Sam: You could have arranged for this whole thing to just happen.
Todd: Why would I do something like that?
Sam: To get Blair back.
Emily: He sleeps with you to shut you up.
Tillie: I know how you can get rid of Lindsay.
Troy: I'm not a killer.
Mitch: Don't you dare walk out on me.
Cristian: I'm not going to let Mitch or anyone else hurt you ever again.
[Car engine sputters, stalls]
Radio announcer: Watch out. The storm is definitely here. Weird about storms -- they bring out the good and they bring out the bad. Be careful, boys and girls. Make sure you know the difference.
[Troy raises volume]
Troy: Perfect -- nice and loud so no one will hear.
Lindsay: Do you really expect me to believe that you're going to kill me and then somehow blame it on a burglar?
Troy: I told you, Lindsay, I will do whatever it takes to shut you up for good! Yeah, there you go -- put up a fight! That way it looks more real in the end. Come on, little Lindsay. Let's make it good.
Lindsay: Well, go ahead.
Marcie: What if that creepy goblin guy is in there?
Jen: He's not.
Marcie: Positively positive?
Jen: Do you have a flashlight?
Marcie: A little one. The batteries are probably dead. I can't believe that guy splashed you. You are so totally wet. And he didn't even stop to say he was sorry? You must be freezing!
Marcie: Oh, I'm sorry. I'm nervous. I mean, what if this doesn't work out the way that you planned?
Jen: Nothing is going to happen.
Marcie: Jen, wait! Jen! Oh! Oh, are we going to do this now? Jen, wait!
Starr: Mom, Suzanne's alive. She wasn't killed! She's alive!
Blair: No, it -- it's not possible.
Starr: Mom, it is possible! She's alive! Yes!
Blair: I -- I saw you, Suzanne. I knelt by your body. I saw your blood.
Todd: What, is this some kind of a game? You want to tell me what the hell's going on here, Suzanne, because you're in a lot of trouble!
Sam: Save it, Todd. The charade's over.
Blair: I saw her -- I saw you get shot. She was dead.
Sam: Blair, it's all a fake -- the threats, Suzanne being shot, the capture of the bad guys by federal agents, your having to hide out -- all of it.
Sam: Yeah, everything. Bought and paid for by Todd.
Marcie: My cousin Janie -- she told me how to do this. Watch.
Marcie: Are you sure Mitch Laurence isn't in here?
Jen: No, I saw him walking off.
Marcie: Well, you know -- well, I can't stay very long, you know, because I'm starting my new job at the diner tomorrow and Mrs. Vega was really nice to hire me because, you know, I don't speak Spanish very much --
Jen: You're either with me or you're not, but stop babbling.
Radio announcer: Soft, cool, snow drifting down. You never know -- maybe just a little dusting, a soft white kiss, or maybe it'll be a blanket piled on top of blankets, covering up all kinds of secrets.
Mitch: I hope you haven't decided to try some kind of stalling tactic.
Man: No. No.
Mitch: Then what made you think I would bring the girl to you now?
Man: But there's so little time.
Mitch: Well, time is your problem, old man, and you've got the perfect way to solve it.
Man: But I -- I need -- I --
Mitch: Tell me what I want to hear. Tell me you've got the papers signed --
Mitch: And then she's yours.
Natalie: Well, we made it.
Cristian: Yes, we did.
Officer: All right, both of you stay right here.
Cristian: Ok, but we're fine, really.
Natalie: Yeah. I mean, no one's here.
Officer: Comm. Buchanan gave me strict instructions. I don't leave until I search the premises, so stand here front and center till I'm done.
Cristian: Yes, sir.
Natalie: Oh, my God. Well, that felt pretty good. I haven't laughed like that in a few years.
Cristian: Yeah, I know what you mean. So what do you think? You think we'll be ok here?
Natalie: Yeah, definitely. I mean, hey, as long as we're hiding out, it's pretty cool.
Cristian: Let's see if we're in luck. Oh -- can't have everything work in a storm like this. Sometimes the phone works. And sometimes it doesn't.
Natalie: I don't care. We don't need anything from the outside world.
Cristian: Nope. Got everything we need right here. Want my Ziploc bags.
Radio announcer: Assuming you're surviving this storm, what do you say we celebrate? Let's slip back in time -- a more innocent time maybe, but no less wild.
Nora: Excuse me, Gabrielle?
[Gabrielle lowers volume]
Gabrielle: Nora. You are here to see Bo?
