Jason: She’s in Pentonville until the trial starts. I-It's not guilty by reason of insanity, and Diane says it's her only option. No, I don't agree with it all. That's why we gotta prove that Nelle set Carly up. Then, Spinelli, just start over. You got to go back to the first of the year. Go through all Nelle's records -- Phones, financial, everything. But we know that Nelle left a trail somewhere, and we got to find it.

[Knock on door]

Jason: Look, I gotta get to the Quartermaines' to look for the blanket, okay? Call me when you got something.

Curtis: Hey, hey, hey, hey.

Sam: Wow! [Chuckles] He finally emerges.

Curtis: Yeah, well, uh... My lovely fiancée and I had some celebrating to do.

Sam: Congratulations. That was huge, you know. Huge! You did that at the Nurses' Ball in front of everybody.

Curtis: Go big or go home, you know? Since she said yeah, I'm sure you can't blame a brother for wanting to celebrate.

Sam: No, not at all. But... You did miss a lot last night.

Curtis: Yo, I heard. Look, I think I'm a pretty good investigator, right?

Sam: Eh.

Curtis: But I -- [Laughs] But I bow to you. I don't know how the hell you figured out that Peter August was Henrik Faison. Wow.

Peter: It's a simple transaction. You help me, I give you the means to remember your whole life as Drew Cain.

Drew: What the hell are you talking about?

Peter: Everything that ever existed about Drew Cain -- It still exists. And it's all in my possession.

Nina: This is Nina Reeves. I met you when you we were representing Lulu Falconeri in the custody hearing against my soon-to-be ex-husband, Valentin Cassadine. Um, that's why I want to talk to you. I want to start with divorce proceedings. I would like you to represent me. Um, I'll hear from you soon, hopefully.

[Footsteps approach]

Liesl: Where is Maxie?

Nina: Oh, hey, Aunt Liesl! Hey, I've been trying to get ahold of you.

Liesl: Oh, service on the Matterhorn is notoriously bad. The baby's all right?

Nina: Yeah. Yeah, he's small, but he's growing every day.

Liesl: And Maxie -- No complications with the birth?

Nina: No, definitely not. Definitely not. They say that she's doing fine.

Liesl: Wunderbar!

Nina: Yeah.

Liesl: Enough talk. Take me to my grandson.

Nina: Oh, um, you know what? There are a few things that you need to know.

[Doorbell rings]

Valentin: Hello, Natasha.

Liz: Dr. Bensch propositioned you sexually? I'm not doubting you, I-I just -- I don't want to misunderstand.

Kiki: Yeah, uh, just now. He offered me a key to his hotel room and told me to be there, waiting for him, if I wanted a better evaluation. It's not the first time he's come on to me.

Kim: I hope you don't mind, um, Josslyn gave me your address. May I come in?

Jason: Uh, this really isn't a good time.

Kim: I wouldn't be here if it wasn't important.

Jason: [Sighs] What's it about?

Kim: Your brother.

Jason: Well, what about him?

Kim: Drew's about to take a terrible risk. And you're the one person I think who can stop him.

Sam: When I found Faison's lighter on Peter's desk, it just -- It all clicked. But by that time, Peter had already made arrangements to meet Anna at the docks. Thank God Jason showed up when he did, or else Anna would be dead.

Curtis: Hmm. Look, don't take this the wrong way, but... If Jason got the drop on him, then why is Peter still alive?

Sam: Because Anna threatened to kill Jason if anything happened to Peter.

Curtis: Yeah, that's, uh... that's taking law enforcement to the next level.

Sam: Oh, no, no, no, no. This has nothing to do with law. Brace yourself.

[Ship horn blasts]

Sam: Anna is Peter's mother.

Curtis: Oh, ho. Run that by me again.

Sam: Yeah. Faison got Anna pregnant. And Anna gave the baby up. Lo and behold... We have Peter August.

Curtis: Wow. That's why I couldn't find any record on this cat.

Sam: Mm-hmm.

Curtis: His whole history has been forged.

Sam: No, I-I don't think his entire history has been forged. I do believe the past couple of years, he has been living as Peter August.

Curtis: [Sighs] Whoa, man. So what happens to him now?

