all you've done. Letís try it once more, just for old times' sake, hmm?

Viki: Damn you! Stop this!

Mitch: Why so upset, Viki? Itís not even your turn.

Dorian: This isn't about retribution. This is about humiliation. You want me to grovel! Well, I won't! I won't! Do you hear me? If you're going to kill me, go ahead! Do it!

Mitch: That's why I married you, woman. You're right. Marriage vows are sacrosanct. I should live up to my -- my pledge to you. Till death do us part.

Walker: You have a way about you. I felt it the first time I saw you. Youíre very beautiful, but it isn't that. It's something unpredictable and dangerous, I have a feeling.

Blair: You can spare me the moth-to-the-flame routine. I've heard it before.

Walker: Hmm. I bet you have.

Troy: Look, Nora, I -- I'm not trying to be rude here, but I don't owe you any explanations. Not after you cut me out of your life.

Nora: After I cut you out of my life?

Troy: Nora, let's -- let's not get into it here.

Nora: That'd be a good choice.

Troy: So, speaking of working, what are you doing here, anyway?

Nora: I have business.

Troy: Well, nobody's home. I already tried.

Nora: Oh, okay. Well, then we'll just -- we lurkers should come back another time, right?

Troy: Yeah.

Nora: "We" was a plural thing. Are you coming?

Troy: No. You know what? I'm going to -- I'm going to leave Blair a note. You want me to mention something about you stopping by?

[Doorbell rings]

Blair: I'll be right back.

Walker: Be careful.

Troy: Blair.

Blair: Troy.

Troy: Hey. I was a little worried about you. Are you okay?

Blair: I -- I'm feeling better, thanks.

Troy: Good, good. ah -- you have company. Is that Walker?

Blair: Come on. No one else is supposed to know that he's here, all right?

Troy: Blair, I can't believe that you're getting involved with this guy.

Blair: No one's involved, Troy.

Troy: Oh, come on. You know something? I know this is a bad time. But it seems like every time is a bad time between you and me. I'm just going to ask you anyway, Blair. Whatís going on between us?

Jen: Just order me whatever you're having. I'll be right back. Nice hat. Must be a real thrill to have your little crush here to show it off to.

Al: Matter of fact, it is. Whereís your crush? Oh, he's probably off showing off your little hat, right? You do have a hat, right?

Marcie: Al --

Al: I mean, you did graduate?

Marcie: Al --

Al: Yeah, you're right. It's a waste of energy anyway.

Gabrielle: So, Max, how are you and R.J. getting along?

Max: Fine. You know, we're going to be partners in this new club. We are like that.

Gabrielle: That's good.

Max: Yep.

Gabrielle: So he never found out that you were the one that tipped off the police about the robbery he was planning?

Max: He has no idea, and I intend to keep it that way.

Antonio: I thought I told you to stay home.

Jessica: Why do you continually think that you can tell me what to do?

Antonio: You're out here by yourself. You have no protection. What, you want to get yourself killed?

Jessica: No! What I'm trying to do is live my life! Can't I have one night without thinking about Mitch Laurence and what he could do to me, or having the police follow me around?

Antonio: Yeah. Yeah, you can. I'm sorry. Okay, I -- I care about you, and maybe it's not my place, but I can't stand to lose somebody else that I care about.

Jessica: I know. I appreciate it, and I'm grateful for what you're doing for me. But the second that I stop living my life, Mitch wins.

Viki: No, this is --

Mitch: Shut up! Get on your knees, Dorian.

Viki: Mitch, listen to me. Youíre -- you're always telling me that we share a daughter, and you're absolutely right, we do. Sheís a beautiful girl. Please, don't let this be your legacy to her.

Mitch: Don't speak to me about Jessica. I have my own plans for her. This is Dorian's time. This woman, this Judas Iscariot. 30 pieces of gold, Dorian, was it worth it?

Dorian: What is it that you want from me?

Mitch: I want you to get on your knees and beg for forgiveness from Viki. Get down and beg for absolution for everything you've done to her, for marrying me so that you could take this poor woman's home from her and her money. Beg, Dorian, as if your life depended on it, because I assure you it does.

Dorian: I will not beg. Not for you and not for anybody.

Viki: This is not necessary. Dorian and I have made our peace.

Mitch: God has not forgiven her! I have not forgiven her. "I am not come for the righteous, but the sinners to repentance." That's what my father taught me. "'I will repay,' sayeth the Lord." Ha-ha!

