Previously on "One Life to Live" --
Mitch: Blair manning, it is time for you to be punished for your betrayal.
Viki: Bo, you have to find him. He's totally out of control.
Blair: I'm going to go find that cop. I'll have him radio for help, ok?
Dorian: Blair, where are you?
Blair: I'm at clear lake. Something terrible has happened.

[Radio turns on]
Al: The winds are blowing
Al: The winds are blowing into Llanview tonight, stirring things up, making lots of noise, but when you listen -- I mean, really listen -- to the rhythm of the wind, it's not noise. It's music.
Antonio: There's no sign of Blair or Walker.
Bo: Or Mitch. But this explosion was all his. I mean, you can bet on that.
Antonio: Commissioner, they could still be alive in there.
Bo: Antonio, look, if anybody was in the house, they're not coming out.
Antonio: I'm going to go take another look around.
Dorian: I know what I heard. I was talking on the phone with Blair, and then there was this horrible explosion.
Nora: Ok, Dorian, calm down. Bo and Antonio are at Clear Lake right now.
Hank: Yeah, but what were Blair and Mitch's brother doing there?
Dorian: Isn't it obvious? They were looking for Mitch, only the explosion must mean that he found them first.
Jessica: Who's there? Mitch?
Viki: Was it Mitch?
Jessica: I think so.
Walker: Mitch? Blair?
Mitch: She's dead, Walker. "and he answered, 'what peace so long as the whoredoms of thy mother, Jezebel, and her witchcrafts are so many?' and he lifted up his face to the window and said, 'who is on my side? Who? Throw her down.' So they threw her down and some of her blood was sprinkled on the wall. This is the word of the lord. And the carcass of Jezebel shall be as dung upon the face of the field."
Walker: Mitch? Mitch, where are you?
Walker: What happened to Blair?
Walker: Just tell me.
Mitch: Ooh. Do you covet her, brother? She is very --
Walker: Where is she?
Mitch: "I may avenge on Jezebel the blood of my servants, the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the lord."
Walker: Did you kill her?
Mitch: The price for betrayal.
Walker: You are insane!
Mitch: The price all the rest will pay, as well.
Walker: Why didn't you kill me? Why me? Why did you bring me here? Why didn't you kill me, too?
Mitch: Because he said that would be too easy.
Mitch: Our father.
Mitch: Our father, Walker. he's here with us now. Don't you feel his presence? I know. I know.
Walker: You know what?
Mitch: Yes. He wants us to pray. He wants us to pray for forgiveness and salvation. Pray with me, brother.
Mitch: Get on your knees and pray with me. I said get on your knees!
Viki: Why do you think it was Mitch?
Jessica: I just knew. It's -- it's almost like I could feel his breath on the back of my neck like he was here, like a ghost or something.
Viki: Well, he's not a ghost, unfortunately. He's a demon.
Jessica: And he's out there. He's playing with our heads.
Viki: I really wish that he had --
Jessica: What, died when he fell? Damn right. It would've solved everything. It's a horrible fact, but we all would've been better off, right?
Viki: I'm sorry, Jessica.
Jessica: No, no, no, no, no. I shouldn't have gone off like that.
Viki: Sweetheart, you have nothing to be sorry for.
Jessica: I have plenty to be sorry for. I was there when he fell. I -- I was in on it. Yeah, it was an accident, but I could've stopped Dorian and I didn't.
Viki: Jessica, please, baby, don't do this to yourself.
Jessica: I'm a mess, mom. I don't know what to feel. He's my father. He's a horrible man, I know that, but he is still my father.
Viki: I know that, babe. I mean, I know it all too well.
Jessica: Well, what do I do?
Viki: You do exactly what I did when it was my father -- you get rid of him. You just cut him off.
Jessica: I don't know how.
Viki: Well, I will help you, ok? It's not going to be easy, but I think you can do it. My little girl.
Viki: It's all right. I'll get it. Ok?
Viki: Yeah, I'll get it. Who is it?