Sam: Well, the WSB is working on extradition for Peter.

Curtis: Oh, I know he fired.

Sam: Yeah. Drew put out a press release this morning.

Curtis: Just Drew -- Your name wasn't on it?

Sam: I agreed to stay at Aurora because I was investigating Peter, and now that the truth is out, I really feel like Drew needs some time to himself to figure out... who he is in his own life. And I -- I certainly need some time to rebuild a life of my own.

Peter: We both know Dr. Maddox took a baseline map of your memory and put it on a flashdrive, which was then hidden in a Christmas ornament given to Anna Devane for safekeeping.

Drew: Why don't you call her Mom? Or would that be awkward because you tried to kill her last night?

Peter: Not knowing what she had, Anna donated the ornament to a community Christmas tree, where I appropriated it.

Drew: Stole it.

Peter: And removed the flashdrive. I have a copy of your memories. And it's yours... For a price.

Valentin: I checked with your office. They said I might find you here. Is this a, uh, late start?

Alexis: I make my own hours.

Valentin: Can I come in?

Alexis: Well, that depends what you want.

Valentin: I want to solicit your work as an attorney. I'll pay you hourly. I'll make a generous contribution to the pro-bono work your daughter so eloquently described at the ball.

Alexis: Fine. Come in. Why are you here?

Valentin: I want your help moving the bulk of my assets to a trust in my daughter Charlotte's name.

Alexis: And why do you want to do that?

Valentin: This is a precaution against any potential legal difficulties.

Alexis: Someone else is trying to sue you? Oh, shocking.

Valentin: No, not yet. But you can't be too careful, can you?

Alexis: Well, in your case, that's true. So you have any number of lawyers on your payroll. Why me?

Valentin: 'Cause you're family. And families should help each other.

Julian: Kim, um, I'd like the chance to apologize for last night and explain what happened. Um, if you could, uh, call me back, or better yet, stop by Charlie's. Okay, bye. Lucas. It's been awhile.

Lucas: Yeah.

Julian: Everything okay?

Lucas: Well, actually, I need your help. It's about my biological mother.

Liesl: Are you torturing me on purpose? Stop dropping hints and explain yourself.

Nina: All right, um... uh, Peter August delivered the baby on the side of the road.

Liesl: Good for him. I'll bake a strudel to thank him.

Nina: Peter is really Henrik Faison.

Liesl: Nein. It isn't possible. I remember the boy as shy, clumsy, tripping over his own feet.

Nina: Well, he's changed, obviously.

Liesl: But Peter is -- is Maxie's... friend. He was there at Nathan's funeral.

Nina: He was also there when Nathan was shot. Cesar Faison wasn't going to the Metro Court for Maxie. He was going to find Peter. [Voice breaking] And J was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Liesl: No. Maxie knows this?

Nina: Yeah.

Liesl: Peter?

Nina: Peter is in jail. I don't know what they're gonna do with him, but hopefully nothing good.

Liesl: There'll be time to deal with him later. I must see my grandson.

Nina: I'm not... finished.

Jason: I can't help.

Kim: Well, will you please let me explain?

Jason: I-I'm sorry, but Carly's been remanded to Pentonville, and she's my priority.

Kim: Okay, I'm so sorry to hear about what's happened with Carly. But -- But her life isn't on the line, and Drew's might be.

Jason: Yeah, but Drew can take care of himself.

Kim: Okay, listen, listen, I understand that you are focused on your friend. Okay, but I am focused on Oscar's father. You barely know my son, b-but he is your nephew. And he's a really good kid. And if he loses his father just as he's getting to know him, it's gonna break his heart. So I am asking you for his sake. Just please hear me out.

Jason: Okay.

Sam: Drew and I acquired Aurora because we wanted to provide a safe lifestyle for our family. And I think we're -- We did that. And -- And I want to support him, I do. And I -- I think I have. It's just working behind a desk, I am just not... I don't know, I'm not wired that way.

Curtis: No, I-I get it, you know. You want variety, you want stimulation, you want to meet new people. You want challenges that require you to think quick on your feet. I know.

Sam: Exactly.

Curtis: I'm wired the same way. So you need to look no further and partner up with me.

