Carly: Oh, wow!
Dillon: Hey. Way to step it up, man.
Monica: That was a beautiful fireworks display.
Laura: It was just stunning.
Ned: It's got nothing on my gorgeous bride.
Charlotte: I think you should kiss again.
Olivia: You do?
Olivia: Me too.
Ned: That's a great idea.
Olivia: Come here.
[Cell phone beeps]
Carly: Never thought you'd be addicted to that thing.
Sonny: We need to talk.
Carly: What's going on?
Sonny: I just talked to the nanny. She took Avery to your house. No one's there.
Carly: O-- are you sure nothing was lost in translation?
Sonny: There's not much to translate. Pilar's there with Avery. Josslyn's not home.
Carly: Knowing that she's grounded and she's supposed to watch Avery. You heard our conversation, right?
Sonny: She seemed clear on what's going on.
Carly: Then where the hell is she?
Josslyn: I used to hate it when the fireworks ended. You know, I would always hope that there would be more after the big finale.
Oscar: But then it wouldn't be the big finale.
Josslyn: Yeah. [Chuckles] I guess you're right.
Oscar: Thanks for coming out here. Look, I really needed a break from...everything, and you're the only person I wanted to talk to.
Josslyn: I was really glad when I got your text. But I should probably... is that really the time?
Oscar: What's wrong?
Josslyn: I'm supposed to be at home, watching my baby sister. The nanny's probably already there. I have to go.
[Cell phone rings]
Josslyn: Great. My mom.
Carly: [Sighs] Voicemail.
Sonny: You gonna text?
Carly: Hell yeah, I am.
Josslyn: This is really bad.
Oscar: Your mom?
Josslyn: She's gonna kill me.
Carly: [Breathes deeply] Still nothing.
Sonny: Did you get a "read" receipt?
Carly: Oh, like Joss would ever enable that on her phone? This way, she can pretend she never got the message. What if she didn't get the message? And what if something's really wrong with her?
Sonny: Carly, she's gonna be fine.
Carly: No, you don't know that. Like, what if one of her older friends came over, and they all got in the car, and they went somewhere, and there was an accident?
Sonny: Let's go back in there, say our goodbyes. I-I'll drive you home. We'll find Josslyn, and it's all gonna be fine.
Oscar: Blame me.
Oscar: Yeah, say I talked you into leaving. I can be the bad-influence guy. I'll even go with you and take the heat.
Josslyn: That is beyond nice of you. But this is on me. I agreed to meet you even though I knew I was grounded, even though I knew that I should've been home with Avery.
Oscar: I'm really sorry.
Josslyn: Don't be. Hanging out on this bridge with you was the first time I felt normal in... a long time.
Oscar: [Chuckles] Me too.
Carly: Olivia, I'm so sorry, but we have to go.
Olivia: Oh, you're not leaving, are you?
Sonny: We got this little problem with the nanny and Avery...
Olivia: Oh, okay, okay. Say no more, say no more.
Ned: Kids come first.
Carly: Thank you so much for understanding.
Olivia: Oh, thank you.
Sonny: Would it be -- can I borrow her for one second?
Carly: You know what? I'll meet you downstairs.
Sonny: Yeah. Yeah.
Carly: Congratulations to you two.
Ned: Thank you.
Sonny: Uh, so...
Olivia: Quite a night, huh?
Sonny: This is what people mean when they say someone's glowing?
Sonny: You know, uh... you deserve everything, and I'm very glad that you found it.
Olivia: Sure took me long enough, huh?
Sonny: Ned's a lucky man. [Exhales sharply]
Olivia: Look at him. Can you believe we made that?
Olivia: You know, it's been a wild ride. But I would not change a thing.
Sonny: Yeah, me neither. You take good care of her, okay?
Sonny: You're a good man.
Michael: Okay. Don't -- don't say it. Don't even think it.
Michael: That my parents left because of you. It's not -- 'cause even if that's true, it's their problem, okay? It's not ours. I'm not gonna let it ruin our night.
Nelle: Easy! That's not what I was gonna say. I was just gonna say, you know... I'm starving.