Dorian: Bastard!

[Mitch whistles]

Mitch: Is this what you want? You want the gun? Oh, here. Give me your right hand. Good, put it right in there. Now, you've always hated Viki. hmm? Itís just going to get worse after everything that's happened now. This is your big chance to get rid of her once and for all. Do it. You kill her, or I kill you.

Rex: Hey, what's up? So, I want to invest in that new club you're starting up.

R.J.: On a bartender's salary? Boy, you couldn't afford my laundry bill.

Rex: Well, I've got access to some capital -- an inheritance.

R.J.: Well, I have all the investors I need.

Rex: Like who? Max Holden? Sure you can trust him?

R.J. More than I trust you, and that seat is taken.

Rex: No, I'm serious, R.J. Are you sure you can trust Max?

R.J.: Get to the point.

Rex: Did you ever figure out who tipped the cops off about the art gallery job?

R.J.: Well, you, or Cristian Vega.

Rex: No. Uh-uh. Itís your buddy Max.

R.J.: That's ridiculous.

Rex: I'm serious, R.J. I heard him talking about it with that woman over there. See, when you think about it, how could the cops have known that you were involved? Cole didn't give you up. I didnít. Cristian never met with you. The only one who could've seen you meeting with me and Cole would've been someone who had access to the club after closing. Like your "friend" Max.

Joey: Hey, congratulations.

Al: What's up, man? Thanks.

Joey: Hope I'm not too late.

Flash: Oh, no, Nora and Matthew aren't even here yet.

Joey: Good. So, how'd your appointment with Dr. MacIver go?

Flash: Great. Great. He -- he agreed with the specialist, and my throat's healing. I'm going to be fine.

Joey: Good. I've been pretty worried.

Jen: Seeing you two twice in one night -- how lucky can one girl get? So, any chance you suddenly remember who you are?

Joey: What are you talking about?

Jen: Ask her. Our conversation earlier, you said I'd be surprised to find out who you are. So who are you?

Flash: And why are you so interested?

Blair: Troy, I want to be honest, with you and with myself. I mean, you have been so great to me and to Starr.

Troy: I'm pretty sure I know where this one's going.

Blair: I'm just not ready to start a new relationship, especially after everything that's happened with mama, with Todd, with Dorian, Mitch --

Troy: Walker -- don't forget about Walker.

Blair: No, no. Walker is not involved here, it's me.

Troy: Oh, Blair, please. No, come on, I thought we were friends. Don't give me the "It's not you, it's me" excuse, please.

Blair: It's -- it's how I feel. all right? I just don't think that we should be involved now, I mean, at least not romantically.

Troy: Right.

Blair: Troy, I don't know what else to say. I'm -- I'm sorry.

Troy: Yeah. Me, too.

Walker: Everything okay?

Blair: Nothing is okay. But you know what, it's my problem, not yours. You must be tired. So, are you going to be all right here, alone?

Walker: Of course.

Blair: Okay. Good night.

Walker: Blair -- are you sure there's nothing I can do?

Rex: Well, this place is totally dead. Let's go have some fun, huh?

Jen: Why don't we get a room upstairs? How about that?

Rex: Yeah, right. I've been barred from the hotel. Haven't you?

Jen: Well, the concierge thinks I'm sweet, so I'll let him think all he wants.

Rex: Cool. Let's go.

R.J.: Max.

Max: Hey, R.J.

R.J.: So you're the one who ratted me out.

Max: Excuse me?

R.J.: Come on. I know all about it. You might as well just go ahead and be honest with me.

Max: Look, R.J., I can explain why I felt --

R.J.: Wait, wait, you mean you did rat me out?

Max: Hear me out here, would you --

R.J.: No, no, no, you sorry son of a --

Joey: Hey, hey, back off!

Evangeline: What's going on?

R.J.: You are finished! You can forget about Ultraviolet! You're fired!

Max: Would you let me explain --

R.J.: No! You can go to hell.

Gabrielle: Max, how did he find out?

Max: I don't know. But I just saw my entire future go up in flames. Oh.

Dorian: I won't shoot anybody.

Mitch: Either Viki dies or you do.

Dorian: No.

