One Life to Live Transcript Tuesday 11/13/01 By Suzanne >> Previously on "One Life to Live" -- Cristian: I hope he really believes that I don't care about Jen and that I could care less what happens to her. Antonio: Just be careful. Al: I don't think you're going to New York to start a modeling career. You're going to see Cristian. Troy: You could get back most if not all of your memory. Nora: I can't do it. Blair: The baby was yours, Todd. You were his father. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Blair: The little boy that died -- he was yours, Todd. Did you hear what I said? He was our son, yours and mine. And I'm so sorry. Todd: Don’t. Blair: What? Todd: Don't say you're sorry. There's nothing to be sorry about. ---------------------------------------- Cristian: Mami's ok? Antonio: Si, no te preocupe que mami esta bien. Cristian: How's Jen? Antonio: Last time I saw her, she was fine. Cristian: What do you mean the last time you saw her? You still have her under surveillance, don't you? Antonio: Look, Cris -- Cristian: No, you look, Antonio, she could still be in danger. ---------------------------------------- Al: Your decision to go to New York -- does that have anything to do with Cristian? Jen: No. Why would it? Al: Maybe because he's there. Jen: I hadn't even thought about that. Al: Really? Before, you had absolutely no interest in going. Jen: I changed my mind. Al: Ok. Just curious. Jen: I have no intention of seeing Cristian while I’m there -- none. Al: Ok. Jen: Ok. Al: So when's your flight? Jen: Soon. New York’s a big city. There's no possible way I’m going to see Cristian while I’m there. ---------------------------------------- [Phone rings] Troy: Hello? Nora: Troy, hi, it's Nora. I'm sorry to bother you. I just wanted to call and let you know Sam called me, he's running a little late, so I didn't want you to go to the Palace restaurant and, you know, wait there wondering where we were. Troy: Oh, ok. Well, hey, thanks for the call. That was very thoughtful of you. But hey, listen, I’m going to head over to the Palace anyway and have a drink. Why don't I swing by and pick you up? You can join me. We'll wait for Sam over there. We can kick off Matthew’s recovery celebration in style. Nora: Uh, well -- ok. Troy: Sounds good. Oh, by the way, I received a medical journal in the mail today. There was an article in there about that memory recovery treatment. Nora: Troy, I thought we had talked about this. Troy: Yeah, I know, I know, I just wanted to keep you up to date. You see, according to the article, with these new advances, the chances of you regaining your memory have gotten much better. Nora: Troy, thank you very much, but I have Matthew and I have Sam and we're planning on making a whole slew of new memories. So how can I say that isn't enough? Troy: You're right, you can’t. In fact, that sounds like the best revenge against Lindsay that I can think of. I'll see you soon. [Knock on door] Troy: Hold on. Lindsay: Ok, I came running. Now you'd better explain that message you left for me -- something about it being a matter of life and death? Troy: Good, I got your attention. Lindsay: Yes, you did. Now would you mind buttoning your shirt? Otherwise, I can't think. Troy: Lindsay, please, come on in. Make yourself at home. Lindsay: I don't know what could be so important that -- oh, no. This is about Nora, isn't it? ---------------------------------------- Nora: Hi, Sweetie pie! What you got there? Matthew: A picture for Daddy. Nora: A picture for Daddy? Let me see. Oh, my word, you're very good. You are incredibly talented! Daddy's going to love this. Matthew: Where is Daddy? Nora: He's at a wedding, Sweetheart. Matthew: Your wedding? That's why you're all dressed up? Nora: No, not -- no, not at our wedding, but thank you for noticing. Matthew: You and Daddy are getting married next, right? Nora: What? Matthew: Dr. Troy made me better, so now you and Daddy can get married. ---------------------------------------- Starr: You have to go in there. I need to know if Mommy's telling Daddy if it was his baby or not. Sam: I'm sorry, Starr, I