Previously on "One Life to Live" --

Liz: Will you please just drop it?

Antonio: After the paternity test.

Starr: I want you and Dad back together.

Blair: You cannot make that happen.

Jen: If I told them that Cristian said "I'll kill Mitch as soon as he walks free," he'll come after me next.

Judge: I'm ready with my ruling. I am sentencing you to 30 days in jail.

Carlotta and Nora: What?

Nora: I'm so angry I'm spitting nails. I don't even believe this. This is ridiculous. I mean, I know Fitzie's unpredictable, but this?

Bo: Beats me.

Nora: We had a deal!

Bo: I know.

Nora: I mean, you recommended it. Hank recommended it. Everyone recommended it. Everyone thought it was great. But then Fitzie gives Cristian 30 days in jail? What is she thinking? Makes me start thinking.

Bo: No, come on. Judge Fitzwater's not on the take. Now, you know better than that.

Nora: Well, I thought I did, but, you know, Mitch Laurence has a way of making the impossible happen.

Bo: He didn't get to Fitzwater.

Nora: Well, somebody did, Bo. I want to know who.

Jen: Hi, Mr. Laurence -- I mean Mitch. This is Jennifer Rappaport. I just wanted to say I'm really glad things worked out today -- for both of us.

Todd: Hmm. Come on in.

Shawna: You hiding something?

Todd: No.

Shawna: I saw you looking around. What, you got a girlfriend stashed somewhere?

Todd: No, my kids live here.

Shawna: Oh.

Todd: Oh. Hmm. So, are you sure you heard what you heard?

Shawna: Jen Rappaport was on her cell making a fake call, claiming that Cristian Vega said he would kill Mitch Laurence if Cristian didn't go to jail.

Todd: All right, and all of this was for the benefit of Judge Fitzwater?

Shawna: Mm-hmm, totally.

Todd: Great. Well, let's get to work.

Shawna: Well, how? What are you going to do?

Starr: I think you're lying, Mom, because you do love Dad.

Blair: I know that's what you want, Starr, but -- well, just because your daddy and I are getting along better doesn't mean that -- well, that we love each other.

Starr: But Dad loves you!

R.J.: Do you think Keri suspects anything?

Liz: Nope. And she won't, as long as I can help it.

Hank: Yeah. Me, too. Thanks.

R.J.: What about Vega?

Hank: Well, now, that could be a problem.

R.J.: Why?

Liz: He just hates keeping secrets from Keri.

R.J.: Well, he better not blow this. It would ruin everything for Keri. Look, I've got Capricorn all set up, ready to go. I really want to surprise her.

Liz: You've been awfully sweet about doing all this.

R.J.: Well, it's my daughter's birthday.

Liz: I know. You just -- you've gone to a lot of trouble.

R.J.: Well, you were right there beside me, helping. I couldn't have done it otherwise.

Liz: I know.

Keri: Oh! Good -- you're all here. I have news for everybody -- even the baby.

Troy: Ah, Det. Vega. How's everything going with Keri and the baby?

Antonio: Oh, fine, fine.

Troy: Great. So, were you able to get in touch with Dr. Davenport?

Antonio: That's actually who I'm waiting for now.

Troy: So then you decided to pursue the matter?

Antonio: I'll find out soon if Steve Reynolds is the father of Liz's baby or not.

Nun: You really must try to eat more, dear. Allison? Do you understand? You need nourishment.

Mitch: Heed the messenger. The messenger has arrived. And he has a very important job he needs you to do.

Bo: I'm sorry about this, Cristian. I can't explain it.

Cristian: I'll survive.

Nora: It's not over yet. I'm going to get you out of here as soon as possible.

Cristian: Thanks.

Natalie: No. This is wrong. This is so wrong!

Cristian: Natalie, you shouldn't be here.

Natalie: You shouldn't be here! Look, I'm not blaming either one of you, but this isn't fair. This is wrong!

Bo: We're trying to figure out what went on.

Nora: You better believe it.

Natalie: Oh, I know exactly what went wrong -- it's Mitch Laurence. Look, if they can't help you, I can.

Natalie: I can stop Mitch.

Cristian: How?

