Josslyn jacks, 15, oscar nero, 16. Check the service tunnels to see if there's any sign of the kids as well as possible access to the catacombs.

[ Siren wails in distance ] Copy. All right. I don't know if you remember, but I was working on the case when -- yeah, I remember. Any sign of josslyn and oscar? No, not yet. Not yet.

[ Exhales sharply ] I was just explaining that oscar disappeared a few months ago. Do you think this is more of the same? No, I don't think he would take off without telling us. No, josslyn and oscar did not run away. Cameron webber said they wanted to explore the catacombs, but that was hours ago... still no service... oscar? Hey. Hey. Hey. What happened? Um...we have a little problem. Michael: Lulu's still in surgery, and they said at least a couple more hours, but, uh, look, we'll have to tell rocco tomorrow. I can be there if you think it'll help. Okay. Um, I'll -- I'll call you as soon as I know anything, okay?

[ Footsteps approaching ] All right, thanks, olivia. Hey. Hey. Any, uh, news? No, no news yet. Listen, dr. Lacey's an excellent surgeon, but it was a very severe injury, so it's a little too soon to tell. Okay, so we're in for a very long night.

[ Whistles ] Hey! Look who's here. Why didn't you tell me you were coming by for a visit? Actually, I was hoping you wouldn't be here. Daisy did most of the talking, but it was definitely shiloh who was pulling the strings. How did -- how did kristina react? She loved it. And that's the part that really worried me, jason, because it's not like an aa meeting, where you volunteer your truth when you're ready. They basically dragged kristina's past out of her and put it on full display for everyone to see.

[ Cellphone rings ] It's carly. Hey. Oh, thank god you picked up. I need you here. What -- what's going on? I'm at rice plaza. I need you to get here as soon as you can. I'll explain everything. Josslyn's in trouble.

So, it's not official yet -- but the police think that the person who attacked lulu was the same person who killed kiki and the other two. Wow. Do they know who they're looking for? Any suspects at all? Not that I've heard.

[ Sighs ] Thing is, my dad -- my dad had guards on the whole family. Someone was watching lulu's house, but no one expected her to get attacked in her office at the metro court. Wow. Sounds like this killer can get to anybody, anywhere. Yeah, but, you know, lulu -- lulu can stop him. As soon as she regains consciousness, she can identify the killer. Yeah, well, I guess, like you said, in the meantime, it's gonna be a long night. Yeah, but, you know, instead of, like, pacing holes in the floor, why don't we -- why don't we get something to eat? You know, regain our strength, and then, uh -- then we can start making phone calls, 'cause a lot of people need to know about lulu. Yeah, yeah, no, that's a great idea. Julian: Let me get this straight: You bring my grandson by my place of business, hoping I'm not gonna be here? Lulu mentioned you might be at lucy's book launch? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. That was the plan. But my bartender called in sick, so I decided to cover. But since you and wiley are already here, there's no harm in us, uh, spending a little time together, right?

[ Sighs ] You know what? You're right. Look, julian, you have more than earned your place as wiley's grandfather, and I don't know how I would have managed everything without you. Great. Then hand him over. Come here, you little... hello, little squirt. Hi. Could I grab an earl grey tea to go, please? Thank you. Excuse me. Is your name shiloh, by any chance? Why, yes, it is. I'm shiloh. What's your name? Alexis davis. I'm kristina corinthos-davis' mother. Ah. [ Chuckles ] Yeah, I thought I recognized you. I've -- I've, uh, seen a picture of you. Oh, well, it's nice to meet you. Oh, hello. Pleasure.

[ Chuckles ] My daughter kristina is very impressed with you. Oh, well, that's lovely. Well, the feeling is mutual. She's a welcome addition to the house. Um, I've also met your -- your other daughter, sam, as well. Yes. Yes. Yes, I-I know that. know, I hope you don't mind my saying this. I w-- I was just wondering if you knew when you invited kristina into your group that her older sister was the woman that wiped out your inheritance?