Michael: Okay. Starving, all right. Well, let's get you some hors d'oeuvres. You're gonna need all the energy you can get to keep up with me on the dance floor.
Michael: Come on.
Nelle: Hey, Michael, I just wanted to say that... I really appreciate you inviting me here.
Michael: Well, thank you for saying yes.
Charlotte: This is the best night ever. I get to stay up late when Rocco and Leo have to go home.
Dante: Yeah. Of course. 'Cause we can tell what a party animal you are.
Charlotte: I do like parties.
Laura: Me too!
Charlotte: That makes sense, since we're family.
Laura: Oh, sweetheart. [Smooches]
Nina: Ah, I need a drink, I need a drink, I need a drink.
Monica: Can I have everybody's attention, please? Thank you. On behalf of all of the Quartermaines, I would like to be the first to welcome Olivia into our family.
Monica: And now, I believe, the best man has a few words to say.
Dillon: All right, so, um... my mom cannot be here tonight. She's sad that she missed this, but she is here in spirit, and she is here by the gifts that she bestowed on the happy couple. Ned and Olivia, if you could please raise those glasses up that Mom gave you so everybody can take a look.
Ned: Well, actually, I believe when they're fancy like this, we call them flutes?
Dillon: Okay. Flutes. Apologies. Flutes. Anyway, so, I have the title of being the best man tonight, but we all know that my brother is, by far, the best man probably most of us know. I mean, he's kind, and he's compassionate, he's talented. The guy's a legitimate rock star, people.
Dillon: Olivia, thank God for you.
Dillon: I was worried that my brother was on the verge of dying an old... old spinster.
Dillon: Right? Or what's the male equivalent to the word "spinster"?
Ned: We get the point.
Dillon: Okay. Anyway, ever since you have come into his life, I swear, you have made everything just a little bit lighter and brighter. I have not seen my brother smile as much as he does now in his entire life, and I just want to say thank you for that. Why shouldn't he? I mean, he is a man in love. So, thank you for being the all-around amazing person that you are.
Dillon: I'm pretty pumped to have you as my sister-in-law, especially since your bruschetta rocks.
Ned: He isn't lying!
Dillon: If everyone could please join me in raising a glass to Mr. and Mrs. Edward Quartermaine. I wish you a lifetime of love and laughter, and we are behind you all the way.
Dante: Whoo! Cheers.
Ned: At the risk of sounding hopelessly chauvinistic, I'd just like to say I am deeply honored that Olivia has decided to take my name. For any of you who knew my grandmother, and those of you who didn't, the first Mrs. Edward Quartermaine was a great and gracious lady. And I can think of no one better-suited to follow in her footsteps. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the second Mrs. Edward Quartermaine.
Nina: Hey! Hi, honey. Oh, my goodness.
Charlotte: I've missed you.
Nina: I've missed you so much, too. You have no idea.
Charlotte: Are you here for the wedding?
Nina: You know what? I made a mistake. I didn't know the wedding was going on. I came in here by mistake.
Charlotte: I'm sure Nonna wouldn't mind.
Nina: Oh. Nonna?
Dante: It's Italian. It means "Grandmother."
Dante: But she's right. I'm sure that my mother would have no problem.
Nina: Oh, I'm so sorry.
Olivia: No problem with what?
Nina: I came in here by mistake. I forgot. I totally spaced that it was your wedding. And I just came in for a drink.
Olivia: Well, we got plenty to drink, so you're in luck. Uh, the more, the merrier, right?
Olivia: And I'm sure Charlotte wouldn't mind, right?
Dillon: All right. Would the bride and groom please report to the dance floor?
Olivia: That's me! [Laughs]
Dillon: Ladies and gentlemen, I now present to you, for the first time ever, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Quartermaine.
Singer: When I'm lost in your eyes and can't see your heart it pulls me inside to wherever you are no matter how much I try to hide just can't take my mind off you
Nina: So, are you having fun?
Charlotte: So much.
Singer: I can't take my mind off you
Nina: Do you like living with, um -- with Dante and Lulu?