Drew: You've had that flashdrive since Christmas. You could have arranged for it to come to light, you could have given it to me anonymously, but instead... you held on to it, just in case you needed, uh, leverage to bargain with, right?

Peter: Prepare for every eventuality. That's just good business.

Drew: Be careful. It's not business, it's my life.

Peter: Exactly. That flashdrive and everything on it is yours... as soon as you get me out of here.

Liesl: Why waste any more time on Peter August?

Nina: Because Valentin knew who he was all along.

Liesl: I suppose he would. Valentin worked with Cesar on and off. He might have seen Peter on a school holiday.

Nina: No. It was more than that. He was like his mentor or something. He knew him since he was a baby. Valentin also knew his mother, as well.

Liesl: [Clicks tongue] Peter's mother was a streetwalker. One of the many Cesar hired... to resemble his precious Anna.

Nina: Wrong.

Liesl: What do you mean, "wrong"? Cesar told me himself.

Nina: You never knew the truth? Henrik Faison's mother is Anna Devane.

Alexis: Rooting through my things is not a way to solicit my services.

Valentin: You feeling nostalgic?

Alexis: Actually, I'm feeling profound gratitude that I escaped my horrid family with my sanity more or less intact.

Valentin: I think we're both lucky in that regard.

Alexis: I was referring to my mental health, not yours.

Valentin: Uh, I have my failings, but unlike Stavros and our father, galloping insanity is not one of them.

Alexis: Well, that may be true, but you certainly inherited their lack of scruples, morals, and any resemblance of a conscience.

Valentin: Sure. I'm surprised to find you digging through our family's past. I thought that you tried to avoid everything Cassadine.

Alexis: Just trying to fill in a gap in my knowledge of family history.

Valentin: Really? Well, if you want to know about Mikkos, all you gotta do is ask me. In fact, if you do this work for me... I'll tell you everything you want to know.

Kiki: First, Dr. Bensch was super nice. He was really complimentary. Um, he was the one who suggested I apply to med school, so he was really encouraging through the whole process. It was only when he started insisting on taking me out to meals and foisting gifts on me that things got weird. But I had just thought he was being a mentor.

Liz: Mm, that's not how mentors are supposed to behave.

Kiki: Part of me knew that. But I didn't want to seem ungrateful or oversensitive. It wasn't, um... I didn't know how far this had gone until he kissed me.

Liz: When did that happen?

Kiki: A few months ago. But I thought maybe it was just a misunderstanding, maybe I-I had sent out some signals to him, and I... I told him that I did not have those kinds of feelings for him, and... he seemed to accept it.

Liz: And then what happened?

Kiki: Then he started treating me differently. When he wasn't being extra hard on me, tearing me apart for the tiniest little things, he was... super nice, easygoing. It was like the reprimands and the chewing out never happened. Then this afternoon, he... he called me into his office, and he showed me a draft of my evaluation. It was... [Scoffs] … a disaster. But he told me there were still time for revisions, if I... met him in his hotel room.

Liz: Do you think he's waiting there right now?

Kiki: I flat-out denied him, so, uh... That's why I freaked out when I saw him in the hub. I -- I bet you he's still lurking around here somewhere.

Liz: Oh, great. 'Cause he's about to get what's coming to him.

Kim: So Dr. Maddox thinks it's possible to perform a second procedure. And best-case scenario... Drew would no longer remember any part of your life. Now, he'd still remember his time in Port Charles because those were experiences he had. And it's possible that without your memories in the way, he might even remember his own past.

Jason: What's the worst case?

Kim: He'll suffer severe brain damage. Now, to me, it's -- it's no choice. I mean, w-why would you risk your -- your agency, your -- your ability to reason and feel? But -- But Drew insists that he wants his own life without any of your memories.

Jason: I-I'm just not sure what you want me to do.

Kim: Talk to him. Try and convince him that he -- he can still have his own life -- Even without this procedure.

Jason: I'm sorry, but you've wasted your time. Drew will never listen to me.

Kim: B-Because of Sam?

Sam: Let me get this straight. You want to open up a PI firm with me.

Curtis: I'm inviting you to join me. I already got a thriving business.

Sam: I already have a loyal client list.

