R.J.: Lindsay? Well -- well, why the new look?

Lindsay: Do you want everyone to know we're together?

R.J.: We're just sharing a table. We're not breaking the law.

Lindsay: Not yet.

R.J.: Ok, look, lose the scarf, sister, all right? This might be a little blunt for your sculptor's mind, but try to hang in there, ok? You see, if one of us should happen to commit a minor misdemeanor or an infinitesimal infraction and someone somewhere should start to think that we're connected, you see, these very public meetings can be pointed to for our defense.

Lindsay: Ok. But I think it's a little more than a minor infraction.

R.J.: Yes, it is, now that I know the truth about Cristian Vega.

Jen: Maybe we should go back.

Cristian: Jen, I think you need to relax for a little bit, huh?

Jen: I can't relax. Not until we know that Al's ok.

Cristian: Ok, but you stay here. I'll go see how he's doing.

Troy: Another member of the Colin fan club, I see.

Cristian: I'm sorry. It's just that --

Troy: No, no, no. Believe me, it's ok. Actually, I'm starting to get used to it.

Jen: How's Al?

Troy: Much better. He's improving.

Jen: He is?

Troy: Well, it's going to take some time, but he made it through the trauma and the surgery, which is a very positive sign.

Cristian: That's great.

Jen: Thank God.

Troy: Thank you.

Jen: Me? Why? I didn't do anything.

Troy: Well, you got the paramedics to him. I don't know that he would have made it if he had been out there much longer.

Jen: You're the one that saved his life, though.

Troy: I'm just doing my job. You're the heroic one.

Jen: Thank you.

[Pager beeps]

Troy: That's the E.R. I have to go. Al's waking up, if you want to see him.

Jen: Thanks. You want to go see Al? What? Why are you looking at me like that?

Cristian: You're so amazing.

Jen: Why do you say that?

Cristian: What you did for Al.

Jen: I was so scared for him, you know, seeing him on the side of the road like that?

Cristian: I know.

Jen: I was on my way to pick you up for our weekend. God, Cris, I'm so sorry. I ruined everything.

Cristian: Hey, Jen, nothing's ruined.

Jen: We were supposed to leave.

Cristian: Well, we can still go. You know that Al's ok. You can do whatever you want.

Jen: I don't think I want to go. Not while Al's still in the hospital. What if something bad happened? Is that ok with you?

Gabrielle: Oh, my darling Al. You were in such a horrible motorcycle accident. You really scared your mom, you know? And Max, too. But you're going to be just fine.

Gabrielle: Hi. Al? You all right? Do I need to call a doctor? Are you all right?

Al: Leave.

Gabrielle: What, my darling?

Al: Just go.

Gabrielle: Go? What? Go where?

Al: Out.

Gabrielle: Al, you know how much I love you.

Al: Get out. Go be with -- go be with Max.

Max: I don't need any truth from you, Todd.

Todd: Really?

Max: Not unless you're going to go crawl back into the tar pit you came from.

Todd: No. Probably not today.

Max: Get the hell out of here. I have to take care of my son.

Todd: Right, you go do that because it makes Gabby all hot and heavy.

Max: What?

Todd: Oh, come on. You give the kid some blood, and all of a sudden she wants to jump your bones.

Max: Get the hell out of here.

Todd: Oh, don't worry. Don't bother explaining. I understand. But let me tell you something. Bedding Asa's wife -- it's not the brightest move you've ever made.

Max: What?

Todd: Oh, women -- they just can't be trusted.

Blair: Some men can't, either, but Max isn't one of those.

Max: What's going on?

Blair: Todd told me about your little fling with Gabrielle, and I don't care. I know you don't love her and there's nothing that she can do that can threaten us. Isn't that right, sweetheart?

Sam: Hey, Nora. Hi. Yeah, it's me. Listen, I hope you're having a great time. I really miss you, and I can't wait for you to get back. But I need you to give me a call as soon as you get this message, ok? It's about Troy. All right. Bye.

Troy: Why are you calling Nora about me?

Lindsay: So what happened to make you all of a sudden believe me over the man that's double-crossed you?

R.J.: Now, don't feel flattered. I -- I found evidence to support your story.

Lindsay: What are you going to do about it?

