Blair: I can't get it open, Dorian! Oh -- ow! Ow!

Dorian: Sweetheart, it's already infected, just like Mitch’s cut was.

Mitch: Jessica, I'm your father.

Jessica: You're not my --

[Mitch screams]

Carlotta: Natalie says that she needs my blessing before. If she won't marry Cristian without it, I guess that's that.

Cristian: Will you marry me?

Natalie: Yes.

Dorian: Oh, it's no use! There's not even a crease I can fit a crowbar into! Ugh!

Blair: Well, at least, if we die, we die together.

Dorian: We are not going to die. No, I've waited too many years for this. We are going to get out of here.

Blair: Yeah, and if we don't, Dorian?

Dorian: Well – you just bet we're going to get out of here.

Blair: Yeah.

Dorian: Yes! And Mitch Laurence is going to get what he deserves. Yes, that stinking bastard's going to get every last thing he deserves!

[Dorian laughs]

Dorian: Oh, wow.

Troy: Blair didn't show up for lunch, and I still haven't heard from her. I'm actually a little worried about her.

Troy: Have you seen her?

Lois: No, I haven’t. But I'll certainly have her call you if she comes by.

Troy: Well, that'll be great. Thank you. What's that noise? Do you hear it?

Lois: No, Sir.

Troy: You don't hear that? It sounds like a faint, like a vibration, kind of?

Troy: Sounds like it's coming from underneath here.

Rex: Hey.

Joey: Hey.

Re I didn't know priests worked out.

Joey: Yeah, why don't you catch some old Spencer Tracy movies?

Rex: Oh, but you can get married, right? Got to look good for the ladies, huh?

Joey: Or in your case, for you.

Rex: Hey, Rev, what's your problem with me?

Joey: Jen. Jen Rappaport’s my problem with you.

Lindsay: You have to get me out of here so I can go home and take care of you, you and Will.

Jen: You don't need to do that.

Lindsay: Oh, yes, I do. If I don't do it, who's going to do it? Your father certainly can’t.

Jen: I know.

Lindsay: He's always working late. He says that he's sorry, but then he brings his work home with him, and -- oh --

Jen: Mom --

Lindsay: Don't tell me that it's right. It's not all right. We need to spend time together as a family.

Jen: Daddy's dead. He's dead. Mom, you killed him.

Marcie: Al? What are you doing here?

Al: What? What am I doing here?

Marcie: Yeah.

Al: What are you doing here?

Marcie: Well, I -- I came to check on the Voice of the Night. You know, I was listening to him in the diner like I always do, and he didn't sound right. He sounded like he was in trouble, so I came over as fast as I could.

Al: Why?

Marcie: Well -- I wanted to see if he needed anything, you know? But when I got here, you were sitting there taking a nap.

Al: Yeah. Well, you see, the thing with that is --

Marcie: Yeah? Well, why are you sitting there taking a nap? You know, that doesn't make any sense. Oh. Unless --

Al: Unless what?

Marcie: No, no, there's no way. I mean, you couldn't be the Voice of the Night. I mean, are you?

Troy: Do you hear that? It sounds like it's coming from underneath the stairs. It's off and on. It's like a -- like a vibration.

Lois: I'm sorry. I really don't hear anything, Sir.

Troy: How did you get to the basement?

Lois: The basement?

Troy: Yeah, yeah. It sounds like something's going on down there.

Dorian: Hang on, Blair! Hang on! I really think I can create some kind of an opening, and then -- well, Blair?

[Drill stops]

Dorian: Blair? Honey? Come on, don't give in to this! Sweetheart, you're much better off if you try to sit up, okay? Come on, baby, please. Blair?

Blair? Blair, honey. Oh, yes, Viki! Yes, you really are enjoying this, aren't you? Sure! Ha! I finally get Llanfair back from you, and now we're going to die in it.

Natalie: Hey.

Viki: Hi, sweetheart.

