Julian: How'd you do that?
Scott: Well, I convinced the court that, uh, this town despises you, and it would be impossible to get a jury that would be impartial. You know, come to think of it, it didn't take a lot of convincing.
Julian: You sure do have a way with words, Scotty.
Scott: Yes, I do, thank you. Now the only thing you have to worry about is Alexis. I mean, she really hates you for what happened to her daughter.
Julian: Our daughter.
Scott: Well, she almost died when Olivia chucked her off the bridge.
Julian: Yeah, I know what Olivia did.
Scott: So we don't know if Alexis is here to save you or throw you to the coyotes. We don't know which Alexis is gonna show up.
Kristina: I'm glad Sam's finally getting her appetite back.
Kristina: It's a sign that she's going to make a full recovery.
Alexis: Here's to that, right? Okay, so, she's gonna need some rest, so we're all gonna have to take shifts babysitting Danny and Scout.
Kristina: And Monica's going to help with that, too.
Alexis: Moll? Anything wrong?
Molly: I'm just concerned.
Alexis: Anything in particular?
Molly: Well, Julian's trial starts today --
Alexis: And here we go.
Kristina: You can't blame us for being concerned.
Alexis: Et tu, Kristina?
Kristina: Isn't the prosecution calling you as their first witness?
Alexis: Well, I don't know that they're calling me as their first witness, but I was, uh -- I was told that I would testify early.
Kristina: What are you going to say?
Alexis: It depends what they ask me.
Molly: Mom, please don't even think about saving Julian.
Kristina: Molly's right. I mean, after everything that Julian's done, especially to you, he deserves to be in prison for life.
Valentin: I am so glad we could have lunch today.
Charlotte: Me too.
Valentin: You don't mind missing camp, do you?
Charlotte: Lila's Kids is fun, but I'd rather be with you, Papa.
Charlotte: Can we go out to Wyndemere to see the horses?
Valentin: Of course, if that's what you'd like.
Charlotte: Where will the horses live if Spencer takes Wyndemere away from you?
[Knock on door]
Kiki: Mom, it's me.
Ava: Uh, just a second, please. Hey.
Ava: Oh. Dr. Munro, hi. This is a surprise.
Griffin: A welcome one, I hope.
Ava: Are you two here to take me to Julian's trial? Because he knows I'm not going and for obvious reasons.
Kiki: No, that is not why we're here. How was your group therapy session?
Ava: Um, it was interesting. And thank you for thinking it could help. Whether it will remains to be seen. You're not trying to whisk me off to another one, are you?
Kiki: [Laughs] No, we were thinking of something a little more fun.
Griffin: Exactly. We were hoping you would come out and join us for lunch.
Elizabeth: Hayden, it's the bank. They said it was something about suspicious activity with the hospital's accounts. They need to speak with you personally. It was something you set up yesterday.
Hayden: All right. Thank you. Hi, this is, uh -- this is Hayden Barnes. Yes, I did, uh, set up "White Hat Limited Medical Supplies" yesterday. We're -- we're switching medical suppliers. U-um...I -- you know, I-I don't -- I don't know. I'm not in my office, and, um... I'm sorry, what? N-n-no, those transfers need to start immediately, okay? I'll call you back. Goodbye. [Slams phone] Um, uh, sorry. Red tape.
Elizabeth: Wait, we're changing medical suppliers?
Finn: What's with the third degree from the bank?
Hayden: Okay, I don't know! Stop badgering me!
Scott: Tell me again what happened after you got that text from Alexis saying that Sam was in the ER.
Julian: I got to the hospital just in time to hear that Sam got sick, because of what my psycho sister did to her.
Scott: And what was her reaction?
Julian: Well, she was upset, obviously, Scotty. I mean, our daughter may have been dying. Hm, actually, it was my fault, you know? Indirectly, at least. I tried to talk to Alexis, but, uh...
Scott: Well, could you be as specific as possible?
Julian: Well, specifically, she said... [Sighs] She said she didn't want to hear anything I had to say.
Scott: That's it?
Julian: That's it.
Scott: But you said that you ran into her again.
