Carly: I've got to tell you. That was a really generous offer.
Sonny: Yeah, it would be if, um, money were all that mattered.
Carly: Oh, I know Pozzulo's holds a lot of special memories for you. It's gonna be hard for you to let it go. So you can reconsider, Sonny. You don't have to sell.
Sonny: I don't want to sell it. But if I'm gonna be taken seriously as far as getting out of the business, I got to sever all my ties. Divest in places that are associated with... less-than-legal transactions. So, Pozzulo's got to go. Right?
Sonny: But not to this particular... nope.
Sonny: Yeah? Send her up.
Carly: Send who up?
Sonny: Laura. I-I hope she brings Spencer.
Carly: Oh, uh, you know, I don't want him to ask about you having Valentin Cassadine whacked.
Sonny: He's a kid. He's just trying to be tough.
Sonny: He doesn't know...
Laura: Hey, I'm sorry to just show up like this, but I need your help.
Sonny: Yeah, whatever you need.
Laura: Spencer's missing.
Dante: "So I am revenged. That would be scann'd: A villain kills my father; and for that, I, his sole son, do this same villain send to heaven." You, uh -- you a Shakespeare guy?
Nathan: It's from "Hamlet."
Nina: Uh, uh, Spencer was quoting "Hamlet" when he was at Wyndemere. He's rehearsing the part at camp.
Dante: Well, maybe that would explain these notes inside here. "Hamlet misses how things were before." "Stay mad at Claudius." "Claudius equals Valentin. Hamlet equals me."
Nina: Those are Spencer's notes, definitely. He thinks that his life parallels Hamlet's.
Nathan: Want to explain what you're doing with it?
Valentin: Yeah, it's perfectly simple, actually...
Dante: Well, before you do that, we should probably take care of one formality. Valentin Cassadine, you are under arrest. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.
Valentin: You are making a mistake, Detective.
Nathan: Are you denying that that belongs to Spencer Cassadine?
Valentin: Uh, no!
Nathan: You denying that it was in your pocket?
Nina: Do you need me to call a lawyer?
Valentin: No, I don't need you to call a lawyer. There's a perfectly logical explanation --
Nathan: Said every suspect in the history of law enforcement.
Valentin: Yeah, I may be guilty of a lot of things. But I did not kidnap Spencer Cassadine, and you know it.
Finn: I would like the latest islet cell transplant numbers by the end of the day. Well, I'm back now, and beta cell research is one of my top priorities. So, may I have the data or not?
Finn: Thank you.
Lucy: Hey, Dr. Finn.
Finn: Ms. Coe. How are you?
Lucy: I'm swell. I'm just so glad to see you back at work and so glad you're living your dream of curing the incurable disease.
Finn: Oh, well, thank you. Polio was once considered incurable. And so it just takes one person not to want to give up. That and a whole lot of luck.
Lucy: [Chuckles] Well, guess what.
Lucy: This happens to be your lucky day, 'cause I have the keys to your dream house, and I can't wait to show it to you. So, where's Hayden?
Finn: Yes, well, she texted me and said to meet her here. I know she's excited about seeing the house. I -- I wonder what's keeping her.
Dr. Obrecht: All right, Hayden Barnes, aka Rachel Berlin. Let's see what you've been up to. Arrested for attempted murder. [Laughs] Charges dropped. [Scoffs] Arrested for grand larceny? Ah, that diamond necklace was not yours, was it? Released when another party confessed. [Scoffs] Mein gott, the woman always manages to slither away. There must be something that sticks, something I'm missing.
Hayden: What are you still doing here?
Dante: Let's go do this in the interrogation room.
Valentin: No. No. There's no need. Listen, I have nothing to hide. The sooner we get this over with, the sooner you can double your efforts to find Spencer.
Nathan: Yeah, I'm sure that's your first priority.
Dante: All right, why don't you have a seat, then? You could tell me how you ended up with Spencer's "Hamlet" speech in your pocket.
Valentin: He dropped it. I picked it up.
Dante: What, as you were dragging him away?
Valentin: Nice. Yesterday, I saw Spencer in the park. He was with Laura Spencer and Kevin Collins.
Nathan: What were you doing with Spencer to begin with?
Valentin: I sought him out.
Dante: You sought him out? Why?
