Episode #14020 ~ Griffin comforts Ava; Carly is at her wit's end; Sonny receives a welcome phone call; Lulu updates Peter; Jason sees the truth.

Carly: The test came back negative. There's nothing
physically wrong with me.
Sonny: Well, that's good news.
Carly: Well, not really, since you think I'm losing my mind.
Sonny: I never said that.
Carly: I can see it in the way you look at me, Sonny, and in the way you talk to
me. You blame me for Avery's disappearance. It's like you think I left Mike here
by himself to babysit Avery, and I didn't do that.
Sonny: Can we not talk about this right now?
Carly: No, no! We need to talk about this, okay? Because you complained that I
didn't tell you what was going on, but when I do, you dismiss it. Dante traced
the calls. Okay? I held that scarf in my hand. The scarf was real. The note was
real. I mean, do you really think I'm making this up in my head?
Sonny: What other explanation is there?
Carly: [Exhales sharply]
Griffin: I ran into, uh, Julian on his way out. He's coordinating a search with
the Charles Street neighborhood committee. The more eyes looking for Avery, the
Ava: Oh, God. [Laughs] I can't -- can't believe it's come to this. My little
girl is out there missing, and my last, best hope rests on the -- the city's
goodwill toward my brother, who used to be public enemy number one.
Griffin: Look, Julian isn't your only hope. The -- The PCPD is out there
Ava: Well, speaking of the cops, why isn't Jordan Ashford still running point on
Chase: You know, that nanny's statement isn't gonna become more helpful the
longer you stare at it.
Dante: I think I know where Mike took Avery. I need to go. I'll keep you posted.
Chase: Whoa, whoa, no. Hey. Like it or not, I'm your partner. Where you go, I
Dante: Fine. You keep up, keep quiet -- We don't want to get people's hopes up
until we know Mike and Avery are safe.
Avery: Grandpa, wake up!
Bartender: An order of that size is gonna take a while. You sure you don't want
us to deliver it?
Lulu: Thanks. I'm fine to wait.
Bartender: All right.
Peter: Lulu. It seems I can't shake you.
Lulu: Uh, you might have noticed that I was here first, so who can't shake whom?
Peter: Fair enough. I was just about to grab lunch. Would you care to join me?
Lulu: Oh. Thanks. I can't. I'm getting food for Dante's family. Everyone's been
up all night.
Peter: I am very sorry to hear about little Avery's disappearance.
Lulu: Oh. Hold on. Sorry. It might be them.
Peter: Oh, no, no. Go right ahead.
Lulu: Oh, God. This could be it.
Peter: What, something exciting?
Lulu: The man claiming to be Henrik Faison just got back to me.
Anna: How's Emma?
Robert: Uh, she, uh, found a bunch of kids her own age. They're in the game
room. I left them with an agent just to make sure nothing happens.
Anna: Well, thank you, Robert. That's good. It's better that she's not here
while we start questioning people about Faison's son.
Robert: While we have this, uh, moment alone...
Robert: … What aren't you telling me about this case?
Bruhl: Welcome, Frau Ryder. I'm so pleased to be able to meet you in person.
Sam: I am so sorry. I can only give you 45 minutes of my time. I do have a
flight to Paris tonight.
Bruhl: Understood. Though I regret having such a brief time in your charming
Sam: Oh, you know, I've been advised to move some of my assets here to
Switzerland. Although I am very happy with my banker in the Grand Keys.
Bruhl: There are many advantages to making a deposit here at the Eisenschaft
Bank. But before we begin, perhaps your bodyguard will feel more comfortable in
our reception area.
Sam: [Laughs] Oh, no, no. I can't. I'm so sorry. My mother doesn't allow me to
travel without protection. But don't you worry. [Hushed] Just pretend he's not
[Indistinct radio chatter]
Ava: Oh, no. I think the last thing that I need right now is more caffeine.
Griffin: I thought that might be the case, so I brought you a chamomile tea,
Ava: Oh. Well, thank you.