Mitch: Do not drop that gun. Dorian, think of all the years of resentment between you two, everything she's done. This is your chance to wipe all that out. Yes. Yes, yes, yes. Just think. You came so close to everything you've always wanted -- Llanfair, "The Banner," the Lord fortune. And Viki took it all away from you -- the money, the power, the respect, and above all else, the love. The love, Dorian. She gets it all and you get nothing. Thatís the way it's always been. But you can break the cycle, Dorian. All you have to do is squeeze that trigger.

Dorian: I can't!

Mitch: Coward.

Dorian: You're going to kill me anyway. I'm not going to die a murderer.

Mitch: You're pathetic. You deserve what's coming.

Dorian: Oh, come on. Stop torturing me. If you're going to kill me, go on! Kill me!

Mitch: Kill you? Dorian, I wouldn't dream of it. I mean, death is so final. Itís much too easy. No, I want you to live in fear, like you made me live when I was blind. I want you looking over your shoulder with every step you take. I want you lying awake night after night, wondering when. "When, oh, when will he be back?" because I promise you, I will be back.

Dorian: And what are you going to do in the meantime? Mitch, what are you going to do now?

Max: Blair? Oh. You okay?

Blair: Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm fine. I'm fine.

Max: Listen, I heard about Addie.

Blair: Yeah.

Max: How's she doing?

Blair: She -- she's regained her speech and most of her mobility.

Max: Good. Yeah, she's going to be fine. Here. Here.

Blair: Thanks.

Max: You're welcome.

Blair: So what's going on with you, Max? Huh?

Max: Uh -- son just graduated from college.

Blair: That's wonderful.

Max: Yeah.

Blair: Congratulations.

Max: Thanks, thanks. I mean, I was so proud.

Blair: Yeah.

Max: Proud of him, just watching him stand there and get his diploma. Youíre supposed to want your kid to be better than you, right? And he is. Oh, maybe that's the problem. I just -- at that moment, all I wanted was for him to be proud of me.

Blair: Well, I'm sure that he is, Max.

Max: Why? I got nothing going on. I got nothing coming up.

Blair: Well, I heard that you got some stuff going with R.J.

Max: That's over. I -- its just killing me. I -- I wanted so badly to be a success, something my son could look up to.

Blair: He does, Max.

Max: Oh, yeah. Yeah, right. And when he does, what does he see, huh? Itís just been one scheme after another for me. You ought to know, you were involved in some of them. Not that it hasn't been fun, but still I came up empty. Then Al came back into my life and I had someone to look out for, someone to set an example for.

Blair: I know what you mean about your kids. I just want to love them, take care of them. I haven't done a very good job, either, Max.

Max: Hey, you are very --

Blair: No.

Max: Come on, you -- you've been an amazing mother. Really.

Nora: Hi. Sorry we're late.

Flash: Oh, no problem. Hey, little dude, what's up?

Matthew: Everything's cool.

Flash: Uh-huh. See? Just like you taught me? I'm getting good at this.

Nora: Oh, yeah?

Joey: You just missed all the excitement.

Nora: Oh, yeah? what happened?

Joey: Your pal R.J. over there just went after Max. Physically.

Nora: What? Why?

Joey: I don't know, but it looked pretty serious.

Evangeline: Do you want to explain what just happened?

R.J.: No. Look, would you please just let it go?

Evangeline: It's business, R.J. this clearly impacts Ultraviolet. Youíve just lost an investor. You have another one sitting across from you, looking for assurance.

R.J.: Well, then rest assured. I have alternate financing all in place. Always have a Plan B.

Evangeline: And who exactly is "Plan B"?

R.J.: A guy with a big mouth, and he'd better have a wallet to match.

Rex: Something wrong? Jen?

Jen: No. No, not at all.

Jessica: Would you relax? You couldn't be any more overprotective.

Antonio: Yeah, well, I can try.

Jessica: No, thanks. Youíve barely let me out of your sight as it is.

Antonio: And here I'm thinking I don't see you nearly enough.

[Phone rings]

Antonio: Vega.

Mitch: Detective Vega. Itís Mitch Laurence. I'd like you to meet me at St. Jude's Church. Right now would be good. I can assure you, you'll be very interested in what you find.

Al: Look, not too fast, all right? You're going to hurt yourself.

Max: Whoa, whoa --

Al: Oh -- hey, Dad. What are you doing here?

Max: Hey, Al, I was just -- I was just out for a walk. How's the skating?

Al: It's great.

Max: Good.

Al: Listen, actually, there's something I wanted to run by you. I've already talked to Marcie about it, but I'm thinking of applying to law school in the fall.

