Olivia: I know that you saved room for dessert, right?

Dillon: Are those cannoli?

Olivia: Homemade, my dude. [Laughs]

Dillon: I mean, I gotta try one, right?

Olivia: Right, right? Now you're talking.

Dillon: Wow. Oh! Oh, my God.

Olivia: Right?

Dillon: How do you do this after working all day and then...

Olivia: See, cooking honestly relaxes me and in that kitchen, forget about it. I mean, with the wood-fired rotisserie ovens and the warming plates all over the place, stacking...ovens. Why are you looking at each other like that? What? What?!

Ned: You cooked that here in our kitchen?

Olivia: What...part of "homemade" was unclear?

Monica: Olivia, a word?

Hayden: I got us a pair of plane tickets.

Finn: Plane tickets?

Hayden: To someplace far away.

Finn: Are we taking a trip?

Hayden: Our first vacation together.

Finn: Where?

Hayden: Ready?

Finn: Yeah.

Hayden: Zanzibar.

Finn: Zanzibar?

Hayden: Yeah. Tanzania. On an island off Africa?

Finn: Yeah, no, no. I-I-I know where it is.

Hayden: It's gonna be amazing and exactly what we need -- to get as far away from here as possible.

Michael: [Exhales deeply] Five songs, three books...

Nelle: No sleep?

Michael: ...No sleep. I don't think Avery's gonna settle down for very long till she sees my dad.

Nelle: Yeah. I'm wondering if she's not the only one.

Michael: I'm okay.

Nelle: Are you sure?

Michael: Yeah, no, I'm f-- I mean... look, I've been in t-this situation with my dad before.

Nelle: What, does he have a habit of getting ambushed and shot?

Michael: [Chuckles] Let's just say this is far from my dad's first close call.

Nelle: Well, Sonny's call would've been a lot closer had it not been for Joss's new friend.

Oscar: The necklace looks good.

Josslyn: [Chuckles] I know. Which... is why I-I hate to give it back to you.

Michael: I mean, w-what kind of a kid makes a necklace out of a shell casing?

Nelle: I don't know. Probably a kid that doesn't know what the hell a shell casing looks like? I mean, don't use it as a reason not to like Oscar.

Michael: How could I not like the kid? I never even met him.

Nelle: Exactly.

Michael: I just hope that it is a "friendship" bullet necklace...

Nelle: [Snickers]

Michael: ...Okay, 'cause -- 'cause my sister's way too young to date.

Nelle: What, you weren't into girls at 14?

Michael: That's different.

Nelle: What, because you were a boy?

Michael: I didn't say that.

Nelle: You were thinking it!

Michael: I was -- I think a lot of things.

[Door slams]

Nelle: Well, you have a dangerous mind, now don't you?

Michael: You like my dangero--

Carly: Hi.

Michael: Hey!

Carly: Hey.

Michael: Uh, Pilar's had, uh -- had Avery all day, so we just wanted to give her the day off.

Carly: How's our girl doing?

Michael: Uh, not great. She keeps asking for Dad.

Carly: Oh.

Michael: Is there any updates?

Carly: Only good ones.

Michael: Yeah? Sonny's gonna be fine.

Michael: Really?

Carly: Really, Michael. Your father's safe. [Laughs]

Jason: Sam? Sam. [Groans]

Deanna: Okay, Sam, time for -- where'd she go?

[Monitor beeping]

Sonny: Jason says you're sick. You getting better?

Sam: The doctors say that I'm on... the road to recovery.

Sonny: I'm glad.

Sam: But the problem is, I don't -- I don't feel okay yet. Because parts of my mind are, um...a blur, and things that I do remember, th-they don't make any sense.

Sonny: We could probably figure it out together. Before you, um...

Sam: Before I what?

Sonny: Before you shoot another person the way you shot me.

Olivia: That's Cook?

Monica: Laying waste to the kitchen as we speak.

Olivia: Just -- just because I used it?

Monica: She guards her territory like a well-trained attack dog.