R.J.: Well, I'm going to do what needs to be done -- get rid of Cristian. I'll love Ziploc easy zipper.

Sam: I called Nora to warn her.

Troy: About me?

Sam: About the fact that you decided to move to Llanview, where she lives.

Troy: News flash for you, Sam -- a lot of people live here.

Sam: Yeah, but they weren't all kidnapped by a psychopathic, obsessive doctor.

Troy: That's true. And luckily for both Nora and me, I'm not one.

Sam: Right, right. You're just trying to make up for what your brother did by this grand gesture of a free clinic.

Troy: I wanted Colin's money to go to something useful.

Sam: You know what? You can fool that hospital administrator all you want, but you can't fool me.

Troy: Oh, that's too bad. I guess this means you and I won't be having coffee.

Sam: You told Nora you were leaving, and then you stayed.

Troy: People need medical care.

Sam: Right. You're just altruistic troy, out to save the world, right?

Troy: You know what? I don't really care what you believe.

Sam: Do you care what Nora believes? Because she's not going to buy this for a second.

Troy: I'm pretty sure Nora can make up her own mind about me.

Sam: She's not going to have to. You're going to be so busy with your clinic, there's no way you're going to be able to see her.

Troy: Is that some kind of a threat, Sam?

Sam: Just taking you at your word. I hope you take me at mine.

Troy: If you're so worried about Nora being afraid of me, then why did you wait till now to tell her I'm still around?

Sam: Well, that's simple. I wanted her to enjoy her vacation.

Lindsay: I just want Cristian out of my life.

R.J.: Who asked what you want?

Lindsay: He doesn't deserve my daughter. He took her away from me and I want her back, that's all. I want my daughter back.

Nora: Where did she run to this time, Lindsay?

Lindsay: Oh. What are you doing here?

Nora: I mean, not that I blame her. Desperate times do require desperate measures.

Lindsay: I thought that you went to see your family in Chicago. What happened? Did they get tired of your self-righteousness?

R.J.: Ok, Lindsay.

Lindsay: I told you we should have gone somewhere more private.

R.J.: You'll have to forgive Lindsay. You see, she's had a spot of bad luck. Sam finally cut her loose.

Nora: Oh. Sam did? What in the world did you do?

Lindsay: Shut up, Nora.

R.J.: Well, if that weren't enough, Willie boy needed space so badly that he -- well, he moved to a different time zone.

Nora: Oh, this gets better and better.

Lindsay: That had nothing to do with me.

Nora: So what continent did Jen run off to this time?

R.J.: Oh, no. See, Jen is still here, but she's still with Cristian Vega. And believe it or not, Lindsay wants to break them up so badly, that she puts cameras all over the boy's apartment and then puts his life all over the Internet.

Nora: You did what?

Lindsay: I hate you.

Cristian: Not that I didn't want to take you somewhere where I could have you all to myself, but I had a feeling you'd want to stay here.

Jen: I'm sorry.

Cristian: Don't be.

Jen: You went through all this trouble.

Cristian: It wasn't any trouble, Jen.

Jen: You spent so much money.

Cristian: Jen, I don't care about money. I care about you. And I know you wouldn't be able to have a good time knowing that Al's here at the hospital, so --

Jen: Are you sure you're ok with it?

Cristian: Why wouldn't I be?

Jen: I don't know. I thought you might be jealous of Al.

Cristian: Is there any reason I should be?

Jen: No.

Cristian: I didn't think so.

Jen: Do you know how much I love you?

Cristian: I have an idea. You know, you can show me when we go away together.

Jen: You still want to go?

Cristian: Whenever you're ready. But right now we need to be right here, and I need to be right here with you. What's that for?

Jen: You're the one who's amazing.

Gabrielle: Al, my darling, I know how upset you are from seeing us at the lodge, but, sweetheart, we can talk about all of that when you're better, stronger. Ok?

Al: No.

Gabrielle: Al, please. I love you.

Al: Just leave.

Gabrielle: All right, darling. Shh. I'll leave, I'll leave. I'm going to send Max in, ok?

Al: No. You lied to me.

Gabrielle: No, my darling. Listen to me. Listen to me. You lost so much blood. He gave you his blood. He saved your life.

Max: What the hell did you do?

Todd: Me?

Max: Whatever goes on between me and Gabrielle is our business.

