Episode #14278 ~ Robert loses his cool. Sonny and Mike bond over family. Michael underestimates the situation.
Provided By Suzanne
(This still needs extensive editing)Hey. Hey.
[ Sighs ] Did you see danny? Yeah, I saw -- I saw him on my way in. Him and leo and annabelle the second are -- are building a fort on the back lawn. Oh, yeah? Well, I hope they're not destroying too many flower beds. Well, you know, monica says she doesn't care, that the gardeners can just plant flowers anytime. Just consoles her to see danny and leo living their lives.
[ Sighs ] I bet. After oscar, it must be nice to see that life still goes on.
[ Sighs ] How are you holding up after last night? I was able to cover for you. Shiloh has no idea that you're the one who kicked in his door and knocked him out.
[ Silverware clattering ] Good morning. How'd you sleep? Uh, really great, actually. Good. You look refreshed. I am. Wait. You cooked? Oh, god, no. Your sister did. She made you a frittata. It's got kale in it and something else that's healthy. Of course there is. Alright. You don't want that, I can try and make you something else, but I don't want to scare you now that you've come back. That was a joke. Yeah, I know it was. Apparently, a bad one. Well, I've heard worse. Alright. I'll work on it, then. Anything to make you more comfortable. Actually, I was, uh, meaning to talk to you about that. How much freedom will I have while I'm living here? You sure I can't get you something to eat? Mm. No, I'm just... not very hungry. Well, I'm just trying to take care of you. I know you are. And your being with me last night... made things a lot easier. I don't know how I would have done it alone. The apartment is just so... it's empty without him. I can't imagine what you're feeling right now. I hope you never do. Well, listen, if you ever need something, you let me know. I've got you, okay?
[ Sniffles ] I know you do. Can I top off your coffee? Mm. No. I actually need to get going. Well, hopefully, not back to the hospital. No. [ Chuckles ] I'm still on a leave of absence. Good. So, where you off to? I owe someone a visit. You're up early.
[ Sighing ] Yeah. I, uh...made coffee. You alright? I'm just feeling anxious. It's -- it's really hard to talk about wiley. You know, I've kept the truth to myself for so long, it felt strange saying it out loud last night. Do you regret telling me? No. I know I can trust you. It's shiloh I don't trust. What if he realizes wiley's his son? Shiloh: And...release.
[ Exhales deeply ] There you go.
[ Groans ] Feel better? Much. My heart's beating at a normal human rate again.
[ Chuckles ] Thanks. Uh, I needed that. It was my pleasure. But, you know, brad, you didn't need to come here or see me to do these relaxation exercises. I mean, you can do them anytime you feel anxious. Yeah. Uh, sorry if I, uh, caught you off guard when I dropped in this morning. No, no. Yeah, I've just been climbing the walls ever since wiley's birth mother started making inroads. So, um, why are you guys taking me out? A-are we -- are we celebrating something, or... well, we, uh -- the family just got some pretty great news recently. Oh. Oh, right, right. Right. Michael's about to become a father.
[ Laughs ] Triple-shot americano. That is very thoughtful. Right? [ Laughs ] It's just a token of thanks. You were really wonderful last night. Thanks. I mean, you -- you make it easy. Well [Chuckles] I didn't mean that. But -- but, yes. Oh! Uh, n-no. I meant the way you talked me down. Really, thank you.
[ Sighs ] I think acceptance is -- is -- is kind of freeing.
[ Sighs ] Peter is probably not my son. You know, I-I can't prove it one way or the other, but... I just have to... leave it there. Do you know what I mean? And just move on and -- and get on with living. That sounds like a plan.
[ Door opens ] Ah! Figured I'd find you here. Oh, hi. Oh, my goodness.
[ Door closes ] Isn't it too early for bureau affairs? Please. This is something of a more personal nature. Uh... okay. Would you like some privacy? I can -- no. Ca-- we're not gonna throw you out of your office. Well -- no, come on. Whatever he has to say, he can say it front of you. Go ahead. I think I found a way to determine if alex is peter's mother.