Officer Conner: It's Officer Conner, Mrs. Davidson. You got a flower delivery.
Delivery man: You Mrs. Davidson?
Viki: Yes. Who sent that?
Officer Conner: Came from Mason Florists.
Viki: No, I mean, do you know who ordered it?
Delivery man: I just do deliveries.
Viki: Ok. Um -- would you mind putting it on the table, please? Oh, sorry. Thank you very much.
Delivery man: Thank you.
Jessica: Who sent this?
Viki: I don't know.
Jessica: What does it say? "Sorry for your loss"?
Antonio: Oh, man. Now I know why I didn't become a fireman.
Antonio: You find something?
Bo: Small. Could be a woman's.
Bo: Oh, if it is --
Dorian: Why don't you give me this address of this -- this lake house of Mitch's.
Hank: Dorian, the police will handle it.
Dorian: Oh --
Nora: Dorian, go home.
Nora: No, go home. We'll call you if there's anything to tell you.
Dorian: Go home and do what, Nora? Put my feet up? I mean, I heard an explosion while I was talking on the phone to Blair!
Hank: There's nothing else to tell you, Dorian.
Dorian: Why don't I just call the commissioner. What's his number, please?
Nora: Nora Buchanan.
Bo: Nora, it's Bo.
Nora: Hi. What's up?
Bo: We're -- we're still at Lawrence's bungalow. There -- there was an explosion. It was bad. Probably gas.
Nora: I heard.
Bo: You heard? How did you hear?
Nora: Um, can't -- hard to say.
Bo: What, do you mean you can't say?
Nora: That's right.
Bo: Why? Who's there? Dorian?
Nora: Yes. So what's going on?
Bo: It's not good.
Nora: What does that mean?
Bo: There's no sign of Blair, Mitch, or his brother, and we found a jacket or what's left of a jacket, and we're pretty sure it's Blair's.
Nora: What do you think?
Bo: I don't know where she is or what kind of shape she's in or if she even made it out of here.
Dorian: That was Bo, wasn't it? Oh, dear God. oh, dear God. dear God, no.
Blair: Help me.
Troy: Blair, what happened? Tell me what happened.
Mitch: What's the matter, didn't you hear me? I said get down!
Mitch: Yes. now, let me me hear your prayer.
Walker: Mitch, please listen to me. This can't go on.
Mitch: Yeah -- world without end, amen.
Walker: You can't keep attacking people.
Walker: The more you do, the worse it'll be when they finally catch you.
Mitch: They can't catch me. They won't touch me. I'm invisible. I'm sorry. I know. I know, father.
Walker: You know what?
Mitch: I know. I'm sorry. Forgive me, father. I will punish them. I will set loose the dragon.
Mitch and priest: "The sword of the lord shall devour from one end of the land even to the other. No flesh shall have peace."
Mitch: Am I your sword?
Walker: Who are you talking to?
Mitch: Please, father.
Walker: Do you think you see our father?
Mitch: I repent for my weakness. I beg to be the instrument of your justice.
Walker: Mitch? Mitch? Mitch, there's no one here but the two of us. Do you hear me, Mitch? Father is dead. He can't hurt you anymore.
Mitch: You liar!
Mitch: You've come to hurt me. You're as false as all the rest, as false as he was!
Priest: Mitchell! look what you've done to me! I am on fire! My hands, my arms -- they're burning! What have you done to me?
Mitch: It wasn't my fault. It was an accident.
Walker: What accident, Mitch?
Mitch: I'm sorry. It -- it was only supposed to be the boat that caught on fire. It wasn't -- it wasn't my fault. I didn't mean it to be, father. I didn't mean it, father!
Walker: Mitch -- the boat? The one that killed our father. Did you do it? Did you start it?
Priest: Tell him, Mitchell. Tell him what you did to me and meant to do!
Viki: Kevin's fine. He's fine. It's all right. This is just Mitch playing another one of his sick little games.
Jessica: Well, it a a message or a warning.