can't do that. Starr: Either you go in there or I will. ---------------------------------------- Blair: Nothing to be sorry about? I just made the biggest mistake of my life by not telling you that that was your child, Todd. Todd: Blair -- Blair: You never got to know him, to love him. You resented your own son. And why? Because I lied to you, Todd. And then I went down to Mexico to keep you from knowing the truth, and that's -- that's why our baby died, because of me. That's why I could never marry you. Todd: No, no, wait, wait, whoa, just shut up for one second, ok? Blair: What? Todd: Look; we can still get married just like we planned, all right? Come on. Blair: No, I just told you, Todd -- Todd: Look, I know what you told me, but I don't believe you. It's not my kid! It couldn't be my kid. ---------------------------------------- Jen: I don't even want to see Cristian there. I'm going to New York for me. I mean, meeting with this agency -- it's important. Al: Well, I'm glad to hear you say that. Because, you know, you're gorgeous. I wouldn't want to deprive the world of what I get to see on a daily basis. Jen: You're a nut. Al: As long as you're aware of that. Jen: I just need to do this, you know? I need to do something to make myself feel better again. Al: Well, it makes me really angry that he makes you get down on yourself. Jen: Wait till I'm in some magazine or on one of those really big billboards, you know, looking all glammed-up and sexy. He's going to be so sorry he dumped me. Al: You know, Jen, it's starting to sound like it really is about Cristian. Jen: No, not at all. Really. It's about you. ---------------------------------------- Troy: You know, Lindsay, this may come as a surprise to you, but not everything has to do with Nora. Lindsay: Please. You have your brother's face and your brother's obsession. Troy: I'm my brother's identical twin. End of story. Lindsay: You know, the last time I saw you, you were accusing me of being the one responsible for Nora losing her memory. Troy: Yeah, look, about that -- Lindsay: Hmm, matter of life and death, my foot. This is all about Nora. Troy: You finished? Lindsay: My daughter needs me right now. She's taking off for New York. If you'll excuse me. Troy: Look, I don't want to take you away from your family. I just wanted to apologize, that's all. Lindsay: For what? Troy: For suggesting that you were the one who gave Nora that memory drug. Lindsay: You did more than just suggest that, Troy. Troy: You're right, I did. And I shouldn't have. Please accept my apologies. Lindsay: Is this some kind of trick? Troy: Not at all. Lindsay: So tell me again why you're apologizing? Troy: Because I was wrong -- and because I need your help. Lindsay: With Nora? Troy: Why do you keep saying that? Lindsay: Well, because I saw the way you looked at her at the hospital. You were practically falling all over yourself. Troy: You know, if you would just listen for once -- Lindsay: I don't have to. I already know this story. I heard it from Hank, Bo, Colin. When Sam and I were married, he talked about her constantly. He was convinced that Nora was his soul mate. Why are you looking at me like that? Troy: Because it's pretty obvious to me that you're the one who's obsessed with Nora. ---------------------------------------- Nora: Sweetie, Daddy and I can't get married just because you want us to get married. We have to get married because we want to get married. Matthew: Don't you want to get married? Nora: Well, uh -- hmm. Daddy and I care about each other very, very much and we both love you very, very much. So we're going to -- you know what we're going to do? Matthew: We're going to get married? Nora: You got a one-track mind, kid. I meant tonight, silly. Matthew: What? Nora: After Daddy and I have dinner with Dr. Troy to thank him for making you all better, Daddy and I are going to, um, sit down and figure things out between us. Matthew: What kind of things? Nora: Grownup things that you don't need to worry about, ok? But we're going to talk about the future -- our future. Understand, hmm? Matthew: Yeah, I guess. Nora: Good. Good. Matthew: What happens when you make your decisions? Keri: I'd like to know the answer to that, too. Nora: Uh -- come here. You need to go get ready for bath time. Marianne's going to be here any minute now. Go, go, go. Scoot, scoot, scoot. I feel like I'm getting ganged up on here. Keri: You ought to be. Dinner with two eligible guys -- one a doctor, one a lawyer. I want your life. Nora: Oh, please trust me, you don’t. Keri: So? Tell me, who are you all dressed up for, Troy or Sam? ---------------------------------------- Sam: Now, listen to me, Starr; I’m not going to lie to you. I can't promise you that your father won't take this news badly and do something, uh -- Starr: Stupid? Sam: Well, yeah. But I can promise you that I’m going to be right there and I'm going to help your father through this, ok? Starr: You don't get it, do you? Once my mom tells my dad that it was his little baby who went to heaven, you won't be able to help him. No one will. ---------------------------------------- Blair: You think I'm lying to you about the baby? Todd: Well, it wouldn't be the first time, would it? Blair: It wasn't Max’s, Todd, it was yours. Todd: You keep saying that. Why do you keep saying that? Blair: Because I'm telling you the truth! Todd: Right, the truth. I see. That's why you were going to marry Max? Because you were pregnant with my kid? Blair: Because I was afraid that you would take the baby just like you took Starr from me. Todd: That's why you were madly in love with Max because you were having my kid? Todd: Don't forget that part. Blair: I was never in love with Max, Todd. I was always and only in love with you the whole time. Our baby was conceived that one night that we were together. Do you remember that night? Todd: No, all I remember is you saying that it was Max’s kid over and over and over. Blair: Because I thought it was, I did, at first! And then the doctors told me how far along I was and I then I knew absolutely that it was your son. Todd: No, I'm not buying any of this. Blair: Come on, Todd, you were there! You were there when he was born! You delivered him to the world! Todd: Right, I did. What a mess. Blair: Couldn't you tell? I mean, when you -- when you looked at his little eyes, couldn't you see? Todd: It was Max’s kid. That was -- that was Max’s kid. Blair: Couldn't you tell how small he was? Todd: All babies are small. Blair: He was premature, Todd! Todd: No, no baby of mine would've been premature! Blair: But didn't anybody say anything to you? Todd: No. Blair: Maybe Paloma, the doctors, anything? Todd: Nobody said anything to me. Blair: What about when you -- when you held him? Couldn't you tell, Todd, when you held him in your arms? Todd: Get rid of it. Paloma: Senor! Todd: You heard me. Just get rid of it. Blair: Todd, please, look at me. I know how -- Todd: No, you don't know. Blair: Hurt you must be to know that you lost your child. Todd: You don't understand. Blair: Yes, I do. Tell me, please? What is it? ---------------------------------------- Cristian: You took the undercover cop off Jen? Antonio: Cris, she hasn't been in danger since you left to New York. Cristian: Antonio, you don't know that. Antonio: We haven't seen Shaeffer in days. Cristian: Exactly! So you don't know where he's at or what he's up to. He could be after Jen right now, Antonio. Antonio: Look, Cris, I'm telling you she's safe, ok? The only that's got to be careful is you. You're the one that's got to watch your back, and you can't do that if you're thinking about her. Cristian: And how am I supposed to stop thinking about her, man? I love her. Antonio: Look, I know breaking up with her was tough, but you did the right thing. Cristian: That doesn't make it any easier. Antonio: Yeah. Well, she's safe, and she's going to stay that way because of you. Cristian: That's -- yeah, yeah, that's the main thing. Antonio: What about everything else? Everything else cool? You need anything? Cristian: No. No, I just -- I just have to get on with my life, I guess. Find a job, make some money. Antonio: All right. I'll be in touch. Cristian: Yeah. Later. Cristian: I miss you, Jen. ---------------------------------------- Al: Ok, you're going to New York because of me. You want to explain that? Jen: Well, you're the one that entered me in the contest. I didn't want to do it and you knew that it would be good for me. Al: Jen, I think you're looking for some deeper meaning here that doesn't exist. Jen: You always know exactly what I need. And you always put me before everything, including yourself. That means a lot to me. Al: That's how I feel. Jen: Well, I want to be as good of a friend to you as you are to me. Al: It's easy to be a good friend to you, Jen. Oh, hey, Amber. Amber: Congratulations on winning that modeling contest. Jen: Thanks. Al: See? It's all over campus. Amber: I read about Mr. Buchanan in the newspaper. Must really be hard. Al: Yeah, it is. But I'm doing all right. Amber: Do you need a friend for the memorial service? Al: No, it's ok. I appreciate it, though. Amber: Well, if you change your mind -- Al: I'll give you a call. Thanks. What are you doing? Jen: Canceling my meeting. Al: What? Why? Jen: I'm going with you to your father's memorial service. ---------------------------------------- Nora: You are just as bad as Matthew, only you're a grownup! Keri: Well, what can I say? The kid asked good questions. Nora: Well, he has to, he has lawyers for parents! But you -- to answer your question, I am dressed up for Sam. After Sam and I take Dr. Troy out for a celebratory dinner because Matthew’s all well, he and I are going to have a little special evening of our own. Keri: Very special from the looks of things. Nora: Ok, that's it, I'm changing. Keri: Hey, don't you dare. I'm just teasing you. Nora: I just want to spend a night alone with Sam. Keri: It's your first in a really long time. Nora: Yeah, it's -- it's like a fresh start for both of us, you know? Keri: And the fact that Troy is a part of it? Nora: You know, when Troy first came to town, it caused a lot of trouble between Sam and me. It did. I mean, I was too terrified for words and Sam was overly protective. Keri: Because he cares about you. Nora: Yes, I know. I know that, but, you know, then Matthew got sick and I had to trust Troy. I had to put Matthew’s life in his hands, and that angered Sam because he didn't want him anywhere near his son. Keri: That couldn't have been easy. Nora: No. We fought about it, but we made it through. Keri: Well, you know, the bottom line is that Sam knew you were doing what was best for Matthew. He believes in you, Nora. Nora: He believes in our future. Hmm. Keri: So is Sam going to be ok with this evening? Nora: It was his idea. Keri: I am very impressed. Nora: He showed me that you've got to move on from the past, and if he can do it, I can do it. Keri: And forget about what happened to you? Nora: To have a future with Sam? Hmm, absolutle, noodle. Keri: Well, then it seems the two of you have something very special. ---------------------------------------- Lindsay: I am not obsessed with Nora. Troy: If you say so. Lindsay: The entire time Sam and I were married, he was in love with her. How do you think that was for me? Troy: I'm sure that couldn't have been easy for you. Lindsay: I have been compared to her over and over and I have never once measured up. Troy: Look, Lindsay, I didn't call you to talk about Nora. I don't have time to get involved with anyone, much less a woman who's in love with someone else. Lindsay: Oh, so Nora’s in love with Sam again. Troy: I don't know, and it's none of my business. Lindsay: But that's what you think. Troy: Can we focus here for a second? Lindsay: What do you want from me? Troy: I'd like to talk to you about my clinic. The hospital board told me that you loaned them the gallery for some of their benefits. I was hoping that maybe you could help me plan a fundraiser. Lindsay: Yeah, sure. Fine. Whatever you want. Troy: That was easy. Thank you. Lindsay: Could we just get back to the Sam and Nora thing? I mean, is there something going on that -- that I don't know about? ---------------------------------------- Blair: I swear you can tell me whatever it is