[ Sighs ] Thank you so much for coming, both of you. I mean, the -- the police are searching, but I haven't heard anything. I'm going out of my mind. O-okay, slow down. Just tell me what happened. Josslyn and oscar told cameron webber that they wanted to explore the catacombs, but that was hours ago. No one has heard from them. I'm worried. I'm really worried that they're lost down there, jason.

[ Police radio chatter ] We checked. The access door's padlocked -- there's no way they got through. T-t-there's not more? I mean, how many tunnels are there? We think there are six. I'm sorry. You think there are six. Y-you -- what, you don't have a blueprint or a schematic? Different departments -- what do you got? Different departments use different tunnels. You got electrical, groundskeepers... you know what? We're not far from the park. If they couldn't get in from the plaza, they -- they could've just gone to look for an alternate entrance. I ran into kim at the hospital. Oh, my god. Have you heard what happened to lulu? No. What? She was attacked in her office. She was stabbed. She's in surgery right now. Sonny's waiting with laura. Anyway, kim wasn't able to reach oscar. She asked me if I'd talked to josslyn, so we called them, but their phones were either turned off or they're out of range, and their gps trackers aren't working. Sam: No, no, no. Th-that means that they are underground and they can't get a signal. Oh, great. Okay, well, we spoke to elizabeth and then to cameron. He's the one who told us that oscar and josslyn wanted to explore the catacombs. There's a rumor at P.C. High that you can get in using the service tunnels around rice plaza. So kim called drew, drew called the cops, and here we are. Just because the kids wanted to enter the catacombs does not mean they wanted to go from here. No, okay. I don't understand. Why? Because I know another way in, and I think josslyn does, too.

[ Police radio chatter ] Okay. Easy, easy. I want to sit up. Oh. Okay.

[ Sighs ] How do you -- how do you feel? Cold. The floor is freezing. And there's a draft... yeah, I know. It's because we're above the catacombs. If we went any farther down, it would've been even colder, even harder to find a way out. How's your head? Is it bad? It feels like someone put an ice pick through my temples. I'm sorry. Why are you apologizing? I wanted to come down here as much as you did. I don't suppose you called for help? I tried. There's no service in this stupid cellar. Then we have to climb out. Okay, well, go -- go slow. Okay? You can rest, you know? I already rested, and the floor isn't getting any warmer. Okay, oscar -- oscar, you -- you just had a seizure and collapsed, okay? I-I don't want to risk it happening again. I'm okay... you're -- you're not okay. Just help me to the ladder... oscar, you can barely stand. What if you're halfway up that ladder and you have another seizure? That's not how seizures work, joss. You don't know how seizures work. And neither do I. So we have no idea if you can make it up that ladder. But we know you can. You have to go for help.

[ Chuckles ] Hey, did I ever thank you for that picture of wiley and lucas you sent on, uh, wiley's naming day? Oh, that was no big deal. Uh, well, it was a big deal to me. Look, you know, I've had your back, and I like to think that you have mine. Yeah. Of course. I mean, after all, we're sitting on one hell of a secret here. We could both lose lucas if the truth ever comes out. Right, little buddy? B-but it won't, right? I mean, you're the one who keeps telling me that I should just -- yeah, yeah, yeah. That's what I'm saying. You know, we're in this together. Which is why I appreciate anything you can do to keep me connected to little wiley here. What's going on out there? I get it, and I'll do what I can. It's just that, you know, most days, I'm able to forget that wiley isn't the original baby we adopted, and I-I can talk myself into believing that even though what I did was technically wrong, it was for the greater good. But [Sighs]... Mm-hmm. ...Whenever I see you, it just reminds me of how easily this could all come crashing down...

