One Life to Live Transcript Wednesday 11/7/01 By Suzanne >> Previously on "One Life to Live" -- Max: I'm not going to leave you alone. Gabrielle: Please -- please don't leave me tonight. Please. Todd: Will you marry me? Blair: Yes! Yes! Jen: You showed me that the end of Cristian isn't the end of the world or me. Antonio: What are you doing tomorrow night? Keri: Let's just get your paper squared away first. Viki: I think we should pay this Mrs. Balsom a little visit. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [Phone rings] Ben: Hello. Viki: Hi, it's me. I just got here. I'm actually standing right outside the house. Ben: So you haven't met Natalie's mom yet? Viki: Nope. I'm working up my nerve. Ben: You know, I can be there in a few hours. Viki: No, no, no, Ben. Come on. It's much more important that you stay there with Jessica, you know, just in case. Ben: Is something wrong? I can hear it in your voice. Viki: No, it's just -- well, the house isn't exactly what I expected, that's all. Ben: Look, you don't have to do this today. Viki: Oh, yes, I do. Look, this woman, this Mrs. Balsom, she might know how Allison switched the babies. Ben: I just have a bad feeling about this. I think I should be there with you. Viki: No, no, honestly. We talked about this, and you're right, ok? You have to stay there with Jessica. I don't trust Natalie. I don't know what she might do to Jessie. Besides, I think I have to do this alone, you know, kind of mother to mother. I mean, it is so strange to think that I'm about to meet Jessica's real mother. Ben: You're her real mother. I don't care who gave birth to her. Viki: I know, but I'm not her biological mother. Ben: Ok, just call me the minute you're done, all right? Viki: I will. Bye. Woman: All right, already. Where's the fire? What? Viki: Roxanne Balsom? Woman: Who wants to know? Viki: My name is Victoria Davidson, and I'm here about -- Woman: Spit it out, honey. Viki: I'm here about your daughter. ----------------------------------------- [Door opens and closes] Ben: Hey. Did you have a good run? Jessica: I thought it would get my mind off things. Ben: Did it? Jessica: No, it didn't. I just kept thinking about Natalie in that Cinderella dress. You know, the worst part about it is she actually looked ok. Ben: Well, she's a pretty girl -- on the outside, anyway. Jessica: She couldn't have picked a better way to rub it in. She dresses up as Cinderella and I’m like the stupid, ugly stepsister. Ben: Well, you know what? That's what Natalie and Allison want you to believe. They want you to feel that, so don't let them win. Jessica: And how do I do that, Ben? Ben: Come on, Jessie. Remember who you are. You have grace and dignity and an inner beauty. Natalie doesn't have any of those things. Jessica: Yeah, well, Natalie’s a Buchanan. I'm the one who's the impostor. Ben: You're not an impostor. You're the spitting image of your mother. Jessica: We don't know that anymore, do we? Ben: I do, and so does Viki, and so does the rest of the family. Jessica: I saw Grandpa. He went on and on about how I'm his flesh and blood and I'm a Buchanan. He said that he loves me. Ben: He does. Jessica: But Natalie is his flesh and blood, not me. I didn't even have the heart to tell him the truth. Ben: You are Asa's granddaughter. Nothing can change that. Jessica: Don't you remember when he found out Max was his son? He really -- he really loved him, you know, and then as soon as he found out he wasn't, look at him now. He can't even stand the sight of him. Ben: You're not Max, Jessie. You're Asa’s little girl. Jessica: Well, now he has another one. [Doorbell rings] Ben: I'll get it. Renee. Renee: Ben -- Ben: What is it? What's wrong? Renee: Oh, Jessica. Jessica: What? Renee: It's Asa. Jessica: What? What happened? Renee: He's gone. Ben: What do you mean, "gone"? Renee: It seems that he might have had another heart attack. Jessica: What? Renee: Jessica, darling, he didn't make it this time. Jessica: No. No. ----------------------------------------- Gabrielle: Max, thank you so much for staying here with me last night. This house has become such a haunted place. Max: Well, that's just your mind in overdrive. Gabrielle: No. I see Asa’s face leering at me everywhere I go. Max: Gabrielle, you can't afford a meltdown right now. Gabrielle: Oh, why not? Max: Because you have to hold it together a little while longer. Gabrielle: And how do we do that? Do you have any brilliant ideas? Max: Act normal. Gabrielle: Normal. What's normal? Max: As in nothing is wrong. Nigel: But something is wrong. Most assuredly wrong. Max: Nigel, I’m sorry. I know you loved Asa. Nigel: You may keep your sympathy, Mr. Holden. There's one thing I'd like to know. Max: Well, anything. What is it? Nigel: Which one of you is responsible for Mr. Buchanan's death? Gabrielle: How dare you accuse us of -- Nigel: "Murder" is the word. Was it you, Madam? Did you do it? Max: That is enough! Gabrielle: What a horrible thing to say. Why would you say such a horrible thing? Bo: I'd like to hear the answer to that myself. ----------------------------------------- Jen: Don't stop. [Doorbell rings] Al: Hey. Jen: Hey. Al: Can I come in? Jen: Yeah. Sorry. Al: You ok? Jen: Yeah, I just need some coffee. Do you want some? Al: No. No, I'm good. Thanks. Jen: Ok, I can make some breakfast. Or I have a couple of takeout menus. Maybe we could just order something in. Al: I'm not hungry, Jen. I wanted to see you, that's all. Jen: Oh. Al: I want to talk about what happened last night between us at the quarry. ----------------------------------------- Boy: Missing something? Todd: I don't want to see that thing ever again. Paloma: Que? Todd: I'm going to give you some money. This is money. This is American money. It's dollars. Paloma: Por que? Todd: Fine. Take all of it. Paloma: Por que? Todd: Just get rid of that thing. It's got to be like a bad burrito or something. Everything's fine. Everything's fine. I'm getting married. Todd: Blair? So, what do you say? You ready to be the next Mrs. Todd Manning again? Blair: I can't wait. Todd: Yeah. We'll get it right this time. I mean, third or fourth time -- that's got to the charm, right? Blair: I just want it simple, and I just want it soon. Todd: I don't think it'll be simple. You know, Starr wants to bring a pony. And she bought, like, a $4,000 designer outfit. Blair: You gave her the credit card. Sam: Hey, excuse me for barging in, but I couldn't wait any longer for a formal invitation. Todd: How did you know? Sam: Well, I was standing right there when Troy talked you through the delivery. Todd: Right. Sam: This is from Matthew. So where's the little tyke? Todd: Sam, this isn't really a good -- Sam: I'm proud of you, Todd. You've brought a new life into this world. Blair: Sam, you don't know the whole story. Sam: Well, I know it was touch-and-go for a while. And what were you thinking, going so far away from civilization like that in your condition? Blair: I wasn't thinking. Sam: Well, it doesn't matter now. Like I said, Matthew gave me this to give to you. And if you need any instructions on how to make siren noises, I got pretty good at it -- Todd: Sam, shut up, ok? That's enough. Sam: What? What happened? Blair: There were some complications, and the baby -- Todd: Died. He didn't make it, Sam. Sam: I'm so sorry. I had no idea. Can you forgive me? Blair: You didn't know. Sam: I'm really sorry, Todd. I'm really sorry. Todd: It's not all bad news. Blair and I are going to get hitched. Sam: You're getting married? Todd: Yeah, well -- Sam: You just lost a child. Are you serious? Todd: Life goes on. And, you know, it's important for -- well, for Starr and, you know, stuff. Sam: Are you ok with this, Blair? I mean, it does seem a little rushed, given the circumstances. Blair: Well, I'm still numb, but -- Todd’s right. Yeah. It's -- it's right and it's important for Starr. Sam: Well, you have to do what's right for you, too. Blair: It's right for me. Sam: Ok, well, when are you planning to get married? Todd: Right now. You'll be