Roxy: So, where is she? Where is my little
Jessie?
Keith: Hi. Is this seat taken?
Al: It's going to be ok.
Blair: Where are you, Todd, and what are you
up to?
Todd: I'm Todd, and I'm your father.
Todd: Yeah, you there? It's me.
Blair: Yes, I know who it is. I've been
waiting by the phone ever since you walked out, Todd.
Todd: I -- I wanted to make sure that
everything was set before I called you, and now everything is set.
----------------------------------------------------
Roxy: I'm not going anywhere, not until I
see my daughter.
Viki: You have no rights here.
Roxy: I don't? Well, I'm her mother and I'm
here to see my little lost girl. So run along, one of you's, and tell Jessie
that her mother's just dying to see her. Wild horses couldn't drag me away.
----------------------------------------------------
Keith: I'm sorry, but the place is kind of
full. Would you mind?
Jessica: Um -- yeah, sure.
Keith: Listen, the guy that you were just
talking to -- was that Cristian Vega?
Jessica: Uh-huh. Why?
Keith: I knew it. I tried to catch him on
his way out, but he was moving so fast, I lost him. Darn.
Jessica: You a friend of his?
Keith: Yeah, we go way back, but I haven't
seen him in eons.
Jessica: Really? That's weird because I've
known Cristian for eons and I don't think I've ever met you. Wait a minute.
Does this have anything to do with why Cristian can't go back to Llanview?
----------------------------------------------------
Jen: What are you doing here? I thought Peg
told you to get lost.
Cristian: I thought I left something here.
Al: What was it?
Cristian: And what are you doing here?
Jen: He's here with me. I needed somebody
who was helpful and supportive, someone who really cares about me.
Cristian: Well, lucky for you Al's a very
helpful and supportive kind of guy.
Jen: Cut it out, Cristian. You broke up with
me, remember? That means you don't get to tell me what to do.
Al: Yeah, did you hear her? Nobody wants you
here.
Cristian: Hey, you don't have to tell me
twice. I'm out.
Al: No, can you hang on a second? You didn't
answer her question. What are you really doing here?
----------------------------------------------------
Blair: Where are you? Where are you calling
from?
Todd: You know, it's -- it's -- it's kind of
hard for me to explain that right now.
Blair: Well, I need to know now. Are you --
are you in Llanview, or are you even in Pennsylvania?
Todd: No. But I'll be there soon, and I got
a big surprise for you.
----------------------------------------------------
Keith: Are you telling me Cristian got run
out of town?
Jessica: Well, I'm not exactly sure what
happened.
Keith: Well, don't look at me. I mean, Vega
and I did some pretty wild stuff, but we never got banished. So if he got
exiled from -- where'd you say it was?
Jessica: Llanview. That's where he's from.
How could you not know that and be his friend?
Keith: Well, I met him here in art school.
Jessica: Oh. You're an artist?
Keith: I try, but Cristian -- he's the real
deal. That guy's a real talent.
Jessica: Oh, yeah. Yeah, I know he is.
Keith: Never understood why he dropped out
of art school, and then he just vanished from the face of the earth.
Jessica: Well, he had -- he had a lot of
things going on -- personal stuff. I'm sure you could ask him about it. He
would tell you.
Keith: Yeah, if I ever find, I mean, running
into him here…
Jessica: Yeah, that is a big coincidence,
huh, because it's such a big city, so --
Keith: Well, not really. I mean, this was
one of our haunts back when (something garbled here)
Jessica: Oh, yeah. Cristian loves his
diners.
Keith: So, is he back for good?
Jessica: Yeah. It looks that way.
Keith: So, do you know where I can get ahold
of him?
----------------------------------------------------
Cristian: I told you I'm not doing anything.
I thought I left something here so I came back to see, but it's not here so I'm
out.
Jen: Cristian, wait.
Cristian: What now, Jen?
Jen: I just thought you'd want to know I'm not
going to run into you anymore.
Al: Yeah, I'm taking her to Llanview. You
ready?
Jen: Yeah, my stuff's in the back. Would you
get it for me?
Al: Sure.
Cristian: So, why are you leaving?