[ Door opens ] I'm gonna have to figure out a way to contact dante. I guess I'll start with wsb -- uh-oh. Brad? What's going on here? This, uh -- this may take a minute. Would you, uh, care to join me? Well, you know, it's really just a very simple "yes" or "no" question. Either you knew that sam was kristina's older sister or you didn'T. No, I didn't know. Really? So it was just a crazy coincidence? Well, alexis, I don't believe in coincidences. I would just say that it's the universe at work. You know what? I think I will sit for this after all.

[ Chuckles ] Please. So, what has kristina told you about me? Well, she said that, uh -- that dawn of day is your project and that you do a lot of community outreach; you work with the homeless and the underserved, which is -- is very commendable. But too good to be true, huh? You tell me. Where do you want me to start? The beginning is always a good pace.

[ Chuckles ] The beginning. Okay. Well, in the beginning... my name was david henry archer. My father made a fortune in advertising and proceeded to set me up with a trust fund and then forget about me. Then, one day, I was bumming around europe, and I got word that my father married a much younger woman than he. Her name was cheryl richards. Now, I never met her, I never saw a picture, and if I did, it didn't make much of an impact, but didn't really matter because he was married to cheryl for about six months before she cleaned him out and disappeared, which put a serious crimp in my finances. And cheryl is sam. Yes. I would imagine you must really hate her. No, on the contrary. Your daughter saved my life. You know the black duck distillery? Yeah, it's the property that sonny's developing with elq. There are cellars underneath the distillery yard, and they lead to the catacombs. Well, h-how would joss know about them? The padlock's off one the access doors, but it doesn't look like anyone's been down there. All right, I'm gonna check it out. Yeah, I'm coming with you. I'm sorry. We can't let you do that. It's my kid. Whoa. It's a restricted area. Now, we're gonna check it out, and I'll let you know if we find something, all right? Yeah, do that. Josslyn knows about black duck. Sonny and michael were discussing it over the holidays. They were -- they were going over the redevelopment, trying to figure out if they were gonna shore up the cellars or just fill them in. Okay, come on. Let's go take a look. I'm going with you. I'm going with you. Hey, what's going on? What did the cops say? That there was a padlock that was cut, but they don't think anybody went down there. I think the cops are right. I don't think they were ever here. I can't leave you. What if you have another seizure? Well, if I have it -- I have it. It won't matter if you're here or not. Well, I can help you. How? No offense, joss, but holding my head in your lap isn't exactly expert medical attention... okay, well, maybe not, but it's better than leaving you, having convulsions on the floor. Could've hit your head. You could've swallowed your tongue. You could be dead right now. Okay, okay. And you don't even bother to thank me. I'm sorry. I just -- but I just -- I still can't leave you. Joss, no one knows we're down here. Our phones don't work. If you don't go for help and no one comes down here -- how will we get out? Well, um, we're at a construction site, okay? A crew will be here in the morning. Meanwhile, it's freezing. What if we fall asleep like we did in the freezer? We'll -- we'll -- we'll keep each other talking. Wow. I have never seen you like this. Like what? Panicking. I'm not panicking. Then figure this out, okay? Two people are stuck in a hole. One of them can climb out. Should that person, "a," stay in the hole so both people freeze, or, "b," go get help? Okay, fine. Sit down. What? If you sit down, then you have less far to fall, okay? Just sit down, please. You're just being dumb right now. Okay, and if you die, oscar nero, I will never forgive you. Never. Joss, don't be mad... too late! I'm really sorry if you think that holding your head doesn't really matter, but, hey, at least I kept your airways open so you could breathe. And not that you care, but watching someone you love have a seizure is totally terrifying. Aah! Joss, watch out!

[ Thuds ] Joss, joss. Joss. -Morning. -Morning. -What do we got? -Keep an eye on that branch. Might get windy. Have a good shift. Fire pit. Last use -- 0600. I'd stay close. Morning. Get ready to switch. Protected by flo. Should say, "protected by alan and jamie." -Right? -Should it?

Joss, can you hear me?! Joss?! What can I do? Help! Somebody help us!