the best man, right? Sam: Right now? Todd: Yeah, well, you got to, you know, strike before the iron freezes over. Sam: Ok. Well, I'm happy for the both of you, and of course I'll be your best man. Todd: Great. Well, I'll make some calls. We'll get everybody here -- Viki, Jessica. We'll even invite Ben. Sam: Well, I don't think they'll be able to make it. Todd: Oh, no, they'll make it. Come on, we're getting married. They'll be here. Why, where else would they have to be? Sam: At Asa Buchanan’s funeral. ----------------------------------------- Jessica: Grandpa's dead? I can't believe it. Renee: I'm sorry to be the one that -- I just -- I didn't want you to hear it from a stranger. Ben: He had a heart attack? Renee: It seems so. They'll know better after the autopsy. Ben: When did this happen? Renee: Last night. He was at home, and I think it was quick. I know it's difficult, darling. We always thought that he would be here, didn't we? Jessica: No, I -- this can't be true. Come on. I can't lose my grandfather, too. Renee: This is unbelievable. They were so close, Ben. What did she just mean? That she lost someone else? What -- who else did she lose? Ben: It's a long story, but she was talking about Viki. Come on, I’ll make you a cup of tea. ----------------------------------------- Woman: My daughter? You mean the bad seed? Viki: What? Woman: Don't tell me. She ripped you off. Viki: Not exactly, no. Woman: Look, lady, my kid is over 18 years old, so any beef that you got with her, it's between the two of you. When she snuck out of here two years ago, she helped herself to my whole life savings. Viki: She stole from you? Woman: Mm-hmm. She took 300 bucks that was stuffed under my mattress -- gone. You know how long it takes to make 300 bucks at the slots? Viki: No, I don't. Woman: Long! Atlantic City's no promised land, believe me, no matter what they say on TV. Viki: Did -- I’m sorry -- did you just say you haven't seen her in two years? Woman: You from social services? Viki: No. No, I promise you, I’m not. I just happen to know your daughter. Woman: Well, you know where I can get my hands on her, because I'd like both of them around her throat. Viki: No, I don't. I really just wanted to ask you a few questions about her. Woman: Well, come in. Take a load off. Viki: Thanks. Woman: Hors d'oeuvre? [Woman laughs] Woman: Excuse the mess, Ms. -- Viki: Oh -- Davidson. Woman: Well, the maid quit on me. Viki: Right. That's a joke, right? Woman: Hell, no! Viki: Oh. Sorry. You had a maid. Woman: Yeah! Natalie. She had three talents -- cooking, cleaning, and making my life miserable. Viki: How can you talk that way about your own daughter? Woman: Natalie? Natalie's not my daughter. ----------------------------------------- Rae: Hello. Earth to Keri. Unless, of course, you are not ready to come back. Is that it? Keri: Rae, thank you for meeting me. Can I get you a coffee? Rae: No, no, no. I've had my limit. Ok. What was so urgent? Keri: Well, I know that you said that your plate's full right now, but I wanted to ask you again if you would consider taking over as Antonio Vega’s advisor? Rae: So I assume that you still feel the same way about him, that -- let me see -- how did you put that? "He is the most arrogant, egotistical, pigheaded man I’ve ever met." Keri: Not exactly. Rae: Really? Keri: Well, Nora set us up on a blind date last night. Rae: And what did she say when she saw the two of you spitting at each other? Keri: Well, we didn't want to hurt her feelings, so we went out on a date. Rae: Ah, so you've discovered the error of your ways. Keri: Let's just say I’m willing to give Officer Vega the benefit of the doubt. But there's this student-teacher thing. Rae: Ah, yes, of course. Well, I'm not going to stand in the way of romance. You know, the man that I was seeing, he had to go to San Francisco to work for a year. Keri: I know. I heard. It must be so hard. Rae: I miss him. But we're not kids, and if it's right, it'll last. Keri: Well, he would be an idiot to leave you. Rae: Believe me, I'm as crazy as anybody else. Keri: I bet he likes that. [Rae laughs] Keri: So, you'll do it? Rae: Oh, yes, of course I’ll do it. I will work my persuasive charms on the Dean, and then you and Antonio can have your extracurricular relationship. How's that? Antonio: That's not going to happen. No way, no how. ----------------------------------------- Bo: Nigel, why do you think that Max and Gabrielle were involved in my father's death? Nigel: Well, sir, I don't have any concrete evidence per se. Max: Damn right you don't. Nigel: But ever since Mr. Buchanan brought that woman to this house, well, the hair on the back of my neck has been standing on end. Call it instinct. Bo: Well, I appreciate that, but other than the hair thing, have you noticed anything suspicious? Nigel: Something's going on between these two -- secrets, fishy looks, like they were plotting something. And now this -- this tragedy is no coincidence. Max: This man is insane. You cannot believe him. He's been staying up too late watching old movies. Bo: Well, Max, let him talk. You're going to get your chance. Gabrielle: Nigel, would you please go and lay out my clothes. The rest of the family members will be here any moment. Nigel: Madam, lay them out yourself. Gabrielle: What? Nigel: I was employed by Mr. Buchanan, not by you, and so help me, I will not lift a finger to help you again. Gabrielle: You can't do this. Nigel: Oh, yes, I can. Consider this my resignation, effective immediately. I'm very sorry for your loss, Commissioner. Please accept my sincere condolences. Bo: Thanks, Nigel. You know, Pa loved you very much. Nigel: Well, Mr. Buchanan was -- he was just the best. I know you will find out who's responsible for this. Don't let them get away with it. Gabrielle: Poor, poor Nigel. He is obviously overwhelmed with grief and is unable to accept the fact that Asa died of natural causes. Bo: No, no, wait, wait. Let's not get too far ahead right now because we don't really know that for sure. ----------------------------------------- Keri: What do you mean, no way? I thought you wanted -- I thought we wanted to go out? Antonio: Well, I do. More than anything in the world. It's just that the Dean has other ideas. Keri: You told her the truth? Antonio: Well, no, no. I used words like, you know, "irreconcilable differences," and then she said -- and I quote -- "no way." Rae: I think probably she's protecting me. I've been sort of vocal lately about my workload. Antonio: Oh, that's a shocker. Rae: Hey! You want me to help you or not? Antonio: I do. Rae: All right. I'll go soften her up. Hmm. Antonio: Whoo. I want to go out with you again. Very much so. Keri: Well, I was looking forward to it myself. Antonio: Well, then, maybe I should just give up this promotion. Keri: You can't do that. This is a very big chance for you. It's why we met, remember? Antonio: How can I forget? Keri: I mean, you can't sacrifice your dream for something that's not a sure thing. You could end up hating me. Antonio: Oh, I seriously doubt that. Keri: Is that position open right now? Antonio: Yeah. Keri: Well, you have to go for it. Antonio: What, and forget about you? Keri: We have no choice. Right now we need to be student and teacher. Antonio: Ok. So that means our relationship has to be -- Antonio and Keri: Strictly professional. Antonio: Right. ----------------------------------------- Al: Jen, what happened last night between us was a big deal. Jen: Yeah, it was great, really. Al: So that's why you're not looking at me? Jen: I'm just not a morning person. Al: I need to know, Jen -- was last night a one-time thing or is it possibly the start of something for us? Jen: Al -- Al: I mean, just be honest with me, you know, straight out. Jen: You're an amazing guy. You're my best friend here. You've stood by me, and you've never asked me for anything. Al: You saved my life. That's kind of a big deal. Jen: Al, I'm just not in love with you. I'm in love with Cristian. Al: How can that be, Jen, after the way he