[Clattering continues]

Olivia: Apparently so. I-I-I thought that the kitchen was supposed to be the heart of the home, where everyone gathers together to -- to hang out --

Monica: Not -- not this house, Olivia. It's been a long-standing Quartermaine rule that the kitchen is Cook's domain.

Olivia: Okay, okay, Ned did -- did explain that to me, but honestly, I kind of thought he was exaggerating. I mean -- I mean, she was -- she was fine when I brought my bruschetta, remember?

Monica: Oh, did you bake it in her kitchen?

Olivia: No.

Monica: See?

Olivia: [Sighs]

Monica: Well, look on the bright side. It'll be nice to have someone else do the cooking for a change.

Olivia: No! It won't! I-I-I find cooking very therapeutic. You know how people say that -- that cooking for your family and your loved ones feeds your soul? I truly believe that.

Monica: Well, then, maybe you could feed your soul at the Metro Court.

Olivia: Okay. You're telling me that I can never, ever, ever go in there, ever.

Monica: Oh, don't feel bad. I'm not allowed in there, either.

Olivia: Monica, this is your house!

Monica: And the kitchen is off-limits!

Olivia: I am never gonna be a part of this family, am I?

Hayden: It'll be the trip of a lifetime, I promise.

Finn: Oh, no, I-I'm sure. This is -- this is nice. I'm just -- I don't know if I can take off on short notice.

Hayden: 1 1/2 days.

Finn: Well, I don't think Monica's gonna love the idea.

Hayden: She owes you. You saved the hospital.

Finn: She saved my job... [Scoffs] ...More times than she needed to, and she put a lot of faith in me.

Hayden: Which you proved was a good investment. Come on, Finn. We need this.

Finn: We do?

Hayden: Yeah, soon we'll be consumed with wedding prep and -- and moving prep, and then I'll be too pregnant to do any kind of prep.

Finn: We could go after the baby's born.

Hayden: You want to take a baby on a 24-hour flight?

Finn: That's a good point.

Hayden: And we'll be so in love with this baby, we won't want to leave him or her at home. This is it. This is our last chance to do something just for us. I mean, think about it. Think about the nature, the culture... the exotic sub-Saharan infectious diseases.

Finn: Oh, now you're just playing dirty.

Hayden: Is it working?

Finn: I'm warming to the idea.

Hayden: [Chuckles] Maybe you'll even love it so much you'll never want to leave.

Finn: Right. [Chuckles] Are you feeling, you know, all right? You seem a little, uh --

Hayden: Excited?

Finn: Okay.

Hayden: This is the best thing for us. Really. We need it.

Finn: Then let's go.

Hayden: Really?

Finn: Mm-hmm. Monica gives me the green light, I'm in, under one condition.

Hayden: You can have the aisle.

Finn: Let's make it our honeymoon.

Oscar: I get it. Not everyone likes jewelry. Not that you can really call it that.

Josslyn: No. Oscar, I love the necklace.

Oscar: You do?

Josslyn: Not just because it's awesome, but because -- well, nobody's ever made something for me before. Well, except for Avery. But it's not like I could wear her painted handprints around my neck, so...

Oscar: It's kind of big.

Josslyn: Yeah. Believe me, I think it's really special -- I do.

Oscar: So then, why do you have to give it back?

Josslyn: Well, because if my mom sees it, she'll get the wrong idea and it will be flip-out time.

Oscar: I mean, I thought she was cool with us hanging out?

Josslyn: She is... for now. Until she finds out how I got it, and, um... well, what you made it from.

Oscar: Something cool I found?

Josslyn: A bullet.

Michael: So, Dad's awake and alert?

Carly: A little weak, you know, from all the blood loss, but other than that, he's back to his old self.

Michael: Thanks to you.

Carly: [Sighs, laughs]

Nelle: Hey, uh, Michael, I think I'm gonna head back to the office and finish up some work. Um, talk to you tomorrow?

Michael: Yeah, of course.

Nelle: Okay.

Michael: I'll see you.

Nelle: I'm really glad your dad's okay.

Michael: Thanks.

Nelle: [Whispers] I'll see you.

Michael: Okay.

Carly: Nelle. I couldn't have found Sonny without your help.