[ Coughing ] We're trapped down here!

[ Coughing ] Joss? Okay. Joss? Joss? I'm okay. I'm okay. You scared me so bad. I thought you were dead. Well, now you know how it feels...

[ Chuckles ] Hey, babe, uh, we were just... yeah, just seeing julian behind my back? Come here, buddy. I got you. Uh, look, it wasn't like that, lucas. I'm not talking to you. Look, wiley was fussy, so I took him for a drive. I stopped in for a cup of coffee. I didn't think julian would be here -- oh, you didn't think he'd be in his own bar? Yeah, lulu said he was gonna be at the book signing... okay. Well, I guess he had a change of plans, too. What are you talking about? Lulu got stabbed tonight. Oh, my god... what? What? Is she okay? Yeah, I don't know yet. It's too soon to tell. She's in the O.R. Michael. Yeah? Can you, uh -- can you watch wiley for a minute? Oh, yeah, of course. Thank you. Hey, buddy. Brad and I need to talk.

[ Chuckles ] What are you doing up so late, huh? Huh? You a party animal? Night owl? M-my parents said I was that. They said I was a party animal and a night owl, but you know what? I grew out of it. I grew out of it, and you probably will, too. Well, must be nice. Excuse me? Time with wiley. How did you make the vip list? Well, for starters, I didn't hold a knife to anyone's throat, let alone someone I claimed to love, so... well, michael, I-I've done a lot of work to turn my life around. Yeah, well, good for you, julian, but you still did what you did. You told those lies, and you put people in danger -- morgan among them.

[ Chuckles ] You want to compare me to sonny? 'Cause sonny's put you in danger your whole life. Yeah, well, I chose to have a relationship with him. Oh. Chose. So, you know what? I-I-if my son had lived, I'd like to think that he and my father would've been close. Mm. Obviously, lucas and sam don't feel the same way. So congratulations on turning your life around. But, you know, just because you did that does not mean that your kids owe you forgiveness or anything else.

[ Chuckles ] So what makes you think you have any right to judge me there, michael? I don'T. But I told lucas I'd look after wiley here, so I don't think I should be talking to you. Oh, my. Hey. Hi. Who's your friend? Oh, uh, this is, uh -- this is my godson, wiley.

[ Chuckles ] So, I needed money fast, and I was always comfortable with risk, so I took this job as an independent security contractor. I wound up in afghanistan, and I was on the supply side, but we were really tight with the seals, and that's how I came to know drew cain. It's also the reason that drew came to pull me out of that firefight when my convoy was attacked. Saved my life. I thought you said sam saved your life. Well [Chuckles] Sam put me on the path that led me to that firefight. You see, if not for her, I would've -- would've O.D.'D. I would've driven my car into a wall. I mean, my life was -- my life was meaningless. I was living a hollow existence. I was -- I was looking for oblivion. I was gonna find it. So sam leaving you penniless was the best thing that ever happened to you?

[ Chuckles ] Well, I didn't think that then, but yes. Drew saving my life on that road was a transformational experience for me. I had to reevaluate my life, and I had to decide what I was gonna do with the new life that had been given back to me. -Josslyn! -Oscar! Oscar! Answer me! Hey, this has changed since the last time I was here... well, they've been doing a lot of renovations. Where was the cellar before? C-closer to the river. That way. Let's go. I don't think I broke anything. You weren't breathing. Well, yeah, I got the wind knocked out of me. I'm -- I'm fine now. I'll go slow. Joss, no. Well, I remember that the ladder was rickety the first time. I just have to be more careful. Don't do it. You were right the first time. We can wait until morning. It's fine. No, you were right. It's freezing. The floor's weird, like it might collapse. We have to get out of here. I said don't do it. Hey, let go of me. I'm sorry. I just... please don't go, joss. I couldn't stand it if anything happened to you. Nothing's gonna happen to me. Carly: Josslyn! Josslyn, are you down there?! Can you hear me?! Josslyn! Mom? Drew: Oscar? Yeah, dad, I'm down here. Thank god. Thank god. We're gonna get you out, okay? We're gonna get you out.