that you're feeling. I'll understand. Todd: No. It's not -- there's no way he could be my kid. Blair: Why do you keep saying that? Todd: Because you were in love with Max, that's why. Blair: Only because Sam told me that if I -- Todd: Whoa, wait, wait. Whoa, whoa, so you told Sam? Blair: Yes. Todd: And he believed you? Blair: Yes. Todd: What an idiot. Blair: He's not the only one who believes me, Todd? Todd: Really? Ok, who else? Blair: Kelly, Mama, Max, and Larry. Todd: Ninny, loon, chump. Who's Larry? Blair: And Starr, Todd. Todd: Really? What about Starr? Blair: Yeah, Starr believes me. Why don't you? ---------------------------------------- Starr: Mommy made me promise not to tell Daddy it was his baby because he'd be upset. Is that why she made you promise? Sam: Well, she told me as her lawyer and I can't -- Starr, it's not my place to get involved in your parents' relationship. Todd: Ok, tell me you two don't actually believe that this dead Mexican baby is my kid, do you? Todd: Ok, somebody say something! Starr: Daddy, I’m sorry. Todd: Why would you be sorry, Starr? Sam: Todd, maybe we should leave. Todd: Sam, is somebody talking to you right now? No, so shut up. Starr, what? Why would you be sorry? Starr: Mommy told me not to tell you because it was a secret. Todd: Right, but you and I, we don't keep secrets, do we? Starr: Well, I was afraid if I told you that -- Todd: You were afraid of what? Starr: That you'd take me away from Mommy. Todd: Right, but I’m not going to do that today. Starr: Promise? Todd: Yeah, sure. See, the thing is I don't believe a word that your mother says, but I want to know why you believe her. Starr: Because I -- I -- Blair: Starr? Tell Daddy the truth. Starr: But you told me not to. Blair: I know that I did, but you know what? I was wrong. Todd: Starr, what did your mother tell you? Starr: Mommy didn't tell me anything! She told you! Todd: What is that supposed to mean? Starr: Mommy wrote a letter to you. Todd: Ok, your mother wrote a letter to me. Starr: Grandma put it in the collage. Todd: What, the macaroni thing? Starr: It wasn't just macaroni! It had the letter to you and a lot of other stuff! Todd: So Blair’s letter to me was in the collage? Starr: I'll go get it. Todd: No, no, no, forget the pasta thing. It's really not important. Just tell me what the letter said. Starr: Should I, Mommy? Blair: I'll tell you, Todd. Todd: No, no, no. God knows what you'll come up with. I want to hear it from her. What did it say, Starr? Blair: Go ahead. Starr: Well, it was in script, and you know I can read script now! Todd: That's great. What did it say? Starr: It said, "It's your baby, Todd." Mommy told me not to tell you because you'd be upset. Todd: She said that? Starr: Daddy, please don't be sad. ---------------------------------------- Al: No, you don’t. You're not going to cancel your meeting. Jen: Why not? Al: The memorial service is going to be really awful and I wouldn't feel good knowing I kept you from going to New York. On top of Asa dying? Jen, I couldn't handle that much. Jen: You sure? Al: Yeah. Jen: All right. Al: You know what I think it is? I think all this talk about Christian’s got you spooked. You're looking for a way out. Am I right? Jen: Maybe a little. Al: You need to do this, Jen, you know that? You're not going to run into Cristian. Jen: I know. Al: So go to New York, have fun. Hurry back and tell me all about it, ok? Jen: It's a deal. Thank you. Al: You're welcome. Jen: You're my best friend, you know that? See you. Al: See you. ---------------------------------------- Troy: I wasn't implying anything about Nora and Sam’s relationship. Lindsay: But you say there is a relationship? Troy: They have a child together. Of course there's a relationship. Lindsay: So what? Sam and I have two children together. Troy: Good. So then you can understand. Besides, Matthew was pretty sick recently. Lindsay: But he's better now, right? Troy: Yes, thankfully. Lindsay: And they're still spending time together? Troy: I don't know. I guess Matthew’s scare brought them closer together, don't you think? Lindsay: I don't know