>>Previously on "One Life to Live" --

Man: I just came from my room. I've been robbed.

Renee: There she is!

Officer: On your feet, kid.

Jessica: I didn't choose this family, either, but it's the only one that I have, and it's pretty amazing.

Todd: If Victor Lord dies right now, Laurence gets everything.

Nurse: Mr. Lord passed away a little while ago.

Viki: What are you doing in my house?

Mitch: It's not yours anymore, Viki.

Viki: House, my home, my family's home. Get out.

Mitch: Seeing as how ear father is most certainly dead this time, everything belongs to me, including Llanfair.

Viki: Well, I don't actually care what my father's will says. This will never be your home -- never.

Cristian: See that empty lot over there? That's where we used to play stickball when I was a kid. I remember my first home run went right through -- what's her name? -- Mrs. Rivera's window. Seeing your mom really got to you, huh?

Natalie: It's just she doesn't understand me, you know? I mean, sometimes I just -- I think that no one does.

Cristian: I want to.

Natalie: I left Llanfair because I felt like I couldn't fit in. And then we go to your mom's, and that turned out to be a total disaster.

Cristian: My mom was wrong. I'm glad you stood up to her.

Natalie: Cristian, I just -- I want to know where I'm going to fit in. I mean, how am I going to be happy and blend in?

Cristian: Don't even think about blending in. If you were blending in, then you wouldn't be the woman I love.

Natalie: Yeah, the woman you love has got blonde hair.

Cristian: It is still you.

Natalie: Yeah, it's still me. It's still me, the same girl with the psycho husband that tried to kill her. And every time I open my mouth, I get myself into more trouble, and I keep making all these wrong decisions.

Cristian: You know what you need to do? You need to sit back and just take a night off this stuff.

Natalie: Oh, really?

Cristian: Yeah.

Natalie: And how am I supposed to do that?

Cristian: Well, you know, there's a party going on in the student union. We can go check it out, see our friends, show off this gorgeous blonde hair of yours. What do you say?

Natalie: Yeah. But first I've got to do something about this hair.

Cristian: You look great. Trust me.

Natalie: With my life.

Cristian: Okay, then.

Rex: You look pretty hot tonight. You alone?

Jen: For now. Why isn't there any music?

Man: Good question. What is this -- a party or a funeral?

Second man: I thought you said the Voice of the Night was going to D.J. this thing.

Marcie: He'll be here.

Man: When? After we all die of boredom?

Marcie: I e-mailed him about a hundred times, and he said he was coming.

Emily: So you really think he's going to reveal his identity tonight?

Marcie: I don't know. But he said he'd do the party, and I believe him.

Shawna: Well, you'd believe anybody or anything.

Emily: Look, how hard can it be to play a little music? Oh!

Shawna: You know, I say we go to the Phi Beta Sig party. Let's just get out of here.

Mollie: Yeah, at least there will be music there.

Man: Yeah, and plenty of beer.

Voice of the night: Hey, everybody. Sorry I'm late. You ever notice how daily life can sometimes interfere with the night? Not to worry. The darkness is here. Let the party begin.

[Music plays]

Joey: Renee, just listen to me, okay?

Renee: I don't care, Joey. She's getting away with robbery.

Flash: I didn't take anything from your cheesy hotel, lady.

Renee: You watch your mouth, girl.

Joey: Look, let me handle this.

Flash: Whatever.

Joey: Look, there was no evidence that she was involved with the robbery. She emptied out her pockets.

Renee: Joey, that doesn't necessarily mean --

Joey: The cop said he couldn't even arrest her. She lives on the street. She had, what, like, three bucks to her name? Come on. Give her another chance.

Renee: You know, you are really lucky to have someone like Joey on your side. Be smart. Don't screw it up. Joey, Darling, I really hope you know what you're doing.

Joey: So, you were about to tell me about C.J., how you two got separated.

Flash: Whoa, wait a minute. You're not going to get on me about that robbery?

Joey: You said you didn't do it.

Flash: I swear. I mean, the only reason I went back to that hotel was to give that lady back money for the vase.

Joey: I believe you.

Flash: I should have -- I should have ripped her off. I mean, I could have. The security at that place is a joke.

Joey: Flash --

Flash: You -- you are so completely gullible. I mean, I could have lied to you and you would completely believe me. Stupid.

Joey: What's going on? Why are you doing this?

Flash: What? What are you talking about?