Valentin: Because Spencer has -- has written me as the villain in his personal story. I was making a peace offering. I was trying to give him a ring with the Cassadine crest on it made for me by my father, his great-grandfather. I thought he might like it.
Dante: Did he appreciate the gift?
Valentin: No. He -- no. He -- he didn't like it.
Dante: But everything stayed cool, polite? No harsh words were exchanged?
Valentin: He told me he would see me buried with it.
Dante: Oh. You thought that was funny?
Valentin: Well, I admire his conviction, if not his common courtesy.
Dante: So, where was your admiration when he told Charlotte that you killed Nikolas?
Valentin: He made Charlotte cry, Dante. He hurt her. You care about her. I would think that that would bother you. Doesn't that concern you at all?
Nathan: Let's -- let's go back to the wrongful death suit. So, if Spencer wins, he could take you for everything you're worth.
Valentin: Well, that's a pretty big "if".
Dante: But that lawsuit could cause you a lot of problems. It would probably be better for you if Spencer never has his day in court.
Sonny: Have a seat, Laura.
Laura: Yeah. I, um -- I dropped Charlotte off at Lulu's house, and then I just came straight here. I'm sorry. I just -- I-I didn't know where else to go.
Carly: Okay, h-how long has Spencer been missing?
Laura: Um, they realized that he was missing a couple of hours ago, but, see, nobody knows how long before that, before somebody noticed.
Sonny: Well, th-this is Spencer we're talking about. I-I know he made you worry -- when he had his driver take him to see me.
Laura: Well, that was my first thought, too, that maybe Chandler took him somewhere. But Chandler has not seen him. He hasn't heard from him.
Sonny: Maybe he thought his driver was a liability. He wanted to just go somewhere on his own.
Laura: I know he has history of acting out and doing things like this, but this is different. It's different. It's Valentin.
Carly: Did something happen?
Laura: [Sighs] Spencer... wants Valentin to pay. So, first off, he's decided that he's gonna sue him for wrongful death.
Carly: Wow. That's gutsy but not really possible, is it?
Laura: Yeah, it is, actually. Alexis thinks that it has merit and that he could win. But, more importantly, today -- today, he told Charlotte that Valentin was the one who killed Nikolas.
Sonny: No father wants his child to hear about his crimes.
Laura: Yeah. He's furious.
Sonny: Did he threaten... Spencer?
Laura: Uh... not directly, no. He -- but -- but he told Charlotte that she would never have to see Spencer again.
Carly: Okay, I'm not defending Valentin at all. But it's a huge leap to go from being angry with Spencer to kidnapping him.
Laura: Yeah, I know, and if it was anybody else, then I-I'd say that maybe you're right. But it's Valentin, and he's ruthless. And he's come after Spencer once before. Sonny, please. Can you use your influence, your -- your connections, something, to help me to find him?
Dr. Obrecht: I'm downloading all the digital records of my years of work here at General Hospital. Or do you want to take that away from me, too?
Hayden: You've had plenty of time to gather your things.
Dr. Obrecht: And gather them I did! See these boxes? Like so many coffins filled with my files, certificates, diplomas, even my favorite coffee mug. All ready to be carted away and added to my funeral pyre.
Hayden: Yeah, well, at least you're not being melodramatic about it.
Dr. Obrecht: You have ruined my life!
Hayden: You have no one to blame but yourself! What you did was criminal, deliberately sabotaging Finn, tampering with his drug screens to try and destroy his reputation. You're lucky he didn't insist on pressing charges. You should be in jail.
Dr. Obrecht: I won't waste my breath trying to explain my actions to the woman who enabled Dr. Finn's addiction.
Hayden: Take your severance and get out of here before I forget Finn's way-too-generous deal and have you arrested myself.
Lucy: So, Dr. O actually thought the party was for her? Even though she got caught falsifying your test results? Wow. That is extremely delusional.
Finn: I almost feel sorry for her. No, she -- she has a problem. Problems. Um, but when she focuses, she can be a gifted physician. I-I -- I'm sure there's patients that owe their recovery to her.
Lucy: I think you're being way more generous than she deserves. Granted, we all have our faults, but Dr. Obrecht has caused more than her share of pain and suffering.
Finn: That's --
Dr. Obrecht: This hospital is a den of medical mediocrities, jealous of my knowledge and skills. Go ahead and gloat, Lucy Coe. Somehow, year after year, the Nurses' Ball triumphs over your lackluster efforts as mistress of ceremony.