I called frisco, had him, uh, do me a favor. He ran down a character called dimitri marick. Uh... name ring a bell? Yes, of course. It's alex's ex-husband. Yeah, I haven't heard that name in a while. Well, apparently, it was a pretty tumultuous divorce. But he has a lot of her, uh, records stashed away there -- travel plans, receipts, uh, schedules, stuff like that. Mm-hmm. Now, I figured if we cross-referenced a lot of her records with what we have here, we can determine where she was at the time that peter was -- okay, yeah, you know. Thank dimitri for his offer, but I-I'm not interested. Why not? Because I'm not. I just -- I'm sorry you wasted your time. I-I just -- I don't want to pursue this. Just leave alex's past alone, would you? Is that clear? I, uh -- I think -- I think you -- you might be confused. Are you -- are you -- are you thinking about jonah? Remember, uh, grandpa, he didn't -- he didn't -- he didn't make it. Aw, hell, yeah. I'm sorry, michael. Hey, no. Hey...it's okay. It's okay. I don't know what I was thinking. Dad, you're just confused. That's all.
[ Sighs ] You were close, though. Um, uh... my mom and dad are -- are having a baby. Oh, yeah, ri-- yeah, yeah, right. Yeah, yeah, I g-- I'm gonna get to be a-a-a grandfather again.
[ Chuckling ] Right? How lucky am I? Alright, uh, you know, I'm -- I'm gonna take off. I-I want to see kristina before I have to go to work. Mm-hmm. Um... it was good seeing you, grandpa. Yeah. Good to see you, michael. Why is he going to see kristina? Well, you know, kristina's been going through a rough time. That's why she hasn't been by to, you know, see you lately. Is she... doing better now? She's getting better all the time, dad. How about we just take this day by day? How does that sound? Okay. Come on, mom. I know you probably have a whole list of rules for me to follow. No, I don'T. Okay, just one. I-I want to put a moat out there, and that way, we can just stay here all day. I know that won't help. Well, a moat would... be nice. Yeah, right there. Maybe some koi. Mm-hmm. I don't want you to feel like a prisoner. Dr. Byrne said that your father and i can't make decisions for you, and there's a reason for that. Right. Because I have to trust you to make the right ones, and I do. Thank you. With one caveat. Hmm.
[ Sighs ] As long as you're here, you can't see shiloh or anyone from dod. That's fair. Mom. No, no. Next time you can swat me away, but right now, I just need to do this because I love you so much. I know. I love you, too. I can't wait till this shiloh is out of our lives. Signing is another manifestation of your commitment. I am committed.
[ Pen scribbles ]
[ Inhales sharply ] Yeah. That makes two of us. Okay. You're released. Go eat your frittata.
[ Sighs ]
[ Knock on door ] Uh, excuse me. Hey, come on in. Thanks. [ Sighs ] Kim? Hey. Hey.
[ Lock clicks ] Hey, I'm -- I-I heard about...oscar. I'm -- I'm -- I'm -- I'm so sorry for your loss. Thank you. Yeah. He was a great kid.
[ Laughs ] He was.
[ Chuckles ] Yeah. Thanks. I'll catch you later, okay? Yeah. I'm good. I'm good.
[ Sighs ] Can't even imagine what's going through her head right now, you know? Anything like that ever happened to wiley, I don'T... I don't think I could go on. Yeah. So, uh, can I get you a coffee or something? Uh, yeah, yeah, please. Uh-huh. No cream, one sugar, right? Yep. [ Sighs ] You know, I was, uh, surprised to get your message last night. Why would you want to talk to me about your family?
[ Sighs ] Something's going on with brad. So, I didn't know wiley's birth mother was in the picture.
[ Chuckling ] No. She's not supposed to be. I mean, she's the one who insisted on a closed adoption. Really? Well, how about the father? Uh, the father was never in the picture. I'm not sure the mother even knew who he was, you know? But she picked lucas and me as the adoptive parents. Yeah. And she chose the terms, and now, all of a sudden, she wants to change them. Really? In what way? Well, she lives here in port charles. And she just keeps finding ways to insert herself into wiley's life. You know, "bumping" into us. I-it's making me really uncomfortable. Yeah, well, you know, it's, uh -- it's not uncommon. Wiley's situation is actually very familiar with a lot of members of dawn of day. How so? Well, you see, we have two families. We have our biological family. Right, the -- the one like wiley's birth mother. Exactly, and then we have our, uh -- our chosen family. Our dod family. And it's up to us to choose which one that works best for us. But in wiley's case, he's too young, so you have to make the decision for him -- you and lucas. Yeah, I just want the birth mother to stay away from wiley for good, but that just doesn't seem to be, you know, getting through to her. Huh, well, you know what? Why don't you, uh -- why don't you bring her to me? Maybe I can help.