Joey: Pushing me away. I thought we were through all this. You came to me and asked me to help you find C.J.

Flash: I made a mistake. Just forget about it.

Riley: What's up with you?

Flash: This town is so lame. Do you have anything to drink?

Riley: No. Dry. But I know a party that's going down. Definitely be booze there. You interested?

Flash: Always up for a party. So, who do you want to be, huh? Jeffrey Putnam, William J. Shockney? Got all the I.D. you need.

Riley: I got all the I.D. we need.

[Flash chuckles]

Flash: You go to Llanview U.?

Riley: Right. But the I.D. says I do.

Flash: Nice, nice. Ready? Let's go.

[Music plays]

Marcie: That outfit's incredible. Did you get it at Logan's? You look so beautiful! Oh, you're going to have every guy in here putting the moves on you.

Jen: Well, that's the point. You want a sip?

Marcie: No, I don't drink. You know, too many calories.

Jen: More for me.

Marcie: Jen? You know, maybe you shouldn't be drinking, you know, so much so fast.

Jen: Why not?

Marcie: Didn't you tell me that you got really bad alcohol poisoning when you first moved to Llanview?

Jen: That was a long time ago. I drank like an entire bottle then.

Cristian: Forget them. You look great.

Natalie: I feel weird being back at a party at L.U.

Cristian: We're almost like real students again.

Natalie: Instead of dropouts? At least there's no Mitch Laurence or Victor Lord here.

Cristian: Right, so don't say their names.

Natalie: Well, easier said than done.

Marcie: You okay?

Jen: Yeah, never better. I don't -- I don't care about Cristian and Natalie.

Marcie: Jen?

Jen: Lighten up, Marcie. It's a party, okay? Right? So just -- I mean, I'm done thinking about all the stupid, pathetic things I did to try to hold on to Cristian. I made a lot of mistakes.

Natalie: I have made such huge mistakes, Cristian.

Cristian: Natalie --

Natalie: They're not going to all just disappear because we're at some party.

Jen: What was I thinking -- sleeping with Al Holden? Getting pregnant with his kid?

Marcie: You were confused.

Jen: I mean, when that didn't work, I just hooked up with Mitch Laurence.

Marcie: What a creep.

Jen: In the end, I still lost Cristian to Natalie.

Natalie: Cristian, I married Mitch Laurence.

Cristian: Yeah, but that -- that was because you thought that I had married Jen.

Natalie: That's no excuse.

Cristian: Natalie, you made a mistake. Just let it go.

Natalie: Yeah, but now I'm married to that lunatic and --

Natalie: Guess you told me.

Cristian: We're going to deal with everything that's gone down in the past few months and we're going to put it behind us. And then you know what we're going to do? We're going to smile because it's all over and we're together now -- happy. Always happy.

Jen: They make me sick.

Joey: Hey! Jess.

Jessica: Joey, you scared me.

Joey: What are you doing down here alone at night?

Jessica: Always the big brother. What are you doing here?

Joey: Beating myself up, trying to get through to someone who doesn't want my help.

Jessica: Let me guess -- Flash. Joey, why don't you just let her deal with her own problems?

Joey: I just -- I can tell I'm this close to reaching her.

Jessica: God, don't you -- we -- have enough to deal with right now?

Joey: Hey, we're going to make it through this together.

Jessica: Have I told you how glad I am that you're back?

Joey: You want some company?

Jessica: Oh, I'd love it.

[Music plays]

Voice of the night: Why is it under the cover of night in the cold, hard darkness, it's easier to step up to life's challenges? Maybe because we can't see too far ahead. Everything's hidden. We can believe that we have what it takes to face anything.

Al: Hey, Jen. You having fun?

Jen: A blast.

Al: Yeah. Me, too. You know, I really love this song, you know? It's so intense. You know, it's like -- it's like it speaks to me, I know, like I'm on a -- some kind of different level. You know what I mean? Huh.

Rex: Mi vodka es su vodka.

Jen: Hmm.

Al: Hey!

Brad: Hey.

Al: Buddy, what's up?

Brad: What's up, man? How you feeling?

Al: Oh, man, I feel fantastic.

Brad: So you're happy with your purchase?

Al: Oh, yes, I finished my English Lit paper, man. I'm telling you, I wrote the hell out of it. The words, they were, like, pouring out of my head and onto the page. Best paper I ever wrote. I'm telling you -- totally smooth!