Natalie: So I finally got the kitchen looking something like what Emeril would use.

Viki: Oh. Does Emeril come with it? What's the matter?

Natalie: Come on, Mom. It's not like I worry about losing Cris all the time.

Viki: Well, we did sort of leave things, you know, hanging and --

Natalie: Yeah, I know, but it's not like I'm going to just grow as confident as Jessica overnight, right? I'll survive. Anyway, Cris and I are about the last thing on Jessica’s mind right now.

Viki: What does that mean?

Natalie: She went to see Mitch at Llanfair.

Viki: She what? Why would she do that? Why would she go anywhere near that man?

Mitch: You won't let me face this alone? Do you really mean that?

Jessica: Yes. I feel responsible. I can't let you go through this alone.

Lindsay: Why would you say something like that to me? I would never hurt your father. Why? No! Don't you --

Bo: Jen --

Lindsay: Don't you go! You get her, Bo! You -- get her, bring her back! No --

Bo: Lindsay --

Lindsay: I --

Bo: Lindsay --

Lindsay: No, I have to protect her. I have to protect us. I have to protect Sam!

Bo: What do you have to protect them from?

Lindsay: From Mitch Laurence.

Mitch: Thank you, Jessica. Ahem. Does this mean you would really let me be a father to you now?

Al: Me? You think that I'm the Voice of the Night? It's impossible, Marcie. I can't be the Voice of the Night. You and I sat together in the diner. We were listening to him together.

Marcie: Oh, yeah, right. Talk about dense. You know, besides, when I listen to his voice and think about all the beautiful, wonderful, helpful things that he says, you know, I can't picture you. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to insult you.

Al: Don't worry about it, okay?

Marcie: So -- well, if you're not the Voice of the Night, then why are you here?

Al: Because -- because I wanted to know who this guy was.

Marcie: You did?

Al: Yeah.

Marcie: Well, why?

Al: For you. I know how much you want to know, so --

Marcie: You did that for me?

Al: It really wasn't a big deal. When I got here, they told me that he'd gone home sick.

Marcie: Oh, so that's why he sounded so strange. I hope he's okay.

Al: Yeah. Me, too.

Marcie: Hey, now, you don't look so good either. Is something wrong with you?

Al: Oh. I think I'm coming down with something, you know? Flu maybe?

Marcie: The flu?

Al: Yeah. And come to think of it, that's probably what got the Voice of the Night.

Marcie: Yeah. Well, you know, they say it's going around campus.

Al: Yeah.

Marcie: You know what? You should be in bed. Come on. I'll take you home.

Lois: Perhaps I could show the way to the basement.

Troy: No. Wait a minute. Yeah, see, now I don't hear anything.

Lois: It's an old house. There are always creaks and squeaks. I can't imagine what else it would be.

Troy: Yeah. Yeah, I suppose. Anyway, I'm sorry I took your time. Thank you.

Lois: It's all right.

Troy: Oh, you know something? If Blair stops by to see her Aunt Dorian, can you please tell her to give me a call?

Lois: Certainly.

Troy: Thank you. Does she come by here often?

Lois: Yes. Very often.

Troy: Thank you. Yeah, now I don't -- now I don't hear it at all. I guess I imagined it. Thanks again.

Dorian: Honey, you got to sit up, stand up, and --

Blair: I can't breathe.

Dorian: Just take deep, slow breaths. Come on. Come on!

Blair: Ooh, I feel like I can't breathe!

Dorian: I feel that way myself. The diamond. Just focus on the diamond. Just focus, okay? Sit up. Sit up. Don't give in to it. Don't give in to it. Just keep your focus, keep breathing, just breathe.

Blair: Oh.

Dorian: This is your fault, Victor! All your fault, you and your obsessions with Viki, with this -- this Badhra diamond! This is all because of you!

Blair: What are you doing? What are you doing, Dorian?