Hey, michael. Hey, hey. Is, uh, now a good time? I wanted to see how kristina's doing. Come in and see for yourself. Kristina, you have a visitor! Michael! Hey. Hey. So, how you feeling?
[ Sighs ] I'm good. You don't have to worry anymore. Ah, well, I can't help it. That's what older siblings do. Well, I just hope you know how much I appreciate you doing everything for me. You know, our family may be a little dysfunctional and borderline crazy, but I am so lucky for all of you. Mom, are you... crying? No, I'm not crying. I'm -- just... it's sweet to watch you two together. Well, I meant every word. I-I'm sorry that I have to bail so soon, but I -- I've really got to go. You're leaving? Yeah, I have to go to charlie's to apologize to julian and beg for my job back. Oh! No, you don'T. I'll call him. Trust me, he'll listen. Well, thanks, but this is something I need to do for myself. Thank you for coming by to see me. Mm. And, uh, I'll see you in a bit. Okay. You call me if you need anything.
[ Door closes ] Oh, my god. I just let her leave. Please tell me that wasn't a mistake. Look, we, uh -- well, we have to start trusting her to make her own decisions, right? Right. I have to believe that she saw the truth about shiloh and dod, and -- and that's a lot due to your friend willow. Mm. How could shiloh find out about wiley? Brad's getting deeper into dawn of day all the time. I mean, he's taking parenting classes. I mean, for all I know, shiloh's already held wiley in his arms. Even if he did, there's no reason he'd suspect that he's wiley's birth father.
[ Sighs ] I know. I know. I'm -- I'm being paranoid. Okay, the adoption? It's final. Brad and lucas are wiley's parents. Signed, sealed, and delivered. Maybe not. What do you mean? Shiloh never agreed to the adoption. He doesn't even know wiley exists. If he finds out, he could sue for custody -- and he'd probably win. Something's been bothering brad for months now. He goes to bed after me. He wakes up before me. I don't know how much sleep he's getting, if any at all. Something's clearly stressing him out. So, what do you think it is?
[ Sighs ] Why don't you tell me? Excuse me? I know he comes in here all the time. Sometimes with wiley. Sometimes without. I know you two have gotten close. Well, okay, t-that's a bit of an exaggeration. On valentine's day, you guys spent more time talking to each other than you did your own dates. So, that means I automatically know what's bugging him? I think you something, and you need to tell me. If brad's not being open with me, it makes me think our marriage isn't as strong as I thought it was. It's not just about us anymore. We got a little boy to consider, and I'm not gonna let wiley get hurt. Lucas, I really want to help, but I don't know -- you keep saying you've changed. Now is your chance to prove it. Tell me what the hell is going on with brad. So, you think I should invite wiley's birth mother to dod? Of course. Actually, from everything you've told me, it sounds like she could benefit from my teachings. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, especially if you teach her the art of backing the hell off.
[ Laughs ] Admittedly, I am a little biased. I believe that most conflicts can be resolved with mediation at the center. But just remember, anyone and everyone here is welcome. Well, thanks. You've given me a lot to consider.
[ Knock on door ] Oh, excuse me. Hey. Dr. Nero, please. Hi. Hey. Hey. Hey. Uh, brad, do you mind if, uh... we have a little privacy? Oh, yeah, yeah. Absolutely. Thank you. I am... so sorry for your loss. Thanks.
[ Door closes ] I'm glad you came. I just wanted to thank you, uh, for that photo that you gave drew of us with oscar. Hmm. It, uh -- it came a time when I needed it. And I appreciate you sending over all the e-mails from his friends that he made here. He -- they had lovely things to say about him. Of course. I mean, he made quite an impression here at the house. Yeah. He had a way of doing that.
[ Chuckles ] You know, dr. Nero, I-I don't know what your spiritual beliefs are, but I urge you to think of oscar's passing as -- as just a return home. He's not lost or gone. He's just transitioning to a different plane of existence. Oh, um... I didn't come here to seek spiritual guidance. I came because I wanted to talk about my son. Shiloh knows somebody's onto him. I found kristina's file and her pledge and there was nothing in it but blank pages. Okay, well, then it's a good thing I didn't leave with you last night.