Natalie: I'll talk to him.

Cristian: Absolutely not.

Natalie: Cristian --

Cristian: Natalie, you can't go anywhere near the guy. Right?

Nora: Oh, he's right, Natalie.

Bo: He's not someone you want to mess with.

Natalie: Yeah, but all he wants is my money. I'll make him an offer, maybe as part of the annulment --

Nora: No, no, no, no. You don't do that. It doesn't work that way.

Natalie: Why not?

Nora: Because an annulment implies a marriage didn't exist. A settlement implies it did.

Natalie: I hate this. I hate you being locked up in here when it's Mitch Laurence who should be here.

Cristian: Hey, come on. At least you don't have to worry about me.

Natalie: Oh, right. That's all I ever do.

Nora: He's safe in here, Natalie. Mitch can't get to him.

Cristian: See? So stop worrying.

Natalie: Yeah, right.

Cristian: Look, I'm the one who's going to be worrying about you.

Natalie: Why?

Cristian: Why do you think? Mitch could still get at you. And as long as I'm locked up in here, I can't protect you from him.

Todd: Maybe I couldn't get Mitch Laurence to go down in the court because the judge, you know, had to do the right thing and everything, but I will definitely take Mitch Laurence down in the press.

Shawna: Why aren't we working down at the offices of "The Sun"?

Todd: So I -- got to keep my eye on something here.

Shawna: Oh, your kids, right? Where are they?

Todd: They're upstairs.

Shawna: Alone?

Todd: Yeah, what, do you work for social services now? Why don't you shut up and sit down.

Shawna: Does this mean I have the internship?

Todd: I don't know. Can you type?

Shawna: Oh, what do you want me to type?

Todd: The whole thing about how Jen Rappaport made the phony phone call in front of Judge Fitzwater.

Shawna: What does that have anything to do with Mitch Laurence?

Todd: Okay, why did Jen Rappaport do that?

Shawna: I don't know. I mean, I suppose to get back at her ex for dumping her?

Todd: Maybe Mitch Laurence set the whole thing up.

Shawna: Are you serious?

Todd: I don't know. I don't care. >From now on, that's what happened.

Shawna: You mean just make this whole thing up?

Todd: Mm-hmm.

Shawna: Cool.

Todd: Okay, rule number one, journalism -- you throw everything against the wall and you see what sticks.

Shawna: Is that how everybody does it?

Todd: That's how I do it. And I have a feeling this is going to stick, so come on, get going. You start with how Jen Rappaport made the phony phone call in front of Judge Fitzwater and then how she shed the crocodile tears on the stand and then blah, blah, blah. And you write the whole thing, and then you give it to me and I read it and turn it into something halfway readable, and then we run it.

Shawna: Wow, this is like a dream come true. I'm working on a newspaper and getting to dump on Jen Rappaport.

Todd: Knock yourself out. Okay, here's how it starts. You're in the stall, and you're peering through a crack in the door and you can see that Jen Rappaport is there, and she's clearly up to something. She's waiting for somebody. And then, when Judge Fitzwater comes in, she pounces on her and makes her think that Cristian Vega is the real threat when the real threat is the man that's behind all of it -- Mitch Laurence.

Shawna: You're so awesome.

Blair: Sit down. How many times do we have to go over this? We've talked about it so many times. I'm -- I'm with Sam now. You know that.

Starr: Yuck, yuck, and yuck.

Blair: Come on. You like Sam, and you were really happy when we got together.

Starr: Oh, that was a long, long time ago.

Blair: Yeah, I know. A lot of things have changed.

Starr: Yeah, they did. And Dad's back. And now we're living together, and you two should be together.

Blair: Well, it's not going to be like this forever, Starr, all right? Sooner or later -- hopefully sooner than later -- well, we're going to move back into our house, and Daddy's still going to be here, and -- well, it's not going to be so confusing for you, okay?

Starr: I'm not the one who's confused here, okay? You and Dad are! You can't even see what's right in front of you! Fudge!

R.J.: Keri, what's going on?

Liz: Everything's all right with the baby, isn't it?

Keri: The baby's fine. This is about you, Mom.

Liz: What?