Julian: Briefly. Next morning, I asked her how Sam was doing. She said she was doing much better, but that they still had to piece together everything that had happened. [Sighs] And I made the mistake of...telling Alexis I wanted to see our daughter.
Scott: Yeah? What are you remembering?
Julian: She was cold, Scotty. She... she shut me out completely.
Scott: [Sighs] That's what I was afraid of.
Julian: You don't actually think that she would try to harm my case, do you?
Scott: We'll see.
Julian: We need to enter a guilty plea.
Alexis: The prosecution has declared me a hostile witness, which means that the DA's allowed to ask me leading questions, which means most of my answers are gonna require a "yes" or a "no" response.
Kristina: Mom, we know it's not that simple.
Molly: You are an expert attorney who has cross-examined hundreds of witnesses. You of all people know how just one word...
Kristina: Even a yes or a no.
Molly: ...Can convey a world of meaning and color your testimony. I --
Alexis: You both are giving me way too much credit.
Kristina: I don't think so. I need you to promise me -- promise us -- that you will not help Julian.
Alexis: I promise you that I will tell the truth.
Molly: So that means you are planning to help him.
Alexis: Impugning your mother's integrity is not becoming.
Kristina: Can you blame us? We hate Julian. Hate him.
Molly: I mean, after what he did to you -- and what he did to my father.
Kristina: And my father. Or how he went after Duke? A-and if I'm going to be completely honest...
Alexis: Why stop now?
Kristina: ...Morgan died because of him.
Alexis: Morgan's death was a tragedy, but Julian was not responsible for that.
Kristina: Not directly responsible. Just like he wasn't directly responsible for Olivia pushing Sam off the bridge so she gave birth in the snow. But Julian knew that Olivia was in Port Charles, and he didn't warn anyone. That makes him a proximate cause. And no one believes that sob story except for you, about how she was threatening --
Alexis: Guys, it's clear to me that you think I'm wrong for giving Julian the benefit of the doubt.
Molly: No, no, no, no. See, the problem isn't that you gave Julian the benefit of the doubt in the past, Mom. It's that you still do.
Valentin: Uh, Spencer's not gonna take Wyndemere.
Charlotte: Before he left to go back to school, he said it belonged to him. That you're a villain and an interloper.
Valentin: Did he say that? Okay, what do you think?
Charlotte: I know you're not a villain. And I don't even know what an interloper is.
Valentin: An interloper is somebody who takes cuts in line, somebody who takes a turn that doesn't belong to them, somebody who takes something that doesn't belong to them. Something like that.
Charlotte: You didn't do that.
Valentin: No. My father left me Wyndemere and a lot of other things in his will. Now Spencer's upset because he thinks it all belongs to him, and that's why he's gonna take me to court.
Charlotte: Isn't he too young for that?
Valentin: He has some grown-ups helping him out, and he's gonna sue me. But he's gonna lose.
Charlotte: Are you sure?
Valentin: Yes. And actually, now that he's in school, I think it's about time that all of this just goes away, and that's exactly what I'm gonna make happen.
Griffin: I understand. You don't think you're ready for an outing.
Ava: No, I don't think -- I know I'm not ready.
Griffin: Well, in that case, I brought you some books that will hopefully help you decide whether to continue with therapy or choose another path.
Ava: Well, that's very thoughtful of you. I-I'm sure I'll get to them right away.
Griffin: I can't stress the importance of perseverance. I mean, you can't give up, especially now that you're between stages.
Ava: What stages are those?
Griffin: Well, now that the initial shock is gone, you have to learn how to manage living your new life.
Ava: I wouldn't exactly call this "living."
Griffin: Then start calling it that. Change your perspective. The right outlook can lead you to miracles, Ava.
Ava: Thank you. If you don't mind...
Kiki: Mom. You can't just stay here all day, every day.
Ava: On the contrary, darling, I'm certain I can.
Kiki: And yet you won't.
Ava: Is that right?
Kiki: 'Cause I'm gonna get you out of this apartment if it kills me.
Ava: I don-- I just don't understand why.
Kiki: Because I want to, and you owe me. I don't want to go into the mistakes that were made or the promises that you made to make amends. I just want you to join me and Griffin for our favorite burger at Kelly's, okay? Can you do that for me?