Lucy: [Smacks lips] Beg your pardon?!
Dr. Obrecht: You should be begging. If only you had taken greater advantage of my talents as a performer when you had the chance. My "Willkommen" and "99 Luftballons" were showstoppers! Alas, now never to be repeated.
Lucy: Alas, somehow, some way, though, the show's gonna go on. Auf Wiedersehen, Liesl.
Dr. Obrecht: No hard feelings. In fact, I foresee a bright future for you and your offspring.
[Button clicks, elevator bell dings]
Sonny: Max and the guys are looking for Spencer.
Laura: Good. Thank you. But we might need something more, because maybe he went to a middleman to hire the guys to do the job.
Sonny: If he did, he -- I'd -- I would know about it.
Laura: You would, for sure?
Sonny: Yeah. I mean, look, my people wouldn't take that job. But there are contractors that -- who would.
Sonny: Not many, but...
Laura: Yeah, but how do we find them?
Sonny: I'm gonna call in every favor I can. I'm gonna apply whatever pressure I have to, whatever it takes.
Laura: Thank you. [Sighs] Sonny, I'm so sorry. I know that I'm putting you in a terrible position.
Sonny: You listen to me, okay? Spencer's family. I'm gonna bring him home, whatever it takes.
Dante: When's the last time you saw Spencer?
Valentin: Earlier today, after Spencer upset Charlotte.
Dante: And what happened?
Valentin: Well, I could see that Charlotte was upset. I told her to go back to camp. And then I asked Spencer if it made him important, hurting her like that.
Dante: So you admit you were angry.
Valentin: Yeah. Yeah, I admit I was angry. But I never laid a hand on him. I didn't threaten him in any way.
Nathan: So after you dropped Charlotte off at camp, where'd you go?
Valentin: I met with my lawyers. We were petitioning a judge for visitation. The petition was granted. I went back to the park. I showed Laura her copy of the papers, and then I took Charlotte to the Metro Court, where we had some ice cream. And I believe that's where you found us. You remember that?
Dante: Yeah, I remember that. We're gonna have to make sure your story checks out.
Valentin: That's fine. And in the meantime, Spencer's unaccounted for. So, while you're wasting time with me, if he is in danger, you're wasting valuable time.
Dante: Sanchez, take Mr. Cassadine to interrogation, please.
Nathan: I'll go check on his alibi.
Dante: I'm gonna check on that eyewitness.
Nathan: Do you need a lift? I can give you a ride home on the way to the courthouse.
Nina: Actually, I have another request.
Nathan: N-no. No. No way.
Nina: He's my husband.
Nathan: Nina. This is exactly what I'm worried about, okay? Every time, this guy pulls you back in.
Nina: You're gonna have to trust me on this one.
Valentin: All right, what do you want now?
Nina: The truth.
Lucy: [Sighs] Okay. Okay. Just imagine what a showplace this could be once you two add your own unique touches!
Finn: Yeah. I see -- I see the possibilities. I mean, with a lot of work. I mean, we could take out this wall here and create a nice, open floor plan, and we renovate the kitchen. We could expand that master suite upstairs.
Lucy: Uh, yeah. You better just slow down there. Whoa, Mr. Fixer-upper. Because you might want to put a hold on those plans till after the baby comes.
Finn: Right. W-we wouldn't have to do anything right away. I mean, like, we wouldn't have to touch the grounds. I-I love all the natural landscaping. And then there's -- they got a tennis court. A tennis court! I never thought I'd have one of those.
Lucy: It's so cool. What if your son turns out to be the next Rafael Nadal? Or better yet, it's girl, and she's Serena Williams! I love Serena Williams!
Hayden: What if she hates tennis? What if she never wants to pick up a racket?
Finn: Oh, well, we could just use the court for a roller-skating rink or put in a water slide or something.
Lucy: Um, buying a house is really an extremely difficult and emotional decision. So, I'll tell you what, why don't, um, you two just take your time and look around? Try everything out. See what you like, don't like, what works and doesn't work. Because I happen to have another appointment in this neighborhood. I'll go and then I'll come back. Okay? Ta!
Finn: Thanks, Lucy.
[Door opens, closes]
Finn: So, uh...what's wrong? Is the -- you don't like the location? Or y-you don't like the price? Or...
Hayden: No. The -- the location is great. The price is fair.