Sam: So, it's true, then. I-I-I shot you.

Sonny: You don't remember?

Sam: No. Bits and pieces are coming back to me, but it -- it feels more like a-a dream or a nightmare, actually. I don't know the difference between what's real and what's not real anymore.

Sonny: It's okay. It's okay.

Sam: How can you say, "It's okay"? I shot you, Sonny!

Sonny: Because you were sick.

Sam: But why? Why -- where did that come from? [Sighs] I love you, Sonny. You are a part of my family. You are my daughter's godfather. I would never want to do anything to hurt you.

Sonny: You didn't -- listen, it -- it wasn't you, anymore than it's not me when I'm going through a manic episode.

Sam: Can you please just tell me what happened, please?

Sonny: No, you don't need to know. It's fine. You're gonna getting better, and it's all gonna --

Sam: Am I really, though?

Sonny: Yes, you are.

Sam: What if the things that I'm seeing my head aren't real memories?

Sonny: [Sighs]

Sam: What happens to me then, Sonny? That means I'm really sick, right? So, what else am I capable of?

Dillon: Mm. Dude. I don't know how you don't weigh like 5,000 pounds.

Ned: [Laughs] Restraint.

Dillon: This is just all so good.

Ned: So is living to see my grandchildren. These numbers -- these numbers are a major problem.

Dillon: Yeah, what are you working on over there anyways? ELQ stuff?

Ned: Yeah. I told Michael that I'd help him out for a few days while he focuses on his family.

Dillon: Oh, yeah, the Sonny situation.

Ned: I mean, I'm all for protecting the environment, but single-handedly trying to save it?

Dillon: Mm. Not good for the bottom line?

Ned: No. This company needs to refocus.

Dillon: You're just the man for the job.

Ned: What are you talking about?

Dillon: I don't know. I mean, it's just that, you know, you're investing a lot of time for somebody who hardly works there anymore.

Ned: ELQ is this family's livelihood. I'm just looking out for it, that's all.

Dillon: Is that what you're doing? You're just looking out? Or are you angling for Michael's job?

Ned: [Laughs] Stop trying to stir the pot.

Dillon: What? Me? Come on.

Ned: I have no desire to run ELQ again, believe me.

Dillon: Then what are you doing?

Ned: What do you mean?

Dillon: [Sighs] The way that you handled your father's latest attempt to swindle our mother, all the favors that you called in, all the maneuvering that you did -- come on, Ned. That is who you are. You are a player. How long are you gonna pretend like you don't want to play?

Hayden: Our flight's in 36 hours. If you want Zanzibar to be our honeymoon...

Finn: We better get married,

Hayden: Okay, this feels weird.

Finn: Why?

Hayden: I really did want to get away. It wasn't a trick to get you to marry me.

Finn: First, I want to marry you.

Hayden: I know.

Finn: And second, how can you be tricking me into anything when the anything is my idea?

Hayden: Well, if we go through with this, we kiss a big wedding goodbye.

Finn: Oh, no. No! I mean, I'm sorry, unless... unless you had your heart set on something like that.

Hayden: Are you kidding me? I already did that. I have no need to do that again.

Finn: Okay. Well, sounds like we're in agreement.

Hayden: I want you to be 100% sure.

Finn: I didn't know that was...possible for me -- to be sure like that...again. Lightning doesn't strike twice, right? But it did for me. This is it, Hayden. This is what life looks like -- it's gonna be you and me and the little one and, as far as I'm concerned, the sooner we get started, the better.

Hayden: I feel the same way.

Finn: Yeah?

Hayden: Oh, my God. We're really doing this. I can't wait.

Jared: Me neither. Can't wait for what, exactly?

Nelle: Yeah, I really didn't do anything, Carly.

Carly: You brought that shell casing to my attention. And if you and Michael hadn't put it all together and sent me to that distillery... [Sighs] You did. Sonny's alive, and I just want to say thank you.

Nelle: Well, um... I'm glad I could help you.

Carly: There is one thing that I've been wondering.

Nelle: What's that?

Carly: How did you get that shell casing to begin with?

Oscar: I gave you a necklace made from a bullet?