Let's think about what goes in here, renee.Oh. And we think ba-blam's gonna kill the stomach flu? I'm scared to use the facilities. I don't blame you. If you want clean, your cleaner needs bleach in it. Clorox means clean. We thoroughly searched the service tunnels around rice plaza and the park, and there's no sign of the kids. The parents, carly corinthos and drew cain, are no longer on the scene. Please send a unit to track them down and see if they have called in. Advise the commissioner that I'm on my way to the hospital to assist with the investigation on the assault at the metro court. Wrap it up. We're done here. Are either of you hurt? No, no, but, um, oscar had a seizure. He was unconscious for a bit. I tried to crawl up the ladder to find help, but, um, it's a little unsteady. She fell. What? Josslyn... no, no, mom. I'm fine. I'm fine. I just -- I got the wind knocked out of me. I think I can make it up the ladder. I don't think he can. Okay, kids, sit tight. We're gonna figure this out.

[ Sighs ] I got to get oscar out of here. I'm pretty sure that josslyn -- she can wait for the first responders, but I don't think he can. Let's do it. So, this "spiritual awakening" that you had in afghanistan happened how many years ago? Seven. Seven. Okay, so that brings us to the present: You didn't know that drew was living in this city? No, I lost touch with drew when he went awol. I see. So I'm assuming that you didn't know that sam and drew were married at one point. Nope. So this woman who swindled your father, this man who saved your life are here in this city. And now you're here, and this is a result of the universe at work? How else would you explain it? Maybe you were looking for sam or drew -- or both. It's really your prerogative. You see, the only thing that interests me is how my daughter kristina fits into this. Brad, what were you thinking? I told you, I didn't know julian would be here. A-a-and now that he is, w-what's the big deal? I mean, aren't you and julian in a good place now? No. Well, I-I mean, I don't know. I might consider letting him back into my life, my personal life, but that does not mean that I want him spending time with our son. I really don't see the harm in letting him -- you don't know julian as well as I do, brad. Besides, we made a promise to the birth mother. Wiley, can you say hello to my -- my -- my friend willow? Huh? Can you shake her hand? Shake her hand? Hmm? I should go. I just remembered I have a -- I have a ton of, um, workbooks to grade... uh, uh, uh, willow, wait. Hey, um... is everything okay? Did -- did I -- did I do something to upset you? The birth mother lost any right to our son once that 30-day window closed. Okay? Our agreement to keep wiley away from julian is not legally binding. Okay, maybe not. But I want to respect the birth mother's wishes, brad. She gave up so much just so that we could have a family. I was introduced to kristina by daisy kwan, uh, a friend of hers. Mm-hmm. She's a member of our group. Kris was a welcome volunteer. She was great right from the start. But I had no idea that she had ties to drew -- much less cheryl/sam. Mm, so when did you make the connection? Slowly -- and in pieces. Um, first, I met this guy that looked just like drew. Turned out to be his brother. Jason morgan. Jason, yes. Jason morgan. Mm-hmm. So jason put me in touch with drew, but that was a disappointing reunion since drew didn't remember me. He didn't remember our friendship or any of the things that had gone on in afghanistan. And then, shortly thereafter, kristina moved into the dawn of day house. She invited jason and sam over for a visit, and it was sam who had put the pieces together and realized that she had been married to my father. She confronted me... you must've been astonished when you made that connection. Actually, no, not really. It just seemed as all the pieces fell into place as they should. Dad. Come here. All right. It's all right. It's all right.

[ Floorboards creaking ] We're down -- hey, joss, come here. It's okay. I'm really sorry about everything. Hey, it's okay. We're gonna get you out of here. How you feeling? I'm good. Okay, son, I need you to listen to me. You got to be truthful, all right? That way we can find out what to do next. Okay. I have a really bad headache, and I feel really weak. Uh, how's your vision? Uh, I think it's normal -- unless it's not dark in here.