Charlotte: It's all been really good.
Nina: Great. Good to know. What's wrong?
Charlotte: I like being with Lulu and Dante. Rocco, too. But I really want Papa to come home, so the three of us can be family again.
Nelle: Hey, Nina!
Nina: Oh, hey.
Nelle: Hey! Good to see you.
Nina: Good to see you, too.
Nelle: Hi, Charlotte.
Nelle: You were the best flower girl I have ever seen. Seriously.
Michael: True story.
Nina: I love your dress.
Charlotte: Nelle said I looked like a princess. I told her she looked like one, too.
Nelle: Oh, well, I have Nina to thank for my dress.
Nina: It's my pleasure. Are you having a good time?
Nelle: Yeah, having a blast.
Olivia: Hey! Michael, don't leave us out here all alone.
Michael: [Chuckles] All right. We're being summoned. Ready to rip up the dance floor?
Nelle: No, not really.
Michael: Well, too bad.
Charlotte: Are you going to dance?
Nina: Oh, um... you know, I think I'm gonna sit this one out, all right? Uh, I -- I think I got to go, but it was so great to see you. I'm glad I ran into you.
Charlotte: Me too.
Josslyn: Hey. How was the wedding?
Carly: It was great until we had to leave.
Josslyn: Oh. I'm sorry that I wasn't home when Pilar first got here.
Carly: You showed up soon after. We know. She texted Sonny.
Josslyn: Okay. Then, so why did you leave the party? Everything's fine.
Carly: Why didn't you answer the phone when I called you?
Josslyn: You called me?
Carly: Yeah, and I texted you.
Josslyn: Oh, well, this phone has been so annoying lately.
Carly: Really? It's been giving you trouble, huh?
Josslyn: Tons. You know, maybe we should switch providers. This one sucks.
Carly: Watch your mouth.
Sonny: I'm gonna check on Avery.
Dante: So, I usually dance with Lulu, but she's not here right now. I was wondering if, uh...you want to have a dance with me.
Dante: Yeah. I mean, if you're down with that.
Charlotte: Papa taught me how to dance.
Dante: He did, did he? Perfect. Then you can show me all his moves. Deal?
Dante: All right. Let's do it. Hop on. And... [Humming] You got your moves.
Laura: [Gasps] Hi! I thought you were working and you couldn't make it.
Kevin: First of all, you look stunning.
Laura: Oh, thank you.
Kevin: Second of all, I got off early.
Laura: Oh, yay! Yay. That is wonderful. Not wonderful.
Kevin: Well, it turns out, when I went home to change, I realized I was missing something.
Kevin: Your grandson.
Carly: What are you reading?
Josslyn: "Sense and Sensibility."
Carly: For school?
Josslyn: No, Mom, for fun.
Carly: Put the book down, Josslyn. We need to talk.
Josslyn: I said I was sorry. Avery's safe, sleeping upstairs. What else is there to talk about, Mom?
Carly: For starters, I want to know where you were tonight.
[Dance music plays]
Laura: When is that kid gonna learn that he can't just disappear without telling someone?
Kevin: Well, technically, he did tell us -- well, me, anyway.
Laura: What? He left you a note or something?
Kevin: A text.
Laura: A text? What does --
Kevin: "Tell Grandmother not to worry. I've gone to get proof of my rightful inheritance. See you on the flip side. Spencer."
Laura: [Sighs] You know what? I'm getting too old for this.
Kevin: You're not too old for anything. You proved that the other night after Spencer went to bed.
Laura: Shh! Stop that.
Kevin: Sorry. You're right. We need to focus. So, where do you think Spencer would go to get this proof that he's talking about?
Laura: Feel like taking a boat ride? Come on. I'll get my purse.
Josslyn: I was going crazy in the house while my friends are out doing whatever they want, whenever they want.
Carly: Maybe your friends didn't have a party with boys and alcohol.
Josslyn: Mom, it was so not a big deal.
Carly: Josslyn, it was a very big deal.
Josslyn: So now what? You're just gonna punish me forever?