Hayden: I'm sorry, I-I, um -- I didn't mean to snap like that.
Finn: It's okay. Are you okay?
Hayden: I guess I'm just, um...Bridezilla.
Elizabeth: It happens.
Finn: Does it? For how long?
Hayden: I just have so many plates spinning in the air right now, you know, with the wedding tomorrow, and the guy from the bank was being a jerk. I-I-I should get to work.
Finn: Yeah, I guess I will, too. You're getting married tomorrow. Be good to yourself. Try to be as stress-free as possible.
Hayden: I work here, so...
Finn: I know. But just try to breathe. Try it. You might like it.
Hayden: I'm, uh -- I'm sorry about being so defensive, you know, before.
Elizabeth: It's okay. Weddings are stressful. But I know you love Finn an awful lot, so what's going on with you?
Hayden: What do you mean? Nothing.
Elizabeth: No, there's definitely something going on. Is it the baby?
Hayden: Oh, the baby is fine.
Elizabeth: But you're not.
Hayden: I think everything's about to fall apart.
Scott: Aw, come on. Is this this cockamamy thing that you're trying to protect Alexis?
Julian: Scotty, I have hurt her way too much.
Julian: All right, forcing her to testify and reliving every terrible thing that's happened, it just doesn't seem fair. Scotty, listen to me. I can't ask her to go through that one more time, you understand?
Scott: No, I don't. You listen to me. Alexis will get up on that stand, and whatever happens, she'll be fine. But if you don't put up a fight, they're gonna put you in a monkey cage for the rest of your life.
Julian: I suppose you're right.
Scott: I am right. Now let's hope that Alexis is not upset too much over her daughter's illness, and she doesn't tear you apart on the stand.
Bailiff: All rise. Court is now in session, the Honorable Judge Amber Chua presiding.
Judge Chua: Please be seated. This is docket number TD-13865 -- the people of the state of New York versus Julian Jerome. I will now hear opening arguments.
Alexis: Can we table this, please?
Molly: Not yet. Mom, I-I really hope you won't hate me for saying this, but Julian has done nothing but bring you down.
Alexis: "Hate" with you is always off the table. "Resent," on the other hand, might still be a little bit in play.
Kristina: You can't resent her for being honest.
Alexis: I don't resent her for being honest. I resent her for being right. Julian has brought me lower than I ever thought possible.
Molly: Then why do you still love him?
Alexis: I don't know how I feel. I know that your sad little glances, while they're very well-intended, are starting to piss me off.
Kristina: Let me just say one more thing.
Kristina: You just got your career back. Don't damage your reputation, or your sobriety, or your heart by reaching out to that man and helping him again.
Alexis: Aren't you supposed to register today at PCU?
Alexis: Yeah, well, you guys better go and stop badgering me.
Molly: Well, when she's right, she's right.
Kristina: [Sighs] You know what, I'm actually looking forward to going back to school full-time.
Molly: Yeah. You have a clean slate. No bad memories, and no Parker.
Kristina: Over that and moving on.
Alexis: Good! Glad to hear that. Now go.
Kristina: Okay, we're going, we're going.
Molly: Mom...we really didn't mean to badger you. We just care, that's all.
Kristina: Yeah. We know you'll do what's right.
Molly: Love you.
Alexis: Love you.
Elizabeth: Why would everything fall apart?
Hayden: I just... have this horrible feeling that I don't deserve this.
Elizabeth: Hayden, of course you do.
Hayden: Come on, Elizabeth. Just because we're getting along better now doesn't change who I was when I came to town.
Elizabeth: That was a long time ago.
Hayden: A lifetime ago, and then... and then I met Finn and that...changed me. Love made me a better person, and now all I want --
Elizabeth: What? What? What is it?
Hayden: [Voice breaking] All I want is a happy life. For Finn, and for our baby, but you know, so much could go wrong.
Elizabeth: Um... well, I don't know if this is gonna help, but we all get anxious about the future. "What if he falls off the wagon, what if I can't save him again, what if I find some new fabulous way to screw everything up?"
Hayden: [Laughs] It's like you read my diary -- not that I keep one.