Ava: I'll take it. You didn't happen to spike it, did you?
Griffin: Well, I could -- I could still run back out.
Ava: [Laughing] No.
Ava: Oh, no. No, I think I'll keep my wits about me. Mm. This waiting is
torture. They won't even let me do anything to help -- Not that there's anything
I can do. [Sniffs]
Griffin: Look, I'm -- I'm sure they want you here when they find Avery. They
will find her.
Ava: Griffin, I know that you want me to keep the faith, but you have to realize
that sometimes prayers and faith, they just aren't enough. Sometimes they're too
little, too late.
Mike: Hmm? Oh. Oh! What -- What -- What's going on?
Avery: Where are the horses?
Mike: Oh, yes. We -- We said we were gonna wait right here until they came back,
Avery: I'm hungry.
Mike: Me, too. Uh... Give me, um, just a moment to... to figure out... uh... Oh,
my God. How long have I been out? Uh... [Laughs] I'll bet... I'll bet
everybody's wondering where we are, huh? Should we go find 'em, tell 'em where
we were hiding? Huh? Okay.
Anna: Well, Henrik may well have been his father's accomplice or his victim or
-- or probably both. I, more than anyone, know the kind of havoc that Faison
could inflict on a person's mind and psyche. So Henrik's probably not fully
culpable. However, there is all this medical information that he needs.
Robert: Everything you've said so far is about Henrik and Faison.
Anna: Yes. Who else would it be about?
Robert: You, Anna. Talk to me.
[Knock at door]
Anna: Mrs. Emerson?
Emerson: And you must be Mrs. Everett-Ashton?
Anna: I am. Well, call me Anna, please. Um, this is my husband, Robert.
Emerson: As am I.
Anna: Would you take a seat, and, uh, I would love to offer you some tea if you
Emerson: If you're having.
Anna: Yes, we were just about to, yes, indeed. Thank you so much. I-I appreciate
you -- you coming here and giving us your time to talk to us. We have some
questions about a former student of yours.
Emerson: [Sighs] I am sorry, but I won't be able to answer any of your
Sam: The party was amazing. The islands are so beautiful this time of year.
Anyway, David and Steven were talking about diversifying and how it would be
better to keep your assets in several different countries with favorable banking
laws instead of just one.
Bruhl: Very sound advice. Which assets were you thinking about moving?
Sam: Oh, I had my banker from the Grand Keys put everything on this little guy.
Bruhl: Well, let's take a look, shall we?
Sam: Yes, we shall.
Bruhl: [Chuckles] Uh, and your security code?
Sam: [Gasps] Oh, I am so sorry. I couldn't possibly say it out loud. But I can
type it in for you if you'd like.
Bruhl: But all means. Here.
Sam: [Clears throat]
Sam: There you go.
Sonny: How could I not be worried? Y-You left Mike and Avery alone with the
nanny while you went to the grave site to reminisce with our dead son.
Carly: That's not what I was doing.
Sonny: Then what -- what -- what were you doing? I mean, how many times have you
called me out when I was off my meds?
Carly: I'm not "off my meds"! I don't need meds! Someone is messing with me,
Sonny: We don't have proof.
Carly: Dante traced the damn calls!
Sonny: To a phone booth -- It could have been anybody writing down the wrong
number, and that explosion you heard could've been a backfire.
Carly: So, I just imagined the scarf, and -- and I imagined the note?
Sonny: It would be a lot better if I had proof -- That way I wouldn't worry
about you as much. But there isn't any proof, Carly.
Carly: I know what I saw, Sonny! I-I saw Morgan's scarf, okay? I smelled his
cologne. And there was writing on that paper. I need you to believe me, okay?
I'm not imagining this. I need you to believe me.
Sonny: I-I don't think you're imagining it.
Carly: Thank you.
Sonny: I believe you believe these things happened.
Carly: But you don't.
Sonny: When this is over, and, God willing, Avery comes home, I need you to make
an appointment with Dr. Collins.