Blair: Max, I told him that, and I don't care.

Max: You don't?

Blair: No. It was just a fling. That's -- that's all it was.

Max: Yeah, that's all it was.

Blair: Yes. So, who cares? I love you, and there is nothing that you can do that's going to change that. Nothing at all.

Max: I'm glad to hear that.

Blair: We're having a baby together, Max. What we both need to be worrying about is this little girl or boy that's inside me. That's all that really matters.

Todd: Max, I hope Gabrielle gives you exactly what you deserve.

Blair: Oh, Gabrielle isn't going to give Max anything because she's out of his life, Todd.

Todd: Fine. You just keep telling yourself that, Blair. Have a nice life with Max's baby.

Blair: Max, I'm sorry that you had to deal with Todd just now.

Max: Should never have to deal with Todd.

Blair: Yeah, I know. I mean, you know, with Al's accident and everything --

Max: He's getting better.

Blair: You know, when I heard, I was going to call Renee and cancel the wedding, but I figured since Al's getting --

Max: Go ahead.

Blair: What?

Max: I can't marry you right now.

Blair: I thought you said Al was getting better.

Max: Well, he is, but he's still hurt pretty badly, and I need to stick around here, do whatever I can to get him out of this hospital and back on his feet.

Blair: Yeah.

Max: I still care about you and the baby.

Blair: But you -- you can't marry me, right?

Max: Right now Al has to be my priority.

Blair: Well, how long do you think it'll be before Al is better?

Max: I don't know. They really haven't given me much information yet.

Blair: Ok.

Max: Look -- I'll call you when I can.

Blair: Yeah. You do that, Max.

R.J.: Hate me? Oh, wish that were true. You see, Lindsay hates me so much, she simply must have dinner with me, and then she tortures me with all of her problems. Oh, you see, she's dead to her daughter now, too.

Nora: Jen's disowned you?

Lindsay: You know how it is with a mother and a daughter. I mean, you did see Rachel when you were in Chicago, didn't you?

Nora: Yes, I did, but I didn't put cameras all over her boyfriend's apartment. Should I go back?

Lindsay: There is no proof that I did that. She believed it anyway.

Nora: Oh, she's a smart girl. I'm liking her more and more.

Lindsay: She believed Cristian, even though he cheated on her and I can prove it.

Nora: The cameras?

Lindsay: He turned her against me.

Nora: You were trying to turn her against him.

Lindsay: I was trying to save my daughter from being hurt. If you had a heart, you'd understand that.

Nora: You know what, Lindsay? You're right. I must not have a heart because, actually, I'm glad that you're finally suffering for one of the awful things that you have done.

Sam: Hey. How's Al doing?

Cristian: He's going to be ok.

Sam: Yeah?

Cristian: Yeah.

Sam: That's great. Where's Jen?

Cristian: She's in with him. Dr. MacIver said she could go see him.

Sam: You mean Troy?

Cristian: Yeah. Isn't it weird, him being a doctor, too?

Sam: Tell me about it.

Cristian: You know what? He was pretty cool. I mean, he was nice to Jen. Told her that she saved Al's life.

Sam: Really?

Cristian: Not that I won't watch out for her, though.

Sam: Thank you.

Cristian: And who knows? He might not be as bad as Colin.

Sam: Yeah. Maybe. Whoa. Hold on. Blair? Are you all right?

Blair: What am I going to do, Sam?

Sam: About what?

Blair: About the baby!

Sam: Baby? Come here, sit down, and calm down.

Blair: No, I'm not going to calm down. I've got to marry Max!

Sam: Well, I thought that's what you were doing.

Blair: Yeah, but now we have to wait until after Al's all better.

Sam: Well, that should be pretty soon.

Blair: But not soon enough. Everybody's expecting me to have this baby before then.

Sam: Before Al gets well?

Blair: Come on! I'm pretending to be eight months pregnant, and I'm only six.

Sam: I know. There's still plenty of time.

Blair: What if Todd finds out? What if Todd finds out the truth, Sam?

Sam: I told you, Blair, I wish you had told him the truth.

Blair: You know what? I've got to get out of here!

Sam: No, no, no, no --

Blair: I've got to get out of here!

Sam: Blair, tell him the truth! If you do, you can both have what you want. You could be together.