Carly: No, I just want you to be honest with me.
Josslyn: I went for a walk.
Josslyn: Yes. Alone. Listened to some music and... I-I don't know. I guess I lost track of time.
Carly: You're angry.
Carly: I get it.
Josslyn: No, you don't.
Carly: Yes, I do, Josslyn. No one likes being grounded. That's the purpose of being grounded -- to hold you accountable, to show you that there are limits.
Josslyn: And what about you, Mom? When are you accountable? Never. You just keep making the same mistakes over and over again and calling it true love.
Ned: Olivia and I just want to thank all of you for being here. Looking around the room and seeing our nearest and dearest in one place, uh, I think we can say our hearts are full.
Olivia: Full to exploding. Really.
Ned: And, uh, we'll never forget this night or the people who were part of it.
Olivia: We love you all so much.
Ned: So, on that note, we got to go.
Ned: Goodbye! Good night!
Olivia: Oh, wait, wait, wait, wait! I didn't throw the bouquet! I didn't throw the bouquet!
Ned: Oh, right. Uh, bouquet.
Olivia: Okay. All the single ladies get out on the floor!
Olivia: Come on.
Kiki: I'm ready for this.
Nelle: No, no, no, no, no, no.
Michael: Come on. Go, go. Come on!
Charlotte: Come on.
[Camera shutter clicks]
Kiki: Oh, come here. Come here.
Monica: No, no.
Olivia: Okay. You guys ready? You ready?
[Camera shutter clicking]
Kiki: [Gasps, squeals]
Nina: Hello?! Is anyone here?!
Charlotte: Nina, I'm so glad you could stay for Christmas tomorrow.
Nina: Oh, scary things. Scary things, get out of here.
[Door creaks, closes]
Nina: Spencer! What are you doing here? You scared me half to death!
Spencer: I didn't think anyone would be home. Aren't you living at the Metro Court?
Nina: Yes. But I came to get my things.
Spencer: No, your timing was perfect. You get to bear witness to this significant moment.
Nina: Where did you find the box?
Spencer: I found it under my father's bed, and it's locked, which implies that it's something important, and what could be more important than my grandfather's true will?
Nina: I'm gonna text your Aunt Lulu to text your grandmother --
Spencer: No, that -- Nina, that's not necessary.
Laura: Hello?! Spencer?!
Laura: I can't believe this is happening again, Spencer. I'm sorry, Nina.
Spencer: I told you not to worry.
Laura: You can tell me that when you're 18 years old! Right now, vanishing into the night by yourself is completely unacceptable!
Kevin: What's with the box?
Spencer: I was just telling Nina that I have reason to believe that Mikkos' accurate and true will is inside of it, and it will finally prove that I am the heir of the Cassadine estate and not Valentin.
Laura: This is becoming an obsession. Spencer, put the box down. We're going home.
Kevin: I think he should open it -- w-with your permission.
Nina: I'm sure it's fine.
Laura: Are you sure?
Kevin: If he doesn't look inside, he'll never give it up.
Laura: [Breathes deeply] Okay. Go ahead.
[Spencer jimmies the lock open]
Laura: Where did you learn how to do that, Spencer?
Spencer: Boarding school.
Kevin: Where else? Money well spent.
Spencer: [Exhales sharply] It's in Greek! Can anyone here read Greek?
Kevin: I have a passing knowledge. [Clears throat]
Spencer: What does it say?
Kevin: "The last and will and testament of Mikkos Cassadine."
Carly: I never denied making mistakes.
Josslyn: You just don't correct them.
Carly: Guess what, Josslyn. I'm gonna make more, because that's what being human is all about. But I'm the adult here, and my decisions are based on life experiences that you haven't had yet.
Josslyn: Look. Just because you're older doesn't make you smarter.
Carly: I never said I was smarter, Josslyn. I said more experienced. Look, my childhood was rough. And, man, did I act out -- way more than you did.
Josslyn: Well, so, then why are you --
Carly: Why? Turn around. We're gonna sit down. "Why?" Because what I know, for sure, is that I don't want that for you. I don't. I want you to make better decisions. And I want you to know your self-worth.