Gabrielle: He'll probably be back in a few minutes.
Gabrielle: Is there a problem?
Nora: You know what? I'd like -- I think that we should -- don't you -- I think we need to get something out in the open.
Nora: Bo and I get along well together.
Nora: I mean, considering that we're divorced and everything, we get along very well because, I mean -- and I just -- I don't think that it's really -- I mean, I don't -- it's not a threat to you because we're just friends -- good friends. That's it.
Nora: Ok. And I happen to know that he's very happy because you're in his life.
Gabrielle: Thank you. That means a great deal to me. We all have insecurities, and, especially considering who I am -- or who I was, as you know -- I tend to look at the dark side of things, and, you know, I have to tell you Bo has taught me a lot. He's taught me how to look for the good and the positive in people and things. Don't go searching for the negative, and if there is something negative, don't worry yourself about it. Just face it head-on. You know, show it that it can't defeat you. Oh, I'm sorry. I'm rambling.
Nora: Oh, not at all, you're not -- no, not at all. No, you've just -- you've just given me some very good advice.
Gabrielle: I have?
Nora: Yes. And I'm going to take it. Thank you, Gabrielle.
Gabrielle: Oh, you're welcome.
Nora: Thank you very, very much.
Bo: Hey, Nora. Hey.
Bo: You wanted to talk to me?
Nora: No. I mean, yes. But, no. I mean, I wanted to ask you a question, a stupid question. I mean, I wanted to ask you about Lindsay, it was a stupid question, and I already know what you were going to say.
Bo: What's wrong?
Nora: Nothing. Gabrielle just gave me some really terrific advice.
Nora: Look to the good, face the negative head-on.
Lindsay: Oh! Oh!
Lindsay: Take what you came for.
Todd: Could you at least say something? I wanted -- I wanted to be with you and I wanted -- I wanted to be with my family. And I know that you -- you hate it because I lied, but I didn't -- I --
Heddy: Excuse me, Mrs. Manning. I'm sorry --
Blair: Yes, I know Starr's upset, Heddy.
Heddy: She's very confused.
Blair: I'll deal with her later. Just go upstairs and stay with the children until I call you.
Heddy: Yes, ma'am.
Andrew: Maybe we should just let Blair and Todd have some time alone.
Todd: Yeah, that's a really great idea, reverend. Why don't you guys get the hell out of here?
Sam: I'm not leaving.
Todd: Ok, this is my house, Sam, and that means I call the shots! Now, get the hell out of here!
Andrew: Sam, eventually Todd and Blair have to work this out together, so, please, let's give them some space.
Sam: I don't want to leave you alone, Blair.
Blair: I need some time to think. Everyone leave.
Todd: Oh, there you go. Come on, out of here. Blair needs --
Blair: Including you, Todd!
Todd: Ok, don't get all weird now just because --
Blair: Everyone leave.
Todd: This is my house.
Suzanne: Mr. Manning, I'm --
Todd: Don't even start.
Mitch: Your heart can't afford to disappoint me. You know that, don't you? Oh, yes. Yes, of course you do. Now, don't make me drive all the way out here again unless you have those papers signed, in your hand. Understood? Good. We're finished. Get back in the house.
Mitch: How much longer does he have?
Nurse: Not long.
Mitch: I'll have the girl here in a few days. You make sure he holds on. Do you hear me? Keep him alive.
Marcie: Did you find something?
Jen: Not yet. Did you check in the other room?
Marcie: Yeah, it's just the dining room. What's that?
Jen: His calendar.
Marcie: Is that what we're looking for? I mean, I kind of wish I knew what we were looking for.
Jen: Why don't you go through those papers over on the table?
Marcie: Right, gotcha.
Jen: There has to be something. I mean, that Mitch, he's such a creep, he makes my skin crawl. He has to have left some evidence somewhere.
Marcie: He's here!
Jen: Quiet! Must have just been the wind.
Marcie: Being here makes me so nervous that I -- I think I might have an accident. I really do!
Jen: Marcie, just be quiet.
Marcie: Jen, Jen, I can't. I can't. I'm so sorry. Oh, we got to go.
Jen: You go. Leave the flashlight with me.
Marcie: But you're sopping wet!
Jen: Go, go! Hurry!
Marcie: I'm going.
Jen: There's no way he left anything on this.
Todd: Blair's packed it in for the night, so you can take off.