[ Sighs ] Yeah. H-how did you cover? Um, I told shiloh that some crazed father came in, and he was yelling about something that shiloh did to his daughter. And I-I-it worked. My con is still in play. Okay, well, you don't have to worry anymore. You're off the hook.
I think I must have upset michael. You know, bringing up jonah. No, michael understood that it was a mistake, dad. You think? I-I just feel like a real jackass. Dad... he knows you didn't mean any harm. It's a hell of a thing, outliving your child, you know? Just shouldn't be that way. No, it shouldn'T. When your sister died... I mean, it's the worst feeling in the world, you know? I... the only thing that got me through it was -- was the memories, you know? The little mental snapshots of -- of her as a little girl... as a young woman. Will you promise me something? Promise me when... you know, when I can't remember courtney anymore... ...you'll remember her for me. I will, dad. I promise. Julian: You know, I want to help you, but from the moment you walked in here, all you've done is accuse me of lying. Why would I do that after how far we've come? I still don't trust you. Oh, man.
[ Sighs ] Look, I don't want to rehash our problems. But that's exactly what you've done.
[ Sighs ] That's what you're doing right now. And honestly, I don't know where it's coming from. Now, look. I respect the boundaries that you set. And it kills me that I can't spend any amount of time with my grandson. But I honor your decision. Now, as far as brad goes, well, you know what? When he comes in here, that's on him. I have nothing to do with that. I'm sorry. Sorry. You're right. I'm just at a loss. When he comes in here, is he... does he talk about wiley? Yeah, of course. It's pretty obvious that fatherhood has him stressed out. Well, why doesn't he come to me, his husband, and -- and -- and -- and talk to me? Lucas, who knows, man? M-maybe he just doesn't want to disappoint you. Well...maybe. I don't know. How do I fix that, though? It just seems like right now, he's -- he's -- he's talking to everybody else except for me. Well, who else is he -- is he talking to? Dawn of day. Honestly, I'd rather he come in here and talk your ear off than waste his time with those people. Wait a sec-- dawn of day? Aren't they just a little self-help group? Some people say they're a cult. Oscar and I, we, uh -- we moved into his grandmother's house during his last days. Ah. I'm -- I'm so glad you had that support. Are you, uh -- are you still there? No, no. Um, I was welcome to stay, but I just -- I felt I needed to... needed to get back to my apartment. That must've been very challenging for you. Yeah, I-it was, but I-I walked up to the door and there were these... flowers and gifts and these letters and notes and photos of him. Somebody -- they -- lots of people left, like, a shrine. It was a beautiful tribute to my son at the door, so... it makes me feel good that I know that he will continue to live in their memories. You know, um... oscar never told me... about his time here. So I thought that maybe... I don't know, maybe you could share something? Ah. You know, I, um... a memory just popped into my head. Um, do you, um -- do you know daisy? Did oscar ever introduce you to her? Yeah, well, I met her at t-the hospital once. She seemed like a very sweet girl. Oh, she's so sweet. Yeah. And she's a wonderful, wonderful cook. And, uh... one night, she prepared this beautiful communal meal for the entire house. And -- and after we had finished and we were stuffed -- like, uncomfortably stuffed -- we were, uh -- we were all sitting around and we were talking about this -- this canned food drive that we were gonna throw for the homeless next week. And, um -- and oscar [Chuckles] -- Oscar chimed in, and he couldn't understand why the homeless had to eat canned food when we had just finished this -- this beautiful meal. So I was so taken by what he had said -- by that sentiment -- that I changed it immediately. And we had this big, beautiful potluck for the homeless...
[ Chuckles ] ...Instead of a canned food drive. And it was -- it was such a beautiful evening. It was all because your boy.
[ Chuckles ] Well, that sounds like oscar. Um... you know, um... oscar was really special. And, uh, it made perfect sense when I found out that he was drew's son. Well, you know, he actually didn't really know his father... hmm. ...Until a couple years ago. It was -- it was a complete coincidence that we wound up in the same city with drew. I don't believe in coincidences. Have you, uh -- have you talked to your mom? No. Why? Okay. Because alexis and sonny were there when kristina had her breakthrough. Alright, michael brought his friend over, willow, and she had been a member of the trust. Yeah. And she told kristina about her initiation -- the drugging, the tattooing...