Brad: You don't -- you don't look so smooth.

Al: Well, you know, I -- I probably shouldn't have taken another hit, but I was starting to crash and I had a lot of things to do, so I didn't want to --

Brad: Hold on. I got something that'll level you off.

Al: Wait -- wait. What, is this like -- this is, like, downers or something?

Brad: No, no, no, no, no. Trust me.

Al: I don't want to go down.

Brad: Trust me, man, you're not going to fall into a hole or anything like that. It'll just kind of level you off, all right?

Al: Level. All right, cool. Here. Here's money.

Rex: Remember, I get 20% for bringing in customers.

Brad: Holden's going to be a good one.

Rex: Yes, he is.

[Brad chuckles]

Joey: Are you sure you want to do this?

Jessica: Yeah. It'll be fun. There's someone I want to introduce you do. Joey, this is Natalie, your half sister and my twin, who is actually a redhead.

Joey: It's so nice to finally meet you.

Natalie: Yeah. Finally.

Joey: Listen, I know you've been through a lot lately.

Natalie: Yeah, you could say that.

Joey: You probably wonder how you've gotten yourself into this crazy family. You know, if you ever want to talk or --

Natalie: Thanks. I'll -- I'll keep that in mind.

Marcie: Hey. I didn't know you'd be here.

Joey: Neither did I. Hi, Marcie.

Marcie: Well, there goes my theory.

Joey: Excuse me?

Marcie: The theory that you're the Voice of the Night. You know, he's so smart and intuitive, and he really cares about people. But since you're here now, I mean, you can't be him.

Joey: Well, he does say some pretty wise things. I could probably take a couple lessons from him. Will you excuse me?

Voice of the night: When you feel around in the darkness, your hands reaching out in front of you for someone, anyone, and you actually find them, and they're ready to hold you and never let go -- well, do you really need anything else?

Jessica: Natalie -- what's your problem? Why were you so rude to Joey? He's just trying to get to know you.

Natalie: Why did you tell Mom that I'm moving out?

Jessica: I had no choice. She was going to find out sometime.

Natalie: I wanted to tell her myself at the right time.

Jessica: Sorry, but you're not the only one going through hell lately.

Natalie: Oh. Someone try to cut out your heart?

Jessica: No. I meant Mom. And with you moving out and not telling her, it really hurt her.

Natalie: There you go again -- being that good daughter, being the only one who considers Mom's feelings.

Jessica: Well, somebody has to.

Natalie: You know, I guess you two really do make that perfect mother-daughter team. But I guess, you know, it must make sense because she raised you, you know. You're the one she loves. You're the real daughter.

Jessica: So, I see what's going on here now. You're moving out of Llanfair because of me. You still resent me, just like you always have, just from the minute that you moved --

Joey: Hey --

Jessica: Into Llanview and you pretended to be my friend.

Joey: Hey, hey, you really think this is the place for this?

Natalie: Good a time as any.

Joey: Natalie, there's a lot going on in our family right now, things you should probably know about. Why don't we all sit down and we can talk.

Natalie: You know what? There's no need to talk about anything because there's nothing I need to know. I'm not a part of your family.

[Music plays]

Jen: Want to dance? What are you doing?

Marcie: Watching out for you. Rex is bad news. You know, he's not a nice guy.

Jen I don't want a nice guy. You know what? I had a nice guy, and he fell in love with somebody else.

Marcie: Listen, I know it's hard, Jen. You know, Joey Buchanan's here, I'm crazy about him, and he just keeps on looking at that little weirdo.

Jen: Oh, yeah. So that's the same thing, right? You and that priest -- that's the same thing that's going on with me -- Cristian and Natalie throwing it in my face?

Marcie: No, no. I just mean that --

Jen: You know what? It's totally different because I was in love with Cristian for two years, and you and Joey Buchanan had, like, maybe two conversations.

Marcie: Well, I didn't mean --

Jen: Actually, you're lucky, Marcie, because -- because you've never actually been with a guy and you probably never will be, so you -- you don't know what it feels like.

Cristian: I saw you and Jess talking. Were you guys fighting?

Natalie: It's -- it's all my fault. I mean, I brought this on myself. I brought all of this on myself.

Cristian: Natalie, come on. This is your night off, remember?

Natalie: I came out of nowhere, and I went after Jessica and her family, and I forced myself on them, and I wonder why I am still an outsider.