Sam: We're supposed to take your word on that?
Todd: Yeah, you are. The lights are off and she's gone upstairs. Now, go away!
Sam: Oh, give it a rest, Todd.
Todd: You are just loving every minute of this, aren't you, Sam? You show up here with that -- that bimbo, you ruin my wedding, you make it impossible for me to ever be with Blair ever again --
Sam: It's a bunch of lies. I showed her the truth -- that Suzanne isn't dead, there were no hit men. It was all a lie.
Todd: You couldn't just leave well enough alone?
Sam: No, no, no. You just -- you didn't care who got hurt, Todd. You didn't care how badly Blair may have been traumatized, not to mention your kid. No, just so long that you got what you wanted.
Todd: I did what I had to do.
Sam: And you got what you deserve.
Todd: If you made it so that I am never with my family again --
Andrew: All right, that's enough!
Todd: I will make it --
Andrew: That is enough, both of you!
Blair: Hey -- please, everyone.
Suzanne: Mrs. Manning, are you all right? Is there anything I can --
Blair: I want to talk to Todd. Everyone else can leave.
Sam: Will you be all right?
Blair: Sam, I appreciate what you've done. You showed me the truth and I appreciate that, but there's nothing that you can do for me tonight, so good night. Good night, Andrew.
Andrew: Good night, Blair.
Todd: All right. Do you want to -- you want to start or should I?
Blair: I'm going to talk, Todd. And you're going to listen. And I want you to pay attention because I'm only going to say it once.
Todd: I don't know why you're acting like --
Blair: Sit down.
Man: Mr. Laurence?
Man: Mr. Laurence, are you here?
Man: Mr. Laurence?
Mitch: The Lord is mighty.
Man: Heed the messenger.
Mitch: Where are you?
Man: At the house, sir. How may I serve?
Mitch: You are to find my wife. I don't care how or who gets hurt. Get Natalie and bring her home to me.
Cristian: This should do it if it's not too wet.
Natalie: How are you?
Natalie: Well, all that snow.
Radio announcer: Nothing like a storm to help you see the truth, see what's really important. Right? The wind's howling, snow's getting deep, and you're all alone. All that matters is love. Look for it. Find it.
Natalie: I already have.
Radio announcer: This is shaping up to be one of those things you'll remember your whole life.
[Engine cranks, stalls]
Radio announcer: The night the world changed.
Blair: What you did -- not to me, not to us, but to Starr -- was unforgivable.
Todd: It's not one of my better --
Blair: I said don't talk, Todd, because I know what you're going to say. You just wanted your family back and it's my fault that all of this happened and that idea was a really stupid one, but you couldn't help it. You were desperate because you love us all so much. And you know what? That would be true. And if I ever asked if you would intentionally hurt me or Starr or Jack, you'd say no. And you'd mean it. But that is what is so awful about all of this, is because you only think about the moment, Todd, about what you want, about what you have to have. And you never, ever think about the effect. And how it took me this long to actually realize that is beyond me, but -- you know, every time I get close to you, Todd -- every time I open up, I have to learn all over again who you really are. Well, not anymore.
Todd: Blair --
Blair: It's over. I can't do it anymore. I'm drained. There is no forgiveness left.
Todd: Um -- I'm going to talk to Starr, you know, and sort this --
Blair: No, no, no, no! No, Todd. You don't get another chance. Now, I'm going to go upstairs and I'm going to get my children, and I'm going to leave. And if you dare try to stop me, you will regret it till the day you die.
Todd: Blair, hold on. No, no, no, hold on. You got to give me another chance, all right? Look, we were so close. Don't -- don't do this.
Blair: I didn't do it! I didn't do it! You did it, Todd! You did this, like you always do! Just get --
just get out of my way!
Radio announcer: With a storm like this blowing through, you got two things you can count on -- true love and great music. Especially this one.
[Knock on door]
Officer: Excuse me, Commissioner. Mr. Gannon needs to see you right away.
Bo: Well, I know what he wants. Just tell him I'll be right there.
Gabrielle: Going away with you to Washington or anywhere is getting better by the minute.
Bo: Yeah, I know. Maybe we'll get snowed in for a week or two.
Gabrielle: All we can do is hope. I'm going to go pack us a bag -- now, before anything else happens.
Bo: Yeah, do it, do it. I'm going to call and get the tickets. I'm going to go book us a room, and it'll be great. Hey, hey, hey.
Bo: Viki, you still here?