Keri: I saw a listing at the university law school for a research position, like you did before.

R.J.: Hey, Elizabeth, you should submit a resume.

Liz: Well --

Keri: I already did that.

Liz: Keri!

Keri: And they're very excited. They were very impressed, and they can't wait to meet you.

Hank: Wow. That's great. You know what? I know a few people over there. I can put in a good word for you. What do you say?

Keri: See, Mom? With your background and with the family connection, you're a shoo-in.

Hank: Yeah. You know, listen, I have to depose a witness. But I'll tell you what -- that's great news, and that's something else we can celebrate at --

R.J.: Ahem.

Hank: You know, later, when I get back. So take it easy. Bye.

Liz: Bye.

Hank: Randall James --

R.J.: Yeah --

Hank: See you soon. And my beautiful niece.

Keri: Oh --

Hank: Good for you.

Keri: Bye.

Hank: Bye-bye.

Keri: So, Mom, isn't this perfect?

R.J.: Yeah, I think we should celebrate.

Liz: No.

Keri: What's wrong?

Liz: There's nothing to celebrate because I'm not taking the job.

Troy: So, how are Keri and her mom taking it? They must be nervous about the test results. Detective, they do know, don't they?

Antonio: No, Doctor, they donít. What you and I talked about was confidential, right?

Troy: Yeah, it was, but I got to tell you, I'm not real comfortable with it. I mean, Keri and Nora are good friends.

Antonio: Listen, I'm sorry I put you in that position, Doctor, but I don't like keeping things from my fiancee any more than you do yours.

Troy: Okay, so, then why are you doing it?

Antonio: Because I don't want to hurt her -- unless the test results give me no choice.

Troy: Well, now, wait a minute. How did you even get Mr. Reynolds' records without Keri and her mom knowing?

Antonio: Okay, look, maybe some of the rules were bent. But you do what you have to for someone you love. I think you know what that's like.

Troy: What is that supposed to mean?

Antonio: You and Lindsay.

Troy: Yeah?

Antonio: You pursued her to get a confession.

Troy: Yeah. Yes, I -- yes, Detective, I do know what it's like to want to protect the woman you love. I understand that very well.

Doctor: Det. Vega? I have your test results.

Troy: Excuse me, gentlemen.

Antonio: Well?

Doctor: Well, I moved the test right along since this is a police matter.

Antonio: Right. So, what did they say?

Doctor: Well, we compared the sample from Keri Reynolds' C.V.S. to the sample the Chicago fertility clinic sent for Steve Reynolds.

Antonio: Is it a match?

Doctor: Well, if that's what you were hoping, I'm sorry. No, Steve Reynolds is not that baby's father.

Antonio: The other D.N.A. sample I gave you -- is -- is that the baby's father?

Doctor: Oh, that sample is still being analyzed.

Antonio: And -- and when will it be done?

Doctor: It shouldn't be too much longer. You want to wait?

Antonio: Yes, yes.

Doctor: All right, well, I'll let you know as soon as I have those results.

Antonio: Okay. Thank you.

Doctor: Hank!

Hank: Hey, Doctor.

Doctor: Good to see you.

Hank: You, too. All right. Hey. Why were you talking to Arthur Davenport?

Antonio: You know him?

Hank: Yeah, I do.

Antonio: It's a case that I'm handling.

Hank: Paternity case? That's what he specializes in. I know from past cases. The thing is, Antonio, I don't -- I don't know of any open investigations involving paternity issues.

Antonio: I'm having the paternity of Liz's baby tested.

Hank: Has Liz been consulted?

Antonio: No. No, she hasnít.

Hank: Oh --

Antonio: Look, I need to know if I am the father. Hank, look, say what you want to say, all right? I mean, tell me that I'm going to destroy Keri. Say it. Trust me, whatever you say, I have felt tenfold. Go ahead; rake me over the coals.

Hank: I don't need to rake you over the coals. You're doing that fine all by yourself. But I do have one question.

Antonio: What?

Hank: When you get your answer, what are you going to do about it?

Keri: This job is perfect for you. Why don't you want to take it?

Liz: Because, Honey, I'm not staying after the baby comes.