Dorian: Shh!

Blair: Be careful.

Dorian: Shh. Don't make a sound. Don't make a --

Blair: Dorian, look!

[Blair and Dorian laugh]

Natalie: Mitch just called her up and said to come and pick up her mustang at Llanfair, so Jessica went to go get it.

Viki: When was this?

Natalie: I don't know. A while ago.

Viki: Darling, why didn't you stop her?

Natalie: I tried to stop he but she just came in like a breeze and started getting her keys --

Viki: Damn it! You know that man wants something from her!

Natalie: Mom, come on! It's not like Mitch is going to hurt her!

Viki: Oh, please! Hurting people is all he's capable of!

Natalie: Yeah, but Jessica is his daughter. I mean, he keeps saying how much he loves her.

Viki: Yeah, my father told me that, too.

Dorian: Come on.

Blair: Almost there.

Dorian: There. There.

[Dorian hyperventilates]

Dorian: We're all right! It's going to be okay!

Blair: Yeah. Thank God. Let's get upstairs.

Dorian: You --

Blair: What?

Dorian: You just rest for a moment, okay? I'm going to be right back.

Blair: Oh -- oh -- oh -- no! No! No! You can't go back in there!

Dorian: I have to! I have to go get that diamond.

Blair: What?

Dorian: We haven't come this far for me to leave that diamond in there for Mitch Laurence.

Blair: No! No, Dorian! Don't go!

Mitch: Is that what you mean? Is it? You'll let me be your father?

Jessica: I'm going to go and talk to the doctor and get some information on your prognosis, okay?

Jessica: Dr. Bowles, hi.

Dr. Bowles: Hi. Mr. Laurence tells me you're his daughter. Is that correct, or -- are you his next of kin?

Jessica: Yeah. Yeah, I am. What's his condition?

Dr. Bowles: Well, I'm afraid it doesn't look very good. Your father's eyes were very badly burned. Surgery is not an option. It's possible he may recover his eyesight, but very, very unlikely. I'm sure this is upsetting to you.

Jessica: Yeah.

Dr. Bowles: I'm also sure that it will be upsetting for your father. Sometimes this sort of thing is easier to hear from a loved one.

Jessica: You want me to tell him that he might not see again?

Dr. Bowles: Well, not if you don't want to. I just wanted to give you that option.

Jessica: Okay, I'll do it.

Dr. Bowles: As I say, recovery is possible, but it's such a long shot. Don't want to give him false hope. If you change your mind and you want me to tell him, just have me paged, all right?

Mitch: Jessica? Is that you? What did the doctor say?

Dorian: I want to thank you, Victor Lord, for taking such good care of the Badhra diamond all these years. But now just leave it to me because diamonds are a girl's best friend.

Blair: Oh, Dorian --

[Dorian laughs]

Dorian: Ha! Ah!

Blair: I can't believe it. You could have been killed, the door --

Dorian: Oh, life is all about taking risks, Blair. It's what makes you feel alive!

Blair: Yeah, yeah, that might be what makes you feel alive. I've got kids to think about.

Dorian: Well, I've got you and I've got Cassie and I've got Kelly, and that's why I did this -- for our family!

Blair: Yeah. And now we're all going to be cursed, Dorian.

Dorian: No. Nobody is going to curse us, nobody!

Blair: Yeah, you stole the diamond!

Dorian: I did not! It's rightfully mine! I'm Victor Lord's widow!

Blair: Oh, yeah? Well, I don't think Viki's going to think like that.

Dorian: Oh, yeah? Well, Viki stole Llanfair from me! I'm just taking back what's mine!

Blair: By marrying Mitch Laurence?

Dorian: I told you, Mitch is going to get everything he deserves for what he did to you, to Cassie, to me.

Blair: Yeah, if we all don't die first.

Dorian: Oh. Okay. Wait up, Blair.

Viki: Jessica! Jessie!