Finn: Then what's wrong with this house?
Hayden: It's not the house. It's me.
Sonny: You know what? It's important not to rush to judgment. 'Cause my people aren't just gonna be asking about Valentin.
Laura: Yeah, but it's got to be Valentin. I mean, who else would target Spencer like that, you know?
Sonny: I don't know.
Carly: Okay, you know what, Laura? Sonny and I have been through this, and it's terrifying. It's awful. Sonny's gonna be thorough. And he's gonna follow up on every lead and every suspect, and that includes Valentin.
[Cell phone rings]
Laura: Sorry. Oh, it's Dante. Hello? Dante? Did you find him?
Dante: No, we're still searching. Listen, can you come to the station as soon as possible?
Laura: Yeah. Yeah, on my way. [Sighs]
Laura: No. He just wants me to go down to the station now, that's all.
Carly: Go. Go. And keep us posted, please. And we'll do the same.
Laura: Okay. Thank you.
Sonny: W-we're gonna bring him home.
Laura: Thanks. Both of you. Thank you.
Sonny: You okay with this?
Carly: I want you to do whatever it takes.
Sonny: But it's ironic that as soon as I decide to get out of the business, somebody that I love needs me back in.
Valentin: I told the truth. Every word I said out there.
Nina: Yeah, I heard what you said to Dante and my brother. We're alone now.
Valentin: Oh, come on. You know me. You know I wouldn't hurt that boy. Was I mad at him? Sure I was. He's a vindictive and spoiled little brat!
Nina: He's grieving for his father.
Valentin: I don't care. That doesn't give him an excuse for hurting Charlotte. She's a little girl. Telling her things she can't possibly understand? He's just lucky I didn't tell him how Nikolas Cassadine used him to fake his death and blame it on Jason Morgan. He's just lucky I didn't tell him that there's a good chance that Nikolas Cassadine's still alive and well on the other side of the planet and isn't giving him a second thought.
Nina: You would never be so mean.
Valentin: No, I wouldn't do that. And I wouldn't kidnap him, either.
Nina: Why should I believe you?
Valentin: I don't know. Because you know me. You know I would never... hurt that kid.
Nina: I don't know that. That's why I'm here.
Valentin: Okay, now you're the one who's not being honest.
Nina: What are you talking about?
Valentin: You got a lot of people telling you how horrible I am. But that's not why you came down here. You came down here because you know... I would never hurt that boy. You made me better. You gave me a reason to be. You gave me the courage to change, to be the kind of man, the kind of husband you could be proud of, you could love. Look me in the eyes. You tell me you don't see that man. You tell me you don't still believe in me.
Dr. Obrecht: Incredible. No mention of his darling daughter, Rachel. No matter what they say, she must have helped her father in his Ponzi scheme, bilked innocent people out of their hard-earned savings. Yet she walks away without so much as a slap on the wrist? And she calls me a criminal?
Finn: Hey, what's wrong? You know, this -- this house has everything on your wish list and -- and -- and more. And yet, for some reason, it -- it upsets you. You know, uh, have you been here before? I mean, whatever it is, you can tell me.
Hayden: No. No, I've never been here before. This place is so much like where I grew up. It just brings up old memories. The things I did, the person I was.
Finn: Hey, I don't -- I don't care about the past. I mean, forget about the past. I mean, I got so many skeletons in my closet, I can hear them rattling around at night. But this...
Finn: This place -- this place has got nothing but empty closets and empty rooms, just waiting for us to put our own new memories in them. You know, hey, you don't like the tennis court? Forget the tennis court. We'll rip it out. We'll put in a -- a swing set or a rose garden. Whatever you want.
Hayden: Since when did you start seeing the glass half-full?
Finn: Since I stopped putting poison in my veins and fell in love with you. So let me do that. You know? Let's start some new memories. Right here, right now.
Hayden: No, we can't...
Finn: We can. Listen, this isn't for me. This is for our real-estate agent, right?
Finn: You heard what Lucy says. We have to check everything out. We have to find out what works and doesn't work.
Finn: It's for her, not me.
Carly: Any word from Max?
Sonny: None of my people know anything. Um, doesn't surprise me, since Cassadine's too smart to use anybody connected to me.
Carly: You gonna reach out to the five families?