treated you? Jen: I don't know. But it's the truth. I still love him. And it's not very fair to make you wait around. Al: Ok. I'm not going to pressure you. Jen: You never do that. Al: But last night did mean something to me. It meant a lot. Jen: It meant something to me, too. Al: Well -- um -- anyway, I just -- I wanted to come by and drop these off. They got sent to my house. Jen: What are they? Al: Just stuff about the modeling contest, so -- I know you're upset, ok, but you're way too beautiful to let an opportunity like this go to waste. I'll call you, ok? Jen: Ok. ----------------------------------------- Blair: Asa's dead? Sam: Yeah. Blair: Why haven't we heard anything on the news? Sam: Well, Bo's keeping it as quiet as he can. But he called Nora, and she told me. Blair: Whoa. What killed Asa Buchanan? He seemed so indestructible. Sam: Yeah. Well, Nora said it might have had something to do with his heart medication. Apparently he wasn't taking it. Todd: Here, I got a copy of Blair’s signature. It seems that she's going to get the drugs for Max that are going to kill you. I got to go. Blair: Wait a minute, Todd. Sam just got here. Todd: Yeah, but with Asa and -- I got to be with Viki and Jess, you know, family in time of need and all that. Blair: But, Todd – ----------------------------------------- Sam: I'm so sorry about your baby, Blair. I know how much you loved him. Blair: I never got to even hold him, Sam. Sam: Did you tell Todd that he was the father? Blair: No. I couldn't. It would just make him too sad. Sam: I understand. But you are going to tell him before the wedding, right? ----------------------------------------- Viki: What do you mean, Natalie’s not your daughter? Why would you say that? Woman: Well, first of all, she's nothing like me. I mean, she's always got her face in a book, like she's not going to have to sling drinks or work the tables. Oh, yeah, right. Viki: She's trying to better herself. What's wrong with that? Woman: I'm just saying, look at me. I am the life of the party. Any party, anytime, anyplace. And Natalie -- well, she's a portable rainstorm. But you know her, so you must've noticed that. Viki: Well, I know that she's very -- focused. Woman: Focused? She's very serious, and she hates Atlantic City. I mean, come on, what's to hate? It's the city of lights. Viki: Right. Have you always lived here? Woman: Yeah. Why would I leave? But I banned that girl from ever coming close to the casinos with me because she's the opposite of a good luck charm. She's a human hex. Viki: I thought they never allowed minors into casinos. Woman: Well, honey, I’ve got local privileges. But if I couldn't dump her someplace for the night, why, I might as well come back here and throw quarters down the drain. Viki: So, where did you leave her when you did go out? Woman: In a coffee shop, waffle house, anywhere but here because she used to take my liquor and she used to drain it down the sink. Flush my cigarettes -- whole cartons, one by one. Viki: I see. Woman: Nuts having kids. You got any kids, Vik? Viki: Oh, yes. Yes, I do, Roxanne. Roxanne: Well, honey, call me Roxy. Any girls? Viki: One. Roxy: Well, then, you know exactly what I mean. ----------------------------------------- Asa: You are my granddaughter, Jessie. I'm your grandfather, no matter what. Jessica: It wasn't real -- any of it. ----------------------------------------- Max: You said there was no reason to suspect Asa died of anything but a heart attack. What's changed? Bo: Nothing, nothing. Forensics found no suggestion of foul play, so we're just waiting for his autopsy report. And until we get it, this is still a police investigation. Max: You know, Asa would be pretty ticked off with you, Bo, the way you're treating his wife. Bo: Oh, I don't know. I guess that depends on how Pa died, doesn't it? Gabrielle: Well, how much longer do we have to wait for this autopsy report? Bo: Any minute now. By the way, Max, I heard that you slept here last night. Max: Well, of course I slept here. I