[ Chuckles ] Your vision's fine, okay? We're gonna get you out. This is what we're gonna do. We're gonna go to that ladder, we're gonna climb up. I'm right behind you. I'll support you. If you get weak, if you get tired, take a break. I'm gonna get you up there, all right? What about joss? I'll get joss out once you and your dad are clear. Okay? Okay, let's go. Come on. You're good. One rung at a time, buddy. One rung at a time. I got you. You're doing great, oscar. Yeah. Here. I got you. Good. Okay. Dad, can you drive me to jessica's house?

Here you go, oscar. I got you. Da-- dad, are you okay? Yeah, I'm fine.

[ Breathing heavily ] They made it. They're okay. Oh, thank god. I was so afraid he wasn't gonna make it. Oscar's so weak, I didn't even know how I was supposed to get him out. Hey, hey. Here you go. Listen. Look at me. You are doing great. Just got to hold it together just a little bit longer, okay? Okay. Okay. I'm okay. Yeah, I know you are. It's okay. Okay, buddy, we're gonna get you to the hospital. I don't want to leave joss. I know, but we got -- joss will be right behind you, okay? Okay? Okay? Dad, please, I-I need to tell her. All right, hurry up. Joss! My dad's taking me to the hospital. Okay. See you there? I'm sorry for that stuff I said.

[ Exhales sharply ] Yeah, me, too. I love you.

[ Chuckles ] I love you, too. Oscar, let's go. I got you. I got you. Thanks for coming to save me. Of course. You're welcome. I'm just glad you're okay. All right, buddy. Okay, now it's your turn. Are you sure? I mean, I didn't want to say anything before, but I think the ladder's starting to pull apart from the wall. Yeah, no, I saw -- I saw that, but it should be able to take your weight. But what about you? I-I'll be down here to catch you if you fall. I don't mean to put you on the spot, but I-I-I left you a message about the -- the field trip to elq that you -- you wanted to put together. I j-- I didn't hear back from you, so I was... I'm -- I'm so sorry. I've -- I've been busy. Yeah, but, look, if -- if I did something to upset you, can you please just tell me? Because I-I would like to make it right, because I really -- you know, I really value our friendship. So do I. No, you -- you've been -- you've been great, michael. You haven't offended me at all. I, uh -- I just, um... hey, is everything okay? Yeah, yeah. Everything's fine. Um, I was just introducing wiley to my friend willow here. She's a third-grade teacher. -Nice to meet you. -Hi. Well, um, hope he was polite.

[ Chuckles ] Your, uh -- your little boy is quite the charmer. Brad: Ah, yeah, easy for you to say. Yeah, well, daddy brad had to take him on a little ride 'cause he got to be a little too fussy. Mm-hmm. Hey, come here, buddy. We need to get you home. All right. All right. Yeah, I'll meet you back at the hospital, okay? Yeah. You know, uh, lulu would be the first to say that you should be with your family. Thank you, michael. Much appreciated. Okay. It was really nice to meet you, willow. And you. All right, have a good night. See ya. Take care, man. All right, bye, guys. Bye.

And you'll feel it

and it takes

[ Sighs ] I am such an idiot.

[ Exhales sharply ] I know what this is about.

Don't turn back so, is this where you tell me "the universe has a plan"?