Cristian: Look, they're your family, but that's all they are. If you're a Buchanan or a Balsom, it's all the same to me. I still love you the same.

Natalie: What would I do without you?

Cristian: You will never have to find out. You want something to drink? I'm thirsty.

Jessica: Okay, so maybe you don't care about our family, but I thought that you'd like to know what's going on with your husband. You do remember Mitch Laurence, right?

Natalie: What did he do now?

Jessica: Our grandfather died this morning.

Natalie: I thought he was getting some sort of artificial heart or something.

Jessica: He did. He had a stroke.

Natalie: Okay, why don't you tell me at this has to do with Mitch?

Jessica: Grandpa Victor rewrote his will. He left the entire estate to Mitch Laurence.

Joey: But we can fight it. Mom said it's nowhere near a done deal.

Jessica: Yeah, but we have to be realistic. I mean, we could lose everything -- the money, the paper, even Llanfair.

Natalie: Hey, I grew up with nothing. I can get used to doing it again.

Jessica: Really? When you came here, you seemed pretty anxious to get your hands on the family money.

Natalie: Well, I guess I finally realized that the family money wasn't all it was cracked up to be. Neither was the whole family thing.

Joey: Hey, I don't believe that.

Natalie: And you don't even know me. Now, I haven't met Kevin or Clint, but you've been here, what, a couple of weeks, and this is the first time we're meeting?

Joey: That's because you were on the run from Mitch Laurence. And then after the kidnapping, Mom said you probably needed some space.

Natalie: Yeah, well, she was right. Maybe we could try this again in a few more years, okay?

Jessica: Natalie --

Natalie: Stay out of this.

Joey: Stop it, both of you. We're fighting Mitch Laurence here, not each other.

Jen: Why are you even here? Are you just -- are you just trying to punish me?

Cristian: Jen, you've had enough. Here, why don't you --

Jen: You can't resist rubbing it in my face, can you? How much -- you guys are just a great couple, how much you love each other!

Cristian: Jen, you're drunk.

Jen: This is payback, right? That's what this is!

Cristian: What?

Jen: For me trying to keep you and Natalie apart! For you guys -- for trying to trap you into marriage, right? Bet you just told her all about it, right? I bet you guys had a good laugh about how much I tried to hold on to you.

Cristian: Jen, look, calm down. That's not how it is. Don't do this.

Jen: What? What, do you want me to just put on a happy face and pretend you didn't completely break my heart?

Cristian: Jen --

Jen: You did this to me! You made me this way! You stopped loving me.

[Jen cries]

Cristian: What are you looking at?

Jen: Why -- why -- why did you pick Natalie over me?

Voice of the night: Sometimes the night makes us strong, brings out the best part in us. And sometimes it drags out all the hurt, all the pain, and the worst in us takes over.

Marcie: Cristian Vega isn't worth even one of your tears. Come on, Jen, I'll take you home.

Jen: I don't want to go home.

Marcie: You can stay over in my dorm room. I'll make popcorn --

Jen: I said no! Just go!

Marcie: I'm just trying to help, Jen.

Jen: Who asked you to?

Marcie: Jen --

Jen: Just go!

Marcie: But --

Natalie: You're wrong, Jen. Cristian didn't tell me what you did to break us apart. But you're going to, right now.

Mitch: You have exquisite taste, Viki. Hmm -- I shall feel quite at home among the Lord possessions.

Viki: Well, you won't get the chance because you're going to be in prison where you belong, and I will be rid of you forever.

Mitch: Perhaps you haven't heard. The Commonwealth's case against me is just riddled with holes. My lawyer says --

Viki: I don't give a damn what your lawyer says.

Mitch: Well, I can't imagine where this hostility is coming from. After all, it was only Natalie whose life was to be sacrificed for your father. Jessica was never in danger.

Viki: And that makes it all right?

Mitch: Well, it's Jessica's life that matters, and she is your favorite daughter. She's the one you love.

Viki: I love both my girls equally.

Mitch: I was there, remember? I saw you hesitate when you thought you had to choose which daughter to let die. But I can't blame you. Who could? I mean, Natalie is just a cheap imitation of our Jessica.

Viki: Jessica is nothing to you. I don't even want you to say her name again.

Mitch: What about Natalie? May I say Mrs.? She is still my wife.

Viki: I will fight to the death to keep you away from both my girls. Now, get out.

[Music plays]

Jen: Don't you guys share everything?