Blair: No. If Todd finds out the truth, he'll get exactly what he wants, and that's to take this baby away from me, just like he took Starr away from me! Oh, God!

Sam: Blair?

Troy: What's the problem?

Troy: Ok, come on. Come sit down.

Blair: Right.

Troy: What did the pain feel like?

Blair: It felt like a contraction.

Troy: How far along are you?

Blair: Uh --

Troy: You can just estimate.

Sam: Go ahead, Blair, tell him for the baby's sake.

Blair: I'm -- I'm around six months.

Troy: Are you at risk for premature labor?

Blair: My little girl, Starr, was born prematurely, but I just had an appointment with Dr. Conklin and she said that I was ok.

Troy: I think she's right. I suspect Braxton Hicks, which is just false contractions.

Blair: So the baby's going to be ok?

Troy: Heartbeat's fine. I am going to get Dr. Conklin down here just to be sure. She may want to do an ultrasound. Now, I'm assuming that she knows whatever it is about the due date that you didn't want to tell me?

Blair: Well -- it was just the due date that I didn't want you to know, but if Sam trusts you, I guess it's ok.

Troy: Sam knows that I'm a doctor. Whatever my patients tell me is confidential. Now, let's just take care of you and that baby, ok? I'll be right back.

Jen: I don't know if this makes any difference, but your mom was really worried about you.

Al: It was her fault.

Jen: Why? What did she do?

Al: She lied to me. I had to get away.

Jen: You must have tried to get away pretty fast. You were really messed up when I found you.

Al: You --

Jen: I thought you knew, yeah. I was -- I was driving to meet Cristian. I saw you lying on the road unconscious.

Al: You found me?

Jen: You were hurt so bad. You weren't even wearing your helmet.

Al: Yeah, I know.

Jen: I called 911, and I told you everything's going to be all right, even though I knew you couldn't hear me.

Al: Maybe -- maybe I could.

Jen: Why don't you get some sleep. You look tired. Ok? Things will look better when you wake up. Just when you think everything can only get worse, that's when it always starts to get better.

Lindsay: Ok, Nora, you want to gloat? Is that what you want?

Nora: Yes, I think I do.

Lindsay: Well, here we go. I've lost everyone who ever meant anything to me, including my family. I don't have a friend left in the world. In fact, R.J. is the last person talking to me.

R.J.: It's a dubious honor, but I feel needed.

Lindsay: So you got everything you want. Thank you very much.

Nora: Thank -- thank me? Oh. Oh, right. Ok. Will, Sam, and anyone else sacred to you who's not speaking to you now, that was my fault. We've discussed that already. My fault, right. But now you're going to try and blame me for Jen disowning you?

Lindsay: She chose Cristian over me.

Nora: You put cameras all over his apartment.

Lindsay: She wouldn't even be with him if you had just confessed to Colin's murder.

Nora: What?

Lindsay: You know how hard that trial was on her, and she turned to Cristian. She invited him into her life because of you.

Nora: She turned to Cristian because she couldn't turn to her own mother -- not that I blame her.

Lindsay: Well, at least I didn't murder anyone.

Nora: No, you just torture them until they wish they were dead.

R.J.: Oh, Nora. Welcome back.

Nora: Oh, thank you. It's really good to be back, actually. Yes, the Colin murder thing did haunt me for a while, and Troy being in town. But now that he's gone, I'm feeling back on top of my game. Better watch out, Lindsay. Excuse me.

Lindsay: Except Troy isn't gone.

R.J.: He's not?

Lindsay: Nope.

R.J.: So why didn't you tell Nora?

Lindsay: Because I didn't want to ruin the surprise.

Sam: How long does it take?

Troy: Shouldn't be much longer.

Sam: How is she?

Josie: Dr. MacIver was right on the money. It was a Braxton Hicks contraction.

Sam: So she's fine?

Josie: Both Blair and the baby are doing well. But it's nice to know that I have another pair of eyes looking out for my patients. Good call, Doctor.

Troy: Well, it was a pretty easy call.

Josie: Well, good. It won't be hard for me to return the favor.

Troy: Thanks.

Blair: Thank you again, Dr. Conklin.

Troy: I'm glad you're ok.

Blair: Yeah, I was really scared. I don't know what I would have done if you hadn't been here, so thank you.