Jen: Not because of you. I wouldn't let you
stop me. The modeling thing just didn't work out.
Cristian: I can't believe that. I mean,
you're the most --
Jen: The most what?
Cristian: Modeling's not my thing. I mean,
you never know what they want -- obviously.
Jen: Well, it's not them. It's me. Just
wasn't what I expected.
Cristian: So, this thing with you and Al --
is it serious?
----------------------------------------------------
Starr: Is that Daddy? Where is he?
Blair: Shh. Starr, just --
Todd: Hey, is Starr there? Tell her I got
her a surprise, too.
Blair: Look, Todd, no surprises, all right?
Todd: Yeah, but this one is --
Blair: No. Just what are you up to?
Todd: Well, I told you.
Blair: No, all you have told me is
absolutely nothing. All I've been doing is waiting by the phone, waiting to see
what you're going to do next.
Todd: I fixed everything.
Blair: Todd, look, I know how you get when
you are hurt or angry, and this time you're both, and it scares me.
Todd: Blair, listen to me.
Blair: No, Todd, you listen to me.
Todd: Fine. Talk.
Blair: Look, I wanted to tell you this in
person, but I'm probably never going to see you again.
Todd: Blair, hold on a second.
Blair: No -- Todd, look, I know what I did
was horrible and I know that it was wrong. Sam told me that it was wrong. I --
I should've told you that you were a father right from the beginning. But if
I'd just had the courage to tell you the truth, then probably none of this ever
would've happened and maybe our baby would still be alive.
Todd: Are you done? Because I got something
I got to say.
Blair: No, just let me finish what I have to
say, all right?
Todd: Hurry up.
Blair: I tried to apologize to you before,
but you were so angry that you couldn't hear me, Todd, and -- well, now I
thought, well, maybe some time has passed that -- well, maybe that you could
forgive me. I know that you have a very, very big heart, Todd, and I know that
you could forgive me if you -- if you really tried.
Todd: All right, that thing you just said
about my heart being -- you just make sure that doesn't get around town, ok?
Blair: Todd -- I love you so much.
Starr: Is he going to forgive us?
Blair: I hope so.
Starr: Me, too.
Blair: Todd?
Todd: Yeah, I'm here.
Blair: Look, I know that this is really hard
for you, but if you could find it in your heart to forgive me just one more
time -- our little boy was on the earth for such a short amount of time, but he
did bring us together as a family and I think he brought us closer.
Todd: So you're saying that if there were a
baby in the house that it would bring us closer together?
Blair: Todd, I'm so sorry for what I did,
and if I can do anything to make it up to you, please, I will.
Todd: Listen to me. I've -- I've done
something.
Blair: What?
Starr: Is he going to take me away, Mommy?
Blair: What have you done, Todd?
Todd: It's about our child.
----------------------------------------------------
Viki: Roxanne --
Roxy: Roxy! How many times do I have to tell
you it's Roxy?
Viki: Look; a long time ago, you and I were
at the receiving end of a very vicious and cruel act.
Roxy: No kidding. And I got the short stick.
Viki: No one got the short stick. What
Allison Perkins did to both of us was a crime and, unfortunately, we can't undo
it. So now what we have to do is concern ourselves with our children.
Roxy: Blah, blah, blah. Are you done?
Where's my daughter?
Viki: I don't know what happened to you 20
years ago. I don't know if your baby was missing for weeks like mine was. I'm
not sure what your part was in all of this anyway.
Roxy: Listen, lady, are you accusing me of
something?
Viki: Should I be? My point is that for the
last 20 years, every single choice that I have made has been to make the world
better and safer for my Jessica.
Roxy: Spare me. I'm not exactly on the
committee for Mom of the century.
Natalie: Good thing. You're like that breed
of animal that eats their young.
Roxy: Oh, shut up, you little runt.
Viki: Do you even know what a mother is? My God,
a mother loves her children. She teaches them how to live a good and decent
life. She's with them through everything -- through thick and thin, good and
bad. She shares everything, even the difficult moments.
Roxy: That's when you got cash -- you know,
you have a lot of time for all that touchy-feely business. You're lucky. You
never had to struggle.