Natalie: Cristian didn't want to betray you because that's the kind of guy he is.

Jen: Right, right.

Natalie: But I need to know.

Jen: Why? Come on, it's over. You won. Congratulations.

Natalie: I need to know what it is you did to break us apart so that maybe I can stop blaming myself for all the mistakes that I made.

Jen: Oh, you're such a good girl now, aren't you?

Natalie: What?

Jen: Pretending to be so upfront and honest with Cristian. It's great.

Natalie: I'm not pretending.

Jen: You may have fooled Cristian, made him forget what you really are, but I remember, okay? I haven't forgotten.

Natalie: What are you talking about?

Jen: When you first came to town, all you wanted to do was steal all of Jessica's money. You wanted to take over her life because you didn't have a life of your own. You were nothing but trash, and you still are.

Natalie: What's this all about?

Jen: I don't blame you, you know, because I used to be a good girl. I used to be sweet and kind and honest and all that kind of stuff, and it got me nothing. You know what? And you're no better than I am, Natalie.

Natalie: I never said that I was!

Jen: The only difference is you got Cristian, okay? You stole him away from me. Are you happy? And I will hate you for that till the day that I die.

Natalie: All right. We used to be friends --

Jen: Friends? No. It was a game just to torture you.

Natalie: You're not making any sense.

Jen: I knew that you were in love with Cristian and that he was in love with you.

Natalie: You asked me to be your maid of honor. I mean, I threw a bridal shower for you.

Jen: Because I knew how miserable it would make you.

Natalie: Wait a minute. So that whole thing with Mrs. Vega, how she blurted out that I was in love with Cristian, and you were so sad -- that was all an act?

Jen: You were so embarrassed. I loved every minute of it.

Natalie: How could you be so calculating?

Jen: I knew Cristian was going to break up with me, so you know what I did? I slept with Al Holden and I got myself pregnant.

Natalie: That was Al's baby?

Jen: But I made Cristian think it was his and I guilted him into marrying me.

Natalie: I married Mitch Laurence.

Jen: I couldn't have planned it any better if I tried.

Natalie: Do you have any idea what you've done?

Jen: I lost, okay? You and Cristian still got together. He still broke up with me, even when he thought that -- that I lost his baby. I even worked with Mitch to try to keep you two apart.

Natalie: I can't -- I can't believe that you would do all of that just to keep Cristian.

Jen: Wouldn't you?

Shawna: So, you know who this Voice of the Night guy is or what?

Brad: No. Why? Do you?

Shawna: But you seem like the kind of guy who's on the inside track, knows people's secrets.

Brad: Well, I don't know that one. But I guess if I did know, I wouldn't say anything because the guy clearly likes his privacy.

Joey: Hey. How's it going? Some of you guys helped out at the community center last week, right?

Man: So?

Joey: Well, I was wondering if you might want to come by and do it on a more regular basis.

Man: What a buzz kill.

Riley: It's a party. Ease up, okay?

Joey: Weren't you guys playing at the garage the other night? You're really talented.

Riley: Thanks.

Joey: No, no, that song you played -- Smashing Pumpkins, "Age of Innocence"?

Riley: Yeah.

Joey: Incredible.

Riley: We jam every night. Come by if you're in the square.

Joey: I will.

Riley: Just chill on the whole do-good thing. You give some people some space, they might surprise you.

Flash: Hey, Rev. I'm sorry that I got all weird on you before.

Joey: When you're ready to trust me and let me trust you, come by the community center, tell me about C.J., because the only way we're going to find him is if you clue me in to what was going on when he disappeared.

Jessica: Joey, I was looking for you.

Joey: I needed some air.

Jessica: I should have known you'd be with Flash.

Joey: Jess --

Jessica: What's going on between the two of you?

Joey: There is nothing going on between the two of us. Weren't you the one that said we have enough to worry about?

Jessica: Look, Joey, I know you and I know that you're trying to help this girl no matter what it takes. But whether or not you'd like to admit it, Flash could be trouble.

Joey: Thanks, Sis. I'm a big boy.

[Music plays]

Jessica: Flash?

Flash: What are you doing here?

Jessica: I was just -- I --

Flash: Came to see how the other half lives?

Jessica: No. I just wanted to come and talk to you --

Flash: And what? Came to check out your brother's new charity case? Fine. Come on in.

Flash: Did you come to welcome me to the neighborhood? Oh, right. Right, you don't live in this neighborhood. You live in a mansion on an estate.