[ Sighs ] ...The having sex with shiloh. And that's what got through to kristina. She knows that this guy is a predator, and she's done. No. What about her pledge? Doesn't matter anymore. This is your big chance to prove henrik is not your son. His name's peter august. Alright? And there's no way to prove that alex is his biological mother. And that wouldn't even change the way I feel about him. How could it not? Because he is my family. Alright? And robin'S. W-- he's robin's cousin. Not eve-- not a half-brother. I mean, that's significant. I don't care. It doesn't make any difference to me. It doesn't make a difference that you didn't sleep with faison? Okay, yes. And it doesn't make any difference that you got pregnant and had to hide it? I didn't! And it doesn't make any difference that you should feel concerned about henrik? His name's peter! Henrik -- f-faison's son!
[ Sighs ] This is your big chance... to sever all your ties with faison. Well, I'm not abandoning peter. He's not a waif. He's an adult! And every bit as treacherous and sadistic as his father! Oh -- okay, that's enough!
It seemed to me anna's made her decision. She doesn't want to pursue your lead on alex. Yes! As far as I'm concerned, the subject is closed. Why do you think it's your decision alone? This affects me, it affects robin, and it affects our grandchildren. Well, then go! Go to hungary. Go digging around in dimitri's attic. It won't change anything. I've made a decision. I want to have a relationship with peter as my son. Wow. Huh. And here's me thinking we'd always have each other's backs.
[ Door slams ] Part of me just wants to tell brad that shiloh is wiley's biological father. Then he'll understand that he has to put distance between them. Telling anyone about shiloh being wiley's father just -- it raises the risk. And if brad is a true believer, he could tell shiloh himself. You could also be opening yourself up to legal liabilities. See? I'm damned if I do, damned if I don'T. Look, I -- I really wish that I could advise you. But this is -- it's over my head. I think you should contact your lawyer. Go over your options. Look, whatever information kristina gave shiloh about sonny, it's not enough to get sonny convicted. Jason, that is not the point. Kristina betrayed someone she loves, and she's gonna feel guilty about it, and it's gonna eat her alive. So we've got to find the pledge, or make sure there's no way that shiloh can use it. Well, he can't use it if he's in the pine barrens. If shiloh disappears, you're gonna be number-one on that suspect list, and you know it. So what? There's not gonna be any evidence. Kristina will know. And she's too fragile.
[ Sighs ] You know, there is a better way to neutralize shiloh. When drew and I were in afghanistan, he always told me stories about this beautiful, brilliant woman that he had known in san diego. He spoke a lot about her. You co-- you could tell that he was very close to her. I take it that was you? Well, it could be. So even though that your time with drew was brief, it seems like it had a major impact on his life, on a spiritual level. Perhaps he sensed that you two were connected by a son that he never knew about. Well, that's a -- it's a nice thing to believe in.
[ Sighs ] Did, um -- did drew ever send you anything... when he was deployed? Perhaps a -- just a tangible reminder of -- of his thoughts for you? Well, hold on now. W-who says that dawn of day is a cult? Willow tait. It's michael's friend. You know, I've seen her in here a couple times. Yeah. So, willow says that dod's a cult? She's adamant about it. Okay, so, hold on. Let's just back up here. W-- how did the subject even come up? Well [Sighs] Brad was telling me that he wants to take wiley to the dod house for some seminar. Willow overhead it. She freaked out on us and said we're terrible parents for even considering taking wiley to dawn of day. I mean, not that it's any of her business. I've met her like twice. I don't know why she thinks she gets a say in my parenting.
[ Sighs ] Lucas, I didn't realize you'd be here. No, I bet you didn'T. Is everything okay? We should talk.
[ Sighs ] Look, please don't be upset. What are you doing here? Picking up breakfast. Th-they're not even open yet, brad. I had some e-mails to work on while I wait. I-I want to thank your mom for watching wiley with some takeout. She loves the avocado toast.Brad. Brad, stop. And...you're mad. I was, yeah. But...
[ Sighs ] Julian helped me realize that you're going through something. I just want you to know you don't have to go to dod or shiloh. You can talk to me. Drew and I, we weren't really in contact after he deployed. So the only thing that he left me was a-a cd with some -- some songs that he put together. That and, um... oscar, of course.