Viki: I can tell you that I hardly slept a
night the first six years of my daughter Jessica's life. And even to this day,
if the phone rings in the middle of the night, it scares me to death -- or if
it doesn't ring when I'm expecting to hear from her.
Roxy: Half the time, we never even had a
phone.
Natalie: That's because you spent all your
money on booze and cigarettes.
Viki: I mean, how could you put your own
needs ahead of your child's?
Roxy: Natalie's not my child. And that
proves it.
Viki: Well, apparently, Jessica is not my
biological child, but I still have an unbelievable, incredible spiritual
connection with her, even when she's far away from me.
Roxy: Well, Vik, next time I need a psychic
friend, you're going to be the first person I call.
Viki: Don't you have any feelings for her?
She was your daughter for 20 years. How can you throw her away?
Roxy: Just watch. Honey, when you move to Easy
Street, are you going to miss me? See. That's your answer.
Viki: Yeah, you're right. I just got my answer.
You, lady, are not going anywhere near Jessica. I will do everything and
anything in my power to keep her far away from you.
Roxy: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Are you finally
done?
Viki: For now.
Roxy: Good. Because it's my turn. Jessica's
my daughter, and I'm going to see her. She's my next of kin, and I'm her next
of kin. So you can talk yourself blue in the face, but you cannot stop me.
Natalie: She may not be able to stop you,
but I sure can.
----------------------------------------------------
Jessica: Cristian said he had to go, and
then he ran off. I don't know where he went.
Waitress: You can pay your check up front, Hon.
Jessica: Thanks.
Keith: Hey, how about a phone number? You
know, I could leave him a message, blast from the past?
Jessica: Sorry, I --
Keith: Man, I was so close. You know,
there's a lot of people in New York, but not many I can really connect with --
not like Cristian.
Jessica: Yeah. Well, why don't you hang out
here? You said it was one of your haunts, right?
Keith: Yeah. I guess I could do that, yeah.
You know, the thing is I've been holding on to something for Cris ever since he
left school, and I know that he would really appreciate getting it back.
Jessica: Oh. Well, you could give it to me.
I could give it to his family, at least.
Keith: Well, if he has family in the city,
you know, I could drop it off. Why don't you tell me where they live?
Jessica: I'm sorry. I -- you know, I don't
know when I'm going to see Cristian again, so good luck. I hope you find him.
Keith: Ok. Oh, you're such a bad liar.
----------------------------------------------------
Jen: What Al and I do is none of your
business. But, yes, we're close. Very close.
Cristian: He didn't waste any time, huh?
Jen: You told me to move on, so I have. I
didn't think it would be this easy, but it was.
Cristian: Well, good for you.
Jen: Isn't this what you wanted -- for me to
find somebody who would treat me the way I deserve?
Cristian: Well, if Al is treating you that
way, yeah.
Jen: Al's a great guy. He would never lie or
use me or hurt me the way you did. And he doesn't want anything from me. He
just cares about me. And that's what I need right now -- somebody who really
cares.
Cristian: Well, you two have a happy life
together.
Peg: I thought I told you to get lost.
Cristian: Look, I don't know what the thing
is between you and Jen, but if you can't see how beautiful she is, then I think
you are in the wrong business.
Peg: What do you care? You're fired, Mark.
----------------------------------------------------
Antonio: I got here as soon as I could. What
happened? Is Jen all right?
Cristian: Yeah, yeah, she's great.
Antonio: Ok. Then how come you look like
it's the end of the world?
----------------------------------------------------
Starr: What's he saying, Mommy? What's Daddy
doing?
Blair: Starr, why don't you go play with
Ichabod and I will go get you. I'll come tell you everything as soon as I get
off the phone. Now, go, go, go.
Starr: Ok!
Blair: Todd? This about our child? Look,
isn't -- isn't Starr enough reason that we could try to figure all this out? I
mean, just can't you forgive me for Starr's sake? Please?
----------------------------------------------------
Blair's voice: Isn't Starr reason enough for
you to forgive me?
Todd's voice: Yes, yes, yes! I forgive you.
I love you. We're all going to live happily ever after, just like in the
movies.
Blair's voice: Oh, I'm so happy!