Josslyn: Funny. Because that's exactly what I want for you.
Carly: You can't make everything about Sonny, Josslyn. You can't do that.
Josslyn: Why not? You do. It's always about Sonny. Sonny gets his way, no matter what.
Carly: That's not true.
Josslyn: Like tonight, for example. He wants to take you to a wedding, so now I'm suddenly responsible for Avery.
Carly: You love Avery!
Josslyn: Don't tell me how I feel.
Carly: Okay. I'm sorry. You're right. Your feelings are yours, yours alone. You own them. Absolutely. But how you act on them is a different story. Because what you do affects all of us.
Josslyn: Just like how your actions affect me. Why do you get a free pass? It's not fair!
Josslyn: Oh, great. Go ahead. Tell me I'm selfish and irresponsible. Ungrateful? What else?
Sonny: What I was gonna say is, you're right.
Spencer: I was right, wasn't I? This is Grandfather's real will, naming me the sole heir to the Cassadine --
Kevin: I'm sorry, Spencer. This is just a copy of the will that leaves everything to Valentin.
Spencer: No, no, no, no! That -- that can't be!
Laura: Spencer. You have to face the truth, hon.
Spencer: I know the truth. The serpent that did sting my father's life now wears his crown.
Kevin: "Hamlet," Act 1, Scene 5.
Laura: They're doing "Hamlet" this summer at Lila's Kids. It's stirring him up a bit.
Spencer: I played the prince whose father was murdered... by his uncle. No doubt you see the parallel.
Nina: Spencer, I'm sorry you lost your father. I'm sure you miss him every day. Some very adult things happened, and you can't be expected to understand.
Nina: Listen. Here, come here. I am gonna do this. Seat. I am going to make sure that, um, I call Valentin's lawyers, and you can come to Wyndemere whenever you want. You can even ride Lumière.
Spencer: You're leaving her here?
Nina: Yeah. She likes it here. It's her home.
Spencer: Just like it used to be mine.
Laura: But, honey, you have a home now with Kevin and me.
Nina: That sounds pretty great.
Laura: Come on, sweetie. It's time to go home.
Spencer: Let's go.
Laura: Sorry for the intrusion.
Nina: No problem. I understand.
Kevin: Thank you.
Dante: Well, thank you for an amazing life, Ma.
Olivia: Oh, Dante.
Dante: No, no, no, come on. Let me just say this, okay? Everything you did my whole life, everything you put on hold for yourself was for me. And now this is your turn. It's finally your time, okay? And I want you to enjoy every minute of it. All right?
Olivia: Dante Angelo Falconeri... [Breathes deeply] ...You are the best gift... that I have ever been given. So I don't want you to go talking like -- like I did you some kind of favor, because... because you are the favor. I would not change one single thing. [Breathes deeply] I mean, how could I? Look at you. You are the best son that any mother could ever want. And I found the man of my dreams when I was supposed to -- when I was ready to be with him.
Dante: Well, in that case, you're welcome.
Olivia: I love you.
Dante: I love you, too, Ma. You, uh, take care of her, okay?
Ned: You know I will.
Ned: You ready to do this?
Olivia: You lead the way.
Sonny: You're upset. I get it.
Josslyn: "Upset" would be an understatement.
Sonny: I'm not gonna make e-excuses and blame other people, because you deserve better than that.
Josslyn: Yeah, so does my mom.
Carly: Josslyn --
Sonny: No, it's all right. I messed up, I did something terrible to your dad, and you hate me for it. And you know what? I don't blame you. Because I'm the same way. Somebody does something to my family, I don't let them off the hook.
Josslyn: Don't do that. Don't make it sound like we're alike. We're not.
Sonny: We're not alike at all. You know why? Because you're better than me. I hate that I screwed up. I hate sometimes what I do.
Josslyn: Well, me too. I used to look up to you... think of you as...
Well... I know. And I keep telling you the same thing -- that things are gonna be different...