Keri: We talked about this.

Liz: I know. But we didn't decide anything. Look, when you brought up the idea, remember, of me buying this house instead of renting it, I didn't commit to anything.

Keri: I don't understand. You have everything you need here -- you have family, you have friends, you have a house, you have a job if you want.

Liz: I know.

Keri: Mom, we're getting so close -- closer than we've ever been. I want to be here around my little sister, watching her grow up. Antonio does, too. You know, everything is going so well. You and Antonio are starting to know each other. You and R.J. are finally getting along.

R.J.: Yes, which is exactly why she's leaving. Isn't it, Elizabeth?

Natalie: You're in here because of me.

Cristian: No, Natalie, for you. And I'll do it again in a minute.

Nora: Cris, please watch what you're saying. It could be used against you.

Cristian: Right. Sorry. I can't help it. I hate the idea of Mitch hurting you. He knows how much I love you.

Natalie: I love you.

Cristian: And that's why he can get to me.

Natalie: We tried so hard to pretend.

Cristian: Yeah, well, he got his way. I'm locked up. Now, I can't watch out for you.

Bo: I can, and I will.

Natalie: You know what? Now that Mitch can't hurt you anymore, he can't hurt me anymore.

[Cell door opens and closes]

Jen: Hey.

Bo: Jen, what are you doing here?

Jen: The guard said I could come visit. Is that okay?

Nora: Well, actually, that's not a bad idea, actually, because the two of them should -- you shouldn't be alone. I don't want Mitch getting wind of that.

Bo: I got to do something. Then I'll be back.

Nora: And I've got to make some calls. One of the first calls I'm going to make is to Judge Fitzwater. I want to find out why she handed down that judgment.

Cristian: Thanks again, Nora.

Bo: You know, I keep waiting for Mitch to make a mistake, but he's a smart guy. You know, he doesn't get his own hands dirty. He always uses other people.

Nora: Who did he use to get to Fitzwater?

Bo: I don't know yet, but I'm sure he's going to find somebody to help him with his next move.

Mitch: There is nothing wrong with you, Allison. Your mind may have strayed for the moment, but I'm here now. I've come to help you. Come to me, Allison. Clear whatever is in your mind, whatever is confusing you. Give your faith unto me. Let me expel the demons that torment you so.

Mitch: "Your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear. And then your righteousness will go before you." You are restored in every way. You can speak. You can understand. You are complete. Isn't that right, Allison?

Allison: Yes. Heed the messenger.

Mitch: And now it's wrong for them to keep you locked up like this in an institution for the truly insane. Why, it's evil.

Allison: Evil.

Mitch: And that is why you must be released.

Allison: But how?

Mitch: You do trust me, don't you, Allison?

Allison: Yes, Mitch, of course.

Mitch: Then I will find a way.

Allison: No, no. No, no, no -- no.

Mitch: Allison, what's wrong?

Allison: If I leave, they'll put me back in jail.

Mitch: Exactly. And that's right where I want you.

Jen: Cristian, I am so, so sorry.

Natalie: Jen, this isn't any of your fault.

Jen: No, it is. I was the main witness. I shouldn't have told them that he hit Mr. Laurence first. I should have lied, and I should have said that he was trying to kill you or something. But I didn't, and I'm sorry.

Cristian: No, Jen, it wouldn't have worked. There were other witnesses.

Natalie: Yeah, I mean, Cristian wouldn't want you to lie. Besides, you'd just get yourself in trouble.

Jen: If it would have helped you, then I would have done it.

Cristian: I can't believe you'd do that.

Jen: What do you mean?

Cristian: Well, after everything that went down between us, why would you want to stick your neck out like that for me? Look, Jen, you did what you had to do.

Jen: Yeah. Yeah, I did.

Todd: That's not bad.

Shawna: Really?

Todd: Tell you what. Why don't you make it so that Mitch Laurence and the Rappaport girl were sticking their heads together and they were whispering right before the hearing? That reeks of conspiracy.

Shawna: Ooh, and they looked really chummy.

Todd: Yeah, right. Add that.

Shawna: Right. Of course.

Shawna: Huh -- how's this?