Dorian: Whoa! Ah! Oh! We made it! We're safe!

Viki: Jessica?

Blair: Oh --

Dorian: Oh, my God!

Blair: Who is that?

Dorian: It's Viki! Brush yourself --

Viki: Jessica!

Dorian: Why, Viki! I mean, my goodness --

Viki: Where's my daughter?

Dorian: Do I need to remind you this is no longer your --

Viki: Where is she?

Dorian: Your daughter -- I believe she's out in the garage with Mitch, something about a car --

Viki: You left her alone with that man?

Dorian: That man, I believe, is her father.

Viki: If something happens to her, I am holding you personally responsible.

Dorian: Oh! Tell me something that's new! Ooh.

Blair: Well, I hope Jessica’s all right.

Dorian: Viki -- she brings all these crises into her own life, and then she still manages to blame it on anybody else but herself!

Natalie: Mrs. Vega? Mrs. Vega! Jen. Hi.

Jen: Hi.

Natalie: Listen, I'm sorry about what happened to your father.

Jen: You know what? I've had enough people telling me they're sorry, okay? The last thing I need is for someone else to do it, especially you.

Natalie: Okay, fine. We're not friends. Let's just leave it that way.

Jen: Wait a minute. Are you engaged?

Natalie: Yeah. Cris and I are going to get married.

Jen: Great. Great. Could my life possibly get any worse?

Rex: So you have a thing for Jen, or did you decide you just can't bring Flash home to Mommy?

Joey: You know what? I don't have a thing for Jen or Flash. And Jen’s going through a lot of hard stuff right now. Last thing she needs is somebody like you hanging around.

Rex: What's that supposed to mean? You don't even know me, man.

Joey: I've known guys like you all my life -- hanging around the country club, hanging around with women who have more money than brains. You're just like them -- a user.

Rex: Where is all this coming from?

Joey: I know what you did to Jessica.

Rex: I didn't do anything to her!

Joey: You pretended to be her brother!

Rex: Well, I thought I was!

Joey: No. No, you were just doing your thing, just like with Jen. But I'll clue you in on something -- if you even try to sleep with Jen --

Rex: Hey, you know what?

[Rex whistles]

Rex: Okay. I've had Jen, okay? And if I wanted her or Jessica or both of them in bed together, it's exactly where they'd be.

[Rex crashes into lockers]

Jessica: I'm back.

Mitch: Did you speak to the doctor?

Jessica: Yeah.

Mitch: What did he say?

Jessica: He said -- he said he's really sorry, but he doesn't think that you're going to get your sight back.

Mitch: The blindness is permanent?

Jessica: Yes, but he -- but he also said that -- that nothing's for sure and not to give up hope.

Mitch: No. No, this is my fault. This is my punishment. I'm being put in total darkness for all the things I've done.

Jessica: No. I mean, if it's anybody's fault, it's mine. If I hadn't have pushed you --

Mitch: No, no, no. Jessica, no. No, none of it is your fault. You're the only thing that's getting me through this. You're not going to leave me, are you?

Jessica: Um -- Dorian's going to be here soon --

Mitch: No, no, I need you. I need you. Please don't leave me alone here in the dark. Please.

Jessica: Okay. I'll stay, I promise.

Bo: Lindsay, why do you feel that you have to protect your family from Mitch?

Lindsay: None of this would have happened if it hadn't been for Mitch.

Bo: What wouldn't have happened?

Lindsay: I was so in love with Troy, but he didn't want me. I was upset and angry, and Mitch used that. He twisted it.

Bo: And what did Mitch do?

Lindsay: He told me that everyone was laughing at me. No. Nora told me that.

Bo: Lindsay, what did Mitch do?

Lindsay: He gave me the gun.

Bo: Did he tell you to shoot Troy?

Lindsay: I don't want to talk about Mitch Laurence anymore. He scares me. He scares everybody.