[ Chuckles ] Well, I could sense that you're not quite ready to hear that, so I'll save my breath. Sam's a little suspicious, too, but I think maybe a little less so since she attended a dawn of day seminar with kristina. And how did that go? I can't break kristina's confidence. I'm sorry. Kristina seems to have an easier time confiding in you than she does in me. That surprises you? I mean, I look at you, and I see a wonderful role model. I see a smart, confident woman who's clearly comfortable in her own skin. I mean, why wouldn't that intimidate kristina? Why wouldn't she feel like she couldn't possibly measure up? Did kristina say that, that I intimidate her? Well, you know, you're gonna have to take that up with her. But what I can tell you is, from what I've observed, whatever gulf there is between mother and daughter -- there's an enormous amount of love, as well, on both sides. Okay, you're gonna test each rung before you put your weight on it, but once you start climbing, you go, you get up there, you get off this ladder as quickly as possible. Okay. Okay, you ready? Yeah. Okay. She's coming up. Okay. All right. All right, baby, I'm right here. Come on. I got you.

[ Ladder creaking ]

[ Gasps ] Jason! It's okay. I got her. Look at me. Josslyn. Okay, you're doing great, josslyn. Go ahead. Go ahead. Just keep climbing. Give me your hand. Look at me. Just keep climbing away. Eyes up. Go. Careful. Go! Mom. I got you. I got you, baby.

[ Breathing heavily ]

Let me look at you. Let me look at you. No, no, I'm fine. I'm fine. It's freezing down there, josslyn. Yeah, I know, but jason gave me his jacket. It is really cold. Did you hit your head when you fell? No, I don't think so. I didn't black out or anything. Oh, I need to get you to the hospital. No, mom, what about jason? The ladder's really bad. I-I-I-I'll stay with jason. Go. He'll be fine. I promise.

[ Floorboards creaking ] Jason? I'm taking josslyn to the hospital. Good. Go get her checked out. Okay. The fire department's gonna be here any minute, and sam's gonna wait with you. Yeah, I'll be fine. Okay. Jason... thank you for rescuing me. All I did was give you a boost. You rescued yourself. Come on. Sam, call me as soon as he's out. Yeah, of course I will. I promise. Sam: Jason! Hey, are they gone? Yeah, they just left. You sure they can't hear me? No, no. Why? 'Cause I don't think I can wait for the fire department. I was holding wiley the entire time, and it's hard seeing a baby, thinking of the one that you lost. I know you understand. I'm not sure anyone else does. And, l-look, if you ever need to talk, you know I'm here. I might take you up on that, but not tonight. Workbooks, remember? Right. Actually, I have to get back to the hospital anyway. Um, I'm sure you're gonna be notified, but charlotte's mother was attacked tonight. Oh, my god. Wait. Is she okay? Well, you know, she has a lot of support from her family, a-and, hopefully, she'll -- she'll be okay, but, you know, I got to get back. So, can I, um -- can I walk you to your car? That would be great. Yeah? Thank you. Okay, let's go.

[ Door closes ] You are somewhat perceptive.

[ Chuckles ] I can see why people might be interested in hearing you speak. You know, there's this great saying that says, "good judgment comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment." Look, I've made enough bad decisions to last 10 lifetimes. I mean, I'm just trying to give people the benefit of my mistakes so they can live better lives. Is that what you're trying to do for kristina? Well, I think the real question for kristina is, is what is she trying to do for herself? I will give you this; she does seem to be more content and more composed since she's been involved with dawn of day. Hmm. Well, maybe you'll follow in her footsteps and attend one of our seminars. I'm not quite ready for that yet.

[ Chuckles ] I will, however, give you the benefit of the doubt for now for kristina's sake. Well, I hope that one day you won't have any doubts. I'm a lawyer. I always have doubts. I'm skeptical by nature. Well, fair enough. See, I used to be skeptical, too, till the universe opened my eyes. Alexis... it was truly a pleasure. Well, thank you for taking the time to speak to me. No, it was my pleasure. was the most painless cross-examination I've ever had. Hmm. Take care.

I need you to know

that I've got time

[ Floorboard creaks ] Hey, I'm coming up -- the floor's about to give out. Be careful.

[ Ladder creaking ] Whoa! Hey! Hey! Here, take my hand! Take my hand. Take it. Come on.

[ Wood cracks ] Jason!

[ Crash ]