Viki: No, it's not. It's what he wants us to think it is, but it's not. believe me, sweetheart, if he wanted to kill us, he's had nothing but chances. He simply wants to torment us, that's all. Baby, I told you, I called everybody -- Natalie, Kevin, Joey. They're fine. Everybody's accounted for. Oh, my God.
Viki: Let me see that.
Jessica: All it says is "sorry for your loss."
Viki: No, no, no. He sent it to Mrs. Benjamin Davidson. oh, my God -- Ben!
Bo: How's it going?
Antonio: There's no sign of any bodies.
Bo: Well, they made it out.
Antonio: Yeah, but did they ever make it in?
Bo: We know Blair was on her way in.
Antonio: Yeah, but did she actually make it into the house?
Bo: I just talked to Hank on the phone. He said that Dorian had gotten a call from Blair. Now, Dorian heard an explosion, and then nothing.
Antonio: Damn it, there's got to be something in here.
Antonio: Some kind of schematics.
Bo: This is a blueprint for the entire sewer system of Llanview.
Antonio: Yeah, but why does Lawrence have it?
Bo: I got a pretty good hunch.
Troy: Blair, tell me what happened. Can you hear me? Do you know where you are? All right, let's get you down to the E.R. Come on.
Blair: No, no, let go of me.
Troy: No, we got to get you down.
Blair: Let go.
Troy: Blair, come on.
Blair: I got to go.
Troy: Blair, relax.
Blair: I got to go help him.
Troy: You're safe now. You're fine. You're safe.
Blair: Walker. Walker. Walker needs me.
Walker: Listen to me now. Father is dead. he's gone. he's not coming back.
Mitch: You didn't see him?
Walker: He's not here.
Mitch: He was right there. Oh, I know what you're doing.
Walker: I'm not doing anything.
Mitch: No. You want me to think I've lost my mind, like those whores Dorian and Blair. Well, I caught on to them and Blair has ready been punished.
Walker: Tell me what happened all those years ago. You burned the boat with father on it?
Mitch: The past is past. Let the dead bury the dead.
Priest: Coward! Confess! Repent or your soul shall burn in hell!
Walker: Did you do it, Mitch? Did you kill father?
Mitch: You got out. He sent you away. He made me stay. He punished me day after day.
Walker: Just tell me. what did you do?
Priest: Shout it out loud! Do not hold back! Raise your voice! Raise your voice like a trumpet!
Mitch: I don't owe him any explanations! You sent him away! You made me stay! You made my life a hell!
Walker: Mitch? Mitch, look at me. Mitch, look at me! Look at me. Did you do it? Did you kill him?
Mitch: He was the devil, Walker. It was the lord's vengeance. Our father who art in hell, hallowed be his name!
Priest: Enough! If it's answers he wants, give them to him, Mitchell. Show him. Show your brother how you killed me.
Mitch: You asked for the truth. I'll give it to you. Lie down. Do it! Now!
Walker: Mitch. Mitch, don't do this.
Mitch: You know, you were so lucky. You don't know what it was like growing up with that demon degrading me every day of my life. I was young, I was weak, I couldn't stand up to him. When I tried to, he would lock me in that closet, sometimes all night in the darkness like an animal, like -- like the animal that I was.
Priest: "But these men blaspheme in manners they do not understand. They are like brute beasts, creatures of instinct, born only to be caught and destroyed and like animals and beasts, they, too, shall perish."
Mitch: I am not a beast!
Priest: I wasn't speaking of you, my son. That was for walker.
Mitch: Yes. Thank you, father. For Walker. It's all for you, Walker.
Antonio: The fire captain said there's a second flare-up in the attic. We're ordered out.
Bo: Ok, well, I want to check on Blair. Nora said she was taken to the hospital.
Antonio: Oh, well, thank God she's safe. But where the hell are Walker and Lawrence?
Bo: I think these might help.
Bo: I'll tell you on the way.
Antonio: All right.
Dorian: Don't you ever do anything like this again. I mean, you scared me so. You worried 20 years off my life.