Todd's voice: Me, too.
Starr's voice: Me, three!
Todd's voice: Never lie to me again.
Blair's voice: Cross my heart, as long as
you never steal Starr away from me.
Todd's voice: Don't lie.
Blair's voice: Don't steal.
Todd's voice: Don't lie!
Blair's voice: Don't steal!
[Thunder]
Blair's voice: I can't trust you.
Todd's voice: I can't trust you.
[Thunder]
Todd's voice: Say good-bye forever, Starr.
We're never coming back.
Starr's voice: Mommy!
Starr: No, Daddy, no!
Blair: Can you forgive me?
Todd: Blair, the baby –
Starr: No, Daddy, you can't!
Todd: Is alive.
----------------------------------------------------
Al: Hey, are you ok?
Jen: Uh-huh. Ready whenever you are.
Al: I heard you talking to Cristian. I heard
what you said about me and you. I wasn't eavesdropping. You know, I just --
Jen: It's ok. About the kiss -- I know I was
trying to use you to hurt Cristian. I just wanted him to see that I've moved
on.
Al: Yeah, but you haven't.
Jen: Well, I'm trying. That's why I'm in New
York. Do you forgive me for kissing you?
Al: I'm not complaining about getting a
kiss. I went along with it. That's what friends do.
Jen: How come you're such a good guy?
Anybody else would've been furious with me.
Al: I'm not. I was just -- I was really
worried about you. Glad you're ok.
Jen: Thank you for everything. I've never
had a friend like you. And I don't want to do something stupid to ruin it.
Al: I'm not going anywhere. I care about you
so much.
Jen: I know.
Al: And if there's anything I can do to make
you feel better, you know -- I mean, even if it's -- even if it's pretending
that you're over Cristian.
Jen: I am over him.
Al: Keep pretending. Maybe it'll come true.
----------------------------------------------------
Cristian: Jen's moved on, Antonio. And it
didn't take her very long, either.
Antonio: Are you sure?
Cristian: I walked in on her kissing Al
Buchanan.
Antonio: I'm sorry, Cris.
Cristian: Yeah.
Antonio: But you didn't have a choice, ok?
You had to make her believe that you were over her.
Cristian: Yeah. Yeah, I know, I know. But it
still bugs me.
Antonio: Yeah. Look, you -- you once said to
me that you could make it so long as Jen was in the world. Well, as long as
Schaeffer believes that Jen won't lead him to you, you're keeping her alive.
Hang on to that.
Cristian: Yeah.
Antonio: She's safe. All we have to worry
about is keeping you safe, too. Let's go.
----------------------------------------------------
Jessica: What are you doing?
Keith: Hey. I thought you had left. I was
looking for your I.D. or something.
Jessica: Oh. Thanks.
Keith: Yeah.
Jessica: See you. Excuse me.
Waitress: Is that creep bothering you?
Jessica: No. Uh -- no, it's fine. Can you
just tell me the quickest way to get to the hotel on the park?
Waitress: Yeah. Take the bus at the corner cross-town
across the park two stops.
Jessica: Ok.
Waitress: Walk left one block and bingo.
Jessica: Oh, ok. I think I got that. Thank
you.
Keith: Next stop -- hotel on the park.
----------------------------------------------------
Todd: Blair, are you there? Did you hear
what I said?
Blair: Starr, what is the matter?
Starr: Daddy's going to take me away again,
isn't he? And I'll never see you again!
Blair: No, shh! You know, Todd, I thought
that you could change, but I guess I was wrong. Oh.
Starr: What did he say?
Blair: Your father's still very, very angry
at me, Starr, about the baby.
Starr: But it wasn't your fault. The baby
knows that.
Blair: Oh, baby, I know that.
Starr: What else?
Blair: He said that he's done something --
something about our child.
Starr: I knew it! I knew that he was going
to take me away!
Blair: No, no, no, Starr. No, he is not. No
one is ever going to ever separate us. I promise you that.
Starr: Cross your heart?
Blair: Cross -- cross my heart and hope to
die. No one is ever going to separate us or come between us, no matter what
daddy's done. You have my word, ok?