Elizabeth: I know because I lived with those fears. And I can promise you that all of those feelings and emotions are gonna swirl around you and come together, and then you'll be married to the man you love. And you're gonna be fine. And I'm still gonna throw you that baby shower.
Hayden: Thank you. But you don't have to --
Elizabeth: I want to... 'cause you're my sister.
Hayden: Half sister -- let's not get carried away.
Elizabeth: Oh, no, please, I would never.
Hayden: I just wish that...
Hayden: That we knew each other better.
Elizabeth: We will! We have all the time in the world for that.
Finn: Yeah. Where's the card? What did I do with that card? Oh, well. She'll know what it means.
Hayden: Finn? How -- [Sighs] A cactus. Thank you.
Finn: Yeah. A cactus.
Hayden: What's wrong?
Finn: Well... yesterday when you went to get the plane tickets to Africa... ...you went to see your father.
Hayden: Yes, I-I did.
Finn: Why didn't you tell me?
Kiki: No, no, Mom. It's gonna be fine. You'll see. Go, go, go.
Valentin: What is it? What's the matter?
Charlotte: That lady!
Valentin: Charlotte, don't point.
Charlotte: What happened to her face?
Valentin: She looks like that, because she was hurt very badly, and I think it was difficult for her to come outside, because she was afraid somebody would react just the way you just did.
Charlotte: I'm sorry, Papa.
Valentin: I know. But it's rude to point. And I think you need to make it right.
Ava: This was supposed to be helpful?
Griffin: Ava, I am so sorry.
Ava: I don't want to hear it. I don't want to hear your point of view on my journey. You keep trying to fix me. I cannot be fixed. What I am is a freak who scares little girls. I've accepted it. Why can't you accept it?
Kiki: Mom, it's -- don't blame Griffin, okay? He was just trying to help.
Ava: Help me? Help me how? By bringing my worst fears to life?
Kiki: I'm sorry, okay?
Ava: I know that you're trying to help, both of you. I cannot be here, though, so you stay and you enjoy yourselves, all right?
Griffin: Ava, why don't -- why don't we get takeout? We can all leave.
Ava: I feel the eyes looking at me. I cannot stay here another minute.
Kiki: Okay, why don't we get the takeout? It's Kelly's. It's gonna take 10 minutes tops.
Ava: Okay. Will you order for me, okay? I'm gonna go outside.
Kiki: Okay. [Sighs]
Charlotte: I'm sorry I pointed at you. I didn't understand, and I got scared. But my papa told me that you've been hurt.
Ava: Yes, I was.
Charlotte: My papa wanted me to apologize. So did I. I hope you feel better soon.
Ava: Thank you.
Valentin: Ma petite, go back inside. I'll be right there.
Valentin: I apologize again.
Ava: No, it's okay. She reacted the same way I react whenever I see my face -- what's left of it.
Valentin: She did hit on something, though.
Ava: [Chuckles] That I should wait until dark before roaming the streets?
Valentin: She wants you to feel better soon. You can, you know. Sooner than you think.
Hayden: I, uh -- I hadn't seen my father in such a long time, I felt like I owed it to him and myself to make peace.
Finn: After everything he's done to you?
Hayden: I'm not making excuses. He did what he did, and he was wrong, but he's the only father I've ever known, and he shaped so much of who I am.
Finn: Who you were. You're so much better than him, Hayden.
Hayden: The point is I'm getting married, and he's my dad. And I know he's not gonna walk me down the aisle, but I had to tell him.
Finn: Of course. Why didn't you tell me?
Hayden: I don't know. Probably because you would have insisted on going with me and being all supportive.
Finn: Oh, you don't know that, you know, and... and would that have been such a bad thing?
Hayden: Of course not. It's wonderful, and I love you for it, but I just had to see him on my own. I had to -- I had to talk to him one-on-one, alone.
Finn: May I ask about what?
Hayden: I had questions about what he did and other things only he could provide the answer to.
Finn: Did you get the answers you needed?
Hayden: Yes and no. At the very least, he made me see something very clearly.
Jared: Excuse me. Hi, is, uh, Hayden Barnes around?