Mike: Dante. W-What -- W-What are you doing here?
Dante: [Sighs] Avery, you okay, honey?
Mike: We -- We must've lost track of the time.
Dante: Yeah, it's okay. That's okay. Can you -- Can you come here and see me for
a second, Avery? All right. This is my new partner Detective Chase. He's gonna
take you down to the station in a police car. Does that sound cool? That cool
with you guys?
Chase: Yeah. Yeah, of course.
Dante: Okay. He's gonna take you to see your father, okay?
Mike: W-W-Wait, wait, wait. Where are you taking her?
Chase: Ah, it's okay, Mr. Corbin. Do you remember me?
Mike: Yeah, you threw me in jail.
Chase: Uh, do you remember the other time we met, though, at the church?
Mike: Uh, church...? After the earthquake?
Chase: Yeah, yeah. I brought you to the hospital. We're buddies now.
Mike: Yeah, I wouldn't go that far.
Dante: Uh... I'm gonna stay here, talk to my grandfather for a bit. You send a
car back to get us, all right?
Chase: Yeah, of course.
Mike: She's hungry. Wait, wait a minute. W-What -- What -- What -- [Stammers]
Dante: It's okay.
Mike: Take her to the police station with -- with a total stranger?
Dante: Not a stranger, Mike. He's... He's okay.
Dante: [Sighs] Man, you gave us quite a scare taking off her last night. No one
knew where the hell you were.
Mike: Well, you just keep your noses out of my business! You know, where I take
my daughter -- That's -- That -- That's for me to decide, okay?! Courtney wanted
to see the horses, so we...
Dante: Mike, Mike, Mike...
Dante: That's not Courtney. That's your granddaughter, Avery, okay?
Mike: What are you talking about? I... That was Courtney.
Dante: Courtney died.
Dante: Courtney died a long time ago.
Mike: No! No!!
Dante: You know that --
Mike: Courtney was -- [Stammers] Courtney was here! She was -- She was here!
Dante: Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. [Pats back] Okay...
Peter: I take it this means you decided to follow up on that first e-mail
claiming to be from Henrik.
Lulu: I am reasonably confident that this is him.
Peter: And why's that?
Lulu: Look at the e-mail address he's using. I've checked it out. It's the same
one PK Sinclair uses when he corresponds with his publisher.
Peter: And since Henrik and PK Sinclair are the same person...
Lulu: If I have Henrik's e-mail address, I can trace it and find him.
Anna: I don't understand. You've come all this way. Won't you just hear us out?
Emerson: I came here to offer advice to the family of a prospective student. But
I see what is really going on here, and quite frankly, it is not the first time
this has happened.
Robert: Look -- Excuse me, but I-I'm not really following you. Uh... What -- Why
do you think we're here?
Emerson: Many of our past students have gone on to be prominent figures in the
international community -- Heads of state, of corporations, both -- Frequently
at the same time. And so I've made it a point never to engage with journalists
hoping to disparage --
Anna: Oh, we're not journalists. No, no, we're not journalists.
Emerson: What, opposition researchers, then?
Anna: No, neither.
Emerson: My rule still applies.
Robert: Uh, excuse me. What do you think you're doing, Anna?
Anna: My name is Anna Devane. I am with the World Security Bureau. The student
is a person of interest in an international crime.
Bruhl: Your asset management is somewhat limited in scope. We at Eisenschaft
Bank could most definitely accommodate you.
Sam: Good. My number-one priority is security. I would not want my financials to
get leaked on the internet or, God forbid, Wikileaks.
Bruhl: Impossible. Eisenschaft Bank has state-of-the-art security.
[Knock at door]
Bruhl: Entschuldigen sie! This is a closed... You?
Damian: Yes [Laughs] me! [Sniffs] But we've not been properly introduced. I'm
the Jackal. And you and your bank are at my mercy.
Carly: I can’t believe you’re asking me to do this.
Sonny: What do you mean? I-I see a psychiatrist. It's not a bad thing.