Viki: Yeah. Clint called just as I was leaving.
Bo: Is there anything wrong?
Viki: Jessie is not doing very well in London with him. I mean, he said that she's trying to put up a good front, but I -- I feel I need to be with her. I feel like I should take the next plane to London.
Bo: Then do it.
Viki: But there's all this business now with Natalie and --
Bo: Look, Cristian and Natalie -- they're up at the lodge. They're safe.
Viki: Bo, we felt that before.
Bo: Look, if you think that Jessica needs you right now, you got to go.
Viki: That Mitch Laurence is so evil.
Bo: Well, we're going to bring him down. It's not going to be easy. This guy's crazy, but he's smart. See, but we have to be smarter.
Viki yeah, we certainly do.
Cristian: It's my phone. Didn't think it would work up here.
Viki: Cristian. Hi. It's Viki.
Cristian: Oh, hi, Mrs. Davidson.
Viki: I'm very glad I was able to reach you. I just wanted to make sure you two are all right up there.
Cristian: Yeah, yeah, we're fine.
Viki: No problems?
Cristian: No. No. Don't worry, Mrs. Davidson. I'm going to take good care of Natalie. Here, I'll let you talk to her.
Natalie: Hey, Mom.
Viki: Hi, darling. Did you find everything you need?
Natalie: Yeah. Yeah, we got a fire going, some candles, and a radio, if the batteries hold out, and some food.
Viki: Good. Sweetheart, listen, I'm going to have to be out of town for a few days, and I really just wanted to make sure that you were all right.
Natalie: Yeah, but are you sure you can travel with the weather the way it is?
Viki: Well, we'll see. I'll keep my fingers crossed, you know. But, darling, you have to stay with Cristian, OK? And be safe.
Natalie: Yeah. I won't -- I won't let him out of my sight.
Viki: Good. I'll see you when I get back, sweetheart, OK? And hopefully -- hopefully, it'll all be over by then.
Natalie: Hope so.
Viki: Yeah. I love you.
Natalie: I love you, too, Mom. Bye. So, you're not going to let anything happen to me, huh?
Cristian: Well, no. Nothing bad.
Jen: Jason's landing.
Todd: Blair, Blair, it's really coming down out there. I think the storm's got worse. I don't think it's safe.
Blair: It's safer out there than it is here.
Todd: Starr, I did what I did to --
Blair: Stop it. You'll never be able to explain to her what happened. Come on, sweetheart.
Todd: Blair. Blair.
Blair: Come on, Starr.
Todd: No, don't do this.
Blair: Come on.
Todd: Yeah, it's me. Listen, my wife and kids are coming downstairs now, and I want you to follow them. Just to make sure they get -- they get wherever they're going. OK?
Lindsay: Amazing. It's amazing I'm still alive.
Lindsay: You came here to make it look like a burglary gone bad, remember? I'm supposed to be dead by now. You were going to shut me up for good. But it was all just a game. We're good at playing games, aren't we?
Troy: No, Lindsay. You are. I'm just doing what I have to do.
Lindsay: I think you're doing what you want to do. Oh, come on. When are you going to admit you are afraid?
Troy: Of losing Nora? You got that right.
Lindsay: I think deep down inside what you're really afraid of is that you don't really care one way or another what happens with Nora.
Troy: Spare me your psychology.
Lindsay: I think you're afraid that what you really want is right here in this bed.
Troy: You're completely delusional. But what else is new?
Lindsay: You can deny it all you want. But we both know it's true. We deserve each other.
Troy: Don't you ever say that again! Do you hear me? Never!
Lindsay: Ok, I won't. But just say what it is you really want. Go ahead, Troy, admit what it is you're afraid of. The truth will set you free.
Nora: What in the world?
Man: Hell of a welcome.
Mitch: Hello, Jennifer.
Radio announcer: We're headed into the heart of it now, folks -- the heart of love, the heart of passion, the heart of the night. Light the fires. Lock the windows tight against the wind. This storm's different. Something's in the air. Can't you feel it?
Man: Time to go home.
Stay tuned for scenes from the next "One Life to Live."
On the next "One Life to Live" --
Radio announcer: We got the storm of the century going on out there.
Mitch: Nights like these bring out the dark side in all of us.
Radio announcer: This is the kind of night that changes things --
Cristian: The only way I'll draw again is if I can draw you.
Radio announcer: Forever.
Nora: How could I have been so stupid!