Elizabeth: Her office is on the first floor.
Jared: Oh, great. Thank you.
Elizabeth: Are you a friend of hers?
Jared: Oh, yes. From a long, long time ago.
Judge Chua: DA Campbell, you may call your first witness.
Campbell: Thank you, Your Honor. The people call Alexis Davis.
Bailiff: Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth?
Alexis: I do.
Campbell: Before we begin, the people wish to remind the court that the witness and the defendant were once married. The motion has been granted to treat her as a hostile witness.
Judge Chua: So noted. Proceed.
Campbell: Ms. Davis, Julian Jerome is accused of several horrible crimes. Do you want him to pay for those crimes? Or would you prefer he goes free?
Scott: Objection, Your Honor.
Campbell: Your Honor, I'm merely trying to assess the witness' bias.
Scott: Facts have no bias, Your Honor. So perhaps the district attorney should stick to them.
Campbell: I just want to know how hostile my witness is.
Judge Chua: The witness may answer.
Alexis: As an officer of the court, I want to see justice done above all.
Campbell: And in this case, what does it mean to you exactly?
Scott: Objection, Your Honor! Asked and answered.
Judge Chua: Sustained. Move on, Mr. Campbell.
Campbell: Very well. Ms. Davis, when did you first meet Olivia St. John, aka Olivia Jerome?
Alexis: I was attending an AA meeting. Olivia Jerome introduced herself as Liv Lowry. We had a brief conversation, and then she, uh, offered to be my sponsor.
Campbell: And you agreed?
Alexis: I did. I was new to the process and --
Campbell: Just answer the question.
Alexis: Yes, I agreed.
Campbell: And once you established this relationship, did you have occasion to take Ms. Lowry, as you came to know her, to your home?
Alexis: I did.
Campbell: Where your ex-husband happened to be.
Campbell: Did he seem pleased that you found a sponsor so quickly?
Alexis: I wouldn't say that, no.
Campbell: In fact, was the defendant not suddenly adamant that you rely on him as a sponsor instead of a stranger, even though that is often how a 12-step program works?
Alexis: That's about right, yes.
Campbell: And in those conversations, did he ever once mention that this stranger was, in fact, his own sister?
Campbell: So he concealed the fact that a psychopathic criminal was getting closer to you every day.
Campbell: And because the defendant failed to warn you, in fact chose to deceive you, isn't it true, Ms. Davis, that Olivia Jerome nearly killed you?
Elizabeth: Do you want me to call Hayden and let her know you're here?
Jared: Oh, please, don't. I hate it when people bother me at work. It's just -- I know she's getting married tomorrow, and, uh, I wanted to drop off this card.
Elizabeth: Oh, that's nice of you. Are you sure she wouldn't want to see you?
Jared: Yeah, I have to get back to work, but could you do me a favor and, uh, makes sure she gets that stat? That's how you say "ASAP" around here, right?
Elizabeth: I'll make sure she gets it.
Jared: You're an angel.
Hayden: Sorry I didn't tell you. I just -- I just wanted closure, that's all.
Finn: No, I get it, and for the record, I would've respected your wish to go there on your own.
Hayden: You would have?
Finn: Absolutely. Eventually.
Finn: You know, the thing is, Hayden, I wasted so much time lying about my addiction, denying it to you, to everyone, that I just don't want there to be any more secrets. I'm -- I'm here for you. And I can handle anything you throw at me.
[Knock at door]
Elizabeth: Oh, hi. Sorry to interrupt.
Finn: No, it's -- it's okay. I...have some place I have to be anyway. Patients and everything.
Elizabeth: Yeah, aren't they the worst?
Finn: I'll see you.
Elizabeth: Are you feeling any better?
Hayden: Mm, yeah, but not completely. Anyway, um, I still have to call the bank.
Elizabeth: I-I just wanted to give this to you. An old friend dropped it off.
Elizabeth: I don't know. I didn't get his name.
Hayden: Hm. Jared.
Valentin: If you decide to pursue treatment, let me know. I'll make the necessary arrangements.
Ava: Well, why don't you let me contact this clinic by myself?