Todd: Here's the thing, ok? Don't tell
anybody I said this, but I'm sorry. I kind of screwed up. But when we get you
home, all right, and Blair will see that you're alive and squirming and making
noises and that -- that face. You know, you look like Starr. Oh, I got to warn
you about Starr. She's a little bossy, but, really, I -- I think you'll be able
to handle her. Mm-hmm. You know what? Let's get home, all right? And you talk
to Blair. Maybe she'll listen to you.
Buck: What's going on here? What are you
doing with my boy?
----------------------------------------------------
Roxy: You're going to stop me? Just who do
you think you are?
Natalie: I thought I was your daughter, and
I hated myself for that. I used to clean you up and put you to bed, and all you
ever did was swear at me and call me names. All I ever was to you was a
nuisance you had to drag off to the casino if you couldn't ditch me someplace
else.
Roxy: See, Vik? I told you that she was bad
luck. But had I had my real kid --
Viki: Oh, stop this!
Natalie: It's all right. I can handle this.
Why? What's so different about Jessica?
Roxy: She's mine.
Natalie: So? Why care about her when for 19
years you barely knew I existed?
Roxy: Well, maybe it's a miracle. See, my
maternal instinct kind of kicked in when I found out that my real daughter was
missing me. It's a feeling that I never exactly had before. So I'm just dying
to see my long-lost, precious, darling little girl.
Natalie: You make me sick.
Roxy: Fine. Adios. Can't wait to see that
kid. I know she's busting out like I was at her age. I used to fight the guys
off with a stick -- just the way they like it.
Natalie: Jessica is nothing like you.
Nothing!
Roxy: I'll be the judge of that.
Natalie: Oh, no, you won't. I said I would
keep her away from you, and I will.
Roxy: Honey, she's just dying to meet her
real mama.
Natalie: Not for long. Not when I tell her
the story of Roxy Balsom.
Roxy: Hmm. Oh, great. After you pulled the
rug out from her, I don't think she's going to believe anything you have to
say.
Natalie: Oh, yes, she will because it'll all
be true. I'll tell her how you'd forget to pick me up after school when there
was bad weather and how the teachers had to feed me dinner and sometimes take
turns keeping me overnight. And I'll tell her how you never, ever would forget
to get to the track on time, even if that meant locking me up in the house all
day.
Roxy: Well, I earned a living, gave you food
and clothing.
Natalie: Right. And when you came out ahead,
you'd go buy a brand-new bottle of booze, maybe a lime or two. I never had
money for school supplies. I had to steal every notebook that I ever had.
Roxy: Hey, Vik, you got criminal blood in
your family?
Natalie: I am so glad that I'm not related
to you. I have never been so happy about something in my whole entire life --
Roxy: Why you little tramp --
Viki: Don't you ever, ever, ever lay a hand
on her again.
Roxy: Oh, yeah, and how are you going to
stop me?
Viki: You'll find out! Now, you hurt me and
you hurt her. You are not welcome in this house. Get out!
Roxy: Ok, ok. I'm going to go for now, but
you can't keep me from my daughter. You cannot keep me from my own flesh and
blood.
Viki: Natalie, are you all right?
Natalie: No one has ever stood up for me the
way you did.
----------------------------------------------------
Al: Well, we better get going.
Jen: You know, I'm not really in a rush to
face everybody back home. All those girls at school told me that I don't
deserve to win the contest, and now I just feel like I should wear a big sign
that says "major loser" because that's pretty much --
Al: Jen, Jen, Jen -- the contest was a joke.
I mean, as far as I'm concerned, you won and those girls are jealous.
Jen: Jealous of what, being pawed at by some
weirdo photographer with a fancy camera?
Al: Look, so don't tell them if you don't
have to. But for the record, I thought it was really brave, what you did by
fighting that photographer off. That's a really, really hard spot to be in. You
know, I think it's cool that you're not -- you have the ability to show you're
not desperate, like so many other people.
Jen: I'm just so naive. I thought I was
going to end up on a billboard or something.
Al: Maybe you still will.
Jen: I couldn't even get through the first
day. I came here to prove to everybody -- and myself, I guess -- that -- that
I'm in control of my life and that I can do what I want to do without other
people stopping me.