Troy: Oh, please. All in a day's work. You take care.

Sam: Come on, let me take you home.

Blair: Um -- no, Sam. I'm going to go alone, ok?

Sam: Ok. But you're ok about not marrying Max, right? I mean, come on, Blair, face it -- you don't love him.

Blair: I've learned my lesson, Sam, and I'm not going to let anything upset the baby. I promise.

Sam: Good.

Blair: And I'm also not going to worry about it if Todd finds out about the truth.

Sam: You're going to tell him he's the father?

Blair: I'm going to do what I need to do.

Sam: Good luck.

Blair: Thanks.

Todd: Where are you going?

Lindsay: In regards to Cristian, I mean, whatever you do, you know, you're going to have to keep it quiet.

R.J.: Oh. Oh, so then I should cancel that billboard.

Lindsay: I mean it, R.J. Nora just saw us together. Now whatever you do, she's going to know I was a part of it.

R.J.: No, no, but you're not. You're not a part of this anymore.

Lindsay: What do you mean?

R.J.: Cristian spied on me, so I will make sure that he pays for it.

Lindsay: What are you going to do to him?

R.J.: Look, don't you worry, ok? You will still get what you want.

Lindsay: I mean it, R.J. I don't want him to get hurt.

R.J.: I heard you the first time.

Lindsay: I just want him to leave town.

R.J.: All you need to know is that Cristian Vega will definitely be out of our lives.

Max: Excuse me, I need to see Al.

Jen: I better go.

Al: Jen? Thanks.

Jen: We all just wanted to make sure you got better.

Max: Listen, I -- I know you don't want to see me.

Al: You're right.

Max: That's ok, you go ahead and hate me all you want.

Al: Thanks.

Max: But don't hate your mother. She loves you, Al. She loves you more than anyone in this world. She went to prison for you.

Al: She lied.

Max: Oh, come on. Cut her some slack. She's human. She's trying so hard to give you a better life. That's why she married Asa. Being Mrs. Asa Buchanan meant that she could -- she could take care of you, and taking care of you is everything to her. She can deal with Asa as long as you're happy. She can deal with anything as long as you love her.

Blair: Since when do you care where I'm going?

Todd: I don't care where you're going. I'm just a little surprised because, you know, Max's kid is in there being roadkill.

Blair: Al's going to be all right.

Todd: So, where were you going?

Blair: Doesn't matter. I'm just leaving.

Todd: You're leaving? What, you're going to leave Max to plan the wedding all by himself?

Blair: No, Todd.

Todd: Suppose it makes sense. I mean, if I were marrying you, I wouldn't want anything to do with it, either.

Blair: No.

Todd: So, what are you going to give him? Cigarettes? Blindfold?

Blair: You know, for your information, Max and I have called off the wedding.

Todd: No. Oh, don't say that. I just got a brand-new suit.

Blair: Just don't.

Todd: You're destroying my faith in true love --

Blair: Don't, Todd --

Todd: And the triumph of good over evil.

Blair: Why don't you shut up, all right? You got what you wanted. You won. You got everything you wanted.

Todd: What?

Blair: And you know what? You don't have to go around hating Max anymore. You don't have to speak to my baby like it's some creature from outer space.

Todd: Oh, come on, Blair.

Blair: And you know what? You don't have to plan anymore ways to torture me because you're not going to see me again.

Todd: What are you talking about?

Blair: That's right, Todd, I'm leaving. I am leaving this stinking town, and I don't care if I see you or Max ever again.

Todd: But what about Starr?

Blair: Oh -- gee, what about Starr? You never let me see her. I mean, even though you know how much I love her and how much she loves me.

Todd: Look, you know, I sent her to boarding school. It's not like she's not coming back.

Blair: You're bringing Starr back?

Todd: Yeah, sure, when she's 18.

Blair: I am going to get my little girl back.

Todd: Yeah, like I said, in 11 years.

Blair: All right, Todd. You want your little girl to grow up without a mother? Well, this baby's going to grow up without a father.

Todd: What baby would want Max for a father?

Blair: This is my baby. All mine. You won. You beat me. You're never, ever going to see this baby or me ever again.

R.J.: Come on in.

R.J.: Now, Keith, right? I mean, you understand this meeting never happened?