Curtis: Right, which is why we should combine forces and resources. I mean, there's just too much work out here for us to do this alone.

Sam: Are you trying to recruit me before I re-establish a business of my own and become your biggest competition?

Curtis: [Scoffs] Look, we both know how valuable a partner is, okay? And, um... It's a smart move. Plus, the names sound great together. "Ashford and Cain."

Sam: Cain. Yeah, um... McCall. I've already filed... the paperwork to go back to my original last name, so McCall.

Curtis: Hmm, you know what? I like that better. Ashford and McCall. There it is.

Sam: How come it can't be McCall and Ashford?

Curtis: I don't like that one so much.

Sam: Well, I do.

Curtis: [Chuckles] Look, are we gonna be 50-50 on this?

Sam: Yes, absolutely.

Curtis: Okay. Then -- Then perhaps maybe we should do this alphabetically, like, uh... like Lennon and McCartney, okay? Right. You could argue for years about who was more talented or who had more commercial appeal. But at the end of the day, they were equally brilliant, right? And more brilliant together.

Sam: Mm-hmm.

Curtis: And they put their names in alphabetical order.

Sam: Look, I -- I have to admit that's probably one of the most original arguments I've ever heard.

Curtis: There it is. Did it work?

Sam: I don't know. I don't know, I... I have to talk to Drew. I have some things to finalize with him. And, um, I've got a few loose ends to tie up.

Drew: [Chuckling] You want me to break you out of here?

Peter: It can be done. You should know. You did it for my father.

Drew: Yeah, I didn't have a choice.

Peter: Well, you have a choice now. You can go on with the way it's been, wondering if every thought and memory you have is yours or your brother's, or you can become the man that you're meant to be.

Drew: I don't need your help for that. Dr. Maddox is gonna oversee the procedure. He'll wipe away Jason's memory from my mind, and that will be that.

Peter: Without that flashdrive, there is no way to restore your original memory.

Drew: Maybe not. Or who knows? Maybe they're still there. Maybe with Jason gone, Drew Cain will just come on back.

Peter: Or maybe you'll end up with no mind at all.

Drew: Risk I'll have to take.

Peter: Why?

Drew: Guard?

Peter: When you have a better option.

Drew: [Chuckles]

Peter: I'm offering your past for my future. It's an even trade.

Drew: No deal.

Peter: You're making a mistake.

Drew: You know, I made a lot of mistakes. I'm not gonna make the mistake of setting you free. You enjoy your time here... Henrik.

Peter: Drew. Drew! Drew?!

Liesl: Anna Devane... is Peter's mother?

[Telephone ringing in distance]

Nina: No question. She had the baby in secret. She didn't want anyone to know. She gave it away. Valentin found out. He took the baby, gave it to Faison. He gave it to Faison. Obviously, Valentin did not tell Faison that Anna was the mother.

Liesl: Henrik is fortunate in that much. If Cesar had known the boy was a product of his union with Anna, he would've been even more obsessed. Peter would never have escaped.

Nina: That's what Valentin said.

Liesl: Not worth our energy. Nathan's son is here, a living reminder of my beautiful son, your devoted brother. Come. Let us see our boy.

Lucas: There's a section to fill in about grandparents, and I was hoping to put down some information about Cheryl. But Mom seems really fuzzy on the details, and, um, I'd ask Aunt Tiffany, but she hasn't been feeling too hot and I don't want to upset her. So, I was hoping that maybe you could help out.

Julian: Yeah, I-I'd be happy to. Whatever you need.

Lucas: Thank you. [Sighs]

Julian: You didn't actually think I'd turn you down, did you?

Lucas: Well, I mean, it would've been within your rights to do so, seeing as how Brad and I asked you to keep your distance.

Julian: [Sighs] Look, I understand that you and Brad are only doing what good parents would do to protect their child.

Lucas: We have to get a child before we can protect it.

Julian: What are you talking about? I talked to you a couple weeks ago. You said the adoption was official. Birth mother change her mind or something?

Lucas: Well, no, not yet, but the further we get into this process, the closer we get to the due date, the more I realize this is far from a done deal. She could pull the rug out from under us at any time.