Carly: For 10 minutes every 3 months to check your blood work and to renew your
prescription. You're asking me to see --
Sonny: I'm -- I'm asking you to -- Just because I want to know that you're okay.
Carly: Okay, I'm telling you that someone is messing with me. They're trying to
make me doubt myself and make everyone else doubt me, too.
Sonny: We need to be on the safe side, that's all I'm saying.
Carly: Oh, my God. Okay. Really? Really? After everything we've been through?
After everything I've done for you through your bipolar episodes, you really
think I'm losing my grip on reality.
Sonny: It wouldn't be the first time. You -- You had a breakdown before when we
thought Michael was dead, and it was a delayed reaction.
Carly: That's what you think this is? You think this is a delayed reaction?
Sonny: All I know is you broke down, and you didn't think it was happening, and
you finally realized that you needed help and you got help, and you got better.
I don't want for us to -- You know, that happen again and we think you're
better, and then I-I have to send you away. I need you here, present, when Mike
and Avery come home. And if they -- I mean, you know, they don't --
Carly: Hello? [Sighs] Thank God. Thank God.
Sonny: What is it?
Carly: They found Avery. She's okay.
Sonny: [Exhales sharply]
Griffin: Look, I-I know things like hope and -- and faith aren't exactly in your
Ava: That's putting it mildly.
Griffin: But when you lose hope, Ava --
Chase: Notify Mr. Corinthos that we have his daughter, and she is safe, then
call the commissioner and FBI.
Ava: Avery? Oh! Avery! [Laughs] You are -- Oh, honey! Oh, I was so scared. Are
you all right?
Avery: Grandpa took me to see the horses.
Mike: How did you find me?
Dante: Remember that night you spent at the police station?
Mike: Uh, yeah, when your -- when your partner h-had me arrested?
Dante: [Chuckles] Yeah. We, uh... We had a nice, long chat. We never had a... a
talk like that, you and me. It was, uh, it was great.
Mike: Yeah. For company, you're, uh, not bad.
Dante: Anyway, you told me, uh, stories about the old neighborhood. We talked
about the Yankees.
Mike: Yeah, the -- the only reason there are other teams is -- is so the Yankees
could beat 'em.
Dante: So the Yankees could beat 'em. That's right.
Dante: [Sighs] And you told me, uh, one of the first jobs you had was cleaning
out the -- the stables at the racetrack.
Mike: Oh, yeah. Those horses. I, uh, I admired them. Yeah, they're... Uh, you
know, our family wasn't exactly the Rockefellers.
Dante: Yeah, I know.
Mike: [Laughs] So, you know, cleaning up after 'em, that was -- that was the
only way I could get close to 'em. Such beauties. And, uh, I was talking with
Courtney's mother, and Janine said, "Court-- Courtney loves horses, too, but we
-- we can't afford to give her... lessons."
Dante: [Sighs] Yeah, you mentioned that.
Mike: Yeah. I should take her someday.
Dante: Yeah. You know what, that sounds a great idea.
Mike: Yeah. Can we go home?
Mike: [Exhales sharply]
Anna: So, um, the man we're looking for, we think he attended your school the
year of this production, and we think he was a member of this cast.
Robert: Uh, e-excuse me, Mrs. Emerson. I'd like to talk to my colleague just for
Anna: Yeah. Would you make yourself at home, please? Please be comfortable.
Robert: What do you think you're doing showing your badge like that?
Anna: It's okay. She thought that we were gonna drag her student's name through
the mud. Now she knows we're law enforcement, she'll answer our questions.
Robert: Or she'll blab to the world that we're looking for Henrik right here.
Anna: What do you think she's gonna do, post it to Myface that international
authorities are inquiring about the murder of Julius Caesar? No. After all these
years, don't you think you can trust that I know what I'm doing?
Robert: Hey, this is my problem. I do trust you, so I know you're off your game.
This case, I feel, is starting to get under your skin.
Sam: You were saying about security?