Josslyn: Okay, well, technically it's a bullet casing. See, when an automatic weapon, you know, fires a bullet, the casing gets ejected, so it's kind of like...a leftover.

Oscar: I'm not seeing how that makes this any better.

Josslyn: Yeah, sadly, it probably won't. Well, at least for my mom.

Oscar: Can you blame her? I took you somewhere people were firing off guns.

Josslyn: Well, yeah, but you didn't know that.

Oscar: And your stepfather was there the whole time?

Josslyn: Yeah, it's unreal, isn't it? I mean, that we were out there, walking around while Sonny was trapped in that pit just waiting for someone to find him, save him.

Oscar: If only we had checked out the cask room. Stupid geese.

Josslyn: God, shut up.

Oscar: Well, thank God we can laugh, since it all worked out.

Josslyn: No thanks to us.

Oscar: Whoa, now hold on. Okay, if you think about it, it's because of us Sonny was rescued. If you hadn't agreed to come out that night, I would have never found the shell casing. And if I hadn't found the shell casing, I wouldn't have made the necklace.

Josslyn: Yeah.

Oscar: And if I hadn't made the necklace, your mom wouldn't have gotten the clue to save your stepdad.

Josslyn: Well, when you put it like that...

Oscar: You have to keep it. It's your reward for being a hero.

Sonny: Sam, you don't have to do this.

Sam: Yes, you do. Sonny, can you please walk me through what happened? Please?

Sonny: Garvey had to-- just told me where -- where Spencer was when you showed up, and when I saw you, I thought you were there for the same reason I was -- for Spencer.

Sam: But I wasn't.

Sonny: Come on. We'll call Jason in the car.

Sam: No! We're not going anywhere. [Sighs] It's like I'm -- I'm watching it happen to somebody else. I don't... I don't get anxious, Sonny. I don't have panic attacks.

Sonny: Is that how the symptoms started?

Sam: I was -- I was terrified the whole time. And then I started seeing you, and then you... you were telling me that you were gonna take Jason away from me.

Sonny: It was all in your head.

Sam: [Voice breaking] But why? I don't feel that way about you. I've never felt that way about you.

Sonny: You were sick.

Sam: Of all the things that I would be compelled to do, to shoot you, Sonny? You? I'm sorry, but I will never understand that.

Sonny: Does Jason know you're here?

Sam: Don't you get it, Sonny? Jason isn't coming to help you. Not now, not ever again. Now you die. "Now you die"?

Sonny: I-it was obvious something was wrong, and I was trying to talk you down. I would do anything for you and Jason.

Sonny: You didn't mean to do this.

Sam: Yes, I did. I kicked you. I did. I kicked you into that hole, and I walked away. Sonny, I left you there to die!

Sonny: Hey.

Monica: Oh, you are a part of this family. Don't be absurd.

Olivia: No, everyone keeps telling me that this is my home.

Monica: And it is!

Olivia: But I still feel like a guest here.

Monica: Like a... what, an outsider?

Olivia: No.

Monica: Doesn't quite speak the language?

Olivia: Yeah, I mean, not -- not all of the time.

Monica: But enough of the time. [Sighs] Believe it or not, Alan and I were not born married. I felt like an outsider myself once.

Olivia: So how did you handle it? When did you finally find your place?

Monica: When I learned to talk back.

Olivia: I got no problem talking back.

Monica: Well, with this group, sometimes I think you do. See, Quartermaines converse by arguing. I mean, to fight is to love. So...don't go along to get along. Go for what you want.

Jared: Rachel! Oh, I'm sorry. It's -- it's Hayden now, right? Oh, I'm so glad I found you. I heard that you were working here -- had to come say "Hi."

Hayden: Hi. Uh...unfortunately, you know, w-we're busy. We're -- so we'll have to ca--

Jared: Wait a second. Is this the famous Finn?

Finn: Uh, and you are?

Jared: Adam. Adam Green. Rachel and -- I keep doing that. [Chuckles] Hayden and I go way back.

Finn: Oh? H-how so?