Todd: It's great. I tell you what -- we'll dummy it up and have it run on the front page. Why don't you get out of the way and I'll send it now. Run it as a special edition.

Shawna: So, your wife's in the looney bin, huh?

Starr: Mom! Mom! Mom?

Blair: What?

Starr: You won't believe this.

Blair: What, did something happen?

Starr: Yeah, it's -- oh, I forgot. Never mind. You don't love Dad anymore. Forget it.

Blair: Forget what? What are you talking about?

Starr: Oh, nothing. Just about the girl that's downstairs with Dad.

Blair: Who?

Starr: I don't know, but she's all over him.

Blair: What? So?

Starr: So, you don't care?

Blair: Well, why should I care? I'm with Sam. And Daddy -- he -- he should -- he should have a friend.

Starr: Looks like more than a friend to me. And if you don't believe me, you can go downstairs and look for yourself.

Blair: No! I mean, I can't, you know. I'm -- I'm in hiding, remember?

Starr: Yeah -- the only reason why we're staying here with Dad.

Blair: Besides, I'm -- I'm not interested.

Starr: So that's it?

Blair: Yep. Don't you have homework to do or something?

Starr: So you're not even curious?

Blair: Nope, not at all, end of story.

Starr: Ugh!

Blair: Why should I care? It's probably not even a girl. A girl?

Allison: You want me to go to jail?

Mitch: That's right.

Allison: What's wrong, Mitch?

Allison: What's wrong, Mitch? Don't you like me?

Mitch: Oh, Allison, you were and always will be my favorite. Don't you know that? Of all the others, you were my most faithful and trusted servant. And that is why only you can be trusted with this assignment.

Allison: Assignment? What kind of assignment?

Mitch: And I know you won't let me down.

Allison: But --

Mitch: What, Allison?

Allison: Everybody here thinks I'm crazy. How am I ever going to convince them to let me out?

Mitch: You must talk with the nurse in charge here. Tell her you've had a breakthrough. Demand a new psychiatric evaluation. They have to give you one. It's your right.

Allison: Okay. Then what do I do?

Mitch: Answer the doctor's questions simply and clearly. Above all else, you must appear sane and rational.

Allison: Okay.

Mitch: Allison, my very life depends on this. I'm counting on you. Do you understand?

Allison: Yes. Answer everything like I'm completely sane.

Mitch: Good. Once you've convinced them, they'll put you in a jail cell -- no, only while you await the hearing on your escape. Then you will be exactly where I need you to be to do what I need you to do.

Allison: What is it, Mitch? What do you need me to do?

Troy: Yeah, hi, this is Dr. MacIver. I'm just calling to check on an appointment to see a patient. Her name is Allison Perkins. Oh, great. So then it's all set? Perfect. Thank you. Hey.

Nora: Hi.

Troy: Oh, hey, how was Cristian's hearing?

Nora: Uh -- just great. Got 30 days in jail.

Troy: What do you mean? I thought -- I thought he had a plea bargain.

Nora: Yeah, we did. I guess Fitzwater didn't like it.

Troy: Oh. Why?

Nora: I don't know. I'm still trying to figure it out. So, you were smiling when I came up. Come on; give me some good news. I want good news.

Troy: Well, I'll give you some good news. I love you. That's good news, right?

Nora: Okay, it's good, but it's not exactly news. Come on, what's up? Tell me something.

Troy: You know something, Nora?

Nora: What?

Troy: We have some important business to take care of.

Antonio: What are you going to do? You going to tell Liz about this?

Hank: I don't know.

Antonio: Okay, can I just ask one thing? I know you don't think much of me, not since you found out about that one night I spent with Liz. But I hope that you think about Keri and what's best for her.

Hank: That's all I've been thinking about, Antonio. Maybe you should, too.

Man: Excuse me. Would you shoot some shots of us? It's our first family video. It's digital.

Antonio: Sure.

Man: You can see what it looks like beforehand.

Antonio: Okay.

Man: Is there something -- something wrong?

Antonio: No, no. It's going to be a beautiful video.

Man: Thanks.

Keri: R.J., you think mom wants to leave because of you?

R.J.: Why else?