Jessica: Well, you would know. You were at my house looking at all of my family pictures.

Flash: Is this a school project or something, see how the Angel Square kids live and write a report about it?

Jessica: No, Flash, I just wanted to come --

Flash: Or are you just bored? You got nothing going on in your own life, so you latch on to some poor, little street urchin how do you feel, Jessica, better about yourself now?

Jessica: Look, I'm sorry that I followed you here. It's just you and Joey are hanging out all the time now, and I really love my brother, and I don't want to see anything bad happen to him, okay?

Flash: If you're so worried about your brother, then why don't you just tell him to stay the hell away from me?

Jessica: Because that's not why I came here. I just wanted to talk with you about --

Flash: The butler's off tonight. Let yourself out.

[Music plays]

Voice of the night: You ever find yourself looking into people's windows as you pass their houses? Night's the perfect time for that. You see the light of other people's lives shining through the glass, taking away the darkness. You stand there and watch them laugh and smile and kiss, and you wish to God you were inside.

Man: Hey! You! Give me your money!

Jessica: Very funny, Joey.

Man: I said give me what you got.

Jessica: Here, just take it. Please, just don't hurt me.

Man: That, too.

Jessica: My father gave this to me for my Sweet 16. No, it's --

Man: I said everything.

[Music plays]

[Music stops]

Man: Huh?

[Rex whistles]

Guard: Party's over, folks. Curfew.

[All groan]

Guard: 10 minutes. Let's go!

Riley: After-party at the garage!

Jen: Whoo!

Riley: No one will hassle us there.

Emily: Can I go with you?

Riley: Yeah.

Jen: The party's over?

Rex: No, it's just moving.

Jen: Hmm.

Marcie: I know that you hate me right now, but I'm your friend and you're really drunk.

Jen: So?

Marcie: So don't go home with Rex. You know, he's a total sleaze.

Jen: Get me out of here.

Al: Listen, I -- I saw what just happened. I know how you feel.

Marcie: You don't know anything.

Al: Jen being the center of your universe -- all she has to do is pay attention to you and it's a great day. You make her smile, and it's like you're important, like you really mean something to her.

Marcie: You're still in love with her.

Al: No. No, I'm not. Thank God -- because when Jen gets what she wants from you, she shuts you out, just like she did to you right now.

Marcie: Jen drank too much and she needs my help, and I'm not going to let her down!

Al: She doesn't deserve your help. You got to let the girl make her own mistakes.

Marcie: You're one to talk about making mistakes.

Al: You're right. But I know what it's like to be caught up in Jen's world, especially when you don't have any real friends of your own.

Marcie: I have other friends.

Al: Who?

Marcie: The Voice of the Night.

Al: Really? You know him?

Marcie: Yeah, we have a very special connection, something you would never comprehend. And I'll prove it. I'll prove it to all of you. Mollie?

Mollie: Yeah?

Marcie: Do you want to see the Voice of the Night face to face? I know where the sound booth is.

Mollie: Okay.

Shawna: Sure. Why not? See who this guy is. His voice is kind of sexy.

Marcie: Are you coming?

Al: Yeah.

[Music plays]

Marcie: It's locked.

Natalie: Jen told me everything.

Cristian: I'm sorry. I should have told you.

Natalie: No. Look, I mean, I know that you didn't want to trash her. Look, it's -- it doesn't matter. I mean, I've been screwing things up way before Jen came into the picture.

Marcie: I can't believe no one was in there!

Shawna: Yeah, well, so much for solving the mystery of the voice --

Al: Well, ladies, this was really a blast, but I got to go. I'm going to go home. I'm beat.

Natalie: Yeah, we've all made mistakes that we're not proud of, but in time, you just try and move on. And I guess those mistakes become less and less important.

Cristian: As long as we're together, there's nothing we can't get past.

[Music plays]

Al: We're all looking for a friend in the night. Sometimes you make that connection, that true connection. You wake up in the morning and that person is still lying there beside you. But sometimes we make a mistake. We think they're the one, but they're not. Just a dream, a dream in the dark. And by morning your special someone is gone and you're all alone. So, boys and girls, the one thing that you can really hang on to is yourself. Just you. Easy to forget that. And when you do, you're in trouble.

Man: I said give it to me, you stupid little tramp, now! Give it to me!

Antonio: Get the hell off of her! You all right?