Max: You're -- you're kidding.

Al: No, no, I'm serious. I mean, my grades weren't that good, but Llanview U. has a special policy on alumni. So I figured if I go to summer school, I do really well on my LSATs, I'd be able to get in.

Max: Wow, I -- I can't tell you how proud I am of you.

Al: Let's just see what happens, you know, Dad? Weíre going to take off, but it's good seeing you, all right?

Max: Yeah, yeah. Be careful.

Al: Yeah.

[Marcie laughs]

Al: Okay, are you good?

Marcie: Yeah.

Al: All right, let's go. There we go.

Max: Hear that, Luna? My son's going to go to law school. Who the hell would've thunk it? I guess if I were any kind of father, I'd pay for it. Oh, who the hell am I kidding? I'm not any kind of father.

Troy: We meet again.

Woman: Colin's brother, right?

Troy: That is right. Troy.

Woman: Ingrid.

Troy: Ingrid? That's very nice. You know, Ingrid, this is going to sound a little crazy, but I was actually thinking about you earlier today.

Ingrid: Well, I'm flattered.

Troy: Well, you know, you never finished telling me about how well you knew my brother, Colin.

Ingrid: Colin wasn't the type to let you get close.

Troy: Yeah, well, I guess it's a good thing I'm not Colin, then.

Jen: Hey.

Nora: Hi!

Jen: You out by yourself?

Nora: It would appear that way, but actually I came with -- with Matthew, Flash, and Joey. They went out to look at a fountain.

Jen: Okay, well, while we're by ourselves, could I ask you a question?

Nora: Sure.

Jen: Do you have any idea what Flash's real name is?

Nora: No, I actually donít. I never thought to ask. I think it's probably a generational thing, you know?

Jen: Well, do you know really much about her at all?

Nora: Um -- why do you ask? Does this -- does this have something to do with Joey?

Jen: No, no, just -- just curious.

Nora: Well, if you're curious, why don't you ask Flash?

Antonio: Ugh! I thought I told you to stay in the car.

Jessica: No way. I'm safer with you than I am alone.

Dorian: Somebody help me! Oh, please, help me! Get me out of here! Help!

[Dorian cries]

Antonio: My God, who put you in here?

Dorian: Oh, it was -- it was -- it was Mitch! It was Mitch!

Antonio: Where is he now?

Dorian: Oh, God, I don't know. I don't know where he went. But, Jessica, he -- he has your mother with him!

Max: Oh, my God. Whoo!

[Phone rings]

Rex: Yeah! Hello!

R.J.: It's R.J. Look, are you still interested in investing in Ultraviolet?

Rex: Yeah, sure. Absolutely.

R.J.: Well, then get over to Capricorn, and I mean now.

Troy: So, Ingrid, what do you say we get out of here, huh?

Ingrid: I don't know.

Troy: Hmm. You don't know, huh? Well, if you don't come with me, then I guess you never will know.

Dorian: Blair? Blair?

Walker: She's upstairs. She came in a few minutes ago. She was tired; she went up to bed.

Dorian: I'm not even going to ask what you're doing here.

Walker: What is it, Dorian?

Dorian: Your brother. Heís going to be coming after me for the rest of my life, until he either kills me or drives me crazy.

Viki: Where are we?

Mitch: Where no one can find us. Oddly enough, we're in Llanfair. See, the chamber under the stairs -- never sealed. Unfortunately, the workmen you hired were susceptible to bribery. Shocking, I know. The chamber is connected to an underground tunnel system, which is how f found it in the first place. It's terribly convenient. In fact, I killed my brother, Walker, in a room that was almost exactly like this one. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bore you.

Viki: Is that what you're planning to do to me?

Mitch: Well, that depends.

Viki: On?

Mitch: Jessica.

Jessica: Mom?

Antonio: Stay back. All right, is anyone here?

Jessica: Mom!

Antonio: Jessica, go wait with the officer in the squad car now. Go. I'm going to check upstairs.

Mitch's voice: "My darling Jessica -- if you ever want to see your mother again, please obey the following instructions. Believe me, the worst thing you can do is tell anyone about this, especially the police. Because in that case, your mother dies."

Antonio: What's that?

Keri: Dad, I need you to hear me. I want to come home.

Natalie: R.J.'s definitely hiding something or someone.

Antonio: I think Jessica's gone to meet Mitch.

Jessica: Don't touch my mother. I'll come, and I swear I'll be alone.