Keri: R.J. --

Liz: I never said that I was going to stay after the baby was born.

Keri: Mom --

R.J.: No, maybe not in words, but with your actions.

Keri: R.J. --

Liz: My actions? What about your actions?

Keri: Mom --

R.J.: What about them?

Liz: If I did leave because of that, nobody would blame me.

Keri: Stop it, you two! All this shouting is not good for the baby to hear, okay? If you don't stop it, I'm going to leave.

R.J.: Well, then, we'll see you later. We have some things to settle.

Liz: Yes, we do, don't we?

Keri: I thought we were past this. I guess I was wrong.

R.J.: Well?

[Door closes]

R.J.: Explain yourself, Elizabeth.

Liz: I don't need to explain anything to you.

R.J.: We were getting along. I was enjoying being nice to you. I don't do nice for everyone!

Liz: Oh, yes, you've been so nice, haven't you? You took me to lunch. You took me to dinner. You let me stay at your place. Your place? You know, in fact, you've been wonderful -- just like when we first met. Just like when we conceived Keri. Just like the day that you left me.

R.J.: Why do you -- I did not leave you. I was sent to prison!

Liz: All I know is you were gone, out of my life.

R.J.: Oh. Oh, I see. I ran out on you, so now you're running out on me?

Starr: Mom? Mom? Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. Order, order, order! I'm Judge Starr, and this is my court. Todd Manning, you're charged with being in love with Blair Manning. Are you guilty or not guilty?

Todd: Guilty, Your Honor.

[Sam mumbles]

Starr: Sam Rappaport, when I issue a gag order that means you can't be in my court, either. Blair Manning, what about you? Are you guilty or not guilty?

Blair: Guilty, Your Honor. I admit it. I love Todd. I'll always love him.

Starr: Okay, then, I sentence you both to life together, forever and ever.

Todd: Yeah, Blair wigged out. So what?

Shawna: So I was just wondering if the rumors were true.

Todd: Why?

Shawna: I have an inquiring mind.

Todd: Uh-huh.

Shawna: Are you seeing anybody new?

Todd: You know what? Why don't we stick to the story? I need for you to do some fieldwork.

Shawna: As a reporter?

Todd: Uh-huh. But you got to say you're from your college newspaper or something like that. You can't say you're from "The Sun." You got that? I mean, I would do it myself, but, well, nobody ever talks to me.

Shawna: Right.

Todd: You're going to say you're from "The Sun," aren't you? Hmm. Tell you what you find these people and you interview them. You find out as much dirt as you can about Mitch Laurence, but you don't let them know that that's what you're doing.

Shawna: Don't worry. This'll be good. So, can I call you if I have any questions?

Todd: Sure.

Shawna: Of course, I probably won't need to call you. I mean, you've already taught me so much. We make a pretty good team, don't we?

Todd: Well, you definitely have something that I want.

Shawna: All you have to do is ask.

Todd: Tell you what -- if you want to call me, you should call me here. It's at my office, and it's a private number. Now, we don't want to arouse any suspicion.

Shawna: I'll be in touch.

Todd: Don't take too long, huh?

Shawna: You know, don't worry. I wonít. I can't wait to do whatever it is that I can for you.

[Door closes]

Blair: So, what were you doing with that girl?

Todd: What do you care?

Blair: I care because Starr -- Starr was worried --

Todd: Oh, Starr, right.

Blair: Yeah. She was, and -- well, I am. You know, you've got me hiding out here, and it's -- I don't want strangers traipsing in and out, Todd.

Todd: We weren't traipsing. We were working.

Blair: Oh, working, yeah. Didn't look like that to me.

Todd: Why, what'd it look like?

Blair: It looked like that -- that woman was -- was -- was all over you.

Todd: You know what? So what if she was?

Blair: So what? So what? So what if Starr saw that, Todd?

Todd: Starr sees you with Sam all the time.

Blair: Oh, come on. That is so different, and you know it.

Todd: It's only different because one's you and the other's me.

Blair: You get on me all the time when Sam comes over here. And, what, you can bring some little hottie over here and it's okay?

Todd: Okay, let me get this straight. You get to have as much fun as you want, but me -- I can't have any fun?