Alexis: Why would I believe anything you say about Mikkos?

Valentin: What would I stand to gain by lying?

Alexis: Just because I don't know what your motive is doesn't mean you don't have one.

Valentin: Now, that is spoken like a true Cassadine. Listen, you don't want to know, you don't want to know, but let me tell you this -- Nobody knows more about our clan than I do.

Alexis: And why is that? How did you come upon this treasure trove of family lore? You were sent to boarding school when you were 8 years old.

Valentin: I was 6.

Alexis: The family didn't even think you existed, that you were some ghost or this myth. Let's be honest. Neither one of us had any meaningful contact with our daddy.

Valentin: Well, maybe so, but I have been the sole owner of the Cassadine estate since I inherited it, and I'm a bit of a demon for research. And I've learned quite a lot about our family in general and even more about our father specifically.

Alexis: Why would you bother doing that? You know that he left that estate to you as a last resort in case his legitimate sons died, which they did. I mean, he certainly would never have named his daughter as his heir.

Valentin: Would you have wanted to inherit?

Alexis: Hell, no.

Valentin: Are you sure? Would've been sweet to get that validation, even if it was decades too late.

Alexis: So, is that why you do this? Is that what this is to you -- Some sort of triumph? Is that why you're researching Mikkos?

Valentin: I didn't say it was a healthy fascination. I mean, sometimes we are drawn to the thing that hurts us the most. Wouldn't you agree? Hmm.

Kim: Your -- Your personal life, it's none of my business.

Jason: You're right.

Kim: Okay, but Oscar is. Okay, and he needs Drew, far more than I realized or I wanted to admit. And even though Drew has not said this, I think that part of the reason he wants this procedure is because of his breakup with Sam. I mean, I can't imagine what it must be like for him, you know, not to know which of his feelings for her belong to him or belong to you.

Jason: Look, I-I don't know what it's like for Drew. All I know is he wants nothing to do with me.

[Door opens]

Kim: Jason, please.

[Door creaks]

Kim: Can’t you just try?

Jason: A-And tell him what? Not to take the risk? That's not my choice to make. [Sighs] Okay, if -- if I were in his place and if the only way I could be free was to risk everything that I know and everything that I am... I think it'd be worth it because I'd rather die than live knowing that somebody else was controlling me. Maybe Drew feels the same way.

[Door opens]

Peter: Change your mind?

Sam: You weren't expecting to see me, were you? You know the only reason why you're alive is because you saved Jason's life and you could have the answer to rebuild Drew's, and for that and that alone, I am grateful.

Peter: How grateful?

Jason: I'm not gonna apologize for coming back, for living my life. It doesn't mean that you can't live your own.

Drew: [Inhales sharply] You know, I look in the mirror, and all I see is you. I don't remember anything that's real before 2014, but I feel like I was there for everything -- Every shootout, every arrest, every criminal activity, but I don't want any of that. I don't want your baggage, but it's what I got.

Drew: Dr. Maddox, it's Drew Cain. I know what I want to do.

Liesl: Which one is he?

Nina: Right there. See? Baby West.

[Monitor beeping]

Liesl: He's winzig. [Chuckles] So small. [Chuckles]

Nina: He's getting stronger every day.

[Beeping continues]

Nurse: Oh, checking on James again? Oh, he's quite the looker.

Liesl: Did -- Did she say "James"?

Nina: Yeah. Maxie named the baby James.

Liesl: [Chuckles] I could not conceive of a finer name. [Laughs] That's wonderful.

Alexis: I can do all the research I need to do all by myself.

Valentin: All right. Then I will take my leave, but please consider my offer because it still stands.

Alexis: I'm an excellent researcher on my own.

Valentin: You're assuming you know where to look and what to ask.

Alexis: Why wouldn't I?

Valentin: Says the woman who successfully blocked the memory of witnessing her mother's murder. You didn't know I knew that, did you?

Alexis: It's no longer a secret.

Valentin: Oh, it was from you for a long time, as was the fate of our littlest sister, Kristina. And how about your baby, Samantha? It's remarkable how much of your life is a mystery to you. It's almost as if you don't want to know.

Alexis: I do now. Get your portfolio. If you want me to establish a trust, I need a full accounting of your assets.