Bo: Well, he doesn't scare me.

Marcie: Whoa, man!

Al: What?

Marcie: Well, now I know you're not the Voice of the Night. I mean, he'd certainly never live like this.

Al: Well, you know, I've been busy. I haven't really had time to clean.

Marcie: Yeah. Since when, freshman year? Oh, no, no, no, it's okay. You're really sick. But that's okay. You know, I got everything here you need to make you feel better.

Al: Oh.

Marcie: I got tissues, I got orange juice, and I got "Motor Fever." My brothers liked it.

[Marcie chuckles]

Al: You know Marcie, you didn't have to do any of this.

Marcie: It's okay. Oh. You're into "Rolling Stone."

Al: Yeah, but, you know, "Motor Fever's" good, too.

Marcie: Oh! You know what? I forgot the best! I got you some egg drop soup from Wong Foo's. It's the best. You're going to feel better in no time.

Al: Yeah. Uh --

[Marcie chuckles]

Al: I feel like something that got scraped off the sidewalk. I think it's going to take more than soup to make me feel better. Do you have any aspirin or --

Marcie: Hmm --

Al: Or anything because I --

Marcie: Well, yeah, I might. Let me check. Let me check for you, okay. No. I just got these a-- you know, these diet pills -- you know, the ones the doctors gave me, that made me so weird. I never clean out my stupid purse. I should really throw them out.

Al: You know -- I may have some aspirin in the bathroom. Do you mind checking?

Marcie: Yeah, sure, I'll go look.

Marcie: Couldn't find any, but I brought you some water anyway.

Al: Thanks.

Marcie: Okay, so, we're going to go make the bed, and then you are going to get some sleep.

Dorian: There.

Blair: Okay, okay.

Dorian: Now, of course, you're going to need some full-spectrum antibiotics, the same kind that Dr. MacIver prescribed for Mitch.

Blair: Oh, no -Troy, Troy. I was supposed to meet up with him hours ago. I know he's going to wonder where I've been.

Dorian: And we certainly don't want him to find out.

Blair: No, I'll -- I'll go call right now.

Viki: All right, Jessica’s car is gone and there is no one in the garage and something has happened because a shelf is down and there's stuff spilled everywhere.

Dorian: Viki, why don't you just calm down, all right, so you can think more clearly.

Viki: No. I think I'll call the police!

Dorian: Oh, my goodness. Aren't we being melodramatic?

[Phone rings]

Viki: Oh. Hello.

Jessica: Mom, hi. I got your messages.

Viki: Jessica, where are you? Are you okay?

Jessica: Yeah, I'm fine. Listen, I'll explain it all to you when I get home, okay? I'll be there soon.

Viki: Fine. I'll see you there. Bye. Oh.

Dorian: Dare I use the word "overreacting"?

Viki: Not where my daughter's safety is concerned, okay?

Dorian: Mm-hmm.

Viki: I don't want her in this house, not as long as you and Mitch live here!

Dorian: Fine with me. Instruct her not to come here.

Viki: I will do that, because it is more than obvious that you and your despicable husband are up to something criminal!

Dorian: Oh, are we?

Viki: And you know something, Dorian? I'm going to find out what it is.

[Dorian chuckles]

Dorian: Ooh. You can try, Viki. You can try.

Natalie: Jen, listen, okay? It just happened a few days ago. Cris just asked me to marry him and --

Jen: I don't care, okay? You think all I care about is you and Cristian?

Natalie: No, I don’t.

Jen: Yes, you do. You think the whole universe revolves around you.

Natalie: I don't think that the whole universe revolves around me. In fact, you're the one who thinks that.

Carlotta: What's going on? Are you all right?

Jen: Yeah.

Carlotta: Why were you yelling at her?

Natalie: Jen just got upset because she saw my engagement ring.

Jen: I don't care, okay? I really don't care.

Carlotta: You have the ring on? You've accepted Cristian’s proposal?