Bruhl: How did you get in here? Our facial recognition software --
Damian: Oh, yeah, it's state-of-the-art, but, still, it is no match for me. Oh,
and, uh, don't bother with the silent alarm. It's been deactivated. All your
security cams are on a loop, uh, all your electronic locks are open -- But no
one can tell. The monitors still say everything's normal.
Bruhl: This is impossible. The Eisenschaft Bank has never been robbed.
Sam: Until today.
Bruhl: You cannot remove any material assets from the vault without alerting
witnesses, and any electronic transfers of funds can be traced.
Damian: Yeah, how right you are. You know, no matter how careful you try to hide
it, money always leaves a trail -- Even yours, Herr Bruhl.
Damian: Yes. Oh. You embezzled 10 million euro from the sultan of Danai.
Bruhl: No, that's not true!
Damian: Oh, oh, I stand corrected. [Laughs] 20 million.
Sam: [Stammers] That was very smart, moving half of that to Panama.
Damian: Uh, but, oh, you got lazy. You should have done a better job of hiding
the 70 million rubles that you appropriated from one [Gasps] Yuri Grinkov.
[Laughs] But, you know, I'm sure Mr. Grinkov will be thrilled that his wandering
money h-has been found in your personal accounts.
Bruhl: No. You can't --
Sam: Oh, he can. And he will... Unless we get your full cooperation.
Anna: I'm a seasoned operative with years of experience. I know what I'm doing.
Emerson: [Clears throat] Excuse me. Is everything all right?
Anna: Yes. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry.
Emerson: Is one of you the good cop and the other the bad? You're both so polite
I can't tell which is which.
Robert: I thought it was pretty obvious that I'm the good cop.
Anna: Uh, I do apologize, Mrs. Emerson. Um, what my partner and I were doing is,
uh -- You see, this investigation is classified, and we were trying to find a
loophole whereby we could share more information with you, but alas...
Emerson: I understand. I've read all of John le Carré's novels.
Robert: Haven't we all?
Anna: W-What I can tell you, though, in all certainty is that we do not mean any
harm to this student of yours. I am not out to ruin his name at all, but I do
need to question him on a very urgent matter.
Emerson: Very well. Though I don't know how much help I can be. I-I've not kept
up with any of my students over the years. But I-I will try.
Anna: Okay. I believe that when this student attended your school, he was using
another name. Do you remember Henri Francois?
Emerson: Henri? [Laughing] Of course. Oh, now I wish I had let you say so in the
beginning. We could have saved ourselves time and difficulty. I will happily
tell you anything I can remember about sweet Henri.
Emerson: Oh. Yes, I am certain he has done nothing wrong.
Anna: Okay. So, um, in this photograph of the cast, could you tell me which one
was the young man?
Peter: You could trace Henrik's e-mail? Are you gonna do that?
Lulu: Well, my friend Spinelli tried tracing it a few months back. He hit a dead
end. If he can't trace it, it's probably untraceable.
Peter: So, what's your next move?
Lulu: In this e-mail, Henrik says that he wants to meet up with me so that he
can share his side of the story.
Peter: And are you going to take him up on the offer?
Sonny: Hey. Hey, baby. You okay?
Avery: Yes, Daddy. I love you. Come here. Come to Daddy.
Griffin: Hey, I checked her out myself, Sonny. Uh, she's fine. She's a little
dehydrated. A few cups of water, she'll be all right.
Sonny: All right.
Carly: Well, we have plenty of water at home, don't we, sweetheart? Yeah.
Sonny: Where's my dad?
Chase: Uh, Dante stayed behind with him while I brought Avery here.
Sonny: What do you mean "behind"?
Chase: At the stables -- The equestrian park.
Ava: Apparently they were there all night. We need to have a little discussion
about your father.
Sonny: No, we don't. We got Avery back. We're fine. Everything -- Let's leave it
Ava: The hell I will.
Sonny: Okay. Can you take her?
Carly: Yeah! Want to get some more water?
Sonny: Go, go, go.