Blair: I -- I don't even care who you -- I don't care if you see anybody. I just don't want you to see anybody here and not her.

Todd: Why not her?

Blair: Because you don't know her.

Todd: Oh, and you do?

Blair: Of her. I -- Todd, she applied for an internship at "The Sun," and her -- her reputation's as bad as yours.

Todd: Things are looking better and better.

Blair: No, no, no -- I don't want you seeing her.

Todd: No, you donít. You don't want me seeing her.

Blair: Because she's trouble.

Todd: Because you're jealous.

Blair: I -- you -- you are so out of your mind. I -- I'm not -- jealous of her? Please.

Blair: No -- so Ė

Cristian: Look, Jen, thanks for coming, but you've done enough.

Jen: What do you mean?

Cristian: Apologizing for what you said in court. Come on, there was nothing you could do about that.

Jen: Thank you. Thank you so much for understanding me. So I guess you guys want to be alone.

Natalie: I feel --

Jen: No, no, don't, you know? It's okay. And call me if you need anything -- either one of you.

Cristian: We will.

Cristian: It's only 30 days.

Natalie: Yeah, and hopefully I'll have my annulment by then.

Cristian: Then we can finally be together. Hey, come on. Don't be sad.

Natalie: It just feels like we're never going to be together, Cristian, like nothing -- like it's never going to happen, you know?

Cristian: We are going to be together. I promise you that.

Mitch: You understand the plan?

Allison: Yes. I understand completely.

Mitch: The minute I leave here, ask to speak to one of the Sisters. Tell her about that new psychiatric evaluation.

Allison: Because I'm sane now.

Mitch: Yes, you're perfectly sane. And as for the rest of it, you will do exactly as I told you.

Allison: I'd do anything for Mitch. You know that.

Mitch: Yes, Allison, I do know that. That's why you're so special to me.

Allison: When do you want me to do it?

Mitch: Immediately.

Liz: So I don't buy this little good guy act of yours. So what?

R.J.: It's no act.

Liz: Yeah. That's what you told me the last time.

R.J.: Are you never going to let this go?

Liz: How can you expect me to?

R.J.: You expect me to let it go that you kept my daughter from me.

Liz: Ha!

R.R.J.: You never even told me I had one!

Liz: You still haven't forgiven me for that, have you?

R.J.: No -- yes, I have, but -- you won't cut me any slack.

Liz: Well, you just -- you won't give me any breathing room.

R.J.: You hadn't said you wanted any.

Liz: Well, maybe you didn't notice.

R.J.: Oh, well, I'm starting to get it now.

Liz: Good.

R.J.: I get that what you're running away from is not me.

Liz: Oh, yeah? If not you, then who?

R.J.: It's you.

Liz: Me?

R.J.: You and your feelings for me. Go with them. If you go with yours, I'll go with mine.

Liz: How? How are we supposed to do that?

[Phone rings]

Keri: Hello?

Antonio: Hi, Baby.

Keri: Antonio. What's going on?

Antonio: I -- I was just calling to say I love you.

Keri: I love you, too. Is that all?

Antonio: Pretty much.

Keri: Are you all right?

Antonio: Why?

Keri: I don't know. You sound --

Antonio: I'm -- I'm okay. I just -- I just needed to let you know how much I love you and I always will, no matter what.

Keri: Me, too.

Antonio: Okay. All right, well, then I'll talk to you later.

Keri: All right. I hope you guys worked everything out.

Troy: What are you doing on February 14th?

Nora: Valentine's Day?

Troy: That's right. You got any plans?

Nora: I don't know. What you got in mind?

Troy: Oh, I don't know. I was thinking maybe a wedding.

Antonio: Dr. Davenport, I was just -- I was just going to go look for you. I -- have you gotten the test results back yet?

Dr. Davenport: Yes, I did.

Antonio: And?

Dr. Davenport: Well, we compared the second D.N.A. sample you gave us to the D.N.A. of the infant fetus Ms. Reynolds is carrying for her mother. And the results are conclusive.

Antonio: Well, what are they?

Dr. Davenport: Whoever that sample came from, that man is the baby's father.