Kiki: I-I can't confront Dr. Bensch.

Liz: Kiki, you don't have to. We'll take it to administration.

Kiki: Elizabeth, there's no proof that any of this happened, okay? It'll be my word against his. The second that my accusation comes out, I'm gonna be labelled a troublemaker. It's gonna mess me up here. It's gonna mess me up at school.

Liz: That's what he wants you to think. By keeping you scared, he keeps you silent, and hopefully, he will roll over the moment he's confronted.

Kiki: Yeah, like all of the other guys who have been called out?

Liz: [Sighs]

Kiki: Maybe -- Maybe I misinterpreted. Maybe it really is just a-a misunderstanding.

Liz: Kiki. Dr. Bensch is harassing you. There is no other way to read the situation. He offered you a key to his hotel room. I know how you feel. I went through a similar experience when I was a teenager.

Kiki: Your -- Your rape? No. No, this is nothing like that. He -- He never forced me to --

Liz: I mean the feelings are the same. You feel powerless and that Dr. Bensch's behavior is somehow your fault, but no one has the right to make you feel like this, and there's no way to make it better except by speaking up.

Kim: So, you think that Drew's making the right choice. You think he should have the procedure.

Jason: It doesn't really matter what I think.

Kim: No, actually, it does. It does because the more I talk to you, the less you remind me of him, which makes me think that the procedure isn't necessary. I mean... Drew's in there, and if he's just patient, then -- then maybe he will come back on his own.

Jason: Well, then that's what you should tell him. Tell him that.

Kim: But your memories still influence him. All right, I-I'm -- I need to ask you -- If you were in Drew's place and you were willing to die to be free, wh-what would convince you not to?

Jason: The people I love.

Kim: How?

Jason: [Sighs] I know Sam would ask me not to, and so would Sonny. And then Carly would tell me I couldn't do it because, uh, she needs me and that my life was too important to throw away, and then she would remind me that I have, uh, two kids, plus Michael, and it wouldn't be fair to risk leaving them. And, yeah, she would tell me that, you know, it sucks to have somebody's else memory, but... People live through a lot worse.

Kim: And that would be enough?

Jason: Yeah. I-I can hear Carly in a way I can't hear anybody else. You know what? Maybe Drew can -- can hear you the same way.

Kim: Maybe. Thanks. You've been a lot of help.

Peter: You want to thank me? Then listen carefully. There's not much time.

Sam: No, w-w-wait a minute. Gratitude is not the same as owing somebody something. I don't owe you anything. You kept Drew's entire life from him. You made everybody believe that Jason was dead for five years!

Peter: And now that Jason's home, what about Drew, or do you not care?

Sam: What about the -- I don't owe you an explanation.

Drew: What about your daughter? What are you gonna tell Scout when she asks why her father doesn't smile or speak? Why he's lying half-alive in some hospital bed?

Sam: What the hell is that supposed to mean?

Peter: Drew's planning to have another procedure to remove Jason's memories, but he has nothing to replace them with. He'll listen to you, Sam. Tell him not to risk it. Tell Drew he needs that flash drive.

[Elevator bell dings]

Nina: [Sniffling]

Curtis: Hey, Nina.

Nina: Hey!

Curtis: Any newborn nephews around here that could use a teddy bear?

Nina: Oh, yes. [Chuckles] One nephew, one aunt.

Curtis: Give me a hug. Is this, uh, about the baby?

Nina: Oh, these are good tears.

Curtis: Yeah. What am I missing, Nina?

Nina: Um, my husband turned out to be everything everybody warned me about. That's all. So, I'm divorcing him. Do you have a tissue?

Curtis: Yeah. [Sighs]

Julian: Look, I understand you and Brad are nervous about the adoption, but there's no reason for you guys to get all worked up. The birth mother already chose you guys as parents, so...

Lucas: Yeah, but state law gives her 30 days from the moment she surrenders the baby to revoke her decision.

Julian: So, for 30 days, you're gonna raise the baby, feed the baby, put the baby to bed, bond with it.

Lucas: Yeah, and we could lose it at any time.

Julian: How are you expected to hold your breath for 30 days and not truly call the baby your own?