Al: I know this was important to you.
Jen: Yeah. I mean, not at first. But
eventually it did become important.
Al: Excuse me. I have to go.
Jen: Where are you going?
Al: Excuse me.
Peg: Yeah?
Al: I'm Al Buchanan from Llanview.
Peg: Lucky you. I'm Margaret Barlow from
Brooklyn. Peg for short.
Al: Yeah, well, Asa Buchanan's my father.
You heard of him?
Peg: What's his stage name?
Al: He doesn't have one. He's the C.E.O. and
founder of Buchanan Enterprises.
Peg: That Asa Buchanan?
Al: Yeah.
Peg: The Texas billionaire? And he's your
father?
Al: Exactly. I didn't approve of what
happened today. Nor would my family.
Peg: I am not following, Dear.
Al: All right, well, follow this. What
happened with Jen never should've happened. You should've gotten rid of that
sleazebag photographer.
Peg: Josef? He's a genius.
Al: Oh, he's a genius? We'll see about that
when my lawyers file sexual harassment charges. Oh, and you can expect to see
your agency name in a solicitation suit. See, college girls, lingerie, and
photographers with roaming hands don't mix.
Peg: You can't do this. This is a highly
respected agency.
Al: Oh, I know. And the papers will love it.
Peg: You're bluffing.
Al: I'm not bluffing. I'm going to need your
full name again. You were the original person who got rid of the girl who won
the contest, right?
Peg: Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Maybe we
can work something out.
----------------------------------------------------
Starr: Where is Daddy?
Blair: I don't know, Sweetheart. He's not in
Llanview, so that gives us some time to make some plans.
Starr: What's the plan?
Blair: You know what? I can't figure
anything out if you're asking me all kinds of questions. So why don't you just
run up and do your homework, ok?
Starr: Mom, how can I do my homework when we
have a crisis on our hands?
Blair: Well, when we have a crisis, that's
when we do the things that we have to do. And right now, you have to do your
homework.
Starr: Can I do it down here? Ok.
Blair: Hey -- I love you. I love you so much.
Starr: Just figure it out.
Blair: What have you done, Todd? What is
this big surprise? Ok. Ok. I've got to figure out what Todd has done. I've got
to think like Todd. I've got to think, think, think like -- I know what he's
done. Now I know what I have to do.
----------------------------------------------------
Todd: I -- I heard this caterwauling, this
terrible screeching -- otherworldly, really --
Buck: Put the kid back in the crib and you
get out.
Todd: No, I don't think I can do that.
Buck: Why the hell not?
Todd: Oh, watch your language.
Buck: He can't even hear yet!
Todd: A lot you know about parenting. Did I
mention that I'm a doctor?
Buck: Did I mention that the door's right
behind me?
Todd: Hey, I'm trying to save -- Jeter,
right? I'm trying to save little Jeter's life here.
Buck: What?
Todd: Yeah, I'm an allergist. And what you
said downstairs about, you know, him having a lemur allergy was a complete and
utter and total misdiagnosis. And -- and -- and -- you don't know what -- Jeter
could be allergic to anything. Say, macadamia nuts. Who knows? You're going to
have to run a whole bunch of tests, a battery, a litany, if you will. And --
and this baby's really on thin ice.
Buck: What are you babbling about?
Todd: Look, I need to get Jeter out of this
environment because there's something in this home that Jeter's allergic to. So
I need to get Jeter out of the home so that I can get him treatment. Really,
you're playing with fire. Time is money.
Buck: Did you see my weapons collection when
you came in?
Todd: Yeah. Is that a real bazooka?
Buck: Yes, it is. And you take one step out
of this room with that boy, you're going to meet it up close and personal.
----------------------------------------------------
Al: So, have you rethought things?
Peg: Well, I suspected for months that Josef
was doing something sleazy. Girls would run out of there in abject terror, grab
their belongings, and vamoose.
Jen: Well, no wonder.
Peg: He even came on to me once. Dreadful
man. Power corrupts, you know. Well, good riddance, I say.
Al: Well, Peg, isn't there something else
you want to say?