what to think. I mean, what is it about her? She murders your brother -- of course, I’m the one that gets blamed for it -- and during the trial I made some huge sacrifices for my family, yet Nora’s still a hero in Sam’s eyes. Troy: Well, that's your point of view. Lindsay: No, it's the truth. Troy: In any case, I guess it just goes to show how strong the bond is between the two of them. Lindsay: Not necessarily. Troy: What do you mean "not necessarily"? Lindsay: Well, there was a time right after the trial that Sam and I started to get close again. I moved into his house. The kids were living there, too. Troy: I'm sure it must've been just like "The Brady Bunch." Lindsay: It was a really special time. And then Nora decided that she was interested in Sam again. Troy: And she drove Will out of town then? Lindsay: No, Jessica Buchanan did that. But to top it all off, Jen fell in love with Cristian Vega. Troy: And that was Nora’s fault? Lindsay: No, but it wasn't my fault, either. But, of course, Sam blamed me for that, too. What? Troy: You're in love with Sam, aren't you? Lindsay: Where do you get that? I'm just saying that she doesn't deserve him, that's all. You know what? I really have to go now. This time I mean it. Troy: Now, whoa, whoa, wait a minute. We didn't talk about the fundraiser. Lindsay: I told you I would do it. I just need you to call me for some details. Troy: Well, I can give you the details right now. Lindsay: Well, I can't do it right now. I've got a meeting at The Palace. Troy: The palace? Lindsay: Yeah, unfortunately, it's the only halfway decent place in Llanview to do business. Call me with those details. Troy: And fortunately, it's the only place in Llanview to celebrate the recovery of a little boy. ---------------------------------------- Lindsay: Renee? Have you seen my client? Renee: What? Lindsay: Mrs. Holmes. She was supposed to meet me here. Renee: Lindsay -- Lindsay: It's going to be a problem for me if I have to sit here. You know, I can’t. Renee: Then go. Lindsay: Excuse me? Renee: There is the door. Lindsay: Well, what's the matter with you? Renee: What's the matter with me? Lindsay, I have more important things to do than worry about your precious client. Lindsay: Oh, oh, oh -- Asa. He was an ogre. Come on, you ought to be grateful he divorced you -- twice. Renee: Mrs. Holmes called. She's running late. Lindsay: Well, what does she expect me to do, sit here all day? I have better things to do with my life. Renee: You do? A lonely, bitter, miserable woman who has so much time on her hands because her complete self-absorption has everybody running in the opposite direction? Lindsay: How dare you. Renee: Lindsay -- darling, people can't bear you any longer. I'll tell you why -- they don't like you any longer. They can't stand you. Lindsay: Well, that's not true. People like me. I'm a good person. Nora's voice: Tell me something, Mrs. Rappaport, can you name one person in this whole town who would vouch for your honesty? That's all I want. I just want one name. Just give me the name of one person who would do that. Can you do that for me, please? Lindsay: You make me sick! Nora: I'd like you to leave my son's room right now, please. Sam: Yeah, I think you should leave, Lindsay. Jen: I have told you in as many possible ways as I can think of that I don't want you in my life. Lindsay: It's pouring outside! I'll get soaked! Sam: Should've thought of that before you betrayed your own daughter! Lindsay: No, Sam! No! Sam: Get out! Lindsay: Sam! Nora: One. Can you do that? Lindsay: Uh, no. I can’t. Nora: No. You can’t. ---------------------------------------- Nora: Wait a second -- why am I the one doing all the talking here? I'm not the only one with a life, a love life. Keri: What are you talking about? Nora: "What are you talking about?" I'm talking about your blind date with Antonio, that's what. Keri: Oh, that. Nora: Yes, that! So? Keri: Well -- Nora: "Well"? It was bad. Was it bad? Keri: No, no, no, not at all. Well, at first, things were a little bumpy. But they smoothed out after that. Nora: Oh, they did, did they? Keri: He's