Dorian: Oh, Blair --
Troy: How's she doing?
Dorian: Well, doctor, I'm sure you're going to tell us. How is she doing?
Troy: Well, she suffered some smoke inhalation. But other than that, physically, she's going to be fine. They need you to fill out some forms at the front desk.
Nora: Hey. you feeling ok enough to answer some questions? Ok. We know you went up to Mitch's house at Clear Lake.
Blair: With walker. Ahem.
Blair: To find Mitch.
Nora: Which you did.
Blair: He pulled a gun on me, wanted to shoot me. Walker jumped in the way. Mitch fired the gun. He shot walker. Walker saved my life.
Nora: What happened to Mitch?
Blair: He ran out. Then I went to look for some help, but the police officer was dead.
Hank: Yeah, we know.
Hank: Did you find Mitch?
Blair: I went back to the house --
Nora: To look for Walker?
Blair: But he was gone. Then there was an explosion, and it was in the back of the house, but I smelled -- I smelled the gas.
Nora: Gas? Do you think Mitch set if off?
Blair: I don't know. There was fire everywhere. There was no way out.
Hank: But you got out.
Blair: Yeah, I -- I found a blanket and I soaked it in water and then I wrapped it around me and I ran. Ahem -- I ran through the fire.
Dorian: Please. Would you two leave? I think Blair has had quite enough --
Blair: Thank you, thank you.
Dorian: Questioning. She can't take it anymore.
Nora: How did Walker get out of there if he was shot?
Hank: Maybe Mitch took him.
Blair: Nora --
Blair: Nora, when Mitch showed up, he was wet.
Nora: He was wet? Why? It wasn't raining.
Blair: He said that he'd been swimming with his clothes on.
Hank: So he swam there?
Nora: Right -- up the Llantano river all the way to Clear Lake?
Bo: There's another possibility.
Mitch: Walker, when I was locked in that closet, I had a lot of time to think and you know what I thought about most? You, brother. Oh, how I envied you for dying, for going to a better place -- heaven. Because here you had to be hard. You had to learn to hate better than those who hated you. If you wanted to survive, you had to be strong, stronger than your enemies and smarter. You had to be smart enough to control anyone who could ever harm you and as long as you were alive, I knew I couldn't be that person. Well, I knew what I had to do. Walker, do you remember father's boat? How much he loved it? Oh, he would work on that thing -- evenings, all his evenings he would work on it. He slept on it one night. The next morning, I got up before the crack of dawn and I tiptoed down to the dock, but I made a little stop first, to the tool shed. Yeah, I got a hammer. Now, I was weak, but I did know how to use a hammer and it took one little tap to knock him out. Yeah.
Walker: Mitch --
Walker: Don't do this. Don't think you're our father. You haven't become him.
Mitch: Become him? I've surpassed him, lad! I've surpassed all of them.
Walker: No. no.
Walker: There's still good in you. There's still that brother that I remember -- the one that protected me, the good brother before the father destroyed him. We can bring that one back.
Priest: He betrayed you, Mitchell. He betrayed you. Don't you ever forget that!
Mitch: Would you really help me?
Walker: You're my brother, Mitch. I love you.
Mitch: You mean, after everything I've done? You'll forgive me for all of that? Even for killing Blair? No. I didn't think so.
Walker: Mitch -- Mitch, stop. stop!
Jessica: At least we know it wasn't Ben.
Viki: Yeah, we know that. It was not Ben, but that's what he wanted us to think, you see? He wanted me to go through what I have been dreading for months -- to know how it feels to lose Ben, to know that Mitch has some kind of power over me. You know what? This is going to stop! It has to stop! It just has to! Damn him! Damn him! Damn him!
Troy: She should sleep for a while now.
Dorian: She's been through so much.
Troy: Yeah, she has. So have you. Why don't you go home and get some rest.
Dorian: No. I don't want to leave her.
Troy: You care about her a lot, don't you, Dorian?
Dorian: Well, that is an understatement.