Natalie: Yeah. Yeah, I have.

Carlotta: I thought you said that you wouldn't marry Cristian without my blessing.

Natalie: Yeah, and I know that we talked about that, but --

Carlotta: Yeah, but that was really a lie because you don't really care what I want or what I think about what I want for Cristian’s life.

Natalie: I do care, Mrs. Vega, but you're the one who doesn't care about what I think or what I want!

Carlotta: When you go behind my back, how can I?

Natalie: Excuse me! How about Jen?

Carlotta: What about Jen?

Natalie: For God's sake, she went around saying that she was having Cristian’s baby when all along she was having Al's baby! What, you still think she's America’s sweetheart?

Carlotta: How dare you speak to me like this!

Natalie: Okay. I'm sorry. I do want your blessing, Mrs. Vega.

Carlotta: Well, not enough to respect my wishes.

Natalie: Yeah, that's true, because I'm not going to put my life on hold and I'm not going to put my happiness on hold because you're going to refuse to let your son live his own life!

Dorian: Hmm.

Blair: All right. Would you put this away, please?

[Dorian chuckles]

Dorian: Any word from Dr. MacIver?

Blair: Yeah, I left a message for him. Now, put that away! You said that this Badhra diamond has a curse on it. Please, Dorian.

Dorian: Oh. Come on, Blair. Lighten up.

Blair: Don't "lighten up" me. You stole the diamond and we got locked in the dungeon and the door slammed!

Dorian: No, no, no. That was just -- I'm sure that Victor had a very special security system installed.

Blair: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm sure.

Dorian: That's all.

Blair: Yeah, and I'm sure that this diamond has a curse on it. Whoever has it is doomed, Dorian. Please put it away.

[Doorbell rings]

Dorian: Hmm --

Blair: Please put it away!

Dorian: Lois!

Blair: Dorian!

Dorian: What is the -- wait a minute. Okay, okay.

Blair: Oh, oh, what are you going to do? I tell you, why don't you take it out the door with you? That would be really, really great.

Dorian: Yeah?

Blair: Put it away!

Dorian: Okay. Happy?

Blair: Yes!

Dorian: Lois! The door -- useless. Bo.

Bo: Dorian. Where's Mitch?

Dorian: Do come in. Mitch is out.

Bo: Well, I've got a few questions for him.

Blair: Hi.

Bo: But as long as I'm here, maybe I can run a few things past the two of you.

Blair: What, is it about Todd?

Bo: No. It's about Lindsay. Lindsay just told me that Mitch gave her the gun that she used to shoot Sam.

Blair: What? Mitch put Lindsay up to killing Sam?

Bo: Hmm, no. I think he put her up to killing Troy, but he wanted her to use Todd’s gun. That way he could turn around and frame Todd for the crime.

Blair: Oh, yeah. See? I knew that, Bo. I told you that Mitch was behind it! I knew it!

Dorian: Ahem.

Bo: Hmm. You involved in this, Dorian?

Dorian: You must be joking. I wasn't even in Llanview. You and Viki have such an exaggerated sense of my powers.

Bo: Dorian, either you're up to your false eyelashes in all of Mitch Laurence's crimes or you're in way over your head this time.

Rex: Hey, listen, I -- I didn't mean what I said about getting Jessica and Jen in bed. You just sort of pushed my buttons, you know?

Joey: You know what? Save it.

Rex: Well, I just wanted to say that I'm sorry.

Joey: Good. Go find someone else to mess with, not Jen and not Jessica, because I'm not going to let you.

Marcie: Eat the soup.

Al: I'm not hungry.

Marcie: Eat the soup.

Al: I'll eat it later. I promise, okay?

[Marcie sighs]

Al: Right now I'm going to try to get some sleep.

Marcie: Okay. That's a good idea. Now, remember, you got to keep your fluids up, so you finish that soup. You eat it and you finish it, and you keep drinking your water.