Sonny: Well, I'm just gonna -- I'm just gonna tell them, "Look, Spencer's my nephew. Anybody involved, I am going to retaliate, and there's basically only one option -- bring him home without a scratch."
Sonny: Yeah? Yeah, yeah. Send her up. Can you get the door?
Sonny: 'Cause it's your daughter. She's -- she's upset or something. That's what the guard said.
Carly: Oh, my God, Josslyn, baby?
Josslyn: [Sobbing] Mom.
Carly: Okay, okay. Come here, come here, come here. Talk to me. What's going on?
Josslyn: I've done something terrible, and I don't know how to fix it.
Nina: I want to believe you. For Charlotte's sake.
Valentin: No, not for Charlotte. For us. For who we were, what we can still be. You want the truth? So do I. Tell me the truth, Nina. When you look at me, do you see a monster? Or do you see the man you made me want to be?
Laura: Hey, why'd you call me in?
Laura: Do you know something?
Dante: Well, look, the Amber Alert has produced some calls about possible sightings, but nothing's panned out.
Laura: Oh. Well, what do you want me to do?
Dante: I wanted you to corroborate something Valentin said.
Dante: In both your statements, you said that you were present when Charlotte told Valentin that Spencer had accused him of killing Nikolas.
Laura: Yeah. Yeah, I was. And then both of the kids went -- went back to camp, and then Valentin made it really clear to me how furious he was with Spencer.
Dante: Okay, did he threaten him?
Laura: [Sighs] Not -- not in so many words. But the implication was there.
Dante: Okay. So you -- you and Valentin, you spoke, and then he -- he, what, he left -- Valentin left the park?
Laura: Yeah. But that doesn't matter!
Dante: I know. I'm just -- I'm just trying to get the bare facts here to figure out what happened.
Laura: What happened is Valentin kidnapped Spencer, or else he hired somebody else to do it! Have you even arrested him?
Dante: Yes, we have. Okay? But he's in the interrogation room. We haven't had any charges yet.
Officer: Detective, the, uh, witness in the Cassadine case is here.
Dante: That's great. Send her over, please. Let me do the talking, okay?
Laura: Yeah, fine.
Officer: Mrs. Goodwin, this is Detective Falconeri.
Dante: Mrs. Goodwin, great to meet you. Please have a seat. Thank you for coming in.
Mrs. Goodwin: Oh, I had to. That poor little boy.
Dante: Uh, you were in the park today?
Mrs. Goodwin: Every day. The pigeons depend on me.
Dante: Uh, okay, and w-what did you see?
Mrs. Goodwin: Look, do I have to go over this again? I told anyone that would listen. No one believed me.
Dante: Well, I'll believe you.
Mrs. Goodwin: I saw a man dragging a young boy out of the park.
Laura: That's my grandson! Did you see where they took him?
Mrs. Goodwin: No, I'm sorry. I don't really know.
Dante: That's okay. Look, any-- anything you can remember would be able to help us. Do you think maybe if we could show you some pictures, you -- you would maybe remember the man you saw in the park?
Mrs. Goodwin: Definitely.
Dante: Okay. Let's take a look here at some photos. And you tell me... ...if there's anyone there that you recognize.
Nina: I see Charlotte's father. I see a man who's done a lot of things he regrets. I see a man who's promised to be better...for her. I see a man that I... believe.
Valentin: Thank you.
Dante: Now, keep in mind -- take your time -- the person you're looking for, he may not be in one of these photos, okay?
Mrs. Goodwin: Wait, wait, wait!
Dante: Do you see someone you recognize? Which one? This -- this one?
Laura: [Gasps] Oh, my God!
Dr. Obrecht: Damn you, Hayden Barnes, or Rachel Berlin, or whatever you choose to call yourself next. You've managed to bury your past and all your transgressions with it. No crimes, no convictions, no matter how hard I look. I have to admit, I'm impressed. What am I saying?
Dr. Obrecht: She never had to struggle. The world is your oyster when you grow up with a silver spoon in your mouth. That's it. Of course. Liesl, you dummkopf, you've been looking in all the wrong places.
Finn: Do you still have doubts about this house?
Hayden: [Laughs] You can be very persuasive. But what you said about the tennis court, are you -- are you really willing to rip it up and plant a garden?
Finn: Are you kidding me? I won't even let our kids watch tennis on TV.
Hayden: It's not about the tennis court. It -- it's what it represents.
Finn: Right. Oh.