Ava: I was willing to look the other way when Mike destroyed a piece at the
Sonny: When you say "look the other way" like that, you pretty much blackmailed
me into having Avery stay with you the night? Is that what you're saying?
Ava: We need to make sure that Mike doesn't do something like this again.
Sonny: What are you suggesting?
Sam: The Jackal has a copy of all of your financial information -- All the money
you embezzled, how you spent it, where you were hiding it.
Damian: All right. I see you, uh, treated yourself to a hunting expedition last
year, Herr Bruhl. In exchange for a significant bribe, you were able to
trophy-shoot elephant and cheetah -- Both on the endangered species list.
Sam: Now, that's disgusting.
Damian: As penance, you have just made a donation anonymously in the amount 3
million euro to the wildlife preservation fund.
Bruhl: 3 million?
Sam: Make it 4.
Damian: Ah, done. Let's see what other charities can benefit from Herr Bruhl's
Jason: Jackal, we still need to find Henrik Faison.
Damian: [Clears throat]
Emerson: [Gasps] Right there -- That was Henri. Such a handsome young man.
Anna: Oh, he's in the back. His face is a bit obscured.
Emerson: Yes, that was Henri. He was always quite shy, especially about being
Robert: And yet he signed on to be the second lead.
Emerson: Brutus is the lead in "Julius Caesar." As an Australian, I can't expect
you to know that, of course.
Anna: Mm. Honestly, Robert. So, tell me, why would a boy as shy as Henri -- Why
-- Why would he take on such a significant role?
Emerson: For Henri, the theater was where he felt the safest, where he was most
comfortable to emerge from his shell.
Anna: Why do you think that was?
Emerson: I think he relished becoming someone else, to take on a new name and
identity other than his own.
Peter: Are you having second thoughts about meeting up with Henrik?
Lulu: No. No, I want to take the meeting. But after what happened with Nathan
and Faison, I don't know that I should do it by myself.
Peter: So what are you gonna do?
Lulu: Henrik's not wanted for a crime, but he is a person of interest, so I will
have to bring the PCPD into the loop sooner rather than later.
Peter: And what's the problem with that?
Lulu: It's just that I, uh, haven't told my husband what I'm up to -- Yet. Yet.
Sonny: You okay, Dad?
Mike: Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Sonny: Yeah? Okay.
Mike: Uh, I thought -- I thought you were taking me home.
Dante: I-I-I am, Mike, I'm going to. I just have to make sure people didn't have
questions for us here first, okay?
Chase: Ah, we're all good on our end.
Ava: I wouldn't be so sure about that.
Griffin: Oh, come on, Ava. Mike is clearly upset and disoriented. Can't this
wait till tomorrow?
Avery: Can we go see the horses tomorrow?
Mike: Oh, sure, sweetheart! Sure we can. [Stammers] Courtney and I waited all
night to -- to see the horses, but -- but I guess they went somewhere else, huh?
Ava: Who the hell is Courtney?
Sonny: Mike's daughter -- My -- My sister. She died.
Carly: She was also Spencer's mom.
Ava: And Mike thinks Avery is her?
Dante: Remember, Mike, I told you that's not Courtney. That's Avery, all right?
Mike: Uh... Yeah. Uh... Avery. Avery. [Laughing] Yeah, right. Can we, uh... Can
we -- I'm so tired. I need to lie down.
Sonny: That's a great idea, Dad. Come on, Avery. Let's go home.
Ava: Oh, no. No. Absolutely not.
Damian: Well, no wonder Herr Bruhl spotted me as an imposter. Henrik Faison is
one of his personal banking clients.
Jason: Is there an address for Henrik or an alias?
Damian: Uh, no, but -- but a recent deposit was made. A payment for the
publication of "The Severed Branch." That money's already been sent out in a
Damian: Um... A bank in Iceland. No doubt the money's in a maze to thwart
attempts at tracing it. [Inhales sharply] Henrik is thorough about covering his
Jason: Just focus on the records. We need to know what name he's using.