Al: I'll try.

Marcie: Hey -- thanks for trying to figure out who the Voice of the Night was for me. That was really sweet of you.

Al: It's no big deal.

Marcie: It was to me. You know, I never thought I'd say this, but you're a real good friend.

Dorian: So anything that goes wrong in this town, Mitch is to blame?

Bo: I guess it's true what they say about married couples, isn't it? Because you're starting to sound exactly like your husband.

Dorian: This is no laughing matter. It's a very serious thing when someone is being persecuted for something they did not do. You do remember the same thing happened to me, and all because of Viki.

Bo: Yeah, but as it turns out, Victor Lord was alive, so you were both innocent.

Dorian: And Mitch is innocent. I am confident that he is going to be completely exonerated.

Bo: Uh-huh. And they said romance was dead.

Dorian: Huh.

[Phone rings]

Dorian: Lois! I'm sure you can show yourself out. Lois? Why doesn't she answer the phone?

Bo: She is a piece of work, isn't she?

Blair: That's Dorian.

Bo: Good thing her line of bull about Mitch doesn't run in your family, though, because your testimony against him --

Blair: Actually, Bo --

Bo: Actually what, Blair?

Blair: I am not going to testify against Mitch.

Bo: You're what?

Blair: I'm not going to testify.

Bo: Why?

Blair: I have children to think about. That's why.

Bo: Blair, we will protect your children. You know that.

Blair: Oh, really? Do I? Do I, Bo, really?

Bo: Did Dorian convince you to do this?

Blair: No, I made that decision on my own and I'm sorry. I'm sticking with that decision.

Bo: Well, I'm sorry, too, Blair, because this isn't over. All right? If we have to, we'll subpoena you.

[Blair sighs]

Blair: Who was that on the phone?

Dorian: The hospital.

Blair: Well, what happened? What's wrong?

Dorian: It's Mitch.

Blair: What is it?

Dorian: There's been a terrible, terrible accident.

Blair: What?

Dorian: And Mitch has gone blind!

Viki: Mitch is blind? What happened?

Jessica: It was terrible. All that he was trying to do was hold me, you know? And I -- and I pushed him against a -- these shelves. He fell against these shelves, and the rust remover spilled all in his eyes.

Natalie: Mitch?

Jessica: Yeah, and the doctor doesn't think that he's going to ever see again. And it's all my fault.

Viki: No, it is not your fault. That was an accident, Jessie.

Jessica: No, you weren't there. You didn't see it. He was screaming. It was awful.

Viki: Sweetheart, oh -- my God, I'm so sorry. That must have been just horrible for you. Honey, you should just sort of sit down, take it easy for a minute.

Jessica: I can't do that. I have to pack.

Viki: You have to pack? For what?

Jessica: I have to go to the hospital, spend the night with night with him. I --

Natalie: Are you crazy, Honey?

Viki: No, Jessica. No, you cannot do that.

Jessica: I have to.

Viki: No! You think you have to because you feel guilty about it, that's all.

Jessica: It's not about guilt. I made a promise. I promised him that I wouldn't let him go through it alone. I have to go.

Marcie: Excuse me. Can I -- is it okay if I leave something for the Voice of the Night?

Man: Whatever.

Lindsay: He never comes home! He never comes home! Oh, Sam.

Mitch: Who's there?

Jessica: It's me. It's Jessica.

Dorian: Oh, what a wonderful, marvelous, unexpected -- I mean, it couldn't have happened better if I planned it myself.

Blair: Well, I don't care if you planned it or not, you better watch your back.

Dorian: Mitch is blind as a bat. I can go after him and he won't even see me coming.

>> On the next "One Life to Live" --

Carlotta: If you ask my son to choose you over me, you'll lose him.

Joey: If anything, his blindness actually makes him more dangerous.

Mitch: Fair warning, Dorian. Do not betray me.