an amazing dancer. Nora: I knew it! I knew it! Do I know how to pick them or what? Keri: Yes, you do. Nora: So? So you going to see him again? Keri: I hope so. Ok, back to you. Nora: What? No, we just got to the good stuff. I mean, the dancing machine and stuff. Keri: Stop! Nora: Come on. What? Keri: This Sam thing -- is there a future there? Nora: Oh -- a couple of years ago, I was very much in love with Sam, but I don't remember it. Keri: But when you look at him now? Nora: Well, I know exactly why I was in love with him. Keri: That is so awful what happened to you. Nora: Hey. I got to learn to move on, you know? I can't be going into the future while looking back at a past I don't even remember. I've got to focus on the present and the future. Keri: Which is looking pretty good. Nora: Well, I'll tell you this much -- it may not be the first time or the third time or the fourth time, but this time if I’m going to fall in love with Sam Rappaport, I’m going to remember it -- every minute of it. ---------------------------------------- Starr: Are you mad at me for not telling you, Daddy? Todd: No. Sam: You didn't do anything wrong, Starr. Todd: Starr, go away now because I need to talk to Sam. Starr: Ok. Daddy? Todd: What? Starr: You know my little brother? I wish it really wasn't my little brother, you know, who died. I don't know how it happened, but I’m really sorry that it did. Todd: So, Sam, you believed Blair, huh? Sam: Yes, I do. Todd: Hmm. Great. Why? Sam: Because she told me herself. Todd: Oh, and Blair never lies? Sam: She told me as her lawyer, Todd. She needed advice. Todd: Right, advice so that you could -- oh, you really got what you wanted, didn't you? Sam: Todd, I was there when the Braxton-Hicks contraction occurred. Todd: Bully for you. I was there when it really happened. It wasn't pretty. Sam: Both Dr. MacIver and Dr. Conklin knew it was too early for that baby to be born. Believe me, Todd, it was your baby. Todd: And you're never wrong about paternity, are you? Sam: I'm going to let that comment slide because I know you're upset, Todd. Todd: Upset? I'm not upset. Do I look upset? This is what I look like when I’m in a happy place. Sam: If you don't believe me, just call Dr. Conklin. Call the hospital, check the records. It's all there. Todd: I want for you to leave. Because if this is true -- and I don't think it is -- but if it is true and you didn't tell me, Sam -- you're supposed to be on my side. And you're not. Blair: You should go, Sam. Sam: You sure? Blair: I'll be ok. Sam: You need each other right now, Todd. You don't have to go through this alone. Don't let this come between you. Todd: Stop talking. [Door opens and closes] Blair: So do you believe me that he was your son? Blair: Look at me, Todd. Please? Sam: Todd, you have to go find Blair. You have to find her before it's too late. Go find her. Tell her that you love her -- you know you do -- and then ask her to tell you what she told me. Todd: You know, the baby was your brother, but the baby really wasn't anything to me. Starr: Yes, it was. Todd: It wasn't even really your brother. He was your half-brother. He had your mother and -- and nothing to do with me. Starr: That's just it! Max has nothing to do with the baby! Daddy -- Blair: Starr! Starr: You're the baby's -- Blair: Starr, Starr! What are you saying? Todd: It's -- it's true, isn't it? That is my baby. ---------------------------------------- Keri: Ok, so promise me you're not going to rush home after dinner. When Marianne leaves, I can look after Matthew. Nora: No, I'm going to ask you to do that. Keri: Don’t. The important thing is that you spend time with Sam. Nora: All right, if I'm going to be really late, I'll call you. Keri: And I'll tell you not to worry. Nora: Oh. How do I look? Do I look ok? Keri: Do you have to ask? Nora: Yes, of course I have to ask. [Doorbell rings] Nora: That's why I’m asking. Oh, my God. Ok, Troy’s here now. Keri: Do you want me to stay? Nora: No, no, I'm fine, really, sweetie. I have no reason to be uncomfortable around him, especially not in my own home, not now. Keri: All right.