Peg: Ahem. I'm -- I'm so sorry that this all
happened, dear. You won that contest fair and square. So if you still want the
assignment, I'll book another photographer. I'll get you a woman if that would
help, hmm?
Jen: I just don't know if I'm cut out for
this.
Peg: Hmm. I saw the photos. You're a natural.
Al: Yeah. Come on, Jen.
Jen: Well, I'm here. I might as well give it
a shot.
Peg: Ah -- brilliant!
Jen: Well, now I owe you another one.
Al: No, that photographer was an idiot. He
would've kept on abusing women.
Jen: Can I take you for a thank-you dinner
on my prize money?
Al: Yeah, sure. I know this great club we
can go to afterwards.
Jen: No, I can't stay out too late. I don't
want to get dark circles.
Al: Oh, no. I don't want you --
Jen: Besides, it looks like I'm going to be
here for a while.
----------------------------------------------------
Cristian: What if this Schaeffer guy had
been following me today, Antonio? I would have led him straight to Jen without
evening knowing it.
Antonio: She'll be safe in Llanview, Cris.
Cristian: Yeah, safe. Safe with Al.
Antonio: Look -- maybe after we lock up this
Schaeffer guy, you could explain everything to her, all right? It might not be
too late.
Cristian: What if he's lost interest? What
if we're doing this whole thing for nothing?
Antonio: I wish, ok? But this -- this guy --
this guy's not going to give up.
Cristian: And I wouldn't be able to live if
Jen got hurt because of me.
Antonio: Yeah, well, Jen's safe for now. But
that doesn't mean that Schaeffer's not going to find a way of getting to you,
too.
----------------------------------------------------
Keith: Now, I tried to be nice to you
before, but you were so stingy with your information. You know, frankly, it was
hurtful, so, now pretty Jessica, you're going to tell me where I can find
Cristian Vega or else this time I'm not going to be so polite.
----------------------------------------------------
Viki: I can't even imagine being a child in
that woman's house. I'm so sorry, Natalie. You never did anything to deserve
that.
Natalie: How would you know?
Viki: How would I know? Because you were a
baby. You were just an innocent little baby.
Viki: Thank you. Thank you for protecting
Jessie, too.
Viki: Actually, I don't even know where
Jessie is. Do you?
Natalie: Thanks. I forgot that Jessica's
still number one around here.
Viki: Natalie!
Natalie: No. I mean, you still care about
Jessica. Just relax. She's with the man that she formerly called her daddy.
Viki: Clint?
Natalie: Yeah, who else? Actually, I was
kind of looking forward to meeting the man, but, you know, gotten this far
without parents, so I think it'll be ok. I'll just stick with the house and the
clothes and the cold, hard cash.
----------------------------------------------------
Blair: Ow. Starr! Come on down here now!
Hurry up and bring Ichabod, all right? Hurry up! Hurry up.
Starr: Mom.
Blair: Hmm?
Starr: Would you mind telling me why there's
a suitcase?
Blair: Well, I -- I've packed a few things
that we're going to be needing.
Starr: For what?
Blair: We are leaving, Starr.
----------------------------------------------------
Todd: Ok. I'm busted. I'm not really an allergist.
Buck: No kidding.
Todd: What I am, though, is a feng shui master.
Buck: You're a what master?
Todd: I'm a master of the ancient Chinese
art of placement. Now, I would be happy to rearrange your environment here --
for a modest fee, of course.
Buck: Bull.
Todd: No, really. A good room is a happy
room, and a happy room is a wealthy room. And this room really is none of the
above. Now, little Jeter here is around some really bad feng shui, some bad
chi. It's evil. Now, I need to get Jeter around some really good feng shui, so
I'll just be --
Buck: You can call it shung fway or anything
else you want, but where I come from we call it kidnapping. Now, you put my son
back in the crib or I'm calling the police.
Todd: He's not your son. He's my son.

Next on "One Life to Live:”
Keith: You know where he is and I'm gonna make you tell me.
Troy: Why did you agree to this treatment? Nora: I just wasn't thinking clearly, you know?
Hank: Hi, Keri. This is Hank. I need to see you.
Starr: I'm not going anywhere without Daddy.
Buck: Put the baby down.