Valentin: Because all the money in the world won't gain you access, not without a referral. And I'm the only person you know that can get you one.
Ava: Wow, I really admire your generosity of spirit.
Valentin: Let's call it enlightened self-interest, shall we? Now, I've seen these doctors work, and they perform miracles, and they can do it for you, too. You don't have to live like this, not if you don't want to.
Ava: You know ordinarily, I might jump at that chance. But the price that you're asking, recanting my statement and letting you get away with Nikolas' murder, that is too high a price.
Valentin: Well, let's hope you change your mind some day. For your sake, I hope it's some day soon.
Kristina: I noticed that you were cross-checking your other classes with TJ's schedule?
Molly: Well, what do you expect? TJ and I barely see each other as it is. Oh, no!
Kristina: Let me guess. You read it wrong, and you booked all of your classes during TJ's free periods.
Molly: Almost as bad. Professor Devilbiss is on sabbatical this semester.
Kristina: What was she supposed to be teaching?
Molly: "Women, Wit, and Politics in Fiction from Rebecca West to now." I was so excited about that class! This is a total bummer.
Kristina: Maybe we can check a "Grade the Prof" site and see who the replacement is. Do you have a name?
Molly: Um, no, I don't see one. Oh, here we go. Oh, crap!
Kristina: Molly, what's wrong?
Scott: Objection, Your Honor!
Judge Chua: Grounds?
Scott: The DA's question, it calls for speculation.
Judge Chua: Sustained. DA Campbell, refine your questions.
Campbell: My apologies, Your Honor. Withdrawn. Ms. Davis, during the weeks after you first met Olivia St. John, how often did you see her?
Campbell: As your sponsor.
Campbell: And during those weeks, did the defendant grow more distracted and upset?
Alexis: Compared to what?
Campbell: His usual demeanor.
Alexis: The defendant is a, uh... well, to say the least, is a man of many moods.
Campbell: I'll rephrase. During those weeks, did you suspect he was hiding something from you?
Alexis: I... yes.
Campbell: And to establish the larger timeframe, this occurred mere months after you testified in this court that Mr. Jerome held a knife to your throat, correct?
Scott: Oh, come on! Your Honor, come on, come on! Objection!
Campbell: These are established facts, Your Honor.
Judge Chua: Objection overruled. The witness may answer.
Alexis: Yes, I testified to that.
Campbell: Thank you. I'll be coming back to that in a moment. But for now, I'd like to return to the period after the witness met Olivia St. John. Ms. Davis, at one point the defendant's son, Leo, was rushed to the hospital, wasn't he?
Campbell: Court depositions from various interviews will show Mr. Jerome feared that Olivia staged the incident in order to "demonstrate her reach." In other words, to warn him that she could, and would, hurt his entire family, including you.
Alexis: If you say so. I wasn't at any of those depositions.
Campbell: Once the defendant had proof that Olivia could target his entire family, that she was a measurable threat, did he warn you?
Campbell: At any time before Olivia Jerome took you hostage, did the defendant tell you the truth about her?
Ava: Look, I appreciate what you tried to do for me today.
Kiki: I'm sorry it was such a disaster.
Ava: It's...it's okay. You know, maybe someday soon, I'll look back and realize that, uh, a child overreacting to the sight of me like that isn't exactly the end of the world. It didn't kill me... must've made me stronger.
Griffin: Now, if you would have just started the day with an attitude like that...
Ava: Wait, what is that? Do I detect an "I told you so"?
Griffin: Oh, I'm just trying to reach out to you in a language you understand. [Laughs]
Ava: Thank you. You've been very kind to me, and... it's actually a little annoying, if I'm being honest. [Laughs] Well, if you don't mind, I think I'll sit back and read one of your guides to a healthier and happier life.
Griffin: Oh. Good, I, uh... I hope you find one of them helpful.
Ava: Well, I'll either learn something or fall asleep. Either way, I win.
Ava: I would like to be alone, so I... I don't mean to kick you out, but I'm kicking you out.
Kiki: As you wish. Hey, um... I saw Valentin talking to you today at Kelly's.
Ava: He was just apologizing for his little girl.
Kiki: Are you sure you're gonna be okay?