Jared: Oh, of course, you didn't mention me to him. Didn't want to make him jealous, huh? [Chuckles] Hayden and I used to be married. I mean, not married married. She was my work wife.

Finn: Ah.

Jared: But that was another life. Right, Hayden?

Hayden: Are you in town long?

Jared: Just long enough to, uh, do some business.

Hayden: Hm.

Finn: Adam, what kind of business are you in?

Jared: Debt collection. But enough about me. [Chuckles] How are you? I know, I know. We should have dinner, the three of us, right? I can tell you all the old Rachel Berlin stories.

Hayden: You know what? That's not -- we're not gonna be able to do that.

Finn: Yeah, we have a lot to do before our trip.

Jared: Trip?

Finn: Yeah, we're leaving for Africa the day after tomorrow.

Oscar: So, you'll keep it?

Josslyn: But you have to help me come up with what I tell my mom when she sees me wearing it.

Oscar: It's an easy fix -- don't wear it. Put it in a drawer somewhere until everything calms down. Then by the time you break it out, your mom will be like, "Necklace? What necklace?"

Josslyn: Okay, so clearly you don't know my mom very well.

Oscar: Look, I just -- I want you to have it. I don't care if anyone else sees it except for you. Cool?

Josslyn: Cool.

Oscar: You still owe me that sandwich, you know.

Josslyn: Well, you want it now?

Oscar: I already ate dinner.

Josslyn: Okay. Well, you can give me your order, and I can pick it up on my way to camp tomorrow.

Oscar: No, I...thought we could split it. Eat it together.

Josslyn: Like, by the pool?

Oscar: Or like here.

Josslyn: A meal at Kelly's. Together. Almost sounds like a date. Oh.

Oscar: I was... I wanted to ask you out, but I wasn't sure. Anyways, I-I'm just gonna -- I'm gonna go for it. What do you think about, you know, going out with me?

Carly: I just don't understand how you wound up holding a freshly shot shell casing made into an necklace. Crazy.

Nelle: Uh, well, um... a friend of mine found it. The -- the casing, not the necklace. He has an eye for, um... turning junk into something worthwhile.

Carly: So this person, this friend of yours, was just wandering around the distillery and never stumbled upon Sonny. But he --

Nelle: He found the casing.

Carly: Right, and he went home and then turned it into a necklace and then he gave it to you.

Nelle: Yeah, that's pretty much what happened.

Carly: Wow.

Nelle: Mm-hmm.

Michael: It's lucky, huh?

Carly: I'll say. Yeah. I'd love to meet this friend of yours.

Michael: You know, you should probably actually get going, right? You don't want to upset the new boss.

Nelle: Yeah, okay, um... so, I'll text you later?

Michael: Yeah. I-I'll walk you out.

Nelle: Okay. Have a good night.

Carly: You too now.

[Door closes]

Carly: Don't tell me you bought a word of that.

Sam: How can you even look at me after what I did?

Sonny: Because you're my friend, and I love you.

Sam: Friends don't try and kill each other.

Sonny: Geez, Sam. I'm gonna say this as many times as -- until you believe it, but that person at the distillery was not you. You didn't mean to hurt me, Sam.

Sam: Then -- then who was it, Sonny? I'm the one who pulled the trigger. I'm the one who shot you. I mean, just saying out loud, I can't even -- I --

Sonny: Sam, you got to listen to me.

Sam: I don't know what's happening to me right now.

Sonny: All right, listen -- no one understands this more than I do. It's terrifying when you ca-- you can't trust your own mind. When you see things that are right in front of you, you don't know if it's real or -- or not. You can't control your actions. Well, here's the good thing, okay -- you're not like me. You don't have a mental illness. You have an infection. You're gonna take some medicine, and you're gonna get better.

Sam: What if I don't?

Sonny: You will because this isn't some dark, deep part of you you're gonna have to carry around the rest of your life.

Sam: I'm scared.

Sonny: I know.

Sam: You're letting me off the hook, and I don't deserve that.

Sonny: How many times I got to tell you --

Sam: Sonny, look at where you are. I have to take responsibility for this.

Sonny: Absolutely not.