Troy: Then leave her alone.
Dorian: I guess I could go get a cup of coffee.
Troy: No. I mean leave her alone. Blair got lucky this time, Dorian, but she could've died in that explosion. Don't let it happen again.
Dorian: It was not my idea that she team up with Mitch's brother and go chasing after Mitch.
Troy: Come on, Dorian. You -- this whole thing is your fault, from the minute you came into town and married Mitch. Blair didn't want to get involved, but you dragged her into it anyway, didn't you? And now look what's happened.
Dorian: You think you know Blair, but you don't. You could never possibly understand a woman like that, so my advice to you is don't even try. Because you'll only end up with nothing, except maybe a broken heart.
Walker: Mitch, listen to me, for God's sake!
Mitch: For God's sake? What's God ever done for my sake? He didn't lift a finger when I was trying to escape father.
Walker: Do you think that I had it so great? The Flynns weren't much better than father!
Mitch: Yeah, but they weren't him, were they?
Priest: "I have struck you as an enemy would and punished you as many would the cruel because your guilt is so great and your sins so many." Now your brother must learn that same lesson. He must be made to pay for his sins!
Mitch: Now, after I knocked dear old dad out, I put him face-down in the bottom of the boat and I took some rags and some tarps and soaked them in gasoline. Now, remember how we used to build forts? Huh? Yeah! We used to set them on fire? Sometimes we'd use dad's old clothes and mom's old clothes. That was so much fun, wasn't it, brother? Ok. Now let me tell you how this is going to work. First the candles burn down real slow. When they get to the cape, the cape catches fire and then -- well, you're a smart boy. You know what happens next.
Walker: Why -- why do you go to so much trouble? If you're going to torch me, why don't you just do it.
Mitch: Well, have you forgotten the virtue of patience, brother? You see, father wants me to make you wait. He wants you to watch death coming. He wants you to suffer like I did!
Walker: Please, Mitch, no -- no.
Mitch: Shut up --
Walker: Don't do it!
Mitch: You sniveling coward.
Mitch: One. Goodbye, brother.
Mitch: Goodbye, traitor.
Troy: It's ok.
Troy: It's ok, Blair. I'm here now.
Blair: Walker. Walker.
Viki: I'm going to take this to the trash where it belongs.
Jessica: No, no, no. I'll get this.
Viki: Jessica, please --
Jessica: Listen. Why don't you go make us some tea. I know I could really use a cup right now. Ok?
Viki: Thank you for the shoulder.
Jessica: It's my turn, don't you think?
Jessica: Who is it?
Jessica: Are you ok?
Antonio: Yeah, yeah. No, I'm fine.
Jessica: Come in, come in.
Antonio: What the hell happened here?
Jessica: Mitch -- again.
Bo: This is Llanfair. This is Dorian's house.
Nora: They're connected?
Bo: Mm-hmm, by a maze of storm drain tunnels.
Hank: Yeah. That's how Mitch is getting around town.
Bo: All right, check this out. They all converge right here, this long, narrow central tunnel. It's a chamber and it's right underneath the old Pyramid theater.
Troy: No, Blair, it's me -- Troy.
Blair: Where's walker?
Dorian: Thank you, doctor. As you can hear, she doesn't want you. You can leave now.
Blair: No. No, no, Troy. Please don't go.
Troy: I'm here, Blair, and I'm going to be here as long as you need me.
Blair: Ok, what happened to Walker? He saved my life. Is he all right?
Priest: You have done well, my son. I am proud.
Mitch: "Now I lay me down to sleep, my soul I pray the lord to keep and if I die before I wake, I pray my soul the lord to take."
Stay tuned for scenes from the next "One Life to Live."
On the next "One Life to Live" --
Jen: Do you really think someone like you has got a chance with Joe?
Natalie: You shouldn't have been blackmailing Asa.
Roxy: You going to help me or not?
Viki: I will work with anyone who's against Mitch Lawrence.
Dorian: Even me?
Walker: Let me go. Mitch!