Damian: No, nothing so far. But would you like to see his picture? Behold.
Emerson: If I had to guess, Henri enjoyed pretending to be other people because
his home life was troubled. I'm afraid his father had very little use for him.
He dreaded going home on holidays. He practically begged us to let him stay. I
wish we could have just let him stay.
Anna: Thank you very much, Mrs. Emerson. You've been so helpful.
Emerson: I have to say, I could never rid myself of the impression that Henri
would have been a much happier child if only he'd had a loving mother in his
life. Such a special boy.
Robert: Mrs. Emerson, I want to thank you very much again for your time.
Emerson: Oh. It was my pleasure. Much to my surprise, I must say. I do hope you
are who you say you are.
Anna: Oh, yes. Yes, we are.
Robert: [Clears throat] I don't suppose that you might have any, um, class
photographs floating around? You know, so that we can get a-a better identity on
-- on this boy.
Emerson: I wish I did, but with so many students coming and going year after
year, I-I never held on to those.
Anna: It's all right. We can --
Robert: I'll get it.
Anna: We -- We can enhance the photograph and -- and -- and see if we can get a
clearer image. I-Is there anything at all physical that you remember about the
boy that kind of set him apart from his classmates?
Emerson: I knew him when he was so young. I-I don't know if he grew up to be
short or tall, fat or thin, bald or with a full head of hair.
Anna: Anything, though -- Something that would have distinguished such a-a
Emerson: Well, I'm not sure this will help, but he had the most emotive, brown
eyes. That's what made him so effective on the stage. It was those eyes.
Peter: I have to say, Lulu, I'm a little surprised.
Lulu: By your tone, not in a good way.
Peter: Well, it's just you've never struck me as the type of person that needed
to ask permission from their spouse to do something.
Lulu: I don't need Dante's permission, but I do need to make him aware.
Peter: Well, I'm sure you can persuade him.
Lulu: Under normal circumstances, yes, but with Avery missing, I'm just not sure
that now is the right time to broach the subject.
Peter: Well, I'm sure you'll find a work-around.
Lulu: But will I find it fast enough? Henrik could go underground, and then who
knows if I will ever get another shot?
Bartender: Order for Falconeri.
Lulu: I have to take the food. Thank you for the talk.
Peter: Lulu, just, uh, be careful. Henrik could be more dangerous than you've
given him credit for.
Anna: That was very productive -- Mrs. Emerson. We now know that Henrik Faison
has brown eyes. That narrows it all down quite a bit.
Robert: Yeah, well, that of course means if Henrik and Henri are indeed the same
Anna: Yes, they are. I'm certain.
Robert: I think it's time you told me the truth here. Now, what is this case
really all about?
Anna: What? I'm not gonna defend my investigation to you. If you want to help,
that's great. Otherwise, just don't.
Robert: Stop dodging the bullet. Now, what does this child really mean to you?
Ava: My daughter will not be going home with the man who kidnapped her.
Dante: Detective, can you, uh, help out here?
Chase: No problem. Avery, I am gonna take you to the interrogation room, and you
are gonna question me. How's that?
Sonny: Okay, Ava, you listen to me right now. My father did not kidnap Avery.
Ava: She was gone overnight. What else would you call it?
Griffin: Look, A-Ava, I'm sure Sonny and -- and Carly understand, even share,
your concern, but Mike didn't mean a-any harm to Avery.
Carly: And you also know that Mike isn't well.
Ava: Well, of course I do. We all know that Mike has dementia. That's exactly my
point. And my child is not spending one more night under the same roof as that
man. Avery's coming home with me.
On the next "General Hospital" --
Robert (to Anna): He’s not just Faison’s son, he’s also yours.
Valentin (to Peter): Nina is onto you.
Nina (to Maxie): Hey! What are you doing here?
Michael (to Nelle): Well, I have reason to be optimistic.
Ava (to Sonny): One more step and your whole family will pay.
Damian (to Jason): If you touch that we’re dead.