Lucy: Yoo-hoo! I am back! So, was everything to your...liking?
Finn: Uh, yes. No complaints.
Hayden: Not one. [Laughs]
Carly: Come on. I want you to sit down, all right? And you just relax for a minute and you take a breath, all right?
Sonny: I'll let you two have your time alone.
Josslyn: No, wait. Can you stay? Please?
Sonny: Y-yeah, of course.
Josslyn: Spencer disappeared from the park a couple hours ago. They think he's been kidnapped.
Sonny: We're gonna find him. Don't worry about it.
Josslyn: You have to. What happened is all my fault!
Carly: Why would you even say that?
Josslyn: I'm a counselor-in-training. I'm supposed to keep an eye on all the kids at camp. That's my job.
Carly: Okay, baby, it's not your fault, okay? It's not your responsibility to keep an eye on Spencer.
Josslyn: But I know Spencer. And I know he's ran away before. I should have been paying more attention.
Sonny: Yeah, I know you think this is your fault, but it's not. But maybe you can tell us something that could help.
Sonny: When did you notice that he was gone?
Josslyn: I already explained all this to the police.
Sonny: We know Spencer a little more than the police.
Carly: Yeah, and if you tell us what happened, we might think of something that the police haven't yet.
Josslyn: And you'll find him?
Sonny: We're gonna find him.
Carly: So, did you see Spencer this morning?
Josslyn: Um, yeah. Yeah, he was bugging Mr. Callahan about changing his blocking. He's playing Hamlet, and he wanted to be center stage for his big speech.
Sonny: Sounds like Spencer.
Josslyn: Yeah. I didn't even notice that Spencer was gone until after Charlotte's dad showed up to take her. His grandmother wanted to take him home early, so when she sent me to go get him --
Sonny: Back up one second. So, Valentin grabbed Charlotte. How'd that happen?
Josslyn: I don't really know the details. Um, I think Spencer did something to upset Charlotte, because she wanted to talk to her dad. But I didn't know if that was legal. I mean, I know there's a whole custody thing about Charlotte. Um, so I asked Laura instead. And she was with Charlotte when Valentin showed up.
Carly: Okay. Tell me about Charlotte. You said she wanted to call her father. Was she happy to see him?
Josslyn: Very. She's always talking about her father. I mean, she's crazy about him.
Sonny: Okay, when Valentin grabbed Charlotte, is that when you went looking for Spencer?
Josslyn: Laura said she might as well take him home early, and she asked me to go get him. I looked around. I couldn't find Spencer anywhere. So I went back to tell Laura. She tried not to show it. I could tell she was worried. And a half-hour later, the police showed up and started interviewing counselors and searching the park. What if they can't find him? What if Spencer's just gone? [Cries]
Carly: Oh, baby.
Laura: I knew it! You have got to get Valentin to tell us where he took Spencer.
Dante: Okay, I will. I promise, okay? Mrs. Goodwin, thank you very much for coming in.
Mrs. Goodwin: Oh, I was just being a good citizen. But do you think reporters would want to talk to me?
Dante: I don't know. Uh, Mrs. Goodwin, were you wearing your glasses in the park today?
Mrs. Goodwin: Oh, I always wear them. My eyes aren't what they used to be. But with these, I'm right as rain.
Dante: I'll bet. Hey, uh, just a thought. Can you -- can you read that sign over there? I mean from where you're standing. Can you read it from where you're standing?
Mrs. Goodwin: Uh...no. The print's too little. Besides, I'm -- I'm better with people than with posters. I'd know that Cassadine fellow anywhere.
Laura: So, are you saying that you recognize Valentin Cassadine?
Mrs. Goodwin: Well, of course. I follow the news.
Dante: O-okay. Do you think you recognize him from the park? Or do you think maybe you think he's familiar because of the news?
Mrs. Goodwin: Young man, I know who I saw!
Dante: Okay. Uh, can you describe Sergeant Robinson to me, the man who brought you to me earlier?
Mrs. Goodwin: Well, little fellow, uh, kind smile.
Dante: Uh, what color glasses did he have on?
Mrs. Goodwin: Brown? Listen, I came in here voluntarily. If you refuse to believe me, I will just go.
Dante: Not at all. Okay. Uh, thank you -- thank you for your time, Mrs. Goodwin. Uh, Robinson? Can you show Mrs. Goodwin out, please?