Sam: Yes, I do --

Jason: Hey. We've been looking for you everywhere. Are you okay?

Sam: No, I'm not. Sonny told me what happened, and I-I remember --

Jason: Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, we're going -- we're going -- we're going back to --

Sam: Will you listen to me, please?

Jason: I'm listening, and I'm gonna listen to everything you have to say in your room. You've been through it. You need to rest. And -- can you help me out, please?

Deanna: Come on, let me take you back to your room.

Jason: Thank you.

Sam: I am so sorry.

Sonny: You don't have to be sorry. Take care of yourself.

Jason: I'm right behind you.

Sam: Okay.

Jason: Okay?

Sam: Mm-hmm.

Jason: So, Sam shot you.

Sonny: It'll be all right. Sickness is messing with her mind.

Jason: Thank you for understanding.

Sonny: Yeah. You just need to calm her down.

Jason: Yeah, I know.

Sonny: Seriously, she could feel so guilty she's gonna go to the cops. She's could confess.

Michael: Dad's in the hospital, lucky to be alive. Why are you digging up more drama?

Carly: You thought Nelle's story was legit?

Michael: Okay, what's the alternative, Mom? What, Nelle was on a construction site, she left dad in a hole, she found a-a shell casing, made a necklace out of the shell casing, and then used that necklace to be the one who saved dad? Is that what you're saying?

Carly: Okay, whatever, whatever.

Michael: All right. Okay, let's just move on.

Carly: I just need to know the truth, okay, and the truth just seems really neat and tidy. Not to mention random.

Michael: Well, that's just sometimes how things happen, okay? Be thankful.

Carly: I am thankful, okay? I'm very thankful. I'm grateful. Of course.

Michael: Look, it meant a lot to me that you were so... grateful to Nelle.

Carly: Well, you know, you have to give credit where credit's due.

Michael: That's why I love you, Mom.

Carly: I love you, too. Oh, get out of here. I'll take over with Avery.

Michael: You sure?

Carly: Of course! Go. Go live your life.

Michael: Okay.

Carly: [Chuckles] Bye.

Michael: Bye.

[Door opens]

Jared: Aw, bummer! I would have loved to hang. But if you're going to Africa, you're going to Africa.

Finn: Well, it's not gonna happen if I don't get time off.

Hayden: Go talk to Monica. I'll catch up with you.

Finn: Yeah? You sure?

Hayden: Uh, yeah.

Finn: Okay. Hey, it was nice meeting you, Adam.

Jared: Hey, you too.

[Door closes]

Hayden: What the hell was that?

Jared: Oh, me? Nice getaway plan, Rache. What, you didn't think I'd be here when you got back? Or did you actually think once you got there, you could convince him to stay?

Hayden: I've had worse ideas.

Jared: Well, that is true. Why are you making this so difficult? All you have to do is use your financial know-how to siphon money from the hospital and make sure it lands in my bank account. Done.

Hayden: And if I don't?

Jared: Then I sing like a canary to Finn.

Hayden: Maybe I'm ready to face that.

Jared: You sure?

Hayden: I believe in our relationship. We'll survive.

Jared: Not if Finn doesn't.

Oscar: I've totally weirded you out, haven't I?

Josslyn: No, no, you didn't.

Oscar: Yes, no, I did. You weren't even, like, thinking like that --

Josslyn: Oscar. Of course. I mean, I've thought about it. I mean, are we friends? Are we more than friends?

Oscar: Do you want to be more than friends?

Josslyn: Well, do you?

Oscar: I think that's pretty obvious.

[Footsteps approaching]

Nelle: Hey, Joss.

Josslyn: Hi.

Oscar: [Sighs] Just... let me know.

Josslyn: [Sighs]

Nelle: You know, whoever that was didn't have to run off. I'm just grabbing a cup of coffee.

Josslyn: It was Oscar.

Nelle: Ooh! Oscar -- the guy that got you the necklace Oscar? Yeah, he's super cute.

Josslyn: [Scoffs]

Nelle: So, uh, what's -- what's the deal with you two?

Josslyn: Okay, you have to promise not to say anything. I-I'm not even supposed to be here.