Josslyn: But they never are.
Sonny: But they are, because... [Sighs] I know you're not gonna believe me until I prove it to you, and if I could take back what I did, I would, but we both know that's impossible. The only thing I can do now is make amends. But I'm not gonna stand here and let you punish your mother... for something that was my fault.
Nelle: I don't want to return the dress.
Michael: Well, who knows? Nina might let you keep it.
Nelle: Yeah, and take it out of my next 5,000 paychecks?
Michael: I could buy it for you.
Nelle: No, that's sweet, but... it needs to go back to the designer. But it was fun while it lasted, you know? Just... my coach is just gonna have to turn back into a pumpkin.
Michael: Mm. Well, if you say so. Well, just so you know, Cinderella has got nothing on you.
Nelle: Did you have fun tonight?
Michael: Of course, I did. I always have fun with you. But the night is not over yet.
Nelle: Well, I think for these shoes, it is, so...
Michael: Well, think you can keep them on a little longer? If you want.
Nelle: Do you want?
Michael: I wouldn't say no.
Olivia: Aah! [Laughing]
Ned: Here we are -- home, sweet home. At least for tonight, anyway.
Olivia: [Chuckles] We're married.
Ned: Yeah, we're married.
Olivia: [Laughs] Aah!
Ned: Ohh. I'm officially the luckiest man on the planet.
Olivia: I'm the lucky one.
Ned: Should we toast to our newfound fortune?
Ned: After what?
Olivia: Mm. You'll see. [Chuckles]
Nina: Oh, Valentin, I don't even know if you're alive. I miss you so much.
Dante: Hello? Yeah, this is Detective Falconeri. Yeah. Yeah. What can I do for you? Wait. Say that again. I'm sorry. That's not possible.
Sonny: I appreciate you hearing me out. And I-I hope, one day, you'll -- you'll be able to forgive me. All right. Um... Avery's asleep. I don't know if I want to...
Carly: Oh, leave her here.
Sonny: Are you sure?
Carly: Yeah. Yeah. Waking up to that face?
Sonny: Nothing better.
Sonny: All right.
Carly: Okay. Sorry that the night ended like this.
Sonny: I'm not.
Carly: Thank you -- for being open with Josslyn.
Sonny: You think it's working?
Carly: I think so. I mean, I don't think she'll admit that, but give it time. I mean... she'll come around.
Carly: Bye. Mm.
[Ringtone chimes as Oscar & Josslyn text each other]
Nelle: You know, Nina could come back any minute now.
Nelle: And then the cleaning crew could probably come, too. We should probably stop now.
Michael: That would be the sensible thing to do, wouldn't it?
Singer: Our love could be strong enough I want to be strong enough
[Fire crackling as Ned & Olivia make love]
So just lean on me let me be the one to hold you just believe that love that love is strong enough
Laura: Spencer, it's late. We should go now.
Spencer: Give me a minute. I need to be alone -- with my thoughts.
Kevin: We'll wait in the car.
Laura: Okay. But just a minute, okay, Spencer?
Spencer: I give you my word. The law may be on Valentin's side, but I don't care. Wherever he is, no matter how long it takes... I will fight for my inheritance and claim what's mine.
Lulu: Hey. Is everything okay?
Dante: Uh, y-yeah. Hey. Uh, you feeling better? You sure you should be up on your feet?
Lulu: Oh, no, no. I feel okay. I'm just -- I'm so bummed that I missed the wedding.
Dante: That's okay. Uh...we need to talk.
Lulu: Um... okay. Uh, hey, Charlotte, you know what? It's almost time to go. You want to go get all your stuff?
Lulu: Okay. What is it?
Dante: I have some bad news.
Nina: Oh, my God.
On the next "General Hospital" --
Anna (to André): So last night...
André: Yes, about that.
Lulu (to Dante): How could this happen? Why?
Nathan (to Nina): Why are you here? What do you need?
Liesl (to Finn): Am I to be burned at the stake, or drawn and quartered?
Hayden (to Elizabeth): [Gasps]
Hayden: I think it's the baby.