Officer Robinson: Can you come with me, ma'am?
Mrs. Goodwin: Fine.
Dante: Thank you.
Laura: That was a -- a complete waste of time!
Dante: Okay, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Unfortunately, we get some witness-wannabes. They want to be in the news, or they truly think they're actually trying to help with a crime.
Laura: Well, it doesn't matter anymore. It doesn't matter. Because we know that Valentin did it! He did it!
Laura: Tell us where Spencer is!
Nina: Okay, they have the wrong man.
Laura: [Scoffs] Are you telling me that you -- you believe him?
Nina: Yes, I believe him! He didn't do it!
Valentin: Every minute you waste with me is a minute you could be searching for Spencer. I am sympathetic to your situation. But I'm not gonna listen to false accusations all day long. Dante, you charge me or let me go!
Laura: You're not going anywhere.
Dante: Laura. Laura, if his alibi checks out, I cannot hold him.
Nathan: Just came from family court. Valentin's lawyer met with Judge Rawles in her chamber, convinced her to agree to visitation, but Valentin wasn't present.
Dante: So you don't have an alibi for the time when Spencer went missing.
Hayden: I'm sorry. I guess we just, uh -- we lost track of time.
Finn: Lost track of time.
Lucy: Oh, my. You know, now that I'm doing this real-estate thingy, though, I have learned plenty, and nothing shocks me. Well, except the fact that property taxes keep going up... never mind. Did you see everything you needed to see?
Finn: Yes, we did.
Lucy: And do you like the house?
Dr. Obrecht: Liesl, you're losing your edge. Only a kindlicher geist would look to the official record to find malfeasance. There are better ways to catch a rat. They're not always in the sewer. Sometimes you find them in the penthouse.
Dr. Obrecht: Aha!
Carly: I promise you that what happened to Spencer is not your fault, okay? I mean, in fact, you helped the police, because you were the first one to find that he was missing. You helped them with their search before the trail went cold, so you did a good thing.
Sonny: Your mom -- your mom's right. We're gonna find him. Don't worry about it. I promise you.
Josslyn: You're promising? For real?
Sonny: For real.
Carly: Wait for me in the car, okay? I'll be right out.
Carly: I'm gonna go with her. You know, I just -- I don't want her to be alone.
Sonny: Yeah. Of course.
Carly: Thank you. Thank you for being so good with her.
Sonny: You know what? Like I said before, Spencer's family. I'm gonna do whatever I got to do. If I start a war, if I have to pay whatever debt -- favors.
Carly: You do whatever it takes. Whatever it takes.
Valentin: I was at the courthouse the whole time. You can check the security footage. I was with my lawyer. He handed me the judge's order. I went right to the park to pick up Charlotte.
Nathan: So you say. The fact is, there's time you can't account for. Enough time to grab Spencer.
Valentin: Well, I didn't. I swear it.
Dante: Sanchez! Take him down and book him.
Valentin: [Sighs] You're right about me, Nina. No matter what they tell you, you're right about me.
Finn: The house is good. It needs some renovation. We'd have to get an engineer in here to have a look around, but --
Hayden: I love it.
Finn: Are you sure?
Hayden: I can picture our family here.
Lucy: That is so fantastic! You know, um, I-I actually have, uh, the -- the paperwork's all kind of done for all the inspections and everything. And I don't really want to sound real real-estatey, but there are some other parties interested. So, I think you maybe should act quickly so you're not disappointed.
Finn: Go get the papers. We're ready to make an offer.
Lucy: [Softly] Yes!
Dr. Obrecht: Guten tag, do I have the honor of speaking with Mr. Jared Preston, Jr.? No, you don't know me, but, uh, we have a mutual acquaintance. My name? It's Dr. Liesl Obrecht. And I'd prefer not to discuss the matter over the phone. I'd be happy to meet wherever's convenient for you. No, no, no, please don't hang up, Mr. Preston. I truly think we should get together. It's in your interest and mine.
On the next "General Hospital" --
Josslyn (to Carly and Bobbie): Were you guys just talking about me?
Ava (to Sam): Guess you'll have to make do with Sonny.
Officer Robinson (to Nathan): Cassadine's bail has been posted.
Laura (to Nina & Valentine): He killed my son! And now he's going after my grandson.
Sonny: That son of a bitch needs to be stopped.
Jason: You want me to stop him?