Keith: Of course. What would you like done?

R.J.: Well, now, I understand that you are skilled at convincing people to relocate?

Keith: If the price is right, I'll book the movers.

R.J.: Then I want you to put an ocean between me and this man.

Cristian: Ok. Ok, thanks.

Jen: Who were you calling?

Cristian: No one. Just the hotel.

Jen: To cancel our reservations.

Cristian: Yeah.

Jen: I'm sorry.

Cristian: Hey, it's ok.

Jen: Can you get your deposit back?

Cristian: Nope.

Jen: I'll ask my dad. He'll give you the money back.

Cristian: Come on, Jen, you don't have to do that. At least not if you think Al will be ok by next weekend.

Jen: Yeah, he's actually already doing a lot better.

Cristian: So he probably won't mind if you left for a few days, would he?

Jen: Probably not. Why?

Cristian: I changed the reservations for next weekend.

Jen: You did?

Cristian: Yeah.

Jen: But I thought that place was booked solid for weeks.

Cristian: Not this weekend.

Jen: So we still get to go away?

Cristian: Yes, we do. One weekend together and alone.

Jen: Oh, I can't wait.

R.J.: Yeah, just get him to go to some country where there's a war on or something. I just want him gone. Do you understand?

Keith: Yeah. Might be very nice if he were gone.

Gabrielle: I heard what Max said about how much I love you. And I want you to forgive him.

Max: Gabrielle --

Gabrielle: Max, it's all right. Max deserves your love. I know what we've been through together, and I know what I've told you about him in the past, and that was wrong of me. But no matter what, he loves you and he is your father.

Al: He isn't.

Gabrielle: Yes. Yes, he is. He would do anything for you. He gave you his blood. No matter what, he would give up his life for you.

Al: You wouldn't.

Gabrielle: Of course I would. Of course I would. But Max is a bit different. No matter what, if he never got love from you in return, he would still give everything he has without expecting anything from you. I have been so lucky to have your love all these years, and he hasn't. But it doesn't matter if he ever gets your love because he would give anything up for you in a heartbeat. And that is true love.

Al: Mom -- you're falling in love with him again.

Nora: Ok, I'm going to start, and then you can pump yourself, all right?

Matthew: Ok.

Nora: Ok. Guess what I did today.

Matthew: What?

Nora: I called Daddy and I told him to meet us in the park.

Matthew: Yay! I get to see Daddy!

Nora: Yes, we do. We get to see Daddy.

Sam: Did Blair leave? Where is she?

Todd: She's gone.

Sam: Gone? Gone where?

Todd: Somewhere where she can't be found.

Sam: She said that?

Todd: She said I won.

Sam: Ok, she couldn't have gotten far. You have to go find her, Todd.

Todd: No, she doesn't want to be found, Sam.

Sam: Todd, you have to go find Blair. You have to find her before it's too late.

Blair's voice: "Dear Todd, by the time you read this, I'll be gone. I used to think we were meant to be together and no matter what happened, we could always find our way back to each other. You used to love me, and, heaven help me, I still love you."

Todd: No. It's already too late, Sam. She's having Max's kid.

Sam: Just -- just find her.

Todd: She said she doesn't want anything to do with me. She doesn't even want anything to do with Max. She's going to raise this kid all by herself.

Sam: No, no, no. That's not true. She wants to be with you, Todd.

Todd: What do you mean?

Blair's voice: "But I wanted you to love this baby as much as I do. And I should have told you when I found out the truth, but I didn't. Now it's gone on too far. We've gone too far to find our way back again."

Sam: I can't tell you.

Todd: Oh. Thanks a lot, Sam. You're a great big help.

Sam: She told me as her lawyer. I'm sorry, but she will tell you, too. You just have to ask her. Go find her, tell her that you love her -- you know you do -- and then ask her to tell you what she told me.

Blair's voice: "I don't think that there's anything left between us except one thing -- this baby. It's not Max's. It's your baby, Todd. It's ours."

Sam: Go find her. I've done all I can do. The rest is up to you, Todd.

Blair's voice: "I've lost Starr for now, but I will always have our child. I already love him or her so much, and I'm going to take such good care of this baby, Todd, because he or she will get all the love that was meant for you."

Blair: "Always, Blair."