live here. Bo: Ah, yes, that's right. You live here. But, you know, some people would find it strange, considering the two of you and your complicated background. Or maybe I should say the three of you. [Doorbell rings] Gabrielle: I don't think I'm going to be alone for weeks to come. ----------------------------------------- Todd: Is the old man really dead? Gabrielle: Yes, I’m afraid so. Todd: You try and pin any of this on Blair, and I'll see to it that you join your dearly departed in hell. Do you understand? ----------------------------------------- Blair: I don't want Todd to feel the way I feel, Sam. And if I told Todd that the baby was his, it would make him so sad. Sam: Yeah, I understand. But he deserves to know that he had a son, Blair, even if that son is -- Blair: Dead. Our son is dead, Sam. And I never even got a chance to tell him how much I wanted him. Sam: He knows. And he gave you and Todd a huge gift. Blair: What? Sam: His little life brought you and Todd back together again. And now you have Starr back and you're going to get married. You may not have a son for whatever reason, but you have your family again. And I know that's what you and Todd want the most. Blair: Yeah, I guess you're right. If it weren't for that little -- Sam: You have to honor your son by telling Todd the truth. You don't want to start your family out on lies. Not if you want it to last. Blair: Yeah, but, Sam, what if I tell Todd and then he ends up taking Starr away from me again? Sam: If he really loves you, he won't do that. Blair: He loves me, Sam. He loves me. ----------------------------------------- Todd: So, did you really whack the old man? Gabrielle: Listen, Todd, there are policemen -- Todd: No, no, no, no, wait. Never mind. No, no, no. I'm sorry that I even asked. I don't care. The only thing that I care about is Blair. See, if her name comes up in any of this, I’m going to hold you personally responsible. Gabrielle: Meaning? Todd: Meaning that I’ll hang you up by your thumbs. You and, right next to you, your boyfriend. Gabrielle: Is this a threat? Todd: Yes. I'll see to it that you die in your bed -- in Statesville. Bo: What's going on out here? Gabrielle: Oh, Mr. Manning just came to pay his respects. Todd: Yes. I'm sorry. I'm really sorry that I wasn't there to see it. Max: He's not worth it, Bo. Todd: I'll see myself out. Hey, watch it! Natalie: You watch it, jerk! Todd: Oh, I am so losing my touch. Natalie: You're Todd Manning. Todd: Who are you? Natalie: You'll find out. Todd: Oh. I'm all a-twitter. Natalie: They'll all find out, soon. ----------------------------------------- Al: Heard about Asa, huh? Jessica: Yeah. I'm going to miss him so much. Al: Me, too. You know, I never had a grandfather and I only had half of a father, so he was like my second chance. Jessica: Yeah, he really liked you a lot. Al: Yeah, but he loved you so much. I was always really jealous of that when I was a kid growing up. I'm so sorry, Jessica. Must really feel like you're losing a piece of yourself. Jessica: Yeah. Yeah, I do. ----------------------------------------- Viki: Actually, my daughter has been the most precious person in my entire life since the moment she was -- since forever. Roxy: Hmm. Oh, that's so nice. But my Nat’s a lemon. Problem child -- 1, 2, 3, 4. Screaming her bloody head off. Viki: Yes, well, every child is different. Roxy: So, you didn't tell me how you know the little thief. Ugh. It's nothing but backwash. You want some? Viki: Oh, no, thank you. No, I'll pass. Roxy: Ok, suit yourself. ----------------------------------------- [Phone rings] Viki: Hello? Ben: How's it going? Viki: Oh, Ben, this is just horrible. And this woman is awful. She's much worse than I ever expected. Ben: You think she's dangerous? Viki: No, I don't think she's dangerous, but I certainly don't feel like telling her that she's Jessica’s, you know, real mother. Ben: Well, then, don't tell her yet. Just come back here and we'll figure out what to do next. Viki: Are you ok? Ben: I got some