Lucas: State law sides with the birth mother. I mean, I don't like it, but I get it.

Julian: Uh, okay. You know what? You guys just need to meet with the mother, okay? Uh, so she knows you're real people, not profiles on a page. I mean, have you, uh --

Lucas: It's -- It's a semi-open adoption. Doesn't work like that. She gets to know us, but we don't get to know her.

Julian: Okay, well, any good lawyer's gonna be able to exploit that. Have you talked to Alexis about this?

Lucas: No, we haven't talked to Alexis about this. We knew what the risks were when we got into this. We -- We -- We knew that adoption could fall apart at any time.

Julian: Well, I don't want to see you get hurt, Lucas.

Lucas: Then don't look. It's not your family. It's my family. It's mine and Brad's family. I'm not gonna do anything to screw that up now.

Julian: [Sighs]

Alexis: This is a lot of material.

Valentin: Well, I'm worth a lot of money.

Alexis: It's gonna take me awhile to sort through this.

Valentin: I'll pay you double if you get squared away as quickly as possible.

Alexis: So, if you want Nina to oversee Charlotte's trust, you're gonna have to have some contact with her. You're gonna have to discuss this with her.

Valentin: Nina is not in the frame of mind where she's gonna be taking my calls.

Alexis: I certainly hope you don't think this maneuver is gonna get you back on Nina's good side, because amends aren't made through material things. They're made through actions. Trust and loyalty.

Kiki: I know you think I should report Dr. Bensch.

Liz: This not about me, and I'm not trying to pressure you. Just know whatever you decide, I'm gonna support you.

Kiki: Even if I decide to be a coward and do nothing?

Liz: [Sighs] What Dr. Bensch is doing is wrong. You have every right to report him. Doesn't mean you have to act on it. But I want you to consider something I didn't after I was raped -- By staying quiet, Dr. Bensch will feel emboldened to continue his behavior. Maybe not with you, but definitely with the next vulnerable person to catch his eye.

Kiki: And it'll be my fault.

Liz: No. No, he is responsible for his behavior, not you. I just don't -- I don't want you to carry around the regret of staying silent, because you're not powerless. If you can find the strength to stand up to Bensch, you can stop him.

Kiki: He's a doctor. I'm a student. What if no one believes me?

Liz: I believe you, and I'll be by your side every step of the way.

Kiki: Okay. Let's go. [Sighs]

[Cellphone ringing]

[Ringing stops]

[Monitor beeping]

Liesl: Yoo-hoo, James. It's me, Oma. Willkommen in der welt. [Sighs] What a beautiful boy you are. Just like your father. [Sighs] I'm so sorry I wasn't here when you were born. But I am here now... and I'll never be far again. So long as I am in the world, you will have nothing and no one to fear. I promise you. I will make sure of it.

[Door opens]

[Footsteps approach, door rattles]

[Door locks]

Peter: Well, if it isn't my oldest friend.

Drew: Hey.

Kim: Hey, Drew. Hi. [Chuckles] Glad I ran into you. Um, you know what? I-I was, uh -- I was thinking about our conversation earlier.

Drew: Yeah?

Kim: Yeah.

Drew: So was I.

Kim: Yeah? I'd love to talk some more.

Drew: And we will. I-I promise, as soon as this is all over.

Kim: What do you mean?

Drew: I just got off the phone with Dr. Maddox. I'm gonna go ahead with the procedure, and, um, well, with any luck, next time you see me, I'll just be myself, not, uh, anyone else. See you later.

Jason: Come on, Spinelli. Just work on the scarf. Nelle had to buy it somewhere. No, I haven't been to the Quartermaines' yet. No.

[Knock on door]

Jason: Someone's here. Okay, I'll -- I'll call you back. Sam.

Sam: Jason. I need your help.

David (to Ava): I was hoping to pick up something beautiful tonight.

Kiki (to Monica): I’d like to file a complaint against Doctor Bensch.

Andre (to Drew): Have you reconsidered having the procedure?

Liesl (to Anna): It’s your fault that my son is dead!

Sam (to Jason): I want you to help me break Peter out of custody.

Peter (to Valentin): It’s a good thing that these bars are between us.