[ Chuckles ] That's the best gift of all. Look, I really appreciate you, um... uh, taking the time today. But I need -- I need to get going. Oh, of course. Of course. And -- and just know if -- if there's anything that we can do for you, if you ever need to share your feelings, just know that everyone in this house is here for you. Oh. Yeah, thank you. But I think it'll be some time before I am going to be open enough to share with a group of strangers. Understood. Yeah, but I do -- I do appreciate the photo, and I appreciate the time and... it's my pleasure. Means a lot to know that... just tha-- thank you. Of course.
[ Door closes ]
[ Inhales deeply ] Well, I'm glad to hear krissy's doing -- doing better. You know, I'm -- tell her to come see me when -- when she's up to it, 'cause I-I miss her. Yeah, um, I'll make sure she knows. Hold on tight, okay? I'll be right back. Damn fool. You got a minute, robert? This would be a bad time, corinthos. Well, I don't give a damn, 'cause... we need to get into what's going on with dante. I didn't mean to get involved. I'm sorry if I overstepped my boundaries with robert. No. I -- it's fine. Your opinion actually matters more than his, quite frankly, because he is so biased.
[ Sighs ] Well, your opinion is the only one that matters to me. And if you say peter's your son... I support you. Thank you. Um... I wish robert could see it like that, you know? He can't -- he -- he just... he can't get past the fact that peter is faison's son. But he's nothing like faison, you know? He's -- oh, I'm not doing this. No. I'm not -- I'm not going to let robert ruin our day. Forget it. Well, you know, I think we might still be able to... salvage part of it. You have something in mind? Maybe leave your evening open. I have... something special planned.
Okay, so this "something special" that you've got planned... mm-hmm. ...You want to give me a hint? Well, where's the fun in that? You know I'm a spy, right? So? Well, I could probably figure it out without your assistance. I don't think even you could figure this one out. Really? Mm. Mm. Mm-hmm. Okay. Mm-hmm. Well, I'll see you tonight, then. Yeah. Until tonight. Okay.
[ Both laugh ] You. Mm-hmm. You're pretty cute. So are you. Okay. Okay, robert, this has gone on long enough. You got my ring. I want it back tonight. Let's take this outside. Uh, I'll s-- I'll be back in a second, dad. Alright. Sure. Hey, I think you... forgot something.
[ Sighs ] There's not a whole lot I can tell you about the, uh... debriefing therapy. Can I send him a message? Can I talk to him? There's a lot going on with the family. The thing is... you may say something that may motivate him to want to come out early. And you don't want to jeopardize his progress, do you? Robert... can you make sure your people get dante back to himself? No guarantees. He's been through an extremely traumatic experience. Yeah, we can deprogram him. That doesn't mean he can come home and pick up life the way he had it. Hey. Hey. So, how'd it go? It was, um -- it was good. Yeah? I, uh -- I had an interesting conversation with shiloh about oscar. Wait a second. Shiloh from dod? Yeah. Look, it's a little too zen over there for my liking, but, um... shiloh was actually -- he was kind. And he tried to be comforting. Hi, ms. Miller. This is willow tait. Sorry to call so early. Please call me as soon as you get into the office. It's important. Thank you. You're doing the right thing.
[ Cellphone chimes ] That was fast. No, it's -- it's an e-mail from principal schultz. Is everything okay? Yeah, he just -- he's setting up a last-minute parent meeting tonight. Hey. Everything's gonna be okay. Alright? I hope so. You know, it'll, uh... take some adjusting, but I think dr. Byrne's therapy really worked. He really was outstanding. But I think it was willow who affected her most of all. I mean, kristina didn't know that shiloh and his minions were gonna brand her with a tattoo. I mean, he was gonna sexually assault her. When I heard willow say that and I imagined my daughter in her place, it was -- it sent chills up my spine. Yeah. Yeah, it took a lot for willow to open up like that in a roomful of strangers. Well, I'm really grateful to her for doing that. And now I just pray that this breakthrough is final and that she doesn't backslide. Kristina. You came back. We're gonna beat shiloh at his own game. We're gonna blackmail him. With what? Well, the initiation ceremony is illegal. Drugging someone is assault. Having sex with someone after you drug them is sexual assault. Okay, how -- how do we prove it? We let shiloh finish my initiation... ...and we record it.