Nelle: [Scoffs] Okay.

Josslyn: He just asked me to go out with him.

Nelle: [Gasps] He did? Okay, what did -- what did you say?

Josslyn: Well, nothing! You showed up, and he left. Which I'm so not mad about or anything.

Nelle: Oh.

Josslyn: I'm relieved. [Exhales deeply]

Nelle: Because you don't know what your answer is, do, and you just don't want to hurt him?

Dillon: I'm serious, man. ELQ fell into Michael's lap, which I'm fine with 'cause clearly I don't want the job. But all I'm saying is, if you want it, you should take it back.

Ned: Just like that?

Dillon: Why not?

Ned: Just waltz into Michael's office and tell him to pack up and ship out.

Dillon: It is your birthright. Besides, just like you said, it's not like Michael's exactly doing a bang-up job.

Ned: [Chuckles]

Dillon: What is so funny?

Ned: You are out of your mind if you think Michael is going to hand over the reins. Behind that baby face of his is grandfather's savvy.

Dillon: Really?

Ned: Really. The power may have been thrust upon him, but Michael is not going to let go. If I was going to take over... I'd have to outmaneuver him.

Hayden: Are you threatening to kill Finn if I don't do what you want?

Jared: Oh, come on. Have you ever known me to be violent?

Hayden: I never knew you at all.

Jared: Ouch. I'm not gonna hurt Finn, but from what I understand, he's liable to hurt himself. I mean, guy's an addict.

Hayden: He's in recovery.

Jared: For now. When he finds out that his wife is a liar and a criminal, 100 bucks says that sobriety flies right out the window. Do you want that on your head? Look, the fix couldn't be simpler. Pay me.

Jared: Time to get to work.

Monica: Well, congratulations.

Finn: Thank you, Monica.

Monica: Have you two set a date?

Finn: Uh, yes, actually, uh... the day after tomorrow.

Monica: Oh! Well, why the delay?

Finn: Well, we wanted to get married before was born and -- and while Hayden was still up for traveling.

Monica: So you'll be able to have a honeymoon.

Finn: Well, yes, that's kind of up to you.

Monica: Oh, you want some time off.

Finn: If it's at all possible, and I know it's late notice, and -- and I completely understand if you need to say no.

Monica: Yes.

Finn: Yes?

Monica: Mm-hmm. You go get married. Go on a honeymoon, have a wonderful time.

Finn: Thank you, Monica. That's -- that's the plan.

Monica: Oh, wait a minute. Now that I think about it...

Josslyn: I like Oscar, you know, a lot.

Nelle: Mm-hmm.

Josslyn: He's fun to hang out with, interesting to talk to. You know, he -- he just...gets me. [Scoffs] As lame as that sounds.

Nelle: That doesn't sound lame.

Josslyn: But according to Mom, I'm too young to date. Even though Trina's allowed to.

Nelle: So, from what I'm gathering here, you do want to go out with him.

Josslyn: I think so? God, I don't know. I mean, what do you think?

Nelle: Well, when I was your age, there was a boy that I really liked. His name was Johnny Abrams.

Josslyn: And he liked you, too?

Nelle: He did, yeah. And all of our friends said that we should go out, and so...we did.

Josslyn: And then what? Something bad happened?

Nelle: We were just really young, you know? We had no idea what being boyfriend and girlfriend really meant. I just -- I wonder sometimes what my life would have been like if I had just had that one person to ask, "Is this okay for me not to know?" You know, to take my time and really move slowly for myself -- figure things out on my own, you know?

Josslyn: Yeah.

Michael: Hey.

Nelle: Hey.

Michael: What'd I miss?

Sonny: Sam's way too fragile to go through a police investigation. You can't let her confess.

Jason: Yeah, I'm not gonna let her do it.

Sonny: Just keep telling her that I'm fine, and I've been shot way worse. The reason I'm in here is -- is not Sam, it's Garvey.

Jason: Thank you. I'll tell her that.

Sonny: We on the same page?

Jason: Yeah, we're on the same page. I don't know if Carly's gonna agree to this.