Ava: Yeah. You know something? I'm doing better than I expected. We'll chat soon.
Kiki: Okay. I love you.
Finn: Hi, Elizabeth.
Elizabeth: Oh. Hello, Dr. Finn.
Finn: Please, Elizabeth, we're about to be semi-related. Just "Doctor" is fine.
Finn: You can call me anything you want. I just... wanted to let you know how happy I am that you're gonna be Hayden's maid of honor.
Elizabeth: Well, I am happy to do it. It's gonna be a beautiful day.
Finn: Mm. Hey, you know, this is... this is -- this is your fault. I mean, if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be getting married tomorrow.
Elizabeth: How's that?
Finn: You remember when the hospital was on lockdown during that bomb threat, and I was in full-blown withdrawal, and you could've went straight to Monica. And that would've been the end of me and the end of my career, and then I wouldn't even have been here, and I wouldn't have been with Hayden.
Elizabeth: Or maybe you would. Who can say? But what I can say is I am looking forward to having you as my brother-in-law.
Finn: [Laughing] Back at you. Okay, I'm gonna go.
Finn: I got something to do.
Hayden: Yes, this Hayden Barnes. We spoke earlier. You had, um, some questions about a recurring transfer from GH to a new account, White Hat Limited Medical Supplies. I set it up yesterday. Yes, um... I have some adjustments to make.
Kristina: Who's teaching the class? Marquis de Sade?
Molly: No, um... it's a visiting professor...
Molly: I'm so sorry. The professor is, um... Parker.
Campbell: When your daughter with the defendant, Samantha Morgan, nearly died because Olivia Jerome left her to give birth in a ravine next to a bridge, that's when you and your son-in-law, Jason Morgan, began to figure out the connection between Julian and Olivia Jerome?
Alexis: In part, yes.
Campbell: And you went to the police?
Campbell: And you did all this without Julian's help?
Alexis: Well...he --
Campbell: Ms. Davis, was the defendant, even at this late juncture, honest with you about who Olivia Jerome was? Did he drop a hint? Leave a note? Any clue of any kind to warn you?
Campbell: Tell me, Ms. Davis. If the defendant had been honest with you at any time, would you have wound up on that bridge fighting for your life?
Scott: Objection, Your Honor! This calls for some kind of a crystal ball to look into and find some alternate timeline!
Judge Chua: I'll allow it.
Campbell: Ms. Davis...
Alexis: I don't know.
Campbell: Was the defendant covering for Olivia Jerome at every opportunity -- yes or no?
Campbell: Was the defendant, by his actions, making himself Olivia Jerome's accomplice -- yes or no?
Alexis: She was coercing him.
Campbell: Was he acting as her accomplice -- yes or no?!
Alexis: I can't answer that. There are extenuating --
Campbell: Ms. Davis!! If the defendant had told you the truth, could that night on the bridge have been prevented?
Alexis: I don't know! May -- [Sighs] Maybe.
Campbell: I'm sorry? Did you just say it's possible?
Alexis: Yes. It's possible.
Griffin: How long are we gonna hang out out here?
Kiki: I can't it help it. I'm worried. My mom... she used to be bulletproof. Indestructible. And now... she runs away when a child cries?
Griffin: Hey, look... two days ago, Ava was shut in, devoting herself to day drinking and self pity. In the past 24 hours, she's been out twice.
Kiki: That's progress.
Griffin: Yes, it is. And these things take time. And Ava will make a new life for herself, if anybody can.
Kiki: How? I need to know.
Griffin: Well, it ultimately depends on the choices she makes...
Griffin: ...And the life she decides to live.
Hayden: The payments started yesterday. Yeah, that's correct. Rachel Berlin, DBA, White Hat Limited Medical Supplies.
Finn: Rachel Berlin?
On the next "General Hospital" --
Julian: Okay, stop! That's enough, please.
Finn (to Hayden): Why did you call yourself Rachel Berlin?
Jason (to Sam): So can we agree this is the best solution?
Nathan (to Dante): Jordan's on our case to close the book on your father's shooter.
Carly (to Sonny): I'm ready for things to change.
Sonny: They will.
Carly: You sure about that?