news, but it'll keep. Viki: You sure? I mean, you sound strange. Ben: I'm positive. Just get out of there and come on home, ok? Viki: I'll call you as soon as I’m done, ok? Bye. Roxy: So, how do you know the little pain-in-the-butt? ----------------------------------------- Keri: You know, we can turn this into a good thing. Antonio: Yeah, I don't see how. Keri: You get your work done fast. You get your credits. You get your promotion. Antonio: And I have something to look forward to when it's all over? Keri: Yeah. Antonio: Great. Then I want to start right now. Keri: Well, as appealing as that sounds, I'm late for class. Antonio: Oh. Keri: Later. Antonio: Ok. ----------------------------------------- Mollie: Hey, Jen, is it true? Did you win the campus modeling contest? Jen: Yeah, I did. Mollie: Either the judges were blind or pitiful is hot this year. Jen: Lay off, Mollie. Mollie: I just can't wait to see you mess this up, just like you messed up your romance with Cristian Vega. Antonio: Ok, that's enough. Leave her alone. Mollie: I've got better things to do. Antonio: You all right? Jen: Yeah, I'm fine. I didn't need your help. Antonio: Well, that girl was pretty nasty. Jen: I'm not your responsibility. Cris and I are over, and I’m getting on with my life. Antonio: Good. Jen: I don't need anything from you. I'm going to be a model. Antonio: I'm happy for you. Jen: I don't care what Mollie or Cristian or anybody else thinks. I'm going to do this. I'm going to make something of myself. ----------------------------------------- Keith: Now, now, now -- now, look, stupid, you said you were going to find Vega. You didn't. So here's what's going to happen. Shut up! All right? I'm going to find him myself, and I'll deal with him and you. And I have a few other loose ends to tie up. ----------------------------------------- Jessica: Everything else ok? I mean, besides Asa? Al: Yeah, just a girl thing. I did something impulsive and -- forget it. It's -- I'll get over it. Jessica: I don't mind listening. Al: What's going on with you is a lot more important. Are you going to be ok? Jessica: Honestly, I don't know if I'll ever be ok again. ----------------------------------------- Viki: Natalie used to work for me. She was my personal assistant. Roxy: Oh! Oh, so you fired her, she swiped something, and now you want it back? Viki: It's a good deal more complicated than that. You see, it started out that Natalie was friends with -- with my daughter. Well, that's not true because she pretended to be friends with my daughter. Roxy: Typical Nat. She's a snake. Viki: Anyway, it turns out that Natalie is -- Roxy: Selfish? Clumsy? Useless? All the above? Viki: No. No, Natalie is my -- Roxy: What? Natalie is your what? ----------------------------------------- Max: You know how Nigel is. He's hysterical. Bo: He was devoted to my father. Max: Exactly. And now he's got to go out there and find a job. He's freaking, all right? He needs someone to blame, so presto -- Gabrielle and I had it out for Asa. Gabrielle: Yes, I agree with Max on this one, Bo. You know how happy Asa and I were. You believe we're telling you the truth, don't you? [Phone rings] Bo: Buchanan. Yeah, right. Just hold on, hold on. The results of Asa’s autopsy report are in. ----------------------------------------- Todd: Where's Sam? Blair: He left. Todd: Where'd he go? Blair: I don't know. Home? Office? Grocery store? Todd: We've got to get him back here. Blair: Why? Todd: Why? Well, can't very well get married without a best man. Blair: What are you saying? Todd: Well, I'm saying I think we should get married right now. ----------------------------------------- >> Stay tuned for scenes from the next "One Life to Live." >> On the next "One Life to Live" -- Viki: Did you ever know anybody named Allison Perkins? Sam: What do you want to see me about? Nora: A date. Gabrielle: So, what did they say? Lindsay: Troy was asking me questions about how Nora lost her memory. Blair: There's just something that I want to tell you.