Sonny: Well, Carly doesn't know anything about what happened to Sam, so we just want to keep it that way.

Jason: You're not gonna tell Carly?

Sonny: Not right now. It's... I'm in the hospital, emotions are running wild, and if we tell Carly, she's gonna go to Sam --

Jason: And she'll want to hear it from Sam's mouth directly, and Sam being in the fragile state that she's in might go to the cops and confess.

Sonny: We can't have that.

Jason: I'm with you.

Sonny: As far as we're both concerned, it's over. We move on.

Ned: Hey, sweetheart. Everything okay?

Olivia: Just great. I was just in the kitchen.

Dillon: Ah, did Monica not explain --

Olivia: I was trying to make peace with Cook. I told her that maybe you and Monica would be willing to finance her very own cookbook if she was willing to share the kitchen with me.

Dillon: And?

Olivia: No go.

Ned: Oh, well, don't take it personally.

Olivia: It's funny that you should say that. Those are exactly the words that I used when I fired her disrespectful tush.

Dillon: Tush?

Ned: You did what?

Olivia: So, who wants ziti? [Laughs]

[Mouse clicks]

[Keyboard keys clacking as Hayden makes a bogus payment from GH]

Michael: So, what were you guys talking about?

Josslyn: Yeah, and I was just leaving. Um, my ride will be here any second. So... thanks.

Nelle: Anytime.

Michael: You know, Mom's asking about the necklace.

Nelle: Yeah.

Josslyn: She is?

Michael: And Nelle and I covered for you.

Josslyn: [Sighs] You guys are the best.

Michael: Yeah, just don't make us regret it, okay?

Josslyn: I won't.

Nelle: [Chuckles]

Michael: Isn't she still grounded?

Nelle: What, are you gonna tell on her? Yeah, I didn't think so.

Michael: Well, whatever you two were talking about, it seemed kind of... important.

Nelle: It was important. It was girl talk.

Michael: Oh, girl talk.

Nelle: Mm-hmm.

Michael: So absolutely none of my business.

Nelle: Exactly.

Sam: [Sobbing] I shot him! Jason, how could I do that?

It's okay.

Sam: No, it's not.

Jason: I get it.

Sam: No, you can't.

Jason: You listen to me -- I definitely get it. It's horrifying doing things that are out of your control, things that you would never do if you didn't have a say. When you helped me realize it wasn't me, it was Helena -- so, listen to me, it wasn't you. It was a hallucination. It's the infection.

Sam: I-I need to take responsibility.

Jason: No, you don't. I know you want to, but it's not gonna help anybody. It's certainly not gonna help our kids. It's not gonna help Sonny, who's fine. It's not gonna help you, okay? Just -- just try to get some rest, honey.

Carly: Hey.

Sonny: Hey.

Carly: Are you up for a couple visitors?

Sonny: Yeah, get in here.

Carly: See, there he is! I told you. He was safe and sound and all in one piece.

Sonny: Hello, sweetie. I missed you so much.

Carly: [Laughs] Yeah, I know. She was having a rough night. She was. She didn't want to sleep. So I thought a visit was in order.

Sonny: There's no better visit in the whole world.

Carly: [Laughs]

Sonny: Hey, baby.

Carly: Hey.

Sonny: Yeah?

Carly: Everything okay? Yeah?

[Door opens]

Deanna: Sorry for the intrusion earlier.

Carly: Intrusion earlier? What happened?

Sonny: Uh... Sam came by. She wanted to visit.

Carly: Really?

Sonny: Yeah.

Carly: How's she doing?

Sonny: Hey, baby. She's doing -- she's gonna make a full recovery, I guess.

Carly: Just like you.

Sonny: [Chuckles] Hey, you hear that, Avery? Everything's gonna go right back the way it used to be.

On the next "General Hospital" --

Jared (to Hayden): Sounds like you are about to have a big problem.

Maxie (to Nathan): Can I steal you away for a romantic lunch in the park?

Dr. Bensch (to Kiki): There you are, Miss Jerome. May I speak with you?

Finn (to Curtis): I need someone to step up for me. I can't think of anyone I'd like better.

Stella: Oh, my God!
